Chapter 31 Race

Next day all the heroes were called to the throne room to receive they're pay, Noafumi had his party with him.
On his throne, King Aultcray spoke:"Thank you all for coming. As a reward for his effort during the wave as well me giving support for a swift recovery, Master Motoyasu will receive 4000 silvers. And masters Itsuki and Ren will receive 3800 silvers. I've also set aside 500 silvers for the shield Hero. But the Shield Hero will have to pay fees for the rematch and injuries on Motoyasu so he won't receive any pay."
"Oh bullshit."Jin said.
"That's not fair."Itsuki said.
"That's right, Naofumi's party was the one that defeated the Chimera and they had they defended that village not the knights."Ren said.
"Plus rematch and medical fees, the rematch would have never happened if Myne didn't attack him."Itsuki said.
"Thank you!"Mitsuki said.
"I was supporting of the shield hero's cheating."Myne said.
"Will you ever shut up, everybody saw what you did, so either shut up or tell the actual truth."Jin said making her angry while he high fives Naofumi and Hitoshi said.
King grunts and said:"Fine, he'll get the 500."
"No, more."Shun said."Because I don't know where your smoking but no way are we worse than the other guys when we were the ones that killed the boss."
"I agree."Ren said.
King got making the Shield hero partu chuckle."Fine, 3800!"
"There, that's better."Jin said.
"We got the sucker."Wendy whispers to Kathy who nodded.
Naofumi takes the money and smiles.
"Come on guys, let's not get this trash trying to get under our skin."Jin said making the King and Malty angry.
"I agree master Naofumi."Raphtalia said.
"Okay, let's go guys."Naofumi said and he was happy that they were sticking up for him.
They went out and they went to check that slave trader guy, they checked the ink there and Naofumi got a new shield slave user shield.
"Well, interesting."Naofumi said.
Jin then noticed a bunch of eggs on a table."Hey that's?"
"Oh that is the monster egg lotery, for 100 silver you'll get a Filolial or even a dragon if your lucky."Slaver merchant said.
"Well we received so much so why not."Jin said.
Jin and Naofumi did rock, paper, scissors to see who goes first and Naofumi won with paper.
"Thank you Naofumi."Jin said and Naofumi goes foward buying the first egg while Jin the second.
Jin and the guys waited outside of a magic shop and Jin was looking at his egg.
"Do you think you'll get a dragon?"Shun asked.
"I have Dragredder, but it could not be too bad having a second one."Jin said.
Then Naofumi came out with a grimoire.
"You got it."Mitsuki said.
"Yeah, looks like we'll have to understand it's language since I don't know how to say it."Naofumi said and noticed Poppy was gone."Where's Poppy?"
They looked around and they saw her with a egg."Little birdy, little birdy."
"Did she go back to get an egg?"Mitsuki said and they were stunned.
Poppy spins around becoming Sydney."Sorry, she wanted her own."
Next day
The group all watch the eggs before they all hatched, Naofumi got a Filolial with blue eyes, Poppy's had pink eyes and Jin got a red baby dragon.
"Fiyo!"Naofumi's Filolial goes to his head being happy.
Raphtalia chuckles and said:"It imprinted on you, she thinks your her mama."
"Yay!"Poppy was hugging her filolial.
Jin's dragon was on his shoulder."Well what are going to name them?"
"How about Filo."Naofumi said.
"Wow, so creative."Iris said with sarcasm.
"Yes."They heard a womans voice and they looked to see Mary Talish.
"Mary Talish!"Iris got shocked to see her.
"You know her?"Shun said.
"Yes, she's a SCP."Iris said.
"Yes, Shun she's also one, Iris SCP 105."Mary said.
"What?"Naofumi got confused.
"Long story."Shun said and he looks at Mitsuki."Did you meet SCP foundation?"
Mitsuki got confused and shook his head."No, the weird thing that happened was..."He grunts."Bobble."
"Bobble the clown!"The two girls got shocked.
"You fought him?"Iris said.
"Yeah, I stopped that clown a long time ago."Mitsuki said with a frown."Anyway, who are calling the others?"
"Pinky."Poppy said lifting her bird up.
"Crimson I guess."Jin said."Hey Naofumi try putting the egg shells in your shield."
"Good idea."Naofumi does that.
He then got the Monster User Shield, Monster Egg Shield and Monster User Shield II.
"Hey new shields."Iris said.
"Well let's get to raising these little guys."Jin said.
They then helped raise them and they grew fast surprising everyone, they were back at the village of Lute inside a stable with Filo and Pinky looking like Chocobos and Crimson was now more a teen dragon.
"Well they all grew fast."Naofumi said.
"Yes, it's nice to see them all healthy."Raphtalia said.
Shun looks outside and sighs."Guys, trouble."They all looked to see a group of knights there.
Malty was in the middle of the village with Motoyasu and she opens a scroll."In light of his exploits during the last wave, the spear hero Sir Motoyasu has been assigned as ruling lord of this region."Motoyasu smiles."To help the rebuilding efforts, we decided to levy a toll. This toll will be 50 silvers to enter the village and 50 to exit it."
This frightened the crowd with how ridiculously expensive that toll will be.
"But that will ruin us."
"We won't have enough to buy food."
The villagers continued to complain about the toll, but Malty only got mad by their disobedience."You dare defy your lord's orders? You should be respecting your heroes that saved your low life village or you will be punished."She threatens them with Motoyasu just grinning happily with the fact that he will actually become a lord of his own land.
"Wow what idiots."They saw Naofumi's group.
"The shield hero? What are you doing here this is Lord Motoyasu so leave no cheater!"She demanded.
"Kiss our ass."Jin said making her mad.
"Also Motoyasu do you know how much does it cost to stay here in one night at the inn?"Naofumi said.
"Well..."He thinks about it.
"One silver, your costing everyone the total of 50 nights for just leaving."Naofumi said.
"He's right."
"This is extortion."
"How dare you!"Malty said and the knights aimed crossbows at them people.
But then the girls jumped up and knocked they're weapons away and stood together.
"You think you can do what you want, you spoiled little brat."Iris said.
"Don't you know who I am?!"She said.
"Of course, I just said it, a spoiled little brat."Iris said.
Then many women wearing dark cloaks came and they said:"I think you know who we represent princess."They had a scroll and Jin saw that.
"Hey what's that?"Jin said.
"It's a message from the queen."She said.
Malty goes to take it but Jin snatches it."Let me see."That made Malty irritated.
Jin reads it before he laughs."Naofumi, the queen made you the lord of this place."
Naofumi blinks and said:"Really?"
"Yeah, it's her way of saying sorry for you know who."Jin points at Malty.
"Well..."Noafumi thinks about it.
"That's great."Raphtalia said.
"Shield Hero, we challenge you for the right of this land!"Malty said.
"And what do I gain?"Naofumi said.
"This land."She said.
"Idiots, what kind of a deal is that, Naofumi owns this place."Kathy said.
"Yes, so no."Naofumi sees the knights wanting to fight.
"Your going against a order from your queen?"Mitsuki smirks making them worried as they look at the shadows.
Malty grunts since they know they have the right of this land."Then I'll bet all the money we have."
The group looked at each other and huddled together.
"What do you think?"Naofumi asked.
"Welll if we get her money we can spend it all fixing this place, since no way that spoiled brat is poor."Jin said.
"You really hate don't you?"Raphtalia said.
"I met two girls that she would be a fusion of them and still be worse!"Jin was mad surprising them.
"Oh yeah Chloe and Lila."Iris said.
"They are the worse."Hitoshi said.
"Okay."Naofumi said."We'll do it, then we'll spend it all to fix this place."
"Thank you Shield Hero."The people cheered.
"Fine, but it will be a race against lord Motoyasu."Malty said.
"A race?"Naofomi said.
"Yes, I have a dragon what do you have?"Motoyasu said.
"I also have a dragon genius."Jin said shocking him.
"Also."Mitsuki goes up to Naofumi and whispers:"I know they're going to cheat so I'll have get Filo and Pinky with us."
Mitsuki puts on the driver and takes out a gashat.
BAKUSOU BIKE!
"Henshin."He inserts the gashat.
GASHAT! LET'S GAME! METCHA GAME! MUTCHA GAME! WHAT'S YOUR NAME?! I'M A KAMEN RIDER!
He changes into Lazer level 1.
Malty laughs and said:"What are you going to do with that?"
"Wait."Motoyasu got shocked."T-That's a Kamen Rider form."
"A what?"Malty got confused.
"Level 2 gear."Lazer pulls the lever.
GACHAN! LEVEL UP! BAKUSOU DOKUSOY GEKISOU BOUSOU BAKUSOU BIKE!
He changes to level 2 and said:"I'll be working with Naofumi."
Naofumi smiles and gets on."So how about we start."
They then got ready with the race, Motoyasu was on his dragon and Naofumi was next to him with Lazer.
"Go!"They raced with Naofumi going first.
"What, how is he that fast?!"Motoyasu said.
"Did you forget, Kamen Riders to the impossible."Naofumi smiles.
A few Knights were in the distance."The shield hero is coming."
They made a spell that made a hole and Lazer saw that.
"Like that will work."Lazer jumps over it surprising them.
But then Filo and Pinky came towards the knights knocking them down.
Iris and Hitoshi were ridding them, they smirk at each other before they went fast.
They then started to attack all the knights that were hidding making sure no one cheated.
Naofumi and Lazer were going foward and Motoyasu was behind them.
"We're almost there."Naofumi said.
"Then full speed!"Lazer said and they went faster going past the finish line.
Motoyasu was shocked."How?"
"No way, you must have cheated."Malty said.
Iris and Hitoshi came back and they got surprised to see Filo and Pinky grew bigger.
"Wow, they grew."Naofumi said.
"They must have cheated."Malty points at Iris and Hitoshi.
"No, we stopped your cheating."Iris said.
"I have no idea what your talking about."She said.
But then they dumped the knights in front of her who were tied up surprising the princess.
"We found hidding behind many places trying to do spells."Hitoshi said.
Shadows came back."They're right, we sensed magic that could only be from them."
"Fine, but this isn't over."Malty said.
"Remember, I let you win."Motoyasu said but then Pinky kicks him away in the crotch.
"Lord Motoyasu!"Malty said.
The guys laughed at that with some of the girls chuckling.
Then the people of the village went up to them.
"Thank you Lord Naofumi."Elder said."There must be something we can give you as a reward."
"Well..."Naofumi looks at the wagon."How about that wagon?"
"Really?"Jin said.
"Yeah, I guess you guys wouldn't like if I were to ask them for money, still..."Naofumi shows the bag of money they won."The bitch was loaded."
"Hey."The guys smiled at him.
Later they travel foward with the wagon being pulled by Filo and Pinky while Crimson follows them, then night and they decided to take a rest.
Next day
When they woke up they got surprised to see two little girls, one with blonde hair and wings the scond had pink hair with a cover around them.
"Hello master."She smiles at Naofumi.
They got surprised and said:"Filo! Pinky!"
Note: Here's the race and of course Poppy got herself a Filolial.
