Chapter 35 Meeting with the King

After the wave the group was summoned by the king, the young knight begged them to come so they just had to go.
They were at the throne room with the king looking at a crystal orb of a helper.
"I've been watching the Wave attack and I hate to say it but you've done some good action there."King said.
Naofumi just thinks to himself: You have a stupid way of saying thank you.
"But I must know, the way you've gotten stronger is Impossible for the shield hero, so tell me your secrets and don't even try to lie to me."King said.
Naofumi points down and said:"How about you kneel down and beg?"
The guys of his group chuckled at that.
The King got mad and his knights were around them but Shun looks at them.
"Did you forget who defeated the last two bosses."He said making them scared.
"I demand to know how you've gotten stronger, along with that suit of armor you and the others of your party used!"King said."You have unfair advantage to the other heroes so you must give them armors, so surrender yours."
"Not gonna happen."Jin said."You don't care about being fair, you only have greed for our powers, the power of a kamen rider is a instrument of justice not tools of war."
The king got angry and he noticed Rino."I remember you from the champion choosing, and I recall you chose to be with the spear hero, so why are you with this criminal?"
"I didn't leave his party by choice, he left me to die after Myne sold me to slavery."She said."If it wasn't for Shun I wouldn't have been here and Naofumi gave me a chance."
"I see, as I suspected the Shield devil has lied to you and is trying to take control of you. How low of him."The king said.
The group got angry and Rino got surprised."What?! Didn't you hear what I said, Naofumi's party didn't do anything."
"You poor thing, it seems he tricked you and is trying to corrupt your mind with his lies."He said.
"No it's the truth!"She yells at him surprising the king."I was there, Malty did that, I saw with my own two eyes, so don't tell me that I imagined it!"
"I know it might be scary to not want to be straight in front of him. But I can help free you-"
"I don't need help! I'm happy with them, and theres nothing you can say that I'm not! Your just being biased against Naofumi like what you did in his trail and duel!"She said.
The knights and court got shocked but Naofumi got surprised.
"I'm trying to help you."King said.
"I don't need help! If that's how you act then this kingdom is doom, if you and that bitch are calling the shots!"She said.
"How dare you?!"He got angry.
"I dare just fine."She crosses her arms.
"Nice."Iris high fives her.
"Well if we're done we are going."Mitsuki said.
"Not until you give those armors to the three heroes along with the rest of yours."King said.
"Not going to happen, as we told you they're not tools of war."Shun said and they started to leave.
The King thinks of something and said:"Then I'll have those girls be taken and sold off as slaves."
Naofumi glares at him making him scared."If you dare touch any of my party members, I will chase after you and make you beg to be killed."
They then left the castle and Jin said:"If that guy even tries anything I'm so going to kick him."
"Got that right, I hope he likes a pedigree."Hitoshi said.
"Guys."Iris goes in between them."Let's just go, the church here won't let us get class upgrades so how about we go to Shieldfreeden."
"Why not Siltvelt?"Naofumi said.
"Erhard told me that place is better for us, they accept both human and demi humans, with most of us being human it's safer there."Iris said.
"Well okay."He said.
The group went out with the wagon being pulled.
"You know we gotta get you a rider machine."Jin looks at Naofumi.
"Well that would be cool having one."Naofumi said.
"Also, who's your favorite rider?"Mitsuki asked.
"Ichigo of course."He smiles.
"Oh, your a classic guy, I can respect that."Shun said.
"Shield hero."They saw Melty go up to them with a group of knights behind her."Please there must be something that can make amends between you and my father."
"No way."Noafumi said surprising her.
"Naofumi."Raphtalia said.
Melty stares at him and Naofumi saw tears coming out of her eyes, he sighs and Jin takes over."Look the king was demanding us to give up our rider powers, he got greedy so it shows we can't talk to him."
Wendy then saw something and said:"Look out!"
Naofumi sees a knight attacking Melty so he blocks the sword with his shield.
Hitoshi punches the guy making him grunt before the others took out the teigus and weapons knocking each of the knights down.
"What's they're deal?"Kathy said.
"Why would they tried to kill the princess?"Iris said.
Poppy checks one of them and saw a pendant revealing the symbol of the church.
"Your kidding me."Mitsuki said."They're behind this."
"Which means that the sister must have something to do with it."Jin said.
"You don't what your talking about."A knight said.
Jin then takes out a note from the guy's pocket scaring him, he then reads it and said:"Isn't this Malty's handwritting?"He shows it to Melty.
She got shocked since it said to kill her, she nodded.
"Well... Attempted murder."Jin takes out his morpher along with Mari, Juleka, Hitoshi and Iris."Too bad."He then traps them inside the cards making them grunt before sending them to the SPD jail.
"Naofumi we can't let Melty go back, this is dangerous for her."Shun said.
Naofumi looks at his party and Jin said:"What would a Kamen Rider do?"
Naofumi thinks about it, he then remembers how Ichigo would save others in need."Fine, where should we go?"
"We should go see my mother, she would know."Melty said.
"Well that's simple enough, after all she did give you the village."Mitsuki said.
"Okay let's go."Wendy said.
"Go go go."Poppy said.
The group then went together and went towards to see the queen, Naofumi doesn't like to be meeting the mother of Malty but it's what a Kamen Rider would do.
