Chapter 54 Ernest Saves Christmas

At New York the snow was failing down as many were inside they're houses that was warm, since it was Christmas season and many were together to celebrate the holidays.

Mitsuki was going down the streets as he has a coat on while talking to his phone. "So is everything ready?"

April was at the house cooking while talking to him. "Yeah, the guys are coming too so we're going to need to be ready, say did you get a present for Hansel?"

Mitsuki stops. "What? I thought you picked it."

"Well you better get one, say he likes that Superhero Turboman how about that." April said.

"Thanks i'll go there!" Mitsuki ends the call and runs foward to the store.

He sees the bus wasn't working making him groan as he runs down the streets, he then knocks on to a guy and said: "Sorry."

He saw the guy was wearing a blue vest and white cap. "It's no problem, so what's the hurry?"

"I need to get to a store and get my kid a gift." Mitsuki said.

"Well then let me help you, the names Ernest P. Worrell." He said.

He takes Mitsuki to his truck and drives foward.

"Your pretty nice." Mitsuki said.

"Hey I gotta help a father in need, always there to help others." Ernest said. "Afterall this is the season of giving."

They went to the store and ran inside together.

They saw a mob there before all the toys were gone.

"Oh no!" Mitsuki said.

"Hey don't worry, theres always more, back to the truck!" Ernest said.

They ran back to the truck and Ernest drives foward, they went to a shortcut, the road was blocked off making them scream as Ernest used a pile of dirt as a ramp to jump over a big hole, they screamed before they landed on the other side.

"Whoa, that was amazing!" Ernest said.

"How did you do that?" Mitsuki said.

"Luck." Ernest shrugs.

"Okay, where to?" Mitsuki asked.

"I know a small store that people don't go since they rather go to the big ones." Ernest said.

They stopped at a small toy store that was pretty old and ran inside, the shopkeeper was a old woman and she looks at Mitsuki come to the counter.

"Excuse me, do you have a Turboman figure?" Mitsuki said.

"Oh your in luck, I have one right here." She picks it up from behind the counter and shows it to him.

"Yes." They said.

Mitsuki grabs it but then a fat bald guy wearing a plumbers outfit came with a name tag that says Bob.

"Hey!" Bob said. "I want that toy!"

"Sorry sir but they got it first." The old woman said.

"I need it more since my stupid brat has been screaming for it!" Bob wrestles with Mitsuki for it.

"Don't worry." Ernest grabs on to Bob from behind making him try to shake Ernest off.

Mitsuki buys and runs out. "Now!"

Ernest lets go and runs out.

"Hey!" Bob chases after them.

Ernest jumps inside the window and starts the truck.

"Go! Go! Go!" Mitsuki said as Bob came but Ernest drives off making him scream.

"Phew." They relaxed.

"That was close." Ernest said.

"Yeah it was." Mitsuki nodded as he looks at the toy.

They got bumped foward and looked back to see the guy chasing them.

"Give it back!" Bob yells.

"Are you kidding me?!" Mitsuki said.

"Don't worry, i'll get you home in time!" Ernest drives around the streets as they got chased.

At home

April was looking outside a window and said: "Where is he?"

The kids were watching TV as they smiled, April looks back and sees the tree.

"I hope he can make it." She said.

She then gets a call and answers it. "Yes?"

"Hey April." It was Casey as he walks down the streets. "Me and Em are coming, is the dinner still on?"

"Yeah, say did you see Mitsuki?" She asked.

"Well n..." She saw Mitsuki inside the truck as it got chased by Bob. "Yes. I'll call you back." He ends the call.

He goes to his bike and drives off after them.

April got surprised and she heard a knock on the door.

She opens it as the turtles and Splinter came.

"Merry Christmas April!" They said.

The others of they're friends came which including Herbert West, Cornelia, Valentine and so on.

"Glad you all could come." She said.

Meanwhile

Mitsuki looks back at Bob and looks back at Ernest. "Can't that guy leave us alone."

"I know right." Ernest said.

Casey goes next to them. "Hey Mitsuki!"

"Casey!" Mitsuki looks at him.

"What's going on?!" Casey said.

"That guy is trying to ram us off to get the toy." Mitsuki shows it.

"Don't worry, I got your back!" Casey puts on the mask.

They went through a alley as Casey goes behind them.

A few purple dragon goons walk around before they saw the truck making them hide as it passes by them along with the other vehicles.

They looked out and one said: "What was that?"

Casey takes out a hockey stick and puck before he hits it against the car making Bob surprised.

"Nobody messes with my friend!" Casey said.

"Oh man, this place has a big hole too." Ernest said.

"Then at the last moment turn." Mitsuki said.

They kept driving and saw a big hole in the distance.

"Now!" Mitsuki said and Ernest drives to the side.

Bob sees it making him scream as he falls down, his car got wrecked as he got out looking fine.

"Oh come on!" He screams as he hits against the destroyed car.

The group went to the house and Mitsuki comes out. "Hey thanks man."

"Hey it's all in the days work." Ernest smiles.

Mitsuki looks at him and said: "Say, do you have anything planned?"

"No." Ernest said.

"Then how about you join us?" Mitsuki smiles.

"Really?" Ernest got surprised.

"Yeah, you were a big help." Casey said.

Ernest smiles at them.

At the house April and the others were having fun before she heard another knock making her go open it.

Ernest came. "Ho ho ho Merry Christmas!"

"Oh hi." She got surprised.

Mitsuki and Casey were behind him and Mitsuki said: "We brought a guest."

"Dad!" His kids came.

"Merry Christmas Hansel." Mitsuki gives him the toy.

"Wow!" He takes it.

"It seems this new friend of yours helped you out." April said.

"Yeah, Ernest was a good friend today." Mitsuki said.

"Hey I tried to get that toy but it was sold out." Mikey said.

"Well too bad for you." Raph said making some laugh.

"Merry Christmas everyone." Mitsuki said.

They went to the table as they took a group picture together to celebrate the day.

Note: Here's the first Christmas special for this month and it's Mitsuki getting the Turboman toy while Ernest helps him out, both are from Christmas movies.
