A/N: I took some liberties in the time it would take for certain procedures to take place.
A/N 2: The reason this Chapter was delayed is because I had to spend an abhorrent amount of time researching stuff; specifically where in the SVU world is the ME Department located (Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego… was playing in my head as I researched this stuff) Generally speaking I believed, and the laws in most of the real world, dictate that the ME department is located off sight, away from any precinct or 1PP, on its own in a separate location. And I can CLEARLY recall seeing the sign on a building for the ME Department in more recent seasons of SVU, which indicates to me that they traveled to it. Makes sense right? However then my detail obsessed brain remembered an episode such as Shattered from season 11, and it's also very clear in that episode that the ME Department is just downstairs in the basement of the 16th Precinct. So what's a girl to do? Long story long, FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS STORY THE MEDICAL DEPARTMENT IS LOCATED IN THE 16th PRECINCT. However please tell me with a comment or review where you believe the ME Department is located in the L World.
A/N 3: Happy Birthday Shelly, this one's for you!
Disclaimer: If you have a problem take it up with the boss, and that ain't me, that's DW.

Chapter 76
Medical Examiner's Office, 16th Precinct, The Following Day, July 2013
"A heart attack?" Olivia heard the words Melinda said but she couldn't quite comprehend them.
Melinda nodded, "Preliminary bloodwork shows the levels of…"
Olivia knew her friend was speaking but the words were washing over her, until she felt a hand squeeze her shoulder and bring her back to the present.
Elliot was standing behind her as she sat on one of the rolling stools in the morgue, supporting her every way he could.
After finding her Mother's cool lifeless body, she sat in her favourite chair in shock. She didn't remember texting Elliot, but next thing she knew he was there in her Mother's apartment. It was Elliot who called 9-1-1. It was Elliot who met the officer's at the door. It was Elliot who spoke to the paramedics. It was Elliot who got them back to their hotel.
The rest of their day was also a blur to her. She recalled talking to Dodds and Fin, but she had no recollection of what they said. She didn't sleep much that night, instead staring blankly up at the unfamiliar hotel ceiling.
"Liv? Honey?" Dr Melinda Warner called, her voice sounding far away.
Olivia shook her head, "I thought it would've been alcohol poisoning?"
She saw Melinda look over her shoulder at Elliot before responding, "Technically not all the tests are back yet, from my preliminary exam this was a massive coronary, but I don't believe any alcohol was involved-"
"She was piss drunk the night before," Olivia informed her, "I know they administered a breathalyzer and took her blood at the hospital after she had saved us from, from uh-"
Melinda nodded, "Okay I'll try to pull up those results, but I can tell you from the bloodwork that I have back from today she was 100% sober, not a drop in her system when she passed away."
Olivia was surprised. She always assumed her Mother would die from alcohol. Either toxicity, or she expected a call wanting her liver one day, that or some kind of alcohol related accident, and someone would find her at the bottom of a staircase.
"Well I suppose after 24 hours it'd be out of her system from the day before," Olivia tried to explain away the anomaly.
They were in the main morgue area, where the medical staff did the exams, it was empty aside from the three of them, and she looked at the other freezer doors.
"Have you done the Lewis autopsy yet?" she inquired.
"Ummm, again partially, but I really shouldn't be telling you about it, technically the investigation isn't closed," Melinda disclosed.
Olivia scoffed, "Hah why not? The killer is right there," she pointed at her Mother's covered body on one of the slabs in the room.
"Liv," Elliot whispered behind her and placed both hands on her tense shoulders.
"All I can tell you Olivia is that your Mother got him good, he bled out fairly quickly-"
"Not fast enough, he managed to empty his clip, shoot Jennifer," Olivia mumbled angrily.
Melinda nodded, "Yes sweetie, he had 1 shot that actually managed to hit one of the four other people in the room, but he didn't have the time or ability to turn that gun on you, Elliot, or the woman who saved your lives."
That statement seemed to take the steam out of the Captain.
"He's here though?" she asked in a smaller voice.
"Ye-yes…" Melinda nodded towards one of the freezer doors.
"Ca-can I see him?" Olivia inquired timidly.
Melinda didn't answer for a long minute, then finally she moved towards the wall of doors. She looked towards the only other people in the room at the time, and when neither stopped her she opened one of them, and slowly pulled out the monster of a man. His body was still covered by a sheet, and both people stood and approached him.
"Ready?" Melinda said.
They both nodded, so she rolled the sheet down to reveal half his upper body.
Olivia immediately noted how pale his skin was, and her eyes zeroed in on the gaping holes in his neck. It looked like her Mom didn't just stab him, but she twisted the knife, probably unknowingly causing the most pain and damage she could with their small kitchen knife. She realized her Mother represented that knife quite symbolically. Although both were small in nature, they were both capable of causing irreparable damage to other people.
"He can't hurt us, or anyone else ever again," Olivia stated out loud. The only thing she regretted was that she wasn't the one that got to finish him. She also knew the man holding her hand beside her was feeling the same way.
"You guys good?" Melinda questioned, when both officers nodded she pulled the sheet over his body and pushed him back into the cooler.
"This never happened," Melinda stated with a certain amount of authority.
They both nodded, "Of course," "Obviously," they responded at the same time.
"I'll let you know the results as soon as I complete your Mother's autopsy, but as I said, early results show no sign of injury, foul play, alcohol, drugs, just high levels of tests that indicate a catastrophic cardiac event," Melinda summarized.
Olivia looked back at the door Lewis was in, then to her Mother's sheet covered body on the exam table in the room.
"Can you just…" she trailed off knowing she was going to sound silly.
Both Melinda and Elliot were patient with her though.
"Can you keep them as far apart as possible? Just don't put them side by side in there please," she pointed back towards the cooler with her thumb.
Melinda understood what it was she was asking, and agreed without hesitation. Olivia didn't want her Mother laying next to the man that tormented and nearly killed them all.
"Anything else I can do for either of you?" Melinda inquired as they walked towards the elevators.
Both officers told her no, and thanked her for all her help.
"Back to the hotel?" Elliot asked as they stood together in the elevator, but Olivia surprised him when she pressed the button for SVU's floor.
"Actually there's a few things I wanted to grab from my office do you mind?"
"'Course not," Elliot tried to give her a small smile.
They travelled up to her floor, she was thankful it was late and there hopefully wouldn't be many people they'd have to dodge.
They got off the elevator and she nodded at the desk Sergeant as they walked by. She didn't see any Detectives at their desks, and they made a beeline to her office.
Olivia opened her office door and made her way over to her desk. She needed a couple files from her computer that she didn't have on her laptop. Neither of them were allowed back to work yet, but she was allowed to do administrative work, or work cold cases.
She quickly plugged in her USB stick and began the transfer of the documents she wanted, unfortunately she could not speed up the time it would take for those files to fill up the little USB drive.
There was a large stack of papers waiting in a tray on her desk that she knew needed her eyes and signature on them too, she carefully put them all in her work bag that she had hanging on a hook in her office.
"Sorry this is going to take a few minutes," Olivia sighed, crossing her arms over her chest as she sat in her office chair and leaned back, staring at another ceiling.
She felt his presence before she saw him, "Hey it's okay, and I know this is hard, but it's going to be okay too," Elliot started to say.
"There's nothing you can do right now about a lot of things, but you can try to relax because Baby B needs that from the both of us in this moment," Elliot expressed, coming to stand behind her.
He put his hands on her shoulders. No one had been able to recover any clothes from their apartment yet, so they had been left wearing the clothes Nick had graciously let them borrow. She was currently wearing a work shirt of his, but she had it tucked in to a pair of drawstring shorts, pulled as tight as they'd go. Definitely not one of her classier outfits but they were making do.
He pressed down and applied enough pressure that she couldn't refrain from letting out a rough exhale.
She sat up a bit straighter so that his hands had more space to work.
"Thank you," she muttered.
Elliot hummed in response as he continued to massage her shoulders.
"For everything," she whispered between them.
"Always," he replied.
Despite going through the same horrors as she had that night with Lewis, he had been a support for her every moment since they made it out alive.
Olivia looked around her office and couldn't help recalling how far they had come.
From the moment they met in that very room, she had been so angry that he had been placed in her unit with no say from her. How quickly that anger had dissipated into another feeling. She didn't even know what it was at the time, in hindsight she supposed it was lust.
She wasn't blind, he was a young attractive man, and he had no qualms about hiding his desire for her.
They had their first kiss down the hall in their little gym, and everything escalated from that moment. She wondered if she had more willpower, if they had never had that first kiss, if they would've ever pursued the feelings they both had, or if those feelings would've ever even developed.
She closed her eyes, and relaxed further into her office chair as more memories flooded her brain.
The cribs, the interrogation room, the roof, the squad room, her office; the couch, the desk, the very chair she was sitting on.
Elliot's hands were on her shoulders, massaging along her tense muscles, he hadn't tried to slip them inside her shirt, he hadn't done anything sexual.
"Oh," he paused as Olivia had grabbed his hands and pulled them down until her breasts filled his palms.
She pressed down so he understood what it was that she wanted. Even in her confused state, he still seemed to be able to read her mind, he knew her wants and needs.
Olivia exhaled, "Ye-yes," when his hands took over again, allowing her to drop hers back to the armrests. She squeezed the sides of her chair as he cupped her chest, massaging her sensitive flesh.
She reached up again, this time to unbutton the nuisance of a shirt she was wearing.
"Fuck," she heard Elliot mumble. She wasn't sure if it was from the view she was sure he was enjoying, or the way she was taking control, she knew he loved it when she did that too.
Olivia pulled both bra straps down to her elbows, "Move the bra out of the way," she ordered, needing to feel the skin from his hands on her chest. There was something about the way his rough, calloused hands felt on the smooth soft skin of her sensitive breasts.
"I-yes El," Olivia moaned, he was solely focused on massaging her chest and making it as pleasurable as possible. He ran his thumbs along the tips of both breasts, her nipples were already hard and distended. He circled the engorged buds a couple of times, before gripping them between both his thumbs and index fingers and giving her nipples a few firm tugs. She bucked in her seat.
Olivia reached up and grasped the back of his neck, yanking him down to her level.
"Again," she demanded before sealing their lips together.
She groaned into their kiss as her bottom half squirmed in her faux-leather seat.
"Mmmm mmmm," she grunted as their tongues duelled, and he continued to do as she requested.
Olivia used her free hand and reached down, easily slipping it into the drawstring shorts she was wearing.
She slid past her sensitive bundle of nerves and was instantly met with a pool of her juices.
"Ah ye-yes," she mumbled when they finally broke their kiss to catch their breath.
"Aw fuck this," Elliot grunted. He released his grip on her heaving bosom, he had felt her breathing increase, the more aroused she got.
He spun her chair around and dropped to his knees.
Not wasting a moment he gripped both sides of the flimsy shorts and yanked them down her legs.
Olivia gasped as the cool air hit her wet core.
Elliot grasped both her legs behind her calfs and pulled them apart. He kissed the inside of both her knees before sitting up straight.
He grabbed the armrests on the chair and yanked her as close to his body as possible. Her breasts which were eye level with him, had grown by a cup size at least, her areola and nipples were darker since being pregnant too.
Olivia's exclamation of his name was all he heard as his tongue swirled around her distended nub, before his lips sealed over it and he sucked it into his mouth.
"El-El-Ellllllllllllllll," Olivia moaned, her back arched in her chair.
"I-oh-fuck-myyyyyy-I," Olivia stuttered. She felt the barest brush of his teeth at the base of her sensitive bud, and he pulled his mouth back, letting his teeth slide along the length of her nipple.
Olivia panted as her distended tip finally slipped from his lips, her breast was shiny as he switched to the other one.
Just as he began to give it the same treatment, he placed a hand on her lower abdomen and slid it past the lip of her shorts.
Her whole body jerked as his thick fingers knocked her clit. He tapped his fingertips at her entrance, collecting her juices before pulling his hand back out.
He released her breast from his mouth long enough to taste her juices from his fingers.
"Mmmm," he moaned around his digits.
Olivia slumped in her chair with her hands clamped around the armrests, she was so on edge, she squeezed her legs together on either side of his body, and lifted her hips up.
"Pl-please," she whined, she felt like a live-wire or a bomb, just primed to go off, and only Elliot had the switch.
"I've got you," Elliot smiled at her before lowering his head back to her chest, and slipping his hand into her shorts again.
He moved slowly and with a purpose.
He stuck his tongue out and looked up at her, waiting until her eyes connected with his. He tried to make his tongue as firm as possible and swirled it around her rock hard nipple.
He watched as her whole body shook.
Next, he carefully located her swollen clit, making sure to rub up and down the side he knew would bring her the most pleasure.
Her hips were moving of their own accord, falling into rhythm with his hand. He switched breasts just as he replaced his fingers with his thumb and used his newly freed digits to prod her entrance, twice before plunging them into her core as far as he could go.
"I-do-wha-El-ohhhhhhhh-uh," Olivia was nonsensical as her body was flooded with pleasure from three different areas. She held his head to her chest, as she bucked against his hand. She felt like a feral animal as she chased her high.
"Ungh, ungh, unghhhhhhhhh," Olivia panted, she could feel her walls bearing down on his two thick fingers.
Just as she was about to request something, anything more to get her over the edge, he read her mind again and plunged three fingers into her quivering core.
Olivia slapped a hand over her mouth as an undignified whine escaped her throat.
Her body froze in a bow shape as pleasure wracked up and down her body from her head to her toes.
Elliot kept rubbing and sucking until she lightly pushed him away.
She was gasping for breath, her body felt like a puddle of goo. She closed her eyes and her head dropped to her shoulder.
Elliot massaged her knees, and leaned back so that she could close them. He waited patiently, giving her time to recover.
Olivia reached out, finding his hard jaw, she pulled him closer and bent over until their foreheads connected.
She pecked his lips and slid her hand down the front of his body. He intersected it before she could reach his bulge.
"I'm fine," he mumbled against her lips.
She was about to respond when they heard a chime from the computer behind them.
Elliot smiled and kissed her once more on the mouth, nose and lastly her forehead.
"Perfect timing," he stood from his position on the floor, his knees were aching, but he'd gladly take the pain if it meant he'd get to have a repeat of that experience again.
Elliot handed her some Kleenex and helped her clean up. They were smiling at each other, and were checking to make sure Olivia didn't look like her ex-Detective had just given her a mind-blowing orgasm, when there was a knock on her office door.

A/N: RIP to Serena, but it had to be done. Trust the process.
A/N 2: If anyone has any definitive proof of where the ME Department was during seasons 13-14, let me know.
A/N 3: I've had a couple people message me lately asking for my help with their stories, so I'll make it official on here, if any writer ever needs an alpha or beta for your work just shoot me a private message and I'll do my best whenever I can, I know how valuable a great alpha/beta is, not having Tony's help for the past couple weeks (for good reason) makes me love and appreciate him even more. With that being said, all mistakes are mine in this Chapter too.
