Chapter 1: Open up the Dungeon

"This game ― The winner in the end is me..."

Shirou let out a sigh as he pulled open the door, a sudden rush of cold night air passing over him. Normally someone as young as him wouldn't be working at an establishment such as Copenhagen, the shadier establishments, however thanks to the owner being a close friend of his self-imposed big sister

Glancing back, he bid a goodnight to Neko the rust haired teen exited the establishment, stepping out into the night air with the full intent of heading straight home.

Tink

He'd just been about to turn in the direction of home when all of a sudden, the sound of something metal striking the ground caught Shirou's attention, his ears twitching at the sound.

Tink…tink….tink…

The noise repeated a few times before it was replaced by the sound of something rolling across the ground, moments later something knocked against his foot. Glancing downwards Shirou saw something that he hadn't expected. "What the…"

Lying there on the ground was a circular object that looked to be made from gold, some kind of coin, the front of which was adorned with the image of a profile of a man's head and the word 'Caesar' engraved upon it. It was unlike anything Shirou was familiar with.

And yet, he couldn't explain why but something about it, something…familiar…

Stooping down Shirou picked the coin off of the ground, gazing at the object that he now lay in his palm for a few seconds before he rose back up where he continued to examine it, his attention transfixed upon it.

All of a sudden a car raced past, the noise snapping Shirou out of his almost trance like state, shaking his head he then slipped the coin into his pocket and turned in the direction that would lead him home. Today had been a long one.

Little did he realize that his long day wasn't quite over yet

After a long walk Shirou found himself walking the street on which his home resided, the front gate that was located within the large wall that surrounded the property within sight.

Passing through the front gate, Shirou took a moment to close it and lock it behind him. That done he turned his attention towards the house, doing so he found something that he hadn't expected to see.

Standing in front of his front door was an attractive looking young woman clad in a white and black dress, two strands of her long dark hair draped across her shoulders and a white head band adorning the top of her head, holding onto an odd looking yellow box with a black lid that she had grasped in both hands.

Now Shirou wasn't unfamiliar with having house guests, at this point he was used to finding both his self-imposed big sister figure and Sakura upon coming home. However, this woman before him, he was pretty certain that he'd never met her before.

"Emiya Shirou." She said, offering the rust haired teenager a small smile as she began approaching him.

"Y…Yeah, that's me." Shirou replied, still taken aback by the person standing before him. "Can…can I help you with something?"

"Congratulations," The dark haired woman told him, holding the box she was holding to the boy before her. "You've been chosen to compete in the latest round of the Desire Grand Prix."

Shirou stared at the woman, taken aback by what she had told him. "D…Desire…Grand Prix…" He muttered, cocking his head to one side.

Shirou's mind was racing with a thousand questions as he poured boiling water from his kettle into a cup.

Ever the gracious host, Shirou had invited his unexpected guest into his home following their meeting in the courtyard, after leading her into the living room, the dark haired woman at present was seated at his table, Shirou had gone straight to his kitchen and had gone about making tea.

"Here," He said as he placed the steaming cup in front of her, "I hope this is to your liking."

"Thank you." The dark haired told Shirou before picking up the cup and took a sip of the steaming liquid. "This is good."

"Glad you like it." Shirou replied as he seated himself at the table, sitting across from his guest. "So, you mentioned something called the Desire Grand Prix, what exactly is it?"

"The Desire Grand Prix is a competition where participants called Kamen Riders take part in various challenges, doing so successfully earns them points." His guest told the teen, pausing a moment to take another sip of her tea. "At the end either the participant with the most points or the last one standing will be declared the winner of the Desire Grand Prix and will be eligible to claim the prize."

The frown on Shirou's face deepened as he looked away from his guest and shifted his gaze towards the table's surface as he assimilated this information. In all honesty he really wasn't the competitive type, it wasn't that he didn't understand the idea or the allure of competition, it's just that such things had never had any real appeal for him.

Perhaps his trauma from the night of the Fuyuki fire had something to do with it, after all competition meant that there would be winners and losers and recalling seeing so many people lose their lives whilst he had been spared had never sat right with him. Winning at the expense of others just felt wrong to him.

Letting out a 'hmmm' Shirou looked up at his guest as she casually sipped at her drink. "What about you?" He asked her, "Are you taking part as well?"

"Me, oh no. I'm the navigator," She told him. "My job is to act as a go-between between the participants and the organizers, providing you with information about each of the different challenges."

"Ok, then what about the prize that you mention," Shirou pressed, wanting as much information as he could get. "What exactly would I be competing for?"

"Anything you want." His guest replied, "The world itself will be remade into anything that the winner of the Desire Grand Prix desires it to be."

Shirou stared at his guest, a stunned look on his face. Did he hear her correctly, did she really just say that the winner of the competition could recreate the world?

If he won, he could create the world that Kiritsugu had strived for, one where no one had to suffer. He could create a world where the Fuyuki Fire had never happened, a world where all those people wouldn't have lost their lives.

It all seemed too good to be true. Was it even right? Was it right of him to achieve his goals like this? He understood that the path of a hero was not supposed to be an easy one, to simply be handed a solution felt like a betrayal of Kiritsugu and the dream that had been passed on to him.

Still Shirou couldn't deny that he was intrigued by this. He wanted to know more and he had a suspicion that the only way that he would learn more was by agreeing to take part in this Desire Grand Prix.

Taking another sip of her drink the dark haired navigator set her cup back down on the table. "That's all the information I can provide you right now, further details are only to be given to those participating in the Desire Grand Prix." She told Shirou before she then pushed the box towards him. "If you choose to participate, everything you need to compete is contained within this box there."

Lifting the lid Shirou saw that it contained three items. The first was an oddly shaped item that was primarily black with a somewhat circular shaped pattern in the centre, a diagonal line separated the half with a circular like attachment in the middle.

The second looked to be an oddly designed cell phone.

As for the third one, it was circular in shape with a white cap on the top and a tab on either side, the top of which featured a red circle with an image which bore a symbol that vaguely resembled a fox head.

"What are these?" Shirou asked his guest.

"Everything you'll need to take part in the Desire Grand Prix. The first is the Desire Driver, all participants for the Desire Grand Prix are issued with one. The other is a Spider Phone, we use them to keep in touch with the players as well as provide them with information." The dark haired woman informed him. "Lastly is the Rider ID Core, to fully register you'll need to attach it to the Desire Driver."

Acknowledging this Shirou slowly reached for the ID Core, for some reason he found himself being drawn to it. The moment that his fingers touched the item Shirou's mind and senses was assaulted by images, sounds and sensations.

Of these images three of them seemed to stand out to him. In the first Shirou found himself in what looked to be some kind of garden which was dotted with statues and pieces of architecture, looking to be perhaps ancient Roman or Greek in design that he'd seen in his history books.

That wasn't all, standing before stood a woman with long black hair clad in a white dress standing before him, a silver necklace hanging around her neck. For some reason Shirou couldn't see her face despite her looking right at him.

"I'm sorry." The mystery woman said, her voice filled with regret, before she turned away from him and began to walk away as she did so, headed towards an archway. "For your sake It's better that you forget all about me…"

Just as it seemed she was about to pass through it the dark haired woman suddenly stopped, as she stood before a large structure her form suddenly shifted as she took on the appearance of someone entirely different. Instead of having dark hair standing before the arch was a woman with blond hair that was pulled back into a braid that was held together by a strip of fabric that was tied onto a bow.

Turning back Shirou found himself staring into a pair of the greenest eyes that he'd ever seen. As if seeing him the blond haired woman offered Shirou a smile before her lips parted as if she was about to say something when all a sudden the air was filled by the sound of metal striking metal, her words she was speaking drowned out by the sound, before she turned away and passed through the arch.

As she passed through it, the noise of striking metal growing louder as she did so, the scene before Shirou melted away and the rust haired teenager instantly found himself in a darkened room illuminated by a fire that was burning away inside a structure that he knew from images in history books was a Japanese style forge.

Standing before the forge knelt a man who, much Shirou's surprise, looked to be an older looking version of himself, the rust haired man hammering away at a long strip of metal that looked to be a sword blade, part of which was glowing from heat before dipping it into a nearby bucket of water.

And just like that the visions ended and Shirou found himself back in his living room, his breathing heavy as he found himself staring at the ID Core that he held between his thumb and pointer finger.

"It seems you've already had some exposure to the Desire Grand Prix." The dark haired woman spoke up, the sound of her voice snapping Shirou out of his thoughts and back to reality. "Touching the ID Core restores any previous memories of the Desire Grand Prix the user may have had."

Shirou didn't say anything at first, instead focusing his attention on the ID Core in his hand. Recalling the images that had flashed through his mind, he could tell that something about himself had changed as all of a sudden, a lot of his concerns melted away and he was filled with a new found sense of confidence and purpose.

He could do it; he would fulfil the dream that he'd inherited from Kiritsugu and become a hero that could save everyone. Thanks to touching the ID Core he now had the means and the skills that he required to make it happen.

Taking a deep breath, the rust haired teenager looked back over at his guest. "Sorry for being so rude," He said to her, "I just realised that I never asked you for your name."

"Tsumuri." Tsurumi replied, she then produced another box and placed it in front of Shirou. "One last thing, a gift to welcome you to the Desire Grand Prix."

Opening the box Shirou found an odd-looking object which looked to be a circle with several holes in it, not dissimilar in design from the chamber of a gun, connected to a handle.

"Magnum Raise Buckle." The dark haired navigator said as she watched as the rust haired teen picked up the new item and examined it. "Using its power, you can become more powerful. There are all sorts of Buckle's that you can acquire as part of the Desire Grand Prix, some can even be used together to make interesting combinations."

Shirou nodded his head in response before reaching into the box and retrieving the Magnum Buckle and inspecting it, although he couldn't explain it this Buckle felt familiar to him, as if he'd used it before. No, more than that it just felt right to him.

Setting the Magnum Buckle down in the table Shirou turned his attention to the Desire Driver, grabbing it he raised it to eye level whilst also reaching out and took hold of the ID Core, flicking it into the air like a coin and letting it spin a few times before snatching it out of the air and slotted it into the circular attachment that was located in the very centre of the belt.

ENTRY!

"Registration complete." Tsurumi said. "Welcome to the Desire Grand Prix…Kamen Rider…Geats…"

Shirou looked at Tsurumi, a sly grin spreading across his face. "Well then Tsumuri-san," He said, "When does this little game start?"

One year later

The bell that signalled the start of lunch period echoed through the school building, bringing with it a rush of activity as both students and staff prepared to make the most of the short respite before resuming the day's learning. Some had food that had been prepared for them whilst most headed for the cafeteria.

Amongst the students that were headed in that direction was Tohsaka Rin, as she strode through the corridors the dark haired Magus's mind was on matters that had little to do with food or her remaining classes.

There was still time before the ritual was set to start, preparations that needed to be made. The other participants were more than likely on their way if they weren't here already, no doubt they'd already completed or near to it by now, meaning that she couldn't allow herself to fall behind.

Just a couple more steps, that's all she needed to do and then she would be ready. After that all she'd have to do was…

It was then at that moment a female student suddenly appeared, so lost in her own thoughts that Rin didn't notice them until both she and the other girl collided with each other, the other student being knocked to the ground.

Pulled roughly out of her thoughts, Rin's head instantly snapped towards the girl that she'd knocked into, her breath suddenly catching itself in her throat and her eyes widened slightly as she saw who it was. Sitting there on the ground was Matou Sakura, the purple haired looking a little shaken from her sudden fall.

"Sakura…" Rin exclaimed, hearing her voice the purple haired Junior looked up, her irisless purple eyes meeting Rin's aqua one,

"T…Tohsaka-Senpai…" Sakura stammered as she gazed back at Rin, clearly as shaken by this unplanned meeting as she was.

"I…I am so sorry. I didn't…I didn't mean to…" Rin said, trying her best to compose herself. Coughing a few times, she then offered a hand to her underclassman. "Here, let me help you."

For a few moments Sakura stared at Rin's outstretched hand, a somewhat uneasy look on her face as she did so, before taking hold of it and allowed the dark haired teen to pull her back to her feet.

"Are you alright?" Rin asked her. "You're not hurt are you?"

Sakura quickly shook her head. "No, no I'm alright." She insisted. "I'm sorry for bumping into you, Tohsaka-Sempai."

"No no, it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention." Rin insisted before her expression and tone softened themselves. "Anyway, I'm glad that you're not hurt or anything."

The girls then fell silent, as if both were unsure of what to say next. "Soooo, uhhh." Rin said, trying to think of a new topic of conversation. "Are you going to the cafeteria?"

Sakura shook her head. "N…no, I made my own lunch before coming here today." She replied, shifting uncomfortably as she spoke, something that didn't go unnoticed by Rin.

"Oh yeah, I forgot. I wish I had the time to make my own lunch." She said, doing her best to sound jovial, "You know what I mean Matou-san, food from home always tastes better than what they serve here. I take it you also prepare food for the rest of your family?"

"H…hai." Sakura replied, shifting awkwardly as she did so. "I make Onii-san's lunch as well as my own."

Rin nodded her head. "Makes sense, must be nice to have a family that does things for each other." No sooner had she said this, Rin noticed the uncomfortable look on Sakura's face as well as the way she was fidgeting awkwardly, inwardly cursing herself she decided to change the subject, "So…you got Archery Club after school?"

"That's right, there's a big competition coming up in the spring," Sakura replied, sounding less nervous now that the subject had changed. "Fujimaru-sensei really wants to win this year so she's really drilling us hard."

"Is that so, well good luck with that Matou-san." Rin said in an encouraging tone, "I'll be rooting for you."

No sooner had Rin said these words the sound of screaming coming from nearby was heard, quickly turning their heads in its direction both Sakura and Rin were met by the sight by a group of odd looking creatures with oddly shaped heads appeared as if from nowhere, each of them clad in red robes and wielding either a polearm with a blade attached to the top or a short looking blade.

"Wha…what the…" Sakura gasped, "What are those?"

Rin scowled as she took in the sight of the approaching creatures, all the same they gave her a bad feeling.

A feeling that proved to be rather prophetic when one of the strange creatures suddenly lunged at one of the panicked looking students and plunged its bladed weapon into their body, a spurt of blood erupting from the wound before dropping unmoving to the ground.

The instant this happened a wave of panic erupted through the hall, the rest of the strange creatures set themselves upon the students who desperately tried to get away, several of whom were set upon by the odd creatures.

The moment that the first student had hit ground Rin immediately seized Sakura by the hand, the purple haired teenager letting out a gasp at this, and with a tug she led her away as fast as she could, meaning to put as much distance between them and these strange creatures as possible, doing her best to block out the sounds of combat and cries of dying as she did so.

Moving as fast as they could both Rin and Sakura ran down the length of the corridor and towards the nearest set of stairs, encountering more of the strange creatures as they did so, the sound of their hurried footsteps catching their attention.

With the hostiles in pursuit the two of them dashed down the stairs and arrived at the ground floor and turning a corner and the double doors of the school's entrance came into view. Seeing it Rin made a beeline for it, still clutching Sakura's hand as she did so.

If they could just get outside, they could put more distance between them and the strange creatures without having to worry about getting boxed in, possibly even find someone who could help them or at least give Rin an opportunity to utilize her Magecraft without worry of exposing herself.

Reaching out before her, the dark haired teen prepared herself to feel the warmth of the afternoon sun in her face at any moment…when all of a sudden Rin ran face first into something solid, causing her to stumble backwards a few steps.

"On…Tohsaka-Sempai," Sakura cried out, sounding worried, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine." Rin replied, a dull ache emanating from her face, before looking back at the double doors, seeing nothing that would have blocked her path. Reaching out her hand was met by some kind of barrier, a faint red glow emanating from the spot that her hand had made contact with.

"What the heck?" The dark haired teenager muttered.

As she examined this the sound of hurried footsteps was heard and looking over both girls were greeted to the sight of a dozen of the strange creatures making their way towards them.

"Crap…" Rin muttered before positioning herself in front of Sakura who was looking rather scared at the situation that she found herself in.

"T…Tohsaka-sempai," Sakura spoke up, her voice shaking slightly. As the robed Kaijin drew closer. "What do we do now?"

Rin didn't answer her, she was too focused on evaluating the situation at hand as well as weighing up her options and to be frank the situation was looking pretty dire.

Retreat was impossible, maybe if she had the time, she might be able to bring down the barrier that blocked their way however that was a luxury that she didn't have right now.

Then there were the Kaijin that were advancing towards her. Whilst she'd had some training in hand-to-hand combat, she wasn't certain that it would be enough to fend off so many opponents by herself, especially since she had no idea what they were or what they were capable of.

That just left her Magecraft, something that she had more confidence in than her hand-to-hand skills. She'd stored up a sizable reserve of Prana for the past few weeks ahead of the Ritual that was coming up so she could get off a number of powerful spells. Buuut doing so would likely blow through a sizable amount of her reserves and, given that one part of the Ritual would require a lot of Prana to complete it.

Plus, regardless of her family name, if she were to use her Magecraft here, there would likely be dire consequences. If the Association, an organisation not known for neither their leniency nor their empathy, were to find out that she'd used Magecraft in public, she wouldn't be the only one in a lot of trouble. Was she really prepared to risk the whole city being reduced to a smouldering crater by using her Magecraft even if it were to defend herself?

All the while Rin was silently debating with herself the robed creatures were drawing closer and closer…when all of a sudden, a section of the floor above suddenly exploded, showering debris onto the ground below, moments later a figure clad in a black bodysuit as well as purple armor dropped down between Rin and Sakura and the strange creatures.

The figure crouched before them was clad in a black bodysuit with armor pieces attached to the upper part of their body that consisted of a chest plate and shoulder pads and their left arm adorned in purple armor with a gauntlet that five claw like fingers attached, a piece of shiny purple material hanging off of their waist and their head covered by a bull themed helmet. In their ungauntleted hand they wielding a weapon that looked to be a cross between a sword and a chainsaw.

"Wha…wha…a bull?" Rin exclaimed, not sure of what to make of what she was seeing.

As she said this the purple bull man rose up, fixing their attention on the group of enemies before them. "There you are, Jyamato," The sound of a man's voice said, their tone low and aggressive, running their gauntleted hand across the length of their chainsaw sword, sliding a black boxy attachment upwards. "You better provide me with a lot of points…"

POISON CHARGE!

All of a sudden, the toothed chain that encircled the length of the purple Rider's weapon began to spin faster. That done, the bull man then charged headlong at the group of creatures that they'd referred to as Jyamato and began swinging wildly at them with their chainsaw sword.

When all of a sudden several of the Jyamto were knocked to the ground by a barrage of energy bolts that were fired at them from above.

Looking up, both school girls saw another man through the hole in the ceiling, they were clad in a similar suit to the purple bull man, their head covered by an oversized bear shaped helmet and armed with a lime green crossbow weapon.

"P…polar bear?" Sakura stuttered.

After firing a few more shots the Polar Bear warrior dropped down from his position to the floor below, kicking aside one of the Jyamato that happened to be in his way before turning his attention to both Sakura and Rin.

"Are you two ok?" A man's voice asked, his concern evident. "Don't worry, I promise that I'll keep you safe." He then glanced over at his companion who was still busy fighting off the odd creatures, swinging his chainsaw sword wildly at them. "Yo Buffa, I'm getting these two out here."

"Tsk, doing the hero act again Shirowe," The man identified as Buffa replied as he grabbed a hold of one of the odd creatures and pulled it in close before slashing it across the chest with its chainsaw sword. "Whatever, just don't get in my way."

The Polar bear shook his head before raising his weapon and fired off a barrage of shots, knocking back several of the Jyamato and clearing a path. That done he then glanced back at the pair of schoolgirls. "Follow me." He instructed before he began running, seeing how they had no other option both Rin and Sakura followed after him, Rin once more taking hold of Sakura's hand before doing so.

As the trio left the area, Buffa focused his attention on the Jyamato that remained. Swinging wildly with his Zombie Breaker he cut down one after another, before hitting a switch that was located on the side of the weapon.

TACTICAL BREAK!

That done, he then delivered a horizontal slash that connected with the midsection of one of the Jyamato, sparks erupting from the spinning toothed chain before it suddenly was engulfed in a small explosion.

With Shirowe in the lead, the small party made their way through the schools' corridors and stairwells, all the while fighting off groups of Jyamato, until they arrived at the roof of the building, Shirowe kicking open the door and quickly checking the area before signalling to both Rin and Sakura that the area was safe.

SECRET MISSION CLEARED!

Before them a small box appeared on the ground before them, without hesitation Shirowe headed over to it and slid back the lid he reached into it and produced something from inside, primarily red Raise Buckle that had a motorcycle handle protruding from it.

"Boost Buckle…" He muttered to himself, examining the item before turning his attention back to both Rin and Sakura, both of whom were looking at him with expressions of both fear and confusion.

Reaching for his belt he detached an odd looking green device and moments later his helmet and armor vanished, revealing a man with short black hair and a goatee, clad in an outfit that consisted of a black and blue baggy looking long coat with an oversized collar worn over black baggy pants and black boots.

"Don't worry, we're safe for now." He said in a reassuring tone. "Are either of you hurt?"

Rin didn't say anything at first, stared at the man wearily for a moment, it wasn't that she wasn't grateful for his arrival and fighting off the monsters however given the situation he found herself in she knew better than to trust him until she had a better grasp of the situation.

"We're fine." She replied, glancing over at her fellow student. "Sakura?"

The purple haired girl quickly shook her head. "I…I'm alright." She replied. "Thank you Mr…?"

The goateed man chuckled and flashed them a small smile. "Goutokuji Takeshi." He said, introducing himself. "And no need to thank me. I'm a firefighter, saving people is second nature to me."

Just as quickly his smile vanished and a serious look took its place. "Damn Jyamato, attacking a school." He said, his tone stern. "Dragging a building full of kids into the Desire Grand Prix…"

Hearing this, both girls glanced at each other briefly before looking back at their 'protector'. "Desire Grand Prix?" Rin said, unfamiliar with the term. "What's that?"

"I've never heard of it either." Sakura added.

Before either of them could say anything the area suddenly darkened as something that cast a large shadow passed overhead, the light returning just as quickly as whatever it was moving on, headed towards the downtown area.

Handing high above the ground was a colossal thing that looked alien in appearance with a traditional looking Japanese castle protruding from its back as well as several long tendrils protruding from its underside.

"Wha…what the hell?" Rin exclaimed, unable to believe what she and Sakura were seeing, nothing in her upbringing as a member of the Tohsaka clan and training as a Magus had prepared her for this.

Meanwhile a frown spread itself across Takeshi's face. "There it is," He said, more to himself than to his two companions. "Last boss…"

Hearing this both Sakura and Rin glance at him. "Last boss?" The purple haired girl asked.

"Yeah, the Rider who takes it out will be declared the winner of the game." The bearded man replied, gripping the Boost Buckle in his hand tightly.

"Game?" Rin asked, all of a feeling of dread took root in her stomach. "What happens when the game's over?"

Takeshi looked at her, his eyes meeting hers. "When that happens, this world will end." He told her.

Hearing this Rin and Sakura stared at him, both of them sporting a shocked look on their faces. Did they just hear him right, did he really say that the world was going to end?

"N…no way? Sakura exclaimed, her voice filled with both shock and terror. "The word is going to be destroyed?"

No sooner had the purple haired teenager said this, the Slug Fortress Jyamato's head suddenly turned in the trio's direction, as if it had somehow heard Sakura's words.

"Damn…" Takeshi cursed; the bearded man quickly reattached his Armed Arrow Buckle back onto his Desire Driver.

"Henshi…" He began only to be cut off when a low moan escaped from the massive creature before all of a sudden one of its large tentacles was launched in their direction.

Seeing the fleshy mass coming towards her, Rin quickly dropped to the ground, no sooner had she done so did she realise that Sakura had not done the same. looking up she saw the purple haired girl was standing there with a look of terror on her face, seemingly unable to react as the incoming tendril that was darting towards her

"SAKURA!" Rin cried out, her eyes wide and a look of terror on her face as she stared up at her underclassman.

Before she could do anything Takeshi suddenly lunged at Sakura, knocking the purple haired girl to the ground, narrowly avoiding the mass of whip-like flesh that was aimed at her as it smashed through the fence only to be caught by it instead.

The impact of the tentacle sent the bearded man flying before he came to a halt by slamming into the wall of the school, a sickening crunch filling the air upon impact before he slid down into a sitting position.

"D…damnit…" Takeshi grunted before his body faded away into particles of blue energy, leaving only his Driver behind along with the Boost Buckle, both of which clattered to the ground.

MISSION FAILED!

Both Rin and Sakura stared at the spot where Takeshi had been moments before, both of them sporting a look that was equal parts shock and horror.

A numbing sensation gripped Rin as she tried to process this. Ever since she was young the lessons of what it was to be a Magus had been drilled into her, first by her late father and later by Kirei.

The first lesson of being a Magus was that you walked with death, that no matter who you were, death could come for you at any time. A Magus had to accept this, live with it.

Still it did little to prepare you nor provide any comfort when you saw it with your own eyes for the first time.

"Goutokuji-san…" Sakura muttered, breathing shallow and rapid, her gaze fixed upon the damaged section of wall. Mixed in with her fear and shock she could feel as feelings of guilt and self loathing take hold. Why wouldn't she, after all her weakness and inability to act, had cost the man his life.

As the two of them looked on all of a sudden the door to the roof suddenly burst open followed by the sound of footsteps and chanting, Rin and Sakura were met by the sight of a dozen Jyamato pouring out of the door and towards them.

Seeing the horde of enemies advancing towards them Rin snapped out of her stupor, quickly positioning herself in front of Sakura who was still in a state of shock, her Magus mind quickly snapping into action as she took stock of the situation.

With Goutokuji gone and now knowing about the barriers that were in place making retreat impossible it looked like she had no other option that to try and hold the Jyamato off herself and hope that the other armored individual, Buffa she believed Goutokuji had referred to him as, or any other participant of this game that she and Sakura had found themselves involved in made their up here.

Taking note of the sheer number of enemies that were approaching herself Rin cursed herself for not bringing some of her gems with her.

As the Jyamato approached, all of a sudden a commotion was heard coming from behind them before several of the odd looking Kaijin were knocked to the ground. Noticing this both Rin and Sakura quickly fixed their attention on this newcomer as they engaged the Jyamato and were greeted by the sight of someone clad in the same outfit that Takeshi had been wearing with an identical belt around his waist.

"E…Emiya…"/"Senpai…" Both of them exclaimed, both of them shocked by the sudden arrival of Homurahara's resident do gooder who, judging by his current apparel, clearly had something to do with what was going on here.

Hearing their voices Shirou quickly looked over in their direction, narrowly side stepping out of the way of one of the Jyamato as they attempted to slice at him with their spear. "Sakura…Tohsaka…" He muttered. "Damnit…"

Turning his attention back to the Jyamato, Shirou kicked one in the chest, knocking it backwards into two more of its kind that caused them to stumble backwards. Just then, out of the corner of his golden eye, Shirou noticed the discarded Desire Driver along with the Boost Buckle that lay upon the ground.

"Goutokuji-san," he muttered as he quickly realized what had happened before turning his gaze towards the group of Jyamato before him. 'Don't worry, I'll pick up where you left off...' He quietly vowed as pulled out the Magnum Buckle and attached it to the right side of his Desire Driver, and a pulsing standby tone began emanating from the device around his waist.

SET!

That done, Shirou then struck a stance where he first formed one hand into the image of a fox before snapping and pointing at the group of Kaijin, as he did so a holographic screen appeared on Shirou's right with the word Magnum overlaid the chamber of a revolver behind it.

"Henshin…" He announced, snapping his fingers before using the same hand he ran a finger across the chamber section of the buckle, rotating it before grasping the handle and giving it a squeeze, several red hard light bullets launched from the driver before striking the Magnum emblem next to the rust haired student before forming into some white armor pieces.

MAGNUM!

The automated voice cried out again as several hard light constructs appeared around the rust haired teenager, One, a disk-like construct materialized around his waist before splitting in two, half raising up and the other lowering dropping down and coating his body in the black armored bodysuit that Rin and Sakura had seen Buffa and Shirowe wear.

All of a sudden an arm-like construct appeared and grabbed a hold of a set of mostly white upper body armor that had orange trim and dragged it over and equipped itself to Shirou's upper body whilst at the same time a white and orange head piece was equipped to the helmet of the Desire Blank. The motif of the head piece was very foxlike and had red eyes and lastly his neck was adorned in a a white and orange scarf.

READY, FIGHT!

"F…fox!?" Sakura stammered, trying her best to comprehend everything that was going on around her.

As for Rin the Tohsaka heiress's mind was racing a mile a second, her brain awash with questions, nothing in her training as a Magus had prepared her from the scenario that she currently found herself in.

Meanwhile Geats's attention was solely fixed his attention on the group of enemies in front of him, the lenses of his helmet momentarily giving off a red glow as a futuristic looking handgun appeared in his hand. His transformation now fully complete, the white and red Fox themed Rider spun his weapon on his finger before pointing it in the direction of the group of Jyamato.

"Get ready for the highlight…" He declared before pressing down on the trigger of the handgun and firing several bullets, each of the projectiles finding their mark and knocking their target to the ground.

MAGNUM SHOOTER 40X!

Experience telling him not to stay in one place too long, Geats was quickly on the move, firing more bullets from his Magnum Shooter 40X as several the odd looking Kaijin tried to surround him. As they did so they approached him the Armored Gun that was attached to the armored piece attached to his left forearm flipped itself over, providing Geats with a second weapon that he used to fire at the swarming Kaijin.

However it seemed that no matter how many of the Jyamato he managed to take down more just seemed to take their place forcing Geats to utilize his fists and feet when one would get close enough to him.

One such Jyamato swung at him with their bladed staff, Geats ducking and weaving to avoid being cut down, after several unsuccessful attempts Geats quickly reached out and grabbed ahold of the staff as his opponents made another attempt to swing the bladed end at him, capitalizing on the Jyamato's momentum he pulled the staff towards him knocking his opponent off balance before sweeping its leg out from under it and knocking it to the ground.

That done Geats aimed his Magnum Shooter 40X at the downed Kaijin and opened fire, unleashing a barrage of bullets that resulted in the alien looking creature being consumed in a burst of energy that erupted from its body.

Despite this Geats knew that he was far from done as more Jyamato moved in to take their fallen comrades place, as more of the swarm closed in the white Fox Rider raised his weapon and with his other hand pulled back on the Bullet Charger of the Magnum Shooter 40X.

BULLET CHARGE!

That done, Geats swung his arm in a horizontal arc, squeezing the trigger as he did so and firing off a furious stream of bullets that knocked impacted several of the approaching Jyamato and sent them sprawling across the ground.

With more of the Jyamato dealt with, Geats took the opportunity to drive towards the ground into a front roll and snatched up the Boost Buckle before rising up into a crouched position before attaching it to the left side of his Desire Driver.

SET!

Once again the He twisted the handle twice toward the flame bursting out a holographic logo of the word Boost appears. The flames destroy the word as it turns into red armor, and the holographic robotic arm reaches out and attached the red armor pieces onto Geats's legs

DUAL ON! GET READY FOR: BOOST & MAGNUM!

With the bulky red buckle now attached, Geats eyed the remaining Jyamato as he grabbed a hold of the handle of the Boost Buckle and pulled it, spinning it round, moving it to the right side of the Desire Driver and Magnum to the left side.

REVOLVE ON!

All of a sudden Geats rose into the air as a large circle appeared around him, his head folding backwards as his body was rotating around, the red armor that had adorned his legs changing in appearance to that of a chest plate, shoulder pads, and gauntlet with exhaust pipes attached to mufflers on both arms, a new red mouthpiece, the lenses on the helmet changed to yellow.

Both Rin and Sakura stared on as this happened, both of them flabbergasted by what they'd just witnessed. Emiya's arms and legs had switched places with one another and his head was now where his crotch had been moments before.

Feeling this new power course through him, Geats fixed his gaze upon the remaining Jyamato as they moved to engage him once more, two of the red clad Kaijin went to stab at him with their spears, the Kitsune Rider effortlessly evading their attempts before responding in kind, a gout of flames erupting from the exhausts each time his fists slammed into one, the force behind each punch effortlessly knocking his opponent to the ground.

Again experience told Geats that he was far from finished, and was quickly moved in to deal with the remaining Jyamato that surrounded him. One by one he engaged the swarm of Kaijin and one by one he dispatched them until there were none left standing.

No sooner had the final Jyamato been dealt with, a low sounding moaning sound filled the air, their heads snapping in its direction, Geats, Rin and Sakura saw that the Slug Fortress Jyamato was once more looking in their direction. The fighting between the Kitsune themed Rider and the remaining Jyamato having caught its attention.

"There you are, Last Boss…" Geats muttered to himself as stared at the colossal Kaijin.

The massive creature released another whale-like moan as its jaws parted and opened wide, as it did so a faint glow could be seen building within its throat, once that was quickly glowing brighter and brighter.

"Oh shit…" Geats muttered, quickly realizing what was about to happen, before dashing towards Rin and Sakura, grabbing both of them by the arm as he continued on towards the hole in the fence just as the Slug Fortress unleashed a beam of glowing energy from its jaws, the trio jumping off of the roof moments before the beam struck the roof and reduced it to rumble.

As the trio plummeted towards the ground, debris from the destroyed roof falling around them, Geats grabbed hold of the handle of the Boost Buckle and twisted it.

BOOSTRIKER!

A burst of flames suddenly erupted in the air just below them from which appeared a red and black motorcycle with a set of three exhaust protruding for either side of the rear side of the vehicle, suddenly its engine revved itself and its headlight flashing before it turned itself around began driving up the side of the building towards Geats, Rin and Sakura.

"Yosh…" Geats said to himself before he then threw Rin into his back, that done he then used his free hand to reach out towards the incoming bike as it drove past, draping Sakura across his lap before grabbing the handles and changing direction, drive down the side of the building before kicking off of the wall just before they reached the ground.

Once again on solid ground Geats drove across the schoolyard before coming to a stop near the main entrance. "Phew." Geats sighed in relief. "That was a little too close."

He then glanced down at Sakura; the purple haired teen still draped across his lap. "Sakura, are you alright?" He asked.

"I…I…" Sakura replied, her voice shaking slightly. All of a sudden her face became flushed, as if it had just dawned on her the position that she was currently in.

"S…Senpai…I…I…" She blurted out as she quickly bolted upright only for shaky legs to give out from under her and she fell back onto her butt.

"Sakura!" Rin cried out, her voice sounding somewhat horse, quickly dismounting the Boostriker and knelt down to check on the underclassmen. "Sakura, are you hurt?"

Sakura shook her head. "I…I don't think so, Tohsaka-Senpai." The purple haired teen replied,

Geats meanwhile had once again fixed his attention on the Slug Fortress Jyamato from his position on the Boostriker, the massive creature looking to be headed back in their direction.

"Hold it right there Emiya." Just then a voice was heard and glancing over, Geats found Rin glaring at him with a look of barely restrained anger. Sakura meanwhile was still in her sitting position, her gaze averted towards the ground.

"What the hell was that back there, what the hell were you thinking? We could have died back there because of that little stunt of yours." Rin snapped at him. "What the hell is going on? What are these creatures, why did they attack our school and what's with that armor you've got on?"

Geats didn't say anything, instead he met her gaze with his own for a few moments before looking away, once again focusing on the giant Jyamato that was headed towards them.

"Hey, hey. Emiya, I'm talking to you." Rin demanded. "Emiya…"

"Geats." The white Fox Rider replied. "It's Kamen Rider Geats."

Rin blinked a few times, taken aback by his response, out of everything he could have said that was the last thing she'd expected him to say. "G…Geats…?"

"Senpai…" Sakura spoke up, the sudden sound of her voice catching both Geats and Rin's attention causing both of them to look over in her direction.

"Goutokuji-san, he…he said something to us before he…he…" Sakura continued, her voice shaking slightly. "Is…is what he said true?"

"What did he say?" Geats replied.

"He said that the world is going to end." Rin said firmly as she fixed the Kitsune Rider with a hard stare. "So, Emiya, is what he said true?"

Geats looked away, fixing his gaze upon the Slug Fortress. "Yeah, yeah it's true." He replied, sounding rather nonchalant. "The moment that that giant Jyamato is defeated the game ends and this world will cease to be."

Hearing him say this sent a shudder down the spines of both Rin and Sakura along with a feeling of foreboding. "N…no way…" Rin muttered under her breath as her body suddenly felt numb at the idea that she would live long enough to witness the end of everything.

As for Sakura she once more lowered her head, the fringe of her hair hiding her eyes.

"And when that happens," Geats continued, "The moment that this world comes to an end a new one will be created in its place."

One again both Rin and Sakura were shocked by his words, the two of them looking at him with stunned expressions on their faces.

"Wha…what the…" Rin exclaimed, "H…how…"

"A…new…world…" Sakura muttered.

"That's right, this is a game where the winner can reshape the world as they see fit." Geats said, his piece said he gripped the bikes handlebars and gave one of them a twist, revving the bikes engine, "See you in the next world." And with that he took off, both machine and Rider head in the direction of the massive floating creature/castle that hung over the city.

Nearby Buffa had his hands full dealing with another group of Jyamato. He'd just got done cutting one down when the sound of a revving engine caught his attention and looking through a nearby window he watched as Geats dove part and out of the school's main gate.

"Geats…" He growled, "What are you planning?"

The engine of the Boostriker roared as Geats tore through the streets of Fuyuki, the shadow of the Slug Fortress Jyamato looming over as the massive Kaijin pursued him, alternating between launching its many tentacles or firing laser beams as the fleeing Rider, forcing him to weave left and right in an effort to avoid them.

Narrowly avoiding another of the fleshy tendril, Geats aimed his Magnum Shooter 40X at the Slug Fortress and fired off several shots in response, his shots however proving to be seemingly ineffective against the massive Boss.

"Tsk, of course that wouldn't work. It is a fortress after all." Geats scolded himself, triggering his grip on the bike's handlebars and twisted the throttle sharply, resulting in the bike picking up speed. "Guess I'll have to try a different approach."

The chase between Rider and Jyamato continued, the Boostriker practically a red and black blur as it tore through the streets until Geats finally arrived at his destination, at the large bridge that connected the two halves of the city.

Racing across it Geats hit the break sharply once he reached the other side of the structure, twisting the bike around as he skidded to a halt. Looking up, the Kitsune Rider fixed his gaze upon the Slug Fortress Jyamato as it glided through the air as it got closer, a low growl emanating from the massive creature.

Revving the engine several times, Geats urged the bike forward, popping a wheelie before launching the bike up and onto the guardrail that ran along the side of the structure before driving up the curved beam that ran up and over the top of the bridge before driving off of it towards the Boss Jyamato.

As he did so the Slug Fortress extended its head towards the Rider, parting its massive jaws wide to ensnare Geats inside of its mouth before just as quickly slamming them shut again and swallowing its prey, the air vibrating as it then let out a loud sounding burp.

Its target now done away with, the Slug Fortress Jyamato turned its attention back towards the city when all of a sudden it felt a surge of pain running through its massive body, causing it to let out a low sounding moan as it began losing altitude and plummeted into the ground, plumes of smoke began to erupt from the castle on its back.

Deep within the castle, Geats tore through the halls on the Boostriker, smashing through the interior walls and causing large amounts of damage. "Heh, I should have thought of this sooner." Geats said to himself as he cocked his left arm, "For centuries, castles have always crumbled when brought down from within."

All of a sudden a massive amount of flames erupted from the exhaust pipes mounted onto his arm, propelling the bike forward beyond its top speed as both machine and Rider headed straight towards one of the walls, easily smashing through it and were launched out of the building and back into the city streets and, ironically enough, landed near to where both Rin and Sakura were standing.

Back flipping off of the Boostriker, Geats looked up at the Boss Jyamato, pressing his palm down on the top of his Driver before grabbing the handles of both Boost and Magnum Buckles and spun them round.

REVOLVE ON!

Once more Geats rose into the air as the large hard light right surrounded him, rotating his body around and shifting his armor pieces with the red chest plate and arm pieces becoming leg pictures and the white pieces once again becoming chest plate and shoulder pads.

"This has been fun," Geats said, spinning the chamber of the Magnum Buckle before grabbing the handle of the Boost Buckle and revved the buckle several times, a gout of flames erupting from the red object. "But I think it's time to bring the curtain down."

BOOST TIME!

That done Geats then leaped upwards, a gout of flames from the exhaust pipe on his ankle propelling him high into the air, at the same time the Boostriker suddenly transformed into a robotic looking kitsune, the mechanical creature letting out a screeching noise before it too took to the air.

Rising high above the Slug Fortress Jyamato, Geats landed on the back of the mechanical fox, the robotic creature letting out another cry as he did so, before once again grabbing the handle of the Boost Buckle and gave it another rev.

MAGNUM! BOOST! GRAND VICTORY!

Geats the leapt off of the back of the fox, extending his right foot forward and tucking his left underneath him as he dived towards the Slug Fortress Jyamato, the mechanical fix's body becoming engulfed in flames as it sped after him as a projection of the Geats symbol appeared in front of his extended foot.

The burning mass made contact with the massive Boss Jyamato, punching through its hide and travelled through its body and out of its underside, landing in the street below (once again near to where Rin and Sakura were standing), the Slug Fortress Jyamato letting out one final low moaning sound before flames erupted from within its body and it was as engulfed in a large explosion.

MISSION CLEAR!

Close by Buffa was glaring at his Spider Phone in his hand, his grip tightening around the device as it displayed the results of the game as well as that Geats was the winner.

"Rrrhhhh!" Buffa cried out in frustration, the sound of which echoed through the surrounding area.

Elsewhere in a pocket dimension a hooded figure clad in a white suit and their face adorned in a white mask was surrounded by screens, several of which displayed the events as they unfolded whilst others displayed an image of Tsurumi's face.

"The victory condition was just to protect the city." Tsurumi told them. "It wasn't necessary for him to defeat the last boss."

The masked figure didn't answer her, their attention fixed solely on the screens before them. "Emiya Shirou," They muttered, the sound of their voice distorted. "No, Ukiyo Ace…"

Back in the gathering hall of the Desire Temple, Tsurimi was standing in the middle of the platform as kanji that read 'Advent of the Desire God' appeared behind her "The Desire God has been chosen." She cheered as fireworks suddenly went off. "Yata…"

Back in the streets of Fuyuki, Geats let out a sigh, now that the threat of the Jyamato was over and the game was over his thoughts turned to both Rin and Sakura, both of whom were still standing off to the side, staring at him wide eyed and had dumbfounded looks on their faces.

"Sakura, Tohsaka," He said, walking over to meet them. "Are you two ok?"

"I…I…think." Sakura began only to get cut off by Rin as the ebony haired Senior pushed past her.

"Emiya what the hell…that…you…how…" Rin half yelled, her tone erratic as she blurted out words. "Just what the heck is going on? What was all that?"

"I already told you." Geats replied. "This is a game."

"Game…" Rin muttered. "What kind of game justified this much property damage and risks the lives of innocent bystanders?"

Geats shook his head. He was about to say something when all of a sudden the Boost Buckle attached to his Desire Driver began to vibrate. "Tohsaka," He called out, "Get down."

Rin cocked her head to the side, when all of a sudden the red device suddenly launched itself in her direction forcing her to drop to the ground and narrowly avoid getting hit by it, Sakura letting out an eep as it rocketed past her and flew off.

Geats watched as the red device vanished from view before detaching the Magnum Buckle from his Desire Driver, moments later his white armor disintegrated off of the Kitsune Rider's body leaving Emiya Shirou standing there. No sooner had he done so all of a sudden the sound of a ringing bell rang out, the sound echoing throughout the area.

"So it begins…" The rust haired teen muttered to himself as all of a sudden the debris that littered the area began to radiate a blue aura before lifting off of the ground.

"H…huh…" Sakura exclaimed as watched as all the damage to the surrounding area seemed to undo itself, as if time itself were being reversed. "It's all going away."

"The game's over now," Shirou told the purple haired girl. "The board's being reset."

"Reset…" Rin muttered. "You mean that this world is ending?"

"Yeah, this is a game to recreate the world," Shirou said as he turned to look at both her and Sakura as a bright flash of light engulfed the area and the sound of the bells became deafening. "The new world now begins…"

Rin's suddenly opened and she bolted up into a sitting position, the blankets of the bed thrown back as she sat there wide eyed and panting heavily. Taking in her surroundings she was quick to notice that she was in her room located within the Tohsaka mansion.

"A…a dream…" She muttered to herself, all of a sudden a frown spread itself across her face. "Wait, what was I dreaming about?"

Shirou couldn't help but let out a tired sounding sigh as he entered his home, judging by the lack of lights or any noise coming from within it looked like neither Sakura or Taiga had dropped by which told him that he had the house to himself tonight.

So be it, whilst he was not opposed to their company, he was worn out from the Desire Grand Prix so having some peace and quiet for the evening suited him just fine. Being the savior of the world was tiring work.

His assumption however turned out to be an error, upon entering the living room he was greeted to the sight of Tsurumi seated at his table. "Tsurumi-san." He muttered.

"Good evening Shirou-sama," Tsurumi greeted the rust haired teen as he sat down across from her at the table. "Congratulations on becoming the Desire God."

"Thank you, the Game Master sure didn't make it easy." Shirou replied as he rested an elbow on the table's surface before resting his face against his palm.

"Speaking of the Game Master, he and the DGP's producers are already hard at work preparing the next instalment of the Desire Grand Prix." Tsurumi continued, Shirou shaking his head at her saying this.

"Hmm, I shouldn't really be surprised." He said, chuckling a little. "I look forward to seeing what you're cooking up for us next time."

"I had a feeling you'd say that. That's the reason for my visit." Tsurumi said, rising to her feet. "On behalf of the staff of the Desire Grand Prix I'm here to invite you to take part in a special game, one that's exclusive to a small number of players."

"Special game," Shirou replied, cocking an eyebrow. "What kind of game are we talking about?"

"Many years ago, the organizers of the Desire Grand Prix learned of a form of ritualistic combat called the Holy Grail War," Tsurumi informed him. "The Holy Grail War was fought between a group of seven specially chosen participants who would compete in a last man standing fight to the death where the overall winner would be granted their hearts desire."

"Doesn't sound that much different from the regular Desire Grand Prix to me." Said Shirou, sounding unimpressed. "What exactly is so special about 'Holy Grail War'?"

"Well for one the individuals that took part were Magi, and since you did receive some training in that area the hope is that you would compete on behalf of the Desire Grand Prix." Tsurumi told him. "The second is that unlike the normal Desire Grand Prix, the participants of the Holy Grail War do not compete on their own, the Magi chosen to compete call forth a special type of spirit that they refer to as a Servant to act as a support for them."

"Servant…" Shirou replied, sounding more intrigued at hearing this.

"Yes, to put it simply a Servant, or rather Heroic Spirit, is the spirit of a great warrior from the past, one famous for accomplishing great feats and have been enshrined in legend. As such the chosen participants have the chance to call upon some of history's most notable figures to assist them."

This peeked Shirou's attention even more, the summoning of historical figures. Fighting with and against some of the greatest warriors in Earth's history. This really would be a Desire Grand Prix unlike any that he'd competed in thus far.

"As for the Grail War itself it had only been held a few times and the first two were absolute disaster's. Still the premise intrigued the organizers and the Holy Grail War was integrated into the Desire Grand Prix." Tsurumi continued. "Based upon your performance since joining the DesiGran the organizers have decided that the time was right to bring it back. So what do say Shirou-sama, are you interested in competing?"

Shirou was silent as he mulled this over, absentmindedly his hand slipped itself into his pocket and pulled out the gold coin and flicked it into the air, letting it rotate several times before catching it.

Taking a moment, he gazed upon the golden object that he was holding, as he did so a vision of the blond haired woman with those stunning green eyes he'd seen the first time he'd touched the ID Core momentarily flashed before his eyes, the image bringing a ghost of a smile to appear on Shirou's lips for just a moment.

He turned his attention back to Tsurumi. "Holy Grail War huh," He told her, "Alright then, count me in."

A new morning had dawned, the sun burning away the last of the chill of the previous night from the air as Tohsaka Rin, now washed, dressed and fed, readied herself for yet another day of school that was ahead of her.

Opening the front door of her house she stepped out into the early morning only to find Rin Tsurumi standing there before her, in her hands she carried a black box with a yellow with an exclamation mark emblazoned on it.

"Good morning," Tsurumi greeted the Tohsaka heiress. "Tohsaka Rin I take it?"

"Y…yeah, that's me." Rin replied, unsure of what to make of this."Uhh, can I help you with something?"

Tsurumi took a step forward. "Congratulations, after careful consideration, we have decided to choose you as our next participant," She announced, presenting the box to the confused looking Rin. "Starting now, you are a Kamen Rider!"

Little did Tohsaka Rin realize that she wasn't the only one that would be getting a visit from Tsurumi today.

That morning Tsurumi was hard at work, visiting over a dozen different locations all across Fuyuki and approaching a large variety of different people, bringing with her a familiar looking box and greeting them with the same message. "Congratulations! Starting now, you are a Kamen Rider!"

Sakura had just arrived at the building that housed the Archery Club and was headed straight for the girls changing room, the Archery Competition was only a few weeks away and Fujimaru-sensei was dead set on bringing home the trophy, meaning that she and the other club members could expect to be pushed and drilled harder than normal.

"Yo, Sakura…" The purple haired girl had just begun to change into her kyuudou gear when she heard her name being called out, looking over she saw one of the other club girls standing in the doorway. "There's someone out here for you."

"M…me…" Sakura replied. "Who is it?"

"No clue, never seen her before." The girl replied. "Just said she's here to speak with you."

Sakura frowned at this, taking a moment to quickly buttoning up her shirt she exited the room and standing next to the main entrance of the building she found Tsurumi, several other members of the club shooting glances at her.

"Matou Sakura?" The ebony haired woman upon seeing Sakura exiting the changing room.

"H…hai…" Sakura replied awkwardly. "C…can I help you with something?"

Tsurumi didn't reply at first, instead she strode towards the purple haired who looked more than a little taken aback by the ebony haired young woman's boldness.

"Congratulations!" Tsurumi told Sakura as she presented the purple haired teen with the box she was holding. "Starting now, you are a Kamen Rider!"

Matou Shinji had been seated at a table in a patisserie surrounded by several members of his fan club when Tsurumi found him, the seaweed haired youth looking to be engrossed in boasting about some exploit of his to his female audience as she approached.

"Matou Shinji." She spoke up, making her presence known as well as cutting off whatever yarn the young man was spinning.

Hearing his name spoken, Shinji's head instantly snapped in Tsurumi's direction, a look of annoyance on his face at being interrupted, this however instantly changed when he saw whom it was that stood before him.

"Ohhh, what do we have here?" He said, his eyes roaming across the body of the of the beautiful woman that stood before him. "Why hello there ma'am, what can I do for you?"

"Congratulations!" Tsurumi said, presenting him with the box, whilst she didn't say it, she wanted to get away from this boy as quickly as possible. "Starting now, you are a Kamen Rider!"

Bazett Fraga McRemitz had a determined look on her face as she walked purposely through the arrivals terminal of Fuyuki's airport.

"Bazett McRemitz." Hearing her name, the magenta haired Association member stopped in her tracks and turned to look in the direction that her name had been spoken, finding Tsurumi standing there, box in hand.

"That's right?" Bazett replied. "You wouldn't happen to be a taxi sent to pick me up, are you?"

Tsurumi shook her head, offering the Association member an apologetic smile "I'm afraid not." She replied before presenting the box to her. "Congratulations! Starting now, you are a Kamen Rider!"

Illyasviel had a deep frown etched into her child-like face as she strode through one of the many halls located within the Einzbern stronghold, a lavish European castle-like building located deep within the forest located to the west of Fuyuki, her maid Sella walking several respectful paces behind her.

Not minutes she'd been in her room planning on how to best approach her adopted younger brother when Sella arrived to inform her that there was someone in the main entrance who was here to see her and whoever they were they were quite adamant on meeting with her.

Hearing this had caught the Einzbern Magus off guard, she'd not been expecting any guests, indeed outside of her family as well as the Overseer no one would know of her location, plus the Bounded Field that covered the area should have altered her to the presence of any unwanted guests, said field was also designed to convince any unsuspecting souls that stumbled across this location to turn sway, yet this individual who wished an audience with her had somehow to get past the castle's defences and arrive without making their presence known.

Annoyed and somewhat intrigued at this situation it wasn't long before Illyasviel and her small entourage found themselves standing atop the staircase that overlooked the building's entrance hall, standing in the floor below were a pair of individuals, one of whom was her other maid, Leysritt, the hooded Homunculus staring blankly at the guest/intruder who was a dark haired woman clad in white and black, carrying with her a yellow box with a black lid, wielding as well as a dark haired woman clad in white and black, carrying with her a black box with a yellow lid. The dark haired woman shooting glances towards the rather fearsome looking halberd that Leysritt held casually at her side.

Hearing the sound of approaching footsteps Tsurumi averted her gaze to the staircase where she found Illyasviel being accompanied by Sella, watching as the pair descended.

"Illyasviel von Einzbern?" Tsurumi asked as the silver haired girl drew closer.

"Indeed, it appears you have sense enough to know your betters." Illya replied in a haughty tone as she stepped off of the stairs and approached Tsurumi, Sella following close behind. "Now who are you and what do you wish of me?"

"Congratulations!" Tsurumi said as she presented the shorter girl with the box she was carrying. "Starting now, you are a Kamen Rider!"

Azuma Michinaga had just about to begin another day of work at the construction site when Tsurumi approached him.

"Congratulations! Starting now, you are a Kamen Rider!" Tsurumi said as she held the box out towards the construction worker.

Michinaga stared at the box the dark haired woman was holding out to him before turning his gaze back to Tsurumi's face. "Who are you?" He asked.

Rin stared at the box in her hand before slowly removing the yellow lid, inside she was greeted to the sight of a Desire Driver as well as a green ID core that sported an image that resembled a raccoon's head.

Glancing up Rin gage Tsurumi's expression, the dark haired older woman's face never shifting from her smile, before turning her attention back to the contents of the box and reached into it, her fingers brushing against the green ID Core with a black spot in top that depicted what looked to be a Tanuki's head.

The moment her fingers made contact with it, the ebony haired Heiress's eyes suddenly widened and her breath caught itself in her throat as a slew of images flashed before her eyes

"Wha…what the," Rin exclaimed, panting heavily as she made sense of what she'd witnessed. "That…that was no dream."

Little did Rin realize that she was alone as this discovery, Sakura too opened her box to find similar contents. However the ID Core she found contained within was dark blue with a golden circle on top with the depiction of a cat's head printed on it and, upon touching it, her own memories of what had occurred were restored to her.

Standing upon the roof of one of Fuyuki's tallest buildings, Shirou gazed out at the view of the city that spread out before him, tossing his Roman coin into the air and catching it again as he did so.

The newest round of the Desire Grand Prix was set to begin soon and, according to Tsurumi, the upcoming game, this Holy Grail War, would be unlike anything he'd experienced before. The whole thing made him rather excited.

Right now Tsurumi was out recruiting contestants to compete in this upcoming round. Who would they get this time? What old faces would get called up and would any of the newbies provide him with a challenge?

"Welcome to my world." Shirou said, as if addressing the world before him, snatching his coin out of the air as he did so.

AN And like that this new chapter, which marks the 2nd anniversary of this project, is in the bag. Sorry that its getting posted a couple of days late, I really no excuses other than for some reason I just felt really unmotivated for some reason. Also this was pretty long. we're talking 12,000 + words, so this part will be short.

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of this project here's one that I believe a lot of you were eager for, my take on Kamen Rider Geats. Shirou in this story is essentially the latest reincarnation of Ace means he's Geats while Rin is Tycoon and Sakura is Na-Go. I know someone, I can't recall who, really wanted Shirou to Tycoon sorry but that was never going to happen.

Secondly this explains how the Holy Grail War and the Desire Grand Prix can coexist with each other, basically the HGW used to be its own thing but has since its been taken over and has been incorporated into the DGP following the 4th War cos frankly all four wars up to that point were absolute disasters and have never run smoothly.

So yeah, the Holy Grail War is basically the theme of the next installment of the Desire Grand Prix, the competitors of which will be able to summon their Servants provided that they survive the preliminary round.

Also I get that this one is essentially Episode 1 of Geats with a few minor tweaks, hope that's not a problem for all of you.

No seriously, there's a guy on Youtube called Tsiah IV who dose lore videos on the Type Moonverse and according to him the Holy Grail Wars has always been an absolute shit show.

I think that this is a good place to call it, I know I usually talk about what's been going on in Rider and Sentai but this chapter already pretty long as it is. Only thing I'll mention is that Today we got the name of the new Kamen Rider that will be following up Gotchard, Kamen Rider Gavv.

Aside from that I've couple of new chapters on the works right now, one of those being for Fourze and for the other I finally figured out an idea for Kuuga. The last one is kind of experimental, what that is you'll just have to wait and see.

As always feel free to drop a review and let me know what you thought of this instalment and thank you so much for sticking with me for 2 years.

Until next time, peace out y'all
