Chapter ?: POWER to TEARER

The atmosphere was grim as the occupants of the Emiya household reflected on the events that had transpired only a few hours before. Rin, Saber, Archer, Sakura and Rider gathered together in the living room of the Emiya house, Rin, Saber and Sakura gathered around the table while Archer was leaning against the kitchen counter while Rider was sitting off in the corner near to where the television was located, as they mulled over the events that had transpired only a short time ago.

Only Shirou himself and Ankh weren't present, the rust haired boy having relocated himself to the small shed attached to the property while Ankh had been entirely absent since returning to the house.

Those two Yummies that they'd encountered today, ones that unlike anything that any of them had encountered up to now, both who had the ability to produce some kind of dark mist that would consume and erase anything or anyone it came in contact with, leaving not a trace behind.

Shirou had seemingly been most affected by this, watching as those people had been consumed by the dark mists, it left him in a state of panic. and yet tried as any of them might, nothing that any of them possessed seemed to have been effective against them. Worse still, being hit by their attacks had knocked both him and Archer out of their transformations before he'd been caught in a sonic based attack from both Yummies, resulting in him being gravely injured.

"Damnit Emiya," Rin spoke up, fuming as she recalled the rust haired Rider/Magus, charging in recklessly in a vain attempt to get to the people trapped inside the train station, only getting himself caught in the Pteranodon themed Kaijin's attack and getting nothing but himself hurt in the process. "I get he has a hero complex and all but must he be so reckless? He must realise that doing stupid stuff like that is only going to get him killed."

"That's just the type of person Shirou is, he values the life of everyone because he's just that selfless." Saber spoke up, a note of fondness in her voice. "It's an admirable trait of his."

While she didn't speak up Sakura nodded in agreement to Saber's words, her Senpai could never not help someone in need. It was one of the things she admired about him.

Archer however didn't seem to share Saber's sentiment, scoffing at her words. "Something you wish to say Archer?" Saber said, fixing the tanned skinned Servant with a stern look.

"I'm disappointed in you Saber, it turns out you don't understand what kind of person your Master is at all." Archer replied. "Emiya Shirou, he is neither selfless nor is his desire to save people in any way admirable."

In an instant Saber was on her feet, her battle gear appearing on her petite frame. "I strongly urge you to retract those words, Archer." She said to the white haired man, her words carrying a tone of authority, pointing her wind encased sword at him. "Regardless of whatever issue you take with Shirou, I have remained silent on the matter for far too long. I will no longer allow you to defame my Master while in my presence."

Again, Archer scoffed, while the former king's tone may have resulted in those of lesser will to acquiesce to her command, the Servant of the Bow was entirely unphased by both her words and the look she was giving him, brushing both off with ease.

"ENOUGH!" Rin snapped, slamming her hands down upon the table before she stood up, fixing Saber with a stern look. "In case you've already forgotten we've got bigger problems on our hands, we don't have time for petty squabbles."

For the next few moments Rin and Saber glared back and forth at one another, all the while Sakura looked back and forth between them, a concerned look on her face. After what felt like an eternity Saber relented, her sword and battle gear vanishing from off of her person before she resumed her seat.

"Now Archer, you seem to have some insight on the matter," Rin addressed her Servant, still speaking in her strict tone of voice, "Care to share with the rest of us?"

"You are all no doubt aware of the tragedy that befell this city ten years ago, the fire that consumed a large portion of it and resulted in a death count of over 500 people?" Archer told everyone gathered together. "Emiya Shirou was one of those unfortunate to be caught up in it that night, he witnessed things that no young child should ever have to experience."

"Yeah, I'm aware of that." Rin replied, recalling Shirou's reaction when Kirei had brought up the subject of the fire during their meeting with the arbiter. "That night, you can't go through something like that and not come out without a few metal scars."

Saber shifted awkwardly in her seat. While it had been done so upon the order of Emiya Kiritsugu, it didn't feel good to know that her actions had contributed to her current Master's childhood trauma. "What are you getting at Acher?" She asked her fellow Heroic Spirit, "Are you saying that terrible night is the root of Shirou's issues?"

"That night, when his life was saved by Emiya Kiritsugu, Emiya Shirou was empty, a child who had all but resigned himself to the same fate as those who'd also perished in that hellish blaze. Lacking any dreams and desires of his own he latched onto those of Emiya Kiritsugu as a means of justifying his own survival." Archer told Saber, fixing his cold grey eyes upon her, "That is the true root of Emiya Shirou's existence, his irrational desire to help and protect people, even at great cost to himself. It was born not of anything genuine, rather it comes from a twisted need to give meaning to his survival when countless others did not and to give his life purpose."

"Archer, you're saying that the real reason Emiya puts the lives of others above his own because, the way he sees it, his own life has no value." Said Rin, her previous aggression vanishing as she slumped into a sitting position, "Damn, I knew Emiya was distorted but…but I never would have guessed that it was this bad."

"N…no…senpai…" Sakura gasped, her eyes widening as a look of shock and horror spread across her face.

That wasn't right, it couldn't be right. Her Senpai, the one who'd taken her into his home and taught her so much, was a brave and heroic person who helped people because of inane goodness, because it was the right thing to do, that was the Senpai that she knew.

If what Archer was saying was correct, that in reality Senpai's desire to help people was really because he saw no value in himself, it meant that she didn't know him at all.

Or worse, she did know, she'd know all along but didn't want to admit it. Because, if she did, it meant that her beloved Senpai wasn't the person that she'd admired for so long because his true nature and intentions didn't march up to the idealised image that she had of him

"Shirou…" Saber muttered, too shocked by the revelation that Archer had shared to form any form of coherent thought.

In an instant she was taken back to another time, back to the previous Holy Grail War. The banquet of Kings, that meeting between herself, Iskandar and Archer. That night when Iskandar had told her that she was incapable of understanding others, that her emotional distance from her subjects and followers was what had led to her Kingdom's downfall.

Even after all this time, had nothing changed? Shirou. Mordred. Tristan. Lancelot. Guinevere. Was she truly incapable of being close with and understanding the desires and motivation of others, was that the reason that she'd always fail to achieve her goals? A King who could not understand nor care about the wishes of those around him would always be doomed to failure.

"Archer," She said upon finding her voice again, "How can you be so sure of this?"

"Let's just say this isn't the first time I've experienced something like this." Archer replied, shrugging his shoulders, "Survivor's guilt is a terrible thing and Emiya Shirou's is the worst case I've ever seen."

From her spot Rider silently observed Sakura and the others' interaction, listening to their conversation. Hearing what Archer deemed as the true motivations behind Emiya Shirou's actions, it left her feeling ill at ease.

Emiya Shirou, in the time she'd been around him he had, despite their first meeting, been good to her. Granted their relationship was tentative at first, Shirou merely tolerated her presence when she first took up residence in his home and she having no choice but to obey his orders due to the Book of the False Attendant having come into his possession (although he remained clueless to what its actual purpose), still he had endeared himself to her by treated with a level of respect she'd rarely experienced which over time evolved into a genuine kindness she'd rarely ever received from anyone aside from Sakura.

While she saw little hope for herself, her ultimate fate was to become a monster who would ultimately be slain, she did not wish for Emiya Shirou to come to harm.

At first such a thing could have been chalked up to merely complying with Sakura's wishes, despite how tender hearted she was Rider didn't doubt that Sakura would probably never forgive her if she allowed such a thing to happen to the boy she liked, but now…things were a lot more complicated.

These feelings that she harboured, what was she to do? As a Servant her time in this world was limited, regardless of the outcome of the Holy Grail War she would fade away once the Grail was claimed by one of the competing Masters, provided she wasn't defeated first.

Should she act upon these feelings? Would it even be right for her to do so? It was clear to everyone that Sakura harboured strong feelings for Emiya Shirou, would acting upon her own feelings towards the rust haired boy be seen as a betrayal of the timid girl's trust?

Even if that wasn't the case, given her identity and astute history, did she even have the right to feel such things towards anyone? No matter how one looked at it she was a monster and what right did a monster like her have to harbour strong emotions such as love.

"Still, even if it is for twisted reasons, Emiya clearly wants to keep living." Rin said, hoping to lighten the mood somewhat. "Heh, if he were here, I imagine that weirdo Kougami would say 'desire is the energy that fuels life, SUBARASHI' or something along those lines."

"PRECISELY!" A loud boisterous voice called out as the living room's screen door was pulled aside, its suddenness catching everyone gathered by surprise.

Turning their heads, the three Servants and the Tohsaka sisters were met by the sight of Kougami standing in the doorway with Satonaka right behind him, the dark haired woman carrying a cake box.

Both Rin and Sakura were shocked to see the man clad in one of his many brightly coloured suits meanwhile Saber, Archer and Rider were left baffled as to how the Kougami Foundation President had managed to gain access to the property while evading detection.

"Jeez, you scared the heck out of me." Rin growled as she glared at Kougami. "You couldn't have at least knocked first so we'd know you were coming?"

"That's an astute insight Archer-kun." Kougami said as he and his personal assistant entered the room. "Emiya Shirou-kun's lack of any genuine desire is the exact reason he's the ideal vessel for the Core Medals."

"Your…you're saying that Shirou's lack of any true desire is what makes him so effective as OOO?" Saber said, fixing the loud man with a questioning look.

"Exactly. That's the whole reason he can use them again and again without losing control of himself." Kougami replied, "However, circumstances have changed. That is my reason for coming here, to inform you all of this personally."

Stepping forward, Satonaka placed the box she was carrying on the table that dominated the center of the room, removing the lid to reveal the birthday cake her boss had made, topped with white icing and decorated with purple around the edge upon it, the words happy birthday written on it along with a pair of purple dinosaur heads.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Kougami proclaimed, "Today we celebrate the Greeed born from the purple Medals and the Yummies that it spawns."

Rin, Archer, Saber, Sakura and Rider stared at the baked confection that Satonska had revealed, all of them filled with a sense of unease as they processed what Kougami had just told them.

"A…a purple Greeed…" Rin muttered, not even trying to hide her apprehension.

A new Greeed, that was seriously bad news. Uva, Kazari, Gamel, Mizool, and even Lost Ankh had been hard enough to deal with, especially now that Kazari and Lost Ankh had teamed up with Maki. Throw a new one into the mix, one that could produce Yummies like the ones they'd encountered today, things were looking rather bleak.

"Medals bearing the images of creatures long extinct, ones that only exist in modern times in imagination and fantasy. Their desire? Emptiness…nothing..." Kougami continued. "On the other hand, a boy, one with a void inside of him. It is that void that exists inside Emiya Shirou-kun that attracted those Medals to him, once they've taken root in that void, they severely increase the likelihood of OOO rampaging."

"No, Shirou…" Saber said to herself, a fearful look on her face.

Meanwhile, out in the shed that served as his workshop, Shirou was absent mindedly messing around with the various pieces of junk that he had stored there.

"Trace…on…" Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath he channelled his Prana through it, a detailed image of its form and structure taking form in his mind's eye down to the smallest detail.

As he tried to focus solely on that highly detailed image it was interrupted by flashes of memory from earlier that day, images of the Yummies that he'd fought and the damage that they'd caused. Watching as all those people were consumed by the dark mist that they spewed, helpless to anything to stop it.

All of a sudden the piece of junk was holding cracked and broke apart, groaning in frustration Shirou tossed it aside before burying his head in his hands, stewing in his feelings of frustration. What was he supposed to do now?

Even with his ability to become OOO and Saber, Rider and everyone working with him, he'd been powerless to do anything against those Yummies, unable to do anything but watch as all those people were consumed and vanished just like what happened on the night of the fire.

Damnit, even after all this time, had nothing changed? Was he still powerless to help anyone?

Just then the door to the shed being opened was heard, glancing over he caught sight of Ankh standing in the doorway, the bird Greeed. "Ankh…" Shirou muttered.

"Figured I'd find you out here." Ankh said as he stepped inside, walking over to the staircase that led to the second level and seated himself upon it. "The house is pretty busy right now, funnily enough you're the hot topic of discussion, turns out you're all kinds of messed up. Certainly news to me."

"I guess…" Shirou replied, looking back at the random piece of scrap metal he was holding. "Not like it really matters right now. No point dwelling on the past, especially since we've got bigger problems right now."

Pausing, Shirou turned his gaze towards the broken pieces of the piece of scrap that he'd been working with, it now broken beyond repair.

"Ankh, those Yummy we encountered today, one of them said something." He said to the possessed body of Matou Shinji. "Core Medals are desire and they have the power to nullify desire. That's going to be a problem, isn't it?"

"Yeah." Ankh replied, "Well, whatever. Just make sure you don't get hit next time."

"Hmmm, I suppose that's really all I can do." Shirou said, absentmindedly taking another piece of scrap metal from his box of scraps and pretended to examine it.

"Speaking of Core Medals, those purple ones." Ankh said, sounding serious. "You do realise that those Medals are inside you, right Shirou?

"Yeah, pretty much…" Shirou replied, placing a hand on his chest. "Well, it can't be helped. It doesn't change anything. Helping people in trouble, that's what matters, right."

Ankh shook his head at this. "Heh, I guess being an idiot must count for something." He scoffed.

"Is that supposed to be a compliment?" Shirou asked.

"What do you think?" Ankh replied as he got up and headed up to the shed's second level.

Watching him for a few moments, Shirou tossed the piece of scrap back into the box before lying down on the floor, taking a moment to try and get comfortable before resting his head on his bent arm. Ankh watching him from above.

"You going to be heading back inside anytime soon?" He asked the rust haired teen that lay on the cold ground.

"Nah, don't feel like it." Shirou replied as he closed his eyes, before long he managed to drop off to sleep.

As with most nights Shirou's dreams were plagued by visions of what he'd witnessed on the night of the Fuyuki Fire. Even here he could feel the heat of the flames searing at his skin, the smell of burning material assaulting his senses as he was forced to breath in the noxious air and of course the noise, the wails of all who were caught up in them, crying out for help and salvation only to receive neither.

However tonight something was different, standing amongst the hellish flames were the two Pteranodon themed Yummies, both of them seeming to be revelling in the destruction and misery that was going on around them.
A loud screech echoed through Shirou's mind, forcing him from his restless slumber back into the waking world, unbeknownst to him his eyes momentarily glowed purple before returning to their usual hue.

Looking over towards Ankh he saw that the bird Greeed was looking towards the open door. "Those Yummy, their back." He said, "Shirou, let's go."

Exiting the shed, both Shirou and Ankh were in such a hurry that neither of them noticed Rider standing upon the shed's roof, the lavender haired Rider Servant silently watching them before she shifted into spirit form and vanished from view. Inside the house Sakura stared up at the ceiling of the room that she and Rin were staying in, a look of anxiousness on her face.

Despite having gone to bed at a reasonable hour she in no way felt rested, her thoughts filled with her Senpai along with everything both Archer and Kougami had informed them of the previous evening.

She'd checked on her Senpai's room before retiring for the evening, finding it empty, meaning that he was most likely sequestered out in that shed of his, she'd lost count of the number of times she'd gone out to find him in there.

What should she do? Shirou, her beloved Senpai, was suffering. He'd been suffering for a long time and she hadn't even noticed, hadn't wanted to notice. In her heart she yearned to help her Senpai, to be the one who he'd find comfort in.

But, as things currently stood, she wasn't sure if she could even face him right now.

Knowing that she'd be no more rested than she was now, Sakura rose from her futon, deciding to make a start on her daily routine. Taking a moment to make sure she hadn't disturbed Rin who lay next to her, the dark haired teen lay motionless wrapped in her blankets, before being as quiet as she could headed over to the sliding door and exited the room.

Doing her best not to disturb the other residents of the house, Sakura made her way through the halls of the traditional Japanese house, bathed in the early morning light that filtered in through the windows, headed towards the bathroom to freshen up for the day ahead.

Just as she was about to reach in when a noise from outside caught her attention, looking through the window she was met by the sight of both Senpai and Ankh running away from the shed before they disappeared around the side of the house.

"S…Senpai…" She muttered to herself as she watched as the rust haired boy and Ankh vanished from view, something somewhere was very wrong.

Before long both Shirou and Ankh found themselves at the Mount Miyama shopping district, even at this hour the area would normally be bustling with activity as people would move from store to store, looking for good deals on their groceries, the two of them instead finding the whole area deserted.

The only souls seemingly present in the whole area were themselves and, standing a short distance away from them, were the two Yummies that they'd encountered the day before.

Shirou could feel his heart racing painfully against his chest as a rising panic began to build within him and he took in the sight of the sight around him, the whole area unnaturally quiet. Again, again he was too late to save anyone.

"Shirou, get it together." Ankh ordered the rust haired teen, the sound of his voice snapping Shirou out of his panicked state, as he held up the familiar trio of Core Medals. "Just remember, don't get hit by these guys."

"R…Right…" Shirou replied, producing the OOO Driver and attaching it to his waist before taking the Medals from Ankh and inserting them into the appropriate slots. That done he grabbed the OOO Scanner and swiped it across the front of the belt. "Henshin…"

TAKA! TORA! BATTA! TA-TO-BA TATOBA TO-TO-BA!

The duo of rings consisting of nine medals each surrounded Shirou, three of them forming the familiar emblem consisting of Hawk, Tiger and Grasshopper before slamming into his chest creating from which the OOO armor spread out and appeared on Shirou's body.

Now donned in his Rider armor, OOO charged forward towards the two Pteranodon Yummies, as he did so the tiger section of the emblem on his chest flashing before the three claws on both of his arms folded themselves over.

As the multicoloured Rider moved in to engage both prehistoric creature Yummies, both Saber and Sakura arrived, the two of them watching on as OOO attempted to slash at the duo with his claws only for both of them to evade his attempt.

"Wha…what?" Sakura muttered, horrified at how deserted the normally bustling area was. "Did…did those monster's do this…?"

Having been absent for the encounter with the pair of Kaijin the day before, Sakura had only heard the accounts of the damage that the two Pteranodon Yummies had caused, so seeing the normally bustling area so deserted was a real shock to her system.

"Sakura, I request that you stay back," Saber instructed the purple haired teen, "These creatures, what they can do, it is best that you stay out of their reach."

Hearing Saber say this only resulted in more self loathing for Sakura, while she knew full well that Saber was better suited to assist Shirou in battle, it also proved to remind her of just how little use she was. She could not aid her Senpai in battle, nor could she even be the one he could find comfort in.

Why, why did she have to be so useless?

Just then both Rin and Archer arrived on the scene, their arrival catching the attention of both Saber and Sakura, both Master and Servant focusing on OOO's efforts to combat the two Kaijin that had given them all so much trouble the day before.

"Damn, those things again…" Rin scowled, narrowing her gaze before she addressed the tanned skinned man at her side, "Archer, I'm counting on you to defeat them this time."

"Heh, well far be it from me to disobey an order from my Master." Archer replied offhandedly before producing both the Birth Driver in one hand and a single Cell Medal in the other.

Just as he was about to secure the belt to himself, a white and blue streak shot over towards him before Saber snatched both items from him before dashing off again, the former king of England wrapping the strap of the Birth Driver around her waist before inserting the Cell Medal into the devises medal slot. and took hold of the knob that was attached to the device's side.

"Henshin…" Saber declared, grabbing the knob attached to the device's side and twisted it several times.

CRANK!
CRANK!
POP!

As she ran forward, multiple capsules of various sizes surrounded Saber, attaching themselves to the King of Knight's body creating armor of Kamen Rider Birth.

Once she was close enough, Birth moved into the male Yummy, leaving OOO to deal with the female Kaijin. "Shirou, I am here to assist you." Birth told OOO as she attempted to land a punch on her opponent who stepped back out of the way of it.

"Saber!" OOO replied, looking over in Birth's direction.

"Shirou, we should dispatch these creatures quickly before they can cause any further harm." Birth told the multicoloured Rider, "Also, once we are done here, there is a matter of great importance that we must discuss."

"R…right…" OOO replied, producing the Medajalibur before tossing it over to Birth who caught it, the black, grey and green Gashapon Rider nodding her head in appreciation before turning her attention back towards the male Pteranodon Yummy.

Now armed with the sword that OOO had lent her, Birth moved to engage her opponent once again, gripping the hilt of the Medajalibur she swung it at the ancient reptile in an attempt to cut it down.

Noticing this the male Pteranodon Yummy quickly took to the air, narrowly avoiding the tip of the Gashapon themed Rider's sword, rising high above the rooftops of the deserted shopping district.

"Accursed creature," Birth said harshly as she glared up at her opponent, "I shall see to it that you and your cohort will cause no further harm to this city or its inhabitants."

"You are overflowing with desire, so much so that I taste it radiating off of you." The Yummy replied, unphased by Birth's tone, "All shall become nothingness, starting with you…"

No sooner had he said these words he unleashed a large torrent of black swirling mist in Birth's direction, the same kind that he and his companion had used on the townsfolk before OOO and Ankh's arrival.

Seeing the dark mass barrelling towards her, and not wanting to get caught up in it, Birth acted quickly, leaping upwards and flipping back out of the way of it. As she hung in midair the sound of a high pitched shriek caught the former King of England's and looking over was met by the sight of the male Pteranodon Yummy swooping in towards her.

Unable to react in time, the dark purple Kaijin grabbed a hold of Birth before ascending high up into the air.

Meanwhile OOO had his hands full as he engaged the female, swiping at her with his Tora Claws, each attempt she blocked with one of her wingened arms. "You, something about you seems to be calling to me." She said, a note of curiosity in her tone. "There's something inside you, a power not dissimilar to my own…"

Hearing this left OOO stunned, what did she mean by a power inside of him that was similar to her own?

Seeing her opponent's moment of hesitation, the Pteranodon Yummy pushed OOO off of her before striking him in the chest, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Barely had OOO pushed himself into a sitting position when Birth suddenly fell down from above and crashed next to him, a pain filled grunt escaping from her as she hit the ground.

"Saber!" OOO cried out, quickly going to check on his Servant as they slowly sat up. "Saber, are you alright?"

At the same time the male of the Yummy duo alighted next to his companion, both of them staring at the Master and Servant duo.

"You pitiful," The female Yummy said to her companion. "Even with all their desires, nothing in this age can stand against us."

"All shall return to nothingness." Her companion replied, "Starting with these two…"

As he said those, both Yummy began generating a large mass of flames in one of their hands, ready to finish both OOO and Birth off.

Before they could unleash the mass of fiery death at the pair, all of a sudden the sound of a crying child caught the attention of both Riders along with the Yummy duo, turning to look in its direction both groups spotted a child that had managed to escape the notice of the two Yummies, hiding behind a gashapon machine.

"Huh, seems we missed one," The male Yummy said in a casual manner. "A mistake that can easily be rectified."

Hearing this OOO was quickly on the move, seemingly forgetting all about the pair of Yummies as he ran towards the lone child.

For a moment the chimera Rider was transported back to the night of the Fuyuki Fire and instead of the crying girl there was a younger version of himself, scared and alone, unable to do anything but cry as he pushed on forward, uncertain if he'd get to live or succumb to the same grizzly fate was those unfortunate souls that he's walked passed, desperately trying to block out their screams and cries for help.

He had survived, Kiritsugu had saved him, seeing the man's smile and tears of joy had left the half dead child in a state of awe. 'One person…please, just let me save somebody, even if it's one person…'

In the blink of an eye, OOO was shunted back to the present, dropping down onto one knee in front of the crying girl, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Hey, are you hurt?" He asked, the girl looking up at him with her bleary watering eyes, "It ok, it'll be all ok, i promise that it will be ok."

"Sen…Senpai…" Sakura muttered as she watched as OOO interacted with the small girl, no doubt doing his best to reassure her. Because that's what he did, her Senpai was a brave and kind hearted hero, or at least that's what she used to believe.

That was until last night based on what both Archer and Kougami had revealed. Senpai put the happiness and wellbeing of others ahead of his own because he saw his own existence as worthless.

Senpai always put other people ahead of himself, stretching out his hand as far as he could reach to help someone in need. But who was there to help him? When he reached out, who was there to offer their hand back to him?

As he did his best to reassure the distraught girl, the sound of hurried footsteps approaching him caught OOO's attention, looked over to see Rin running towards him. "Emiya, give her to me," She instructed him, "I'll take care of her."

Nodding in response, OOO shepherded the crying girl towards the ebony haired heiress who scooped her up into her arms, whispering words of reassurance to her in an effort to comfort her as before she turned and carried her away.

Watching as the ebony haired girl attempted to flee, the female Yummies fired a blast of purple lightning at the fleeing duo.

"TOHSAKA!" OOO cried out, moving quickly he stepped in to shield Rin and her charge, blocking the Yummies attack with his own body, the OOO armor disintegrating off of his body as the three Core's were ejected from the OOO Driver.

"You humans, so easily swayed by your desires," The female Yummy said as she approached Shirou, seizing him by the collar and pulling him closer towards her. "Those desires will only lead you to your own demise…"

No sooner had she said these words the Yummy struck Shirou across the face, the force of the blow knocking him off of his feet and flying backwards, the rust haired teen slamming into the gashapon machine that the crying child had attempted to hide behind, knocking it to the ground and spilling its contents across the ground.

"Shirou!" Birth cried out as her Master sprawled out across the ground, looking away from the Yummy that she was engaged with.

Seeing the Gashapon Rider was momentarily distracted, the male Pertradon unleashed a high pitched sonic cry at Birth, the force of the sonic wave striking her knocking her off of her feet, the armor vanishing as Saber was knocked to the ground.

"You'd do well to remember that your opponent is me. " the Yummy said as he approached the fallen Servant, the same purple electricity his partner had used crackling across his hands as he approached Saber.

As he did so a faint buzzing sound caught both the Yummy and Saber's attention, the purple Kaijin stopping in his tracks and tilting his head to one side before quickly leaning backwards, narrowly avoiding a pair of spinning blades that sliced the air where he'd been mere seconds before.

Falling back slightly, the Pteranodon Yummy narrowed his gaze as the spinning blades changed direction suddenly and flew towards him, unleashing a cloud of void like mist at the pair of swords, erasing them from existence.

In the blink of an eye, Archer suddenly appeared in front of Saber, conjuring a fresh set of swords as he stared down the Pteranodon Yummy. "A…Archer…" The King of Knights exclaimed, surprised as it seemed the Servant of the Bow before her had opted to not engage after she'd taken the Birth Driver from him.

"Saber, are you alright?" Archer replied, his attention fixed upon the Kaijin in front of him. "Letting yourself get distracted by Emiya Shirou's predicament was a serious error on your part. Against an opponent like this, such a mistake can be costly."

"You need not inform me of such a thing Archer," Saber retorted, shooting the tanned skinned man a stern look as she pushed herself up off the ground and back to her feet, her combat dress and armor appearing on her body along with her sword in her hand.

While this was playing out, the female Yummy was staring at Shirou as he struggled back up to his feet.

"So weak, your desires have only led you to your death…" The Yummy said, conjuring a mass of burning energy in her hand that she launched towards Shirou.

As the mass of flames flew towards him, all of a sudden three glowing purple disks emerged from his chest and began swarming around him, intercepting the Yummies attack before inserting themselves into the OOO Driver, the device twisting itself to the side.

His face sporting a blank expression, Shirou's eyes flashed purple and a loud screeching cry emanated from him as OOO Scanner suddenly detached itself from the side of the belt as if by some invisible force and scanned the Medals inserted into the Driver.

PTERA! TRICERA! TYRANNO! (Screech) PU-TO-TYRANNOSAURUS!

From these three medals a new form of OOO was created, his usual black undersuit instead white with purple line detailing. A purple helmet with a pair of green segmented lenes, sporting a head crest and a set of wing like fins covered his head. Both shoulders covered in a shoulder pad that had a golden horn protruding from them while the emblem that adorned his chest sporting the images of the three extinct creatures that were emblazoned on the Medals, a pair of purple hip guards were attached to either side of his belt while armored foot coverings adorned his legs and feet that resembled reptilian clawed feet.

For a moment everyone one else looked upon the new form of OOO that stood before them. Saber, Rin and Sakura sharing a look on their faces that was equal parts dumbfounded as well as while both Archer and Ankh were overcome by a sense of unease.

"A new OOO…" Rin muttered, stunned by what she was seeing. Her sense of shock quickly turned to uneasiness as she remembered what Kougami had told them the previous evening.

A spectral pair of wings sprouted from OOO's back along with a tail attached to his rear appearing momentarily as a layer of ice appeared at his feet, spreading outwards and ensnared the female Yummy, freezing her in place.

This new OOO let out a high pitched cry, the sheer force of it shattering the ice that covered the ground along with the layer encasing the trapped Yummy, sending them sprawling to the ground.

"That power..." The female Yummy said as she rose up into a sitting position, her male counterpart appearing at her side.

"This power is similar to ours." He added as his partner got back up to her feet.

"Even so, this one is still an enemy!" The female Yummy stated before she then rushed OOO, her partner following close behind.

As both Yummies charged at him the wings on OOO's helmet suddenly grew in size as well as becoming more flexible in appearance, rearing the selves back the wings protruding from OOO's helmet came together in a powerful flap, the force behind the beat of his wings knocking both Yummies off of their feet.

Realizing that they stood no chance against the purple berserker, both Yummies retreated, taking to the air in an effort to escape from OOO, the purple Dinosaur Rider letting out a growl before spreading his wings and took to the air in pursuit of them.

In the skies above the battle between OOO and the two Yummies continued, the purple Dinosaur Rider ramming into them several times in an attempt to knock the two of them out of the air.

The bottom section of OOO's chest emblem, sporting the Tyrannosaurus head, flashed and the twin hip guards attached to the side of OOO's belt vanished before reappearing behind him, both of them merging together to form a long reptilian tail.

Lashing out with his new appendage he struck first at the female Yummy with a vicious tail swipe before quickly following it up with a second against her male counterpart, knocking both Yummies out of the air and sending them crashing into the ground below.

No sooner had his feet touched the ground, OOO grabbed a hold of the OOO Scanner off of the side of his belt and swiped it across the front of his OOO Driver.

SCANNING CHARGE!

The Triceratops section of OOO's chest emblem flashed and the golden horns protruding from his shoulder armor extended themselves, skewering the female Yummy to restrain her, before unleashing a blast of icy cold air at her, trapping them helplessly inside a prison of ice.

His prey now helpless, OOO turned around and lashed out with his long purple tail, shattering the ice and destroying the female Pteranodon Yummy in the process. A single Cell Medal clattering across the ground.

Seeing his partner's destruction, the other Yummy backs away out of terror, prepared to flap its wings and escape. Seeing him try to escape, OOO aimed a punch at the ground beneath him, his hand punching through it with ease, retracting his hand he pulled forth a large axe weapon, its … shaped like T-Rex skull with the blade protruding from between its jaws.

Picking up the loan Medal left behind from the first Yummie's death, OOO inserted it into a Medal Slot located on the blade of the axe before grabbing a lever protruding from the back and pulled on it, the mouth of the skull closing up as it swallowed the Medal.

GOKKUN!

Flipping the axe around, OOO twisted part of its handle downwards, reshaping the weapon into a cannon-like configuration as he took aim at the remaining Yummy and pressed down a button-like trigger located on the handle.

PUTOTYRANNO HISSATSU!

A large amount of dark crackling energy began emanating from the barrel of the axe cannon before being fired at the remaining Yummy, the shot vaporizing him almost instantaneously, the only trace of the Kaijin remaining was a single Cell Medal that clattered to the ground.

With the battle now over and the two Yummies dealt with, still the sense of dread had not subsided as everyone gathered looked upon OOO, all of them shocked how brutal he had been in his efforts to defeat the duo of Yummies.

Alexis and the others watch in fear looking at this dangerous new Jaden. She feels weak in the knees too, heart beating faster; how could the kind Jaden turn into a beast like this?

Taking a deep breath, Saber approached OOO, the Dinosaur Rider's back turned towards her as he stated upon the spot where the second Yummy had been before being destroyed.

"Shirou, the battle is over," She said, reaching out to place a hand on his shoulder. "Are you well?"

Hearing his Servant address him, OOO glanced over in Saber's direction, letting out a low sounding snarling as he did, before, to everyone's surprise, he lashed out and clocked Saber in the face with his fist, the force of his punch causing her to stumble back a few steps.

Saber exclaimed, gingerly touching the tips of her fingers against where she'd been struck. "That…that actually hurt!"

A loud bestial cry filled the air as OOO charged at the still stupefied Saber, aiming the Medagabryu at her in an attempt to cut her down.

Recovering her wits, Saber barely had time to back up out of the way of OOO swing, the blade of the axe slicing the spot that she'd been standing in mere moments before. Still snarling, OOO kept up his assault, slashing at her again and again, Saber managing to dodge out of the way each time, all the while sounding like an enraged animal.

"Those sounds," Rin said, her voice shaking slightly, "Emiya, he sounds like Berserker right now…"

Avoiding another swing of the enraged Rider's axe, Saber raised her sword, a loud clang ringing out as the blade of the Medagabryu collided with the blade of her sword.

"Shirou, please, heed my words, you are not in your right state of mind right now." Saber told the purple Dinosaur Rider, "This isn't you, those Medals, their influence is what's making you act like this. Come back to us Shirou, you don't need this power anymore."

Glaring at her, the green lenses of OOO helmet flashed, throwing his full weight behind his weapon, he pushed Saber backwards, throwing her off balance.

With a snarl OOO slashed his at her with his axe once again, the blade severing her arm in a single swing.

Catching herself, Saber glanced over to the spot where her severed arm lay, her sword still clutched in her hand.

Seeing that Saber was distracted, OOO pounced, knocking Saber to the ground where he delivered blow after vicious blow to her, the force of each one creating cracks to appear on the ground beneath her.

Before she could react to defend herself, OOO deliver another brutal punch to the bloodied Servant beneath him, OOO's onslaught was suddenly halted when a pair of swords struck him in the back, turning away from the bloody mess he'd reduced Saber to, the enraged Rider looked over to see Archer standing a short distance away, a fresh set of Kanshou and Byakuya appearing in his hands.

Letting out a feral looking snarl, the green lenses of OOO's helmet flashed once again before the Pteranodon wing shaped fins attached to his helmet grew in size once again, taking to the air and charging at Archer, his Medagabryu at the ready.

Bracing himself, Archer raised both of his swords to defend himself as OOO swung his axe at him, the blade of the Medagabryu shattered both Kanshou and Byakuya as it if they were made of glass.

Shocked by this, Archer barely managed to react in time, falling back and away from OOO, narrowly escaping the same fate as Saber. Growling, OOO continued to advance towards the tanned skinned Servant of the Bow who quickly conjured a new set of swords.

'This…this is all wrong, there's no way Emiya Shirou should be able to match a Servant in battle, not under his own power, so how…how is he able to now…?' Archer frowned as he narrowly avoided OOO as he attempted to swing his axe at him, 'Those purple Medals, are they the reason that he's able to do it?'

Again OOO attempted to slash at Archer with his axe and again Archer attempted to block the attempt with a new set of conjured swords, both weapons colliding with one another, the doa blades once again shattering instantly.

Falling back, Archer had a frown etched deeply into his face as he considered the situation, clearly Kanshou and Byakuya weren't going to cut it. What about another of the swords that he had stored inside of his Reality Marble? Excalibur, Durandal, Hrunting, would any of those fare any better?

Glaring at the enraged OOO as he readied another attempt to engage him, Archer's eyes shifted to the Medababryu in the berserk Rider's hand. Would it work? He'd never tried tracing an axe before, it had a blade so theoretically it should work.

'Guess I've got no other choice but to try…' Archer frowned as he heard a low sounding snarl coming from OOO. "■■■■■ ■■…"

All of a sudden Archer's mind exploded in near maddening agony, it felt as if it were about to collapse in on itself.

For a split second Archer swore he saw the vague image of a figure standing before him. Its body covered in black scales, a belt with a yellow gem in its centre wrapped around its waist, both their shoulders clad in a bulky shoulder pad with a red fin attached with the centre of its chest sported a triceratops head. Its head shapes vaguely like a T-Rex skull, a single pinkish eye contained within its jaws located in the centre of its head.

As Archer stumbled about, clutching his head, the horn's attached to OOO's shoulder pads shot forward, impaling themselves through the tanned skinned Servant's shoulders, the stabbing pain in his shoulders snapping Archer out of his pain induced stupor, a trickle of blood flowing from his mouth as he gritted his teeth.

Retracting his horns, the wings on OOO's helmet once again unfurled themselves, growing in size and flexibility, pulling them back as he prepared to unleash a powerful blast of ice cold wind that would ensnare Archer in ice much as he had done to the female Pteranodon Yummy.

"Senpai," Sakura cried out as she ran towards OOO, placing herself in front of the enraged Rider, "Senpai please stop!"

"Sakura!" Rin exclaimed, shocked to see the younger teen standing in front of the berserk Rider.

"Senpai, Senpai I'm sorry." Sakura pleaded, "I'm so sorry for not understanding, not understanding the pain that you were in."

Dropping to her knees, Sakura wrapped her arms around OOO's waist. "I promise, from now on I'll be the one who offers their hand to you, I'll do whatever I can to help ease your burdens." She continued, practically sobbing, "Just please, please come back to us."

For a moment all still, that was until a snarl was heard coming from OOO before he grabbed a hold of Sakura's and pulled her off of him and callously tossed her aside, seemingly unphased by her words, his snarl becoming louder until it morphed into a bestial sounding cry.

Turning to where Sakura had landed, OOO glared at the purple haired teen and, letting out another roar as he approached her, the purple Dinosaur Rider aimed the Medagabryu at Sakura, his intention to cut her down without a second thought, only for the blade of the axe to embed itself in the ground where she'd been mere seconds before.

Sakura To her surprise Sakura found Ankh's arm wrapped around her by the arm, the bird Greeed having pulled away at the last possible second, his single wing extending from his back and carrying the two of them up into the air.

"A…Ankh…!" Sakura exclaimed, overwhelmed by the past few seconds.

"Shit, it's just like Kougami said," Ankh muttered, a bead of nervous sweat rolling down her face as he and Sakura rose higher into the air, "Shirou, he's rampaging…"

Snarling, OOO was about to chase after the pair when a chain emerged from seemingly nowhere, wrapping itself around the arm in which OOO clutched his Medababryu, preventing him from swinging it.

Finding Rider standing there, using every last ounce of her strength to hold back OOO's swing. Glaring at the lavender haired Servant, OOO grabbed a hold of the chain wrapped around his wrist, pulling Rider towards him.

Feeling herself being pulled forward, Rider leaped up into the air, soaring up and over OOO head, twisting in mid air before landing on the other side of him.

Turning around quickly, OOO again glared at Rider, the green lenses of his helmet glowing momentarily before he then ran at her, his Medagabryu raised. Behind her blindfold, Rider's eyes narrowed before she too charged forward to the advancing OOO, narrowly avoiding his attempt to swing his weapon at her by dropping down and skidding across the ground, reaching out in front of her and grabbed a hold of the OOO Driver twisting it back into its horizontal position.

His Driver twisted back into place OOO let out a guttural sound gasp before he stumbled back a few steps, dropping the Medagabryu, the T-Rex head shaped axe sinking into the ground, before the armor on his body disintegrated, leaving a highly disorientated Shirou behind.

"R…Rider…" He managed to say as he panted heavily, all of a sudden his face shifted into a look of wide eyed horror as the realisation of what he'd almost done sank in. "Oh…oh God…no, Saber…Sakura…I…I."

Before he could even finish his words his head began spinning and his vision became unfocused before inky blackness consumed him. His legs unable to support him anymore, Shirou collapsed towards the ground only to be caught by Rider, the lavender haired Servant catching him in her arms.

'Emiya Shirou, I swear, I will not allow you to become a monster like me,' Rider thought to herself as she cradled the unconscious boy in her arms, 'And, if you ever do, I will become one just so you aren't alone…'

AN And with that another chapter is fini. Happy Halloween everyone, sorry for the radio silence, I swear that it wasn't intentional. Earlier in the month my late grandmothers house was finally sold off meaning it had to be cleared of the remaining furniture and and items and unfortunately the space that everything got stored in is also serves as work space. Even now the area is still a mess but,

Well whateve's, hopefully I'll now be able to get back to work.

To celebrate Halloween next week, we've returned to Kamen Rider OOO following up pretty much left off on the last chapter with Shirou acquiring the purple Medals. When it came to blending OOO in with Fate, the inclusion of the purple Medals were always going to be the hardest element of OOO to implement into a Fate story. Unlike Eiji, who spends most of OOO without any desire of his due to the events he experienced while in Africa, the purple medals shouldn't be attracted to Shirou due to his desires to become a Hero of Justice. So the solution I came up with was that, while Shirou has desires they're not genuine because their not his, rather he just latched onto Kiritsugu's to justify his existence.

Whatever the case OOO's strongest form, Putotyra Combo, is here and like you saw it is pretty strong, wiping the floor with not only the 2 Pteranodon Yummies that had given them trouble as well both Saber and Archer. As to how OOO could defeat 2 Servants its because the purple medals nullify desires, hence why they're the only thing that can shatter the other Core Medals and actually kill a Greeed. How dose this apply to Servant you might ask, well what is a Heroic Spirit if not a being of desire?

I think that covers most of what I want to say abou the events of this chapter itself and so moving over to other Toku related stuff quite a lot has happened in regards to both Gavv and Boonboomger since the laste update. First on Gavv, Hanto has officially debuted as Kamen Rider Valen and damn if his first henshin and fight didn't hit hard, probably the hardest hitting we've had in a while. His mentor/father figure is killed off, undergoes questionable surgery to get a Granute organ implanted in him by the shady as heck Suga and he's barely out of it when he goes to hunt down the Granute that killed his mentor.

Right now Shouma and Hanto are unaware of each other's true identities, not just who the other is but also both Gavv and Valen convinced that the other is a surgically modified Granute/human like themselves and that's not even getting into Sachika who's associated with both Shouma and Hanto and is unaware of both of them being Kamen Rider's. You can just tell its all going to blow up when they all find out the truth, especially given the the existence of Dente Stomach who Shouma is hiding right now.

Also the V-cinema for Gotchard, Gotchad Graduation, as well a spin off featuring Lachesis that take place prior to the events of Gotchard were announced recently and are set for release next year.

Meanwhile on Boonboomger there's been quite a bit happening. First Genba's sad boi arc looks to have been resolved thanks to some words of motivation from both Mad Rex and Akira in the prior episodes and is back with the team. And of course there was the big reveal that we got in the last episode where we learned that, after being disqualified from the BBG, Boonboom was a member of the Hashiriyans for a while prior to arriving on Earth and being found by Taiya, something that really upset Byoondario. Speaking of the Hashiriyans, their leader, Waruido Spindo, made his physical debut which can only mean he's more then likely coming to Earth soon after Disrace seemingly gets killed off in the upcoming episode.

Anyway, I think this is a good place to call it for now. As always it would be greatly applicated if you'd take the time and drop a review and let me know me know your thoughts of this instalment as feedback is always welcome. Currently in the works are new chapters for Build, Zi-O and Saber and If your celebrating Halloween, I hope you all enjoy yourselves. I'll see you all for the next chapter which hopefully won't get delayed again.

So until next time, peace out y'all.
