The shuttle sails through hyperspace with engines whooshing loudly. It jumps out of hyperspace and the camera pans to follow it across the surface of the large tropical planet of Scarif. A blockade of two Star Destroyers and a defensive shield hangs above the surface.

"Okay, we're coming in. There's a planetwide defensive shield with a single main entry gate," Bodhi tells them, preparing for their arrival. "This shuttle should be equipped with an access code that allows us through."

"Assuming, the Empire hasn't logged it as overdue," K-2SO commented.

"Or stolen," Bodhi muttered.

"And if they have?" Jyn asks.

"Then, they shut the gate and we're all annihilated in the cold, dark vacuum of space." Monica took an educated guess.

K-2SO however intervened. "Not me, I can survive in space."

The shuttle passes under the massive hull of a Star Destroyer. The shadow of the shuttle looms over them and the situation starts to spook them. They made their way to the gate and hoped for the best.

"Okay. Here it goes." Bodhi sighed as he contacted the shield gate via comms. "Cargo shuttle SW-0608 requesting a landing pad."

"Cargo shuttle SW-0608, you're not listed on the arrival schedule."

"Acknowledged, Gate Control. We were rerouted from Eadu Flight Station." Bodhi tells them. "Transmitting clearance code now."

K-2SO started to do just that. "Transmitting."

There is a tense silence as they wait for clearance. Jyn pulls out the necklace her mother gave her, smiles, and closes her eyes. It wasn't exactly what she thought it was, but she felt the stone still held significant meaning to her survival all these years. Cassian climbs up the ladder and looks anxiously at Bodhi.

"Cargo shuttle SW-0608? You are cleared for entry."

Bodhi immediately lets out a relieved cry. "Yes!"

"Impressive," K-2SO replied.

"I'll tell the others." Jane offered as she headed back. She goes down the ladder as Bodhi pilots the shuttle through the shield gate. There is an announcement of a tractor-beam test in the background as they descend. "We're making our way in."

Fury nodded and looked over the crew. "Now, I don't like to sugarcoat things, telling you that things are going to be easy because it isn't." He tells the crew of the shuttle. "In war, we are going to lose one another. Who we lose and how we do so however might be what changes an outcome of a battle from a loss to a victory."

"We will go in and find the Death Star plans, and purge all of their systems to keep them from building any more of these weapons," Yelena told them, referring to her, Cassian, and Jyn. "The rest of you, make our supplies worthwhile."

"Make the most of our men and skills." Hill agreed. "And some of us might make it out of this battle."

"SW-0608 clear for landing pad 9. Acknowledge, please."

"SW-0608 proceeding to LP9 as instructed," Bodhi replied.

The shuttle gets closer to the surface and a tall pyramidal tower with a dish at the top comes into view.

"The main building down there, what is it?" Cassian asks.

"That's the Citadel Tower," Bodhi replied. "They keep all the Imperial structure archives in there. If the plans are anywhere, they'll be there."

"The dish at the top? What's it for?" Monica wonders.

"I guess it takes a lot of signals to send those data files out." Bodhi took a guess.

K-2SO then began to activate the landing. "Landing track engaged.

"Landing track locked," Bodhi replied.

"T'Challa, Pao, Sif, Bishop, you'll take the main squad, move east and get wide of the ship. Find a position between here and the tower. Once you get to the best spot, light the place up." Fury tells them the plans as they feel the ship coming in for a landing.

"And get those troopers away from us," Yelena replied.

"What should I do?" Bodhi wonders as they see they landed.

"Keep the engine running. You're our only way out of here." Kate replied as she patted him on the shoulder, grabbing her gear to be ready to head out.

"Don't worry, Goose will keep you company," Yelena said, looking towards the cat who was licking herself.

The shuttle finally lands on LP 9 and an inspection team of an officer, a flight controller, and two stormtroopers walks out to meet them.

"Cargo shuttle SW-0608, be prepared to receive the inspection team."

Bodhi opens the door to the shuttle and the inspection team sees nothing but an empty cargo hold.

"Hey, you're probably looking for a manifest." Bodhi guessed.

"That would be helpful." The landing officer replied.

Bodhi then looked to the lower hangar where everyone was hiding. "It's just down here."

Bodhi smiles and points to the ladder leading downstairs.

It didn't take long for the crew to make work of them as Shuri and Kamala were seen dragging the body of a stormtrooper into the shuttle as his uniform was removed. Jyn, Yelena, and Cassian are putting on their disguise uniforms. Once they're done, Jyn walks out to say goodbye to the crew. She holds Heimdall's hands and he smiles and puts a gentle hand on her shoulder.

Good luck, and may the Stone protect you." Heimdall tells her with a gentle smile.

The rebels open a hatch at the bottom of the shuttle and jump onto the ground, scattering in their assigned positions. In turn, Jyn, Yelena, and Cassian in Imperial disguise and K-2SO walk out of the shuttle and head towards the elevator that will take them to the facility. As the rebels and Avengers disappear into the tropical forest, K-2SO, Jyn, Yelena, and Cassian walk into the elevator and watch the doors close.

"I have a bad feeling about-" K-2SO said but was stopped.

"K!" Cassian whisperly shushed him.

"Quiet," Jyn stated.

"Shut up," Yelena muttered, her voice scrambled with the voice audio in the trooper helmet.

The doors close, cutting them off. The elevator slides toward the tower as the heroes begin to advance and make some lead away against the location.

"We need a map," Cassian tells them.

K-2SO is being as sarcastic as usual. "Well, I'm sure there's one just lying about."

"You know what you have to do," Cassian told his robot friend.

The elevator door opens and they walk out into a hallway of the facility, full of Imperial officers and stormtroopers. On their way, they pass a droid identical to K-2SO and exchange glances when he walks by.

Meanwhile, the rebel assault team is giving out thermal detonators as they watch an Imperial hangar in the distance. Hill started to pass them out to the separate groups that were beginning to separate so they could cause a distraction.

"One per pad. Pick your spot. We want to draw them out. I'll call the timing." Hill tells them all as Fury is watching for onlookers.

"And remember, no big stunts just yet," Fury said, directly towards Loki. "Got it?"

"Really?" Loki asked with a scoff. "Me? She is the one with the Hammer."

"Please, you're the one for the theatrics." Jane scoffed.

"Go!" Fury stated as they scattered.

Scott was shrunken and was making his way around the jungle using an ant, yeah even the Empire planets have these little guys everywhere. Stormtroopers walk across the hangar, chatting peacefully as Scott just keeps making his way around since nobody is expecting him.

"Hey, did you hear the rumors?"

"Yeah, the T-15s have been marked obsolete."

"Oh boy, it's about time for that."

They don't even have time to react when Scott jumps out of the bushes and grows before he knocks one of them out with his fist, then disappears just as quickly by shrinking before the second one can react.

The rebel forces run by, unnoticed. Another stormtrooper hears someone coughing behind him and turns around to see Sif just before he is impaled in the stomach and dropped to the ground. The rebels plant their detonators on the landing pads and scatter before they can even be noticed.

Then one trooper happened to spot them, causing Shuri to react quickly as she sent a blast from her gauntlets. The stormtrooper is electrocuted to the neck by T'Challa who uses his claws to impale his neck.

In the hallways of the facility, Jyn, Yelena, Cassian, and K-2SO are hiding in a small nook while K-2SO hacks into the Imperial droid they had noticed before. Both the droids' eyes start blinking. As they were doing so, the others were taking positions in front of the elevator entrance with Fury and Kamala leading them.

K-2SO then dropped the droid he was searching through and gave them the rundown. "Our optimal route to the data vault places only 89 stormtroopers in our path. We will make it no more than 33% of the way before we are killed."

Jyn looks up at the two of them worried. Yelena then pulls out a comlink and contacts Fury. "Fury, talk to me."

"We're out here and standing by." Fury called in. "Just give the signal."

Yelena looks at Jyn and she nods from behind her helmet. Then looking over to Cassian he was waiting for her to give the word.

"Let's burn the Empire down," Yelena muttered into the comms

Then Fury gave off the signal as they set off their detonators and a chain reaction of explosions goes off. Stormtroopers walking by them take a second to hear the beeping before they go off and are killed instantly. But this also gave them away and now they needed to be prepared to fight off a battalion of Troopers that were no doubt going to be coming for them.

Jyn, Cassian, Yelena, and K-2 are walking across a corridor when a battalion of stormtroopers runs past them and they move aside, realizing the distraction worked. Inside the Rogue One shuttle, rebels spot the stormtroopers.

A few of the rebels that stayed to protect the shuttle hid in the depths of the shuttle and stayed hidden. The ones in cover emerge from behind the containers and start shooting the stormtroopers. Kamala was there quickly and began to use her powers to create a shield that saved the shuttle and gave the others a barrier to hide behind so they could shoot and defend themselves.

Back in the facility, the trio walks into a room where an officer is at a control panel next to the archives entrance.

"Can I help you?"

"That won't be necessary," Yelena said as she slammed the officer on the head and took control of the panel.

On Home One, a rebel private runs across the whole HQ to reach Mon Mothma, Merrick, and Draven, yelling.

"Senator! Senator!"

Merrick grabs the soldier and stops him from reaching Mon. "Stop right there, Private!"

"Let him speak." Mothma permitted.

"Intercepted Imperial transmission, ma'am. Rebels on Scarif." He informed her.

Mothma was shocked to hear this. "I need to speak to Fury."

"He's already there, ma'am. Admiral Raddus is on his way there now as we speak."

The battle on the beach was becoming more and more intense with the heroes now being cornered and trapped in the open beach field with nothing but crates to keep them safe.

"Keep your heads down!" Hill cried, trying to protect her men.

But some of them didn't seem to be listening, there were a few of them taking a chance for it and trying to shoot and ended up getting shot instantly. They just needed to keep them from advancing inside and keeping the away team so they could grab the plans and get out.

Hill then groaned and knew it was time to call their big leagues. "This is Hill, granting every Avenger permission to use all your powers. The time for subtly is over."

"Thought you would never ask!" Jane cried as the skies above were beginning to darken it seemed Jane was now summoning as much power as she could. Then they watched as lightning bolts began to attack at random, a few giving them the advantage since they were striking Imperial areas, but a few of them were also setting off explosions in the crates, causing them to lose a few more men.

"Watch where you're shooting those!" Hill cried in anger.

In the control room of the ship, Bodhi ended up getting communications from the panicking landing pads. Outside, Kamala was now throwing her Hard Light creations at the Storm troopers and even enlarged her fists to throw large punches toward them. Bodhi takes the opportunity and directs the Imperials away with an announcement of his own.

"Pad 12 report to ground. Coming at our flank, we're outnumbered."

"Pad 12 team, what's going on down there? Status, please. All Pads report in immediately."

"Oh no, we have rebels everywhere!"

"We're taking fire! Pad 12; Pad 14 request assistance."

Bodhi then picked up one of the radios to send in false reports. "This is Pad 2, Pad 2. I spot 40 rebels heading west on Pad 2." Then he handed it to one of the other rebels. "Get on there, tell him pinned down by rebels on Pad 5."

"This is Pad 5, we're being overrun. Help us!" He started doing exactly that.

Back inside the tower, Yelena, Cassian, Jyn, and K-2SO are busy trying to open the archive door. Yelena dragged over one of the imperials and tried to use their hand prints to open the doors, but nothing was happening.

"This is not working, Kay," Cassian tells him.

K-2SO looked and noticed they were using the wrong hand. "Right hand."

Yelena grabs the Imperial's hand and presses it to the scanner. Immediately the door slides open. "It's on the left side, everyone would assume you use your left hand."

Back on the beach, Fury is helping his crew shoot but then overhears a thumping noise and feels the ground shaking. Looking around the area, he noticed a massive AT-AT emerging from the jungle and coming towards the rebel forces.

"Retreat!" Fury called as the crew looked and noticed the oncoming AT-ATs coming in. "Get out!"

"What?" Sam asked when he saw the oncoming AT-AT. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" He then used his wings and started to fly around, trying to shoot down the weapon as he flew around it.

Everyone started to run as fast as they could as the AT-AT started to open fire on them. T'Challa was the only one who was running toward the AT-AT and leaped into the air to then claw at the feet of the AT-AT and only managed to damage a small portion of the feet. His Vibranium armor was strong, but even he needed time so he could break through the armor and defenses of this vehicle.

Bucky was trying to shoot down the AT-AT with his gun that was merged with a blaster, but all it was doing was slightly damaging the weapon.

Kate then drew one of her arrows set it to explosive and eyed the giant walking monster of an AT-AT. "I got it!" She then shot the arrow, watching it fly through the air and smack the AT-AT in the head, making it seem she managed to take it out. She gave a grin to see she took it out, only for the At-At to fix itself and aim right at her. "Oh, shit!"

"Scott! Lang! We need an assist!" Fury cried as he shot another trooper. "NOW!"

"Hang on!" Scott cried as he was running towards them at Ant-Size. "I'm coming! I'm coming!" Then he looked and saw the AT-ATs and groaned. "Oh, this is seriously going to hurt tomorrow!"

"What is he planning?" Shuri wonders.

But her questions were answered when Scott then enlarged himself, causing him to become bigger and still running as he rammed into the AT-AT, causing it to tilt and crash into the ground with Scott on top of it.

"Ow." Scott groaned as he got back up. "That hurt."

"That guy can enlarge?" Jane asked in shock. "Why wasn't he doing that this whole time?"

At the same time, the Rebel fleet emerges out of space over the defensive shield. Admiral Raddus was leading the ships as he was moving his chair to get a good look out the window and the scene before him.

"This is Admiral Raddus of the Rebel Alliance. All Squadron leaders report in."

"Admiral, this is Blue Leader standing by."

" This is Gold Leader, standing by."

"This is Red Leader, standing by."

An Imperial Shield crew member alerts his commander of the rebel fleet. "Sir, those are rebel ships."

"Get Admiral Gorin, and lock down the base. Lock it down." He cried in panic seeing the full-scale assault.

"And close the shield?" He asks.

"Do it!"

In the air, the rebels are getting into formations to attack the shield and get past the blockade.

"Red and Gold squadron, attack formations. Defend the fleet. Blue squadron, get to the surface before they close that gate." Raddus tells them.

"Copy, your Admiral. Blue squadron, on me." Blue Reader reported in. "We won't have long."

Aboard the shield gate, officers are hurrying to lock down the base. An officer pushes a button and the gate slowly closes.

"Close the field aperture now. Close it!"

Rebel pilots racing towards the shield pull up in panic, but not all of them manage to. A few ships crash onto the surface of the shield and explode.

Back on Scarif, K-2SO calls out to Jyn as he intercepts transmissions. "The Rebel fleet has arrived."

"What?" Yelena was surprised to hear.

"There's fighting on the beach, they've locked down the base, they've closed the shield gate," K-2 warned them.

Jyn runs over to Yelena and Cassian. "What does that mean? Are we trapped?

Cassian gives her a grim look, and she nods solemnly.

"We could transmit the plans to the rebel fleet." K-2 saw an alternative way they could do this. "We'd have to get a signal out to tell them it's coming. It's the size of the data files. That's the problem, they'll never get through. Someone has to take that shield gate down."

Cassian then got an idea and turned away. "Bodhi. Bodhi, can you hear me? Bodhi, tell me you're out there. Bodhi!"

Bodhi was there on the ship and was trying to keep the ship prepared for take-off when they came back or contacted them. "Hello, I'm here. We're standing by. They've started fighting, the base is on lockdown!"

"I know, listen to me! The rebel fleet is up there." Cassian said and Bodhi looked outside to see that he was telling the truth. "You've got to tell them to blow a hole in the shield gate so we can transmit the plans."

"Wait, I can't. I'm not hooked into the comm tower. We're not tied in." Bodhi tells them.

"It's the only way we're getting them out of here. Find a way!" Yelena tells him. Then they started to head for the room to find the plans and look at K-2. "Cover our backs."

Jyn then grabbed her blaster and handed it to K-2. "You'll need this. You wanted one, right?"

K-2SO took the blaster and was surprised by her. "Your behavior, Jyn Erso, is continually unexpected."

The AT-AT is preparing to fire at the remaining few rebels. However, Scott came running as fast as he could and this time aimed directly for the neck of the AT-AT rather than ramming it this time and punching it in its weak spot.

But another came out and started to shoot Scott, causing him to wince at the pain and turn to see how far the AT-AT was and he couldn't take it down with it constantly shooting. Sam flew around and shot out a line from his arm that then began to fly around the legs of the AT-AT to finally stop it from moving. Then it is instantly shot by an X-Wing coming out of nowhere with a few more following it. The rebels erupt in cheers.

"Scott? You okay?" Hope asked, flying her way over to see if he was going to fall over. "You need to shrink."

Scott however tried to wave it off. "Nah, nah, I...I'm good. I'm..."

Then Scott started to fall over and Hope sighed and flew over to his belt so she could fix it so he would shrink as he was falling. Scott was then picked up by Hope and she sighed and knew that she needed to get him out of the middle of the battlefield as she shrank him to ant size to keep him safe. When he hit the ground, he managed to create a dust cloud, giving the rebels some cover and even Monica some power to then shoot back due to her kinetic energy powers.

"Forward!" Monica called out as she ran into the open, taking the open fire so she could shoot them back.

Inside the shuttle, Bodhi prepares to make a run for it. "Get ready. We're going to have to go out there."

Another rebel stops him. "What're you doing?"

"They closed the shield gate, we're stuck here. But, the rebel fleet is pulling just have to get a signal strong enough to get through to them and let them know we're trapped down here." Bodhi explained to them what their plan was. "For that, we have to connect to the communications tower. Now, I can patch us in over here, the landing pad but you have to get on the radio and get one of the guys out there to find a master switch. Get them to activate the connection between us and that comm tower.

"Okay."

"Then go!" Bodhi tells them.

Raddus and his crew sit aboard the Mon Calamari cruiser bridge. "What's going on down there, Lieutenant?"

"Unknown, sir. We can't raise them. All rebel frequencies are blocked."

"Keep trying. Engage those Star Destroyers and let's start probing that shield." Raddus tells them.

The Red Squadron pilots are busy shooting at the shield gate and dodging shots from cannons built on top of it. An X-Wing is hit and goes down in flames.

"We're going in! Stay with me." Red Leader tells them.

Jyn and Cassian are in a small control room in the archive tower, searching for the location of the plans. K-2SO is outside the control panel and was trying to figure out where the plans were.

"Schematics bank, Data tower two." K-2 tells them.

"How do I find that?" Cassian asks.

"Searching," K-2SO tells them. "I can locate the tape, but you'll need the handles for extraction."

"What are we supposed to do with these?" Cassian asks when he sees the two handles. He then tried to use them, and he watched as some sort of device traveled up the tower of data disks and saw how to work it. "Whoa."

K-2SO then looked over towards the doors to see some troopers coming in and locking down the door so they could get in. They turn around to see the vault door closing. K-2SO is surrounded by stormtroopers and tries to point them away.

K-2SO "Well, finally. The trooper notices the officer on the floor. "The rebels!" He tried to point them away. "They went over there."

Cassian speaks into the comlink, revealing himself. "Kay. What's going on out there?"

"There's one." K-2SO saw they weren't buying his act and knew he was caught. "Oh well."

Then before the stormtroopers can shoot, K-2 reacts and grabs one of them and throws them into the second trooper before throwing him into the third trooper.

Up in the sky, the bombers are preparing to attack. Just as they start the attack run, TIE fighters come in from the shield and swarm the rebel fleet.

"Red Leader, this is Gold Leader, we're starting our attack run on the shield gate. Keep it tight and watch out for those towers."

"More fighters. Form up, at 65."

"Sir, enemy fighters coming in," Lieutenant warns him.

A dozen TIEs were zooming past the Mon Cala cruiser bridge.

Back on the beach, Fury was getting everyone to cover while Monica was shooting down the troops with the last of her energy. Fury sighed when he heard what sounded like scrambled talking on the comms. Jane came flying through the air and slammed into the ground, sending a wave of electricity through the sand and even made an entire wall of glass due to the lighting she struck it with.

"Fury? Director, sir, come in, are you there?" Kamala was calling in. "Bodhi is going to send a signal from here. He's patching us into the tower to get the signal out to get the plans off the planet. But you guys have to open up a line for the tower."

"And how the hell do I do that?" Fury asks.

"There's a master switch to the base of the Comm tower," Kamala repeated what he said.

"Master switch, describe what are we looking for," Hill called in.

Kamalal looked over to Bodhi who was preparing to get a wire between them and the tower. "What does it look like? The master switch? Where is it?"

Merrick leads his Blue Squadron into attack, covering the rebels on the beach.

"Two wings, reinforce those troops on the beach. All fighters, on me. We have to shield them from air attack."

"Troop reinforcements. Here we go!" A rebel called, opening the hatch for the ship.

A craft full of reinforcements lands and disembarks on the beach with a war cry, attacking the stormtroopers.

The rebels attempting to take down the shield are not affecting it and are still pressed by TIE fighters.

"We're having no effect on that shield."

BLUE Pilot responded, "How much more can that thing take?"

"Stick close, Red 5, where are you going?" Red Leader called in.

"I'm trying to lose them. This is Red 5, I need help!" Red Five is caught in the scopes of a TIE pilot and goes down in flames.

Up in the tower, Jyn and Cassian are going through archive after archive. There were a lot of archives and a lot of projects in the works and they were impossible to figure out what meant what.

"Hyperspace Tracking. Navigational Systems. Interstellar Jump Drive." Jyn named all of the projects.

K-2SO was currently fighting a lot of troopers as they kept on coming. "Two screens down. Structural engineering, open that one!" A stormtrooper walks in and K-2 shoots him without even looking his way.

Up in the air, the battle rages on. The more advanced TIE Strikers are now chasing down the rebels.

"I got one on my tail!"

"I'm on it."

Bodhi connects the cable to the radio while Kamala comes after him, keeping him protected and trying out a new trick she discovered. She embiggened herself, causing her entire body to become enlarged with her Hard Light capabilities and fight back to defend them.

Jyn keeps rummaging through Engineering files. "Project code names: Infinitude. Stellarsphere. Hybrids. Mark Omega. Pax Aurora. War-Mantle. Cluster-Prism. Black-Saber." She stops dead in her tracks. "Stardust. That's it."

"Are you sure?" Cassian asks.

"Stardust is the name me and Kate Bishop found." Yelena agreed. "And it's what her dad calls her."

"She's right." Jyn smiled.

"Kay, we need the file for Stardust!" Cassian tells him.

K-2SO nodded and started to locate it for them. "Stardust."

Yelena watched as one of the plans started to flash green, indicating that was the one they were after. "That's it."

But then K-2SO was beginning to become overrun as a squad of stormtroopers burst into the room shooting at him. With his last effort, he punches the vault door shut. He damaged the controls so that none of them could get in, but also meant that they couldn't get out.

"K?!" Cassian wasn't sure what was happening.

"Climb. Climb." K-2SO said as his voice got high-pitched and his systems were being damaged. "You can still send the plans to the fleet. If they open the shield gate, you can broadcast from the tower! Locking the vault door now."

"Kay. Kay!" Cassian ran his way to stop the doors from closing.

K-2SO however didn't let that happen as he broke all the controls with his final breath. "Goodbye."

K-2SO then was shot once more and he hit the ground with his eyes going dark.

Bodhi is fiddling with wires when he is surprised by a stormtrooper aiming at him.

"Hey, you. Identify yourself."

Bodhi gave up and raised his hands to slowly turn around. "I can explain."

But before he could, Kamala came in and slammed the ground with her enlarged fists, crushing the trooper with her fists. Then an entire squadron changed to then open fire on them, only for Kamala to create a shield for them to hide behind and for Bodhi to complete his work. As he was doing so, Kamala spun herself and the shield and threw it toward the troopers, knocking them all down.

Kamala and Bodhi were making their way back towards the ship but were in the middle of a battle between mostly everyone from all sides. Heimdall was using his sword to attack, striking the Storm troopers as they advanced. Sif was using her shield to keep him safe as she ran and impaled another trooper. T'Challa ran and leaped into the air to release the kinetic energy to create a clearing for them to shoot the troopers down.

Kate then aimed three arrows at once and shot the troops in their weak spots in the armor. Hope couldn't shrink since she was carrying Scott and was left with her one working stinger on her arm to help defend them. Hill and Fury were the only two who managed to board the ship and were still holding their ground. The only two not accounted for now were Loki and Jane. Sam was using his wings as shields as he targets the troops and sent our rockets to kill several troopers. Bucky was using his rifle to shoot them from a distance inside the shuttle to keep their ride safe.

Cassian calls out to Bodhi via comlink. "Bodhi? Are you there? Have you got the switch?"

"I can't get to the shuttle, I can't plug in!" Bodhi warned them.

"You have to! They have to hit that gate. If the shield's open, we can send the plans!" Cassian as they saw they needed to find a new way to get the plans.

"Step back," Jyn warned as she drew another blaster.

Jyn shoots a hole through the glass in the control room, opening up an alternative exit. Jyn takes off her uniform jacket and climbs out the window. Cassien removed the jacket while Yelena was happy to be out of the trooper armor as they jumped over from the wall to the archives at a dazzling height.

A TIE fighter hits the wing of Blue Eleven and the pilot screams.

"We're going down!"

The beach battle rages on. No side seems to be winning so far, but a squad of death troopers arrives. But then a wave of Mjolnor fragments came flying through the air and killed them on impact they then summoned themselves and made their way back towards Jane who leaped into the air and slammed the ground in the center of a group of troopers, causing them to be electrified and killed.

Kamala and Bodhi made it onboard the ship and began to set the rest of it all up and get into contact with Loki and Jane.

"Anyone out there, I'm tied in at my end, I just need an open line." Bodhi contacted them.

"Hang on." One of the rebels pointed towards the control panel they were close to. "The master switch, it's over at that console."

"I'm going!" One of them said.

He peeks out but is instantly shot by a sniper death trooper. That trooper was then smacked by Jane who came and punched him with her hammer, causing him to be electrified and killed instantly.

Jyn, in turn, almost drops the data disc but grabs it at the last moment and straps it onto her belt.

"Careful! You okay?" Cassian asked her.

"I'm good," Jyn promised.

"Good. Now climb!" Yelena cried as they made their way upward.

The master switch remains untouched. Loki saw that Jane was holding back the dozens of troops that were coming and sighed. He needed to do this. And with that, he emerges from his cover and walks across the battlefield watching the constant blaster fire as he tries to avoid all shots. Jane tossed her hammer and punched another one of the troops as she summoned it back when she noticed Loki. Loki then threw a knife he created into the neck of one of the troopers.

"Loki!" Jane cried as she blocked blaster fire.

Loki ignores it and reaches the control panel and pulls the master switch. "Glorious purpose."

Bodhi was getting the results as he saw that they managed to activate the switch. "Yes!"

Loki then took an explosion from a rocket, sending him flying backward and rolling in the sand. "Loki!" Jane cried summoning all her might to summon the biggest blast she could and then sending it flying through the forest, killing everyone.

"Keep going. Keep going!"

Jyn keeps climbing up to the exit hatch. Death troopers then emerge from an elevator door and, after a brief exchange, shoot Cassian and he falls off the tower onto one of the bars below. Yelena opened fire and shot the trooper while he was focusing on Cassian and looked back down.

"Cassian." Yelena cried and looked up to Jyn. "Get those plans up there!"

Jyn nodded as she kept climbing and Yelena dropped down and used a line she attached to the elevator to lower herself downward towards Cassian and saw he was hit in the hip.

"Cassian." Yelena tapped his cheek to see if he was responding. "Cassian?"

Cassian groaned and Yelena saw he was alive. "Come on, this is just a flesh wound. Don't be a baby."

"Your bedside manner could use some work." Cassian groaned as Yelena helped him stand. "Where's Jyn?"

Yelena looked up and saw Jyn making her way upward. She saw some sort of contraption that kept opening and closing but didn't let that stop her as she made her way through and up to the roof.

"She's getting the plans out of here." Yelena was happy to see. Then she wrapped a line around Cassian to carry him to the elevator. "Now let's get ourselves out of here."

"Deflector shield's down to 50%, we're sustaining heavy damage."

"There's no turning back now, we have to press the attack."

"Hit that opening."

"We see it, Gold Leader. Ion torpedoes away."

The Gold Squadron launches torpedoes at the ISD and power goes out on the massive vessel. Shutting the Destroyer down and stopping it from firing upon them.

"That Star Destroyer is disabled." Raddus took notice.

"This is Rogue One, calling any Alliance ships that can hear me! Is there anybody up there? This is Rogue One! Come in, over." Bodhi called into the comms as Kamala helped him finish the job.

"This is Admiral Raddus, Rogue One, we hear you!" Raddus called as he looked down on the planet.

Bodhi did a small cheer when he saw it was working. "We have the plans! They found the Death Star plans. They have to transmit them from the communications tower! You have to take down the shield gate. It's the only way to going to get them through!"

Raddus looked over towards the disabled Destroyer and got an idea. "Call up a Hammerhead Corvette. I have an idea. Standby, Rogue One, we're on it."

Back on the planet, a stormtrooper threw in a grenade, getting Kamala and Bodhi off guard. Before either could react, however, Goose was already on the case. The Flerkin used its tentacles to grab the bomb and swallowed it whole. The two of them were left shocked as they weren't sure what to make of that as the creature meowed and went back to licking itself.

Jane ran over to Loki and dropped down to see his injuries. "Loki? Loki?!" Then she saw he wasn't moving and sighed as she kneeled to pay respects. "I bid you take your place in the halls of Valhalla... Where the brave shall live forever. Nor shall we mourn but rejoice-"

Loki then gasped as he stood up, spooking Jane in the process. "What? Did you think I was dead?" He asked in anger as he stood up and was struggling to stand due to being dizzy. "Are you kidding me? I have survived worse than an explosion."

"Sorry," Jane apologized. "You were cold and didn't have a pulse."

"I'm a Frost Giant!" Loki reminded her. "Of course I am cold!"

Jane groaned as she kinda did wish he just died. "Okay, well, let's just get going. We need to get out of here."

Jane then summoned the hammer back and used it to fly them off towards the ship.

A Hammerhead Corvette is seen speeding towards the disabled ISD at full power. The crew braces for impact.

"Corvette 5, locked on target. Prepare for impact. Full power!

The corvette crashes into the side of the disabled ISD, bringing it towards the second Destroyer. A horrible collision forces the Destroyers to fall slowly towards the shield gate, breaking it in half. Imperial crew members scream in pain as the ships go down, exploding.

Jyn climbs out of the hatch, avoiding its sharp edges, and races to the antenna to send off the plans, but encounters a problem.

"Reset antenna alignment. Reset antenna alignment. Reset antenna alignment. Reset antenna alignment."

Jyn looks over to the side of the tower where there is another control panel, but a TIE Striker almost shoots her off the edge. She barely makes it up and fixes the antenna while an X-Wing comes in and attacks the TIE shooting at her.

"Antenna alignment. Ready to transmit."

Jyn turns away to hear the sound of the elevator and sees Cassian and Yelena. "Did you do it?"

Jyn smiled and nodded. "Transmitting now."

"The shield is up, the signal will never reach the rebel base." Cassian groaned when he saw it.

"Cassian. You have very little faith." Yelena replied.

Then they watched as the ruins of the shield came crashing down, revealing they had already taken down the shield and the plans were indeed being broadcasted.

"Admiral, we have the plans!"

"She did it," Raddus said with pride.

The Mon Cala cruiser has received the transmissions, but someone catches a massive object on the horizon. It's the Death Star. Krennic opens his eyes, and a look of horror flashes on his face as he sees it too.

"Sir, we're detecting a massive object emerging from hyperspace."

They watched as the Death Star was beginning to loom over the planet and was seemingly preparing to fire upon them. Everyone on the planet was just preparing to finally leave this planet seeing the coming troops when they saw the incoming Death Star.

"They're preparing to fire," Heimdall warned them, seeing them even from this distance. "We will not make it off the planet."

"So, that's it?" Shuri asks. "We're done?"

"Monica, you gotta fly!" Fury said as he was directed his attention toward the only one who could save them.

"What?! No, no, I mean, I know- I technically never tried!" Monica reminded him. Sure she could fly in the vacuum of space with no problem because her powers created an aurora of air and protected her from the dark cold vacuum of space, but she never took off from the ground before. "I've never done that!"

"Yeah, well, you've got to, otherwise we are all going to know what the surface of the sun feels like!" Fury said.

Monica groaned and knew she could theoretically absorb the Death Star blast, but she needed to take off and beat it before it could reach the planet. She then tried to summon as much power as she could, and she was beginning to slowly take off, but she was also slipping on literal thin air in the process. Then with one swift movement, she took off to the skies and was flying her way towards the massive weapon of mass destruction.

"We gotta get out of here!" Jane cried as everyone ran towards the ship.

"What about the others?" Hope asked as she ran on board.

"We'll pick them up!" Bucky called as they began to take off.

Monica flew swiftly towards the looming Death Star, her heart pounding in her chest as she gazed up at the colossal machine, its dark surface looming like a malevolent shadow in the void of space. She knew she had to reach the weapon before it could unleash its deadly power on the planet below, and she gritted her teeth, determined to succeed.

As she drew closer to the Death Star, she calculated the trajectory of the weapon with lightning speed. Racing towards it with incredible speed, she felt the adrenaline coursing through her veins as she made a desperate bid to intercept the beam before it could cause any harm.

She watched with intense focus as three lasers emerged from the weapon, followed by several more, all converging into a single, deadly beam. With a fierce determination, Monica braced herself as the blast engulfed her, the sheer force of its energy threatening to overwhelm her. But she stood her ground, screaming as she absorbed the immense power that surged through her body, her muscles straining against the incredible force.

For a moment, Monica feared that it might be too much, that her body might not be able to withstand the onslaught. But she gritted her teeth and focused, channeling all of the energy into a single, blinding burst of cosmic kinetic power that shone like a brilliant star.

Her eyes blazed with an otherworldly white light as she prepared to unleash the full force of her newfound power on the weapon of mass destruction. The entire Death Star shook with the force of her attack, the sound of the explosion echoing through the vast expanse of space.

With a fierce determination, Monica flew around the ship, searching for the thermal exhaust port that would allow her to release the power and destroy the weapon. When she finally found the trench, she flew through the exhaust port with incredible speed, her heart racing as she felt the intense heat of the energy pulsating around her.

Finally, she reached the core of the Death Star, her entire body pulsing with cosmic energy. With all of her might, she released the power, sending a massive shockwave that shook the entire weapon and caused it to explode into a million pieces, sending debris hurtling through the void of space.

Monica watched with a sense of awe and satisfaction as the Death Star was destroyed, her heart soaring with the knowledge that she had saved countless lives.

As the shuttle carrying the remaining crew made its way toward the rebel ships orbiting the planet, everyone felt a sense of relief and accomplishment. They had successfully retrieved Cassian, Yelena, and Jyn and were now heading back to safety. The crew inside the shuttle was greeted with cheers and applause from the rebels who saw them as heroes.

Monica, who had exerted all her cosmic energy, looked tired but happy as she landed inside the ship. Her crewmates congratulated her and everyone on a job well done getting the plans and destroying the weapon. They all made their way to the control room where Mothma praised them for their bravery and thanked them for their assistance.

"Great work out there," Mothma said as they entered the control room. "We owe you a debt of gratitude."

Monica simply nodded and replied, "Just doing our job."

However, their moment of victory was short-lived as one of the rebels called out to Mothma, informing her that a Star Destroyer was approaching their position.

The rebels were on high alert as they monitored the Star Destroyer's approach. Suddenly, one of the rebels called out urgently, "Ma'am, a Star Destroyer is advancing on our position!"

Fury immediately rushed over to check the ship's controls. "Jump to Hyperspace."

"Something is stopping our engines from going, and they're sending shuttles to board us." He reported to Fury.

The situation was dire, and to make matters worse, the Star Destroyer's shuttles were closing in on their ship. Panic set in as the power to the ship suddenly went out, plunging them into complete darkness.

Hill wasted no time in warning, "We have to evacuate!"

Fury was quick to respond, "Activate the evacuation protocol!"

And they all ran towards the shuttle in a desperate bid to escape the Star Destroyer's clutches. The fate of the rebels was uncertain, and they could only hope to make it out in time before they were captured by the enemy.

In the eerie silence of a dimly lit hallway, a group of brave rebels cautiously advanced on getting the Death Star plans purged from their systems to a small device. Once it was done they were running as fast as they could toward the shuttle. Their mission was simple: to escape with what was left of the Death Star plans. However, as they were making their way towards the doors that separated them from the shuttle, they realized that something was keeping the door from opening. The rebels tried to get someone's attention, but their loud voices couldn't be heard over the blaring alarms and the flickering lights of the ship.

"Hey! It's jammed!" They tried to get their attention.

Suddenly, they heard something clicking their way down the hallways. They looked back towards the hallway, holding their blasters raised and ready for any potential danger. That's when they saw her - the formidable Scarlet Witch stood defiantly at the other end of the hallway, her hands glowing with Chaos Magic and lighting up the hallways.

As the tension built up, the air crackled with energy, hinting at the Scarlet Witch's immense power. With a flick of her wrist, the Scarlet Witch unleashed her chaotic abilities, causing reality itself to warp. The hallway trembled, and the rebels found their aim disrupted as their blaster bolts veered off course. Confusion and panic washed over their ranks, but they pressed on, determined to survive this ordeal.

"Help us!" One of the rebels cried out for help, finally getting one of their comrades to come over and help try to pry open the doors. "It's jammed!"

But undeterred, the Scarlet Witch conjured a powerful force field, deflecting the incoming blaster fire. With a wave of her hand, she sent tendrils of energy swirling through the air, ensnaring rebels and hurling them against the walls. One by one, the troopers fell, realizing they were no match for her overwhelming might.

However, the rebels, trained for combat in the harshest conditions, adapted quickly. They regrouped, forming a defensive formation and advancing methodically. Their disciplined firing patterns intensified, forcing the Scarlet Witch to constantly dodge and weave, her agility proving to be her only defense.

Seeing an opening, the Scarlet Witch tapped into her reality-altering powers once more. The hallway twisted and shifted, disorienting the rebels. Their ranks fragmented, and confusion reigned. Some found themselves trapped in illusions, their senses deceived by the Scarlet Witch's manipulations.

Despite their setbacks, the rebels fought on, their relentless determination driving them forward. Blaster bolts continued to rain down upon the Scarlet Witch, forcing her to rely on her telekinetic abilities to deflect them. She retaliated with bursts of energy, tearing through the rebels' defenses and sending them sprawling.

The battle raged on, a clash between the rebels' precision and the Scarlet Witch's raw power. The hallway echoed with the sounds of blaster fire and the crackling of energy. Yet, as the skirmish ensued, it became clear that the Scarlet Witch's abilities were overwhelming the troopers.

Finally, the rebel who was holding the Death Star plans handed it to the soldier on the other end of the door. "Take it! Take it!" he shouted.

The soldier did just that as he took the Death Star plans and ran towards the shuttle. One by one, the rebels fell, overwhelmed by the Scarlet Witch's relentless assault. As the last trooper hit the ground, the hallway fell silent, except for the Scarlet Witch's steady breathing.

After successfully fending off her pursuers, the Scarlet Witch paused to catch her breath. Her eyes reflected both exhaustion and triumph as she took a moment to compose herself. With a determined stride, she continued to make her way through the Imperial facility, leaving behind the defeated soldiers in her wake.

As the Scarlet Witch drew closer to the shuttle, she watched with a growing sense of frustration as the ship detached and disappeared into Hyperspace, leaving her alone and defeated. Her anger began to surge, and her eyes began to glow with a fierce and ominous red light as she saw she was seconds away from getting one of the six Infinity Stones.

Think she was out for the Death Star plans? No, she was there to get the Stone Jyn was carrying around her neck. She swiftly turned around, her cloak following her as she stormed past the Stormtroopers and marched back towards her shuttle to report to the Emperor.

But this was only the beginning of the battle.

(A/N) For clarity, K-2's death was the only one I found unavoidable. And I planned for the Death Star to be destroyed early since the beginning of writing this story. And purging the plans from the Emire shows they can't go with making a new one, and they now need a new way to go against the Rebels.

And you already saw one of them. Wanda is one of their weapons and there will be more yet to come as you will soon see...

And also I kept Vader out of this one since I had him on Lothal before this arc started. And I have plans for him there, and wanted to show off Wanda's gaining more control over her powers but losing control over her mind.

No, Thrawn was not on the Death Star, we're going to see more of him
