Chapter ?: A Witches Arrival

The rings of magic, the Wizard Rings. They shine on the hands of the modern mage, as he changes despair into hope.

Mitsuzuri Ayako's heart pounded painfully against her chest as she tried to comprehend what was going on. Thanks to Shinji shirking his responsibilities (again) it had been left to her to check over and store away the club's equipment for the night, a task that whilst tedious had to be done.

Finally, an hour after the sun had set and the dark cloak of night now covering the sky above, she'd finally finished, disposing of the dirty water and putting away the cleaning supplies Ayako had just finished locking up when these strange creatures had appeared from out of the night and were now pursuing her.

Ayako ran, the sound of hurried footsteps behind her telling her that the group of monsters were on her trail. Rounding the corner of the school building the school's main entrance came into view…only to discover that the front gate was sealed up tight.

"Nowhere left to run." The Manticore Phantom said in a sinister sounding tone as he and the squad of Ghouls approached the now trapped teenager. "Just give up, embrace your despair, I promise it'll make the process a lot smoother."

Ayako felt a fresh tremor of fear run through her body at these words. Pressing her back against the gate, images of her friends and family as well as various events flashed through her mind. Was this it, was it all over for her? Was she really going to die at 18, no longer a child and just on the cusp of adulthood with her whole life ahead of her.

She'd never graduate with the rest of her classmates. Never go to college. Never leave home. Never get a proper job. Never fall in love (or get to admit to a certain someone of the crush she had on them), never get married and start a family.

Family…she'd never see her family ever again; never get to say she loved them. Her friends, her classmates…or anyone, so many people she'd never see again and so many events and milestones she'd never experience.

All of a sudden the roar of an engine was heard, becoming louder and louder with each passing second, before moments later a motorcycle with a pair of passengers on the back of it leapt over the wall, catching the attention of both Ayako and the group of Phantoms, the rider of the two wheeler then swerving sideways and bringing the vehicle to a halt between the brown haired teenager and the group of Kaijin that had been pursuing her.

"Ohhh…" The Manticore Phantom said, locking his gaze upon the newcomers as the rider dismounted themselves. "And what do we have here?"

The rider removed their helmet, Ayako's eyes widening in surprise at the sight of Emiya Shirou standing before her. "E…Emiya…Wha…why…how…?" She exclaimed, her heart beating faster at the sight of him.

"Don't worry Mitsuzuiri, I won't let you come to any harm." Shirou assured her, he then glanced over to Rin who was seated on the back of the Machine Winger. "Tohsaka…"

"Right, leave it to me." Rin replied as she removed her own helmet before climbing off the back of Shirou's bike and approached the equal parte scared and confused Ayako.

"T…T…Tohsaka…" Ayako stuttered. "Wha…what are you and Emiya doing here, what are those weird monsters and why are they after me?"

"It's…complicated." Rin replied as she took hold of Ayako's hand. "It's a long story and now's probably not a good time to tell it."

The Manticore Phantom however didn't seem all that concerned by this. "Heh, so, you've decided to show yourself Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai." The multi creature Kaijin told the rust haired young man, "Y'know I've heard Medusa and Phoenix talk about you, they say that you're pretty strong. I wonder though, if you really can live up to all that hype."

"I don't give a damn what you think of me." Shirou retorted, fixing the group of Kaijin with a stern look as brushed his right hand over the hand shaped buckle around his waist and in a flash, it transformed into the Wizardriver. "I won't let you destroy Mitzuzuri's hope."

Driver On, Please!

The Driver now around his waist, the rust haired youngman flipped the hand plate from left to right and back to left again, a familiar jingle beginning to play.

Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin! Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin! Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin!

His gaze never shifting from the group of Phantoms, Shirou raised his left hand and flipped the visor part of his Flame Ring before bringing it down to the hand shaped plate on the front of the Wizardriver to scan it.

"Henshin…" Shirou announced, the familiar red magic circle appearing beside him before it began to slide over his form.

Flame, Please! HI-HI, HI-HI-HI!

Its task complete, the magic circle vanished leaving Wizard behind, clad in his familiar black body armor, the front of his helmet and chest plate adorned in red rubies, his WizSwordGun already in hand.

Off to the side Ayako's eyes widened as she took in the sight before her, her brain racing a mile a minute as she tried to comprehend what was going on. First she'd been approached by a group of weird monsters who'd then proceeded to chase her only to be rescued by Emiya and Tohsaka, the former transforming into an armored warrior.

"Come on, let's get out of here." Rin told Ayako, tightening her grip on the short haired brunette's hand before leading her away, leaving Shirou to face down the Manticore Phantom as well as the squad of Ghouls that accompanied it.

"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai…" The Manticore growled, meeting Wizard's glare with his own as he then thrust a hand out before him in the Magical Rider's direction. "Get him…"

Seeing the squad of Ghouls come charging towards him, Wizard gave his WizSwordGun a flourish before as he prepared in to engage the squad of Ghouls that were charging at him, quickly finding himself surrounded.

Wizard let out a grunt as he leaned his head out of the way of the Ghoul's attempt to skewer him with its pike weapon before retaliating by slashing it across the chest with his WizgunSword, the grey skinned creature collapsing to the ground.

This didn't much give him any respite however as no sooner had been dispatched than several duplicates of the Mooks swarmed towards him, their weapons at the ready.

Wizard muttered a curse under his breath to himself as they swarmed towards him, it wasn't the Ghouls that concerned him, whilst annoying to deal with in large numbers they weren't all that strong by themselves and were easily dispatched, no it was the Phantom that concerned him.

Amongst the squad of Ghouls the Manticore Phantom strolled menacingly towards the gem themed Rider, as he did so one of the Ghouls got in his way, grabbing hold of the Mook the Phantom easily tossed it aside before lunging at Wizard, lashing out at his with one of its clawed hands and racked him across the chest, sending him stumbling backwards.

"Damn, he's strong…" Wizard muttered to himself as he steadied himself. "Need to try something else…"

The gem themed Rider barely had time to recover as several of the Ghouls dashed towards him, ducking out of the way of one of them as they swung at him, retaliating with the WizSwordGun knocking it back.

Backing up to give himself a little room Wizard grabbed a new Wizard Ring from the chain that hung off of the side of his belt and slipped it onto his left hand. That done, he quickly shifted the hand-like plate mounted on the front of the Wizardriver from left to right and quickly back to left again and scanned the new Ring.

Hurricane, Please!

Instantly a magic circle appeared above him, this one being green opposed to the usual red one, the glowing arcane ring that was adorned with runes and sigils quickly descending over him.

FU-FU, FU-FU-FU!

That moment it reached the ground, the glowing circle vanished to reveal Wizard standing there, the gems on his chest plate and helmet having changed from rounded red rubies to triangular green emeralds.

His transformation complete Wizard leapt into the air, a swirl of green magical energy appearing around him that carried him upwards, the effect creating a powerful blast of wind that knocked the Ghouls to the ground, the Manticore Phantom being knocked back slightly but managing to stay on his feet, watching as Wizard rose higher.

"Heh, you really think that I'm gonna let you get away…" Manticore said in a low tone, his body tensing up before it launched itself into the air towards Wizard, striking the magic Rider across the face before grabbing him and tossing him back to the ground, Wizard rolling across the ground a few times before coming to a halt.

"D…damnit…" Wizard groaned as he pushed himself up onto his elbows, "It's so strong…"

No sooner had he pushed himself up a loud boom was heard followed by a cloud of dust being kicked up, glancing over in its direction Wizard found the Manticore Phantom standing there.

"Are you really the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai, the one who's given so many other Phantoms so much trouble?" The Manticore Phantom said, his tone mocking, as several of the Ghouls appeared to flank him. "From what I've seen I'm not impressed."

Wizard didn't say anything in response, behind his helmet he racked his brain trying to figure out what he should do. Flame and Hurricane didn't seem to be all that effective against it, would Ground or Water be more effective?

All of a sudden, portions of the air above the Magical Rider began to shimmer before several glowing magical sigils appeared from which a barrage of magical bolts were fired at the group of Phantoms, the barrage of bolts taking out several of the Ghouls and forced the Manticore Phantom to fall back.

"My, my Master, look how much trouble you've gotten yourself into." A voice spoke up, their tone playful. "What would you do without me?"

All of a portion of the air shifted accompanied by the sound of jingling bells was heard as a figure clad in a hood and cloak appeared hovering above Wizard before descending to the ground.

"C…Caster?" Wizard exclaimed, whilst he was glad for his Servant's arrival he was also shocked as he'd instructed her to involve herself with the Phantoms as little as possible.

"Who is this?" Manticore muttered to himself as he glared at the new arrival. "Medusa and Phoenix said that the Mahōtsukai worked alone."

"C…Caster, you need to get out of here." Wizard exclaimed, taken aback by his Servant's sudden arrival. "That Phantom, it's stronger than the others were."

"Yes, I can see that. It's why I am here. After all, a Servant's role is to support their Master." Caster replied as her feet touched the ground, placing her ring clad hand in front of her waist as she did so. "You are not a typical Magus Master, you prefer to deal with problems head on, and, whilst I tend to refrain from taking direct action myself, I am your Servant, as such I cannot abide you fighting alone anymore."

All of a sudden, a magical glow emanated from her hand and pulling it away revealed a perfect recreation of the Wizardriver around her waist and that wasn't all as the Rings that adorned both her hands also changed, their appearance now similar to one of Wizards transformation Rings.

Driver On, Please!

No sooner had this Driver appeared an all too familiar jazzy tune suddenly filled the air.

Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin! Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin! Shabadoobi Touch to Henshin!

As this jazzy tune played, Caster struck a wide legged stance then extended the hand on which sported her newly transformed Wizard Ring out in front of her, twisting hand downwards before slowly curling her bicep upwards until her hand was level with her face.

"Henshin…" The Servant of the Spell declared, placing her hand in front of the hand shaped plate allowing it to register the Ring that adorned her finger before thrusting it out in front of her. As she did so a glowing magic circle formed at her feet which then began to move up steadily up her body, moving from her feet towards her head.

Change, Please! MAHOU-MAHOU, MAHOU-MAHOU-MAHOU!

The circle vanished to reveal that Caster was now clad in an armored of similar design dissimilar to Wizard, consisting of a black bodysuit with silver trim, a jewel inspired face and chest plate both of them were purple, her helmet featuring a hood that looked similar to the one Caster normally wore.

From his position on the ground Wizard stared up at her, beneath his helmet he had a dumbfounded look on his face. "C…Caster," He exclaimed, "How…how did you…?"

The newly transformed Servant let out a chuckle. "Silly boya, did you forget that I am a Caster class Servant with an A Rank in Item creation," She replied, wrapping her fingers against her belt as she did so, "Recreating items such as this is child's play for me.'

Having said this Caster then turned her attention to the group of Phantoms, performed a twirl, her cape like tails catching the air and spun with her before falling back into place, before assuming a wide legged stance with her left arm thrown out to the side and bringing her right one up with her splayed hand aligned with her helmet bedecked head.

"Behold creature of despair," The newly transformed Servant announced in a dramatic sounding tone. "Ai to mahō no Majo, Kamen Rider…Witch…sanjou…"

Wizard and the Manticore Phantom stared at her, both of them looking bewildered. Staring at the new arrival, Manticore was beginning to feel uneasy. "Ai to mahō no Majo…," He growled as he glared at the newcomer, "Damn it, Wiseman never mentioned that the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai had a partner."

Meanwhile Wizard was wondering what the Greek antihero did to occupy herself whenever he wasn't around. "'Ai to mahō no Majo', that sounds like a line from a Magical Girl anime." He said as he picked himself up off the ground, "What exactly do you get up to whilst I'm out at work?"

"What can I say, it seems you're not the only one with a flair for the dramatic mister Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai." Witch replied offhandedly. "You're not upset at me after I went through all this effort, are you?"

"Onore, you think that this changes anything." The Manticore Phantom snarled. "The Mahōtsukai couldn't stop me so don't go thinking that there being two of you will make any difference."

"Heh, quite the charmer isn't he." Witch said to Wizard in a playful sounding tone.

"Hmm, didn't realize that he was your type." Wizard replied offhandedly, his comment earning him a swat on the arm.

"Oh, what is this, do I hear a note of jealousy?" Witch said playfully. "Do not worry Master, I promise that I only have eyes for you."

"Bastards…" The Manticore Phantom roared. "You dare mock me?"

"Mou, such a killjoy," Witch said in a mocking tone. "That attitude of yours is spoiling the moment and I will not have a sourpuss such as you ruining my big debut."

"Ok, that's enough joking around. Time to get serious." Wizard spoke up. "Phantom, I…we won't allow you to crush Misuzurir's dreams and for a new Phantom to be born."

With a swish of their respective coats/robes both Wizard and Witch raised their left hand, the back of which held up to display the Wizard Ring on their finger, "Saa, Showtime…" Both Wizard and Witch declared.

His catchphrase now spoke, Wizard raised his WizSwordGun giving it a flourish before chagrin towards the group of enemies before him, slashing at several of the Ghouls as he made a beeline towards the Manticore Phantom.

Whilst he did this, Witch hung back, grabbing a Wizard Ring off of the chain that hung from her belt she slipped it onto her right hand before reached towards her Wizardriver around her waist and switching the hand plate from left to right before scanning the ring in her right hand

Connect, Please!

No sooner had she done so a magic circle that glowed with purple arcane energy appeared beside her, reaching into the circle Witch produced her new weapon, the WizstaffBreaker, a staff with a blade of similar design to her Noble Phantasm attached to the top appeared, as well as a hand shaped plate similar to the one on her belt located on the pommel.

"Hmm, not bad." Witch said to herself as she examined her new weapon, giving it a twirl before turning her gaze back towards the group of Ghouls that were advancing towards her.

Ducking under the Mooks' attempt to slash at her, with a sway of her hand Witch conjuring several Magical circles from which she unleashed a barrage of magical shots, knocking the swarm of identical Kajin.

Flipping her polearm weapon around she placed her right hand above the hand shaped plate located at the shafts pommel, the weapons causing a standby noise to play.

C'mon, Slash Strike Shake Hands! C'mon, Slash Strike Shake Hands!

Arcane energy gathered along the length of the spear, collecting at the jagged length of the Rule Breaker shaped blade, extending it outwards slightly.

Witch, Slash Strike! MAHOU-MAHOU, MAHOU-MAHOU-MAHAOU!

Twirling her weapon, Witch flipped the spear blade side up before unleashing a horizontal slash, unleashing a wave of energy that caught the group of Ghouls that surrounded her, resulting in each of them being engulfed in an explosion.

Meanwhile, whilst Witch had engaged the Ghouls, Wizard was once again locked in battle with the Manticore Phantom, the light of the moon above reflecting off of his WizSwordGun as he slashed the Phantom across the chest, sparks radiating off of him as the Kaijin stumbled back a few steps.

"Damn you Mahōtsukai," The Phantom growled, fixing the magical Rider with a hateful glare. "You and that Witch, you're both getting on my nerves."

"I don't give a damn what you think of me," Wizard retorted, pointing his sword towards his opponent. "There's no way in hell that I'm gonna let you harm Michizuri, I will protect both her life and her hope."

"You really shouldn't make statements like that, especially since you won't be able to make good on it. I'm gonna kill you and once I'm done that, I'm gonna find that little girl and personally drag that Phantom of her out of her's." The Kaijin retorted. "Maybe I should keep you just alive enough so that you can see it with your own eyes."

With the squad of Ghouls defeated, Witch looked over in the direction where her Master and the Manticore Phantom were fighting and charged their direction towards, as she drew closer, she raised the her WizarStaffBreaker and, once she was close enough, slashing the Manticore Phantom across the back, causing him to let out a cry of pain.

"Damn you…" The Manticore Phantom snarled, turning to face Witch who was standing behind him, and went to slash at her with one of his clawed hands.

Reacting quickly, Witch ducked underneath the Kaijin's attempt, as she did so she delivered a horizontal slash with the WizarStaffBreaker, the jagged blade catching him in the midsection, forcing the mythological based Kajin to stumble back a few steps.

Seeing his chance, Wizard quickly changed the WizarSwordGun into its gun mode and aimed it at the Manticore Phantom, the creature turning its head to look at him as he did so, and fired off several shots that stuck the Phantom in the chest, forcing it back a few more steps.

Wizard flipped open the hand-like plate attached to the weapon and scanned the Hurricane Ring whilst at the same time Witch waved her hand and conjured up four magical sigils.

Hurricane, Shooting Strike! FU-FU, FU-FU-FU!

Wizard then pointed his WizarSwordGun at his opponent, the barrel of which now glowed with green energy, and both Gem based Riders unleashed a barrage of magical shots at the Kaijin, the force of the barrage sending him flying backwards and crashing to the ground.

"Hmm, not bad." Witch commented, glancing over at Wizard. "That move of yours was very well timed, it's good for a Master and Servant to be in sync with each other."

"I'm glad we're on the same page then." Wizard replied, as he did so he grabbed his Flame Ring and slipped it onto his left hand and scanned it, once more assuming his Flame Style.

Flame, Please! HI-HI, HI-HI-HI!

Whilst both Magical Riders bantered with each other, the Manticore Phantom was picking itself back off of the ground "Onore Mahōtsukai…" He snarled, fixing the pair with a hate fuelled glare.

"I must say, I'm enjoying myself." Witch told the fallen Kaijin. "I suppose I should thank you for making my big debut such a big success."

"All The same, it's time we end this." Wizard added. "I won't let this thing hurt Michizuri or anyone else."

"Finale…" Both Magical Riders announced as the two of them shifted the hand plates on their Drivers to the right and scanned the Wizard Ring that they both wore.

Chōīne, Kick Strike! SAIKŌ!

Both Wizard and Witch performed a twirl, the magic circle beneath their feet emanating a red glow as they did so, before lunging towards the Manticore Phantom, executing a few flips and handstands and they moved forward, flaming energy gathering around Wizards feet whilst Witches began to glow with purple energy, before both of them launched themselves into the air.

Both Magical Riders executed a flying dropkick towards the Manticore Phantom, fiery red and purple energy radiating from their respective outstretched foot that collided with the Phantom, its body crackling with energy as it stumbled backwards a few steps before, letting out a final cry, it was engulfed in a large explosion of magical energy.

"Fui." Wizard sighed, his shoulders slumping now that the battle was over.

"Hmmm, I think that went pretty well." Witch said, sounding pleased with herself. "I believe we can call my big debut a big success."

Wizard did not respond at first, instead turning his gaze towards the moon that hung in the night sky. "So, you were able to copy my belt and rings." He said, "How long have you been hiding that from me?"

Witch looked over at him. "I wanted to surprise you and, given how well you were faring, now seemed like a good time to reveal it." She replied. "Why, are you mad that I stepped in to aid you?"

"It's not like that, I appreciate the help." Wizard replied, letting out a sight before he turned to look at her. "No more surprises, ok, if we're going to work together then it's best if we're honest with each other."

Neither of them spoke after that, an awkward fell over both Master and Servant. "Anyway, I should look in on Tohsaka and Mitsuzuri, let them know that it's now safe." Wizard spoke up. "Caster, you should probably head back to the house now. I don't want Tohsaka finding out that I'm working with a Servant, at least not yet."

Witch narrowed her eyes as her face took on a serious expression beneath her helmet. "You can't keep putting this off Shirou, the little girl is already suspicious about me." She told the Ruby encrusted Rider. "One way or another she's going to find out the truth, especially since as a member of the Tohsaka clan, there's an almost 100% likelihood that she's one of the chosen Masters for the upcoming Holy Grail War."

"I know, I know." Wizard groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Just not yet though, once she's summoned her own Servant, I'll come clean. that way she can't accuse us of trying to target her before the damn thing starts."

"Also, you being able to transform into a Rider, it's probably a good idea to keep that a secret for the moment. That way we can pull it out as a secret Trump Card if we ever need to."

"Secret Trump Card huh," Witch said, rubbing the part of her helmet where her chin would be, letting out a small chuckle. "Yes, that does sound like it could be fun."

A flash of light then emanated off of Witches body as her armor suddenly vanished off of her body, leaving Medea of Colis standing there.

"See you at home Shirou." The blue haired Greek Servant of the Spell said to Wizard before she vanished from view, the subtle sound of chimes filling the air as she did so, leaving Wizard standing there.

Wizard stood there for a few seconds, staring at the spot Caster had been moments before he turned in his heel and began walking in the direction Rin had taken off in with Ayako in tow.

AN And like that another instalment in this little project is fini and for this one we return to Kamen Rider Wizard, yeah its certainly been a while since we were last here.

Quite a bit has happened since the first instalment. Shirou is aware of the Holy Grail War, which they are on the cusp of, and had made an official contract with Medea. Medea is aware of the existence of the Phantoms and has been introduced to Wagima and Miyu. Lastly Rin, after her own encounter with the Phantoms at the beginning, she's joined Shirou in dealing with them, although she's currently not aware of Caster's existence and had yet to summon her own Servant, so no Saber just yet, she and Archer would however show up in the next couple of chapters.

Like I said waaay back in the first Wizard instalment, according to an old episode of HJU Radio, during the early part of Wizard there was supposedly a rumour going around that Wizard's Secondary Rider going to be a character with the mantle of Kamen Rider Witch which according leaks sounded a lot like Mayu, aka the Medusa Phantoms younger sister, but she was instead swapped out demoted for Beast/Nitoh.

I'm not sure if that rumor is true or not, I never heard about at the time the show was airing, then again I wasn't really involved in the online discussion by that point, plus these shows go though a lot of development in regards to the shows concept and toys go through before their even revealed to the public, so the idea of switching out your Secondary Rider at the last minute seems pretty unlikely.

Still, even if its not true that doesn't mean I can't play around with the idea of Kamen Rider Witch for this story, leading us to the events of this chapter, the big debut of Kamen Rider Witch Mahou Style.

I get that once she transforms Caster becomes she acts very different to how she dose normally, its her channelling her younger/Lily self. Plus Caster's been through enough crap in her life, let the woman have some fun. Also as to how Caster just conjured a Belt for herself as stated in the chapter above, as a Mage from the Age of Gods, it was pretty much child's play for her to copy Shirou's Driver and Wizard Rings.

Unlike Wizard, Witch doesn't get different Elemental Styles or an equivalent to Wizard's Dragon forms but much later on she dose get her own Final Form called Magistus Style as well as a pair of guns similar to Dekared's D-Magnums called the Argo-Magum and Naught-Magnum that can combine with each other into a larger and more powerful weapon called the Argonaut Buster.

Last time I mentioned that I was kicking around ideas for a new chapter based on Zero-One and well since then I wrote up a whole new chapter and have uploaded it here to the site so look forward to that. Plus I've got several different chapter ideas in the works. One of those ideas is for an Fate/Ex-Aid crossover chapter, since I've a been in an Ex-Aid mood lately, along with a new proper chapter for Gaim well as having that new Zi-O chapter which is still in the works.

Outside of this project I recently finished watching Lupinranger Vs Pataranger as well as Strongest Battle. One thing that surprised me while watching was how Keiichiro/Pataren 1 ended up being the best character in the show and is honestly now one of my favourite Red Rangers. Based on the first few episodes you probably think that he's gonna be this shows Jan or Lucky, y'know the character who your gonna hate for the whole show but instead Keiichiro came as one of the shows best characters over the course of the show you see how he grows as a character. Over the course of the show we see that he's more than just anger that underneath it is someone who genuinely wants to help people as demonstrated by him wanting to help Kairi at the end of the show.

Same goes for Tsukasa and Sakuya, sure it might not be to the same degree as Keiichiro, but by the end of the show you get a good idea who they are as people beyond just them being members of a police based Sentai who fight for peace and justice.

That's not to say that Kairi, Toma and Umika are bad characters, they are without a doubt the emotional heart of the show, its just while the show blatantly favours them, giving them way more screen time, the emotional backstory and motivation they need to steal back the Lupin Collection as well as all the toys, IMO the Pats are the true MVP's of show, doing more withe time that they are given.

As for Strongest Battle, eh it was ok. We got to see Yamato, aka the best Red Ranger of the 2010's, and Kagura, ToQger is criminally underrated, again which was pretty cool. Personally I wish that Keiichiro had stayed around longer, not saying he had to stick around until the very end but him getting knocked out right at the start felt like a waste. You could have at least let him have a scene of him meeting up with Kruger before he gets eliminated, ah what a massive missed opportunity, but nooo we needed to devote more time to Marvelous being a dick. Still for what it was it was pretty ok send off for the Heisei era of Super Sentai plus serve as a bridge for Ryusolger.

Meanwhile King-Ohger things are certainly picking up, first we were finally introduced to the one responsible for the Fury of the Gods. Of all the new villains Gordi might just be the scariest, not just because of his ability to revive and manipulate the dead but just because of his demeanour. And then Jeramie's mother has suddenly returned and, given that she appeared in the same episode that Gordi was introduced in I had a sinking feeling that she was already be dead and was raised by him like he did with Rita's predecessor.

Right now we've gotten what the first of what looks like a two episode crossover with Kyoryuger to celebrate its tenth anniversary (Oh geeze, its been ten years since Kyoryuger aired 😰). As someone who enjoyed Kyoruger back in the day its pretty cool to see the characters again and while not perfect watching Gira and the King-Ohgers interact with them was neat. plus I thought how they managed to tie the two shows together by having the Galactinsects be responsible for reviving Deboth and Debo Senking was a pretty cool looking suit being a fusion of all the Deboth Generals.

Only part I wasn't too sure about was the new character Prince who may or may not be Daigo and Amy's kid from either the future or an alternative timeline, we'll probably find out in the next episode. If you ever wanted to see what Daigo would have been like if he was played someone other than Ryusei Ryo I think we now know. Still the fight he had with Gira as well as when they fought together at the end of the episode was pretty cool to watch.

With Lupat finished I've chosen Kiramager as the next Sentai to watch cos why not. Only seen Episode Zero so far, while the episode itself wasn't anything too special I gotta say it was a pretty effective means to set up the premises of the series as not to bog down the first episode with exposition.

Oh and Gotchard is still a thing, honestly there's not much to talk about right, Hotaro is pretty meh as a character so far and Spanner is an aloof douche who we're supposed to think is cool and has some kind of relationship with Rinne. Honestly the biggest development thus far is that we potentially know the name of our Big Bad, Geryon, the Dark Sister's Master whose trapped behind the Dark Door and the Gotchard Driver is the key they need to free them. Gotchard is still in its early phase so hopefully things will pick up around the time crossover with Geats is dropped.

Anywho, I think that this is a good place to stop. As always feel free to leave a review and tell me what you thought of this one and I'll see you all next time for the Halloween chapter for 2023 instalment of this project.

Till next time, peace out y'all.
