Pokemon: Jirachi: Wish Maker Part 2
Meanwhile, Mew and the others are settling in either a tent or the bus and help get Jirachi acquainted with everyone. Amaura licks Jirachi's cheek, making it giggle.
Then Max asks, "Hey, Jirachi, can you really grant wishes?"
"Wishes?" Jirachi questions.
"Let's test it out. I've got to figure out what to wish for," Max says.
Then Max asks, "Do you think I can try, too?"
"Let me make a wish," Tomo says.
"Me too," Jen says.
"Hey, I was first," Max says.
Then Mew suggests, "I think it will be a good idea to start with something small."
"Good point," Max says and thinks.
Then he has an idea, "Candy! I wish for lots of Candy!
"That's a dumb wish," May says.
"No, it's not," Max says.
"Candy?" Jirachi replies.
Then Jirachi levitates and starts making three tags on its head light up temporarily.
"So, where're the snacks?" Tomo asks.
"It didn't work," May says.
"Yeah, I don't see any snacks anywhere," Brock says.
"There's no such thing as someone being able to grant your wishes. I knew it!" Max says.
But then May says, "Then how come your mouth was watering?"
Max just sweat drops.
Then Mew spots something on Max' lap, "Hey, look!"
Everyone looks and sees a bag of B , potato chips.
Jirachi then says, "Candy! Candy Candy Candy!"
In no time, Jirachi starts making more and more candy and other snacks.
"Candy!" Jen and Tomo call out in shock.
"His wish!" May exclaims.
"It came true!" Brock says.
"Way to go, Jirachi!" Max says.
Back in the festival grounds, it's revealed that Jirachi was making all the snacks from the snack bar disappear and reappear in the bus.
"What's happening?!" The vendor explains.
Back in the bus, the bus was practically full of snacks.
"Wow! Jirachi, thanks for all the snacks!" Max says and happily laughs.
Tomo then comes out of the pile, "Hey, Jirachi, think you can grant my wish next?"
Max and Jirachi look at Tomo in surprise before May pokes her head out of the pile)
"No, wait, Jirachi! It's my turn!" May says.
Brock then comes out of the pile, "I'd wish for lots of girls!"
"You're after me, Brock!" May says.
Tomo says, "And you're both after me!"
Mew, Jen, Molly, and the Pokemon come out of the pile.
"Hey Max, maybe you can get Jirachi to stop! There's too much candy and snacks! They'll flood the bus!" Mew cries out.
The three of them soon start fighting over Jirachi, causing the others outside the bus to wonder what was going on.
Soon, the backdoors of the bus burst open and all the snacks and the group spill out before Butler and Diane show up just as the group pull themselves out of the pile of snacks. Mew and the others are able to get out of the pile one by one.
"Where's Jirachi?" Butler asks, worried.
Max comes out, "Jirachi's right here!" and pulls it out
"Right here! Right here!" Jirachi happily cheers.
Butler sighs in relief.
Diane asks, "What happened?"
"I wished that I had lots and lots of candy, and then Jirachi granted my wish for me," Max says.
"I think it over did it," Jen says.
Diane picks up one of the bags, "Those are from the snack bar in the park."
"That's because Jirachi has the power to teleport things," Butler says.
"So jirachi can use Teleport, huh," Mew says, growing wary.
"Then these snacks are all…" Brock says, shocked.
May soon resurfaced, "Free at last!" She then opens and eats a candy bar before looking around, sheepishly, "What's the matter?"
Back at the snack bar, the vendor says in tears, "I'm ruined!"
Back at the camp, Mew sheepishly says, "Long story short, Jirachi teleported all the snacks from the park to the van."
It doesn't take long for May to get the picture and is not happy, "I knew something was funny," Then turns to Max, furious, "Max, this was all your fault with your stupid wish!"
"So what am I supposed to do now?" Max asks.
"Jirachi could put all the snacks back where they came from," Brock says.
"That's it," May says, and turns to Jirachi, "Jirachi, get rid of the problem."
"Get rid, of problem? Okay!" Jirachi says.
He then uses his powers and instead of making the candy disappear, he made May disappear.
"May!" Molly cries out.
"She's gone!" Tomo says, shocked.
"Disappeared!" Brock says.
"Not good!" Jen adds.
Max turns to Jirachi, "Jirachi, what did you do with my sister?"
Suddenly, they hear May's voice, "Help! Help me!"
Everyone turns to the pile of snacks and finds May's legs moving around as she tries to free herself.
May cries out in a muffle, "Someone get me out of here!"
"In there!" Max says.
Mew and Brock climb the pile and start to free May.
Suddenly, Jirachi says, "Sleepy. Getting very sleepy," And falls asleep soon after.
"Jirachi?" Max says, confused.
Then turns to Butler, "Is that how long he stays awake?"
But Butler says, "He's just recharging his energy. Jirachi won't hibernate again until the comet is gone next week."
Max sighs in relief, "Thank goodness."
"That wasn't very funny," May says, annoyed, "Now what are we going to do with all these snacks?" as Mew and Brock help her out.
"We're going to have to carry it all back ourselves," Brock says.
"We have no choice," Mew says.
May deflates, "Boy."
Morning soon comes and it's the second day of the festival. Inside the van Max watches Jirachi sleep before he wakes up.
"Good morning, Jirachi. How'd you sleep?" Max replies.
Jirachi levitates upward before bumping against the ceiling.
"You okay?" Max asks, worried.
Jirachi soon lands and looks at Max, "Max."
"Yep, that's me," Max says.
"Wish Maker!" Jirachi says and floats on to the top of Max's head and giggles.
Outside, Tomo and Brock come from Butler's tent, both in Jessie's and James' previous disguises.
"Ta-da! What do you think, guys?" Tomo asks.
"Skwovet!" (You look great!) Skwovet answers.
"You both look great," diane says.
"And you look great, too, Diane," Brock says.
Max and Jirachi soon run up, "Hey, guys. I'm gonna play with Jirachi!" and with that, he runs off with Jirachi not far behind.
May calls out, "Don't go too far, and come back before the show starts!"
"Don't worry!" Max says.
And Jirachi says, "Don't worry! Don't worry!"]
Everyone can't help but smile to see the strong friendship the two have already.
"Max is sure in a great mood," Tomo says.
"He and Jirachi are already best friends," Brock says.
"Like brothers," Mew says.
May happily smiles.
Somewhere at the park Max and Jirachi enjoying a ride on the Kamikaze Wingull ride, then they enjoy a spin on the Poké-tilt-a-Whirl, getting themselves dizzy in the process, before they take a ride on the Ferris wheel. But while they ride the Ferris wheel, Team Rocket spies from afar.
"Jirachi! Hey, that's the Pokémon that they say can grant wishes!" Jessie says.
"And it can teleport stuff, too," Meowth says.
Then James says, "Then my first wish should be that it doesn't teleport away from us when we capture it."
Irate, Jessie shouts, "Could you have said something even more ridiculous than that?! What if Jirachi grants us just one wish only?! You'd waste it on that?!"
Meowth agrees, "I didn't even think about dat yet! You might be right! We might only get one wish and dat's it! We're gonna need da poifect wish!"
Then Jessie has an idea, "I got it! What if we just wish for a hundred more wishes? It's genius."
"But Jessie, what if Jirachi teleports away from us after the first wish?" James says.
"I wish I could teleport away from da two of yous!" Meowth says.
The three continue bickering and debating on what to wish for.
Later in the evening, outside of the festival grounds, Absol is up on a rock overlooking it.
Meanwhile, people are exiting Butler's tent.
"Hope you enjoyed the show!" Mew says.
"Thank you very much!" Brock says.
Inside, May ends up hitting a 2x4 with a lighting rig she's rolling around and nearly causes it to tip over before she tries to stop it.
"Help me, Max!" May cries out.
Max drops the box he's carrying, "Okay!"
Max soon helps May push the rig.
Jirachi flies to Max, "Max. Let's go play some more."
"Just a second!" Max says.
But Jirachi says, "Bet you can't catch me!" ans takes Max's glasses.
"What are you doing?! Wait!" Max panics.
Jiarchi giggles as it floats away while Max lets go of the rig and chases his friend, causing the rig, and May, to fall backwards.
Jirachi continues flying away as he calls out, "You can't catch me! You can't catch me! You can't catch me! You can't catch me! You can't catch me!"
"Give it back! Gimme my glasses! Come back here, I'm going to get you!" Max calls out.
May is seen crawling underneath the collapsed curtain until the others arrived as she finally managed to crawl out.
"Whoa! What a mess!"" Jen says.
"May, what happened?" Mew asks.
"Jirachi happened!" May answers.
May just lightly growls as Max continues to try and catch Jirachi.
"Here I am!" Jirachi calls out as he giggles.
"Jirachi!" Max calls out.
He soon jumps and grabs his friend, "Gotcha!"
"Gotcha! Gotcha!" Jirachi happily says.
Max then puts his glasses on and says, "Come here!" and nabs and cuddles Jirachi.
The two happily laugh until they hear the sound of air hissing before they look up and see a slit hole in the tent.
Soon, they both hear the Absol before it breaks the mirror that Max and Jirachi were standing in front of. It then walks towards Max and Jirachi with its horn glowing.
"An Absol!" Max cries out and runs off.
The Absol attacks once again, bringing Max and Jirachi to a stop before they climb up a set of steps up to a chair, causing them to be cornered by the Absol before the others arrive.
"What is that?!" Molly panics.
"That's an Absol!" Mew says.
"They say that an Absol appears only before a great tragedy!" Butler says.
Absol attacks again, only for Max to fall back onto the trick chair and tumble backwards onto some supplies before running again while Absol continues to attack.
"Max!" Max cries out.
The group runs after Max while the boy and Jirachi run onto the stage, with Absol not far behind. Soon, Absol has Max and Jirachi cornered.
"Torchic, I need you!" May says, and calls out her Pokemon.
Torchic comes out.
May calls out, "Torchic, Ember!"
Tochic fires the attack, but the Absol uses its horn to defend itself.
Mew calls out, "Pikachu! Eevee! Use Thunderbolt1'
Pikachu and Eevee run onto the stage and the attack launches, sending Absol flying back, only for it to recover in mid-air and land on all four paws.
Suddenly, Jirachi says, "Absol is here. For me.
Jirachi soon teleports Pikachu, Eevee, and Torchic into the sky above the tent before they start to fall and, thankfully, land safely on the top of the tent.
Back inside, Absol turns its attention towards the humans.
"Think it hates clowns?" Brock asks.
Absol charges at them, but Butler activates a trap door in the stage, sending the Absol falling before the door closes.
"A good magician always has a trap door standing by," Butler says
With the press of the same button that sprung the trap door, a cage rises up out from the stage, revealing Absol inside it.
Butler then makes a Pokeball appear in the palm of his hand, "Final trick…"
And soon his Kirlia comes out.
Butler calls out, "Kirlia, Hypnosis."
Kirlia soon puts the Absol to sleep while Butler takes a bow before Pikachu, Eevee, and Torchic rush up to their trainers.
"Pikachu! Eevee!" Mew calls out.
"Torchic, you're alright!" May says.
"I wonder why Jirachi teleported them away," Jen says.
"And why was Absol attacking us?" Tomo asks.
Max soon answers, "Jirachi said Absol came for him."
"Is it possible that they know each other?" May asks.
"Unlikely, since Jirachi's been asleep for a thousand years," Brock answers.
Max turns to Jirachi, "What can you tell us?"
"I am, so sleepy," Jirachi says and soon falls asleep.
Later that night, everyone is asleep, save for May who sneaks out of their tents to the same spot they were at the night before to gaze at the Millennium Comet.
"With all the excitement, we almost forgot," May says, and brings out her charm, "Millennium Comet, won't you please make our wishes come true?"
She then folds over the two-star piece of their respective wishing stars and holds it close to their heart/core.
Suddenly, May hears something and when she look over to the bus, May find Butler stepping out
"What's Butler doing?" May wonders.
Butler soon enters his tent, with Jirachi in hand, before placing it on some sort of machine with Diane looking at Absol, now awake, and with Dusclops standing by.
"I think Absol's here to take Jirachi back to Forina," Diane says.
"Probably," Butler replies.
And Diane says, "He belongs there, we should've never taken him away."
"I know what I'm doing," Butler says.
But Diane says in concern, "Butler, please listen to me. I have a sinking feeling that something terrible is going to happen."
"I've worked so hard and waited so long for this day," Butler says, and holds up a button, "Now, it's showtime!"
With the press of a button, Jirachi is lifted up by the machine, waking him while also trapping him. Jirachi finds himself not being able to move.
"When you see the comet with your true eye, you will absorb its tremendous energy and help make my own wish finally come true!" Butler says and holds up a container with a fragment of something inside before a flashback begins.
Flashback:
In the past, it revealed that Butler used to be a member of Team Magma in the science division. There, he is presenting the similar machine he is using on Jirachi now.
Butler announces, "Esteemed council of Team Magma, observe this fossilized remnant of Groudon, dated to when it last awoken, many thousands of years ago. I have invented a device that will generate a living, breathing Groudon right here, right now from this one small piece!"
He places the Groudon fossil in the machine, and says, "I give you, a Groudon!" pulls the switch.
The machine comes to life and red energy beams fire to the center of a diamond, starting to create a protoplasmic being before the machine starts to malfunction. In no time, it falls apart and the protoplasmic being fades away.
Magma councilman soon says, "So that's a 'living, breathing Groudon? I must say, it's not quite as big as I imagined."
"I need a more powerful energy source to spark the regeneration process!" Butler says.
Another Magma councilman says, "Enough of your mumbo-jumbo!"
Butler angrily picks up the Groudon fossil, but gets burned from the heat while the council laughs.
One of the councils says, "We'll find Groudon ourselves!"
And another says, "I'm sure our esteemed leader, Maxie, will agree with me when I say that you are no longer welcome within Team Magma!"
Anger and resentment, Butler says, "That's just fine!" And picks up the fossil, "This isn't the last you'll hear from me!"
Flashback Ends:
"Team Magma made a mockery of my work, but finally, I'll show them!" Butler says, and places the fossil into a machine while Diane watches on, worried.
"Butler…" Diane says, expressing his concern.
Butler then says to Jirachi, "Now, Jirachi, bring me the energy that I need! Open your Millennium Eye and absorb the comet's power!"
"I don't want to!," Jirachi says.
And Butler says, "I'm afraid you don't have a choice. Dusclops, Psychic!"
Dusclops uses the attack that greatly strains Jirachi, forcing its middle eye to open slightly while Absol tries to bust out of the cage. All the while, Jirachi was screaming in pain.
Back in the bus, May is waking up the rest of the gang.
She calls out, "Mew! Brock! Everyone! Wake up! Wake up!"
That causes the group to wake up.
"Huh? What?" Tomo asks.
"May, what's going on?" Mew asks.
"Jirachi is gone!" May says.
"Huh?" Max reacts and looks under his bed and then out the window, worried, seeing that Jirachi is gone.
Max calls out, "Jirachi!" and runs to the front of the bus, calling out, "Jirachi! Jirachi!"
Back in the tent, Jirachi's struggles end up being in vain as a beam of light or energy shoots out from its Millennium Eye and up towards the comet. Outside, everyone witnesses the beam of light coming out of the tent.
"What's that?" Jen asks.
"I don't know!" Brock says.
Soon, the beam fades before a blast comes from the comet itself followed by a beam of purple energy coming down from the comet before it strikes Jirachi, destroying the machine and blasting Butler back the gang arrives.
"What in the world?" Mew asks.
"What happened?" May asks.
The dust clears to reveal a battered Jiarchi.
Seeing him hurt, Max cries out, "Jirachi!" and runs to him before picking him up, "Jirachi. I've got you," And checks on his friend.
Jen rushes over, "Is Jirachi, okay?"
"He looks badly hurt," Max says, worried.
Behind him, Butler and Dusclops get up.
"What energy! Now I just have to harness it!" Butler says.
Max turns to Butler and demands, "What have you done to Jirachi!"
"I'll take care of it," Butler says.
But Max refuses, "No way!"
Diane rushes over to Butler, begging, "Butler! It's not too late to stop!"
"Why would I stop? Now that I've gotten so close! Just have faith in me, Diane! I'm doing it for you!" Butler says.
But Diane expresses her distress, "It's not for me! I never wanted this!"
This shocked Butler, "Diane!"
Max runs before Butler shoves Diane away.
Butler calls out, "Dusclops, stop them, now!"
Mew calls out, "Pikachu, Eevee, Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu and Eevee quickly use their attack and it lands, forcing Dusclops to drop Max and Jirachi while Absol tries to break out of its cage.
Suddenly, Jirachi says, "I wish I was home. I wish I could go to Forina..
"Where's Forina?" Max asks, worried.
"Max! Hurry!" May calls out, takes him by the arm and runs off as Absol continues to bend the bars.
Diane then calls out, "Everyone, follow me!"
"Okay!" Brock says.
The group hurries off as they follow Diane, Pikachu and Eevee hit Dusclops with another attack before they along with Mew follow the others.
"Dusclops, after them!" Butler calls out.
But before Dusclops can do anything, Absol breaks loose and attacks before running off to ensure Jirachi's safety.
Butler then calls out, "Go, Mightyena!"
And Mightyena comes out of the Pokeball.
Meanwhile, the gang aboad the bus and rides away while Team Rocket watches from above in their balloon.
"That's Butler's bus!" James calls out.
"Yeah, but dat magician isn't inside," Meowth says.
"But Jirachi is. Very interesting," Jessie adds.
"Wooobbuffet!" (You said it!) Wobbuffet agrees.
Jessie promptly recalls Wobbuffet.
As the bus drives away, Mightyena manages to place a magnetic tracking device under the bumper.
Later, down the road….
"Jirachi said he wanted to go back to Forina?" Diane asks.
Max nods in response.
"He wants to go home. Back to where Butler found him," Diane says.
Flashback:
Diane remembers when she and Butler found the crystal cocoon Jirachi was sleeping in.
"Now that I have this, we can finally have the last laugh on Team Magma!" Butler says and laughs maniacally.
Flashback Ends:
Soon, Diane begins to explain the whole story, "Butler was once a scientist for Team Magma."
"Team Magma?" Tomo asks, shocked.
"He was working on the Groudon project," Diane adds.
"Groudon?" May questions.
"I heard about Groudon," Brock says.
"Me too. Groudon is the legendary Pokemon that can control the land and fire. It's a very powerful Pokemon," Mew says.
"Yes. And Team Magma will stop at nothing until they get their hands on Groudon, "Diane says, "Their goal is to have it expand the amount of landmass in the world for human development."
"So that's what they're going," Mew says.
"But how's Butler involved?" Jen asks.
Diane explains, "Butler tried to make them a Groudon, not a robot, but his experiment failed."
"I don't get what Jirachi has to do with all this," Max asks.
"Well, in order to power his machine, Butler needed an energy source that becomes available once every thousand years," Diane says.
"Every thousand years?" Mew wonders, but soon looks at the comet still in the sky.
"The Millennium Comet!" Jen adds.
"Jiarchi can absorb the comet's power. Butler would use this energy to make a Groudon, by draining all of the comet's power from Jirachi's body," Diane says.
"Oh no," Molly says.
"Sounds like that could really hurt Jirachi," May says.
"Yes," Diane says.
Max looks down to see Jirachi is still shivering, frightened by the experience he just went through.
Then Max asks, "Why is Butler doing this?!"
"He wants revenge, against Team Magma," Diane says.
"Well, let him get revenge some other way, we can't let him hurt Jirachi," Max says.
"Spoken like a true best friend, Max," Jen asks.
"So, what's the plan?" Brock asks.
"Jirachi said it, take him to Forina. Right, Diane?" May asks.
"Let's go," Diane says
Meanwhile, Butler tracks the bus as it drives on. With the press of a button, a blimp emerges from his van.
"Diane. I thought you of all people would understand my feelings," Butler says.
The blimp is soon ready to go.
"It's time," Butler says
The next day, the gang continues driving on their way to Forina across a very bumpy desert terrain. Everyone soon ends up hanging on to their seats and some like Max and Jirachi begin laughing due to the bumpy ride. Ultimately, the bumpy terrain causes the tracker to fall off the underside of the bumper, destroying it.
Later that night, May closes the three-star piece on their wishing stars.
"Night three," May says.
Then May walks towards the bus and tent, respectively while Brock mixes up some Pokémon food as Tomo, Jen, Molly, the Pokemon along with Max and Jirachi sleep together by the fire. Mew is also playing music on her shell flute.
May, meanwhile, enters the bus and sees Diane looking at a poster for Butler's show.
"So, what's everyone doing?" Diane asks.
"Well, Max, Jirachi, and the kids have fallen asleep," May says, and serves herself a drink.
Soon, Diane says, "Butler and I have known each other since we were kids. I knew even then that we'd always be together. He always had a way of making me smile."
Flashback:
Diane remembers when she and Butler were children.
Young Butler says, "And now, for my greatest trick!"
Butler proceeds to make a red blanket appear and take the form of a box.
"One, two, three!" Butler says and pulls the blanket off to reveal a box had appeared, amazing Diane.
But then Diane says, "Please, hold your applause, until you see, the Butterfree!"
In no time, three Butterfree come out of the box.
Young Diane happily claps, "That was really great, Butler!"
"Hey, I like that. 'The Great Butler,'" Young Butler says and laughs with glee.
Flashback ends:
"It sounds like you guys, had lots of fun," May says.
"It's a very long time since I've seen Butler laugh like he used to," Diane says. She then gets up and looks outside to some of the others.
She then says, "I just hope that once the comet leaves, the real Butler comes back, and we can get on with our lives."
As the group settle in camp, Absol watches from a rock high above the campsite. Watching over Jirachi as the group takes it back home. Like it's guarding them.
The next day, drive on, the gang arw passing through a canyon while Team Rocket follows from above. Soon, the bus gets stuck in some mud, forcing some of the gang to get out and push. Soon, the bus gets rolling, only for the pushers to get covered in mud. Jirachi shakes off the mud covering him before everyone else laughs.
Later that night, May folds up the four-star piece of their wishing stars before they look down at the gang at the bottom of the hill.
"It's all in the wrist, Max!" Mew says, and tosses a pebble across a river, making it skip across.
"Here goes," Max says, and tosses his own pebble and it manages to get to the other side of the river. He cheers, "Yeah, I did it!"
"Yay! Yay!" Jirachi cheers.
The two happily laugh and celebrate as May smiles happily before her expression turns to sadness. She looks down at her wish catcher to see the remaining three. Meaning that it's only three more nights before Jirachi has to leave them, and go back to sleep for another thousand years.
The next day, Diane, Mew and her group drive up a hill, but Max seems sad, which Jirachi notices.
Later that night, the group had stopped at a lake and May folds down the five-star pieces of their wishing stars.
"Just two nights left," May says to herself.
Suddenly, he hears Max shouts, "Cut it out, guys!"
May turns to see Max standing there before he sadly runs off with Jirachi following behind.
"Quit counting already!" Max shouts, and runs off.
Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee follow from behind.
May soon says, "Sorry."
Mew and the others reach Max and sit next to him.
Mew asks, "What's wrong, Max?"
"I just have a couple of days left with Jirachi," Max says.
"Jirachi's gonna be with you your whole life, not just a couple of days," Mew says.
"You know that's not true, Mew," Max says, in denial.
But Mew says, "You see, sometimes, friends have to go away, but a part of them stays behind with you. It's especially true when the friends are best, best friends."
Max looks at Mew, confused.
Mew smiles, "You'll remember Jirachi forever. And he's always going to be in your heart. A good friend left me, and, I miss her every day."
"Who?" Max asks.
"Misty," Mew answers.
"Misty?" Max questions.
"Yes. She was the first human person I've met when I started my journey. It was rocky, but we've become great friends and taught me lots of things, and I taught her. But she had to leave because she had to help her sisters with the gym, and from what I heard, she became an official gym leader now. I miss her every day," Mew says, and show some sadness, "But I... I know that we'll always be friends forever."
Pikachu and Eevee agree.
Max smiles and happily nods at Jirachi.
The next day, the group is driving through another canyon until they exit and come to a stop.
Diane says, "There's Forina."
"It's awesome," Mew says.
"Jirachi's home," Max says.
Everyone looks out to see an entire valley of hoodoos. The gang walk down into the valley to see Swablu and Altaria flying above. They then see a Tropius eating some fruit while some Vibrava fly by and some Nuzleaf watch from the trees.
"Do you like it?" Jirachi asks.
"What's not to like?" Tomo says.
"I love it!" Max agrees.
Later that night, the gang has set up camp and May folds up the second to last piece of their wishing stars while Max and Jirachi play in a tug-of-war with a stick
"I'm stronger than you, Max! Stronger than Max!" Jirachi calls out.
But the game ends with Jirachi accidently losing his grip and bumping into Max, prompting Ash, Tomo, Jen, Molly, Max and Jirachi to laugh before May come down.

He then removes his glasses, holds Jirachi and lays down, before immediately getting back up, "But I doubt I can sleep knowing its my last night with Jirachi," and lays back down.
He then whispers to Jirachi, "I've got it. Once they fall asleep, we'll get up and play."
Good idea," Jirachi agrees.
The two put their plan into action and pretend to fall asleep.
Soon, May starts humming her mom's lullaby. In no time, Max and Jirachi are fast asleep. Everyone continues listening to May humming as they relax. Tomo and the rest of the kids and Pokemon fall asleep. And by tomorrow night, Jirachi will go back to sleep for a long time.
