Fate/Stay Night/Kamen Rider
Journey through the Kaleidoscope

Chapter 0: Night of Fate
Fuyuki City, a settlement located in Kyushu, one of the four islands that make up the main body of the nation of Japan. To many, both outsiders and those who that lived there, it was no different than any other town or city found around this country.

Unbeknownst to them the city had a secret, that every fifty years it was the site of an event that would decide the course of the world. The city would become a battlefield for seven individuals known as Magi, magic wielders of incredible power, who fought alongside a special kind of familiar known as a Heroic Spirit, Heroes of the past revived to the modern age, in a battle to the death all in order to claim their prize: the Holy Grail.

This time however things were quite different, to many it had come as a shock of many in the magic community to learn that the next War would begin after only ten years after the previous one's conclusion. As expected in light of this news preparations for this event were already underway.

However the Grail War was not the only conflict that was going on, for in the shadows another was being waged far from the eyes of the public and unknown to the Mages Association and the overseers. A battle that had been going for some time now.

The Fifth Grail War and this hidden conflict, these events would shake this sleepy town to core.

In the foreigners' district, an area of the city dominated by many western styled houses, in the basement of one of them was a flurry of activity. A teenage girl, who looked to be no older then 16, with long black hair tied up it pigtails clad in a red sweater and black mini skirt was hard at work.

This was Tohsaka Rin, daughter of Tohsaka Tokiomi, heir to the line of Tohsaka mages and one of the Magi chosen by the Grail to compete in the upcoming Grail War, the battle that she'd spent the last few years preparing herself for, the battle that was set to begin in a matter of days. Only one outstanding matter to attend to remained to before she truly ready to compete: summon her Servant.

She'd just finished pushing a heavy book laden table to one side when she turned her attention to the large magic summoning circle that was painted on the floor. "Preparations ready."

She then glanced over to a nearby clock located on the table she'd just moved, the time keeping devise telling her that it was almost 2 o'clock in the morning.

"Almost time…" She muttered to herself as she wiped some sweat from her brow.

At the same time in a large open park area, a citizen of Fukuki City was running for his life, desperate to get away from the…things that were pursuing him. In his panicked state he tripped over his own feet and was sent tumbling to the ground.

His breath heavy and face full of fear the man looked back and saw a dozen shadow creatures swarm towards him, amongst them was another figure clad in turquoise and silver armor.

"My vitals are ideal, my Mana should be at its peak." Rin said to herself as she checked her pulse, making another final check to ensure that everything would go off without a hitch. "By performing the ritual at 2 AM I should be able to summon Saber even without a catalyst."

Everything was in place and with the allotted time only seconds away, Rin saw no reason to hesitate. Taking her place within the circle, she popping open a vial that contained a metallic looking substance. Taking a deep breath she tripped the vial and dripped several drops of the metallic liquid onto the symbol beneath her.

Back in the park the terrified man found himself trapped by the shadow creatures, a look of utter terror on his face. "I'm gonna die…I'm gonna die…" he muttered to himself as the turquoise and silver monster reached out towards him.

"Eyecon…" It said, its tone low and guttural.

Just as creature's hand was about to make contact with its target the area was suddenly lit up. Stunned the creatures looked round and were met by the sight of a figure, his features obscured by shadows standing next to a black and chrome motorcycle, its headlight casting light that illuminated the area.

Silently the figure placed its hands before his waist and in an instant a rather bulky looking devise that featured what looked to be with ghostly like design appeared around him in a burst of orange colored energy, a wide toothy grin with a single large single eye socket planted firmly in the middle of, as well as a large orange gripped lever on its right side, attached to an orange strap.

Taking hold of plate that covered the front he pulled its down, revealing a large amount of mechanical detailing, and a circular space where the empty socket had been covered, before taking out an object that looked to be a white orb that somewhat resembled an eyeball set into a black casing, pressing a button on the side before placing it into the devise around his waist and closing the faceplate, that done he grabbing the handle and pulling it back.

EYE! BATCHIRIMINA…BATCHIRIMINA…BATCHIRIMINA…BATCHIRIMINA…

From out of the belt a piece of black and orange tattered fabric emerged and instantly took on the appearance of an open black and orange hoodie, the ghost like material hovering around the figure as he assumed a ninja-esk pose.

"Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone. The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg." Rin announced as she recited the incantation, the substance she's dripped on the ground spread outwards and traced itself along the design of circle below, giving off a green glow as it did so till it illuminated the area around her.

"Henshin…" The figure announced before taking hold if the handle again and pushed it back into the belt.

KAIGAN: ORE LETS GO! KAKUGO! GHO-GHO-GHO-GHOST! GO! GO! GO! GO!

Black form-fitting armor materialized around his body, jagged pieces of dark metal, with glowing orange engravings running across his body. Symbols of eyes engraved themselves on the back of his hands, with a large white one burned into the center of his chest. His face was covered by a blank black shell with no features, save its slightly protruding jawline.

The jacket glided down towards his body, attaching itself without issue. It was a black jacket, with short sleeves and a hood, with orange trim covered in detailing that reached down to his waist, covering the belt's strap.

Pulling the hood back from his head, an orange faceplate covered most of his face, save for its massive pits for eyes, with a jagged silver horn now settled in the middle of his forehead.

Seeing the armored figure before them the shadowy creatures recoiled slightly. The turquoise and silver figure glaring at him. "Kamen…Rider…"

The armored figure, referred to as Kamen Rider, didn't respond. Instead the eyepiece on the belt flashed again and from it emerged an orb of light that took the form of an odd looking sword that the Rider instantly snatched up before charging towards the shadow creatures.

"The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate." Rin continued as she began to drip more of the substance on the ground, "Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Repeat every five times. Simply, shatter once filled."

The light given off by the circle became even more intense and slowly changed color as she continued the incantation, changing from eerie green to a fiery red and rush of wind was unleashed, rustling papers and knocking around any lose items that were present around the room.

Back at the fight Kamen Rider was engaging the turquoise figure that managed to block the Rider's sword slice before slamming its elbow into the black and orange fighter in the chest, seemingly winding him before backhanding him, this strike knocking him to the ground.

Letting out a grunt the Rider picked himself up off of the ground and was quick to notice that he was surrounded by the shadow creatures.

Seeing that he was surrounded the Rider removed the black orb he'd place inside his belt before taking out another one, this one being red and white, and placed into the belt, closed it and pushed the lever again.

EYE! BATCHIRIMINA…BATCHIRIMINA…KAIGAN: MUSASHI! (Biwa Cord) KETTŌ ZUBATTO! CHŌ KENGŌ! (Biwa chords and slashing SFX)

As he did so the black and orange hoodie dethatched itself and dematerialized as a new ghostly hoodie emerged from the belt, this one being red, its 'head' adorned with both a setsuna hachimaki and a sword handle poking out the back giving the appearance of a topknot, and appeared to be wielding a pair of swords, and draped itself over the armored fighters shoulder, his primarily orange face plate being replaced by one that was mostly black with a pair of red swords.

The armored fighter took his sword and split part of it off from the main body, creating a smaller blade. Both weapons in hand he charged once more at the shadowy creatures.

"I announce. Your self is under me, my fate(doom) is in your sword. In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer."

The spiraling magic began to slow down, and it now formed a tornado like shape.

"Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead."

Back at the battle in the park, the Kamen Rider, once more clad in his black and orange hoodie, had dispatched the shadow creatures leaving only the turquoise and silver clad opponent to deal with.

Leaping into the air he delivered a series of sword slashes that knocked the opponent back before kicking it in the face, the force of which was enough to knock it off its feet and send it sprawling to the ground.

"You, seven heavens clad in three words of power," Rin continued, a look of focus and determination on her face. "Arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance!"

No sooner had she spoke these words the energy generated by the circle to spread outwards before pulling itself back in towards its point of origin, causing the tornado of energy to explode outwards kicking up a large cloud of smoke.

Seeing that his opponent was down Kamen Rider put the thumbs and pointer finger on both his hands together forming a triangular shape. More orange energy was released from his body and formed an eye symbol behind him. He then grabbed the handle of the belt and pulled it out before pushing it back in.

DAI KAIGAN: ORE OMEGA DRIVE!

The energy for the symbol then flowed and surrounded the Rider's right leg before he leapt into the air dived towards the fallen opponent, his glowing foot outstretched. Descending rapidly the Rider's foot slammed into the turquoise and silver creatures chest, knocking it backwards and where it then exploded in a large burst of energy, heat and debris.

Back at the Tohsaka residence Rin was kneeling on the ground, coughing away as the cloud of smoke cleared. Despite this she was filled with a sense of pride in herself. "I did it, I did it. That was flawless." She said to herself. "I know that I drew the most powerful card."

Seconds later a loud crashing noise was heard coming from above was heard. Wasting no Rin exited the basement and made her way up the stairs. Forcing the door to the living room open Rin was met by the sight of total devastation, as if a tornado had torn its way through the room.

Amongst the damaged and upended furniture sat a tanned skinned man with short white hair, clad in a long red coat. Opening his eyes the man saw Rin standing there, letting out a chuckle at the sight of her.

Rin however was not amused by this as this man was clearly not the Servant that she'd been hoping for. She was sure that she'd met all the requirements and executed the ritual perfectly, so what could have gone wrong? 'Wait, the clocks. They were all an hour slow…' A look a realization spread across her face. 'That means that it's 1:00 AM not 2:00 AM…'

"Damnit, I did it again…" She groaned in frustration. "Oh well, no point complaining about it now. Damnit father, why did you put this on me…"

She then looked over at the red clad man. "So, just what are you anyway?" she asked him.

"That's your first question." The man responded. "Seems I've been summoned by quite the little Master. I must really be out of luck on this one."

"Why you…" Rin said as she approached the man. "Listen here whoever you are, I'm the one who summoned you. That means you're my Servant got it."

"That's quite a claim, considering that you weren't present when I arrived." The man replied offhandedly. "For all I know you're an imposter trying to deceive me, what proof do you have to back up your words?"

"What, you expected me to throw you some big celebration or something." Rin retorted; she then raised her left hand on which her Command Seals were branded. "As for my claim these Command Seals should be all the evidence you need to prove that I am your Master."

The tanned man let out a sigh. "Oh dear, just my luck to summoned by a snotty little brat." He then looked back up at Rin. "That symbol on your hand means nothing, what I want to know if you're worth my loyalty." He then got to his feet and approached her. "I guess I'll obey you, but just so we're clear I do so only out of necessity. When the war starts I will decide how to handle the enemy. That's not going to be a problem for you right?"

Rin glared at her Servant, who did this…jerk think he was telling her, his Master, what to do? "…You…you smug…arrogant…self-righteous… …asshole." She growled. "Fine then, you want proof of whose Master, I'll give it to you."

"W…wait, what are you doing?" Archer exclaimed as Rin began chanting in German. "You'd waste a Command Seal on something so petty?"

"Shut the hell up." Rin snapped. "I am your Master. You are my Goddamn Servant and I will not be disrespected by the likes of you. I demand your total, unquestioning, obedience."

A pulse of magical energy was released and passed over Archer, part of the brand on Rin's hand vanished. "Are you stupid, don't you understand how important Command Seals are?" Archer said, frustrated by the girls actions.

"O…of course I do." Rin replied. "With them a Master has a set number of orders that a Servant has to obey."

"It's more than that. They symbolize High Magic, overcoming the limitations of human frailty. Granting a Master three specific orders that their Servant must carry out without question." Archer retorted. "Or you would have if you hadn't squandered one of them."

"S…so what, I've still got two left." Rin said firmly, not wanting to admit to her childish outburst. "Besides, the first Seal worked. I didn't waste it."

Archer shook his head. "Seems I misjudged you. When a Master gives a command it must be properly worded, if not then their orders are meaningless." He told her. "Even if you had a hundred Command Seals, I would never be forced to obey you without question."

"So you're telling me my orders were pointless?" Rin asked.

"Normally. However when you gave your order I felt a powerful compulsion to obey. It took everything I had to resist it." Archer said. "It's clear that you are very skilled in Magecraft."

He then offered her a kind smile. "I retract my previous statement, I looked down on you because of your youth. That was an error on my part." Archer said. "I was disorientate due to my summoning but now I recognize the pact that we forged, I feel your Prana anchor me to this world. I acknowledge you as a first rate mage and as my Master."

Hearing this Rin looked away, a slight blush on her face. "Hmm, took you long enough." She told him seconds before something dawned on her. "Wait, you aren't a Saber?"

"I'm afraid not." Archer told her.

"Then that means you're the Archer then." Rin griped. "Damnit, and after using all those gems…"

"Sorry to disappoint you." Archer said incredulously. "Just know I'm going to hold this against you."

Despite herself Rin couldn't help but chuckle at this. "Is that right, then you better do your best make me regret those words Archer." She told him.

Archer chuckled too. "I suppose I better then." He replied. "Master."

"Now that that's settled Archer, it's time for your first assignment." Rin said in a business like tone.

"Straight to business huh, seems my Master is quite the belligerent one." Archer shook his head in amusement. "Very well then, who is my enemy Master?"

From seemingly nowhere Rin pulled out a broom and dustpan that she tossed towards the tanned man, which he caught with catlike reflexes.

"Clean this room." She told him. "This is your mess so I expect you to clean it up."

Archer scowled at her. "Very well." He replied. "I will do as you ask and you can go to hell Master."

Meanwhile back in the park, with the enemy defeated, Kamen Rider opened the front of his belt as he turned to face the man that the shadowy creatures had been pursuing and pulled out the white orb he'd placed inside of it.

Moments later his armor disintegrated from his body, revealing a teenage boy with rust colored hair and gold eyes clad in simple blue jeans and a white and black jacket.

"D…don't hurt me…" The still terrified man pleaded, unsure of what he was seeing or what to make of it all.

"Hey hey, don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you." The gold eyed teen replied in a reassuring tone as he knelt down in front of the man. "I just need something from you and then I'll be on my way."

Before the panicked man could question what was going on, the rust haired boy traced an eye symbol over the his chest, from which his chest emerged a white orb set in a blue case that then landed in the boys outstretched hand.

"Newton…" He muttered to himself before looked back up at the man. "Thanks for this and don't worry, those things won't be after you again. And if it makes you feel better, you won't remember any of this anyway." With that he began walking away towards where he parked his vehicle.

Fate/Stay Night x Kamen Rider Ghost
Fate/Kaigan

Next Time…

"Your gonna have to pick up the pace, at the rate you're going your time will expire and you'll fade away before you find the other eleven. And I'd hate to see that happen."

"We might even see the ghost tonight."

KAIGAN: BEE~THO~VEN! (Energy Loading) KYOKUMEI! UN MEI! JA JA JA~N! (Orchestrated Tune Choir)

"I will not die here, especially not to bastard like you."

"I ask of thee…are you my Master?"

AN And with that this installment is fini. Hey Mastergamer14, you asked for Ghost so I guess you got your wish , hope you liked it.

As I said in the last chapter this was my very first attempt at writing a Fate/Kamen Rider story I ever tried that I started writing back in 2018, whilst I had been watching Kamen Rider since 2010 I was still rather new to the Fate franchise at the time so something's of the details might not 100% line up due to me still be being new to everything at the time I was writing this.

Also I'm sorry if this was disorientating to read with all the cuts, its was written as such to imply that Rin summoning EMIYA and Ghost fighting the Gamma is happening at the same time. But yeah this was pretty short and sweet, more of a teaser then an actual chapter in the same vein as the Ryuki chapter.

Now normally I'd got into more detail and talk some more about this concept but since this is being posted around my birthday I'm gonna do something special. So Yorokobe everyone (or Iwae if you prefer), as a gift from me to all of you your gonna get a double up load.

Also before I sign off check out Kamen Rider fans comment on chapter 2, they came up with a really interesting idea of how you could do a crossover with Revice.

See you in the next one.
