(A/N): Hey Guys! So, I've had these chapters written down for a while, but I'm only just now getting around to typing it all up.
Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise!
Leo
I downed the vial of human blood Madam Pomfrey had given me before going to meet Greygorry for one of our training sessions.
"Morning, Leo." He greeted, stiffly, as usual, and I smiled slightly.
"Morning, Greygorry." I mimicked in return, taking a seat across from him, cross-legged.
"Are you ready for training?" He asked, a glint of something in his eyes.
"Am I ever?" I replied rhetorically, and let my eyes slip closed.
"Focus." His voice hissed, harsh against the soft breeze wafting through the creaking trees, against the bugs and birds that skittered and chirped in said trees, against the damp soil trailing between my fingertips.
"I am." I felt him roll his eyes.
Felt...
Wait, I felt that?
My eyebrows shot open, and he met them, looking somewhat annoyed.
"We don't have all day Leo, can we-" I cut him off, a grin bursting across my lips.
"I felt you roll your eyes!" At first, he was confused. "I felt you roll your eyes." I enunciated more slowly, and his eyes widened.
"That- That's-" He shook his head. "Impossible. Even other full vampires, much older than you, can't feel me move." I shrugged.
"But I did. I felt it." He watched me, clearly still sceptical.
"Did you do anything different today?" I immediately wanted to lie, but I knew he would feel it.
"I had a vial of human blood from Madam Pomfrey to keep my strength up." I admitted, and he cocked an eyebrow at me.
"Would you-" I shook my head.
"No. I only drink human blood to keep the urges down. I can't- no, I won't- harm humans just so I can be a little stronger." Greygorry narrowed his eyes at me.
"But it's not a little stronger, it's a lot stronger!" He protested, and I folded my arms over my chest.
"It's not worth it!" I exclaimed firmly, and he rolled his eyes.
"Did you ever think, Leonides, that maybe being so fucking moral will be your downfall?!" I jumped to my feet, staring down at him.
"Did you ever think, Greygorry, that maybe strength isn't everything?"
(A/N): So, what did you think?
