Over to Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Takato, Henry, Rika, Ryo, Jeri, Kazu, Kenta, Suzie, Marill, Guil, Impidimp, Hatenna, Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Monodramon, Elecmon, Kokuwamon, Penguinmon, Lopmon, Impmon, and Calumon, they're walking down to a beach area where a bunch of green amphibious Digimon are seen. They have red sails on their heads. These Digimon are known as Betamon.
"You don't think they could across the ocean, do you?" Lyra asked.
"Rill?" Marill asked.
"If they are, then we're gonna have to make it across if we wanna find them," Takato said.
"Charmeleon," Guil said.
"And we have the right Digimon to get the job done," Henry said.
"Yeah, that's right," Kenta said, looking at Penguinmon. The penguin-like Digimon nodded at his partner.
"All I have to do is Digivolve into my Ultimate form and swim across while I'm carrying all of you," Penguinmon said.
"That sounds like an awesome idea to me," Ethan said.
"It would be a fun cruise to go on," Kris said.
"Well, let's get cracking. Sora and the others aren't gonna find themselves," Ash said.
"Let's do this!" Kenta said, holding out his Digivice as Calumon's forehead began to glow. Penguinmon began to Digivolve.
"Penguinmon Digivolve to... Dolphmon!" After Digivolving, Dolphmon dove in the water as the Digivolution process continues. "Dolphmon Digivolve to... Whamon!" The whale-like Digimon jumped out of the water. "All aboard!" With that said, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Takato, Henry, Rika, Ryo, Jeri, Kazumon, Kenta, Suzie, Marill, Guil, Impidimp, Hatenna, Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Monodramon, Elecmon, Kokuwamon, Lopmon, Impmon, and Calumon stepped aboard on Whamon's back.
"All ashore that's going ashore!" Kazu said.
"Full speed ahead!" Kokuwamon added.
"Just be careful not to fall off. Here we go!" Whamon said as he began to swim off, unaware of several Digimon beneath. They're blue humanoid fish-like Digimon with an oxygen tanks on their backs. They had tubes at both sides of their mouths and each held harpoons. These Digimon are known as Divermon.
Meanwhile in Fuschia City, there is a young teenage boy with gray eyes and spiky brown hair. He wears a black shirt under another blue shirt with a white oval with yellow borders and a yellow "t" in the chest and yellow line on the left arm. He also wears black leggings under brown shorts and belt, a red jacket, green goggles, red and white shoes, white gloves, and wears aSquawkeron his left wrist. The Pokémon with him is a Skeledirge, an Aegislash, a Wyrdeer, a Komala, a Chewtle, a Sirfetch'd, a Liepard, an Alakazam, a Sneasler, and a Hisuian Lilligant. He is playing basketball with some of the other kids and some Pokémon. The Pokémon consisted of Machop, Machoke, Makuhita, Poliwhirl, an Ambiom, a Pangoro, both kinds of Toxtricity, and a Pawmot. He makes shot, making the winning basket.
"Alright!" The boy exclaimed.
"That was awesome, Mikey!" One of the boys said.
"Machop!" A Machop said.
"That Mikey Kudo. He's always does this. He always bites off more than he can chew," a boy said.
"Toxtricity," the Low Key Toxtricity said.
"Yeah, but his girlfriend will show up as usual once he runs out of juice," another boy said.
"Toxtricity," the Amped Key Toxtricity said.
Coming in is a young girl with fair skin, amber eyes, and shoulder-length red hair, which is worn in spiky pigtails held by two green scrunchies. Her hair also has a spiky fringe and two sidebangs, which reach her cheeks. She wears a white shirt with a pink collar, long pink sleeves, and a red heart in the left side of the chest. She also wears denim short-alls, with a crimson belt with a circular golden buckle, black stockings, and yellow sneakers with white vamps and soles. The shortall has a golden metallic buckle in the right strap, one pocket in each side of the front, one in each buttock, and a fifth pocket in the stomach. It also lacks a left buckle, and is worn with an undone left strap, exposing the red heart on her shirt. Her Pokémon consisted of a Dusk Form Lycanroc, a Buneary, and a Pawniard.
"Called it," the boys said.
"Toxtricity," the two Toxtricity said.
A little later, the two kids and their Pokémon stepped out to the local park.
"Geez, you seriously need to stop overdoing it!" The girl scolded.
"How often must you go into Mom Mode on me, Angie?" Mikey asked.
"As long as you do these things," Angie said.
Coming to the scene there is a tall teenage boy with lightly tanned skin, spiked dark brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a forest green button-up shirt with two pockets on the chest and the sleeves rolled up over his elbows over a light blue T-shirt. He also wears light brown cargo pants held up by a dark brown belt with a silver buckle, and brown and dark green saddle shoes. His Pokémon consists of a Inteleon and a Heracross.
"I found you, Mikey, my eternal rival!" The boy said.
"Again, Jeremy?" Angie asked.
"Yes, again. And I'm here to challenge you," Jeremy said, pointing at Mikey.
"Can't you just wait until he's fully recovered first!" Angie said.
"I'm more than ready to take you on, Jeremy," Mikey said as Mikey receives an incoming call from a girl named Nene. He answered it. "Nene, what's up?"
Meanwhile, holding her light purple Rotom Phone is a fairly tall girl with brown hair, which is worn up with a yellow hairclip, purple eyes and fair skin. Her attire consists of off-white yellow cowboy boots with pink trims, a purple dress with black trims, a lab coat and several gold chains around her neck. Her Pokémon consisted of a Shiny Altaria, a Dreepy, a Weavile, a Hatterene, and a Grimmsnarl.
With her is a short blonde boy with gray eyes. He wears black suspenders with plaid maroon-purple shorts with a pocket on each side. He also wears a grey shirt with a red tie, white socks, and black shoes. His Pokémon consists of a Shiny Perrserker, an Amped Toxtricity, and a Claydol.
"Mikey, it's the Digital World. Something is happening," Nene said.
"What's going on?" Mikey asked.
"I don't know. I only heard about it from Christopher, so Ewan and I are heading out to meet up with him. Where are you?" Nene asked.
"At the park with Angie and Jeremy. We can wait for you here," Mikey said.
"Okay, stay there until we get there," Nene said.
"Got it," Mikey said as Nene hung up.
"Let's go," Nene said.
Back at the park...
"What's wrong?" Angie asked.
"It's the Digital World. Something's going down," Mikey said.
"That's never a good thing," Jeremy said.
"Jeremy's right. The Digimon wouldn't just call just to say hi," Angie said.
"Whatever it is, we'll know when we get there," Mikey said.
Meanwhile, Nene Ewan, and their Pokémon meet up with a young man. He's tall, blonde, and very intimidating with menacing-looking eyes. He wore a white jack, a dark red vest, and a white shirt underneath. He wore a pair of black jeans and brown boots. His Pokémon consists of a Shiny Tyrantrum, a Salamence, a Golurk, a Garchomp, a Drampa, a Arctibax, a Shiny Electrode, a Shiny Alolan Marowak, and a Totem-sized Kommo-o.
"Is Mikey coming?" The young man asked.
"Mikey's at the park, waiting for us," Nene said.
"Then, let's get there," Christopher said.
Meanwhile, over to Evergrand City, there are two kids on the beach.
One is a boy who has brown hair and brown eyes with tan skin. He wears an unbuttoned green shirt, light-gray pants and blue sandals. With him is a Samurott and a Palafin.
Another is is a young girl with blue eyes and short brown hair, worn in pigtails with yellow hairclips. She wears a yellow dress with red straps, and white and pink sandals. With her is a Hisuian Arcanine and a Mantine.
"Ready for a swim, you guys?" The boy asked.
"Samu," Samurott said.
"Fin," Palafin said.
"Alright!" The boy said, throwing off his shirt and kicked off his sandals. He turned to the girl. "Hey, Minami! Care for a swim?"
"No, I'm fine, Kai. You go ahead," Minami said. Seeing in no point in asking her asking again, he and his two Pokémon took to the water and swam undweath. Under the water, there are schools of Goldeen and Magikarp swimming below as a Huntail swam by. A Sharpedo came in, scaring Huntail away.
Back in Fushia City, Nene, Christopher, Ewan, and their Pokémon met up with the trio in the park.
"So, what's happening in the Digital World?" Mikey asked.
"We don't know other than we just picked up on it. When I went to check in on it, a freakishly huge amount of dark energy came seeping out of it," Ewan said.
"Dark energy? What kind?" Mikey asked.
"We're not a hundred percent about the situation, but this dark energy started to come out from inside it, so we managed to stop it from getting out, but we don't know for how long," Nene said.
"You think Shoutmon and the others are doing alright?" Angie asked.
"We should check on them just to make sure," Mikey said.
Back in the Digital World, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Namimé, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Tai, Matt, Sora T, Izzy, Mimi, TK, Kari, Davis, Ken, Yolei, Cody, Amy, Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Koichi, Zach, Marina, Jason, Patrick, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, Celeste, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Wormmon, Hawkmon Armadillomon, Lunamon, Bokomon, and Neemon arrived to the beach area.
"Wow, who would have imagined the beaches in the Digital World could look so pretty?" May asked.
"This isn't a vacation, May. We're on an important mission," Matt said.
"Matt's right, May. We have to warn them about what's going on in Hollow Bastion as soon as we find them," Sora said.
"If only we had a clue on where to look," Zoe said. Amy noticed the Betamon resting on the beach.
"Maybe we could ask those Digimon over there!" Amy suggested.
"What are those?" Brendan asked.
"Those Digimon are Betamon. They had to see them," Gomamon said.
"It's worth a shot," Kairi said as the group approached the amphibious Digimon.
"Excuse us, but did you see some human beings come by here earlier?" Kari asked.
"Humans?" One of the Betamon asked.
"Yeah, they're like them, and they had some other Digimon and some Pokémon with them, too," Gatomon said, describing the others.
"Poké-what?" Another Betamon asked.
"We don't know what those are, but we did see some humans just a little while ago. From what we remember, they had a Guilmon, a Renamon, and a Terriermon with them," another Betamon said.
"That's them!" Sora T said.
"Do you know which they went?" Riku asked.
"They went that way," the first Betamon said as he and the others points to the ocean.
"Out there?" Takuya asked.
"Yes. They said they were looking for some friends of theirs," The first Betamon said.
"That would be us. Thanks a lot," Sora said.
"No problem," the first Betamon said.
"How are we gonna get across?" Lisia asked.
"It's not like we could swim across. We might as well chop down some trees and make a boat that should be big enough for us all," Max said.
"No, we won't. I got a much better idea than that anyway, Gomamon said.
"What do you have in mind, Gomamon?" Naminé asked.
"I don't think you as Ikkakumon would be big enough to carry all of us," Amy said.
"You won't be able to hold all of us," Lunamon added.
"Just watch," Gomamon said as he rushed over to the shore. "Marching Fishes!" With that said, hundreds to thousands of fishes answered Gomamon's call. The fishes formed a raft, big enough for everyone to get on. "All aboard!"
"Wow, that's awesome!" Sora said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu and Xipak said.
"Gotta hand it to you, Gomamon, that's a smart idea," Joe said.
"I guess I'm more than just a cute face, aren't I?" Gomamon asked.
"Yeah, and you just proved it in a big way," Tai said.
"Let's go," Agumon said as everyone got on the fishes.
"Okay, you guys. Follow the trail," Gomamon said as the fish set off to find their missing friends.
Speaking of which, Whamon kept on swimming as Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Takato, Henry, Rika, Ryo, Jeri, Kazumon, Kenta, Suzie, Marill, Guil, Impidimp, Hatenna, Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Monodramon, Elecmon, Kokuwamon, Lopmon, Impmon, and Calumon enjoyed the ride.
"The breeze feels amazing out here," Jeri said.
"Yeah, it does," Takato said.
"Charmeleon," Guil said.
"Don't get too comfy, because we don't know what could be waiting for us out here," Henry said.
"Apart that there could be a sea monster popping out from any moment," Terriermon said. Just then, a group of Seadramon came out of the water and surrounded them. "Me and my big, fat mouth!" Just then, several other serpentine Digimon emerged from the water, surrounding Whamon. One set of these Digimon are red with white underbellies, green stripes on their backs, and a gold mask, green hair, and a bladed horn. The other serpentine Digimon resembled the first one, but dark red, gray underbellies, orange hair, and a blask mask.
"What do you call those?" Lyra asked.
"Rill?" Marill asked, feeling scared.
"Seadramon, MegaSeadramon and WaruSeadramon. This must be their territory," Henry said.
"Thunder Javelin!" The MegaSeadramon and WaruSeadramon fired lightning from their horns and at Whamon.
"Can't you ram right through them, Whamon?" Kris asked.
"I can try. Tidal Wave!" Whamon shouted. Just when he was about to attack, a WaruSeadramon rammed into Whamon, almost knocking them off. "They're not giving me a chance to do so."
"Ice Blast!" Several Seadramon roared, firing their ice attacks at the whale-like Digimon.
"Those sea worms aren't making it easy for us," Impmon said.
"We gotta clear them out of the way," Renamon said.
"Renamon is right. You gotta have us Digivolve," Terriermon said.
"Go for it," Ash said, summoning his Keyblade. Leaf, Ethan, Kris, and Lyra summoned their Keyblades and held them tight. "We can keep you covered." Henry and Rika's Digivices began to glow, making Terriermon and Renamon began to Digivolve.
"Renamon Digivolve to..."
"Terriermon Digivolve to..."
"Kyubimon!"
"Gargomon!"
"Kyubimon Digivolve to..."
"Gargomon Digivolve to..."
"Taomon!"
"Rapidmon!"
They flew up in the air to deal with them.
"Talisman of Light!" Taomon shouted, painting a kanji and sends it at a Seadramon.
"Rapid Fire!" Rapidmon shouted, firing at the Seadramon, MegaSeadramon, and WaruSeadramon. Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, and Lyra each casts a thunder spell, hitting them.
"They're hardly taking a hit from the lightning," Leaf said.
"Keep going! We gotta keep them back!" Ethan said.
Back with Sora, Kairi, Riku, Namimé, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Tai, Matt, Sora T, Izzy, Mimi, TK, Kari, Davis, Ken, Yolei, Cody, Amy, Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Koichi, Zach, Marina, Jason, Patrick, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, Celeste, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Wormmon, Hawkmon Armadillomon, Lunamon, Bokomon, and Neemon, they spotted something in the distance, knowing it was a fight going on.
"You don't think it could be them, do you?" Lisia asked.
"It it is, then we gotta find out and fast," Sora T said.
"Gomamon, how about you Digivolve into Ikkakumon and swim on over?" Max suggested.
"I could, but I can't, because I can only use my Marching Fishes as Gomamon, not anything else," Gomamon said.
"You can leave that to me," Cody said, looking at Armadillomon. "We haven't done this for a while, so are you ready?"
"Ready to be able to stretch my sea legs again," Armadillomon said.
"What are you planning, Cody?" Sora asked.
"Just see for yourselves. Digi-Armor Energize!" Cody shouted as his Digivice gave off a silver glow.
"Armadillomon Armor Digivolve to..." Armadillomon jumped off of the fishes and underwent a Digivolution. His new form is a fish-like submarine with a long drill-like horn resembling the tusk of a narwhal. Behind his face are yellow ear-like flaps. He has a pair of fins and below his plated jaw are gridded yellow patterns with a purple underbelly behind it. He has stubby back mammalian legs with three claws. On his back is a cockpit. "Submarimon, the Reliable Guardian of the Sea!" He splashed on the water and opened the cockpit. "Hop aboard, Cody." He gets in and starts piloting his partner.
"Full speed ahead, Submarimon!" Cody said as Submarimon began moving.
"Did he just turn into a submarine?" May asked.
"He did. Armadillomon can only be able to use that form anywhere with water. Cody and Submarimon can be able to see what's going on," Izzy said.
Up ahead, Submarimon cruises on forward.
"Cody, there's a chance there could be some unfriendly folks nearby, so I'm gonna have to dive underneath," Submarimon said.
"Okay, you do that," Cody said as Subamrimon goes underwater and boosts up speed. Submarimon saw Whamon from underneath and the group of Seadramon, MegaSeadramon, and WaruSeadramon attacking the whale-like Digimon. "What's going on up above?"
"I don't know, but there's only one way to find out," Submarimon said he swam upwards. He submerged and saw Whamon being rammed by the MegaSeadramon and WaruSeadramon. "These guys are just bullying that Whamon." Cody spotted the familiar group on the whale-like Digimon's back.
"That Whamon's carrying the others. And look," Cody said, pointing to Rapidmon and Taomon.
"It looks like they got a fight on their hands. Better let the others know about this," Submarimon said.
"I agree. Those MegaSeadramon and WaruSeadramon will have you sunk if they see us," Cody said.
"You're right. I'm no match for even of them," Submarimon said, diving back down and swam back to the massive school of fishes.
"Well, Cody? Is it them?" Tai asked.
"Yeah, it's them, but we've hit a big problem," Cody said.
"They're surrounded by a gang of Seadramon, MegaSeadramon, and WaruSeadramon. We got a lot of those overgrown sea snakes everywhere you look," Submarimon said.
"If only I could Digivolve to Zudomon, I could take 'em," Gomamon said.
"But you can't because you'll lose control over the Marching Fishes if you do," Tentomon said.
"You won't have to," Patamon spoke up. Everyone looked at Patamon. "What if I just Digivolve to MagnaAngemon and open up a Gate of Destiny to pull them all in at once," Patamon suggested.
"But won't that kill them along with Ash, Ethan, Takato, and the others, too?" May asked.
"Not necessarily. The Gate of Destiny works in more than one way. The Gate of Destiny can also be used as a projectile attack or it'll transfer them somewhere else. But one of us will have to get their attention for them to get away to safety," Patamon said.
"You can leave that to me to me and Cody," Submarimon said.
"We'll make them care less about them and focused on us," Cody said.
"TK, I'm going to need your help in that department," Patamon said.
"No problem, pal," TK said, holding his Digivice. "Go for it."
"Okay," Patamon said. TK's Digivice began shining as Patamon began to Digivolve. "Patamon Digivolve to... Angemon! Angemon Digivolve to... MagnaAngemon!" Submarimon got into position to begin the distraction plan.
"Before we put the plan into effect, how do you plan to make them chase after us?" Cody asked.
"Easy. I just fire my Oxygen Torpedo at one of the Seadramon, make them think I'm picking a fight, so they'll have no choice but to chase after me," Submarimon said.
"I hope that works," Cody said.
"You and me both," Submarimon said.
Back with Whamon, the Seadramon, MegaSeadramon, and WaruSeadramon continued their assault on them.
"These guys just don't quit, do they?" Ethan asked.
"I don't think they're giving up until they get us," Ryo said.
"Impidimp!" Impidimp said.
Down below, Submarimon waited until he had one of the Seadramon in his sights and sprang into action.
"Oxygen Torpedo!" Submarimon shouted, firing super-compressed oxygen, hitting one of the Seadramon.
"Who did that?!" The Seadramon asked, irradiated.
"I did!" Submarimon said, zooming pass him. "Aqua Vulcan!" Submarimon fired water beams, hitting the other Seadramon, MegaSeadramon, and WaruSeadramon. Submarimon submerged on the surface. "Hey, you ugly, overgrown worms! Come and get me! Come on! I dare ya!"
"Oh, it'll be our pleasure. Picking a fight with us is suicide on your part," one of the WaruSeadramon hissed as the other sea serpent Digimon gave chase.
"Hey, what kind of Digimon was that? It looked like a submarine," Leaf said.
"That was a Submarimon," Ryo said.
"Yeah, and with someone behind the wheel!" Ethan said, noticing Cody. Everyone saw Cody riding in Submarimon's cockpit.
"It's Cody!" Kris said.
"You don't think-?" Lyra asked.
"It's one of Armadillomon's forms. That means the others aren't too far," Takato said.
"Char!" Guil said.
"But where are they?" Guilmon asked.
"Hey, where do you think you're going? We weren't finished yet," Rapidmon said.
"Something isn't right," Taomon said. MagnaAngemon appeared before them.
"MagnaAngemon?" Rapidmon and Taomon asked.
"Where did you come from?" Rapidmon asked.
"Submarimon's a distraction. Tell Whamon to swim away to safety," MagnaAngemon said.
"Understood," Taomon said.
"Looks like the party's over," Rapidmon said as he and Taomon flew back to their friends. "Guys, we got friends in high places."
"And low places, too. Submarimon's distracting those Digimon for us," Elecmon said.
"Whamon, you must swim away in the opposite direction. You must hurry," Taomon said.
"Yeah, MagnaAngemon's got something cooking," Rapidmon said.
"MagnaAngemon?" Leaf asked.
"We'll explain later. Let's move while we still can," Rapidmon said.
"Right," Whamon said, turning around and swam in the opposite direction. MagnaAngemon saw Whamon go the other way, knowing it was going smoothly, so he turned around and flew toward the pursuing Seadramon, MegaSeadramon, and WaruSeadramon.
Back with Submarimon, he's still being chased by the sea serpent Digimon.
"You think Ash and the others got away at this point?" Cody asked.
"If they did, then these fishies wouldn't be on tails. MagnaAngemon better hurry up and open that Gate of Destiny," Submarimon said. Submarimon submerged on the surface and sees the angel-like Digimon. "And right on cue!" Submarimon swam past MagnaAngemon and he extends his sword.
"Gate of Destiny!" MagnaAngemon shouted, opening a golden gate. It opened to reveal a different part of the ocean, pulling in all of the Seadramon, MegaSeadramon, and WaruSeadramon inside it. They splashed in the water beneath them. Once they were all sucked in, the gate closes and vanished. "Enjoy your new home."
"That was close," Henry said.
"Where's Cody now?" Kazu asked.
"Closer than you think," Submarimon, coming up.
"Cody, you're a sight for sore eyes," Jeri said.
"Is everyone doing okay?" Cody asked.
"Yeah, thanks to you," Lopmon said.
"Where's everyone else?" Suzie asked.
"They're right behind us. Let's go meet with them," Cody said.
"Good idea. Let's go before Kenta pukes on someone," Rika said.
"Hey, I don't get seasick," Kenta said.
So, everyone made it back to the beach just so they could reunite and talk about the situation in place. Zach, Marina, Patrick, and Jason were introduced to the rest of the Keyblade wielders and DigiDestined. Max got excited in seeing Impidimp and Hatenna for the first time in his life.
"Ash, Leaf, I'm so glad you're alive," Sora said.
"Likewise, Sora," Leaf said.
"There was no way we were going to lose you again," Ash said.
"Now that everybody's together again, there's something you guys should know about," Tai said.
"What do you mean? What's going on?" Ethan asked.
"Okay, we got word from a guy named Brian in Hollow Bastion, and he told told us that there are Digimon appearing all over the place," Takuya said, making everyone gasp.
"Digimon? In another world?" Kris asked.
"How is that possible?" Ryo asked.
"We don't know, but it gets worse. There are Heartless there as well. They had already taken control of the defense systems, and we think it'll get even more worse unless we find the source of the problem before it spreads to any other world with computer access like a virus," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu and Xipak said.
"If what you're saying is true, then we have to deal with this fast," Takato said.
"Char," Guil said.
"Yeah. And finding Wisemon is more important than ever," Sora said.
Now the gang's together again, their mission to find Wisemon and save the worlds have become even more vital. Will they be able to find Wisemon before it's too late? Find out as we continue.
