On the planet Garel, Ezra Bridger is doing blaster training with Captain Rex, using Chopper as a target while holding up a Stormtrooper's helmet. He was failing miserably to shoot using an actual blaster as he was more used to using his slingshot or his blast attached to his saber. Peter was training Gwen using her web-shooters to try and hit targets.
Gwen was getting exhausted due to the constant training she had been put through recently since their encounter with the Inquisitors. Peter has begun to double down on her training, no longer assigns her to things, and becoming a bit more aggressive with the training. He wanted to keep her alive now that he knew Inquisitors and Mara Jade were back on their scent.
"Can we take a break?" Gwen asks Peter. "My arms are getting a bit sore, and so are my fingers."
Peter groaned as he rubbed his face. "Fine. We can maybe start back on learning more about these new abilities of yours. Your invisibility and phasing. Those are powers I don't have, that I know of."
BD chirped.
"Yeah, well, I've been Spider-Man for almost three years now, so I think I got all my powers." Peter retorted.
"Aim, then fire," Rex tells Ezra.
Ezra continued to miss the target. "Rex, I bet sometimes you miss, even."
"Speaking of, you're missing Jedi training," Kanan said as he approached. "Which is now. Remember?"
"You know, I can't be in two places at once," Ezra informed them.
"As a soldier, you're gonna have to learn to prioritize," Rex tells him.
"Well, he's not a soldier." Kanan reminded Rex. "He's a Jedi."
"Yeah." Ezra scoffed. "What if I don't want to be either?"
That got their attention back on him. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Hey, practice squad, Hera called a meeting," Sabine called as she exited the Ghost. "Attendance is mandatory."
Ezra and Gwen were quick to walk off and be glad to get out of training for a moment.
"So, what's bothering him?" Rex asks Kanan.
"No idea," Kanan admitted. "This is new."
"As we speak, the frozen planet of Rinn is facing an energy crisis." Commander Sato told them over a hologram, showing them the planet in question. "When their supply of fuel cells is gone, the settlements will not be able to power the heaters they need to survive."
"They'll freeze down there," Sabine commented.
"Since we're on Garel, we should check out the black market," Ezra tells them. "Bound to be generators or something we can get our hands on."
"See what you can find, without delay," Sato said before handing it up.
"Gear up, everyone," Hera said as everyone got ready to go. "Time to go make friends with the locals." But when Ezra and Gwen were gearing to go, she stopped them. "Except you, Spectre-6 and Spectre-9. I asked you two to clean the ion scoring off the Phantom's exhaust ports. Twice."
"But I had Jedi practice." Ezra defended. "And blaster practice."
"Yeah, and I had Spider practice." Gwen defended.
"Well, now you two have scrubbing practice," Hera tells them.
Chopper was laughing as he strolled through.
Hera however put her hands on her hips. "What are you laughing at? You're gonna help them."
BD then had a turn to laugh at the droid as he leaped onto Peter's shoulder.
"Yeah, we're gonna need you, buddy," Peter assured BD. "We need someone to confirm the generators are safe to use."
Ezra and Gwen watched from the roof of the Ghost while the team strolled off to the black market, leaving the three of them alone. Ezra let out an angry sigh as he cleaned the outside of the Ghost while Gwen dealt with the inside of the Phantom cockpit.
"It's "clean the Ghost," lightsaber training, blaster training." Ezra sighed as he saw Chopper cleaning the windows. "I kind of miss the old days when everything was simple."
"Yeah, well, I didn't really get that kind of simpler days," Gwen remembered of her childhood. "I just sat by and was forced to watch as she created experiments and weapons to torment the galaxy."
Then they heard someone panting and looked down just as Peter Quill ran and hid in their docking bay, quickly running past were a handful of Troopers who missed him dodging into the area and he let out a sigh of relief. BD ran to the ledge and jumped when he saw Quill.
"Peter Quill?" Ezra was surprised to see him.
"That Star Lord guy?" Gwen asked in surprise.
"It's Star-Prince! I-I mean...GAH!" Quill cried in anger. "The one person who gets it right, and I correct them."
BD ran over and jumped on Quill, showing him some affection.
"Oh, hey there, little guy," Quill greeted him.
"What are you doing here?" Ezra asks.
"Uh, well, me and the guys were on a mission, and it might have gone south," Quill admitted as he snuck towards the Ghost. "Think I can hang here until the heat dies down?"
"Uh... sure," Ezra said, seeing there was no harm in it.
Chopper seemed to be against it, bleeping and grunting.
Then there was another bleeping from Chopper, getting the three to stop what they were doing and looking towards Chopper. He explained to them that he was getting a distress signal.
"A distress signal? From who?" Ezra wonders.
"This is the Broken Horn. We require assistance..."
"Broken Horn?" Gwen asked, never hearing of it.
Ezra was surprised to hear that. "That's Vizago's ship."
"Vizago? As in Cikatro Vizago? The smuggler?" Gwen wanted to clarify.
"Oh, yeah, I know him, we've done a few jobs for him the last few months," Quill admitted.
"That's him. Okay." Ezra said as he stopped what he was doing. "Look, someone's in distress, and if there's one thing I've learned from Kanan, it's that we help people in distress."
Gwen saw what he was doing, seeing a rational way of getting out of their responsibilities. "And if there's one thing I've learned from Peter, it's that 'With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility.'"
"Whoa, that's good," Quill admitted. "Did he come up with it?"
"No, his uncle did," Gwen explained as Ezra ran off towards the Phantom.
"Mind if I tagged along?" Quill asked. "I am not sticking around to explain this to your...whatever you guys are."
"Sure," Gwen shrugged, running towards the Phantom.
"Well, let's go see what Vizago got himself into." Quill shrugged. "And this might make him owe me and my crew one."
"You mean Han's crew?" Gwen asks.
"Whatever," Quill shrugged that off. "And I may or may not owe him."
"For what?" Ezra asks.
"Long story," Quill answered.
Gwen then looked to see Ezra jump into the pilot seat. "Wait, have you ever flown before?"
Ezra scoffed. "Please, I know how to fly."
Then as they were taking off, Ezra began to scrap them off the side of the Ghost before beginning to slowly take off. Quill grabbed ahold of a handle and tried to steady himself. Gwen however didn't need to steady herself due to her powers and just gave him a look.
"Know how to fly, huh?" Gwen asked sarcastically.
Ezra scoffed. "I got it."
They then take off into the atmosphere where they easily discover the Broken Horn in the distance. It seemed to be floating there in the middle of dead space with nobody else flying around the ship as it just drifted through space.
Chopper grunted.
"No, I'm not running away from my problems," Ezra stated. "I am simply helping someone with their problems."
"Like we were shown and taught to do," Gwen stated. "There's a difference."
"You guys are arguing with him?" Quill asks. "Tryst me, doesn't end well."
Chopper grunted with a laugh.
"That's Vizago's ship, all right," Ezra said as they got closer. "Vizago! Cikatro Vizago, do you read me?"
They don't get any response on the comms. Chopper grunted, wondering if they were going to board.
"Well, of course, we're going to board the ship."
"Looks dead," Gwen commented.
"Let's go in and see what happened," Quill said.
They went in for a landing on the ship, at a port where they could board. They opened the door, Gwen gearing up in her attire and BD on her shoulder, Quill activating his mask, and Ezra bringing his cadet helmet. They exited the Phantom and entered the ship, seeing how gloomy and dark it seemed with the dim lights and the empty hallways.
"This looks like that Alien movie," Quill commented. "If I hear anything roaring down these halls, I will take the ship."
"Yeesh, and you were a fearless fighter?" Gwen asked as she stepped forward. "I can sense dangers. We are literally incapable of being harmed with me around."
"Right." Quill sighed. "I'll go this way." He gestured down another hallway, with more lights. "You two stick together."
"Great," Ezra sighed as he and Gwen walked one way, and Chopper ran off with Quill.
Gwen was wandering around when she walked backward, she bumped into something. She let out a shriek and quickly spun around in a defensive position, only to turn and notice it was a deactivated security droid. Ezra walked over and chuckled while BD did the same.
Gwen gave him an eye even if he couldn't see her. "Don't you ever dare mention this to anyone."
BD chirped.
"No promises," Ezra replied.
Peter and Kanan were searching around for generators or power cells so they could help the people of Rinn while he was trying to figure out what he was doing wrong with Gwen's training. With him, it just came so naturally. Sure, he had a lot of trial and error, but once he got the basics, things just fell into place.
"Something on your mind?" Kanan asks. "You seem distracted."
"Just training Gwen," Peter said as he rubbed his head. "She is just... I don't know what I am doing wrong. It is like she isn't focusing hard enough. And she needs to be focused to understand these powers. I mean, I know she can do stuff I could never do, but... with Mara Jade hunting us, and now we have more Inquisitors after us, she needs to be prepared."
"You are making the same mistake that I did with Ezra," Kana could easily fix his problem. "I thought the problem was Ezra wasn't focusing, but really it was more I was rushing him to do too much too soon."
"So, I need to slow down?" Peter asks. "With all of these threats that we are facing? I feel like slowing down would be a mistake."
"Were you rushed when you first got your powers?" Kanan asks.
"Those were different circumstances," Peter defended. "I wasn't in the middle of a galaxy at war with itself."
"Circumstances aside, you need to be patient," Kanan informed him. "That is the only way that you are going to get her to be better."
Back on the ship, Quill and Chopper were sneaking around, trying to find anyone. The entire ship seemed like it was abandoned. Quill and Chopper made their way down a corridor and stopped when they saw an opening and saw there were only crates.
"Are those generators?" Quill asked.
Chopper grunted, confirming that they were generators, even if Quill didn't understand him.
"Whoa. We hit the jackpot. You know what these things are worth?" Quill asked as he approached them. "Wonder what Vizaggo was gonna do with them?"
Making their way through the ship, Ezra and Gwen found the cockpit and heard music playing as BD scanned for life forms. They saw there was another one of those bots, and someone was working on the controls.
"Vizago? Vizago, is that you?" Ezra asked, stepping forward.
They watched as a Weequay came out of underneath the controls. "Uh, not exactly."
Ezra got his lightsaber-blaster ready, and so did Gwen with her web-shooters when they saw that this was not Vizago. He came out and dusted off his suit as BD chirped in worry, backing to hide behind Gwen's hood.
"Well, hello there. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Hondo Ohnaka, the proud owner of this-"
"Wait, wait wait," Gwen quickly interrupted him. "Did you say your name is Hondo Ohnaka? The Hondo Ohnaka?"
Ezra looked over at her in confusion. "You know this guy?
Gwen shrugged. "I have heard of him from one of my stepmom's Imperial files." She explained, the two of them lowering their weapons. "He aided the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars."
Ezra looked over towards Hondo and back to Gwen. "So, he's a good guy?"
"Well, he was like an on-and-off ally to the Republic from what I remember," Gwen explained, gesturing to Hondo. "This guy's a pirate. Well, was a pirate until the Empire killed his men."
"Ah, yes," Hondo said with sorrow as he looked off to the stars, removing his hat to remember his men. Then he just as quickly turned back around and faced them. "So, you had heard of me."
"Yeah, and I have to say... you've got to be the best pirate I've ever heard of," Gwen admitted. "Even without a crew, managing to escape the Empire this long?"
"Ah, yes," Hondo said with a nod. "Well, I'm the proud owner of this fine but currently inoperative vessel."
"Where's Vizago? This is his ship." Ezra commented.
"Ah, you know Vizago?" Hondo asked. "Well, then we have a mutual friend. Yes, it was his ship. But we were enjoying a friendly game of sabacc, and... Well, now it is my ship."
"Vizago bet his ship?" Ezra asks.
"Right after his droids, which are now also mine," Hondo said, revealing a remote in his pocket. "Watch. I turn them on." He activated the droids, getting the two to react and face the droids. "I turn them off." He then shut them down. "I love that."
"Yeah, okay, I guess that could happen," Ezra said, showing Gwen that he seemed okay lowering their weapons.
"You know about me, but who are you?" Hondo asked the two of them.
"I'm... Lando Calrissian." Ezra answered, looking over towards Gwen. "And this is..."
"Ghost Spider," Gwen answered, going with her code name from Lothal.
"Ah, Lando! So at last I meet the semi-famous Lando Calrissian and a member of his fine crew!" Hondo said, looking between the two. "You are... A tad younger than I pictured, but to be so young and flying to my rescue proves that you must be the scoundrel I have heard of."
"Yeah. I mean, I am pretty good." Ezra kept the persona.
"He's pretty good," Lando repeated with a laugh. "Are you looking for a few others for your crew? Good news. Hondo is hiring."
"Uh, I already have a crew," Ezra said as he looked to the doorway. "Speaking of, where are they?"
"So, your whole crew was taken by the Empire?" Gwen asks, leaping to dangle on the end of the chair.
"I once was a captain. Oh, the stories I could tell." Hondo said as he looked out to the stars. "So many of them true."
Then they looked out and noticed a Destroyer was closing in on them. "Uh, yeah, you want to tell a story?" Ezra asked as he quickly ran to the controls. "Tell one to the Empire while I try to get the power back on."
Hondo tapped a button, waiting for a response. "Hello? How can we help you?"
"Attention, transport. You have breached an Imperial checkpoint."
"Hyperspace would be good!" Hondo tells him.
"Think I got it!" Ezra said. "We just need power."
"I got this one!" Gwen leaped onto the controls, channeling energy into her fist, causing Hondo to laugh.
Gwen punched the controls, causing power to come back online. That was when Chopper came rolling in with Quill right behind him. "Guys! We've got... who's this guy?"
"We'll explain later!" Gwen cried. "Chopper, jump us!"
Chopper quickly got to the controls and began to charge up the Horn for a jump.
"Well, Lando, it looks like we are off on an adventure!" Hondo said as the ship jumped into Hyperspace. "It is as if we were in each other's heads. We only just met, and we already make a remarkable team."
"Yeah, but we're not," Ezra commented.
Hondo laughs. "Not yet, perhaps." He then seemed to be thinking of something. "You know, I could use you for a job. A little trade, that is all. You know, I am an old man. I just need help pushing a few crates."
"Crates of what?" Gwen wonders.
"Yeah, he's got a whole container of power generators," Quill informed them
Chopper jumped in, showing a hologram of the crates they found.
"Power generators? That's what you're smuggling?" Ezra asked Hondo in surprise.
"These are pretty hard to get these days, old man," Gwen informed him.
"Expensive, too." Quill brought in.
"You're right," Hondo confirmed. "Which is why we will sell them at a fair markup. Five hundred percent."
"Okay, we will help you, but you give us our cut in power generators," Ezra bargained, seeing they needed them more than credits. "Three crates."
"All right. Two crates and you have a deal." Hondo tells him.
"Two. And we split the profit of the third." Ezra stated.
Hondo considered it and nodded. "Deal." He shook his hand. "The way you strike a bargain, you remind me of a great pirate I know." Ezra sneaked the remote to control the droids. "Me! Ha! Now, let's go split up the merchandise."
Then Hondo walked out of the room, leaving the three of them behind. "What the hell just happened?" Quill asks.
"The guy is a pirate, no friend to the Empire," Gwen caught him up.
Ezra then tossed the remote to Chopper. "Look, this could come in handy if he gives us trouble. Hang on to it, Chop."
"You expecting trouble?" Gwen asks.
"At this point?" Ezra asked sarcastically. "Always."
The Horn was brought into a landing at some spaceport and they brought out the crates. Hondo walked forward with one of the crates, leaving the others behind.
"Gwen, you and Chopper should stay here in case we run into trouble," Ezra tells them.
BD chirped, reminding him that they were already are in trouble.
"I know we're already in trouble," Ezra exclaimed as he tapped his comms. "Just keep your comm channel open."
"Hurry it up, Lando! We are on a schedule!" Hondo called.
"Come on, Quill," Ezra said, pushing the crates ahead.
They made their way into another landing port, pushing the crates forward. "So, who is the buyer anyway?" Ezra asked.
That was a familiar face of Azmorigan who came out with a few of his crew. "All right. Where's Vizago?"
"Azmorigan," Ezra said in terror, closing his helmet.
"Oh, boy," Quill remembered their encounter with Lando and Azmorigan.
"Vizago is... disposed of, so to speak," Hondo said as he stepped forward. "Granting me the privilege of conducting business with you, O legendary one. Hondo Ohnaka at your service."
"Is this a joke?" Azmorigan asked with a laugh. "I don't deal with washed-up old relics."
"Come now, let's leave your wife out of this," Hondo tells him. "There is no need for such impropriety among thieves. I am certain we can reach an accord."
"Huh. I'm certain we can." Azmorigan said, summoning his men hiding behind several crates, causing Quill to reach for his blasters and aim at the men coming from all directions.
"Who shoots first? I shoot first, or let them shoot first?" Quill asks.
"Lower your blasters, or you will all die," Azmorigan said.
Quill sighed and lowered his guns.
"Hmm? That was easy." Hondo commented as they were led off.
"Nice going, partner," Ezra said sarcastically, reaching down and activating his comm. "Looks like you got us captured. It would be nice if we had some backup!"
Gwen heard him and knew that was their cue to go in. "That's our cue, guys."
Chopper grunted, giving a salute as Gwen jumped on the crate and turned invisible. Luckily her training has made it easier for her to keep herself invisible. BD leaped on top of Chopper and was preparing himself to charge.
Back with the others, they were cuffed and placed on a platform. "Uh, just a thought, but why don't we just call it even and go through with the original deal? Sounds good, yes?"
Azmorigan chuckled, cradling the crate full of credits. "I appreciate your offer, humbly, but I don't think you're gonna be around to collect."
Then a platform leading to the death of space dragged over towards them, revealing that they planned to launch them into space. "Azmorigan, take the fruits of our labor, if you must. That I understand." Hondo stated. "But this? Is it necessary?"
"Oh, yes," Azmorigan stated. "You see, the Rang Clan has a nice bounty on your head. I'll collect on these generators and make an additional profit from your death."
"Your business plan is impressive," Hondo commented. "Of course, it is. It's mine." Then he eyed the two. "Uh, Who is this?"
"Hey," Ezra said as one of them removed his helmet.
"I know you from somewhere." Azmorigan seemed to recognize the two, even without Quill removing his mask. That was when it clicked. "Calrissian's farm on Lothal!"
"Well, of course, you know him," Hondo said. "This is my longtime friend, Lando Calrissian."
"What?" Azmorigan asked, looking over to Ezra and Quill. "No, he's not Calrissian!"
"You lied to me?" Hondo asked Ezra seeming hurt but then laughed. "I knew I liked you!"
"Uh, you robbed me!" Azmorigan stated as he pointed to Quill and Ezra.
"But did we?" Quill asked. "I mean, the whole Twi'lek thing, sure, but that was more Lando than us. It was just a job."
"Oh, I will enjoy this." Azmorigan seemed to not care. "I get to collect on Ohnaka, I get to kill you two, and I get to keep the five generators! All of them, five crates!" Then he looked over towards the crates and counted only four. "Wait. There are only four crates here? You were supposed to bring me five."
"Well, the droids and the girl had the fifth crate." Hondo shrugged.
Azmorigan was confused when he heard that. "Droids? Girl?"
At that moment, Chopper came in with the crate at full speed with BD on his head. Gwen then leaped forward before the crates could hit one another, sending them flying as well as the armed gunmen. She then landed, revealing herself, quickly zapping one of the armed troops.
"Blast them!" Azmorigan cried.
Ezra tripped one of the armed men onto their platform.
"See ya!" Quill cried, using his chin to send the troop flying out into space.
Then Azmorigan opened fire on them. "Die, Hondo Ohnaka!"
The three of them quickly hid behind the crates to get a plan. "So, what's the plan?"
"I don't really know," Ezra admitted when one troop tried to shoot them. He quickly leaped and used his legs to try and block the blast with his cuffs. "Hey, get my blaster!"
"Working on it!" Gwen cried as she zapped one of Azmorigan's guards with her Venom Blast, and grabbed Ezra's blaster. "Got it!"
Gwen then throws his blaster at Ezra and caught. He then shot Quill and Hondo's cuffs and got them free. Quill grabbed his blasters and started to open fire, getting them a chance to fight back. BD chirped as he leaped onto the controls for the platforms, beginning to mess with them, sending the platforms flying around, smacking into several of the troops, and giving the crew openings to fight and shoot them down.
Chopper zipped around with the blasters of the men he shot down, chasing Azmorigan, making him retreat towards his ship. As he did so, Hondo fell onto one of the platforms BD was controlling. That was when the last of the troops shot at BD before he leaped off and Gwen zapped the troop. The electricity flying into the controls and causing them to malfunction sending Hondo flying off into space.
On the way, Azmorigan dropped the credits and Hondo caught them with glee. "I'm rich!" Then he saw what was about to happen. "I'm dead!"
Ezra quickly reacted as he used the Force to try and save Hondo from the death of space. He managed to save Hondo before he flew off and Azmorigan flew off in his own ship, leaving them behind.
"Well, that was a normal transaction for me," Quill quipped, putting his blasters away.
"My friend, my friend," Hondo said as he approached them. "You might not be Calrissian, but I know one thing you are... You are a Jedi." He seemed to have put it together. "Why didn't you tell me you were a Jedi? You know, I am an old Jedi sympathizer. I know. I wouldn't believe me either, but one of my best friends was a Jedi." He then muttered to himself. "I'm pretty sure we were friends."
"Well, I'm not really a Jedi yet," Ezra commented.
"Well, then be a pirate Jedi! We will make an excellent team." Hondo said. "You, me, and your ghost friend. But first, tell me, what is your name? Your real names."
"Ezra Bridger." Ezra introduced himself.
"Gwen Stacy," Gwen said.
"Peter Quill." Quill introduced himself.
"Thank you, my friends," Hondo tells them as they begin to head back to the ship.
"Well, you must have many responsibilities, yes?" Hondo asked as they headed back through the ship.
"Yeah, too many at the moment," Ezra said.
"Well, then join my crew, and I will split it right down the middle, fifty-forty," Hondo tells them. "You won't get a better deal than that, especially from me."
"Wait, that's only 90%," Gwen commented. "What about the other 10?"
"Oh, you want me to spend that on expenses, trust me," Hondo tells them.
"Okay, well, how about 0% for me? I want the generators." Ezra tells him. "All of them."
"You have a deal, partner! Ah! This makes me happy! You get the generators, and I get you two for my crew." Hondo stated. "It is good. Let us celebrate! Droid, droid! Go to the galley and bring me the most expensive drink you can and something for my friends."
"I got my own crew who is likely worried for me," Quill tells him. "I better try and contact them."
"Uh, yeah, I think I'll go with them," Ezra said.
"I'll go make sure we are on course," Gwen said, walking to the controls with BD.
"Of course, partners," Hondo tells them. "Don't forget yours!"
"I don't know what just happened," Ezra said as they roamed the halls. "Di- Did I just join his crew?"
Chopper wondered if he wanted to leave.
"No, no, I don't want to leave the Ghost," Ezra stated. "I- I mean, not really. Maybe I would make a pretty good pirate. Inquisitors don't hunt them, do they?"
"Eh, no, but you get a lot more bounty hunters," Quill shrugged.
Then they heard banging.
"What is that?" Ezra wonders.
They followed the banging to the brig of the ship and were shocked by who they saw inside.
"Vizago!" Quill called.
"You? What are you doing here?" Vizago asked the two.
"I-I Wait, Hondo told me you lost your ship in a bet," Ezra commented.
Oh! And you believed that swindler? By the moons of Gozgo, you are hopelessly gullible!" Vizago scoffed.
"Hey, I'm not the one who got locked in his own brig," Ezra commented.
"He shot me in the back with a stunner, eh, disabled my droids somehow," Vizago explained how this happened.
"Probably with this," Ezra said, having Chopper show the remote.
"You must help me reclaim the Horn," Vizago tells them.
"Sorry, but I've got other things to worry about," Ezra stated.
"You owe me, remember?" Vizago tells Quill. "I am calling in that favor Now."
Chopper then reminded Ezra what he said in the Phantom.
"I know what I said earlier, Chop." Ezra sighed and knew he couldn't leave him. "Okay, I'll get you your ship, and then we're all even."
"Fine with me." Vizago shrugged.
Chopper then cut open the locks, allowing him to be freed.
"Chopper, get the generators onboard the Phantom," Ezra tells him.
"My generators?" Vizago asks.
"No, my generators." Ezra corrected him. "Now, come along and behave."
The three of them then walked towards the controls where Gwen was piloting them through Hyperspace with Hondo at the controls. Ezra walked in first with Quill and Vizago right behind them.
"I think you two know each other," Ezra stated, getting Vizago and Gwen to see them.
"Partner, how could you let this dangerous criminal out of the brig?" Hondo asks in shock.
"Vizago?" Gwen guessed.
"Save it, partner," Ezra tells Hondo as he steps forward, missing Vizago sneak the remote. "Let's all relax. We take the generators. You two split Azmorigan's credits. Everyone wins."
"That is a fair deal," Hondo commented. "And it disgusts me."
"For once, I agree," Vizago said, revealing the remote and activating it. "Care to hear my counter-offer?"
Vizago then backed off as the droids began to attack the intruders. Quill drew his mask and blasters, opening fire. Ezra drew his lightsaber, while Gwen charged her fist with electricity. BD chirped and jumped onto Gwen. Hondo drew a blaster and the group began to work together to try and fight back against the droids. Gwen zapped one with electricity and it landed on Vizago.
Quill went forward, shooting stun shots to shock the droid, punching it to then knock it out.
Hondo saw an opening and went for the grate on the floor. "Excellent work! I will invest your share wisely."
"Thanks a lot, partner!" Gwen cried sarcastically, wrestling with a robot.
"Keep them occupied," Vizago said, getting the droid off as more of them entered.
Gwen however worked fast as she webbed the remote and shut them down as Vizago left them. Then BD chirped, warning there is a distress signal from Chopper.
"What could have possibly gone wrong now?" Ezra asks in anger.
Chopper was being pushed out of the Phantom by Hondo as he planned to take the Phantom. "I'm sorry, very sorry, but I do not work with droids."
And with that, he escaped right before the four of them could reach the ship.
"Well, looks like you got your ship back, as promised," Gwen commented.
"Yes, but I lost all my credits and my generators!" Vizago cried in anger.
"Eh, technically, they were my generators." Ezra reminded him with a sheepish smile.
Vizago placed them all in an escape pod, wanting them off his ship, aiming them back to Garel.
"I am starting to really hate Avengers," Vizago commented, pushing the button and sending them off.
"Not sure how we're gonna explain all this," Gwen commented with a sigh. "Should we tell them the truth or say we got robbed?"
Chopper then grunted, getting their attention as he assigned coordinates for them to land close to the ship.
"What do you mean you know where Hondo will be?" Ezra asks.
"Huh?" Quill asks.
"Well, wait. I'm not done. Then he let Vizago out!" Hondo was explaining everything to the Ghost crew as they had returned and were all questioning who he was and why he was found in the Phantom. "The villain was upon us, I'm telling you! But young Ezra, he stood tall in front of me and withstood a massive atta..." That was when they returned and walked up the platform and saw them. "My friend! I was just talking about you. How you and I rescued the generators from the evil Vizago."
"Yeah, that's not true." Gwen scoffed, giving him a shove.
"You stole the generators and my ship," Ezra stated.
Hondo gasped. "What an accusation! You wound me!"
"Chopper had the Phantom on autopilot," Quill explained.
"Well, that's another version of the story, I suppose," Hondo said, seeing his game was up. "I'll tell you what. You can keep my generators. They are my gift to you." He then started to try and leave. "Goodbye!
"Oh, no," Quill said, walking over and grabbing Hondo. "You have a bit of a debt to pay off for all you put us through."
"Oh, of course! I am sure we can work something out!" Hondo said.
"Come with me, I wanna introduce you to my crew," Quill said, dragging Hondo off towards the Falcon.
"Well, that's a pirate's life for me," Gwen said with a sigh.
"Contact Commander Sato. Tell him Ezra Bridger and Gwen Stacy found his generators." Hera tells the team.
"So, you went for a little joy ride?" Peter asked Gwen.
"I was just trying to clear my head," Gwen surged.
"And did you?" Peter asks.
"I used to be on the sidelines, just someone who watched the terrors of the galaxy from the safety of the Empire. Seeing all of these dangers makes me understand what we are fighting for," Gwen explained what she discovered. "And I have you and them to thank for it."
Peter nodded. "I might have been pushing your training a bit too hard, I will admit. I promise to try and slow down a little more."
"Thanks," Gwen said, walking away.
As she left him, Peter felt his coms going off, showing it was Yelena and Andor. "Hey, what's up, guys?"
"Peter, good, we were hoping to catch you..." Yelena said with relief. "We discovered something here on Lothal."
"What is it?" Peter asks.
"Those Mutants? We discovered where they are being held." Andor reported to him.
Peter froze when he heard that. They discovered where the Empire was producing these mutants? This was the chance he was waiting for to maybe find them and free these captive people before they turn into monsters like the Mudhorn/Rhino guy that almost killed him and Gwen when he fought and was almost killed by Vader.
He wasn't going to let anyone sense turn into monsters like that.
