Thawne grinned as he raced into his sewer lair, no longer needing to worry about whether or not his speed would last.

"Father, you seem different." Grodd noticed as he walked up to his father.

"That's right buddy. I've fixed my little problem." Thawne said.

"Your speed is fixed." Grodd asked, looking surprised.

"That's right. I found a way to fix it." Thawne said.

"So what now father?" Grodd asked, since this would change the plan a bit.

"Now we can begin. With my powers back at full strength, I can now effectively take control of the metahuman criminal underworld in this city." Thawne said, since if he knew one thing from the metahumans in his own time period, they only responded to strength and as long as his speed was unstable, he wouldn't be able to properly motivate the metas to work for him.

"How?" Grodd asked.

"We'll perform a two pronged recruiting operation. One here and one in my own time." Thawne said.

"You're going home?" Grodd asked, surprised.

"I have forces waiting for me back home, forces that I should've brought here with me when I first came to this time period. I plan to go home and bring my most trusted soldiers back here with me, since every general needs lieutenants they can trust and while you're great, I need more trustworthy lieutenants to command the army that you will raise in my absence. And while I'm home, I'll also gather more resources for us to use." Thawne said and Grodd nodded.

"I will begin recruiting metahumans to our ranks. Though it is a pity that I do not possess the means to orchestrate a breakout from Belle Reve Prison." Grodd said and Thawne nodded.

"It truly is a pity, but hopefully I'll have a solution for that by the time I return. And perhaps you should also begin a new exploit to fund our operation." Thawne said.

"What exploit?" Grodd asked.

"Metahuman trafficking. I'm sure that plenty of people out there would pay for metahumans at their command and once we start that, it will grow exponentially, making metas all over the world angry and they will be easier to rally to our side." Thawne said and Grodd nodded, since he agreed with his father that this was an excellent idea.

"I'll begin making preparations at once, since we can also keep the most powerful metas for ourselves, but I'll need a means of controlling them." Grodd pointed out as Thawne tapped the plinth to bring up designs for some kind of computer chip.

"That should be sufficient." Thawne said.

"Grodd will start putting these plans into effect immediately." Grodd promised.

"Good. I expect you to have made significant strides in our plan by the time I return. And I expect you to keep up the fight against the Flash for the time being." Thawne said.

"I will Father." Grodd said and Thawne smirked.

"I'll see you soon. Choose our troops wisely, Grodd. Though I shouldn't need to tell you that." Thawne said and Grodd nodded as Thawne sped off towards the future.

Meanwhile, Team Flash was taking a night off thanks to box seats at Shark Stadium between their home football team, the Central City Sharks against one of their rivals, the National City Lions. Although, technically, it was a triple date for Barry and Iris, Caitlin and Gabby and Cisco and Lisa.

"These seats are amazing. How did you get these tickets again?" Lisa asked with a grin, since she had not expected her science nerd boyfriend to get football tickets.

"My aunt has connections with the owner of the Sharks and pulled some strings." Gabby said.

"And I'm friends with the owner of the Lions." Barry said.

"Really, you know Kara Danvers?" Lisa asked, since she knew the owner of one of the best teams in the NFL.

"Yeah, in fact, she's Cisco and Caitlin's boss after she bought Star Labs." Barry said.

"You know a billionaire?" Lisa asked.

"Yeah and I'm going to be expecting a very expensive wedding present from her." Iris said, since while Kara didn't flash her wealth the way some people did, she still used it at times.

"Not surprised to hear that." Lisa said as the Sharks scored.

"Damn, the sharks are crushing it." Gabby said.

"Yes they are." Caitlin said, right as the kiss cam came up and she and Gabby were thrown up there.

"I guess we have no choice." Gabby said.

"You don't hear me complaining." Caitlin said with a grin as they actually shared their first real kiss on the jumbotron.

"Well, at least now they'll always have evidence of their first kiss." Barry said, since even after the kiss cam had moved onto other people, Caitlin and Gabby continued kissing and even without breaking apart, Caitlin pricked him with a small ice shard, without anyone seeing her do it.

"Quiet, it's sweet. I was wondering what it would take to get them to kiss, since this is long overdue." Iris said as they finally broke apart.

"Don't make me hurt you both." Gabby said as they returned their attention to the game.
