Chapter ?: A Traitor's Sprint

Ten thousand years ago, a massive battle royal known as the Battle Fight was fought by fifty-two demons known as the Undead, each representing a species fighting for dominance over all others. The winner was the Human Undead, known as Category Two of Hearts, giving dominion of the Earth to humanity. In the present day, archaeologists discover the sealed Undead, and accidentally set them free. Thus, a new Battle Fight begins...

A deep scowl etched itself into Saber's face as she strode the streets of Shinto District, her foul mood evident for any and all unfortunate enough to come across her.

As to what was the root cause of her displeasure, she, not for the first time, was feeling a great amount of frustration towards the man who she'd betrayed and abandoned her former Master in order to follow.
Gilgamesh, she truly despised the man. Even after ten years that smug bastard had not changed one bit.

Sure, her relationship with Shirou had been far from harmonious, but she could safely say that the rust haired Emiya had been far easier for her to coexist with in comparison to the Uruk King.

That arrogant, self absorbed, egotistical bastard. It had been he who had convinced her to abandon Shirou to follow him instead, and in exchange he had promised her the Holy Grail, a promise that he was yet to make good, instead her new Master seemed content with screwing her around.

So why stay with him, why continue to put up with his insufferable attitude and overbearing ego? After all she'd already forsaken one Master, betraying every ounce of honour and conviction that she possessed in the process. Would it really be difficult to do so for a second time?

No, no, she wouldn't do that, she couldn't, for her to do so for a second time, that would mean…

No, this was for the best. Shirou, he'd made it abundantly clear that he had little to no intention of pursuing the Holy Grail and the golden bastard had given his word that he would lead her to what she so desired.
Regardless it was far too late for her to be turning back now, this path for better or for ill was the one she had chosen to follow. And she would follow it.

So, for now, she would endure her new Master's…quirks, she would hold her tongue and put up with his irritating attitude and his smarmy demeanor. So long as made good on his promise and presented her with the Holy Gral it would all be worth it in the end. It had to be.

In any case, what she really needed right now was something, anything, to take her frustrations out on.

So engrossed in her bad mood, Saber was barely paying attention to her surroundings. She didn't seem to notice that she'd wandered onto the grounds of one of the area's hotels, one whose grounds hadan outdoor swimming pool around which several sun loungers were arranged.

"Do you mind," He voice spoke up, catching Saber's attention. "You're disturbing the peaceful atmosphere."

Looking over, the former King of England was met by the sight of a long haired man clad in a beige coloured baggy shirt and baggy pants laid out on a sun lounger, his face covered by a sun hat laid out on one of the loungers.

"Excuse me?" The English Servant snapped in retort, in no mood to put up with this stranger's cheek.

"Your foul temper, I can practically feel it from here." The stranger replied, slipping his hat onto the top of his head before shifting himself into a sitting position. "If you're going to be in a bad mood, be so kind as to do it somewhere else."

"My mood?" Saber retorted, fixing the stranger with a stern glare. "My mood is of no business of yours."

"So hostile," The long haired man sighed, getting to his feet. "And here I was hoping to be able to avoid such unnecessary things. I was content to let the others fight it out amongst themselves, all I wished for was to be left alone in peace. I do so detest conflict…"

"Muttering to yourself, and you have the gall to call me insensitive." Saber snapped. "If you have a problem with me then at least have the courtesy of standing by your convictions instead of shrinking like a coward at the first sign of hostility"

Getting to his feet, the long haired man fixed Saber with a stern look, his gaze lasting several seconds before letting out another sight. "I do so detest conflict. Then again, since you're not a regular human…" He said to himself. "Very well then, if conflict is what you desire, then I suppose I have no choice but to indulge you."

All of a sudden the stranger's form shifted, becoming wider and bulkier, taking on an appearance that somewhat resembled an elephant, armed with a pair of spiked balls attached to chains that dangled off of his right wrist while in his left hand he wielded a mace with a curved handle that sported a curved blade attached to its base.

"An Undead…?" Saber muttered, taken aback a little by the stranger's sudden change.

"You are aware of my kind I see," The Elephant Undead said, sounding a little surprised. "Come then Servant, you are the one who sought out this engagement. However, I should warn you, while I do so detest conflict do not mistake me incapable of it."

"In the country, this is just perfect. As you've surmised, I'm in a bad mood today." Saber replied, in the blink of an eye her combat gear appeared in her body, raising her wind encased sword in readiness, "I need something to vent my frustrations on. You'll do perfectly."

For a moment both Saber and the Elephant Undead narrow eyed stared at one another, both of waiting to see what the other would do, before Saber dashed forward, moving in a burst of speed that to the average person would seem that she vanished before reappearing just as quickly, bring down her sword as if she were attempting to cut down the large land mammal in a single swing.

Seeing the former King's attempt, the Elephant Undead reacted, doing so at a pace that belayed his bulky frame, side stepping out of the way of Saber's sword, narrowing his gaze at Saber who glanced over in his direction.

With a low sounding growl, the Elephant Undead responded by swinging his large chain array at Saber who reacted almost immediately, seemingly blinking out of existence once again, avoiding the two large cast iron sphere that slammed into the ground, leaving behind a sizable creator and leaving behind large cracks, before reappearing once more back in her original position,
"You, you're not like the other Undead that I've encountered." Saber commented, watching as the bulky Kaijin turned to look in her direction, "They were mostly mindless beasts, but you, you're quite different."

"That's to be expected." The Elephant Undead replied, spinning his chain array, "High ranked Undead such as myself are far in a way superior to those of the lower category."
"Superior," Saber said, the layer of air that surrounded her sword began swirling with more intensity. "I'll be the judge of that…"

Thrusting her weapon forward, Saber unleashed a powerful blast of wind towards the Elephant Undead, the heavy weight Undead doing his best not to get swept away by it until it finally died away, free from the buffeting winds he looked over to where Saber had been standing only to find her missing.

"Hmmm, gone," He muttered to himself, "Where is…"

All of a sudden something from above caught his attention, averting his gaze upwards he was in time to see Saber descending from above, bringing her sword down as she shot towards him.
With only moments to react the Elephant Undead again side stepped out of the way, narrowly avoiding Saber's sword as it cleaved the air where he had been seconds beforehand.

Seeing an opening, the Undead swung its mace at Saber, the blond haired Servant barely managing to react in time, raising her sword she attempted to intercept the Kaijin's weapon only for the force of the blow to knock her off if her feet and send her flying where she landed out in the street.

"So…so strong…" Saber muttered to herself as she picked herself up off of the ground. "That one, he's indeed different from the other Undead…"
As she gathered herself, a dark circle shadow suddenly fell over Saber, realizing what it was she quickly dived towards the ground, narrowly avoiding being crushed by the Elephant Undead as he slammed into the ground where she had been mere seconds before.

Letting out a low sounding moan, the heavy weight Kaijin raised his head, fixing his gaze upon Saber who in turn stared back at him. "So, have you had enough yet?" The heavy weight Kaijin asked as he approached.

"Hardly Undead," Saber retorted as she got back to her feet and resumed her fighting stance. "I am far from done yet."

Hearing the Elephant Undead let out a sigh. "It's pointless," He told her, "As an Undead, I am truly immortal, even one such as you dose not possess the power to kill me."
"I am aware of that, even still it will not deter me." Saber replied, raising her sword in preparation, "I will not be satisfied until I see you fallen before me."

"Stealing my prey are you." Came a voice of an unseen person, "I thought that, as a Saber Servant, you'd have a sense of honor. Then again, after what you did to Emiya, I guess I could have heard wrong."
Hearing this new voice, both Saber and the Elephant Undead turned to look in the newcomers direction, both of them greeted by the sight of Matou Shinji leaning against his personal motorcycle, Green Clover, the seaweed haired teen sporting a nasty looking smirk on his face.

"You," The Elephant Undead muttered as he glared at Shinji, "You look human and yet, the smell, you have the same scent as an Undead."

"Matou Shinji," Saber said, fixing the seaweed haired teen with a narrow eyed look of disapproval, "What are you doing here?"

"Why, I'm on the same mission as Emiya," Shinji replied, holding up his Leangle Buckle. "I'm hunting Undead."

"You, you of all people, were able to become one of these Kamen Riders?" Saber scoffed, "BOARD's standards must be even lower than I first thought or they must be truly desperate if they need someone like you to fight for them"

"Why you…" Shinji snarled, glaring at Saber before quickly composing himself, "I wouldn't speak like that if I were you, especially since you've hardly a leg to stand on. Frankly I'm surprised you even have the stones to show your face in public after what you did."

"You know about that?" Saber said, cocking an eyebrow. "How did you learn of this?"

"Oh, I have my ways. That's the problem with everyone, always underestimating me." Shiji said casually, "Although, I confess that I really didn't have to look very hard. A Servant that betrayed their Master, it was quite the hot topic of conversation amongst those competing in the Holy Grail War."

Saber's eyes narrowed and the frown on her face deepened as she glared at the seaweed haired teen.

"But enough of that, the Grail is not why I am here." Shinji continued, "I'm here for you, I want your power."
"Naive child," The Elephant Undead retorted, "You really think that I can be defeated by the likes of you?"

"Rider's fight and seal Undead, that's the way both Emiya and Tachibana told me how it works." Shinji said, pulling out his Category Ace Rouze Card, "The more Undead I seal the stronger I will become. You, you will become mine and grant me even more power."

Placing the Category Ace on the translucent plate before placing the Leangle Buckle against his waist and slid the plate closed, a line of purple cards emerged from it, creating the strap that secured the belt around his waist.

Curled his right arms horizontally across his stomach while curling the left above it vertically, his open palm splayed in front of his face. "Henshin…" He declared, swiping both hands across the front of his buckle, separating it to reveal the club's symbol beneath.

️A. OPEN UP…

The rectangular purple orichalcum with the spider symbol emerged from the buckle a short distance before retracting, passing over Shinji, donning him in the Leangle armor, pulling out his Leangle Rouzer from its holster at his side, the shaft of staff extending itself while the rounded teardrop shaped blade mounted at the top unfurled itself to for the club symbol shaped attachment.
Twirling his polearm, Leangle let out a small, cocky sounding chuckle before he then charged forward towards the Elephant Undead, swinging the Leangle Rouzer at the green and black Undead in an attempt to strike it down on for Saber to step in front of him, blocking his weapon with her own.

"What!" Leangle exclaimed, "What the heck are you doing, getting in my way?"

"Stay out of this child," She told the green and gold Rider, "This creature's business is with me."

No sooner had she said this, Saber threw her full weight behind her sword, shoving Leangle backwards with a mighty heave and sent him stumbling backwards a short distance before he was sent sprawling across the ground.

Glaring at Saber as he pushed himself up off the ground, Leangle slid open the Card Deck at his side, the green and gold Rider pulled out one of his cards, rotating his Leangle Rouzer around and swiped the card through the Slash Reader attached to the butt of the staff.

️9. SMOG

Getting quickly to his feet, Leangle rotated his Rouzer back around before thrusting it in Saber's direction, releasing a cloud of purple noxious mist at her.

Unphased, the wind that encased Saber's sword increased in intensity once again, thrusting her sword forward and unleashing a powerful blast of air that blew away Leangle's cloud of poisonous mist.

"You really are foolish to think that such a tactic would work on a Servant such as myself." The former king told the green and gold Spider Rider, her voice filled with disdain. "If you have to rely on such feeble tactics then you have no hope of defeating strong opponents."

"Feeble," Leangle snarled, producing two new Rouze Cards and swiping them through his Rouzer's Slash Reader.

4. RUSH2. STAB

Grabbing the shaft of his weapon tightly, Leangle lunged towards Saber, his speed far greater than it had been before, thrusting the clover themed blade towards her chest only for his attempt to be once again blocked.

"Like I said, such feeble tactics are ineffective against me, child." She told Leangle.

"You…you…" Leangle snarled, swinging his weapon at Saber only for her to effortlessly block his attempt with her sword.

The two of them then proceeded to exchange blows at one another, quickly finding their weapons locked together, both former king and Spider Rider glaring at one another. That was until a large shadow fell over the pair, both of them turned to see the Elephant Undead standing there, the green and black Undead lashing out by swinging its iron balls at the duo, the force behind the swing sending both Saber and Leangle flying before they slammed back down into the ground.

"You two, I find the both of you most disagreeable." The mammalian Undead said sternly, fixing both Leangle and Saber with a stern glare as he watched them pick themselves up. "I had no intention of getting involved in the battles, but you two, your mere presence alone has forced me to involve myself."

"Bastard, are you mocking me?" Leangle growled as he got back to his feet. "You think that I'm gonna let you get away with that?"

"As much as I am loath to do so, I have to agree." Saber replied as she too rose back up. "This beast, he needs to be shown his place."

Grasping the hilt of her sword tightly in both of her gauntlet clad hands, the blond haired Servant of the Sword moved into engage the heavy weight Undead once again, attempting once again to slash at him with her sword only for him to block it with his mace.

From his position, Leangle watched as the two engaged each other, both Saber and the Undead seemingly too fixated on each other and to be distracted dealing with Saber, Leangle produced two new Rouze Cards, running through the Rouzer's Slash Reader.

5. BITE6. BLIZZARD BLIZZARD CRUSH

Leangle charged forward a few steps before leaping into the air, performing a mid air somersault and kicking out his legs towards the Elephant Undead and Saber, unleashing a blast of extreme cold at them.
The Elephant grabbed a hold of Saber and pulled her in front of him, using her to shield himself from the icy wind that Leangle launched at him, the former king becoming encased in a layer of ice.

His attack not yet finished Leangle descended towards the frozen form of Saber, striking her with a flying scissor kick which shattered the ice that contained her and knocked her crackling body to the ground where she was engulfed in an explosion.

"Wha…what are you playing at?" Saber snapped at the green and gold Rider, "Could you not see that I was engaged against that beast?"

"Hardly my fault, don't get in my way next time," Leangle replied, from his tone it was evident that he wasn't the slightest bit remorseful. "You really are useless, at first I laughed at Emiya for losing his Servant but now, I'm betting that he's all too happy to be rid of you."

A low sounding snarl escaped from the blond haired as she struggled back to her feet, glaring hatefully at the Spider Rider.
Before he could even attempt to engage the high level Undead, a sudden blur shot past Leangle, knocking him to the ground before seconds later a second blur zipped past Saber, the Servant of the Sword managing to avoid being struck.

Turning to look in the sound direction both Saber and Leangle were met by the sight of several humanoid figures sporting wolf like features headed towards them.
"More foul beasts." She muttered, raising her sword to block the lupin like creature's claws as it took a swipe at her.

"What…what are these things?" Leangle exclaimed as he looked about himself, finding half a dozen of the creatures surrounding him, Saber and the Elephant Undead.

"It seems that the Wolf Undead has been busy." The Elephant Undead commented, knocking one of the wolfmen with a swing of his mace as it leapt towards him, "Humans slain by that one are resurrected as his mindless thralls, while they're not very strong they will continue being active until he is defeated."

"You mean to say that there could potentially be no end to these things?" Saber replied as she swung her sword, releasing a powerful blast of air that knocked the wolf head men backwards.

"That is none of my concern." The Elephant Undead replied, swatting another of the creatures aside before he turned away from both Saber and Leangle and began walking off.

"Your…you're just going to leave us here to deal with these…these…things?" Leangle cried out, gripping his Leangle Rouzer in both hands, part of its shaft wedged in the mouth of one of the wolf men.

"I already told you; I have no desire to involve myself in conflict." The heavy weight Undead retorted as he assumed a bent kneed crouch, "Since you two insist in involving yourselves with us, then as far as I'm concerned, you can be the ones to deal with these mindless creatures."

His piece said, the Elephant Undead then leaped high into the air, soaring past the high rise buildings and vanishing from sight, leaving both Leangle and Saber to fight off the pack of wolfmen.

The engines of both Blue Spader and Red Rhombus roared as Shirou and Tachibana tore through the cities and, doing so unseen in his spiritual form, Archer was following after them, leaping from rooftop top roof top, all three of them doing their best to avoid the numerous crashed cars and vehicles as they attempted to chase down their fleeing target.

Shirou had not idea as to what reason that both Tohsaka and the tanned skinned Servant had agreed to assist what remained of BOARD deal with the Undead, even if the tanned skinned Servant seemed to be doing so begrudgingly.

Even so the Undead they'd been dealing with as of late seemed to be getting stronger and more difficult to deal with, while he'd rather not involve any he'd begrudgingly accept their help.

Shirai, no, the Wolf Undead had used them. He'd gotten their hopes up that maybe, just maybe, BOARD could be restored to full working order as a force against the Undead. But it was all a lie, all of it had been done for the purpose of completing Black Fang.

Using the bike as an amplifier for its powers, producing a field of green energy around itself to shield itself from attacks or create a shockwave to either disable or shake off pursuers, using it to leave devastation in its wake.

Shirou glanced over at Tachibana who rode beside him, he couldn't help but recall the older man's words after they'd learned of Shirai's true identity as the Wolf Undead.

"I'm the same, when I saw Black Fang…for a moment it felt like we had returned to when BOARD still existed, I was reminded of the ideals that Chief Karasuma and I shared. But we cannot go back in time. Shirou, it's time to face reality, the BOARD that we belonged to is never coming back. But, Shirou, my comrade, my brother in arms, is still here. So long as we don't forget them, those ideals, that is all we need."

'Tachibana-san…'
Looking at the older man riding alongside him, Shirou couldn't help but feel that nagging feeling again.

Tachibana had been a part of BOARD for most of his adulthood, it was practically his life's work. The whole reason for him going rogue had been because he'd been convinced that Chief Karasuma had betrayed him, it just went to show how dedicated to the company he had been.

Afterward his betrayal he continued fighting and sealing the escaped Undead, first for misguided reasons, reasons that Isaka had been quick to take advantage of, now they were an act of penance for what he'd done.
Even now, despite BOARD's dissolution, he was still devoted to the company and what he and Chief Karasuma believed that it stood for. Something that had made Shirai's actions sting all the more for him.

But, what about himself, for what reason did he fight, it was a question that had been plaguing him for some time now. He knew what he wanted, the same thing that he'd promised to Kiritsugu all those years ago. To become a hero that had the power to save everyone. Joining BOARD and becoming Blade, they had allowed him to do that.

But BOARD was now gone and while sealing the Undead was his main priority for the moment that would, hopefully, soon pass. Once the threat of the Undead had passed, what was he supposed to do then?
So why, for what reason did he continue to fight? What did it really mean to be a Kamen Rider?

Way ahead of them the noise from both Shirou and Tachibana's machines attracted the Wolf Undead's attention, glanced behind he saw the two of them coming up from behind, letting out a low sounding growl as it noticed them. Gripping the throttle of his mount, he revved Black Fang's engine as he attempted to pull away.

"He's trying to get away," Tachibana muttered before he glanced over in the younger Rider's direction, "Shirou, we need to seal him before he can cause any more damage."

"Got it, Tachibana-san." Shirou replied, nodding his head as he and the dark haired man beside him reached towards their respective Buckles that were already attached around their waists.

"Henshin…"/"Henshin…" They both announced, flipping the Rouse Cradle over and releasing their respective Orichalcum Element from Buckle's Element Radiation Muzzle.

A. TURN UP…

Revving their bikes engines the two of them passed through the card shaped element, the Blade and Garren Armors appearing on their bodies as they raced after the fleeing Undead.
multiple waves of green energy radiating off of The Wolf Undead, knocking both Blade and Garren off balance resulted in the two of them almost crashing before they managed to catch themselves.

"Damnit…" Blade growled, punching his bikes handlebar of his bike as he watched as the Wolf Undead sped away. "Tachibana-san, are you alright?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm good." Garren replied as he too watched the Wolf Undead sped off. "That energy that the Undead is able to project, there has to be a way to overcome it…"

"Perhaps I can offer some assistance." Archers disembodied voice, the air shimmering as he appeared before both Blade and Garren, accompanied by the faint sound of chimes. "Something I observed stood out to me. Before you and Emiya Shirou arrived that Undead was racing against another biker, that biker managed to get right behind him, they seemed to be completely unaffected by the energy that the Undead was putting out."

"Unaffected…" Garren said to himself, all of a sudden everything clicked into place, "That…that's it. Archer, we're close to the docks, aren't we?"

"We're a short distance away from them, yes." Archer informed the red Stag Beetle Rider.

"Shirou, when I say so go on ahead and get directly behind him. Using the slipstream Fang produces will shield you from its energy attacks." Garren ordered, "Archer, we need lure the Undead down to the dockside, there should be fewer bystanders to get caught in the crossfire."

"Right." Blade replied, nodding his head in agreement.

"Understood." Archer added before her turned on his heel and darting away, vanishing from sight after a few steps as he resumed his Spiritual Form.

Revving their engines of their bikes Blade and Garren took off, resuming the chase their pursuit of the Wolf Undead who unleashed more of its green energy which resulted in more vehicles being knocked off of the road. Before long the intersection with the turn off to that led to the city's docks came into view.

They needed something, anything, to get the Wolf Undead to head down that there and away from the busy streets. If that didn't happen, they'd have more casualties on their hands.

As the Undead sped towards the intersection all of a sudden, a barrage of glowing arrows rained down from above and impacting the road, seeing this the Wolf Undead barely managed to swerving to avoid them, forced to turn down into a different street, now headed in the desired direction.

"Shirou, go now." Garren ordered.

"On it." Blade replied, pulling back on the throttle and speeding up to go on after the Wolf Undead, turning onto the same street that the black skinned lupin had turned down, the Knight of Spades produced his Category 9 Rouze Card, scanning it through Blur Spader's Slash Reader.

️9. MACH

Almost immediately the effects of the sealed Undead on the machine, at speeds beyond whatit would be incapable of normally, quickly catching up to the Wolf Undead.

"I'm heading out." Archer's disembodied voice told Garren as he watched as Blade took off. "I trust that you two can handle this from here."

Glanced over, the lupin Undead let out a low growl of annoyance to find Blade hot on his trail, swerving from one side of the road to the other in an effort to shake the blue and silver Beetle Rider off.
Despite this effort Balde continued his pursuit, not allowing the lupin themed Kaijin out of his sight, positioning himself behind his target, his front wheel inches from away the black motorcycle's back wheel.

Frustrated, the Wolf Undead channeled his energies into the machine beneath him, multiple waves of green projecting outwards around him in another attempt to shake off his pursier only Balde close proximity to Black Fang to render this effort moot.

Seeing the entrance to the dockside up head, Blade seized his chance, revving Blue Spader's engine a few more times before pulling out from behind the Wolf Undead before racing out ahead of him. Arriving at the Quayside, Blade skidded to a stop, dismounting the Bladed Spader and turned to face the Wolf Undead as it sped towards him, unfurling the Open Tray attached to his Blay Rouzer and picked out one of his Rouze Cards, running it through his weapons Slash Reader.

️2. SLASH

The blade of his sword glowing with electric blue energy, Blade took aim at the Wolf Undead and slashed at him as he passed by, catching him by the throat and knocking him clear from Black Fang which fell to and skidded a short ways across the ground before coming to a stop.

With his opponent down, Blade moved into engage the Wolf Undead, not wanting to give it a chance to get close to Black Fang again.

As the two of them fought it out Garren pulled up on his Red Rhombus, drawing his Garren Rouzer from its holster and aimed it towards the Undead, just as he was about to open fire the slight of the fallen form of Black Fang caught his attention.

Seeing the bike laying there on the ground he was once again reminded of BOARD and the words spoken to him by Chief Karasuma, how the work and research they were conducting would be in benefit for all humanity.

'Goodbye…our Black Fang…'
Squeezing the trigger a bullet rocketed out of the chamber, twisting as it slicing through the air before reaching its target, moments later Black Fang exploded, engulfed in a release of heat and light, black smoke rising off of smouldering wreckage.

The suddenness of the explosion catching the Wolf Undead by surprise, turning to look at the burning wreckage, this opening allowing Blade to deliver a powerful slash across the Undead's chest, knocking them off balance. Garren following this by unloading a barrage of gunfire, his shots knocking the Undead off of its feet and sent it sprawling across the ground.

Unbeknownst to all three combatants, their confrontation was being observed by someone else. Standing upon the crossbeams of one of the many cranes that lined the area the Elephant Undead, back in his human guise gazed down at the scene that was unfolding below.

"Shirou, lets finish this." Garren told his fellow Rider as he stepped up alongside him.

"Right." Blade replied, both he and Garren unfurling the Open Tray of their respective Rouzer's, both of them selecting a pair of cards and scanned them.

️5. KICK6. THUNDER LIGHTNING BLAST…/5. DROP6. FIRE BURNING SMASH…

Both Blade and Garren leaped, the Knight of Spades performing a frontwards roll into a flying kick, extending his right out in front of him as his foot began to crackle with electricity appeared on his leg.
At the same time Garren performed a flying somersault, both of his boots suddenly glowing with fiery energy, twisting as he fell forward into a flaming drop kick.

Both Rider's attacks struck the Wolf Undead, knocking him backwards where stumbled before he was engulfed in an explosion before he collapsed to the ground, the J engraved buckle on the belt around his waist splitting open.

Pulling out a blank Card, Blade tossed it to the fallen Undead where it embedded itself in his chest, the Wolf Undead letting out a final groan as his body glowed with green energy before he as absorbed and sealed inside of the card which then flew back into the Knight of Spade's hand.

The Undead defeated, Blade glanced towards the card that he was holding. "Category Jack…" He muttered as he turned his attention towards the burning remains of Black Fang, "Tachibana-san, the Undead, they're getting stronger."

"Yeah." Garren replied, sounding solemn as he too gazed upon the flaming remains of the bike that he and Shirou had helped to build, letting out a sigh before he patted Blade's shoulder. "Come on, let's go. No point staying here."

"Yeah…" Blade replied before he and Garren turned back towards where their both their bikes were parked and upon doing so found a man clad in baggy beige coloured clothes, his head covered by a wicker hat standing before them.

"Well done, very well done," The Elephant Undead told them before he turned around and began walking away, "Do not worry, you have nothing to fear from me, I have no desire to fight. I'll leave the fighting and defeating the other Undead to you."

AN I'm posting this much later than I'd like. I hurt my neck earlier in the week and spent most of that time in quite a lot of pain and on top of that I've felt rough the last few days so might have come down with something. So yeah, I've had a bit of a rough week. But whatever, we all know that your not here to pity me.

This chapter see's us return to the world of Kamen Rider Blade. The events are based on Blade episode 25, one episode prior to the arrival of Shima Noboru, aka the Tarantula Undead, and the first appearance of Blade Jack Form.

While the chapter itself is pretty straightforward I really liked how both Saber and Shirou mirror each other by express their doubts about their current situation, something I wasn't planning on doing when this was originally conceived of but looking at it works out really well.

Not only that but chapter also features both Garren and Leangle which means that a) that's another Secondary Rider whose been featured and b) all 4 main Blade Riders have been featured in this project.

Also yes Shinji as Leangle, I get that it seems like an odd choice but after thinking about having him become Leangle could lead to some interesting places you could go since unlike Mutsuki I imagine that Shinji would have no problem surrendering control over to the Spider Undead if it meant he'd get power out of it.

Meanwhile in the world of Toku both Gavv and Boonboomger have quite a bit going on.

Next week's episode of BoonBoomger will be guest staring the ToQGer's, or at the least ToQ1 and Akira will be turning based on the ep 32 trailer, as part of their 10th Anniversary. Not only that but it looks as if, unlike Engine-Oh in the Go-Onger episode as well as Kyoryujin from the King-Ohger/Kyroryuger stuff from last year, they're using the actual physical suit for ToQ-Oh instead of a CGI recreation and seeing it alongside BoonBoom Robo makes me happy. I get that ToQGer isn't to everyone's liking but for me holds a bit of a special place as it was the first Sentai show I watched as it was airing so BoonBoomger's next episode has me pretty excited.

While on the Gavv front we've gotten quite a bit of information since the first episode. First this show's villains, the Granute's, aren't so much space aliens and seems to be more like they come from another dimension. Not only that but they've been operating on Earth for quite a while since Hanto's mother was grabbed and kidnapped by a Granute 18 years prior to episode 1.

Shouma is a member of the Stomach family, which is something that I'm pretty sure we all saw coming but it's still nice to get conformation, and that mother was compressed was turned into spice for Stomach INC's dark treats prior to the first episode. his deceased father was the previous head of Stomach INC and his siblings who might have staged a coup to seize power for themselves.

Having seen the the trailer for episode 6 I got the impression that the show is now starting proper now with Shouma moving in with Sachika (also it looks like she's the one who comes up with the name Gochizo for Shouma's little minions), something I'm grateful for. While it did show off a lot of Shouma's character the whole thing with him drifting around and interacting with random people was kinda starting to get a little stale for me so I'm glad it isn't being dragged out for too long.

On top of the that the next episode will also see Hanto transforming into Kamen Rider Valen, the system being developed by Suga who we first saw in episode 3.

I think that this a good place to sign off. If you feel so inclined drop a review and tell me your thoughts on this instalment, as always your comments are greatly appreciated, and I'll catch you all on the next chapter where we'll be entering October. The days of Summer has passed us by, the days and nights are getting colder and spooky season almost upon us.

So until next time, peace out y'all.
