Episode 5: You Never Can Taillow
The adventure begins with Max walking and looking through his telescope.
Searching around, Max says, "Odd. I don't see a single one anywhere."
As Mew and Tomo along with their old friends, Jen and Molly, and their new friends May and Max, their travels begin in the Petalburg Forest, with hopes of seeing new Pokémon.
Tired. May soon asks, "Any chance that we'll be stopping for lunch soon?"
"Huh?" Tomo replies.
"But I haven't even seen one Pokémon yet," Max says.
"Uh, did you think you could just look up and see one whenever you wanted to, Max? It doesn't always work that way," Mew says.
"Mew is right, Max," Molly says.
But Max says, "But I always heard Petalburg Forest is so full of Pokémon, you can't miss them. I wonder if we're in the wrong part of the woods."
"Maybe," Jen says.
Just then, May grabs Mew's left arm, "Hey, Mew, let's eat lunch!"
But Max grabs Mew's right arm, "No! Let's go a different way!"
May pulls Mew to her, "No it's time for lunch, Mew!"
Max pulls Mew to her, "Not till we see Pokémon!"
May pulls again, "Lunch!"
Max pulls again,"Find Pokémon!"
May again, "Lunch!"
Max pulls again, "No!"
May pulls again, "Yes!"
Max pulls again, "No!"
Mew then releases herself from their grip, "Hold it! Both of you!"
That causes the two to stop fighting.
"Alright. Here's what we're going to do. We'll stop for a quick lunch break, and then we'll decide which way to go and search for Pokemon," Mew says.
May cheers, "Yeah!"
"Max says, "Alright!"
Moments later, everyone settles themselves down for lunch. Everyone soon begins to eat their sandwiches. Even the Pokemon are getting a little food.
"These sandwiches are good. Who knew that fruits make good sandwiches," May says.
"Thanks. I've learned how to make these from another friend from Orange Islands," Mew says.
"But there isn't really enough," Max says.
"Yeah. I didn't realize we were starting to run low on food supplies, but glad we're able to eat something," Mew says.
"Yeah. At least we got some for the Pokemon," Jen says.
"But not much left," Tomo says.
Amaura nods in agreement.
Mew then sighs, "At times like this, Brock would be able to help make some more meals for everyone."
"Uh huh," Molly says with a nod.
This takes an interest to May, "Brock?"
"Brock who?" Max says.
"A friend we were traveling with before. Knows lots about Pokémon, but he really knows how to cook, too. In fact, he taught me a few things about cooking. However, Brock is the best," Mew says.
"Sounds like Brock is a great guy," May says.
"He sure is. His dream is to become the best Pokemon Breeder," Mew says.
"A Breeder, that's cool," Max says.
"Brock will appreciate it. I also have another friend named Misty…" Mew says, and explains to them about Misty, Brock, and all their adventures.
Unbeknownst to them, Team Rocket was spying nearby, eating some food they had.
James says, "Well, it's a good thing we found the twerps."
"And it looks like they're almost out of food which will cause some tension," Jessie says.
And Meowth says, "So we strike while da stomach is grumbling, dat's what I say! Come on, let's pinch dat Pikachu and Eevee."
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet! ("Let's do it!") Wobbuffet says.
"I don't know," James says.
"Yeah, maybe," Jessie says.
"What's your problem?!"" Meowth asks.
"I'm still eating," Jessie says.
"Huh?" Meowth replies, confused.
"Meowth, were you born in a barn?" James questions, "It's terrible manners to simply get up and leave in the middle of a meal."
"Wobbuffet!" (A fair point.) Wobbuffet says.
"Dere's nuttin' wrong wit bein' born in a barn!" Meowth shouts.
Back to Mew and the others, sadly, the food they have wasn't enough to give them full stomachs, but enough to at least have a little.
May's stomach growls, "I'm still so hungry."
"I need more food... so…" Max says and checks her backpack
"Hey, what've you got in there?!" May asks.
Max takes out a box of chocolate.
"Chocolate cookies?!" Jen happily says.
"Yummy! Cookies!" Molly happily says.
"Of course you're gonna share with your sister," May happily says.
Max took out just one, "Only one."
Tomo and May reply disappointedly, "Only one?!"
"Sorry. It's my emergency stash," Max says.
However, unbeknownst to them, something was watching them from the bushes.
"So if we split it, we'll each get at least half a bite," Jen says.
"Mm-hm," May replies with a nod
"Maybe," Mew says, "But I'm sure we can find some fruits and vegetables in the forest somewheres."
Suddenly, something swoops down and snatches the chocolate cookie away.
"Huh?!" Everyone reacts.
"What was that?" Mew replies, turning to the direction the thing swoops to.
They all look up and spot a bird-like Pokémon flying away with their chocolate.
"Look!" Tomo says.
"It's a pokemon," Molly says.
Soon, Max runs after it, "Yeah! I finally found a Pokémon!"
The others soon follow.
"It stole our chocolate!" May cries out.
"Don't let it get away!" Jen calls out.
"What is that Pokémon?!" Molly asks.
"It looks like a Taillow," Mew says.
"Yeah. It is a Taillow!"
Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dextette says, "Taillow, the Tiny Swallow Pokémon. A Normal and Flying Type. Taillow has a fierce personality, never backing down, even against the most powerful opponents."
The Taillow is a small avian Pokémon with dark blue feathers. A red marking with pointed tips stretches from its chest to its forehead, and it has a white underside. It has narrow brown eyes and a short yellow beak. It has elongated wingtips and black feet with yellow talons. Each foot has three toes facing forward and one backward. Two sharply pointed feathers form its tail.
"That's cool," Tomo says.
May shouts, "Give back that chocolate!
Max calls out, "Careful, May, where there's one Taillow, there's always a whole flock of them!"
"And I hear that Taillow and other Bird Pokemon can be really territorial," Mew says.
Everyone soon catch up with the Taillow as it rests on the branch of an apple tree and eats/
"Give us back that chocolate, you robber!" May shouts, but Taillow doesn't listen.
May screams louder, "I WANT IT BACK! GIVE IT BACK!"
However, the Taillow doesn't listen and eats the entire cookie
"Too late," Molly says.
May cries out in sadness and disappointment, "It ate the whole thing!"
"Guess that Taillow must have been really hungry," Tomo says.
"Yeah. I wonder if my chocolate cookie filled it up," Max replies.
May drops to her knees, "We're still hungry, too."
The Tailow simply belches in response.
Max calls out, "Taillow, how did you like my chocolate?!"
"Taillow, Taillow." (It was filling) Taillow says.
Mew translates, "Taillow says it was filling."
"Glad you enjoyed it," May says sarcastically.
"Don't worry, May. I'm sure we'll get some food in the next town," Mew says.
Suddenly, Pikachu and Eevee call out, "Pika Pi! Eevee!" (Mew!)
"Yeah?" Mew asks.
Meloetta says, "Loetta Loetta!" (Just look right behind you.)
Mww looks behind her and notices apples in the trees, "Look, guys!"
They all look up and see the apples in the trees.
"These trees are full of fruit!" Jen says.
Max cheers, "We've been saved!"
May is awestruck, "Watch out, tummy! Here it comes!"
"Alright!" Tomo says.
"Let's go pick some!" Jen says.
Then Mew calls out, "Pikachu, Eevee, help us out and knock down some of that fruit!"
Pikachu and Eevee use Thunderbolt to knock some of the apples out of the trees. But then, a flock of Taillow appeared out of the trees and took the falling apples before they hit the ground. Everyone gasps in shock.
May cries with disappointment, "Oh, no! Again?!"
The whole flock soon turned their full attention to Mew and the others.
One Taillow shouts, "Taillow!" (Charge!)
"This is bad. I think they're angry," Jen says.
"It almost looks like they're about to attack!" Max says.
"They got their fruit back, so what's the problem?" May asks.
"I think they're upset because we might be in the middle of their territory!" Mew says.
"In that case, they might be mad 'cause we were gonna eat some of their fruit!" Tomo says.
May grows worried, "What should we do?"
"Well, I guess we could try apologizing?" May asks.
And then the Lead Tailow says, "Taillow!" (Get 'em!)
The whole flock goes on the attack.
Mew protects the others as the Taillow dart in.
"Here they come!" Jen cries out.
"Mew, can't you do something?!" May panic.
Mew calls out, "Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu performs the attack and hits the flock, forcing all the Taillow to the ground.
"Whoa, that was too close," May says.
"Lucky for us that electric attacks are so effective against flying Pokémon," Max says.
"That'll keep them down for a while," Tomo says.
But Jen notices, "Uh, don't be too sure."
However, the flock starts to budge, to the shock of Mew and the group. The flock starts to get up, rather angry about what happened.
Everyone screams, "WHOA!"
"Maybe not!" Mew says, shocked.
Worried, May says, "Do you think we woke them up?"
"But how could they have recovered so quickly?!" Max asks.
The flock gained altitude once more and went on the attack.
Mew calls out, "Eevee, Thunderbolt them!"
Eevee uses Thunderbolt on the flock, however, they manage to withstand and power out of it. Eevee is shocked about it. The Taillow flock, angrier than before, surrounded the group.
"That didn't affect them! "Molly cries out.
"How is that possible?! Pikachu and Eevee both scored a direct hit!" Max wonders.
"Remember what the Pokédex said?! Taillow are fierce, and they won't back down no matter how strong the opponent!" Mew says
Meanwhile, Team Rocket pops out of the bushes and sees what's happening.
"Those Taillow are fantastic, aren't they?!" Jessie says.
"Bold and courageous, just like us!" James says.
"And dey got a knack for locating chocolate cookies!" Meowth adds.
Then Jessie says, "Just think of the power we'd have if the Taillow were on our side!"
"Catching Pikachu would be easy with a flock of them!" James says.
"It'll be a fedder in our cap!" Meowth says.
Wobbuffet says, "Wobbuffet!" (You said it!)
Pikachu and Eevee launch another Thunderbolt and shocks the lead Taillow, but it stops itself from hitting the ground as it goes down.
"May then says, "You know, I bet that one's the leader!"
"Well, the chocolate mustache on its beak means it's also the one who started this!" Max says.
The lead Taillow charges in with Wing attack.
"Incoming Wing Attack!" Jen cries out.
"Pikachu! Eevee! Watch out!" Mew calls out.
The lead Taillow swooped in but Pikachu and Eevee dodge the oncoming attack before Tailow comes around for another shot and lands it. Pikachu skids along the ground as the lead Taillow comes around yet again.
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt, now!" Mew calls out
Pikachu launches the attack and nails Taillow, but it STILL withstood the power of it.
"No way!" Mew says, shocked.
"Pika?!" (Hey what?!) Pikachu exclaims.
"Unbelievable!" Max says, shocked.
"That's one tough Taillow!" Tomo says.
"They're closing in on us, guys!" May cries out.
"Nothing seems to work," Mew
The flock surrounds the whole group.
The Taillow flock swooped in for an attack.
The flock swooped down for an attack towards the shocked group of friends. May, Max, Jen and Molly brace themselves for the attack as Molly hides behind Mew. Mew stands in front of everyone to protect them.
But just then, the silhouette of a familiar figure leaped onto the scene.
And shouts, "Forretress,... Explosion!"
Everyone gasps as Forretress appears and blows up right before the Taillow flock, forcing them to retreat. The smoke clears out to reveal the group covered in ash, but they soon see an old friend standing before them.
"Brock?!" Mew says, surprised.
Even Tomo, Jen, and Molly are surprised. The Pokemon are as well.
"This is Brock?" May and Max ask, a little surprised.
Brock turned to the gang with a smirk
Moments later, Brock reunited with the others, walking along the stream.
"We'll be safer outside of the forest," Brock says.
"Thanks, Brock. We were lucky you came by," Mew says.
"You saved us," Molly says.
"Well, you should really thank Forretress," Brock says, "And glad to see both you and Jen again, Molly."
"It's great to see you too," Jen says.
Brock kneels down to the Pokemon level.
"It's good to see you again, Pikachu. Eevee," Brock says.
"Pika Pika!" (Hello, Brocko!) Pikachu says.
Eevee!" (Hi Brock!) Eevee says.
Then Brock notices, "Looks like you got hurt a little bit, huh?"
"Pika?" (I did?) Pikachu says, looking at his injury.
Brock then takes out a potion, "Here," and sprays it on Pikachu.
Pikachu screams in response, "PIKA!" (THAT HURT!)
Brock then turns to the other Pokemon, "And it's great to see you too, Amaura, Meloetta, and Swkovet."
The three Pokemon happily say hello to Brock.
Mew laughs and asks, "So, Brock, what are you doing out here? I thought you were gonna go home.
"I did go home, and everything's fine, so we decided to come back out," Brock answers, "Then Professor Birch told us you and the others were headed to Rustboro City so I decided to come out here and see if I could find you. Course, I barely recognized you with your new hairstyle.
"Hey, does that mean we're gonna travel together again?!" Mew asks.
"Yeah! If you don't mind," Brock answers.
Mew and Brock soon shake hands.
"Best news I've had all day!" Mew says.
Then Mew says to Brock, ""Let me and the others introduce you to our new friends. This is May and her brother Max from Petalburg City."
Then Mew says to May and Max, "This is our friend Brock. He's training to become the world's best Pokemon breeder."
"Hi there," May says.
"Hey, Brock. Nice to meet you. It's cool being a breeder, huh?" Max says.
"Yeah. I still got a lot to learn, though. But, hi," Brock says.
Then Mew says, "When I met Brock, he was the gym leader in Pewter City."
"Wow, you were?!" Max asks, excited.
"Hey, our Dad's a gym leader too!" May says.
"May and Max's father is the Gym Leader in Petalburg City," Tomo says.
Brock says to the two siblings, "I bet you guys want to become gym leaders too."
"Hmm... I don't know about that," May says, sounding unsure.
"I don't even have my first Pokémon yet," Max says, disappointed.
Brock kneels to Max and places his hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry Max. That takes time. It'll happen before you know it."
"Okay," Max says.
Then Brock stands up, "That's why I left some of my Pokémon at home so my brother could practice.
"That's cool!" Mew says.
Max says to Brock, "Your Forretress' Explosion attack was awesome!"
"Hey, thanks," Brock says.
Just then, May asks, "
"Hmm?" Brock says.
Then Masy says, "What Mew and the others told us about you? That you're a really good cook?"
"Hmm…" Brock replies, confused.
Then May asks, "Then how's about a little sample?"
"Alright. Let's have some lunch," Brock says.
However, they find Brock's lunch supplies are all gone.
Brock is horrified, "AHH! THEY'RE GONE!" and searched in his backpack, "There were a lot of sandwiches in my backpack!"
May is also horrified, "NO!"
"Brock, is it possible that you ate them already?" Max asks.
But Brock says, "No, although I was just about to eat one when I heard the Thunderbolt and ran to see if it was Pikachu and Eevee!
"So they disappeared during the battle," Mew says.
"Then the other Taillow ate them, probably, " May says and becomes disappointed, "I'm so hungry."
Then Brock says, "Taillow do tend to travel in flocks looking for food and then devour whatever they happen to come across. As you probably noticed, they're also very territorial and pretty aggressive so other Pokémon usually run and hide whenever they hear a flock of Taillow coming."
"That explains why we couldn't find any Pokémon when we first got to the woods, huh?" Max says.
"The Taillow must have scared them off," Tomo says.
"And why the whole flocks attacked us when we were just trying to get some fruit out of those trees," Jen says.
May simply groans in disappointment as her stomach growls.
Then Brock says, "Okay, how about I rustle us up some stew?"
"Really?!" May and Jen ask, happily.
"That sounds great!" Tomo and Max says.
"Yippie!" Molly cheers.
"Brock to the rescue!" Mew says.
"The Pokemon's first. How does that sound?" Brock says.
All the Pokemon cheer happily to hear it.
Meanwhile, the Tailow flock is seen looking at the crater left by Forretress' Explosion until…
"Calling all Taillow," Meowth calls out.
"We come bearing gifts," Jessie says.
"Yummy sandwiches," James says.
"Wobbuffet," (Come and get it.) Wobbuffet says.
It's soon revealed Team Rocket holding sandwiches, meaning they were the ones who stole the sandwiches from Brock. The Taillow flock get a closer look.
"Dey're yours ta chow down on, but foist we gotta talk an' make a little dealio," Meowth says.
However, the flock divebombs towards them, causing them to panic and drop their offerings, allowing the Taillow to feast upon them.
Meowth says to the flock, "Or you could eat foist, an' den we'll talk."
"Wobbuffet." (That could work.) Wobbuffet says.
"Oh, I still say we should've saved one to eat ourselves," Jessie says.
"A rumbling tummy is small price to pay to capture a Pikachu and Eevee," James says.
The Tailow flock turns to them, demanding more.
"Huh?" James says, confused.
"Dey're sayin' dey want some more," Meowth says.
"Do you feather brains think this is a restaurant?
"That's fine,... " Jessie says. Then says to the flock, "But first you'll have to do a little something for us."
The flock looks in confusion.
Meanwhile, Brock is seen cooking up some stew.
"Just a little while longer now, and it'll be ready," Brock says, but soon notices himself being watched, "Huh?"
Brock notices Tomo and May staring at the stew and moaning in delight.
"Guys, you're drooling on me," Brock says.
Soon, Brock heard something.
"Did you hear that?" Mew asks.
Pikachu jumped on a rock, having heard it as well, "Pika Pika!" (We've got, trouble!)
"Oh, no!" Molly says, shocked.
Everyone sees the lead Taillow flying their way.
"It's that same Taillow!" Tomo says.
"What's it want now?" May asks.
The Taillow lands on the rock just across from Pikachu.
"Pika?" (What?) Pikachu asks.
The lead Taillow says, "Low, Taillow!" (I challenge you!)
Pikachu soon accepts, "Pika! Pika Pika." (Okay, I accept it.)
"Can you tell what they're saying?" Max asks.
"I can. Taillow wants to Challenge Pikachu, and Pikachu accepts," Mew says.
"How come?" May asks,
Mew turns to Pikachu, "Am I right Pikachu?"
"Pika!" (You bet!) Pikachu says.
"Alright, we accept!" Mew says.
Max gasps in shock, "What?!"
": I don't get it. What's the point?" May asks, confused.
"I guess Taillow wants to prove which Pokémon is the best," Brock says.
"Hmm," May and Max respond, confused.
Then Brock says, "A strong opponent always make Taillow want to battle. I'm guessing it wants a clear winner decided in its battle with Pikachu."
Taillow takes flight.
"Alright, Pikachu!" Mew says.
"Pika!" (Roger) Pikachu responds with a nod.
Pikachu jumps to a rock in the stream.
Taillow calls out, "Taillow!" (Come on!)
"Pika!" (Bring it!) Pikachu calls out.
"Let's do it!" Mew says.
Taillow squawks loudly and begins flying towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu, Quick Attack!" Mew calls out.
Pikachu dash jumps from rock to rock till he leapt at a startled Taillow, but the it dodges Pikachu and gains more altitude
"How could it have dodged that Quick Attack?! First attacks are almost never off target," Max says.
Pikachu lands on a rock in the stream and dodges three more attacks from a fast moving Taillow
"But Taillow can fly and Pikachu can't. A clear advantage," May says.
Mew then calls out, "Use Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu fires the attack and it lands, but Tailow stops its fall and heads towards Pikachu, prompting him to jump
"Pika?!" (Hey what?!) Pikachu exclaims.
Taillow turns around for another attack
"Aw, wow! That Taillow's awesome! It just won't quit!" Mew says, amazed.
Taillow dove down and managed to grab Pikachu by the tail with its beak and take him upward. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt to try and get loose, but Taillow continues to fly up.
"It isn't working, Brock! How come?!" Max asks.
But Brock says, "Actually, the attack had an effect, but then..."
"Taillow just won't give up," May says.
Taillow continues to fly upward with Pikachu before it throws him down to the water.
"Well, we aren't about to give up either!" Mew says.
Pikachu resurfaces and quickly notices that Taillow was swooping in to attack.
"Here it comes, pal! Finish it for good this time! Thunder!" Mew calls out.
Pikachu charges in and attacks as both it and Taillow collide into each other, resulting in an explosion. Everyone gasps in shock, The wave created by the explosion dies down and clears out to reveal Pikachu and Taillow staring each other down, both exhausted.
"Wow, it won't back down," May says.
"But it's a flying type. Electric attacks should have finished it," Max says.
Taillow shouts, "Taillow!" (Come on!)
"Pika?!" (What?!) Pikachu exclaims, shocked.
"It still wants to battle!" Mew says, shocked.
Then Brock says, "Mew, you should put an end to this battle, before you do any more damage!
"I think you're right Brock," Mew says. She then brings out her Pokeball, "I'm afraid there's only one solution."
Taillow charges at Pikachu again.
"Alright! Go, Pokéball!" Mew shouts and throws her Pokeball at Taillow.
The Pokéball hits and Taillow is pulled in before the ball starts beeping
"Pika," (Come on.) Pikachu says.
Eevee also says, "Vee," (Please.)
The Pokéball beeps for a bit and then finally pings. As Pikachu sighs with relief, Mew picks up the Pokéball. Everyone is relieved as well to see the battle is over.
Later, Mew lets Taillow out of the Pokeball. Once out, Taillow heavily breathes.
"Poor Taillow. It's exhausted from its battle," May says.
Mew holds Taillow in her arms, "It's okay now. Calm down."
"Pikachu." (You're with us.) Pikachu says.
Brock sprayed some Potion on Taillow, only for it to rear back a bit in pain
"A shot of that and some rest, and you'll be as good as new in no time," Brock says.
Soon, Taillow mananges to calm himself, "Low! Low, Taillow!" (Hey! What, happened?)
"Mew then says to Taillow, "Well, Taillow, how do you feel about hitting the road with our group?"
"Taillow!" (Sounds fair!) Taillow says.
Mew then wipes the chocolate off of Taillow's beak, "Alright, then. We're glad to have you. Climb on," and Taillow does so.
"Hi Taillow, I'm Tomo," Tomo says.
"I'm Jen," Jen says.
"I'm Molly," Molly says.
Then Max says, "My name's Max, Taillow."
"Nice to meet you," May chuckles nervously and hides behind Brock.
"There's no reason to hide, you know," Brock says.
"I'm not hiding. I'm introducing myself gradually," May says, still nervous.
"Taillow, you're my very first Pokémon here in the Hoenn region," Mew says.
"Pi Pikachu!" (Our newest friend!) Piakchu says.
"Eevee!" (Alright!) Eevee says.
And Taillow says, "Taillow!" (Booyah!) but then senses something, "Tail?" (Huh?)
"What is it?" Jen asks.
Everyone soon sees the rest of Taillow's flock.
"That flock again!" Max says, shocked.
"Still after us?!" May asks, stunned.
"Amaura! (Not good!) Amaura says.
The Taillow flock approaches
"Whoa, don't tell me they all want to battle Pikachu," Mew says.
"It is a possibility," Brock says.
Then Taillow flies to the flock, "Taillow!" (Hold it!)
Mew's Taillow tries to talk some sense into its former flock, until…
"You won't talk em out of it, Taillow!" Meowth says.
"Who's that?" May asks.
Then Max notices, "Those bad guys again!"
"It's Team Rocket!" Brock says.
"It's them alright!" Mew says.
Team Rocket jump forth with an evil cackle
"What do you want?!" Mew demands.
"Some things just never change," Brock says.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble from in the sky.
James:
Make it double, then say goodbye.
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie.
James:
James.
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight.
Meowth:
Dat's right!
Wobbuffet:
Wobbuffet. (Exactly!)
"I think you've already met our flock of Taillow, the newest members of the elite Team Rocket fighting force?" Jessie says.
"No way!" Mew says, shocked.
"With the fierce unbeatability to battle on, no matter how many electric attacks they take!" Jessie says,
"JEven though unbeatability is not a word," James says.
"Wobbuffet." (Look it up!) Wobbuffet says.
Jessie then pushes both James and Wobbuffet aside, "Now, listen up, Taillow, the harder you battle, the more delicious sandwiches you'll get."
That catches Brock's attention, "Hold on! You mean sandwiches like the bunch that were here an hour ago?!"
Then Meowth notices, "Well, well, look who it is. Da biggest twoip has made a comeback as well."
"You're right. Welcome back," Jessie says.
"Well, if you came for lunch, I'm afraid that you're a little late," James says.

May also angrily says, "YEAH, WE'RE STARVING!"
Then Jessie bursts out, "Oh, please! If you wanted them so bad, you should've written your name on your lunch bag."
"Yeah, besides dat, dey're already gone! Taillow, take care of Pikachu and Eevee!" Meowth says.
"Pika!" (Oh great!) Pikacnu says.
"Eevee!" (Here we go again!) Eevee says.
The flock quickly surrounds Pikachu and Eevee as well.
May chuckles as she brings out her Pokeball, "Oh, no, you don't! Go, Torchic!"
Torchic comes out, but blindly charges in.
May panics, "Um, wait, Torchic! I still haven't told you what to do!"
"Mew, what's with her?" Brock asks.
"May's actually a new trainer and just got Torchic, so she still learning," Mew says
Torchic kept charging till it hit the rock Team Rocket was standing on and knocked itself out.
May cries in disappointment, "Return!"
Torchic is recalled back to the Pokeball.
May groans in disappointment, "I've never been so humiliated."
"That was fun, but now, go, Taillow!
The flock prepared to attack
"Pika..." (Okay...) Pikachu says.
"Eevee…" (Here we go…) Eevee says.
Mew's Taillow says, "Taillow!" (Hold up!)
But right then and there, a ringing was heard as everyone turned to the source of the noise, which was the timer for the stew
Brock says, "The stew is ready!"
"Yipee!" Molly cheers.
"Alright!" Tomo cheer.
"And I'm ready to eat it!" May happily says.
"Me too!" Jen says.
Soon, everyone gathers around.
"Smells good," Max says.
"Looks good," May says.
"And if the guys and I know Brock, it tastes good," Mew says.
The Pokemon happily agree.
The flock comes up behind the group and two land on Brock's shoulders, looking for a taste.
Brock turns to the Taillow, "Hey, everybody, would you like to join us for some lunch?"
"Taillow," (Sure would.) Taillow happily say.
Team Rocket is upset that their plan backfired.
"Eh, now what?" Meowth asks.
"Now they'll beat us by using our dirty trick," James says.
But then Jessie remembers, "Oh... Wait a second! Pikachu and Eevee haven't fully eaten!"
"Hmm, we'll attack while they've weak from hunger," James says.
"Anuddah doity trick!" Meowth sayd
Suddenly, Mew calls out, "Pikachu, Eevee, Thunderbolt!
This shocked Team Rocket, "Huh?!"
Pikachu and Eevee launch the attack and send Team Rocket flying.
"Sorry about that, Team Rocket, but this time, you're the one's who are too late. Pikachu and Eevee already ate Brock's Pokémon food," Mew says.
Piakchu and Eevee agree.
"Dat's nice," Meowth says.
"Everyone's eaten but us," Jessie says.
"Except for that taste of our own medicine," James says.
Team Rocket cry out, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
Later, the stew pot is seen to be empty.
Everyone say, "Thank you, Brock."
Everyone is seen eating, including the Taillow flock.
"That was really great stew," Max says.
"Mew wasn't kidding. You're an awesome cook, Brock," May says,
"Yep, we told you he's a good guy to have around," Mew says.
Everyone agrees, "Mm-hmm."
"Well, the two of you have an appetite that's almost as big as the others, which makes cooking even more fun.
The Taillow flock soon flies off.
"Are the Taillow leaving?" May asks.
"Maybe they've eaten all the food in this area, so now they have to move on," Mew says.
Soon, Mew's Taillow calls out, "Taillow! Taillow, Taillow!" (Bye, guys! Good luck!)
": Looks like your Taillow is saying goodbye to all of its friends, Mew," Brock says.
The flock bid farewell to their former leader and fly away.
"There they go," Mew says.
Brock nods, "Yep."
"Time for us to get moving too. Let's head out to Rustboro City," Mew says.
"Yay!" Everyone cheers.
Then Brock says, "Great, but first we'll do the dishes."
Everyone groans.,
"Reunited with their old friends Brock, Mew catches her first Pokemon in the Hoenn region, and with that, the group pushes on, looking forward to more new friends and new adventures on the road ahead.
