Gekijōban Fate/Kaigan: Fate/ALTER

A deep frown had etched itself into Shirou's face as he and Specter sped along the panicked streets of Fuyuki, the engines of both their bikes filled the air as they passed by many of the surrounding buildings sporting damage and debris lining the roads.

Not half an hour ago he and his companions been at the base of the long staircase that led up to Ryuudou Temple with the intention of confronting both Kirei and Gilgamesh and settling things with them, that was until Lancer altered them to some kind of commotion going on back in town.

From their view point they'd watched as a distortion suddenly appeared in the area of Fuyuki Park, the air shimmering and rippling like water, from which a large tower-like structure emerged, standing tall amongst the city's skyline.

In leu of this six of them had set out to investigate, as much as it pained them they'd just have to hope that both Sakura and Illya could hold out a little longer, the sound of terror filling the air, that was until they had arrived when all of a sudden it had gone deadly silent, the only sound to be heard was the roar of the two bike engines that they rode upon.

Passing through the area Shirou felt Tohsaka's arms around his waist tighten slightly, he didn't look back, he didn't have to, that small gesture was enough to tell him that she was unnerved by the devastation that surrounded them.

She caught sight of something in the corner of her eye, turning her head to get a better look at what it could be. What Rin saw was a streak of red energy that made its way through the air which all of a sudden changed its trajectory and seemed to be headed right for them. "Emiya, look out…"

A streak of red energy tore itself through the air, and aimed itself towards them at great speed, the projectile coated in a swirling mass of red energy seemingly locked onto them as it would shift its trajectory no matter how many times the rust haired ghost would swerve it an attempt to avoiding it.

As the red projectile drew closer and closer all of a sudden Saber appeared before the speeding vehicle, gripping both the handle and the blade of her sword as she held it out in front of her to intercept the incoming projectile, a gritted toothed snarl spreading itself across her face as she attempted to force it back.

"S…Saber…!" Shirou exclaimed as both he and Rin stared at her in wide eyed shock as he swerved to avoid hitting her, quickly applying the brakes before the bike skidded to a halt.

"Do…do not concern yourself with me," Saber replied, her voice strained as fought against the projectile that in turn was pushing against her, her feet slipping slightly before she was able to catch herself before she could hold it back no longer, knocked off of her feet and sending her rocketed backwards and slammed into an abandoned car, the projectile averting course and flying off back towards the sky.

"Saber…" Shirou exclaimed, "Saber, are you alright?"

Just as they dismounted the bike the sound of gunfire filled the air before a barrage of projectiles impacted the tarmac in front of them, small pieces of debris and small dust clouds off of it.

A figure dropped down from above, landing on the ground in a crouched pose. "Is…is that a Servant?" Shirou heard one of the others mutter as he and his companions watched as the new arrival slowly rose up to their full height.

The stranger raised their head, giving Shirou's group a good look at his face, all of them shocked as they saw who he was.

Before them stood a tall man, his skin unnaturally dark, his flesh marred in places by what looked like crack like scarring, through which a sickly golden light ebbed beneath it.

It stepped forward with emotionless, mechanical precision, muscles rippling under the skin of its arms… and in each hand he held a large oversized pistol that had a familiar looking curved blade attached to it, one black and the other white.

More than that it was his face that was most disturbing, the top of his head adorned by a white peach like fuzz adorning the top of their head, his eyes staring back at the party of six, his twin golden orbs with a cold and dead looking, seemingly no soul or life behind them.

"A…A…Archer?" Rin exclaimed as she stared at the dark skinned figure that stood before them, an impassive look on his face as he stared back at them with his cold dead eyes.

"N…no way," Lancer said, clearly shocked at the sight of the man whom he fought in the Grail War. "What the hell's happened to him?"

All of a sudden a pair of dark figures appeared, both of them dropping down from one of the ruined buildings and each of them landing on either side of 'Archer's' who didn't even seem to acknowledge their presence.

Locking her gaze upon one of them, Saber's eyes suddenly widened at the figure standing across from her, a look of horror appearing on her face as she saw standing across from her was an individual who looked almost identical to herself.

The doppelganger's skin was unnaturally pale, with dark veins visible on her cheeks, hair that was a dull blond and sporting cold golden eyes. Their form clad in black armor and in one of her hands she wielded a black claymore that had red engraving that ran the length of its blade.

Likewise, Lancer had a similar reaction as he took in the sight of someone who looked remarkably similar to himself, was coated from the neck down in jagged black war steel, gloves and boots in particular tipped with vicious hooks and spikes. His hair was jet black, and a half-mask covered his eyes, leaving the impression he was a piece of the night come alive, save for one very noticeable spot of white... his teeth, bared in a grin that bore a strong resemblance to one a deep-sea swimmer might see rushing toward them when blood was in the water. his head covered by a hood with red markings on his face, a cruel looking blade attached to the shaft of his weapon.

Extending one of his hands out the same projectile that had hounded both Shirou and Rin as well as resulted in half burying Saber in the body work of a car reappeared, flowing into his outstretched hand revealing itself to be a vicious black and red lance.

The wall of a nearby building suddenly exploded creating a large smoking hole from which emerged the fourth and final member of this familiar yet twisted looking group, this one towering over their companions.

Parts of her body adorned in golden scales that coated her arms, legs and neck. several serpent-like creatures protruding from the tips of her long lavender coloured hair. Yet despite this what stood out the most was her face, looking remarkably similar to Rider in appearance.

The four looked as if they were about to advance towards Shirou, Rin, Saber, Lancer and Rider when the sound of gunfire, sparks and smoke erupting off of the ground in front of them.

Moments later the sound of an engine was heard catching everyone's attention, looking over both parties were met by the sight of Specter riding towards them, holding the still smoking Gan Gun Hand towards the party of darkened Servants as he brought his bike to a halt.

"Specter…" Shirou said as he watched the man who shared his father's face dismounted his bike.

"Shirou," The messy haired Shinigami replied, his gaze fixed upon the party of rogue Servants in front of him. "I take it that these are the ones responsible for all this mess?"

"Look that way." Rin replied, a frown in her face. "Still that doesn't explain what they're doing here. The Holy Grail only allows for seven Servants to be summoned in a Grail War, also where are their Masters, I want to give the people who ordered them to wreck my city a piece of my mind."

Suddenly a strange looking mist seemed to roll in from behind the group of four Servants, noticing all of whom looked back before moving aside, as if standing at attention as from the mist a trio of figures emerged, two of whom had their heads covered by hoods.

Specter's face twisted itself into a scowl as he recognised one of them. "Necrom…" He growled.

Hearing his name uttered, the man that wore the face of Tohsaka Tokiomi chuckled. "Yo, Specter." He greeted his former subordinate. "I can tell by the look on your face that you're surprised to see me. bet you weren't expecting to see me again."

The bearded man then shifted his gaze towards Saber. "Ah Saber, my cute little playing." He said in a jovial tone, flashing the blond Servant a grin. "How lovely to see you again."

Saber said nothing as the frown etched into her face deepened as her eyes narrowed and low growl escaped from her as she watched him approach, recalling everything that this man had had her do while under his control, fully conscious but unable to resist. Made a prisoner in her own body while made to carry out his wishes.

While she couldn't read the thoughts of her two fellow Servants, she didn't doubt that both Lancer and Rider felt just ill towards this man as she did.

"How the hell did you survive?" Specter demanded, "Last time we saw you was in Fuyuki Park when we freed Saber and the other Servants from your control and defeated you."

"I'm not so easily killed Specter, I figured you of all people should know that. Although I have to admit you did get me pretty good." Necrom replied casually, flashing his former subordinate a grin. "Thankfully my new companions were able to pluck me from the void just as I succumbed to oblivion."

"That's enough Necrom, do not forget our true purpose in this world." One of the hooded figures spoke up, cutting Necrom off from saying anything else. "Patience, you will have your chance to settle your vendetta."

"But of course, my lady." Necrom replied, his voice filled with mock humility.

"Wait, that voice," Rin muttered to herself, her eyes suddenly widening as a stunned look appeared in her face. "It…it can't be…?"

A smile appeared on the mysterious figure's face as they reached up and took hold of their hood, pulling it back to reveal the familiar face of Matou Sakura, however both her hair and eye were silver rather than the more familiar purple.

"It's been some time," Sakura addressed Rin, a playful yet at the same time unnerving smile gracing her lips. "Onee-san."

"S…Sakura…" Shirou stammered, it took a few seconds but suddenly something that she'd said registered itself in his brain, quickly turning his head to look at Rin. "Wait, why did she call you Onee-san?"

"Oh, don't you know Emiya-san, has no one told you?" Dark Sakura said, seemingly amused by his ignorance. "Before I was taken in as part of the Matou family my original name was Tohsaka Sakura, making dear Rin here my older sister."

"S…sisters?" Shirou exclaimed, shocked at what he had just learned. Sakura was a Tohsaka, Sakura and Rin were sisters. Quickly turning his head, he looked over at Tohsaka, in doing so he saw met by a look of guilt on her face.

So taken aback by this the rust haired ghost almost missed something, something else that she had said.

"Wait," He muttered as he turned his attention back to the silver haired Sakura. "Sakura, you referred to me as Emiya-san instead of Senpai."

A smile spread across Dark Sakura's face, giving him a small chuckle before she turned her head to look at the hooded figure on her right. "Senpai, there's no need to be shy." She told them. "Why don't you introduce yourself."

"As you wish, my Master…" The stranger replied, their voice devoid of any emotion, before pulling back his hood, revealing his face to the group before him, his appearance causing Shirou's eyes to widen and a shocked look to appear on his face as he saw…himself.

Standing there was a second Emiya Shirou, his appearance not dissimilar from how Archer had looked, tanned skin white hair and cold grey eyes.

"Shirou, that person over there, he looks like you." Saber commented, "But, he also somewhat resembles Archer…"

Shirou didn't answer her, he was too shocked by what he was seeing to say anything. Seeing this vision of himself he recalled what Archer told him, how the tanned skinned Servant was supposedly a future version of himself. A man that achieved the power needed to save people only to have his dream of becoming a hero warped and twisted in the process.

Could it be that the visage that stood before them was an omen of what he would become? A fate that he was powerless to escape no matter how hard he tried?

"Just…just who are you people?" the rust haired teen said.

"Well that's easy, my new friends have come from another universe." Necrom spoke up. "They figured that obtaining their own Earth's Holy Grail wasn't enough for them, now they and their Servants jump from universe to universe in their Grail Ship."

"Another universe?" Saber exclaimed. "You mean to tell me that other versions of this world exist?"

Dark Sakura let out a small chuckle. "This version of Saber appears to be quite the dullard. Of course parallel worlds exist." She said, "Zelretch's Kaleidoscope, the embodiment of Second Magic, is proof of that."

"Say I believe you, that they've come here from a parallel world, that still doesn't explain what you're doing here," Rin said sternly. "What do you want from us?"

Sakura chuckled. "That is quite simple, Onee-san," She told Rin. "We have arrived for the sole purpose of obtaining this World's Holy Grail, just as we have done on the other worlds we have visited."

"You want our Holy Grail?" Saber asked.

"That is correct, once we have claimed it, we shall simply move on to the next world." Dark Sakura said innocently before a sly smile spread across her lips. "Of course, using its power to move on will result in your world's destruction, however that's not really our concern."
"What a second," Lancer spoke up. "Did you really just say that you're going to destroy our planet?"

"That is correct." Dark Sakura told the Irish Servant.

"And you really expect us to just hand it over to you?" Saber said, her tone firm.

Necrom began laughing. "You make it sound like you're being given a choice." He said, "Whether you surrender it willingly or we take it by force matters little, one way or another your Grail will be ours."

Dark Sakura then turned to look at the tanned skinned Shirou that was at her side. "Senpai…" She said to him in a sing-song-like tone.

"Yes my Master." Dark Shirou said, his voice monotone and emotionless as he placed both hands above his waist, a Ghost Driver appeared there in a flash of energy, he then reached into his tunic and produced an Eyecon, clicking the button on the side and loaded it into his Driver.

EYE: BATCHIRIMINA…BATCHIRIMINA…

All of a sudden, a black and white Parka ghost emerged from the front of his Ghost Driver, the jacket themed apparition filtering about before it hovered above him.

"Necrom, you should go too." Dark Sakura told the bearded man on her left. "I give you permission to catch up with your old friend?"

"Of course my lady…" Necrom replied, smirking as a Ghost Driver appeared around his waist, he then revealed a Necrom Eyecon, one that looked slightly different than the one he had used before, and placed it into the belt.

EYE: BATCHIRIMIYĀ…BATCHIRIMIYĀ…

Much like with Dark Shirou, a Parka Ghost emerged from the eye hole located on the front plate of Necrom's Driver, this one being black with golden trim as well as what looked like flame-like protrusion attached to the shoulders.

"Henshin…"/"Henshin…" Both Dark Shirou and Necrom announced, the tanned skinned words said in a flat lifeless tone while the bearded man sneered, both of them gripped the handle located on the side of their Drivers and pulled it.

KAIGAN: DARK RIDER! YAMI NI CHIKARA! WARUI YATSURA! (Bell chimes)

YUJOIKAIGAN: BURST! ORERA BURST! YUJOU FIGHT! TOMETE MISERU ZE OMAE NO TSUMI O!

Standing there was a pair of ghostly Riders. One of whom looked similar to Ghost, however the detailing on the armor on him was white rather than orange and the pair of eye lenses were similar in design to those Toucon Boost.

The other was a new form of Necrom, his new hood black and gold hood adding gold to areas of his usual white, green and black body suit.

Seeing the pair of dark Riders standing both Shirou and Specter tensed up for a mk,ent before both of them summoned their own Ghost Drivers as well as taking out their respective Eyecons, loading them into the devices around their waists.

"Henshin…"/"Henshin…" Both Shirou and Specter announced, their armored bodysuits materializing on them and their respective Parka ghosts draping themselves over their head and shoulders to complete their transformation into their Rider forms.

KAIGAN: ORE! LETS GO! KAKUGO! GO GO GO! GHOST! GO! GO! GO!

KAIGAN: SPECTER! READY, GO! KAKUGO! DOKI DOKI GHOST!

"Ohhh, it seems like they want to play." Sakura said as she took in the sight of both Ghostly Riders, a disturbing grin spreading itself across her lips. "That's good, it's always more interesting when they resist, futile as it may be."

"Master…" The pale skinned version of Saber spoke up, hearing her voice the silver haired version of Sakura looked towards the Servant clad in black armor, despite her stoic features she quickly noticed the look of eagerness in her eyes.

"Fu fu fu, but of course, it would be cruel of me to deny you." The silver haired teen chuckled, stretching her arm out in front of her. "Saber. Archer. Berserker. Avenger, go. Go rampage to your heart's content. Drown this city in its own blood."

Both the dark versions of Saber and Cu seemed to bristle with excitement at hearing this order while Archer and Gorgon maintained composed stoicism.

"Mission…Start…" Archer spoke up, his tone robotic and lifeless, levelling his twin pistols and fired off a volley of gunfire at Ghost's group while Saber ALTER and Cu ALTER charged forward to engage them, Necrom following after them while both Dark Ghost and Gorgon instead slowly walked forward.

Seeing that their opponents were advancing towards them, Ghost, Specter and the three Servants who were accompanying them quickly readied their respective weapons before the black and orange Rider and the trio of Servants dashed forward to engage their dark counterparts while Specter made a beeline towards Necrom.

In the blink of an eye, Saber was standing before her pale skinned counterpart, swinging her sword she attempted to slash at her, her dark counterpart blocking her attempt with her own weapon, the air was filled by a loud clang as the two blades connected with one another.

Again and again the two identical Servants swung their swords at one another in an attempt to slash or stab the other only for their opponent to either avoid or block their attempt. Neither seemingly able to overpower the other.

As the two Saber's locked blades once again, Saber glared at her dark reflection, as she did so a gleeful look spread itself across her pale face before she began cackling like a madwoman, something that Saber found disturbing.

"I knew it, I knew you wouldn't disappoint." Saber ALTER said, leaning her face in closer towards Saber who backed up slightly, taken aback by her counterparts' words. "Killing regular people gets boring, it's always more fun when you get to go up against someone worthwhile, it makes killing them all the more satisfying."

"Cease this foolishness, there is no point in us fighting like this." Saber retorted. "If you truly are another me then you must see the futility in all this senseless violence, the loss of life. Were you not a King who swore to defend our people from all that would do them harm?"

The gleeful look on Saber ALTER's face faded, rolling her eyes as a look of boredom. "You're still obsessing over that? How boring you are." She scoffed. "Lives of the people, who gives a rat's ass about that. All that responsibility and nobility, it gets in the way of having actual fun, like killing."

Again, Saber was shocked by her opponent's words. Who was this person, she linked like her and yet she seemed to lack all the traits in herself that she took great effort in upholding. This person, she was…repulsive.

"Do…do you find joy in killing?" She asked, a slight quiver in her voice appearing for just a moment before she caught herself.

"Killing, I don't just like killing…I love it." Saber ALTER replied, her grin widening to a disturbing degree, "Thanks to travelling the multiverse I can kill and kill and kill as much as I want. Innocent or guilty, young or old. Man, woman or child, nothing turns me on more than butchering them all."

"You…you are disturbed…" Saber said, shocked and reviled by her counterparts' words. "What could have happened to make you like this?"

"Mou, you're such a prude. I can't believe I used to be just like you." Saber ALTER groaned. "The difference is that I stopped pretending to give a shit about worthless crap like honor and responsibility long ago, now I get to do whatever I want. I can go where I want. Kill who I want and fuck what I want."

The pale skinned woman then cocked her head to the side, flashing Saber an unnerving smile. "In fact, nothing turns me on more than getting to kill different versions of myself, it's like experiencing the greatest orgasm.

"You…you are truly deranged." Saber exclaimed, the look on her opponent's face sending a shiver down her spine. "Those people, all those lives, how can anyone take such perverse pleasure in such brutal acts of carnage?"

"The people, fuck the people." Saber ALTER began laughing, as if Saber had said the funniest thing she'd ever heard. "Who gives a shit about a bunch of worthless peasants. It's not like you ever did. We are King, everyone below us exists to be nothing more than our play things. They exist to be taxed, beaten and slaughtered for our amusement. King. No, not King, WE ARE GOD!"

Saber's spine tingled in terror at her dark reflection's words. Who was this person, what exactly could have happened that she'd turned out this way.

Meanwhile Lancer too was engaged with his own counterpart, at present his twisted doppelganger was currently on the offensive, stabbing manically while the Irish Servant did his best to avoid him, ducking, diving and dodging in an attempt to avoid being impaled by his opponents vicious looking weapon, the line of vicious looking spikes that protruded from its shaft.

Could the weapon his opponent wielded even be called a spear at this point?

Grasping the shaft of his Gae Bulg in both hands, quickly Lancer raised the weapon, catching one of the spines that protruded from his weapon and preventing his opponent's weapon from getting any closer, the tip of the spear mere inches from his face.

This however did little to slow his opponents offense, a crazed sounding laugh escaped the twisted looking reflection of the Irish Hero as repetitively thrust his weapon at Lancer, the spine catching each time on the shaft of Gae Bulg until a dent started to form.

"Fight…fight…fight…" Cu ALTER said, grinning maniacally as he repeatedly attempted to stab at Lancer. "Fight…fight..fight…fightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfightfight…"

"Damn…" Lancer muttered to himself, visibly disturbed by his opponent. "I like to fight as much as the next Servant, but this guy…"

Again and again Cu ALTER thrust his spear forward, each time the treacherous spine that prevented him from thrusting it any further bending more and more until it could take no more and it snapped, Lancer barely managing to drop down out if the way as not to be impaled.

Seemingly unphased, Cu ALTER once more attempted to stab at Lancer, the blue haired Servant rolling out of the way, slashing at his counterparts legs with his weapons blade, stepping back to avoid, taking the chance to put some distance between the two of them before quickly getting back to his feet.

"Damnit, this guy…" Lancer muttered to himself, readying himself for his opponent's next assault.

However it didn't come, instead Cu ALTER stood his ground, grasping the weapons shaft in both hands as he fixed his gaze Lancer, his crimson orb reflecting his blood lust.

All of a sudden the oversized spear blade attached to Cu ALTER's weapon erupted in a dark crimson energy, gathering at the point of the bladed tip as he reared it back, ready to hurl it at Lancer.

Realising what was coming Lancer turned on his heel and ran, as he did so his counterpart swung his arm forward, releasing his hold on the spear and sending it flying, the spined laden spear cutting through the air at great speed as it sped towards Lancer's retreating form.

Even without seeing it, Lancer could practically feel the energy that radiated off of the incoming projectile that was cleaving the air as it sped towards him. In a weird way it was kind of nostalgic for him. Last time he'd been on the receiving end of Gae Bulg had been when he'd been training under his teacher.

Still Lancer knew that this was not the time to be nostalgic. Calling on every last bit of his speed he did his best to stay ahead of the vicious looking spear, knowing better than anyone the full well the consequences if he were to be impaled by it.

As he ran the form of a tall Highrise building rose up to meet him as the twisted looking spear inched closer and closer. Lancer's brows furrowing as he considered his options, this plan was honestly bad and he knew it but if he did nothing he was as good as dead. if this was going to work he'd need to time it just right.

Just as it seemed like the Irish Servant was about to collide headlong into the side of the building Lancer leapt upwards, extending a leg forward to push himself off of the wall where he back flipped up and over the twisted version of Gae Bulg before he landed back on the ground while the glowing spear collided with the building, cracks forming from the point of impact which resulted in a shower of debris falling to the street below, the Child of Light once more on the move in an effort to not be crushed by the falling debris.

Meanwhile Cu ALTER hadn't moved from his spot, having observed the length his counterparts had gone to escape his spear. Extending one of his arms out in front of him, as if by some unseen force, the twisted looking version of Gae Bulg began twitching before suddenly dislodging itself from the side of the building and sped towards its owner as it was called back to him.

Seeing this a new idea took form in Lancer's head, channelling his power, the blue haired Servant launched himself at his opponent, pushing himself to move faster knowing that he needed to reach his reflection before his weapon could get back to him, drawing closer and closer with each passing millisecond.

No sooner had his counterpart grabbed his spear out of the air hold, Lancer thrusted his spear into his counterpart's chest, a large spurt of blood erupts from his wound, holding it there for a few seconds before pulling it free, resulting in more blood gushing from Cu ALTER's wound as he collapses face first to the ground.

Panting heavily Lancer stared down at the unmoving body of his opponent, this person, one who shared his face, fighting him was like facing a wild beast. A beast driven by nothing but blood lust. Just what the hell had happened to make him turn out like this?

Whatever, it didn't matter. Right now, both Saber and Rider were dealing with their own dark counterparts, someone could probably use his assistance right now. Then there was that dark version of Archer, seeing his friend(?) like that both saddened and angered him.

Taking a deep breath Lancer flicked blood off of the blade of his spear before turning on his heel and began walking away.

He'd only managed a few steps when a noise caught the Servant of the Spears' attention, looking over in its direction he was met by the sight of his counterpart crouched on the ground lapped at the pool of blood like a wild dog.

Slowly the ALTER Servant raised his head, looking straight at Lancer, a crazed look on his face as blood dripped from his mouth and chin. "Fiiiiight…"

Nearby Rider was having as much success in dealing with her counterpart as Saber and Lancer were in dealing with theirs.

Presently the Greek Servant she was doing her best to avoid the long purple and red scaled serpent like strands that were woven within her future self's long lavender locks, as they attempted to either trap her within their long coils or snapping at her with their large and deadly looking jaws.

All the while the future version of the lavender haired Servant stood there, her gaze fixed upon Rider as she stood there, a look of contempt on her face, as her serpents tried to trap her.

"Tsk, running," She muttered to herself as she watched as Rider ducked down as one of the purple scaled serpents attempted to latch onto her, its jaws finding nothing but empty air. "Futile…futile…futile…"

Nimbly dodging out of the way one of the serpents attempts to latch onto her, Rider launched herself towards her opponent, clutching the nails that were attached to her chains, her long hair trailing behind her like a comet's tail, preparing to engage her future self whom stared back at her while she stood there unmoving.

As Rider drew closer, all of a sudden several glowing magic circles took form in the air before Gorgon, the sight of which caused Rider to come to a screeching halt just in time to watch as a beam of glowing energy was fired at her.

Seeing the barrage of energy beams being fired at her, Rider turned away and utilizing every last piece of her speed in order to avoid being hit by it, the beam connecting with a nearby building, punching through it as if it were paper.

Rider turned back towards Gorgon and launched her spiked nail at Gorgon who simply stood there, a nonplussed look on her face as the spike drew closer and closer, her hand a blur as she snatched the nail out of the air with ease.

Tightening her grip on the chain mounted spike Gorgon tugged in it, Rider finding herself pulled off of her feet and hurled towards the future version of herself, the taller woman reaching out and snatching Rider out of the air.

"Humans, their scent is all over you…" Gorgon snarled, a look of contempt on her scaled face before she spun round and the lavender haired anti-hero found herself being slammed into the ground, the asphalt cracking under the weight of the impact.

A look of rage on her face, Gorgon repeated this action several more times, the impact crater left behind by Rider's body deepening and widening each time she made contact with the ground before the legendary monster lifted her younger self back up till she was eye level with Gorgon.

"You think living amongst the humans changes anything, that it can change who you are?" Gorgon told her, disgust in her tone. "You can't truly believe that things have changed for you, the amount of blood that is on your hands can never be washed away. You are and will always be the monster that that petty bitch Athena cursed us to be."

As she said these words several of the snake like tendrils rose up and looked directly at Rider, parting their jaws the insides of their mouths began to emanate a glowing purple light before suddenly each one fired a beam of energy, Gorgon releasing her hold on Rider who found herself hurling Rider into the side of a nearby building, much like the road the concrete cracking upon impact, the Servant of the Mount for several moments before she fell forward and fell to the ground below.

Lying there, her body aching and gasping for breath, a shadow fell upon Rider and looking up she found her future self standing there, glaring archer with a look of disgust on her scaled face.

"Your efforts are pointless. No matter how far or fast you run you cannot escape your fate." The Gorgon said bitterly, glaring at her past self whom she towered over. "Your future is set in stone. Will inevitably one day become the monster of legend, you will become me."

Close by Specter aimed his Gan Gun Hand at Necrom who was armed with a Deep Slasher firing several shots at the black, gold and white Rider who easily deflected his opponents with his own weapon.

Letting out a frustrated sounding growl Specter converted his weapon into its Rod Mode, the hand-like attachment located at the top of opening from a fist into an open palm, before attaching his Cobra Keitai to create its Sickle Mode.

His weapon now morphed into its new configuration, Specter moved to engage Necrom again, slashing at his opponent the white Rider who laughed gleefully as he casually ducked out of the way of his attempt, as if he weren't taking this seriously, something that only served to frustrate Specter further.

"What's wrong, Specter," Necrom said, clearly amused by his opponent's frustration. "Seeing you like this makes me think that you're not happy to see me."

"Don't screw with me Necrom and don't think I'm an idiot, I know you too well." Specter snapped back. "I know that you wouldn't be working with these kids if you weren't getting something out of it. What game are you playing?"

"Oh, I have my reasons." Necrom replied coyly. "But you're right, I am getting something, but I think that I'll keep that to myself. It's more fun to see if you can figure it out."

Taking the Deep Slasher, Necrom converted it into its Blaster Form, pointing the weapon at Specter and fired off a barrage of shots, forcing the black and blue Ghost Rider to drop down and roll out of the way.

"Then answer me this," Specter said as he rose back to his feet. "How come Kotomine Kirei has your Eyecon and Mega Ulorder?"

"Oh, the mop haired clergyman and his golden boy toy." Necrom's jovial tone vanished, sounding more like a growl as he recalled his meeting with the Abature of the Grail War and the Uruk King. "Oh, don't you worry, I'll be dealing with those two soon enough."

Gripping the handle of his Gan Gun Saber, Ghost rushed forward to engage his black and white counterpart who in turn was slowly advancing towards him, letting out a cry, Ghost swung his sword at Dark Ghost who, to Ghost's surprise, casually twisted his body out of the way of the black and orange Rider's swing.

Taken aback for just a moment Ghost tried again, attempting another slash at his opponent who again effortlessly managed to avoid his attempt. Undeterred, Ghost tried again, trying for a third time to slash at Dark Ghost, this time his counterpart raising his own sword to intercept Ghost's.

Their weapons locked, the two Ghostly Riders stared at one another, until Dark Ghost unexpectedly kicked Ghost in one of his legs, the sudden act catching Ghost by surprise before taking a quick step backwards away from his opponent.

Siezing his chance, Dark Ghost then slashed Ghost several times before delivering a punch to his midsection, the Ghostly Rider stumbling backwards a few steps.

Recovering from the blows that he'd just taken, Ghost looked up to find Dark Ghost standing over him, the black and white Rider unleashing a vertical slash at Ghost with his sword, reacting quickly Ghost quickly raised his own sword, the two blades colliding with one another with a resounding clang, sparks erupting off of the two weapons as the blades of the two swords grinded against one another.

"Just…just who are you, why do you look like me?" Ghost demanded as he struggled to hold back his opponent who remained silent. "How did you manage to have survived as a ghost for so long. If you're like me then your time limit should have expired long ago."

"I exist solely for the sake of my Master." Dark Ghost said flatly. "I am her tool, an instrument to carry out her will. I have no other reason to exist. I need no other reason to exist."

No sooner had he said this, Dark Ghost threw his full weight behind his sword, knocking Ghost off balance and resulting in him stumbling backwards before losing his balance and falling to the ground.

Seeing that his opponent was down, Dark Ghost pointed his Gan Gun Saber, the weapon now configured into its gun mode, at Ghost and firing off several shots at his black and orange counterpart.

Seeing this, Ghost dropped to the ground and managed to roll out of the way of the incoming projectiles before quickly pushing himself up off of the ground, the faceplate attached to the frog of his helmet suddenly glowing and a swirling mass of orange energy appearing, carrying him ul into the air allowing him to avoid several more shots fired at him by Dark Ghost and carried him a short distance away.

Ghost fixing at his dark counterpart with a hard glare from behind his helmet as his feet touched the ground again pulling out his Toucon Boost Eyecon and clicked the button on the side, a burst of red energy being released from the item which quickly dissipated, and inserted it into his Ghost Driver and pulled the device's lever.

IPPATSU TOUCON EYE: BATCHIRIMINA…BATCHIRIMINA…TOUCON KAIGAN! BOOST! ORE GA BOOST (GO!) FURUITATSU GHOST! (FIGHT!) GO! (FGHT!) GO! (FIGHT!) GO! (FIGHT!)

The Ore Hood vanished from Ghost's body as he was suddenly engulfed in a burst of flames that erupted from his Driver, the flames quickly dying away to reveal that his suit had turned red with black patterns as his new Parka Ghost draped itself over him to complete his look.

Feeling the power of his new form surge through him, Ghost raised his Sunglassslasher and charged at Dark Ghost, the black and white Rider just stood there unmoving, and attempted to slash at him resulting in a loud clang that resonated throughout the area.

To Ghost's surprise, Dark Ghost too was armed with a Sunglassslasher, his counterpart blocking his weapon with his own.

Quickly capitalizing on his opponent's state, Dark Ghost sliced Ghost across the chest with his Sunglassslasher, doing so again before delivering a kick to his midsection that once again sent him sprawling across the ground.

While the three Servants and Ghost were engaging their counterparts and Specter was fighting Necrom, Rin found herself facing off against the Altered version of Archer.

Despite her carefully practised image of a proper Magus, beneath it she was anything but. This was wrong, everything about this abomination that shared the face of her former Servant wrong.

Her system flooded with Prana, her physical attributes pushing themselves beyond anything a normal could achieve, and even then she could barely stay ahead of the dark skinned man as he attempted to slash at her with one of his blade mounted guns.

A man, no. That wasn't correct.

Despite how he looked, this was not a man, this…thing was a machine. Silent. Cold. efficient. Calculating. Soulless.

The way it moved, the way it fought, it did so the way that her Archer had done. But none of it felt authentic to her, in the Heiresses eyes it was nothing more than a well executed but soulless replication of everything that the man's summoned had been.

She couldn't, nay, didn't want to imagine just what this Archer could have gone through to become this.

Regardless, her personal feelings on the matter, unfortunately, were doing anything to keep the creature in question from trying to kill her. The fact of the matter was it was taking just about everything she had just to avoid being cleaved in two by its blades which were swung at her with all the grace and elegance of a butcher.

Fired several dark energy bolts at him only for the ALTER Servant to deflect them with his bladed guns before pointing the weapon at her and opened fire, Rin narrowly avoided the incoming projectiles thanks to her Prana bolstering her body.

This was getting her nowhere. For all her mastery in both her Magecraft as well as of her own body, Rin knew painfully well that she couldn't keep this up forever. She needed some strategy that would let her overcome this abomination before her Prana reserves ran out.

Just then, as she avoided another attempt by the ALTER Servant's attempts to slash at her, a flash of inspiration hit her, recalling the encounter Ghost had had with both Archer and Lancer at the school on that night so long ago now.

As Archer ALTER attempted to once more cut her down, this time, instead of ducking or leaning to the side, Rin jumped upwards and performed a perfect somersault in midair extending her hand out to towards the ground where she then cartwheeled backwards several times to put some distance between her and Archer ALTER.

Taking a deep breath Rin readied herself, if she was going to pull this off it would require both precise timing as well as a sizable amount of luck.

Channeling her Prana into her legs Rin dashed forward towards her opponent before dripping to the ground, attempting to replicate the manoeuvre that Ghost had pulled on Archer, allowing her momentum to carry her forward, aiming her hand at the ALTER Servant and fired multiple Gandr shots at him, each of them striking it in the chest and one catching him in the forehead causing him to stagger backwards, his back arch in an unnatural position.

Coming to a halt, Rin took in the sight of Archer ALTER standing there, his back arched painfully backwards. That was until he suddenly straightened back up, rolling fist his neck and then his shoulders before looking at Rin dead on, the look in his dead eyes sending a tingle of fear down her spine.

'Damn…' Quickly rising to her feet, Rin focused all of her Prana into her legs, her magical energies bolstering her speed.

Seeing his target attempting to put distance between herself and him, Archer ALTER pointed his weapons at her and fired, the bullet cutting through the air as it raced towards her, Rin's eyes widened and a look of shock appeared on her face as the projectile grazed her leg, she fell to the ground.

Nearby Ghost was once more locking weapons with his counterpart when he noticed the situation that Tohsaka heiress was in, seeing Archer ALTER was slowing raising one of his bladed guns towards her

"TOHSAKA!" Ghost cried, she'd never get up in time to escape Archer ALTER's bullets before she could get to her feet.

Kicking his opponent in the chest to force him back Ghost leapt into the air, a swirling mass of orange energy appearing around his body and carrying him through the air and toads Rin's position and landed in front of her just as Archer ALTER pulled the trigger on his sword guns and unleashed a barrage of gunfire that the ghostly Rider used his body to block.

"EMIYA!" Rin cried out as Ghost dropped to the ground, the black and orange Rider crying out in pain as he lay there. He might not be able to die however that did not mean that he couldn't still feel pain.

"To…Tohsaka…" Ghost winced as he attempted to sit up, "Are…are you alright?"

"Damnit Emiya," Rin said as she checked on Ghost, concern evident in her voice. "Why do you have to be so reckless?"

"You are a fool, putting the lives of others ahead of your own if truly foolish." Dark Ghost said as he approached, standing alongside Archer ALTER. "Trying to save everyone is pointless, you will only end up destroying yourself in the end. I have dedicated myself solely to my Master, fighting for her sake is my sole reason for being."

A pained groan escaped Ghost as all parties found themselves once more drawn together. Their respective opponents looming over them.

"Damn, that guy…" Lancer muttered, "I knew being Heroic Spirit I'd get to fight all sorts of strong opponents but damn, last person I ever thought I'd fight was another version myself. Twisted as they may be."

"There is an old saying Lancer," Saber replied while keeping her attention fixed upon her counterpart as she approached. "'Your greatest opponent is ultimately yourself'."

"I don't think whoever said that meant it this literally." Lancer retorted, letting out a frustrated groan.

Before any member of the group could say or do anything else their attention was quickly averted as the remaining ALTER Servants along with Necrom suddenly appeared alongside Dark Ghost and Archer ALTER.

"What's wrong Specter, after all this time is this really the best you got?" Necrom said in a tone of mock disappointment as he approached. "Come on, don't go disappointing me, I know that you can put up a better fight than this."

"Go to hell." Specter retorted, pulling out an Eyecon, clicking the button before inserting it into his Ghost Driver and grabbed the handle in the side.

"You want my best Necrom, I'll give it to you and more." Specter said sternly before he pulled on his Driver's handle.

KAIGAN: LANCER! (Deep horn) KURIMUZON NO YARI GA JIKAN O GYAKUTEN SA SERU! (Crashing waves and seagulls calling)

Instantly Lancer's body began to radiate a golden energy, his form shifting into the Hood of Ulster's Light, a dark blue jacket like Parka Ghost that had silver trim as well as sported Lancer's shoulder pauldrons, that launched itself towards Specter and draped himself over the warrior ghost's Rider's shoulders.

In addition to his new hood the Face Heart Piercer, a faceplate that was decorated by Lancer's spear as well as the earrings that he wore, appeared on the front of Specters helmet and the blood red spear the Irish Servant wielded appearing in his outstretched hand, the black and blue ghostly Rider twirling it before pointing it at Necrom.

Seeing this, Ghost turned to look over at Saber. "Saber…" He called out to her as he also pulled out a new Eyecon, the blond haired swordswoman nodding in response, before he inserted the eyeball-like object into his Driver and pulled the lever.

As with Lancer, Saber's body gave off a golden glow before she was transformed into the royal blue Hood of the Round Table, she sped towards Ghost's position and draped herself over his shoulders.

KAIGAN: SABER! (Trumpets) TŌI YUTOPIA O MOTOMERU RAIONKINGU! (Trumpets and triumphant cries)

Ghost's new royal blue with silver trim that resembled Saber's chest plate, the collar adorned with white fur and a crown atop his hooded head. The Face Lion King faceplate, sporting the image of a pair of lion heads facing each other separated by a sword running down the middle, appearing on the front of his helmet.

Lastly a swirl of golden energy appeared before Ghost, the Ghostly Rider reaching out to grasp it in both hands as Saber's sword, Caliburn, took form.

Seeing this Necrom let out an amused sounding who laughed. "Oh, you're using my Servant Eyecons. Fortunately, we too have new toys to play with." He chuckled before he turned to look in Dark Ghost' direction, "Oi, why don't you show them the toys that we play with."

Wordlessly Dark Ghost produced a new Eyecon, clicked the button on the side and swapped into his Ghost Driver and pulled the lever.

All of a sudden Saber ALTER's body emanated dark energy before her form shifted into a Parka Ghost, a black and silver variant of Saber's Ghost form, before it flew towards Dark Ghost, circling him several times before draping itself over his shoulders and her sword appearing in his hand.

KAIGAN: SABER! (Trumpets) RAKUEN O MOTOMETE KANOJO NO TAMASHĪ WA KURAKU NATTA! (Trumpets and triumphant cries)

"W…wha…" Ghost exclaimed at the sight of his counterpart now clad in a black and silver variant of the hood that he was clad in. "They have Servant Eyecons too?"

Chuckling to himself, Necrom too produced an Eyecon of his own, clicking the button before switching it with the one in his Driver, the black and gold hood he was clad in vanishing, before closing it up and pulling the handle.

KAIGAN: BERSERKER! (Deep horn) SENSŌ NO RYŌEN, CHI NO UMI O AYUMU! (Crashing waves and seagulls calling)

Much like with Saber ALTER the twisted version of Lancer was transformed into a black and red Parka Ghost, draping itself onto Necrom's shoulders, the deadly looking weapon appearing in the ghostly Rider's hand.

"Now, since we're all donned in the armor of legendary heroes, why not see which of us can use our Servant Eyecons the best." Necrom said as he slipped into Lancer's stance, grasping the twisted version of Gae Bulg in both hands. "Let's see if you know how to use my toys properly."

"Necrom…" Ghost growled, his grip on Caliburn tightening before he then rushed forward. "Saber and the other Servants aren't toys…"

Dashing forward, Ghost drew closer and closer towards Necrom, gripping the handle of his he swung it at the block, gold and white Rider who didn't even seem to react to this in the slightest.

CLANG!

Ghost was shocked to find Dark Ghost standing before him, the black sword with red runes engraved upon that his dark counterpart blocking wielded used to block his own. So shocked by this, Ghost barely acknowledged a loud bang that rang out, moments later something struck him in the shoulder resulting in a stabbing pain that emanated from the spot.

Barely having time to acknowledge this all of a sudden Archer ALTER, slashing at Ghost with one of his sword mounted guns, the Ghostly Rider pulling back from his dark counterpart to avoid the twisted version of his future self's blade.

As he did so a hissing noise caught his attention and glancing to the left, he was greeted by the sight of one of Gorgon's serpents, the purple creature lunging at him with its jaws wide open.

With barely any time to react, Ghost slashed his sword at the eyeless creature, firing a wave of holy energy at it that sliced into it which in turn sliced the creature in two.

No sooner had he dispatched it another quickly appeared to take its place, attempting to snap at the ghostly Rider with its powerful jaws, before it could reach him however Specter suddenly dropped down from above, the eyeless serpent letting out a pained hiss as the former Shinigami impaled Gae Bulg through the top of its head.

"Sp…Specter…" Ghost exclaimed.

"Idiot, what the hell were you thinking?" Specter scolded him as he pulled his weapon free of the now dead snake and jumped down off of it. "This isn't an enemy that you just charge head long at."

Before either of the two Riders could say or do anything else a barrage of gunfire was fired at them by Archer ALTER while Gorgon unleashed more of her snakes at them, both Ghost and Specter both of who did their best to avoid them.

When Necrom suddenly appeared before them, slashing at Specter with the blade of his spear, his former subordinate quickly blocked this attempt with his own.

"Don't go getting distracted, Specter," Necrom said, leaning his helmet-covered head closer to the rogue Shinigami, "I'm not done with you yet."

"Necrom…" Specter growled as he shoved his spear forward, knocking Necrom back slightly before attempting to skewer his former boss with his Gae Bulg, Nercrom laughing as he avoided Specter's attempts to stab him.

"Specter!" Ghost cried out, he was about to try and aid the man that shared his father's face when another barrage of gunfire from Archer ALTER stopped him in his tracks while the snakes attached to Gorgon's head charged more energy inside their mouths preparation to unleash a barrage of beams at him.

"Avenger, Archer, don't interfere," the sound of Dark Sakura was heard, her voice seeming to echo throughout the area, "Let Senpai have his fun with Emiya-san."

Hearing this Dark Ghost walked past the pair of dark Servants as he began moving forward to engage Ghost once more. "I will handle this." He told them in his usual lifeless tone, his pace picking up with each step forward until he was charging at Ghost.

Before long Dark Ghost was once more face to face with his counterpart, attempting to slice at the opponent with his black sword, forcing Ghost to block this attempt with his own blade, both their swords once more colliding with one another.

While the four Riders once more engaged with one another both Archer ALTER and Gorgon turned their attention back towards Rin, who'd torn off part of her coat to use it as a bandage for the gash on her leg, and Rider.

A low hiss emanated from the serpent like strands that were interwoven amongst Gorgon's hair before each of them fired a beam of glowing purple energy in her younger selves direction, the lavender haired Servant of the Mount barely managing to avoid the incoming barrage which in turn collided with a nearby building, resulting in debris crashing down upon the street below and bringing with it a cloud of dust.

At the same time Archer ALTER aimed his guns towards Rin and opened fire, due the wound caused by the bullet that grazed her leg Rin had no other choice but to drop to the ground to avoid the incoming gunfire, her hands clutching the back of her head as Archer's bullets sailed over head.

All of a sudden Rin felt herself picked up off of the ground and looking up she found herself looking up at Rider, the lavender haired Servant having scooped her up into her arms and carrying her bridal style as she ran, managing to stay ahead of the incoming gunfire unleashed by Archer ALTER at them as well as Gorgon's serpent like that she sent after them.

Meanwhile both Ghost and Specter had their hands full dealing with their respective opponents, despite being clad in hoods that allowed them to utilize the powers of both Saber and Lancer both Dark Ghost and Necrom were still proving to be tough opponents.

"Come on Specter, is this really the best you can do?" Necrom taunted as dodged out of the way each time Specter attempted to stab at him with his spear. "If it is then this game isn't going to be any fun."

"I'm not playing your games Necrom," Specter growled as he grabbed the handle of his Ghost Driver Specter gave it a pull. "I'm going to put you down for good here and now…"

DAI KAIGAN: LANCER! OMEGA DRIVE!

That done, the former Rogue Shinigami grasped the pole arm in both hands, assuming a wide legged stance as he read the weapon back as he prepared to lunge at his opponent, sparkling crimson energy began to radiate off of Lancer's spear.

"Ohh, is that right…" Necrom said in an amused sounding tone as he matched his opponents' actions, grasping the handle of his Ghost Driver and pulled on it. "Let's see if you can back up your claim."

DAI KAIGAN! BERSERKER! OMEGA DRIVE!

Like with Specter, the bladed tip of Necrom's spear began to give off a crackling aura, one that was darker in appearance than its counterpart, before assuming a similar stance to that of his opponent, both of them ready to lunge at each other.

After several seconds both Specter and Necrom thrust their respective spears at one another, the bladed attachments of the two spears meeting one another head on releasing a shockwave as the energies released by both versions of the same spear collided with one another.

OMEGA BULG!

Nearby Ghost was locking blades with Dark Ghost, both of them glaring at one another as white-hot sparks sparking off the two swords as they grinded together.

"This is…disappointing," Dark Ghost said. "Do you really hope to win if this is the best that you can do?"

"You don't know what you're talking about." Ghost retorted. "You might be me but we can't be more different. If you were me there'd, be no way in hell that you'd stand by as a bunch of murderous Servants mercilessly kill people and then help them carry out something that would destroy an entire world. That's not what a hero of justice would do."

"A hero of justice…a truly foolish notion." Dark Ghost said flatly. "I already told you, trying to save everyone is pointless, in doing so you will achieve nothing but your own destruction."

"What the hell do you know," Ghost snapped back, anger inside him rising, "From the sounds of things you simply gave up on trying to become a hero, you betrayed the promise that we made to Kiritsugu."

"And in doing so I found purpose, true purpose." "Instead of saving everyone I chose to devote my everything to one person, for my Master, for her I will give my all. She has deemed the destruction of your world necessary and for her I will see it done."

"Screw…screw you…" Ghost snapped, pulling back slightly the ghostly Rider, unleashed a horizontal slash at Dark Ghost who, rather than attempt to block it with his own sword, leapt into the air to avoid it, as he did so a swirl of dark energy appeared around him and carried him a short distance away from Ghost.

Breathing heavily and his gaze fixed upon his opponent, Ghost grabbed the handle of his Ghost Driver and pulled it.

DAI KAIGAN: SABER! OMEGA DRIVE!

Grasping the handle of Saber's sword in both hands, Ghost held the weapon out in front of him, the blade of the sword beginning to radiate an aura of golden holy energy, its light illuminating a portion of the area around him.

Across from him, Dark Ghost glared at Ghost, the black and white ghostly Rider reached for the handle on the side of his Ghost Driver, gripping it and pulled it.

DAI KAIGAN! SABER! OMEGA DRIVE!!

That done, the blade of the Dark Rider's sword radiating dark crimson energy, he then mirrored Ghost's pose, the black sword held out before him before he and Ghost raised their swords above their heads as they prepared to swing them.

Letting out a cry the two Ghosts swung their swords at one another unleashing a pair of energy beams, one bright and golden while the other was dark and crimson, as with the attacks unleashed by Specter and Necrom the two beams collided, neither seeming to be able to overpower the other.

OMEGA CALIBUR!

Just as it seemed as if the fighting between the four Rider to have reached a stalemate the energy beams launched by both Ghost and Specter were all of a sudden overpowered by those launched at them Dark Ghost and Necrom, the dark energy effortlessly overpowering and consuming the attacks that they'd been battling with before continuing on towards the two Heroic Riders and striking them.

Their bodies crackling with dark purple energy from the point where they'd been struck, both Ghost and Specter were suddenly engulfed in a large explosion, their Rider armor vanishing from their bodies as both Shirou and the man that shared Emiya Kiritsugu's face were sent sprawling across the ground.

The two Hoods that the pair had been clad in detaching themselves from Ghost's body, reverting back into Saber and Lancer, both of them collapsing to the ground next to Shirou and Specter.

At the same time Rider and Ri still had their hands full with both Archer ALTER and Gorgon, both of whom were still on their tail, neither relenting in their assault.

As Rider ran Gorgon unleashed several more energy beams from the serpents that flowed from her head at in the pairs direction, however this time aiming for the road beneath Riders feet, the tarmac suddenly erupting in a burst of energy which Rider got caught up in, the force if which causing her to lose her grip on Rin who went flying through air for a short distance before making painfully contact with the road below, rolling across it a few times before coming a stop.

With her younger self painfully gasping for breath, Gorgon strode over to the spot Rider lay, the mythical monster loomed above her, taking a moment to glare at her younger self before reaching down and seizing Rider by hair and used it to hoist her up till she was at eye level.

Lying there Rin grimaced, her body screaming out in pain from her making contact with and skidding across the surface of the road. All of a sudden a shadow fell over her as the twisted version of Archer filled her vision before pointing one of his guns at her, his finger preparing to squeeze the trigger.

"That'll do for now." The sound of Dark Sakura's voice was heard, her voice causing all the fighting to cease. "We've only just arrived on this world, no need to rush, not when there's so much to here to amuse us before we claim the Grail."

Hearing his Master's orders Archer ALTER lowered his gun away from Rin. "Mission…halted…" The ALTER Servant said in his lifeless tone before he turned away from Rin in a very robotic manner.

"Tsk…" A look of annoyance spread across Gorgon's face before tossing Rider aside before she followed after Archer ALTER, the long haired Servant coming to rest next to Rin.

"Sigh, how disappointing, you just had to go and spoil it." Necrom sighed, glancing up at the sky as he rested his spear against his shoulder. "Ah well, seems like the boss lady wants to draw this out a little longer."

He then looked over at Specter who along with Shirou was trying to pick himself up off of the ground. "Good news for you Specter, seems we'll have to pick this up next we meet." He told his former subordinate. "Arrivederci…"

All of a sudden the strange mist-like substance rolled in over the area again, enveloping Dark Ghost and his companions, just as quickly as it came the mist vanished to reveal not a trace of them, leaving a defeated Shirou and his group staring at the spot where they had been only moments before.

AN And just like that the final chapter of 2023 is fini. Here we are everyone, the end of the year is almost in sight but we see this year out and enter the new we've got Christmas to celebrate and since this year I've done chapters that have included a Rider crossover, a Taisen so I figured what better Christmas present from me to all of you is what is essentially a scene from a Summer Movie.

So yeah, this is essentially the summer movie for my Fate/Ghost story, featuring Shirou and co going up against a group that includes alternated versions of Shirou and Sakura, Necrom, who they'd thought was dead as well as a group of ALTER Servants and Gorgon because there's no Medusa ALTER, at least not right now.

Oh, the reason I'm refering to EMIYA ALTER as Archer ALTER because at point in the story only Shirou and Spectre are aware of Archer's identity.

Also if it seems like Dark Ghost and his group seem really OP when compared to Shirou and the others his group that's only we're at what would be the beginning of the movie, plus with Toku Movie villains its pretty much standard to present them as being stupidly strong for at least most of the movie, right up until the plot needs to get rid of them anyway.

Meanwhile on the Gotchard front these quite a bit to talk about.

First Cross XRex might be one of my favorite forms for Gotchard so far.

Second it appears that Hotarou met Hopper1 as a child but both of them had their memories of it erased. Can't help but think that this might be tied to the identy of Hotarou's father who we've still not met yet.

Finally X Wizard made a brief cameo as a tie in to the crossover movie with Geats, also they appear to have some connection to that Association guy who showed up in episode 11 and 12.

Third the Abyssalis Sisters actually had some development in the last episode. First was Atropos's childish out burst after Rinne stood up which was kind of surprising since she'd been pretty calm and collected up to that point. Then there was Lachesis's showing concern worry for Clotho after her sister tried to over charge the Dread Driver in an attempt to defeat Gotchard, tell us that she cares for her sister which is again something that you think based on the earlier episodes.

Meanwhile on the next episode our potential big bad for the show Glion is gonna make his big debut plus were gonna meet Spanner's mentor so maybe we'll find out why he's so dedicated to protecting Rinne.

Oh, and the full version of ChemyxStory is not available for us all to listen to.

Anyway I think this is a good place to stop. My thanks to everyone who stuck with me in 2023 and as always feel free to write a comment and tell me your thoughts on this installment and heck tell me what you'd like to see chapters on in 2024. So far the only Rider shows I haven't written anything for are Kuuga, Hibiki, Kabuto, Drive, Revice and Gotchard so just maybe they'll get something in 2024 along with the stuff I already have in the works.

Hope 2023 has been good for you, that you enjoy the holidays and I'll see you all in the new year.

So for the final time in 2023, peace out y'all.
