Chapter ?: Blue Storm

So did the Overlord speak his commandments…
"Humanity are my beloved children" said he,
"And Humans shall not kill other Humans…"
"Humans shall not surpass Humanity…"
"Humans shall not become…Agito…"

Emiya Shirou's mind was racing as he tore through the halls of Homurahara Academy, his lungs burning and his heart pounding painfully against his chest as did his best to put as much distance between himself and the 'things' that he'd bore witness to only a few short minutes ago.

Just what was going on? What were those…things that he'd seen back there and why were they fighting each other? These were questions that he had no answers for. The one thing that he knew for certain that he was in over his head.

He'd been in the building that housed the schools the Archery Club when this had all kicked off, cleaning up and making sure all the equipment was in working order (a task that was the responsibility of Matou Shinji however the devious seaweed haired teen had been quick to take advantage of Shirou's obsession with helping people and convinced the redhead to do the job in his place) when a faint noise caught his attention along with a strange sensation that called out to him.

As if pulled along by a powerful force Shirou had followed the noise, his investigations leading him to the school yard where he came across a pair of men who looked to be locked in battle.

One of them was a man with dark blue hair and clad in an azure body with silver trim wielding a long red spear. The other was a tanned skinned man with slicked back white hair clad in a red coat, although Shirou couldn't explain why he felt his gaze drawn towards the twin blades that he was wielding.

Shirou wasn't exactly sure what could have done it however he must have done something to attract both men's attention as they had suddenly turned to look in his direction. Not knowing what else to do Shirou had bolted, he could tell that at least one of the strange men was on his trail.

After running for what felt to him like an eternity Shirou slowed to a halt, his lungs burning as he gasped for breath, trying to make sense of just what the hell was going on.

'W…what was that back there…what were those…things…' He thought frantically, his breathing still heavy and his heart pounding against his chest as he looked back and forth, searching for the slightest trace of either of the strange men who he'd done his best to put as much distance between himself and them as he could. 'They looked human but…something about them…it wasn't right…'

Before he could ponder this any further however his ears were suddenly filled by a familiar loud buzzing noise filled his ears, growing louder and louder until it was painful to listen to. 'This…this again, no…no not now…' Shirou winced as he clutched his head, trying futilely to block out the noise that resonated painfully through his skull.

Try as he might, the buzzing noise continued to grow louder and louder until it grew too great, the rust haired teens' vision turned white and he knew no more.

Unbeknownst to the rust haired teen a portion of the air a short distance behind him then began to shimmer and moments later Lancer suddenly appeared, the ponytailed bedecked man finding his prey just standing there in the middle of the hall with his back turned towards him, completely open and exposed.

Lancer was taken aback by this, as only moments ago this intruder who'd happened yp stumbled across his battle with Archer had been running for his life which in turn had spurred to chase after the fleeing boy, it was always more fun for him when prey tried to run.

To have caught up only to find the boy leaving himself so exposed, it was as if he weren't even trying to preserve his own life and that was no fun. Still the rules of the Holy Grail War valued secrecy above all else, the lives of any bystander who happened to stumble upon it were forfeit.

'Oh well, rules are rules…' Lancer shrugged before he lunged forward, aiming the tip of his weapon at the rust haired teens's back planning to drive it through his prey's heart, drawing closer and closer, the tip of the spear inches away from piercing the target's flesh.

The rust haired boy stood there, his upper body leaning slightly to the side and his arm raised, having done so at the last possible second to knock Gae Bulg off course and causing its wielder to have missed entirely.

"Im…impossible, I never miss…" Lancer exclaimed. "There's no way that a normal human could have blocked my Gae Bulg…"

So taken off guard by this the Servant of the Spear didn't even react when Shirou suddenly spun round and thrust the palm of his left hand into the blue clad warrior's chest and knocked him back a few steps.

Retracting his arm Shirou brought it to the right side waist before thrusting it forwards again only to pull it back once more towards his chest.

No sooner had he done this a bright golden light form around the rust haired teens waist, taking a form of a belt was an ornate one, the strap looked like fine brown leather with two black buttons one on each side, and in the middle of the belt was a black jewel with two golden Archs that swirled into the jewel, the belt was also giving out a pulsing sound.

Taking a deep breath Shirou exhaled loudly as he slowly extended his arm in front of him again, with his fingers curled, before in a loud voice he announced "Henshin…" and placed his hands on one of the two circular protrusions located on either side of the belt.

As soon as the word left his mouth he crossed both his arms in front of him before slamming them down on the buttons causing the stone set into the buckle to flash both a bright light to appear and engulf himself, one so bright Lancer had to look away and shield his eyes as not to be blinded, as well as a noise that sounded like an engine revving.

After a few seconds the light began to fade and the Irish Servant unshielded his eyes, doing so he returned his attention back to the rust haired that he'd been pursuing and in doing so found something that he had not been expecting to find.

Instead of a red haired teenage boy clad in the uniform of his school he found a being clad in a full black bodysuit. The torso armor consisted of a golden chest plate with silver sides with a dark black stone over his heart. His shoulder armor was rounded and spiked up at the ends. From the shins down his legs were covered in thin silver armor that looked like combined arrows going down with some on his boots with rounded pads on his knees.

His head was covered in a black helmet with a silver stripe running down the middle with a blue jewel, it also had two large red eyes that were framed by two golden horns that extended downward and framed the silver faceplate with gold marks creating a fearsome visage.

"W…what the hell…" Lancer exclaimed as took in the figure that stood before him, even with his connection to the Holy Grail gave him no clues to what he was seeing. By the figure that stood before him. "Just what the hell are you?"

Agito didn't reply as he glared at the blue clad Servant before him. "What, don't feel like talking?" Lancer said. "Well that's a shame, me personally I like to banter a little with the guys I'm about to kill. It adds a little spice to things y'know."

Still Agito stayed silent, taking another deep breath as the black and gold Rider slipped then into his fighting stance. Seeing this caused Lancer to cock an eyebrow.

"What's this? After all the running away you did, now all of a sudden you want to fight me?" The Irish Spearman couldn't help but laugh before he assumed his own stance. "Ok then kid, if you really want to fight me so bad then better make it worth my while."

For a moment the air was still as both figures locked their gaze upon the other, waiting for the slightest movement from the other.

With that Lancer then lunged at the armor clad Rider, the tip of his spear aimed at the black gem mounted in the center of his chest only for Agito to twist out of the way before retaliating by aiming a punch at the spear users head which in turn forced the blue clad Servant to pullback to avoid it.

Lancer grimaced as he was forced to pull back further to avoid another punch aimed at him from the armored figure, he much as he hated to admit it he knew full well that this hallway was not an ideal place for him.

The limited space available to him in the narrow corridor meant he could not get as much use out of his weapon as he would have liked, something that did not apply to his opponent given their lack of a weapon.

Although their lack of a weapon also could be a problem for them as they had to fend off his Gae Bulg with nothing but their bare hands.

Not liking to be on the defensive for too long Lancer thrust his spear at Agito once again only for the Rider to duck to the side to avoid its crimson blade, as did so Agito moved towards the wall where he then jumped towards it, taking several steps along its surface before pushing himself off of it and launching himself at Lancer, aiming a kick at the Servants head.

Seeing his opponent's foot coming towards him Lancer muttered a curse as he ducked down out of the way and Agito's foot slicing the air where the Servant if the Spears head had been moments before.

Dropping to the ground Agito the launched his foot at Lancer's legs in an attempt to trying to knock him off of his feet forcing the Irish Servant to make a small hop to avoid his feet being kicked out from under him.

Undeterred Agito quickly rose to his full height again he aimed another punch at Lancer, his momentum carrying him forward until his fist made contact with a window and punched through it. Having missed his target Agito attempted to pull his fist back only to discover that it was trapped in the broken pane.

Seeing the predicament that his opponent found themselves in Lancer readied his spear, knowing an opportunity when he saw one, and went another attempt to skewer the Rider.

Finally managing to pull himself free from the pane of broken glass, Agito reacting quickly, before Lancer's weapon could find it's mark the gold and black Rider grabbing the a hold of Gae Bulg's shaft as Lancer one again attempted to skewer him, spinning on his heel as he did so and turned his back to the Irish Servant.

Meanwhile, as this was going on, Rin was running as fast as her legs would carry her, as she did so she was trying to figure out when exactly things had gone to hell. Earlier that day she'd picked up on a strange sensation that seemed to be located in and around at her school. Given the timing it was safe to assume that this was than likely the work of another Master and their Servant.

Given that the Holy Grail War was not supposed to officially begin for another twenty four hours she and Archer and had taken the opportunity to investigate this occurrence and quickly deducing that it was a Boundry Field, one that when activated would liquefy any and all unfortunate unlucky enough to find themselves trapped inside and absorb their Prana as they died.

Before the Master and Servant duo could begin to try to dismantle or disrupt the magical trap that they'd discovered their attention had suddenly been diverted away by Lancer who had chosen to reveal himself to them, leading to a confrontation between the two Servants.

At some point during their fight both Archer and Lancer had picked up on the presence of someone watching them, sometime that had shocked Rin upon learning that the area hadn't been as deserted as she'd bern led to believe, Lancer taking off after them.

Before she knew it Rin entered the school building and was made a beeline towards the nearest flight of stairs, the sounds of battle coming from the second floor filling her ears as she approached as ascended. Thinking that Archer must have caught up with the Servant of the Spear she continued to press onwards and quickly reached the top of the stairs.

Scanning the area she quickly discovered that indeed the blue clad Servant was engaged in battle only his opponent was not her own Servant but against someone she had not expected to run into.

"A…Agito…" She exclaimed. "What's he doing here and why is he fighting Lancer?"

Situated atop the tallest buildings in the Shinto District both Rin and Archer gazed out at the vast cityscape that spread out beneath them, the two of them having come up here so that Archer could get a good layout of Fuyuki. He'd just finished demonstrating his superior eye sight, counting all the rivets in the bridge that connect the city that was divided by the Miongawa river, when the Servant of the Bow spotted something out of the ordinary.

Investigating both Master and Servant were greeted by a rather grizzly sight, what appeared to be the upper torso and forearms of someone sticking out of one of the buildings, as if merged together. The likely culprit of this crime was standing there as if admiring their handiwork, as both Rin and Archer drew closer it turned to face the two of them revealing itself to be a strange creature, although human like in proportions its head was similar to that of a big cat, a cheetah maybe, with a red muffler wrapped around its neck.

Despite doing her best to keep it off of her face Rin was stunned by this creature, what was it? The Tohsaka heiress's first guess that it might be some kind of familiar or summons, perhaps some kind of experimental creature created to by another Magus, perhaps another participant of the Holy Grail War.

Then again there had been a string of unusual and brutal murders in the last few months, the culprit of which had yet to be apprehended by the police. This creature, could it be a Servant? That would make a degree of sense as spiritual beings required sustenance to sustain themselves, if their Master could not provide them with the necessary prana it would make sense that a desperate Servant would be driven to take it from another source, such as attacking and killing the local populace.

Archer had told her to stay back, conjuring a pair of swords as he did so. He engaged the strange creature, however the catman proved to be able to keep up and evade the tanned skinned Servants strikes.

Evading another slash at it from Archer the catman backed up a short distance performed a strange motion with its hands as it did so, moments later a bright circle of light appeared above its head, being raised by a Catholic priest Rin couldn't help but think that it resembled a halo similar to the ones depicted atop the heads of angels in classical Christian artwork, from which emerged a sword that the catman was quick to snatch up.

Weapon now in hand the catman then engaged Archer again, a resounding clang ringing out as both of their weapons met. For the next few minutes both Archer and the catman went back and forth, engaging and either evading or blocking blades of the other. That was until something caught both of their attention.

The sound of steady footsteps was soon heard, both combatants along with Rin turning their gaze in their direction. From out of the night a strange armored figure emerged, the belt around their waist giving off a bright light and a strange revving noise filled the air.

The figure drew closer, revealing themselves to be the mysterious Rider, moving closer towards them. Seeing the new arrival the strange creature fixed its gaze on them letting out a growl that contorted itself into what sounded like a word. "Agito…"

Letting out a snarl, the catman then disengaged from Archer, seemingly losing all interest in him, and lunged at Agito, carving the air with its blade as it slashed at them, the black and gold Rider who ducked out of the way to avoid it.

The Rider went on to avoid two more slashes aimed at them, the creature went for a third slash inky for the armored figure to raised their arm and caught them by the wrist and blocking their swing before aiming a punch at the catman's midsection, the blow earning them a grunt of pain from the mysterious cat like creature.

The Rider quickly followed this by landing several more punches at their opponent, each strike causing it to take a step back each time, before delivering another punch, this time catching the catman in its cheek that sent it sprawling across the ground, its sword flying from its grip and clattering across the ground.

No sooner had they knocked its mysterious opponent to the ground a pair of additional fins suddenly unfurled themselves from the horns on Agito's helmet, a loud 'SHING' filling the air as they did so, as Agtio let out a deep breath as they assumed a wide legged stance, their left hand extended out in front of them palm facing up with their right was positioned near their waist palm facing down.

At the same moment a glowing symbol appeared beneath the Rider's feet, the symbol featuring several unfurled horns similar to the ones that Agito currently sported, glowing energy from it wound itself around Agito's feet and was absorbed as their stance slowly shifted.

No sooner had the symbol been completely absorbed, Agito then launched himself into the air, reaching the apex they shifted themselves into a flying kick, extending their right foot forward as they launched themselves at the catman who was struggling back to its feet, moving so quickly that an after image was left behind, striking it in the chest that launched it backwards.

No sooner had Agito's feet touched the ground he slowly turned from the catman, as he did so that strange glowing halo once again appeared above its head, the mysterious creature let out a loud cry before its body suddenly erupted in a release of light heat and energy, consuming it in a large explosion leaving not a trace of it behind.

Another loud 'SHING' was heard as the horns in the Rider's head retracted themselves and he rose back to his full height. Their task complete, Agito then departed, vanishing into the night leaving a stunned and confused Rin and Archer behind.

And now here she was 24 hours later, this time engaging Lancer in battle, a Servant summoned to compete in the Holy Grail War. Rin's mind was awash with questions who were they, what relation did they have to.

What relation did they have to the Holy Grail War, there had to be one. Why else would this mysterious warrior have appeared all of a sudden? Was it possible that they were a Servant? That made some sense to her and would explain their combat prowess.

If they were a Servant then which one. Lancer and Archer were accounted for and this armored figure wielded neither a sword nor a weapon of any kind so they couldn't be a Saber and the Servants of the Caster class weren't exactly known for engaging their foes in physical combat.

Berserker was also out as far as she was concerned, the way that this mysterious individual fought was too controlled and methodical to be counted amongst those Servants who had traded their sanity for raw power.

That just left her with only two options, Rider or Assassin, the two wild cards amongst the Servant classes.

The most well-known and commonly used Assassins were the different incarnations of Hassan, masters of silent killing and various forms of assassination, however there was no rule stating that the Old Man of the Mountain were the only Assassin Servants that existed nor that they couldn't employ methods beyond those typically associated with those bearing the title of Assassin.

As for Rider, whilst known for their high level of skill when it came to mounted combat, they were not bound to a single weapon or form of fighting, it wasn't a stretch for Rin to believe that a Servant of the Rider Class could be highly skilled in the use of hand to hand combat.

However, even if this mysterious Agito was indeed a Servant, Rin still found herself with more questions than answers. Just who was he? From the meagre amount of research she'd managed following the previous night's encounter she couldn't find even the slightest trace of a historical figure from any culture that went by the name Agito.

And what about the strange cat-like creature that she'd seen them engage with, what was Agito's connections to them, and more importantly what possible connection could they have to the Holy Grail?

Meanwhile both Agito and Lancer seemed to be unaware of Rin's arrival, far too focused on each other to pay her any attention.

Glancing over his shoulder at the blue clad Spearman behind him, Agito reached down and slapped a hand on the button located on the left side of his belt, once again that ominous revving noise filled the air as from the gem glowing stone set into the centre of his belt changed from gold to azure blue, moments later an object emerged from it, the Rider snatching it up revealing it to be a double bladed polearm with a blue and black shaft with, both ends sporting a golden blade that were folded up.

No sooner had he snatched up his new weapon the air around the mysterious Rider then began to shimmer and the armor altered itself, the golden areas of his chest plate turning the same shade of azure blue and black area of his the left shoulder pad turning a similar shade, the silver band thickening and the pointed flattened out as it turned gold. Lastly the armor and gloved part of his left arm also turning blue as he shifted into Storm Form.

Releasing his hold on Gae Bulg, Agito turned to face Lancer, holding the Storm Halberd out before him as the blades unfurled and as the weapon extended itself before slipping into a fighting pose, pointing one of the blades towards Lancer.

"Well aren't you full of surprises." Lancer said, eyebrow cocked as his opponent assumed a fighting stance, pointing one of the blades ends of his newly acquired weapon at him. "First you copy my colours and now you want to engage me of all people in a spear fight."

Once again Agito remained silent as he continued to glare at the Servant of the Spear, his eyes narrowed and a stern look on his face behind his helmet. Lancer chuckled at this before he also slipped back into his fighting stance. "Alright then, if you want to cross spears with me then I guess I'll humor you."

For the next few moments things were still, both Agito and Lancer glaring back at one another, that was until Agito lunged at Lancer, aiming the bladed end of his weapon at the blue clad Servant who merely smirked at this before ducking out of the way at the Rider's attempt to stab at him.

Unperturbed Agito continued his assault, trying several more times to stab and slash as Lancer who effortlessly ducked and weaved out of the way of each of his attempts. "You done playing around," He sneered. "My turn…"

Agito barely had time to react as the Irish Servant lunged at him, thrusting the tip of his crimson weapon at him. Raising the Storm Halberd he tried his best to intercept the beat like man's latest move, sparks flying as the two bladed weapons connecting with one another, only to find himself being thrown back by the inhuman strength behind Lancer's thrust.

With a look of excited glee on his face, Lancer continued to stab at the Rider in front, forcing him to try and duck and weave out the way of each of Lancer's attempt to impale him with his crimson spear.

Ducking down underneath as Lancer once more tried to impale him, Agito managed to slip past the blue clad Servant and rose back up, his back turned towards the window that he'd punched through a short time ago.

"Not a smart idea kid." Lancer smirked, once more thrusting his spear at the Rider. "When in a fight the last thing a warrior wants to do is find themselves with their backs against the wall."

Seeing the tip of Lancer's spear coming towards him Agito reached out and grabbing the shaft of Gea Bulg before dropped down, the Rider then lashing out with his foot and managing to strike Lancer in one of his legs, the force being enough to knock the Servant of the Spear off balance and towards the window and sent him crashing through it and plummeting towards the ground below.

As he descended towards the ground, Lancer suddenly flipped in mid-air and kicked off the side of the building, pushing himself landed on his feet a short distanced before his feet touched the ground, looking up at Agito who was staring down at him from the now broken window.

"Nice try kid, that last move was pretty sneaky of you. Maybe against someone else that little trick might have worked better, maybe get you the win, but your gonna have to do a lot more then that if you want to put me down." He smirked, resting his spear against his shoulder. "Now come on, get down here already. I'm nowhere near done yet and I get the feeling you aren't either."

Still Agito remained silent, staring down at the Servant of the Spear. Taking a few steps back the black and blue Rider then launched himself self through the broken window, falling quickly towards the ground, quickly slipping back into his fighting stance the moment his feet touched the floor.

Seeing this Lancer burst out laughing, a manic grin spreading across his lips as he did so. "That's the spirit kid, I'll admit I wasn't expecting much from you based on my first impressions, especially after all that running you did, but getting to fight you has been a blast." He said as he also reassumed his fighting pose. "I can't remember the last time I fought someone that made my heart beat this hard and fast. So don't keep me waiting, show me more. The night is still young and I want to enjoy this for as long as I can. I want…"

He suddenly cut himself off in midsentence, the look of excitement and the gleeful smirk that he'd worn shifting themselves into a look of annoyance as well as a grimace before he shifted his attention away from Agito, looking off to his left. "Hey butt out of this," He said to the empty air beside him, sounding annoyed. "This is a fight between warriors, you've no right…"

His words cut themselves off once again, the man fixing at the empty air with a look of utter contempt. Suddenly his posture shifted itself and his weapon suddenly became engulfed in a mass of crimson energy that radiated off of the tip of the spear that engulfed the length of its shaft

Lancer let out a growl as he turned his attention back to Agito. "Sorry about this but my bastard of a Master has ordered me to finish you off." He told the Rider, sounding almost apologetic. "Shame, I was really hoping to enjoy this a little longer but it seems that the memory of this fight will have to sustain me instead."

As always Agito remained silent, staring back at Lancer as the blue clad Servant readied to strike him down. Straightening his posture the mysterious Rider began to twirl the Storm Halberd, as he did so a strong wind suddenly kicked up, as if being generated by the rotation of his weapon, kicking up a cloud of dust that wafted towards Lancer.

"Here I come," The Servant of the Spear declared as he raised his weapon and pulled it back before tossing his crackling spear at Agito. "GAE BULG…"

Meanwhile, whilst both Agito and Lancer had been fighting it out, Rin had as quickly as she could departed the school, emerging from the building just in time to hear the Irish Servant's declaration as his weapon began to radiated with crackling crimson energy. "G…Gae Bulg…" The dark haired Magus exclaimed, shocked at the man's and apparently liberal use of his Trump Card. "That must be his Noble Phantasm, but if that's true then that could only mean that he's…"

Seeing Lancer's weapon come hurtling towards him as inhuman speed Agito swooped into action, and charged forward, thrusting the bladed end of the Storm Halberd forward and managed to catch Gae Bulg in mid-flight, gripping the shaft with both hands he threw all his strength behind it as fought back against the Servants crimson spear even as he felt himself being gradually pushed back.

Calling upon every last ounce of his strength Agito threw everything he had as he pushed back against Gae Bulg, managing to push it off and sending it flying off towards the sky. That done Agito fell towards the ground, the Storm Halberd vanished and the blue parts on Agito's armor vanished and once more adorned in the gold and black of Ground Form.

Taken aback for a moment a sly grin appeared on Lancer's face, as if he was impressed that the Rider had managed to resist his Noble Phantasm. Holding out his hand the crimson spear suddenly changed direction and flew towards him, no sooner had he grabbed a hold of it the Irish Servant spun it around and pointed it at Agito.

"Not bad kiddo, not many out there have managed to deflect my Gae Bulg." He told his opponent as he pushed himself up onto his hands and knees. "I'll be honest, thanks to my Master is a cowardly bastard I was certain that I was gonna have a real boring night so getting to fight you has been a real blast. It's a shame that it's gotta end but hey, rules are rules."

With a groan Agito pushed himself back to his feet, stumbling slightly as he did so, he once again fixed his gaze upon Lancer.

SHING!

The two additional horns extended themselves out from the sides of the bigger horns on Agito's helmet as he shifted his stance, shifting his left foot moved forward and extending his right arm out whilst bring his left back with both his arms extended, the palm of his left hand facing upwards whilst the right was facing down.

At the same time the ground beneath his feet began to shimmer with a golden radiance as it took the form of the symbol of Agito, the Rider then shifted his left foot back and brought his left hand down to waist level while slipped into his stance, placing his arms shoulder with apart with one hand facing up whilst the other was facing down, extending his left foot forward.

"No idea what you're doing but whatever it is go for it, keep fighting until the very well." Lancer said gleefully as his body tensed up, tightening his grip on his weapon he then lunged forward. "Now let's try this again…GAE BULG!"

The golden radiance wound itself around Rider's feet as he let out another loud exhale at the energy from the symbol was absorbed into his feet and the gold and black Rider leapt into the air. As he reached the apex of his jump Agito shifted stance, extending his right foot forward into a flying dive kick. "TYAAHHH!" He cried out as he was launched forward, sending an afterimage was left behind.

In an instant both Agito's foot and Lancer's spear collided with one another, the air around them awash in gold and crimson energy as for a moment both were held in place, as if unable to overpower the other, before with a final surge the force of the Rider's kick managed to knock Lancer back, the Servant of the Spear planting his feet on the ground and was sent skidding backwards several feet.

His feet touching the ground, Agito assumed a crouched position with his left hand extended, slowly turning away from Lancer who had come to a halt. Turning his gaze on turn back of Agito, Lancer felt a strange sensation coming from his Gae Bulg and turning to look at it was met by the sight of several cracker running along the shaft of his weapon from which an ominous glow emerged, growing brighter and brighter before he was engulfed in a massive explosion that sent him sprawling to the ground.

Another 'SHING' was heard the horns on Agito's helmet retracted back into place as he turned to face a now singed and haggard looking Lancer who, panting heavily, looked up to meet his gaze whilst at the same time as he searched around with his hand for his spear only to find no trace of it. "G…Gae Bulg…"

Meanwhile, as the fight between Agito and Lancer had reached it's climaxe, Rin observed them, their final clash leaving her in a stunned state as the scene before played itself out. "N…no way…" She stammered "D…did Agito really manage to destroy Lancer's Noble Phantasm?"

As he futility tried to find any trace of his weapon a voice filled Lancer's ears, once more a look of frustration spread across his face as he was given new orders. Getting back to his feet Lancer turned his gaze back to Agito.

"Well, seems our time is up. Much as I'd love to keep going seems my Master has other plans, although I can't say I'm looking forward to having to beg to that smug asshole to fix my spear." He told the Rider. "Make sure you don't get yourself killed before we run into each other again cos I can assure you that next time I promise you that the outcome is gonna be very different."

And that, with the sound of soft chimes filling the air, the Servant of the Spear vanished from view, leaving Agito behind along with damage left behind by their battle. With nothing left to do Agito turned on his heel and began to walk away.

From her position on the sidelines Rin watched as the Rider took his leave, snapping out of her stupefied state brought on by the outcome of his clash with Lancer. "Oh no you don't…" She muttered to herself and took off after him. "HEY…HEY…" She called out to him.

Agito however didn't acknowledge her, continuing on in the direction that he was heading, something that caused a frown to spread itself across Rin's face. Pushing Prana into her legs the Tohsaka heiress accelerated sharply and easily overtook the mysterious Rider, skidding on her heel she placed herself before him with her arms outstretched as she attempted to block his path.

"I have questions for you Agito and you will answer them." Rin said, her tone firm. "Who the heck are you? What are you? And just what connection do you have to the Holy Grail War?"

From behind his helmet Agito glanced at the Tohsaka Magus infront of him, reguarding her for a moment before simply pushing past her and continued on his way. Something that only further frustrated Rin.

Glaring at the retreating Rider's back, Rin calling upon her Prana she channelled it into her hand which began to crackle with dark energy, gathering it at the tip of her finger before she fired off a Gandr shot, the bolt of dark energy whizzing by Agito's head that resulted in him pausing in his tracks.

"Do I have your attention now?" Rin said as the Rider turned to look back at her, her crackling hand still extended. "Now you are going to answer me." Little did she realize the mistake that she had just made.

From his position Agito glared at Rin, his hands flexing and unflexing before balling themselves into fists before he then rushed at the Tohsaka heiress and swung a punch that Rin barely managed to duck out of the way of.

Undeterred Agito aimed another punch at the dark haired teen only to for something grab him by the wrist before he was tossed to one side, looking up both Agito and Rin found Archer standing there before his Master, in an instant a newly conjured pair of swords appeared in his hands.

"A…Archer…" Rin exclaimed before quickly composing herself. "About time you showed up."

His gaze fixed upon the red clad Servant, Agito rose back up to his feet, once more letting out a deep exhale as he did so. A then 'SHING' rang out as the fins on Agito's helmet unfurled themselves as he was about to shifted into his pose he assumed before delivering his Rider Kick, Archer's body tensing as he prepared to engage the mysterious Rider.

That was until Agito's posture suddenly changed, his breathing becoming heavier as he rose up to his full height as he began look around him. "WH…wha…what…" He exclaimed, saying something for the first time, he then began examining himself. "What…what is this, why am I…"

He then looked up and spotted both Rin and Archer standing a short distance away from him. "T…Tohsaka…" He exclaimed as his eyes fell upon her. "W…what's going on, what have I been doing? I…I didn't hurt you…did I?"

Rin eyes widened slighted and her breath caught in her throat as she heard the mysterious figure address her by name, that would mean that whoever this was knew of her. Did this mean that whoever this was could be someone that she knew?

Before anyone could do or say anything else a loud noise filled the air, looking over in the direction of which the noise was coming all three were greeted by the sight of a gold, red and black motorcycle come speeding towards them and pull up in front of Agito.

No sooner had the machine pulled up before him Agito was hesitant, regarding the bike for a few moments before looking back up at the Tohsaka heiress and her Servant momentarily before mounting the machine, revving the engine before taking off leaving a stunned Rin and Archer behind.

AN And with that another chapter is in the bag.

For anyone who's confused as to what happened at the end, for the first few episodes of Agito Shouichi would black out whenever the Lords would show up and, the way I interpret anyway, is that the Agito Seed inside of him would pilot his body. This lasts until the beginning of episode 3 since Shouchi gained full awareness of what he was doing but not before he attacks Hikawa, aka G3, whilst in his altered state and only existed to set up the idea whether or not Agito is on the side of humanity. A plot line which, as you can guess, doesn't last long and is dropped pretty quickly.

A while back hawko2632 asked me a question about regarding Agito which was whether or not the Clock Tower and the church would know about the events of Kuuga and if they'd have knowledge about the existence of the Lords and the Overlord of Darkness.

To reiterate my answer to him: From what I've seen Magi can be kind of dumb or at least very much apathetic when it comes to anything not related to Magecraft or reaching Akasha, so even if they are aware of the events of Kuuga they might not even care.

As for groups like the Clock Tower and the Church being aware of the Lords that's probably something that's left up to whoever's writing the story. Personally I'd say no, like I said in the last chapter the Overlords of Light and Darkness predates all life on Earth so I'd go with them having no knowledge of them but if someone else wanted them to know about them their free to do so.

As for other elements from Agito that I'm still working on how to incorporate such as what to do with G3/G3-X and Gills. Although that being said I don't see the need to write out or replace Hikawa, I could easily see him and the other members of Team G3 stumbling across the Holy Grail War by accident and getting drawn in to the ritual. Plus I can just imagine a funny scene with Hikawa coming across a Servant and tries to arrest them.

As for Gills I'll admit I'm kinda stumped. If I'm honest I really didn't find Ryo to be all that great of a character and found him rather unnecessary by the end. A thought I had was to perhaps have Rin replace Ryo as Gills since it is possibly for Agito Seeds to be transferred from one person to another, as such perhaps Rin could encounters one of the Akatsuki Go survivors who unknowingly transfers their seed to her which would eventually allow her to transform into Kamen Rider Gills.

Another element I'm stumped on is how to incorporate the Akatsuki Go incident. For those of you who haven't seen Agito, the Akatsuki Go incident happens 3 years prior to the show and is the catalyst for a lot of its events. Akatsuki Go was a cruise ship upon which the spirit of the Overlord of Light appeared and implanted the passengers, one of whom was Shouchi, with Agito Seeds before the ship was attacked by the Lords and Hikawa, who was still a rookie cop at the time of the incident, managing to get aboard and rescue all but one of the passengers, and is the reason for Shouchi's amnesia.

Still if I do include the Akatsuki Go incident that dose raise the question of what was Shirou doing aboard the ship, he doesn't seem the cruise ship type, heck I can't see him taking a vacation unless he was dragged along kicking and screaming.

An idea that I considered was to move the date of the Akatsuki Go incident and have it take place prior to Fourth Grail War so that and Kiritsugu was on board the ship when the Overlord of Light appeared and was one of the individuals to receive an Agito Seed, although he was unaware of it. Later on, during the Fuyuki fire, he would pass the Agito Seed onto Shirou along with Avalon.

Although doing that would require me to age up Hikawa since he a rookie cop at the time of incident and he's still pretty young by the time Agito starts.

There's probably more I could talk about, I haven't even talked about the Overlord of Darkness and the Lords and just what kind of impact their presence would have on the Grail War or how the Fate characters would respond to then, but I feel like I'm done for now.

As for the chapters for Zi-O and Fourze I was hoping that I'd have them finished by now but I hit a bit of a wall recently and haven't had the motivation to work in anything. Fortunately I seem to be over it now and hope to have both the chapters for Zi-O and Fourze finished soon. Plus I've got some ideas for some new chapters based on Decade, Faiz and OOO as well as something involving Ghost. Maybe I'll have you vote on which one I write next once the chapters for Zi-O and Fourze are done.

As always feel free to leave your feedback, I always love reading your comments and I'll see you all on the next chapter.

Till next time, peace out y'all.
