Cerulean City
After traveling through Route 4, Ash & Brock arrived in Cerulean City. They immediately headed to the Gym. Upon entering, they saw 3 ladies talking with one another. The first girl has long wavy blonde hair with a flower pin on the right side & green eyes, wearing a red swimming dress. The second girl has long wavy indigo hair with red beads & brown eyes, wearing a green swimming dress. And the 3rd has chest length pink hair & blue eyes, wearing an orange swimming dress with small red ribbons at the bottom.
"Um, excuse me?" Ash said, politely.
"Hello there, I assume you're here for a gym battle," the blonde said.
"Yes," Ash nodded.
"Right this way. I'm Daisy & these are my sisters Violet & Lily," Daisy introduced.
"I'm Ashley & this is Pikachu," Ash said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu greeted.
The sisters led Ash & Brock to the battlefield.
"Misty, you got a challenger," Lily called out.
"Coming," a female voice said.
Out of a nearby door was a teen girl with short orange hair & green eyes, wearing a white & blue one piece swimsuit & a white jacket.
"Hi Misty," Brock greeted.
"Hi Brock," Misty greeted back before she turned to Ash. "I guess you're my challenger."
"That's me. I'm Ashley," Ash said.
"I'm Misty, the youngest of the Cerulean Sisters," Misty said
Ash & Misty went into battle position on the battlefield.
"The Gym Battle between Ashley the Challenger & Misty the Cerulean Gym Leader will now begin. This will be a 3-on-3 battle & it will be over when either's side Pokémon are unable to continue. Only the challenge can substitute Pokémon," Violet announced.
"Go Goldeen!" Misty said as she sent out a white fish-like Pokémon with orange markings.
"Goldeen," the Pokémon appeared as Ash pulled out her Rotom Phone
Goldeen, the Goldfish Pokémon. A Water Type. Goldeen is a very beautiful Pokémon with fins that bellow elegantly in the water. However, don't let your guard down around this Pokémon-it could ram you powerfully with its horn.
"Magikarp, I choose you!" Ash said as she sent out Magikarp.
"Karp," Magikarp appeared.
Suddenly, Elaine appeared in the Gym & sat next to Brock.
"Oh hello," Brock said. "Are you here to challenge Misty?"
"Not really. I saw you & Ash came here & I wanted to watch her Gym Battle," Elaine said. "I'm Elaine & I'm from Pallet Town just like Ash."
"I'm Brock, nice to meet you," Brock said as the two shook hands.
"Battle Begin!" Violet announced.
"Horn Attack," Misty ordered.
Goldeen's horn glowed white & charged towards Magikarp.
"Dodge & Tackle," Ash countered.
Magikarp swiftly dodged Goldeen's horn before he tackled Golden hard.
"Two can play that game, Goldeen Tackle," Misty said.
Goldeen & Magikarp tackled each other repeatedly.
"Ice Beam." Goldeen fired light blue beams of ice from its mouth.
"Hydro Pump." Magikarp fired a powerful stream of water from his mouth which collided with Ice Beam.
"A Magikarp that knows Hydro Pump. Impressive," Misty compliments.
"Thank you. He's a special one," Ash smiled.
"Magikarp," Magikarp smiled.
"Goldeen Blizzard." Goldeen fired a powerful blizzard from its mouth.
"Karp," Magikarp shivered a bit.
"Magikarp Bounce." Magikarp jumped into the air, escaping the attack before landing in the water & made a huge splash which caused water droplets to pour down.
"Goldeen use Mega Horn." Goldeen's horn glowed green & charged at Magikarp.
"Karp!" Magikarp said as he swiftly dodged the attack.
"What?" Misty gasped.
"Magikarp use Flail," Ash said.
"Karp! Karp! Karp! Karp! Karp!" Magikarp said as he flailed & repeatedly hit Goldeen with his tail before sending Goldeen back.
"Are you okay?" Misty asked.
"Goldeen," Goldeen nodded.
"Let's slow them down. Use Supersonic." Goldeen released supersonic waves from its mouth which caused Magikarp to become confused & repeatedly rammed himself on the side of the pool.
"That's gotta hurt," Brock said as he & Elaine winced.
"Magikarp, snap out of it," Ash called out.
"Now Goldeen Mega Horn." Goldeen used Mega Horn, hitting Magikarp & causing him to slam into the side again.
As a result, the impact helped him snap out of it.
"Thanks for that. Now Magikarp Tackle." Growling, Magikarp tackled Goldeen hard.
"Goldeen Peck." Goldeen's horn glowed light blue & charged at Magikarp.
"Tackle again." Magikarp clashed with Goldeen.
Upon impact, both Pokémon fainted.
"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, it's a draw," Violet announced.
"You were great Magikarp," Ash praised as she & Misty recalled their Pokémon.
"Go Seel!" Misty sent out a white seal pup-like Pokémon with a small horn on its forehead
"Seel!" Seel appeared, clapping its fins.
Elaine scanned the Pokémon
Seel, the Sea Lion Pokémon. A Water Type. Seel hunts for prey in the frigid sea underneath sheets of ice. When it needs to breathe, it punches a hole through the ice with the sharply protruding section of its head.
"Eevee, let's move!" Ash said.
"Vee," Eevee said as she jumped on the nearest platform.
"Seel get close & use Headbutt," Misty commanded.
Seel swam quickly up to Eevee.
"Eevee when it comes, use Double Kick," Ash instructed.
When Seel jumped out of the water to Headbutt Eevee, the latter turned around & kicked Seel twice, sending it onto a nearby platform.
"Seel Dive." Seel dived into the water.
"Be careful Eevee, Seel can pop up from anywhere," Ash said.
Eevee tried to listen for Seel when suddenly Seel Headbutts the platform she's on, sending her into the air.
"Now Aurora Beam."
"Seel!" Seel fired a multicolored beam of energy from its horn that struck Eevee, sending her into the water.
"Quick Eevee get out of the water." Eevee got on the nearest platform & shook herself dry.
"Use Aqua Tail." Seel's tail becomes surrounded in swirling water & charged at Eevee.
"Meet it with Iron Tail." Eevee's tail glowed a metallic color & clashed with Seel.
"Seel, dive in." After the clash, Seel dived into the water.
Ash gritted her teeth.
"Use Aqua Jet!" Seel become surrounded by water, shot itself out of the water like a rocket & tackled Eevee into the water again.
"Eevee!" Ash gasps.
"Seel, Icy Wind." Seel's horn glows white & releases a gust of wind with light blue sparkle in it.
"Double Team."
"Eevee!" Eevee glowed white, made multiple copies of herself & avoided the attack.
"Shadow Ball." Eevee & her copies fired black & purple balls of shadow energy from their mouths that struck Seel.
"Find the real one with Aqua Tail." Seel used Aqua Tail on all the copies before hitting the real Eevee.
"Eevee Swift." Eevee's tail glowed yellow & fired multiple yellow stars from it.
"Ice Shard." Seel fires multiple shards of ice from its mouth which collided with Swift.
"Use Take Down!" Ash & Misty ordered.
Eevee & Seel became surrounded by a golden force field & clashed with each other, causing an explosion. When the smoke cleared, Seel was down.
"Seel is unable to battle, Eevee wins," Violet announced.
"You were amazing Seel," Misty said, recalling Seel.
"Eevee you were wonderful," Ash smiled as she hugged her second Starter.
"Vee," Eevee smiled as she nuzzled her face.
"You did well Ashley, but let's see if you can handle this. Go Starmie!" Misty sent out a purple ten-pointed starfish-like Pokémon.
"Brr!" Starmie appeared as Ash scanned it
Starmie, the Mysterious Pokémon. A Water & Psychic Type. Starmie swims through water by spinning its star-shaped body as if it were a propeller on a ship. The core at the center of this Pokémon's body glows in seven colors.
"All yours, Pikachu," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu said as she entered the battlefield.
"Starmie use Rain Dance," Misty commanded.
"Brrrrr!" Starmie said as it summoned dark clouds & heavy rain.
"Use Hydro Pump." Starmie fired a powerful stream of water from its core.
"Dodge it." Pikachu leaps to another platform.
"Bubble Beam." Starmie fired a beam of blue bubbles at Pikachu.
"Iron Tail!" Pikachu's tail glowed a metallic color & cut through all the bubbles. Then she struck Starmie with her Iron Tail.
"Starmie Surf." Starmie summoned a huge tidal wave & rode on it.
"Pikachu Thunderbolt in the rainstorm."
"CHUUUU!" Pikachu fired a bolt of yellow electricity into the storm, which caused the clouds to emit bolts of lighting, and the lighting started to strike the pool, shocking Starmie.
"Starmie!" Misty called out. "Quick Starmie get out of the water."
Starmie hopped onto the nearest platform, sparks emitting from its body, showing its paralysis.
"Pikachu Quick Attack." Pikachu became surrounded by a light blue aura & charged at Starmie.
"Starmie, Flash." Starmie's core shines brightly, giving off a bright light that blinded Pikachu. "Power Gem!"
Starmie fires a pale pink beam from its core.
"Light Screen."
"Pika!" Pikachu said as she summoned a pink curved force field & protected herself.
"Brr," Starmie said as the paralysis took effect.
"Pikachu Thunder!" Ash said.
"CHUUUUU!" Pikachu fired a powerful blast of yellow electricity & hit Starmie, causing it to faint.
"Starmie is unable to battle, Pikachu wins. So the victory goes to Ashley the Challenger," Violet announced.
"Alright!" Ash cheered as she hugged Pikachu.
"Pika Pikachu," Pikachu smiled.
Misty returned Starmie & walked up to Ash.
"That was a great battle, Ashley. It was quite thrilling," Misty complimented.
"Thanks Misty," Ash smiled.
"As proof of your victory, I present you the Cascade Badge," Misty said as she handed Ash a blue raindrop shaped badge.
"Alright, we got the Cascade Badge!" Ash cheered.
"Pikachu!/Eevee!" Pikachu & Eevee cheered.
After saying goodbye to Misty and her sisters, Ash, Brock & Elaine left the Gym.
"Um, can I travel with you guys?" Elaine asked.
"Why is that?" Brock asked.
"I thought it would be fun & it's better than traveling alone," Elaine admitted.
Ash & Brock looked at each other & nodded.
"We don't mind at all," Ash said.
Elaine smiled at the two.
With another new friend, the journey continues.
