Episode 23. A Hole Lotta Trouble
Mew and her friends are walking through the woods. Pikachu and Eevee spot something up ahead and run towards it. Soon, they both stop right before a cave entrance.
"This is it! The Granite Cave," Max says.
"It's huge! Look at that opening!" Tomo says.
"Cool!" Jen says.
"And somewhere inside must be Steven, hunting for those rare rocks," May says.
"Let's go inside and try to find him. Mr. Stone said he'd be a good person for us to know," Brock says.
"Yeah, and he also said that Steven's a really awesome Pokémon trainer," Mew says.
"He must know just about every Pokémon there is," Max says.
"Possibly, and I'll bet you he knows the best places on this island for training," Brock says.
Then May asks, "Max, can you tell if there might be creepy things inside of the cave?"
Max: The PokéNav doesn't give out information like that," Max says.
"Even so, there must be a lot of different Pokemon living in the cave," Mew says.
"That's true," Molly says.
"And the only way for us to find out is to go check it out," Mew says.
And with that, the group enters Granite Cave to find Steven.
Meanwhile, further in the cave, Team Rocket was busy digging.
James groans, "Ugh. How many thousands of ridiculous holes does this one make?"
"Quit complaining. If you wanna catch Pikachu and Eevee just keep digging," Jessie says and soon giggles, "Besides they'd never expect a hole in the middle of a cave."
"Even though a cave is one giant hole?" Meowth says.
"Hmm. Mm. This-digging-holes plan always goes wrong. Can't we just have a direct battle for once?" James replies.
Wobbuffet soon comes out, "Wobbuffet!" (Good idea!)
"I'm the one who gives orders, you take orders," Jessie says
"If we're ordering, I'll take some French fries, "Meowth says.
"Just dig!" Jessie shouts.
Meanwhile, Mew and the others begin exploring around the cave.
"Wow! This cave seems to go on forever," May says.
"Yeah. Kinda like you do sometimes," Max says.
"I wonder where Steven is," Jen says.
Tomo calls out, "Steven! Are you in here?!"
"Loletta!" (Is anyone home?!) Meloetta calls out.
"Steven!" Mew calls out.
As Brock runs ahead to a fork in the cave, the word Steven echoes around them.
"Uh, what's that you're putting on the wall, Brock?" Mew asks.
"They're markers," Brock says, putting a marker on it, "If we're lost, we just have to follow the arrows and we'll find our way out of here. And they're perfect for a cave because, they glow in the dark."
"That's planning ahead!" May says.
Max calls out, "Steven! Where are you?!"
Max's voice continues echoing across the cave.
Meanwhile, down in another part of the ave, a young man with light blue hair is busy digging with a small Pokémon helping him.
The young man turns to his Pokemon, "Any luck, Aron?"
Aron is a quadrupedal Pokémon with four stubby legs and a large round head. Its body is black with plates of gray armor covering its head, back, and legs. Throughout its body are small openings in the armor. There are six openings on its head, with the largest two being openings for its pale blue eyes and one opening on either side of the spike on its back. A single, blunt spike protrudes from its back.
Aron confirms it had no luck finding whatever its trainer was looking for.
"Really? You didn't find anything?" The young man says, and kneels down and searches his backpack, "Well, let's eat," He then pulls out a box of Pokémon food, "Hey, look what I brought."
Aron immediately becomes excited.
"Here you go," The man says.
Aron quickly starts eating.
"We'll try a new spot," The man says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket was lying in wait.
Jessie quietly says, "Another perfect creation."
Meowth: Yeah. A real ace in da hole," Meowth says.
Suddenly, they hear Mew's voice, "Steven!"
Team Rocket quickly recognizes the voice of who's shouting
"And here they come without a clue," Jessie says.
But James says, "I still think a direct battle is the way to go."
"Who's Steven?" Meowth asks.
Jessie shushes them, "Shh. It doesn't matter who he is or why they're looking for him."
Team Rocket soon ducks down as Mew and her friends enter the area.
"This place is beautiful," May says.
Brock agrees, "Yeah, I've never seen anything like…"
But right then and there, they all fall into Team Rocket's trap
Team Rocket happily cries out, "It worked!"
"How did we not see that hole?" Brock asks.
Team Rocket's laughter soon catches their attention.
"Team Rocket!" May cries out.
Team Rocket cheers, "Ha, ha! You fell for it! You fell for it!"
But as Team Rocket celebrates like goofs, the ground starts to give way, bringing their celebration to a stop
"What's that sound?" Tomo asks.
"I think the ground is about to give…" Mew says, worried.
But before Mew can finish, the ground beneath them gives way as Mew cries out, "WAY!"
Team Rocket soon falls down with them. In the other cave, the young man and his Aron hear their screaming.
"Aron, did you hear that?" The man asks.
Meanwhile, everyone was falling down different paths, splitting up further.
"Something's going on here. Let's check it out!" The young man says.
Both trainer and Pokémon rush off, meanwhile, each of the splintered groups land. Starting with Max's group.
"Hey, where'd everybody go?" Max asks.
Tomo comes out, "I was about to ask the same thing, Max."
Max calls out, "May! Mew! Brock!"
Tomo calls out, "Jen! Molly!"
So far, no one is here.
Mac calls out, "Where is everyone? Can anyone hear me out there! We're stuck!"
Soon, Pikachu and Eevee pop out of the dirt.
"Pikachu!" Max says.
"And Eevee too!" Tomo says.
Max says, "Boy, are we glad to see you!"
"Pika." (Hey, Max.) Pikachu says.
"Eevee!" (You too, Tomo) Eevee says.
Soon, Meowth pops out of the dirt, too.
"Dat mean you ain't glad to see me?" Meowth asks.
"You could say that," Max says.
Tomo looks up, "Hey guys, look up."
Everyone does so.
"We musta fallen trough da roof up dere!" Meowth says.
"Yeah. I betcha I know how this happened," Max says, "This cave must be made of lots of different tunnels and levels."
"And judging from my bruises, I'd say we fell to da bottom level," Meowth says.
Then Tomo says, "Digging that hole must've weakened the floor so much that it gave way."
"Disgustin to tink how careless some people can be," Meowth says.
But Max says, "Save it, Meowth, we know Team Rocket did it."
"You three are the only ones who would dig holes around, especially in a cave," Tomo says.
"Eevee!" (That's right) Eevee says.
Meowth sheepishly says, "Anyway, let's just woik on getting back to where we started from, okay?"
Max pulls himself out of the dirt, "I guess so, but how are we ever gonna reach all the way up to that hole?"
Pikachu and Eevee climb out of the hole.
Pikachu notices, "Pika Pika!" (Look what I found!)
"What's dat? A tunnel?" Meowth replies, looking what Pikachu found.
"Alright, then, let's check it out," Max says.
But before they can leave, Meowth says, "Oh, no you don't! We've been bustin our behinds all day to catch Pikachu and Eevee, and you're just strolling off?! I ain't gonna let any of yous slip through my paws dis time! Not a chance!"
Everyone just sweat drops.
"Come on, Meowth, you're the one who said we oughta get back and find the others first, what are you talking about?" Max says.
"Heh. So, what are we just standing here for?" Meowth says.
Everyone walks off.
"Hey! Wait for Meowth!" Meowth calls out, runs after them.
Elsewhere, May, Jen, and Molly pop out of the dirt.
"That wasn't fun," May says.
"That really hurts," Molly says.
"I know," Amaura says.
Soon, Meloetta, and Amaura come out.
Soon, Jessie lands on May's head.
Jessie cries out, "Ow! I never get a soft landing!"
"Sorry about that, but this is your fault for digging that stupid hole," May says, feeling the pain.
Shocked, Jessie quickly gets off of May, "What's this, a group of three twerpettes?!"
"Who you calling twerps?!" May questions.
"Maybe you all weren't so heavy," Jessie says.
"We're not heavy, at least, not by ourselves," Jen says.
Then Jessie gets an idea, "Thank goodness for my ingenuity and brain power," She then reaches up into the hole she and the others fell through, "We can just, climb out through here."
Meanwhile, Mew, Brock, and Skwovet are together with James.
We have to find our way back to the others," Mew says and crosses her arms as she turns to James, "It's all thanks to you!"
"Jessie was the one who kept insisting on digging a hole!" James worriedly says.
"You're always in our way, why don't you just leave us alone?" Mew questions.
But James says, "Hey! I'm the guy who always wants to battle you fair and square, it's Jessie and Meowth that come up with these elaborate schemes! That's the truth!"
"Fine. Let's battle fair and square!" Mew says, and ready to battle.
James says, "Good! Just bring it on!"
But Brock gets between them, "She's right. Perhaps we should first deal with that fact that we're trapped with no hope of escape."
Mew and James soon realize Brock was right before they all try to pull themselves out. Meanwhile, with Max's group.
"Alright, we'll start by searching these tunnels for Steven," Max says.
"Who is dis Steven guy?" Meowth asks.
"He's the son of Mr. Stone, president of the Devon Corporation. He's been looking for rare rocks in this cave," Max says.
"You also mean rare rocks dat would be considered treasure?" Meowth asks.
"I don't know about that, but since it involves with Pokemon, maybe evolution stones or stuff like that," Tomo says.
And Max says, "But, since he's been down here digging around so much, he should know a lot about these caves."
"Da second in line of a big company like dat is stuck digging in a cave? Sounds like something went wrong somewhere," Meowth says.
But Max says, "I think you might have the wrong idea."
Pikachu soon senses something.
"What is it, Pikachu?" Tomo asks.
Pikachu looks and sniffs around. Eevee does the same.
Meowth sniffs around too, "Smells like fresh air."
Max and Tomo try to smell the same thing.
"I can't, smell anything," Max says.
"I sure can," Tomo says.
"It's much too subtle for dem human noses," Meowth says, "Of course, since Tomo and Mew were raised by Pokemon, their sense is a little stronger."
Pikachu soon comes across a tunnel, "Pikachu!" (This way guys!) and runs down a path.
"It's coming from over dere!" Meowth says.
"Hey! Wait for us!" Max says.
Meanwhile, the stranger is still looking for the source of the screaming.
As for Mew and her group, they were looking for the others.
"Hey, Pikachu! Eevee! Molly! May!" Mew calls out.
"Max! Jen! Amaura! Are you there! Brock calls out.
Skwovet calls out, "Skwov Skwovoet!" (Tomo! Meloetta! Where are you!"
James says, "Jessie, and Meowth!"
"They won't hear that, James." Mew says.
"Who cares? They're a bad influence on me anyway," James says.
Then why don't you stay away from them?" Brock asks.
James answers, "I guess the real problem is they're just so stubborn. But now that you mention it, why should I always do whatever they say? You know I deserve the right to get all worked up and angry, too. I should stick up for myself a lot more! I'm getting angry just thinking about it!" He then runs ahead and stops, "Jessie's an idiot! Meowth's a loser! I don't need them!"
Suddenly, something drops down near him.
"Is the floor breaking up again?" Mew asks.
Soon, the object moves towards them, revealing itself to be a wild Aron.
"That's an Aron," Brock says.
"Cool!" Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.
Dextette says, "Aron, the Iron Armor Pokémon. A Steel and Rock Type. Aron has an impressive defense power and eats iron ore in order to build up the metal in its body."
"Hey! What do you want? And quit staring at me like that! You're not scaring anyone with that head armor!" James says as he nudges the Aron the wrong way.
"James, knock it off!" Brock calls out.
"Yeah! Leave it alone!" Mew says.
The Aron then calls out.
"What now?" Everyone asks.
Right on cue, more Aron drops down from the ceiling.
Mew cries out, "A whole pack of Aron!"
"Scary enough for you now, James?!" Brock cries out.
James just screams. The Aron pack charges, prompting the group to run for it. Meanwhile, the stranger keeps searching before finding the hole that Mew's group fell into
"What's that?" The man asks.
The stranger and Aron rush over to investigate.
"Looks like someone's fallen."
Aron gets his attention
The man asks, "What is it?"
Aron points down the hole
"Yeah, something's going on down there," The man says and gets up, "Okay, let's find out!"
The stranger and his Aron jump down the hole.
Meanwhile, Mew and her group keep running.
"I don't deserve this!" James cries out.
Mew and Brock shout, "Yes, you do!"
"We'll discuss it later!" James panics.
They soon come to a split.
"Hey, look at that!" Brock calls out.
"Right! I'll go first," James cries out.
But Mew runs past him, "Coming though!"
Mew and Brock soon climb through the tunnel. James looks back, screams at the sight of the Aron pack, and quickly follows after the others. Meanwhile, Max's group ends up finding a waterfall
"Wow! I wasn't expecting to find a waterfall down here," Max says.
"It's amazing," Tomo says.
"Pika." (Pretty.) Pikachu says.
"Eevee!" (Lovely) Eevee says.
Meowth looks at the left, "Da breeze smells like it's coming from ovah dere."
They all look left and see a root leading up to the top of the waterfall.
"That's great! I bet that root leads to a hole that goes up a level!" Tomo says.
And Max says, "Yeah! The wind must be coming from an opening back there and flowing out this way."
"So, if we can make it up dere, we can make it outta here!" Meowth says.
"Right! Let's go check it out!" Max says.
Soon, the group heads to the vines.
Meanwhile, Jessie was still trying to squeeze her way through the hole.
"Are you sure that you were calling the right person heavy?" May asks.
"The hole must be too small for an adult to squeeze through," Jen says.
Jessie shouts, "I heard all that! Don't just sit there, give me a push!"
"Okay!" Molly says, and pulls Jessie.
Jessie cries out in pain, "Ow! I said push! Don't pull me!"
Molly looks at the girls and they nod.
"Like this?" May asks.
Soon, everyone pushes.
Jessie cries out, "Ouch! Gentle! What's the matter with you?"
May pushes more lightly, "How's this?"
"You gotta put more umph into it than that!" Jessie shouts.
"Then, here! "May and Jen say as they push as hard as they can.
"Ouch! You're both hurting me on purpose! Jessie cries out.
"And on that note, we give up!" May says.
Soon, rumbling is felt.
"Uh oh," May says.
"Huh?" Jessie responds and looks up.
A Loudred falls through the cave roof and right in front of Jessie, frightening her before it leaped over her head and ran off before Jessie fell back down the hole as the floor gave way)
"Jessie, are you okay?" May calls out.
Jen looks up, "Well, you made the hole bigger."
Suddenly, they hear, "Aron!"
The group looks up to see a wild Aron, and it is smaller than a normal sized one.
May smiles, "Aww, so cute!"
Meanwhile, the stranger and Aron find spots in the ceiling that look like something had fallen out
"Someone awakened the Aron! We have to get to higher ground, but how?" The stranger says, and turns to his Pokemon, "Aron, let's go!"
Aron agrees.
Meanwhile, Max and his group are climbing up the vine.
Max shrugs, "We're barely halfway!"
But that's no reason to stop!" Tomo says.
"He's right!" Meowth says, "Don't tell me you're giving up already! I've really had it wit you kids today, always moaning and complaining about tings! Same as Jessie and James," And soon sits down on a branch, "Dat's right! Dey just complain and ask for Meowth's help at de end. Goes to show you, Team Rocket wouldn't be nuttin witout an all-star player like me leading da way."
Meowth turns to Meowth, "Meowth, I've been wondering about something for a while."
Meowth looks up, "Fire away."
"If you're a Pokémon, how come you can talk?" Max asks.
Then turns to Tomo, "Same with you and Mew, how can you both talk to Pokemon, and understand them?"
"The truth is I don't know. It's been a mystery for Mew and I for a long time," Tomo says.
Hearing Max about his question, Meowth says, "Ah! I'm glad you asked. It was a day just like any udder day as I wandered trough da streets of da lonely city, knowing nobody and nuttin but hunger and solitude. Dat's when I saw dis classy dame in a window and I fell in love," Meowth remembers the day he met the former love of his life, Meowzie, "I struggled to show her my love and devotion, but trouble was, she didn't understand me, so I had to loin how to talk using human speech."
As Meowth talks, the others continue to climb up until a pebble landed on his head.
Meowth looks up and sees them climbing, "When you ask a question, you should wait for dat person's answer!"
"You're not a person, you're a Pokémon, and your story's way too long, so we need to get going," Max says.
Pikachu and Eevee call out in their language, "See ya!"
"Den wait for me!" Meowth cries out and climbs up after them.
Meanwhile, Mew and her group are exhausted after the Aron chase
"This has become a nightmare," Mew says.
"We're so lost," James says.
"Well, since we climbed up that shaft, we should be on a higher level," Brock says.
Brock looks up ahead and sees one of his markers, "Look at that!"
Everyone rushes up.
"Alright! Brock, it's your marker!" Mew says.
James turns to Brock, ""Wait, you did this?"
"Let's go back to where we first split up!" Mew says.
"This way!" Brock says.
"Let's go!" James says.
The group runs down the left-hand path.
"Hello? Anyone here?" The group calls out.
But then everyone falls in a hole screaming. Just then, the stranger and his Aron arrive on the scene.
"Huh? This hole has got even bigger than before," The strange says.
Meanwhile, Max's group found themselves in a chasm, with the open sky above them.
"Whoa!" Max says, amazed.
"So cool," Tomo says.
"Here's where dat breeze was comin from," Meowth says, "But how are we supposed to climb up dose walls?"
Soon, Pikachu and Eevee pick up another scent.
Pikachu says, "Pika Pikachu!" (Someone's been here, and they headed that way!)
"What is it, Pikachu?" Max asks.
"Pikachu's saying someone came down dis tunnel headin in dat direction," Meowth says.
"Hey, I betcha it's Steven!" Max says.
"Let's go," Tomo says.
Meanwhile, May's group was wandering around.
"Are you sure this is the right way?" Jessie asks.
"We should be on the next level," May says.
"Ar Aron," (You're right) Aron says with a nod.
May says, "You're really sweet.
Aron smiles.
They soon see a light at the end of the tunnel.
"See that?" May says.
"Yahoo!" Jessie cheers.
"It's a light!" Jen says.
"We're free!" Molly happily says.
"I knew my skills would get us out of here! I'm too important to rot in a cave! Team Rocket's nothing without me!" Jessie says.
However, they end up falling down the same hole Mew's group went down. Meanwhile, Mew's group were running away from the Aron again.
"We gotta get up to a higher level!" Mew cries out.
"Where's that last shaft we climbed up?" James asks.
"If we knew that, we'd be running to it!" Brock says.
May's group cries out, "Not again!"
Soon, May's group came crashing down on Mew' group.
Everyone exclaims, "YOU?!"
The Aron pack quickly makes their move, causing everyone to panic.
Meanwhile, Max's group kept running
"Eevee!" (This way!) Eevee says.
"Da scent is gettin' stronger!" Meowth says.
Soon, Max sees someone ahead, "Hey, look!"
Who they see is the stranger and his Aron
The stranger soon find them, "So. We finally caught up with you all. Are you lost?"
"We are. Is your name Steven?" Tomo replies.
The strange nods to confirm it, "Yes, it is."
"My sister and the rest of our friends are still lost down here," Max explains, "Steven, do you think you can find them?"
"Hey! What about my friends?" Meowth cries out.
"Pika Pika." (You must help us!) Pikachu says.
"Ah. So that must be why the Aron are agitated," Steven says.
"There are Aron in this cave?" Tomo asks.
"What are Aron?" Max asks.
Steven begins to explain, "There are wild Aron living in this cave and they've been making noises like something's bothering them. Your friends and family may be in danger if we don't move fast."
"Right!" Max says.
"Pikachu!" (Then let's go!) Pikachu says.
Soon, everyone runs down the tunnel with Steven taking the lead.
"You sure you know the way, Steven?" Tomo asks.
"I've been exploring these caves for months, so I know them inside out," Steven answers.
Meowth soon screams at what's ahead. They all come to a stop to see an opening on the floor.
"Why'd you take us here? We can't get across dis!" Meowth panics.
But Steven looks down, "Just take a look down there, everyone."
Everyone soon hears something
"Pika?" (Hear that?) Pikachu replies.
"I hoid dat," Meowth says.
Max calls out, "May!"
"Mew!" Tomo calls out.
As Max and Tomo shout the girls' name, it echoes across the cave as her and her group stop and hear his voice
"Hey, it's Max!" May says.
"And Tomo!" Jen says.
Jessie also says, "And Meowth!"
"Are you guys okay?" Mew asks.
"Look who we found!" Tomo calls out.
"It's Steven!" Max says.
"So, you're Steven?" Mew asks.
"Yes," Steven says.
Soon, the Aron pack approaches
"Help! It's them!" James panics.
May looks to the Aron in her arms, "Um Aron, do you think you can stop them?"
Aron answers as it shakes its head.
"She said no, there's too many, and they're too mad," Mew says.
Steven then calls out, "Listen! Settle down and listen to me! Keep moving forward than go right! Then turn left at the next corner where you'll find a waterfall. That's where we'll meet up!"
"Okay!" Mew says.
The group runs as the Aron pack follows.
However, trouble was right near Steven's group)
Max turns to Steven, "Did you know everyone would come this way?"
"No, but I had a feeling that Aron would," Steven answers and turns to his Aron, "Let's go, Aron."
Aron agrees, knowing what they had to do.
"Grab on to me!" Steven says.
Max, Tomo, Eevee, Pikachu, and Meowth do so. Then Steven along with Aron jump across the gap.
Meanwhile, Mew and the others soon find the waterfall.
"There it is!" Mew says.
"Wonder how a waterfall got here," May says.
"We have more important things to worry about!" Jessie says.
"Like those Aron!" James panics.
The Aron pack closes in, causing everyone to either panic or brace for impact
Suddenly, Steven calls out, "Aron, stop! Be calm!"
Some of the gang look up and see Steven up on the ledge, along with everyone else, but the Aron continue to charge
"Didn't work," Brock says.
"It's all over!" May cries out.
The Aron pack closes in. Soon, the Aron in May's arm jumps out and performs a powerful roaring attack.
"Aron!" May says, surprised.
Steven then calls out, "Go, Aron! Roar!"
Steven's Aron joins May's Aron friend and roar brings the whole pack to a stop.
Steven calls out, "These are good people, go back to your roosts. It's okay."
The Aron pack does so.
James is relieved, "They're leaving."
Amazed, Brock says, "Steven can control wild Aron!"
That's... awesome," Mew says.
May sees her Aron friend walking towards her.
May kneels and pet it, "Thanks for helping us. That was powerful."
The Aron pack is out of sight in no time before Team Rocket reunites
"Meowth! You're okay! I'm so happy!" James happily says.
The whole trio cries tears of joy
Mew giggles, "James, I thought you didn't like them."
"You, too, Jessie," May replies.
"And you, Meowth," Max says.
Then Jessie says, "Hey, let's recite the motto to celebrate!"
James and Meowth agree, "Yeah!"
"Who are these people?" Steven asks.
"Regrettably, you're about to find out," Tomo says.
And with that, Team Rocket performs their motto.
Jessie:
Here goes! Prepare for trouble when you're lost in a cave!
James:
Make it double if it's us you save!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation!
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation!
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie:
Jessie!
James:
James!
Jessie:
Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!
Meowth:
Dat's right!
Wobbuffet:
Woooobbuffet! (End of scene!)
Steve was just confused by the whole thing. Mew and the others are still dumbfounded.
Mew says, "Steven, those three are Team Rocket."
"They're the ones to blame for the hole," Brock says.
"And try to capture our Pokemon too!" Tomo says.
Jessie then calls out, "Go, Seviper!"
And Seviper comes out.
James also calls out, "You, too, Cacnea!
Cacnea comes out, but hugs James, instead.
"No, not me, them!" James panics.
"Pikachu, Eevee, Quick Attack!
Pikachu and Eevee charge.
"Let's go!" May and Brock say, ready to help.
But Steven shouts, "Hold on!"
Everyone immediately stops what they're doing.
"The Pokémon in this cave have all lived here peacefully for generations!" Steven says.
"Oh right," Mew says.
"He looks like he could be angry?" Jessie says.
James nods.
And Steven confronts them, "Then you come in creating problems and stir them all up, it's just wrong! I'll face you."
Everyone is shocked by Steven's decision to challenge Team Rocket alone.
Then Steven calls out, "I choose you, Aggron!"
Aggron comes out. Aggron is a huge, bipedal Pokémon. It primarily has a crusty gray exoskeleton, with plates of silver armor adorned. The armor on its head has two pairs of holes with horns protruding from the foremost holes. Its forehead plating extends past its upper jaw in a small point. It has sky-blue eyes, and two nostril-like holes on the tip of its upper jaw. On the rim of its mouth are several pointed, fang-like protrusions and the nape of its neck and back have gray-silver armor sections. It has wide, blunt spikes on its shoulders and gray-silver bands on its arms and legs. Its hands and feet each have three claws. It has a thick, long, black tail that it can swing at enemies.
"Look at that Aggron!" Max says.
"Wow. It's really big," May says,
Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dextette says, "Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon. Aggron is the final evolution of Aron. A Steel and Rock Type. It shows no mercy to anyone who disturbs its habitat."
Jessie panics, "We were right!"
"He WAS angry! James cries out.
Then Stevne calls out the attack, "Hyper Beam!"
Aggron launches the attack.
"That plan…" Jessie sheepishly says.
Then James says, sheepishly, "That digging plan…"
"Had holes in it," Meowth adds, sheepishly.
Aggron launches the attack and lands, sending them soaring out of the side of the cave.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket cries out.
"Woooobbuffet!" (At light speed!) Wobbuffet says.
"Good work, Aggron," Steven says, and recalls Aggron.
"Mr. Stone was right!" Brock says.
Max nods, "He's good."
"So that's Steven," Mew says.
Aron soon digs in the pile of dirt left behind by Team Rocket's blast off before letting Steven know it found something.
Steven walks over, "What's the matter, Aron?" And looks and finds what it found, "Oh, okay!"
What Aron found, was a Fire Stone.
"Well done, Aron," Steven says and pulls out the Fire Stone.
Everyone rushes to see
"Steven, what is that?" Tomo asks.
"A Fire Stone, what I've been searching for for so long!" Steven says.
"Amazing!" Molly says.
"A Fire Stone?" May asks.
"Yes, it's one of several stones that allow specific Pokémon to evolve. This stone can be used to evolve a Growlithe into an Arcanine," Steven says.
"Or help a Vulpix evolve into a Ninetales," Brock says.
"That's right. And also, Eevee evolves into Flareon when using a Fire Stone," Max adds.
Steven then stands up, "Yep. That's correct."
Max simply chuckle over the praise
"Thanks for helping us all out when we needed it, Steven," Mew says.
"Nah. It was no problem at all. I oughta thank you for helping me find this Fire Stone. By the way, how's my father doing?" Steven says.
"He's just fine. And he really helped me out a lot," Max says.
"That's good," Steven says.
Later that evening, Steven is preparing to head out on his boat.
Steven says, "This is an inlet on the far side of the island. You can see there's lots of unspoiled nature here. It'll be a perfect spot for you to do your Pokémon training."
"Great! Thank you for everything," Mew says.
"Steven, are you planning to leave already?" May asks.
"Yes. Now that I've found a Fire Stone, I'm gonna travel around searching for other rare stones," Steven says.
The sail unfurls and Steven sails away
Steven calls out, "Take care, everyone! Good luck to you all!"
"Thank you, Steven!" Tomo calls out.
"You take care, too, Steven!" Mew calls out.
Everyone calls out, "See ya!"
The Pokemon happily call out in their language, "See ya!"
May feels something nudging her leg, and looks down to see her Aron friend.
"Hey Aron, what are you doing?" May asks.
Aron happily smiles to May.
"Hey May, I think Aron whats to go with you," Max says.
"Really?" May replies, and turns to Aron, "You want to come with me?"
Aron nods.
May smiles, "Oh course you can. I promise we'll be good friends," May then tap her Pokeball on it, and with a few shakes and pings, May catches Aron."
"Alright, I caught Aron," May says.
"Congrats May," Mew says.
Then says, "Now then, let's go do some training."
Everyone agrees.
Having found the perfect spot for Pokémon training, May catches a new Aron friend, Mew and the others are ready to do some training before making their way to their next destination.
