Journey through the Kaleidoscope

Fate/Stay Night x Kamen Rider Ghost
Fate/Kaigan Special: Road to Moonrise

Interlude 1

Archer let out a sigh as he wiped his brow as he leaned on his broom, the past few hours had been spent in his Master's workshop, sweeping the close as well as packing up several items that Rin had told him that she wanted moved out of the from her families workshop located in the basement of the house to be put into storage whilst others were to be taken over to Emiya Shirou's house.

Amongst the items found bound for storage included a case that was held closed by several latches. His curiosity peaked, Archer picked up the case and set it down on his Master's desk, popped the latches and opened up the lid.

Inside the case the tanned skinned Servant discovered a sword resting upon a red velvet cushioned lining, its looped hilt and handle appeared to be coated in gold, its blade a crimson red.

Intrigued by the weapon, Archer glanced around him before he took hold of the sword's handle and lifted it out of the case, running a hand across the blade before muttering "■■■■ ■■…"

All of a sudden Archer found his mind being assaulted by a slew of images and emotions, so overwhelmed by this that Archer lost his balance and fell to the ground and the sword fell from his grip and clattered as it hit the ground.

Sitting there Archer fixed his gaze upon the weapon, his eyes burst open wide and his breathing heavy. "Wha…what the…" He said to himself, "Just what was all that?"

"Archer, Archer," The sound of Rin's voice was heard, the sound of her voice quickly followed by the sound of hurried footsteps as she entered the room to see the sight of the tanned skinned man seated on the floor, sweat dripping from his brow. "Archer, what's going on down there?"

"Rin," Archer said as he looked over in her direction, he then pointed towards the sword that lay upon the ground a short distance from him. "That sword, why do you have that?"

"My father, he picked it up. According to him, it was once wielded by a powerful warrior." She informed him as she walked past him and picked the sword off of the ground. "In the lead up to the last Grail War he acquired it as a potential catalyst before he was acquired the one to summon the Servant that he eventually used."

Hearing this Archer picked himself up off of the floor, his attention fixed solely on the weapon that his Master was holding. "Get rid of it." He told her.

"What?" Rin exclaimed.

"That sword, it's pure evil." Archer insisted. "Rin, I implore you to get rid of it." He then held a hand out towards her. "Give it to me and I will see that it is disposed of.

Rin fell silent, her attention fixed upon the blade of the sword that she was holding as she pondered her Servant's words. The truth was she knew little about this weapon apart from what her late father had shared with her. Could what Archer said be true, was this sword evil?

True she might have only summoned the tanned skinned man recently however she felt like she had developed a pretty good rapport with him and he had proven himself to be pretty capable. He had no reason to lie to her and, despite being an Archer Servant, he'd demonstrated to be quite knowledgeable when it came to swords.

But still, even if it was evil this sword was still a priceless artifact from a long forgotten culture, to simply throw such a thing away would be unthinkable.

Then there was the fact that this sword was something that her father had left behind…

"Rin…" Archer said, insistence in his tone.

"No," Rin replied, her attention still fixed upon the sword. "I won't get rid of it."

"Rin, did you not hear what I said?" Archer said, his tone rather forceful. "That sword is dangerous, to simply leave it…"

"I said no Archer." Rin snapped as she turned to face him. "I have made my decision and as your Master what I say gose."

For a moment both Master and Servant glared at one another, the atmosphere inside the Workshop becoming tense. Eventually Archer let out a sigh as he relented. "Yes…Master…" He said.

"Good." Rin said in a commanding tone as she turned away from him and set the sword down upon the desk. "Right now we have more important things to worthy about than whether a sword is evil or not."

"If you're done, please transport the materials I have requested over to Emiya's house." She continued. "As for this sword, we'll worry about once the Grail War is less of a priority. If it is indeed evil then it will have to be disposed of properly, to simply throw it away would be highly irresponsible."

Archer stayed silent as he stared at Rin's back, the images that he'd observed when he investigated the weapon still fresh in his mind, they made him feel uneasy.

Still Rin was his Master and to go against her was not something he wished to do, not at this stage of the War anyway. "Understood Rin."

Interlude 2

The day passed and once again evening enveloped Fuyuki, due to the string of occurrences that had taken place over the past month many sought refuge in their homes. Still despite this as well as the curfew that was in effect there were still those who chose to take their chances and partake in the city's nightlife.

In one of the many high rise buildings of Fuyuki's business district a man clad in a smart looking suit exited an elevator and stepped into a large room, a hostess by the door greeting him as he entered.

"Good evening Tsukikage-san." She said to him, bowing her head politely.

The gentlemen, Tsukikage Nobuhiko, responded by giving her a small nod before he turned his attention to the room before him.

Various tables were scattered about the room, a handful of patrons who like himself had braved the curfew seated at several of them. Large windows dominated the right wall giving the establishment's patrons a view of Fuyuki as it spread out before them, next to it a piano had been placed, a member of the staff seated at it playing some number that he didn't know the name of nor did he care to learn.

Nobuhiko shifted his attention over to the bar area that was set up along the left wall, sitting at it he noticed an individual clad in a brown leather jacket, their head covered by a baseball cap, based on how the rest of the clientele that frequented this establishment, he looked quite out of place.

A small grin appearing on his lips for a brief moment, Nobuhiko strode towards the bar and sat himself down next to the stranger who didn't even seem to react as he did so, his attention fixed solely on the glass that was half filled with brown liquid and ice sat on the bar before him.

"You got my message I see," He said to the man next to him before he signaled to the bartender to pour him a drink. "I must say you're not an easy man to find."

"That's by design." The stranger replied as he picked up his glass. "Still, given who we both are, I was curious that someone like you would want to do business with someone like me." He then took a sip of his drink.

Nobuhiko let out a small chuckle as the bartender placed a glass in front of him. "I suppose that's fair, if our roles were reversed and you reached out to me I would be equally suspicious of your intentions." He said as he traced a finger around the rim of his drink. "However there is something I need retrieved and you're the best in the business."

Hearing this the stranger turned his head to look at the man beside him. "Oh, you need something, do you?" He said. "Alright, you got my attention, whatever this item is must be pretty valuable if you'd work with someone who's supposedly your enemy."

Nobuhiko reached into his suit jacket and produced a large brown envelope and placed it on the bar in front of the man beside him. "All the information on the item, where it is currently, is in here." He told the stranger. As he took the envelope and opened it. "Also in there is the time and place of where to meet me once you've retrieved it."

Reaching into the envelope the stranger produced a piece of paper, his eyebrows suddenly rising as he took in what was on it. "The…" He said to himself before he looked back at Nobuhiko. "This is…you want me to steal this for you?"

Nobuhiko chuckled at the man's reaction. "Why, what's the problem? Is this job too much for you?" He said before taking a sip of his drink.

"Of course not, however if I do this what do I get out of it?" the stranger shot back, sounding offended. "I expect to be equally compensated for a job like this."

"Oh I wouldn't worry." Nobuhiko told him as he set his glass back in the bar. "You'll receive a reward suitable for someone like you."

Shooting Nobuhiko a hard look, the stranger snatched up his glass and downed the rest of his drink before slamming it back down on the bar before getting to his feet. "I'll have your item," he told the smartly dressed man. "I'll see you at the meeting place."

"Good luck." Nobuhiko said as his companion strode towards the exit, examining the contents of his glass before knocking back the last of his drink.

Interlude 3

Another night had descended over Fuyuki and as it had been for the past few months those citizens who chose not to brave the night had retreated to their homes, waiting for the dawn to come before venturing out again.

So deserted were the streets at this hour that few would notice a strange figure clad in a brown leather jacket and a baseball cap as they snuck their way towards the Tohsaka residence.

Upon reaching his destination Kaitou Daiki gave a quick look around to make sure that no one was watching him before turning his attention to his target, a fancy western styled house located in the foreigners district, in which the item that his client, Tsukikage Nobuhiko, had hired him to steal was stored.

According to the information that he'd been supplied with by Tsukikage Nobuhiko the owner hadn't been by in several days, there also didn't seem to be any kind of security system.

It was like the owner was practically inviting thieves such as himself inside and begging them to take their possessions.

As he approached the house Kaitou couldn't help but notice the air around him becoming heavier, as if the house was giving off a foreboding aura. Taking a moment he shrugged it off, after all he'd been through this was nothing to him.

Reaching the front door, Kaitou produced a pair of lock picks and set to work on the doors lock, working at it until a click was heard and the door creaked open. After checking the area to make sure he wasn't being watched, Kaitou slipped inside and closed the door behind him.

Now inside the main hall of the house, Kaitou began thinking about where he should begin his search, scanning the hallway all but one of the doors connecting to various rooms were open. Save for one that is.

Moving towards it the treasure hunter grabbed the door handle only to find it locked, something that told him that he was on the right track, after if someone wanted to hide something valuable putting it behind a locked door was a good place to start.

Reaching into his jacket Kaitou pulled out his Diend Driver, pointed it at the door in front of him and fired off a shot at the lock, obliterating it and causing the door to swing open revealing a set of stairs that led to the basement.

Descending into the basement, Kaitou found himself in a sizable room, various tables were dotted about the room and shelves lined the walls, both of which had an array of items and old looking books. However what stood out the most to the thieving Rider was what looked like a satanic symbol painted on the floor.

Knowing that he had limited time before needing to meet up with Nobuhiko, Kaitou scanned the area and almost instantly saw sitting there laid out on one of the desks was the object that Nobuhiko had hired him to retrieve, a rapier styled sword with a golden hilt and handle and a crimson red blade.

"Well, that was easy…" Kaito said to himself as he walked over and picked the weapon up off of the desk, taking a moment to examine the sword.

"Well well, who do we have here?" Hearing a voice behind him, Kaitou quickly looked round to find a man with tanned skin, slicked back white hair and clad in a red coat standing in the doorway with his arms crossed.

"Hmmm, I don't recall inviting you into this house." Archer said, locking his gaze on the man in front of him. "I hope you can give me a good reason for you being here, my Master doesn't take kindly to thieves."

Reaching for his hat, Kaitou removed it from his head and tossed it to one side. "Don't mind me, I'm just passing through." He told the Servant of the Bow who merely stared back at him with a nonplus look on his face. "Hey, no need for that, if you must know someone hired me to retrieve this for him." he then held up the Satan Saber to emphasize his point.

Seeing this Archer let out a sigh. "That sword, I knew that it was bad news." He said himself before turning his attention back to Kaitou, taking a few steps towards him. "Whilst I like nothing better than to get that wretched thing out of this house I'm not prepared to simply hand it over to a shady individual like you."

"I don't suppose you could just let me walk out of here?" Kaitou asked.

"Fraid not," Archer replied, conjuring a pair of his trademark falchions as he did so. "My Master would be very disappointed in me if I let you go after so brazenly breaking in."

"Yeah, didn't think so either," Kaitou said, pulling out his Diend Driver as well as his Ride Card which he slotted into the device, the siren-like standby noise filling the air. "Yosh, looks like we're doing this…"

KAMEN RIDE:

"Henshin…" Kaitou announced pointing his Henshin device towards Archer and pulled the trigger.

DIEND…

All of a sudden Diend's symbol appeared before the individual segments launched themselves at Archer, at the same time three semi-transparent images of an armored figure, one blue one red and one green, appeared and began shifting around the stranger.

Seeing the projectiles incoming, Archer raised his swords in an attempt to block them, the segments bouncing off of the Servant's weapons and were sent back towards Kaitou just as the three images settled over him, the segments merging with him and the image around the strange man took on a solid appearance.

Where the thief had been now stood a figure clad in a black and neon blue bodysuit with odd looking black armored segments located on his biceps as well as wrapped around his elbows and down the front of his shins, the inside being black whilst the outside was gold as well as golden band wrapped around his wrists. A belt wrapped around his waist with a buckle attached, the center of which featured his symbol emblazoned on a black block, and his chest shoulders covered by a blocky chest piece that featured more segments with a pair of silver highlights either side of a single gold one on each shoulder.

Finally the helmet that covered his head featured a silver mouth plate and a silver plate attached to the forehead decorated by four circular numbs. Its most prominent feature however were the blue segmented slots that covered the eyes that had been formed when the projectiles created by the symbol had merged with the suit.

Archer narrowed his eyes at the armored figure that stood before him. "Kamen Rider…" He muttered, sighing as he did so. "Another one…"

"You know about Rider's," Diend said, "Alright then, let me show you how I fight."

Interlude 4

On the grounds of the Tohsaka residence the sounds of fighting could be heard as both Archer and Diend engaged each other. After a short exchange both participants had eventually exited the house and made their way into the garden located at the back of the house.

Ducking down out of the way of Archer's attempts to slash at him, Diend pointed his weapon at Archer's chest, the Servant of the Bow quickly vanished from view before he could open fire, the tanned skinned Servant reappearing a short distance away.

The moment he reappeared Archer hurled his falchions at Diend, the yin and yang themed swords cutting through the air like a pair of disks as they flew towards the blue and black Rider who was quick to shoot them out of the air, at the same time Archer quickly conjured a new pair of swords and charged at the thieving Rider.

Seeing Archer charging towards him Diend quickly dropped to the ground, managing to avoid Archer's swords as the Servant of the Bow attempted to cut him down, rolling on the ground he pointed his weapon at the tanned skinned Servant who used his own weapons to deflect his shots.

Beneath his helmet, Diend narrowed his eyes, this was dragging too long for his liking. Nobuhiko's information did not mention that the tanned skinned man before him nor that he was guarding this house. Also that man was waiting for him and he'd made it clear that he had a limited time window in which to complete this assignment.

Getting to his feet, the thieving Rider reached into the card holder at his side and produced four Rider Cards. "I don't have all night, so let's wrap this up…" Diend said to Archer as he loaded the four cards into his Diend Driver and pulled the trigger.

KAMEN RIDE: BLADE…/GARREN…/CHALICE…/LEANGLE…

Four glowing orbs emerged from the Diend Driver that flew towards Archer, a quartet of shifting images flying towards him that quickly took the form of the four armored, Archer frowned at funding himself surrounded by the four Blade Riders.

Lunging forward both Blade and Chalice swung their respective weapons at Archer who intercepted the Knight of Spades and Knight of Hearts bladed weapons with his own.

No sooner had he done this Leangle made his move, slashing at Archer with his weapon who was forced to disengage from both Blade and Chalice in order to fall back to avoid the green and yellow Rider's spear.

As Archer fell back Garren pointed his gun at him and fired off a few shots at the man, Archer managing to deflect them with his sword. Seeing that Archer's attention was fixed on Garren, both Blade and Leangle moved in to engage the Servant once again, the tanned skinned Servant cursing himself as he fought the pair of Rider's off.

With both Blade and Leangle holding Archer's attention both Garren and Chalice pulled out one of their Undead Cards and scanned them.

FIRE…/TORNADO…

Pointing his weapon at Archer, the Knight of Diamonds launched a large gout of flames at him, at the same time Chalice thrust his hand forwards, as he did so he launched a spinning vortex of wind at Archer, seeing the combined attack coming towards him the Servant of the Bow managed to narrowly avoid it.

BLIZZARD…

Hearing something Archer looked over to see Leangle thrust his weapon forward, the tanned skinned man caught in a blast of super frigid air causing him to grit his teeth as he felt his body seize up.

Seeing his chance, Blade unfurled his own cards and selected one and scanned it.

THUNDER…

The blade of his sword now crackling with electricity, Blade slashed at Archer again, slicing him across the chest and causing him to let out a grunt of pain as he felt the crackling blade cut through him.

Meanwhile from his position Diend had watched as the four Blade Riders had brought the tanned skinned Servant to his knees. As assuming as this was he hadn't forgotten that he had a deadline to meet, It was time to wrap this up and meet up with Nobohiko.

"This has been fun but I'm on the clock," Diend said as he produced a new Ride Card and slipped it into his Diend Driver before aiming it towards Archer.

FINAL ATTACK RIDE: …

In front of the barrel of his weapon dozens of cards made from glowing blue energy creating several rows that rotated in different directions. All four Blade Riders let out a cry before they were transformed into glowing energy cards that were quickly added to the rotating rows.

D…D…D…DIEND…

Pulling the trigger Diend fired a beam of blue energy at Archer, the Servant of the Bow raising his weapons in an attempt to block his attack, the blades of Kanshou and Bakuya cracking before they shattered, the beam of energy striking Archer in his chest, his body that crackled with energy before he was engulfed in a large explosion.

The energy soon began to die away, as if it did so a figure could be seen standing there, to Diend's surprise that Archer had survived his attack, albeit the Servant now looked to be in very rough shape.

Panting heavily and blood pouring from several wounds, Archer fixed his gaze on the Rider who stood a short distance from him, calling upon whatever strength his beaten and battered body had left and forced himself to move forward, managing a few steps forward before his legs gave out beneath him and he collapsed to the ground.

"You survive that, that's surprising." Diend said as Archer pushed himself onto his elbows. "I probably should put you out of your misery but I've got what I came here for, plus the guy who hired me to get this for him is expecting me."

He then pulled out the sword with the crimson blade for emphasis, Archer glaring at him as the blue and black Rider then turned on his heel and departed. "Ja nee…"

Archer let out a growl and gritted his teeth as the thieving Rider vanished from view, his vision becoming blurry and unfocused and his head began to swim. "Rin…" He muttered before his world turned dark and he knew no more.

Interlude 5

Nobohiko gazed up at the moon, the large luna body hanging high above him. Looking away from the moon the smart looking man turned his attention to his watch, it was almost the desired hour and still no sign of Kaitou, the thriving Rider was cutting things rather close.

It was then the sound of rustling was heard, looking over he was greeted by the sight of Kaitou who emerged from behind one of the trees. "There you are." the suit clad man firmly, "Cutting things pretty close aren't we."

"Things turned out to be a little more complicated than you let on." Kaitou replied. "The information you provided didn't mention the guard that I had to deal with."

Nobohiko didn't say anything at first. Fixing Kaitou with a stern look. "Regardless, the item I hired you to retrieve," He said to the thief. "Do you have it?"

Fixing the man before him with a hard stare, Kaitou produced the sword and tossed it onto the ground in front of Nobohiko, the suit clad man's expression shifting into a look of wonder and amazement as he knelt down to examine it.

"The Satan Saber," He muttered as he picked the sword off of the ground, admiring it "At last the weapon of Gorgom's champion is once again in our hands."

"There's got it for you, now where's my payment," Kaitou demanded. "After what I went through to retrieve it I think I've earned it."

"Your reward," Nobohiko said, turning his gaze away from the sword and over to the thief. "But of course, I said that I'd reward you with something befitting a man such as you, and I am man of my word…"

He then snapped his fingers, no sooner had he done so a noise from above was heard and moments later several grotesque looking creatures dropped down from the treeline and surrounded Kaitou, their appearance a cross between a spider and something that could vaguely pass for human.

"Wha…What the…" Kaitou exclaimed, glancing around at the Spider Mutants that surrounded him before shifting it back to Nobohiko. "You're double crossing me?"

A sly smile spread itself across Nobohiko's lips. "I said that I had a reward befitting a man such as yourself, you should have known then to work with your enemy." He told the thief. "All the same I should thank you, you can die knowing that thanks to your efforts the world will once again cower at the mere mention of Gorgom."

With that Nobohiko turned on his heel and began to walk away the moment his back was turned each of Spider Mutants fired a line of sticky thread from their mouths at Kaitou, wrapping itself around his arms, legs and neck, before retreating back up into the treeline, carrying the bound Rider with them.

Walking away from where the thieving Rider would seemingly meet his demise, Nobohiko walked through the line of trees before arriving in a clearing where he was greeted by the sight of several figures clad in white robes, their heads hidden behind hoods, standing around a red symbol that had been painted on the ground, its design identical to the one that Diend had seen painted onto the floor of the Tohsaka workshop.

"It's almost time," Nobohiko said to the robed figures. "Are all the preparations ready?" One of the robed priests nodded in response. "Good, the hour is here so let us proceed."

Without hesitation he then strode towards the painted circle and stepped into it and placed himself at its center. "Century King, accept my body as the vessel of your rebirth…" Nobohiko said, his tone barely above a whisper before he ran the blade of the Satan Saber across his left palm before holding his hand out before him, red liquid quickly oozing from the wound which he dripped into the ground.

"Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone. The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg." He announced as he recited the incantation, the substance he dripped on the ground spread outwards and traced itself along the design of the circle below, the green light given off by the magic circle growing brighter as he did so until it illuminated the clearing

"The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate." He continued, more of his blood dripping out onto the ground, "Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Repeat every five times. Simply, shatter once filled."

As he recited the incantation the green light given off by the circle became steadily more intense, its colour shifting from eerie green to a fiery red. All of a sudden a rush of wind kicked up, any loose debris from the forest floor was kicked up into the air.

"I announce. Your self is under me, my fate (doom) is in your sword. In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer." All of a sudden the spiraling magic given off of the circle that began to slow, and it now formed a tornado. Undeterred Nobohiko continued, more crimson fluid oozing from the wound in his hand and dripping on the ground.

"Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead. You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, Arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance!"

All of a sudden there was a powerful surge of light and energy erupted from the magic circle, obscuring Nobohiko from view, the group of robed figures struggled as not be blown off of their feet.

Soon enough the light from the summoning ritual dimmed, no longer was Tsukikage Nobuhiko standing there, instead standing there was a figure clad in gleaming silver armored hand shot out from underneath the rock and rubble. It reached out further, revealing an arm of black and silver metal plating, a belt wrapped around their waist that featured a bulky looking black buckle that was mechanical looking with a green jewel in the center, their head covered in a grasshopper themed helmet with a pair of green bug-like eyes.

The light dimmed to reveal an armor clad figure standing there, moonlight gleaming off of his silver armor

"Gorgom's ultimate warrior," Of the hooded Gorgom Priests spoke up. "Century King…Shadowmoon…"

"Century King, no. I am no longer merely a Century King," Shadowmoon said, turning his gaze upon the priest. "From this moment I declare myself the Creation King and leader of Gorgom."

Stepping out of the summoning circle, Shadowmoon turned his gaze up at the moon, its light reflected in the green lenses of his helmet. "Loyal members of Gorgom, as your leader I will lead you to victory." He declared, raising a hand and tightening it into a fist, "I will crush our most hated enemy, Kamen Rider, and the world will belong to us…"

AN So your probably wondering what the heck is this and why are Shirou and Saber absent? Well back when I was writing Fate/Kaigan I had a few plans in mind, one of which to do my version of the Kamen Rider Ichigo movie where where Takeru and Matoko teaming up with Takaeshi Hongo to defeat Shocker. However instead of just rehashing the plot of that movie I had the idea to team Shirou and co up with a different Showa Rider which led to me brining back Gorgom and reviving Shadowmoon.

Further more to build up to this story I took some inspiration from Kamen Rider Driver and how it built up to its summer movie Surprise Future with its 1 minute epilogues that featured in episodes 38 to 41 featuring a 1 minute at the end of each episode introducing the audience to the new characters and providing background information for the movies plot prior to its release.

With this structure I had the idea to write these series of interludes that would have started showing up in either chapters 6 or 7 and would have run through the following chapters taking place during whilst Shirou and Saber are off dealing with the main plot of those chapter, thus why they the two of them are absent, which would culminate in Shadowmoon's revival.

As to why I went with Gorgom instead Shocker since cos even by 2018/19 Toei bringing back Shocker for Kamen Rider movies was pretty played out. Plus even in 2023 Shadowmoon is pretty iconic as being one of the first evil Kamen Riders.

Also something I want to make clear is that the Nobohiko and Shadowmoon that we see in this these interludes are not another the original we see in Black and Black RX. The original Shadowmoon from Black and Black RX, Akizuki Nobohiko, is dead and the Shadowmoon that we get post RX is a first seen in a 1994 short film Kamen Rider World was revived as the embodiment of the lingering hate of dead Kaijin that were defeated by the Showa Riders.

As for Tsukikage Nobuhiko that was featured in interludes he originally appeared in the Kamen Rider Decade movie All Riders Vs. Dai-Shocker who usurped Tsukasa as later of Dai-Shocker and is reveal to be Shadowmoon in that movie. I figured I'd use him in this since it would mean I wouldn't have to come up as a new character plus Tsukikage means "Moon Shadow" so there's that.

But we're not done here, instead if signing off (and since its unlikely that I'm going to ) here's a scene from the 'movie' that would have taken place prior to the climax of the story...

Fate/Stay Night x Kamen Rider Ghost x Kamen Rider Black RX
Gekijōban Fate/Kaigan: Shadowmoon Rising

Saber stared up at the sky, did her best to keep an impassive look on her face as she looked towards the horizon, judging by how the sky there was starting to brighten she could tell that dawn was almost here which meant the allotted time was almost upon them and there was still no sign of Shirou, Specter and Minami Kotaro.

Suppressing the urge to let out a sign, the blond haired Servant instead shifted her gaze away from the horizon and looked around her, seeing the dozens of Fuyuki's population who were gathered around her, men women and children all of whom looked scared or apprehensive.

She couldn't help but emphasize as, despite the impartial look that she was doing her best to maintain, she too felt much the same way. Thanks to Gorgom's spell she had been stripped of abilities granted to her by being summoned as a Servant, right now she didn't even possess strength enough to even lift her sword.

Amongst the crowd of people Saber caught sight of a small family, a father and mother holding tightly to their child, doing their best to comfort and assuring them that everything would be alright despite how clearly scared they were. Saber's heart went out to them, wishing that there was something that she could do to help.

Unable to bear watching them any further, seeing them only serving to hammer home her own impotence, tye green eyed women turned her gaze towards the pair of X shaped crucifixes that were mounted to a large platform, to which both Archer and Lancer were bound to, the tanned skinned Servant's eyes were closed and had his head down whilst Lancer glared and snarled at Gorgom Kaijin that were guarding them as they passed by. Despite also being stripped of his abilities as a Servant both of them had managed to put up more of a fight then she had before being subdued by Gorgom's forces.

And they weren't the only Servants that were amongst the group of citizens that had been rounded up as somewhere amongst the sea of people Caster and Rider who, like her, were bound and stripped of their powers. Gorgom had managed to capture the Servants summoned for the Grail War, save for Berserker and Assassin.

Seeing all this despair around her Saber found her resolve being tested, she couldn't help but wonder if there was ever a time in her past that she ever felt this helpless.

It was then the sound of footsteps was heard, glancing over Saber was met by the sight of Shadowmoon approaching, the Gorgom Leader was being flanked by several Gorgom Kaijin as they approached the stage.

"People of Fuyuki, the time is almost upon you to make your choice," Shadowmoon announced, his voice ringing out through the area. "You can either submit yourself to Gorgom or you can perish."

"Somethings never change," A voice spoke up, their tone defiant. "Even after all this time you are still a fool, Shadowmoon."

Hearing this Saber and many around her scanned the crowd to find who it was that spoke up and from amongst the group of townspeople an old man wearing a leather jacket stood up, the back of which was embroidered with the words 'Tachibana Racing Club'.

"You dare old man," Shadowmoon growled, "You think the likes of you can stand in the way of Gorgom?"

"You don't scare me Shadowmoon, you will fail just as you always have." The old man retorted. "Gorgom, Shocker, Destron. They all failed in the end. This time will be no different."

As the old man was speaking the sun began to peek over the horizon, and as it did the sound of footsteps was heard as a trio of figures appeared and were walking towards Gorgom's encampment.

Seeing the trio slowly advancing towards the encampment Shadowmoon let out a low growl, his armor clad hands clenching themselves tightly into fists. "Minami Kotaro…" He snarled.

With the sun slowly rising higher behind them the trio of Riders approached the Gorgom encampment. All of a sudden something flashed in front of them and were met by the sight of Kaitou standing there. "K…Kaitou-san…" Shirou exclaimed upon seeing the thief. "You're still here?"

"Yeah, didn't you say you were going to move on to the next world." Specter added.

"I'm still considering it," Kaitou replied before turning his gaze to Kotaro, pulling a Ride Card and slipping it into his Diend Driver before pointing the weapon at the older man. "Tell RX, why shouldn't I just hand you over to Shadowmoon right now?"

KAMEN RIDE:...

Seeing this Shirou instinctively tried to move towards the thief only to halt when he felt a hand on his shoulder, glancing over he found Specter looking back at him, a firm look on his face.

Kotaro didn't even seem to flinch at the weapon being pointed at him, merely meeting Kaitlu's gaze with his own.

"Daiki Kaitou, your comrade Tsukasa once told me that you value your freedom above all else," He told the younger man. "Tell me, do you really think a world controlled by Gorgom would allow you to have such a thing?"

For the next few moments both men stared at one another, neither man said anything. Not with their voices anyway. After a few seconds, Kaitou repositioned his weapon slightly to the right of Kotaro's head and pulled the trigger.

BLACK…

The images merged together, taking the form of…another Minami Kotaro, this one clad in black leathers, both Kotaro's , neither of them seeming surprised or taken aback at seeing another version of themselves.

"Two of you, it doesn't matter." Shadowmoon snarled at the sight of two versions of his hated enemy. "Even if there was an army of Minami Kotaro's, you have no hope of defeating Gorgom."

"Akizuki…?" The black clad Kotaro asked his counterpart.

"No, merely a vessel filled with malice." White Kotaro replied, a note of loss in his voice. "Akizuki, he's been through enough already…"

"I see," Black Kotaro said, his voice also sounding mournful, he then looked towards his counterpart. "Yosh, then let us not waste time and defeat him."

Both Kotaro's stepped forward, Shirou Specter and Kaitou quickly lining up alongside them. White Kotaro raised his right hand, holding it out as if reaching at the sun, he held it forward before moving it towards his left arm.

At the same time the man in black assumed a wide legged stance, his left arm crossing his chest as he raised his tightly clenched fists near his head for a few moments before thrusting his right arm across him before bringing it to his side and repeating the action with his left before slowly arcing it above him

"Hen…" he swung it back towards his right waist and held his fist closed as he raised his left arm with his fist extended. "…shin!"

"Hen…shin…" He declared, holding out both his arms up horizontally.

All of a sudden both men's eyes shined brightly, sparks emanating from their body as a silver strap connected to a buckle appeared around their waists.

White Kotaro's was a golden rectangle that held two circular red jewels whilst black Kotaro's was a rather more bulky looking and silver with a singular large red gem in its center.

Bright light emanated from the gemstones on both men's belts and in a flash both Minami Kotaro's were clad in an armored suit.

White Kotaro's suit being black with pieces of green on his chest, biceps and thighs being primarily green while the rest was black armored, the chest having distinguishable pectorals with a hexagonal solar panel right below them. His helmet was predominantly black with a silver stripe going down the center and two red tipped antennae, having large red compound bug eyes and a wide silver mouthpiece.

Black Kotaro's armor meanwhile was primarily black worn over a dark grey textured bodysuit. His chest armor looked to be black pectoral pieces attached to a grey chest plate, the left one featuring a vaguely S shaped symbol that was lay on its side etched into it and the collar featuring two yellow lines that ran along either side a single red lines, a detail that also featured on his wrists and ankle. Lastly his helmet was adorned with two large red segmented lenses, a pair of antenna and silver stripe running down the middle, a mouth plate looking to be segmented.

"I am the child of the sun," RX announced, his voice resonating as he struck a pose, "KAMEN RIDER BLACK…RX…"

"KAMEN RIDER…BLACK…" Black added, striking a pose like his counterpart.

Shirou and Specter both summoned their Ghost Drivers before pulling out their Eyecon's, clicked the button on them and loaded them into their belts. At the same time Kaitou produced a new Ride Card and loaded it into his Diend Driver.

KAMEN RIDE:...

"Henshin…"/"Henshin…"/"Henshin…" All three of them announced, Kaitou pulled the trigger on his Diend Driver whilst Shirou and Specter pulled the handle on their Ghost Drivers.

DIEND…

KAIGAN: ORE! LET'S GO! KAKUGO! GO GO GO! GHOST!

KAIGAN: SPECTER! READY GO! KAKUGO! DO KI DO KI! GHOST!

Diend's symbol appeared as the greyed out image of his armor appeared on his body, the symbol separated itself into individual segments that attached themselves to him and colour appeared on his armor.

At the same time both Ghost and Specter's armored bodysuits appeared on their bodies, their parka ghosts emerging from the eye slot in their Driver's, and draped themselves on their shoulders to complete their transformation.

Their transformation, the five Riders stood there, highlighted by the light of the morning sun as it rose higher into the sky. It truly was an awe inspiring sight to behold.

"Damned Riders," Shadowmoon growled. At the sight before him "Always getting in Gorgom's way…"

"A…amazing…" Saber said to herself, her voice filled with awe as she took in the sight of the five Riders. "These are Japan's heroes…"

"Everyone, things may seem dire but don't give in to fear. All you have to do is believe in them," The old man said, his voice loud and filled with determination. "For even if there is no God or Buddha, there is…Kamen Rider…"

"Shadowmoon, the fighting between us ends today. This place will be the site of our final battle." RX declared, extending his hand out drastically as he did so. "I will defeat you and the soul of Akizuki Nobuhiko will finally be able to rest in peace."

"Indeed Minami Kotaro, this will be our final battle, I will personally see to it that this place becomes your grave…" Shadowmoon snapped back, he then pointed towards the five Riders. "Get them…"

No sooner had he said this the air was filled with the sound of cries as dozens of Gorgom's mutants charged forward towards the five armor clad heroes.

"Everyone," Black announced, raising his tightened fist. "Let's show them our Kamen Rider spirit…"

"Right…" Ghost, Specter and Diend replied, both ghostly Riders now armed with their respective weapons, the Gan Gun Saber and Gan Gun Hand respectively, before they charged forward to meet the incoming hoard of Gorgom Kaijin that was headed towards them.

The final battle between the Kamen Riders and Gorgom had begun.

AN And with that another entry in the series is fini.

So yeah, that was, at least part of, my idea for a crossover movie. In a previous comments someone asked me if I'd ever write something based of Kamen Rider crossover material and another asked me if I'd ever write something featuring the Showa Riders, this is probably the closet you'll get to both.

As for the the 'movie's plot, essentially what would have happened is that Shirou and co meet and teaming up with Minami Kotaro to defeat a revived Shadowmoon and Gorgom, who round about the halfway mark would use a spell that nullified all Magecraft in Fuyuki and stripped Saber and the other Servant of their class abilities leading to the battle with Gorgom during which Ghost and Specter would receive the special Eyecons containing the powers of the Heisei and Showa Riders that they'd use to defeat the Gorgom Mutants as well as the groups spell to restore Magecraft and the Servants to their full power whilst Black and Black RX have a final showdown with Shadowmoon.

A pretty basic overall plot I know but lets be honest most most Toku movies, at least the ones based on the currently running shows, don't tend to have pretty simplistic plots.

Anyway, with that I'm done for now. This chapter but I figured that it would be a fun experiment, next time we'll be back with either Fourze or Zi-O. As always feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of this one, did you think it was good or not, either way feedback is always appreciated.

Till next time, peace out y'all
