Once the group got to the Hot Dog Stand that King K had told them about, they heard someone shouting.
"No! Bad! So very bad! Behave yourself, egg!"
The group turned just in time to see an egg hoping out of the stand.
The employee (Carlos) begged, "No! Bad! Come back! Help! My imported egg escaped! Somebody catch it!"
Flurrie blew a wind to stop the egg to from moving onto the roof of the stand.
Carlos was griping about the situation, "Most awfully bad! Come down from there, bad egg! How am I supposed to get it now?! Fly up there?! Don't just stand there! Find a way to get a way to get up there!"
The heroes rolled their eyes as it seemed like the egg started to snore. The group finally got on top of the roof.
Goombella asked, "Huh? Did you guys hear that? You want us to help you little eggy-wiggy?"
Koops admitted, "I didn't really hear anything though. But we should try and help this egg."
Violet replied, "I agree with Koops on this one."
Luigi asked, "Is that okay with you Mr. Carlos?"
Carlos told them, "Aww... Fine. Most people don't like eating stuff that jumps all over the place, anyway."
Mario picked up the egg, "Here we go. We got you now. I better keep this egg close. Maybe with the Firebrand, it might hatch faster?"
Goombella was impressed, "Yeah, maybe so. That's really good idea, Mario!"
Luigi replied, "We can all take turns watching the egg too."
Violet scratched the side of her head, "I don't think me watching it is a good idea. I might freeze it."
Flurrie stated, "Same dearie, I might accidentally blow it away if I'm not too careful."
Koops said, "We've got this handled though."
After having their food, the group had gone back inside.

The crowd was gone when they got back in and so was Rawk and Ms. Mowz. When they got back to the locker room, Mario went to schedule another fight.
"Welcome to the automated match-reservation system. What is your command?"
Mario had selected 'Reserve a Match'. Mr. Grubba had appeared on the screen.
He told them, "Well, boy howdy, Comet! Fixin' for a fight, huh?"
Mario confirmed, "Yes we are."
Mr. Grubba checked, "Alright then. Lemme just see here... Yer next opponent will be... Ranked 14 in the Glitz Pit... The Hand-It-Overs! Now listen: in this battle, I want you to avoid usin' any of them special moves! That includes your hand powers. I think the crowd's cravin' a nice, long battle at it's simplest and finest!"
Mario confirmed, "Got it. The next ones to go out are: Shell Raiser and Icy Punch."
Mr. Grubba nodded, "Right. Now get in there an' don't go a-granstandin'."
With that, the screen turned off. Mario turned to Violet.
He asked, "Did you hear that?"
Violet confirmed, "Don't worry, Koops and I got this."
Koops replied, "Oh sure we do!"
Luigi gave Violet a quick kiss on the cheek as security came in and took them to the fight.

Mr. Grubba announced, "For our next battle, we got the Merciless Executioners, Shell Raiser and Icy Punch! And... The Grim Death Burglars... Yep, a fight to finish with The-Hand-It-Overs!"
Violet asked, "Ready to do this old school?"
Koops confirmed, "I am so ready!"
One of the Hand-It-Overs chuckled, "We're awful quick, awful agile...and just plain awful!"
Mr. Grubba commented, "Let's get yerselves ready to...battle!"
The gong went off as the fight begun. Doing it the old fashion way, Violet didn't use her powers but she didn't really need them to begin with anyways. It didn't take for them to take victory.
Mr. Grubba stated, "We got ourselves the winners! Shell Raiser and Icy Punch!"
Koops was thrilled, "That was so freakin' awseome!"
Violet added, "That's how you get a job done!"

After the fight, Jolene gave them some money. She gave them six cons and their ranking went up to 14. Jolene left as King K went up to them.
He asked, "Hey, you heard the latest, C-Dog?"
Mario shook his head, "No, what's up?"
King K explained, "My boys said that they saw a stunnin' babe havin' a juice at the Fresh Juice Shop."
Goombella rolled her eyes, "Stinky boys chasing after babes..."
King K replied, "Hey, say what you want but I could use a little shortie in my life. Dig?"
Luigi was confused, "Guess so?"
King K perked up, "Great then that means you guys will check her out for me!"
Koops did a double take, "Wait what?"
King K walked off before anyone could protest. Violet face palmed herself.
She groaned, "You've got to be kidding me..."
Flurrie frowned, "Well I don't think he means right now. But we can do that later if we need to."
To that, Mario nodded in agreement. Mario went to schedule another fight.

Mario confirmed, "Yes we are."
Mr. Grubba checked, "Alright then. Lemme just see here... Yer next opponent will be... Ranked 13 in the Glitz Pit... The Mind-Bogglers! Now listen: this challenge is like before. I want yer enemy damage you three times in the match."
Mario nodded, "This time, I want Icy Punch to go with me on this fight."
To that, Mr. Grubba nodded as he shut off the screen. Violet looked to Mario, pointing to herself.
Mario chuckled, "Yes you. I want to see if you are as good as Luigi says you are."
Violet taunted, "You know I am."
Luigi chuckled as he took Violet's hand, "Good luck. To the both of you."
Violet smiled, "They won't know what will hit them."
Security came in at that moment and took the two of them to their match.

Mr. Grubba announced, "For our next battle, we got the Merciless Executioners, Red Comet and Icy Punch! And... The Gray Entanglers... Yep, a fight to the finish with The Mind Bogglers!"
Mario asked, "Are you ready then?"
Violet answered, "You know I am."
The piranha plant said, "Prepare to be ensnared, mystified, and devoured!"
Mr. Grubba commented, "Let's get yerselves ready to...battle!"
The gong went off as the fight begun.
