(A/N): Hey Guys! So it's been a little while- shorter than usual though- and while I've been back at school i've been both very busy and very bored, so I have a couple new chapters to upload- some of them long, and some of them not so much. :P
Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.

I led Elaine through the courtyard where Brooke and I had our talk, and I could see her hesitating.
"Why did Brooke say you were being stupid?" I winced, then shrugged.
"Because I did something she didn't agree with." I told her softly, not wanting to tell her I had recently killed four people.
"And what was that?" She asked, sounding concerned as to what the answer would be.
"I obeyed natural instinct." I explained cryptically, and she paused for a second, then nodded.
"Alright. Alright, I'm not going to push it. You're good enough for me not to worry about it too much." I smiled, somewhat sadly, and draped an arm around her shoulders.
"See, this is why I love you." I murmured, dropping a kiss into her hair as she snuggled into my side.
"Yeah, sure, this is why." I chuckled lightly, taking her hand in my free one.
"Well, it's a bit of everything, really." I couldn't help but grin as she tried to stifle a giggle.
"Love you too." She whispered, knowing I'd hear it pretty much no matter what.
"You're cute." I tried not to coo it, I really did. "Like, very, very, extremely cute." I felt her blush, and she tossed her hair into her face in an attempt to hide it.
"Stop it you arse." She said good naturedly, and I reached out and swept her hair back with the hand that had been at her shoulder.
"There." I said, stroking her cheek lightly as we came to a stop. "Much better." She leaned up and gave me a peck on the mouth.
"You do realise if you keep doing this, I'm going to have a heart attack, right?" I rolled my eyes at her playfully before beaming.
"I can hear your heart, remember? I don't miss a beat." She laughed at that, and I gripped her chin between my thumb and forefinger. "I cannot believe how cute you are right now." She blushed even brighter, trying to bite her lip but having trouble due to the smile she wore.
"You're so freaking corny." Was all she said, placing her arms around my neck with some difficulty.
"Better?" I asked, ducking so I was the same height as her.
"Better." She agreed, jumping up so I had to catch her around the waist.
"Rude." I joked, and as I opened my mouth to say something else, she cut me off with a kiss.
"Better?"
(A/N):
'Alright?'
'Alright.'
I'm sorry, but I'm not.
