Episode 40: A Poke-BLOCK Party!
One day…
Tomo, Jen, Max, and Molly are amazed, "Wow!"
Mew and her friends have arrived just outside of Mauville City, and the sign of Mew's next gym battle. Soon enough, Mew and her friends have found a poster.
"Guys, check out this poster!" Mew says.
"It looks like an event," Jen says.
Max reads the poster, "Announcing the Trick House Contest. Winner receives a one-year supply of Pokéblock."
"That's cool," Molly says.
May is amazed, "Wow! A one-year supply of Pokéblock? How cool is that?"
"That is a good prize. It might be worth entering," Brock says.
"I guess, but what is a Trick House anyway?" Mew asks, curiously.
"Yeah. What's a trick house?" Tomo asks.
"I'm not sure, but it seems to be like a kind of fun house with traps, tricks, and other kinds of fun," Brock says.
"Sounds like fun," Molly says.
Elsewhere, Team Rocket finds a poster for the Trick House Contest.
Meowth cheers, "Yippee! A year's worth of Pokéblock!"
"I'm not a familiar with this Trick House," James says.
"That's okay. The real trick will be in the winning," Jessie says.
Wobbuffet then says, "Wobbu Wobbuffet!" (And that is by cheating!)
Soon enough, Mew and the others arrive at the large Trick House. The building is around four to five floors, and each floor wall is a different design. What's more, there is a stage in front of the building and there are so many people wanting to participate.
"So, what do we do once we enter the Trick House?" Tomo asks.
"I'm not really sure," Max answers.
Suddenly, a Whismur comes in and bumps Max from behind.
"Whoa! That's a Whismur!" Max says, amazed.
Mew says and brings out her Pokedex, "Let's check it out.
Dextette says, "Whismur, the Whisper Pokemon. A Norman Type. Whismur can become so startled by the sound of its own crying, that it will continue to cry until falling asleep from exhaustion."
"You know, it's pretty cute," May says.
Suddenly, a voice calls out, "Whismur! You shouldn't go running off on your own like that," and a girl appears.
The girl has green hair in pigtails, tied by orange beaded hair ties, blue eyes, fair skin. She wears a pink shirt that has a red ribbon on the collar area, with a white shirt underneath. And wears a yellow circle pendant around her neck. She is also wearing yellow pants, and orange sandals.
The Whismur's trainer picks up her Pokemon.
Brock says, "Hi. Does this Whismur belong to you?"
"Yes. I'm Alanna," The girl, Alanna introduces herself.
"Nice to meet you, Alanna, I'm Ashley," Mew says.
"Tomo's my name," Tomo says.
"I'm Jen," Jen says.
"I'm Molly," Molly replies.
"May," May introduces herself
"And I'm Brock," Brock says.
"Hi. I'm Max," Max says.
"Nice to meet you," Alanna says.
Then Mew asks, "Hey Alanna, do you know anything about this Trick House Contest that's about to start?"
"Of course, but the famous King of Tricks is just about to come out and he'll explain it all," Alanna says.
"King of Tricks?" Jen and Molly reply, confused.
"Amaura?" (Who's he?) Amaura asks.
Soon, music starts playing as the King of Tricks himself arises from the stage before the house. The King of Tricks is a man with wild crazy purple hair, red suit jacket with a yellow ribbon tie, red vest, and a white shirt underneath, white pants, and black boots.
King of Tricks announces, "Welcome one and welcome all! I'm your host, and the creator of the Trick House Contest! Yes, I'm you're King of Tricks! Good to see you!" and reveals his wild and crazy face with a mustache, eyebrows.
Everyone applauds.
"So that's the King of Tricks?" Mew asks.
"Pika." (Seems so.) Pikachu says.
Then the King of Tricks then explains, "Behold, my Trick House! And its chockfull of the trickiest traps I've ever devised! Just like a standard funhouse, it will take both wisdom and wit to make it all the way through! And whoever gets past all of them and reaches the exit first is the winner!"
Everyone applauds again.
"I see, so that's how it works," Brock says.
"And, let us not forget, the stupendous prize you're all playing to win! A one-year supply of delicious, nutritious Pokéblock!" the King of Tricks adds, presenting the Pokeblocks.
The audience applauds once more.
King of Tricks adds, "Enter through any door you wish. The choice is yours. So, without further ado, it's time to begin! Many will enter, only one will win! Come on, people, let's begin!" and laughs as he's lowered back under the stage.
"Whoa, he's a little different. Who is he?" May replies.
"Who knows? But he shows up and holds this contest every year," Alanna says.
"Well the trick house is fun. Let's go," Mew says.
"Yeah," The kids happily cheer.
"We're going this way," Max says, running into the right hand door.
Brock follows, "We're right behind you, Max."
"Amara and I will go with you too," Jen says, as she and Amaura follow Max and Brock.
May turns to Alanna, "Alanna, come with me."
"Okay," Alanna says.
Tomo then says, "Let's go this way."
"Yeah!" Everyone cheers.
And the group heads to the left hand door.
Soon, Team Rocket shows up in disguise.
"Liar. There isn't an age limit for this thing," Jessie says.
"But how many chances do I get to wear this?" James says.
Then Meowth says, "Enough about your wardrobe malfunction, let's just focus on da Pokéblock!
"Fine, then we'll split up," Jessie says.
"Okay!" The boys agree.
Inside the Trick House with Ash's group.
"So, Alanna, what brings you here?" Mew asks.
"I'm doing this contest today in order to improve my teamwork with Whismur," Alanna says.
"That's great, good luck," May says.
Soon, Mew notices something up ahead, "Look at that!"
"Eevee!" (Oh my!) Eevee replies.
What the group finds is a maze that is full of doors.
"So, he put the maze first this year," Alanna says.
"First? Does that mean he changes the layout every year?" Tomo asks.
"Yep," Alanna says.
"Hope we don't get lost," May says.
"We'll have to use our heads on one, and try to remember which way we went to get through the maze," Mew says.
Mew looks at one of the paths, "This one leads straight to a dead end."
"Yeah," May says.
Molly then notices one of the doors, "I wonder what these doors lead to?"
"Who knows," Mew answers.
Meanwhile, Max and his group weren't sure which way to go.
"No, this way! I'm sure of it!" Max says.
"Max, that'll just take us to the same dead end again," Brock says.
"No, I'm positive this time," Max says, and walks down the corridor, "Come on, where's your trust? Right this way!
But, as predicted, Max runs into the aforementioned dead end.
"Right behind ya," Jen replies.
"Amaura," (Another dead end.) Amaura says.
Max sighs and sweat drops, "Sorry guys."
Meanwhile, with Mew's group.
Mew walks down the halls and soon sees a path that has a dead end.
"Can't do it this way, it's a dead end," Mew says.
"Which way to go now?" Molly asks.
Just then, "King of Tricks shows up through a door behind them, "Hey there! Working hard, are we? Keep in mind, this is much, much more than a maze. Oh, yes it is. Take this door. Once you open it…" He does so and runs into a giant sponge, causing everyone to sweat drop, "You'd find your young selves faced with a fabulous wet sponge room. You take the plunge and make the lunge, you'll find the sponge!" making everyone dumbfounded about the joke.
The goofy man laughs as he leaves through the door he entered.
"Okay, so, is the King of Tricks really as crazy as he acts?" May says.
"Crazy? No, he's eccentric!" Alanna says.
"Well, at least we know about the doors," Mew says.
As the group heads down one corridor, Meowth and James spot them.
"Well, well, twoip," Meowth says.
"With a Whismur for a sidekick like that Chamo thing," James says.
Meowth: I just hatched me a taught. We'll make Whismur a present for da boss," Meowth says.
"Yes. Details, please," James says.
A fantasy scenario begins.
Meowth explains, "Imagine da boss waking up in da morning, but instead of an alarm clock, he hears the sound of his Whismur crying out. It'll be da poifect way to start each and every day. And when it's time for lunch, Whismur will be his lunch bell, too. The sound of that Whismur will really perk up his appetite and he will say da following; 'Because Meowth and his friends brought me this Whismur, they deserve either promotions or expense accounts.'"
Fantasy scenario ends.
"I love that plan!" James happily says.
"Of course! But we gotta catch dat Whismur, foist!" Meowth says.
"Righty-o!" James says.
Meanwhile, back to Mew's group, they are trying to find their way out. They decide to split up and check some of the paths.
Mew calls out, "Hey, May! Tomo! Alanna! Any luck over there?"
Behind the wall on Mew's right, May and Tomo were at a dead end, while Alanna and the rest are at fork in the road behind the wall on their right
"Nope, no luck," Tomo says.
May calls out, "Hey, Alanna, guys, what about you?"
"Well, there's a fork in the path over here," Alanna says.
Then turns to her Whismur, "Whismur, go that way!"
"Whismur Whis! ("Okay, Alanna.") Whismur says, and goes down the left path.
Alanna takes the right.
But as Whismur marched along, James snatched it and ran off with Meowth.
James and Meowth cheer, "We got the Whismur!"
Elsewhere, Alanna is calling for Whismur.
Alanna calls out, "Whismur? What?"
However, she finds an empty path and Whismur is not in sight.
Alanna calls out, "Hey, Whismur! Where are you?"
Suddenly, she hears May's voice, "Alanna?"
Alanna turns back to see Mew and the others running up.
"What's up?" Tomo asks.
"Is something wrong?" Molly asks.
"Whismur's disappeared!" Alanna answers.
The group gasps in shock.
"What happened?" Mew asks.
"We split up to find the way out of the maze, but when I decided to go back to get it, it was gone," Alanna says.
"Let's go look for it!" Mew says.
"Yeah!" May and the others agree.
Unknown to them Jessie overheard them as they spoke.
"Huh?" Jessie questions, and spots them.
"Whismur?" May calls out.
"Whismur!" Mew calls out.
The Pokemon also call out.
Jessie soon spots Pikachu and Eevee, "It's my favorite Pokemon!" and giggles, "Say, why don't we just catch it right now?"
Jessie sneaked towards Pikachu and Eevee while laughing softly
"Pika?" (Whismur?) Pikachu calls out.
"Eevee!" (Whismur!) Eevee calls out.
Jessie was almost inches away from snatching Pikachu and Eevee, until…
"Pi?" (Huh?) Pikachu responds.
Jessie shrieks and swiftly backs up.
Suddenly, they begin to hear a strange sound.
"What's that?" Molly asks.
"It sounds like, music. And it's…" Mew says, and starts to feel drowsy, "Familiar…"
Sleepy, Alanna says, "All of a sudden, I feel so sleepy."
"A little nap sounds good," May says, sleepy.
"Me too," Tomo says, tired.
Soon, everyone, including Jessie, collapses and falls into a deep sleep. Then something approaches them and has a black marker. A little later, Mew, Tomo, and Molly wake up from their rest.
"That was a good nap," Tomo says.
"Yeah," Mew says, and turns to the others. She exclaims in shock, "What happened to you guys' face?!"
Tomo, Molly, May, and Alanna look at each other to find themselves having scribbles on their faces. May laughs at Alanna's face, while she, in turn, was laughing at May's. Soon, everyone wipes the black markers off their faces.
"How did we get scribbles on our faces?" Tomo asks.
"I have no idea," Molly answers.
"Come on guys, let's go find Whismur," Mew says.
As the group moves along, Jessie snoozes away with scribbles on her face too.
Later, Jessie and Meowth reunite with her.
"We've got Whismur, let's get out of this maze," Jessie says, as she cleans the scribbles off her face.
"We're fourth and goal and ready to roll!" James says.
"Yeah, straight for dat Pokéblock!" Meowth says.
Meowth dashes forward, but runs smack into a wall
Jessie sweat drops and says, "Oops."
"Well, that's not the route I would've chosen," James says, sweat drops.
Meanwhile, Mew's group reunites with Brock's group and they explain the situation.
"Maybe there's some place you haven't looked yet," Brock says.
"I looked everywhere and no Whismur," Alanna says, sadly.
"I hope Whismur isn't Poke-napped," Jen says, worried.
"Maybe Whismur found the way out," Max says.
"Maybe. So we should go find the exit, too," Mew says.
"That'd be nice, but finding the exit's easier said than done," Brock says.
"It's hopeless. I just know it," May says.
But Max says, "Wait a second!"
"What is it, Max?" Mew asks.
Max approaches the walls, "We've been hitting nothing but dead ends for so long that there's gotta be some sort of trick door or something like that right he…" but before he can finished, he finds and stumbles through said trick door.
"A secret door!" Jen says, surprised.
"Looks like the King of Tricks is very clever. The doors we've been seeing were a diversion from the real doorway through the maze," Mew says.
"Alright! We're finally out!" Mew says.
Everyone steps through the door.
May and Alanna cheer, "We made it!"
Soon, the King of Tricks appears on the wall, "What's this? Is it possible that one group or three has made it out of the maze already? You're aMAZEing! I dare say you're the best! I'm impressed!" He laughs before falling off the maze wall.
"You know, if he keeps falling like that, he's gonna get hurt," May says, worried.
"Nah. He does stuff like that every year," Alanna says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket had also found a secret door in the maze wall.
Meowth: Alright, we did it!" Meowth says.
Jessie: That's right, now move!" Jessie says.
"Our prize pile of Pokéblock awaits!" James adds.
As they start walking, Alanna spots them and shrieks, catching their attention.
"Huh?" Team Rocket reacts, confused.
"You found my Whismur!" Alanna happily says and rushes over, "And you brought it back to me, that's so sweet.
Team Rocket chuckles nervously while they sweat drop.
"Oh, how can I ever thank you?" Alanna happily says, and takes Whismur back with glee.
"That's awesome!" Mew says.
"I know," Alanna says.
Team Rocket groans in disappointment, knowing they failed.
Suddenly, everyone begins to hear singing sounds again.
"What's that?" Max asks.
"It's the same signing from before," May says.
Soon, everyone falls fast asleep in response. And like before, something draws the group's face. Whismur notices it and looks really confused by the figure's actions.
May and Alanna are seen laughing at each other's faces again.
"So this happened to you before. You heard singing, fallen asleep, and woke up with scribbles on your faces," Max questions.
"Yeah, and it's familiar," Mew says.
Whismur then approached Alanna
"Whismur." (Alanna?) Whismur says.
Alanna turns to her Pokemon, "Hey, how come you didn't get your face scribbled on?"
"Whismur's protected from all sound-based attacks by its own special ability called Soundproof," Mac clarifies.
"And it proves that we've been listening to a Sleep attack," Mew says.
"Whismur Whismur Whismur," (And it's a Jigglypuff so sang, put you to sleep, and draw scribbles on your faces.) Whismur says.
"A Jigglypuff did that?" Mew questions.
"You can tell what Whsimur said?" Alanna asks.
"Long story, but I can understand Pokemon, and Whismur said a Jigglypuff did all this," Mew says.
"But why?" May asks.
"Not sure, but we better get going," Mew says.
With that, the group takes their leave.
"I wonder what the King of Tricks has in store for us next," Brock says.
"Not sure I want to find out,"Jen says.
As Brock and Jen talk, Team Rocket are sleeping with scribbles on their faces, the King of Tricks has disappeared.
Later, the threesome wakes up.
With teary-eyes, Jessie cries, "What?! They're gone?! One nap and we lose the twerps?!"
"But gain a face full of graffiti," James adds, teary eyes.
"Quit cryin'! Dat Pokéblock's out dere crying for us!" Meowth says.
"Woooobbu!" (No joke!) Wobbuffet says.
Meanwhile, Mew and the gang comes across logs laying across a chasm with a river rushing underneath.
"Are we supposed to cross this?" Tomo asks.
"We'd better take it slowly," Brock says.
"Let me check. One of these logs might break," Mew says.
Mew walks on one of the logs, to check if it's safe. She turns to the others and gestures to them to come. The others do so.
Then King of Tricks appears again, "Hi! The key to this log crossing is to choose the log you want to use carefully because it might not be as safe as you think! Otherwise…
Right as the King of Tricks says 'otherwise', the log beneath him gives way, sending him into the river, laughing all the way.
TheKing of Tricks surfaces from the water, "You're going to end up taking a swim! He who picks a foolish path will also take a nasty bath!" He laughs and sinks.
" You know, I think the King of Tricks has a few issues," May says.
"Yeah, but, he's fun, right?" Alanna says.
The group continues on, with Team Rocket standing at the starting point of the log.
"Well, look at that. The twerps are nearly one step ahead of us," Jessie says.
"Which means beating them to the other side should be as easy as falling off a log!" James says.
"Pokéblock, here we come!" Meowth says.
"I have an idea!" Jessie says, "Oh, dear! I've fallen and I can't get up!" As she fakes her collapse, she pushes the log, sending the group off, causing the others to stop while the trio runs across, laughing in triumph while the soaked heroes surface)
"What was that?!" May asks, confused.
"Whismur, you okay?" Alanna asks.
"Whismur." (Just wet.) Whismur says.
Soon, Jessie says, "Nice dive!"
"Two snaps up!" James says.
Meowth follows behind them with a laugh.
"You guys are gonna pay for this!" Max says.
Team Rocket continues on through more of the Trick House.
Team Rocket cheers, "We're getting into the swing of things, and taking this party uptown!" as they swing on the ropes.
King of Tricks comes in, "The key to the rope crossing is choosing your rope carefully," He picks a rope and swings on it, "If you don't, your rope could stretch out and…"
Right then and there, the King of Tricks swings smack into a wall.
King of Tricks muffles, "You and this wall will become very close!" And sings, "All great tricksters hit the wall, eeyi eeyi oh!" He then laughs before falling off the wall while Mew and the others who had arrived and witnessed the whole thing, sweat drop as the King of Tricks falls into the water.
"Maybe he's hit that wall one too many times," Jen says.
"Maybe. Or, he's just nuts," Alanna says.
"Let's see," Mew says, and grabs the rope, "This looks good."
Everyone tests the rope to check if it's safe.
Alanna picks up her Whismur, "Whismur, you can come with me.
"Whismur Whis!" (Lead the way!) Whsimur says.
Then Mew says, "Hold on, let me and Tomo go first."
Then whispers to Tomo. Tomo nods in response.
"Let's go!" Mew says.
Mew and Tomo swing on the rope.
James then fires a red hand, "Caught red-handed!"
Mew calls out, "Now!"
Tomo and Mew swing away from the mechanical hand, and they both mananges to push Team Rocket away with their feet. They end up crashing to the wall.
"Sorry, looks like your hands slipped," Mew says.
Dazed, Jessie says, "Not funny."
Tomo calls out, "Okay guys, we're clear."
With that, everyone swings across the vines.
Later in the next room. There are many different ropes hanging from the ceiling.
King of Tricks comes in and says, "Your next challenge is my famous rope climb! The object is to climb all the way up and choose the right box! Careful what you choose!" He climbs one rope up to a blueish green box, "Or it could all go…" and the box opens to show a hammer, "To your head!"
The hammer hits his head multiple times, sending him falling.
"You goof up this trick and you'll hit the floor, real quick!" King of Tricks calls out.
As soon as he finishes his sentence, he hits the floor hard.
"Whoa. That one looked like it might have hurt," Molly says.
"This happens all the time, but he still comes back every year," Alanna says.
"Well, let's choose a rope," Tomo says.
"So which box should we climb to?" Max wonders.
"Hmm… let's try the red box," Mew says.
"But what if those guys try to sabotage us?" Mew asks.
Tomo says, "Don't worry, I'll go."
And with that, Tomo climbs the rope leading to the red box. Soon, Tomo reaches the red box.
"Made it," Tomo says.
But then a disguised James comes out from the red box)
"Great!" James says, and takes out a big pair of scissors, "And here's your prize!"
"Sorry to cut this short," Tomo says and brings out his boomerang. Then hits James in the head with it.
James screams, falls down, and crashes to the ground.
Jessie comes over, "Hey! What's the big idea?!"
Then Jessie and Meowth get hit with the boomerang, falls down, and crashes on James.
"Those creeps! Why do they keep showing up?" Jen questions.
Meanwhile, in the next room, a few contestants are running to the exit until they end up falling into pits as Mew and the others arrive.
"Pitfalls? Really?" Mew questions.
"Didn't expect this," Jen says.
Soon, King of Tricks comes in, "Glad you asked. Time for the pit traps! Word of caution; step lively," Right then and there, he falls into one of his own pitfalls, prompting May and Alanna to check on him.
"Maybe the King of Tricks is lonely and needs some attention?" Molly asks.
"Could be. Then he's been lonely for years," Alanna says.
"Hmm…" Mew says, and taps on the ground. Then a pitfall appears.
"We better be very careful," Mew says.
"Yeah. We have too much experience of falling into Team Rocket's traps," Tomo says.
"And always fell for it," Jen says.
With that, the group takes it slow and tries to check with every step of a pit trap. Soon, Team Rocket watches up to them.
"So the next traps are the pitfalls, eh?" Jessie questions.
"A Team Rocket specialty. Ha!" James says.
"As foist-class pit diggahs, let's get started!" Meowth says.
Jessie says, "We can spot where those pits are dug in no time. I could even find them in my sleep! Now's our chance to really get ahead! Now's our chance to really get ahead! It's this way!"
"Gotcha!" James says.
"You're right! No question!" Meowth says.
"Right foot, and…" Team Rocket says.
Right then and there, Team Rocket falls into a pit as Mew turns around.
"Where's that dust coming from?" Mew questions. She shrugs and walks off.
They soon reach the sixth room.
"Where're we going now? Molly asks.
"I think we might be getting close to the end," Alanna says.
"There's nothing here," Brock says.
Then, Team Rocket makes their move in new disguises.
Jessie and James say, "Hi!"
"Now, for the final test," Jessie says.
"The jump rope test!" James says.
Then begins singing a jump rope around.
"You must jump ten times flawlessly!" Jessie says.
"After that, you're done!" James says.
"That's it?" May asks.
"Wow, that's nothing for the last trick!" Max says.
"I don't know…" Mew says, thinking something up.
"So, are you ready?" Jessie says.
"Hop till you drop!" James says.
"Alright, let's go!" Tomo says.
"Okay!" The group happily says.
"I don't know, this seems too easy," Mew says.
"I have to agree," Jen says.
"Yeah," Tomo says.
And Alanna says, "So what? Let's jump!"
With that, Brock, Max, May, Molly, and alanna begin jump roping as they count. Mew, Tomo, and Jen decide to play it smart and not jump, especially since Mew senses something off with what's been happening. When they reach ten, jumpers celebrate their accomplishment, Jessie and James make their move and tie them up, and they drag Mew and the others into it. Soon, they bag the Pokemon.
"We've got Pikachu, Eevee, and Whismur!" Jessie says.
"And got Skwovet, Meloetta, and Amaura as bonuses," James says.
"No, not my Whismur!" Alanna cries out.
"Who are you guys?!" Mew demands.
And with that, Jessie and James begin their motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for tricky trouble!
James:
Make it a tricky double!
Jessie and James took off their employee disguises to reveal their contestant disguises.
"We saw you two before!" May cries out.
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation!
James:
To unite all people's within our nation!
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie: (chuckles and takes off her disguise)
Jessie!
James: (chuckles and takes off his disguise)
And James!
Jessie:
Team Rocket rips off 40 reps at the speed of light!
James:
Surrender now or prepare to fight and fight!
Meowth:
Meowth! Dat's right!
Wobbuffet:
Wobbu Wobbu! (And that's a wrap!)
"You again!" Jen calls out.
"It was Team Rocket?!" May says.
"Yep, and better dan ever," Meowth says.
"We told you who were foolish enough to believe us to hop till you drop and that's precisely what you did. But I guess some of you aren't as dumb as you look. Well, once a twerp, always a chump or a pain," Jessie says.
"You know, we could've taken the easy way out and won by walking over to the goal, but decided to steal your Pokemon instead," James says.
The Pokemon struggle in the bag.
"Pikachu! Eevee!" Mew calls out.
"Meloetta! Skwovet!" Tomo calls out.
"Amaura!" Jen calls out.
"Whismur!" Alanna calls out.
"You're not gonna get away with this, Team Rocket," Mew says, and wiggles a hand out of the ropes with a Pokeball in it, "Help me out, Corphish!"
Corphish comes out.
Mew says, "Corphish, cut these ropes, now!"
Corphish does so
"Yeah, way to go!" Mew says.
"You've got nerve!" Jessie angrily says and calls out, "Seviper, go!"
James does the same, "You too, Cacnea!"
Both Seviper and Cacnea come out, but Cacnea turns around and hugs James.
"Not again! Not me!" James cries out.
Cacnea promptly lets go and goes into battle.
"Cacnea, Pin Missile!" James calls out.
Cacnea fires the attack.
But Mew calls out, "Corphish, use Harden!"
Corphish manages to harden up in time, causing the pins to be deflected, shocking both James and Cacnea.
Mew then calls out, "Corphish, Crab Hammer, now!"
Corphish hits the attack, and sends Cacnea flying into Meowth, forcing him to drop the sack, freeing the Pokemon.
"Whismur!" Alanna cries out and runs up to it, "Whismur, are you okay?" Then turns to the Pokemon, "What about you?"
The Pokemon answers that they're okay.
Alanna then turns to Team Rocket, "You three! You're nothing but a bunch of no good cheaters and criminals! Whismur, teach them a lesson. Go!"
Whismur goes into battle.
Jessie scoffs it off, "Please. You think that little grape can scare me? Seviper, use Wrap, now!"
Seviper coils its lower body around Whismur.
"Not for long it ain't! Whismur, use Screech!" Alanna says.
Whismur's Screech hurts the ears.
"So this is Whismur's Screech attack, huh? Well, it's a good name for it!" Max says.
"It's really loud," Molly says.
"Good work, Whismur!" Alanna says, and calls out, "Now, Supersonic!"
Whismur launches the attack and forces Seviper to let go of Whismur.
"Great, Whismur! Hyper Voice!" Alanna says.
Whismur launches the attack and nails both Seviper and Cacnea.
Then Mew calls out, "Alright, Corphish, finish it up with Crab Hammer!"
Corphish then fires the attack with hard land, and sends Team Rocket flying straight through the roof of the Trick House.
Dazed, Jessie says, "No Pikachu, no Whismur."
"No Pokéblock and no alarm clock!" James says.
"No bonus, no promotions, a whole lotta no," Meowth says.
"What do you know? We're blasting off again," Team Rocket cries out.
And soon, Team Rocket is gone.
"Whismur!" Alanna says and catches, "You're the best. Thanks, Whismur."
Later, outside the Trick House, the winner is being granted their prize)
The King of Tricks says, "This year's super-duper mega prize winner in the Trick House is a young man named Ivan who hails from this very city, Mauville. Here you go, son, you've earned this," and hands him his prize.
"Thanks, King of Tricks," Ivan says.
Everyone applauds
King of Tricks then says, "So enjoy your prize, Ivan. A one-year supply of Pokéblock. And now, a tip for the rest of you. Watch out below!" and laughs.
As the King of Tricks talks, Ivan shows he's having difficulty keeping his prize steady before falling over as the King of Tricks laughs.
"Wow, do you think the King might come up with some better jokes next year?" May sarcastically says.
"Maybe. This year's were better than last year's," Alanna says.
Then May apologizes, "Alanna, I feel bad. Team Rocket wouldn't have messed up your training and the game if you hadn't been with us."
But Alanna reassures, "Don't worry about that, May. No, it was a really great chance to battle with Whismur."
Whismur agrees before yawning and falling asleep.
"Aw, you must be tired, huh?" Alanna says.
"Well, after all that battling it went through, it's no wonder," May says.
Brock turns to Mew, "Well, our next stop in Mauville City is the gym, at long last!"
"Yeah, it's not far at all," Max says.
"Awesome, I can't wait to get my third badge!" Mew says.
The group is ready to get to Mauville City. However, there is one thing that's bothering them.
"By the way, where do you think this Jigglypuff disappeared to?" May asks.
"Yeah. We never figured out why a Jigglypuff will be here to begin with," Max says.
Then the King of Tricks asks, "By the way, did you all have fun with my extra surprise?"
Everyone becomes confused.
"You all heard very nice singing and got a good rest while going through the maze, and woke up with shocking and funny surprises on your faces," The King of Tricks says and laughs, "And you can thank my very special Princess of Tricks, Bubbles!"
And with that, a Jigglypuff comes out and holds a box of markers in her hand.
The Jigglypuff happily says, "Jiggly Jigglypuff!" (Hi everybody!)
Everyone is shocked to see it.
"No way!" Mew exclaims, in shock.
"So that Jigglypuff Whismur was talking about belongs to him?!" May adds, shocked.
"I guess he decided to add an extra surprise this year," Alanna says, even though she's surprised.
"Seems so," Max says, dumbfounded.
"Well, I hope you all enjoy the music and funny scribbles, along with the Trick House, because we'll be floating away until next year, right Bubbles," King of Tricks says.
Then the Jigglypuff, Bubbles answers, "Jiggly!" (We sure will!)
Then the two begin giggling.
Despite the hitches, Mew and the others have a good time at the Trick house, even though they end up not winning. And now, it's off to Mauville City for Mew's next gym battle.
