Episode 48: I Feel Skitty!
Mew and her friends continue to make their way to Fallarbor town for May's next Pokemon Contest. But first, they decide to rest and take a break while May prepares to practice for the upcoming Pokemon Contest.
Mew gives Pikachu a cup, "Here's some water, Pikachu."
"Pika," (Thank you.) Pikachu says and drinks the cup.
Soon, May calls out, "Beautifly, here we go!" and tosses out a frisbee.
Beautifly, already in the air, blows the frisbee back with Gust, allowing May to catch it perfectly.
"Yes! We did it!" May cheers.
"That was a lot better than last time, May," Brock says.
"That was awesome!" Jen says.
"Thanks, you're all the first to see the winner of the Fallarbor Pokémon Contest," May says and tosses the frisbee out.
Beautifly flies alongside the frisbee as it soars through the sky. Mew and the others watch as May prepares to perform the final touches on her performance. Beautifly uses Gust to blow the frisbee back to May.
May catches it, "Yeah! One more time!" and tosses it out.
However, May tosses it in the wrong direction.
"Oops," May sheepishly says. Then turns to her Torchic, "Would you mind getting it for me, Torchic?"
Torchic happily agrees and runs off, only to quickly realize it was going downhill really fast.
"Torchic?" May calls out, and heads over to check on it.
As May starts to head to where Torchic was going, Torchic ends up running right into a rock before recomposing itself and finding the frisbee. But before it could carry it back to May, it hears something from the nearby grass and goes to investigate while May and the others come down the hill.
"Torchic?" May calls out.
"Here's the frisbee," Tomo says.
"But where'd Torchic go?" Mew wonders.
Max calls out, "Hey, Torchic!"
"Eevee Veee!" (Where did you go?!) Eevee calls out.
They soon hear Torchic's voice, "Torchic Tor!" (I'm in here!)
The group then approaches the tall grass. They soon find Torchic, next to a Skitty, who doesn't look good.
"What Pokémon is that?" May asks.
"It's a Skitty," Mew says and brings out her Pokedex.
Dextette says, "Skitty, the Kitten Pokémon. A Normal Type. Skitty will get completely caught up in pursuing any moving objects that catch its eye."
"Reminds me of my Skitty," Mew says.
May kneels down to it, "Hi. I'm May. You're so cute."
The Skitty happily meows, enchanting May.
May squeals, "I have to catch it!" And get ready for action, "Alright, Torchic, let's go!
Torchic happily hops into battle, but the Skitty doesn't seem so eager. This has the gang, especially May worried.
"I think it's sick," May says, and picks it up.
Brock presents a Pokemon food to Skitty, "Here. Have some yummy Pokémon food."
The Skitty sniffs it, but doesn't eat.
"Something's wrong?" May says.
"Hmm, it's tired," Mew says, and brings out her Pokeball, "I might have an idea. Come on out Skitty."
And with that, Mew let out her Skitty.
Mew picks up her Skitty, "Skitty, can you talk to her."
Mew's Skitty nods and talks to Wild Skitty. The Wild Skitty talks back. The two continue talking. Mew's Skitty turns to Mew and explains.
Mew says, "My Skitty said that this Skitty is very exhausted and doesn't have much energy."
"Poor thing," May says.
Then Brock has an idea, "Wait! I'll take care of this!"
Soon, the group was on their way somewhere.
"Alright, everyone, just follow me," Brock says.
"Where are we going?" Max asks.
"Don't you worry about that," Brock says.
Soon, three Oddish happily pop out to greet the group.
"A bunch of Oddish just coming out to greet us?" Molly says.
"Look at those flowers," Molly says.
"Yeah. and look at the Weepinbell," Max says.
"I bet there are tons of grass Pokémon around here," Mew says.
"Cool!" Tomo says.
"Well here we are. This is called The Greenhouse, a Pokémon aromatherapy laboratory," Brock says.
"Yeah. I think you told me about it," Mew says.
"Aromatherapy," May says, very interesting.
"What's aromatherapy?" Molly asks.
"You see Molly, at The Greenhouse, they use fragrances to heal Pokémon, though it was originally intended for human treatment. I saw an infomercial on it," Brock says.
"Aromatherapy sounds great. Thanks, Brock."
Soon, a woman in a lab coat comes into their view
"Can I help you?" The woman asks.
Seeing her, Brock becomes smitten, "Whoa! You must be Eliza, the owner of The Greenhouse! You're much more beautiful in person than on TV!"
Eliza, is a beautiful woman with long blue hair, wears a pink shirt with a lab coat.
"That explains why we're here," Max says.
Soon, May says, "There's something wrong with this wild Skitty we found, and we need your help."
"No problem. Would you please come in through the front entrance? Eliza says.
"Yes!" Brock says and approaches Eliza, "Of course, I'd be happy to come in through the front. As long as you're there to greet me on the other side."
Next thing they know, Max grabs Brock's ear, "Enough!" And pulls him away.
"Ear!" Brock cries out in pain.
"Keep that up and we won't be allowed inside," Max says.
Mew and May giggle as they cover their mouths.
"Looks like Max is taking over your job now," May says.
"And Misty," Mew replies.
A bit later, everyone is inside and are amazed by all the plants they find.
"This is where we do our research on fragrances," Eliza says.
Jen walks over and asks, "What's this fragrance here?"
"That's a personal favorite of mine, it's a brand-new fragrance that we made from Oddish's Sweet Scent," Eliza says.
Tomo then notices a bottle, "What's in this one?
"That one is a liquid concentrate that we made from Weepinbell's Sweet Scent. We mixed in all kinds of herbs and mints," Eliza says.
May smell some flowers, "Wow. They smell so good."
"I agree. And when it's finished, we use the finished fragrance to heal Pokémon, and that's Pokémon aromatherapy," Eliza says.
Suddenly, Brock comes over, "I always loved aromatherapy," and smells either Eliza or the plants, "Catching a whiff will make my day, and now, thanks to you, my day has been made."
Max pulls Brock away once more, "And this is how we can make her day."
"Ear!" Brock cries out.
A bit later, the group along with Eliza examine the Skitty they found and Mew's Skitty tries to comfort it.
"So, what do you think about this Skitty?" May asks.
"Skitty mentioned that she's very tired," Mew says.
"Well, there's no doubt that it's not feeling well. But I don't think it's sick," Eliza says, "It's just fatigue, that's all," Then walks to the table, "Don't you worry about a thing, I'll just whip us up a batch of the perfect healing fragrance."
"Really? Thank you so much!" May says.
"So, we'll start out with this…" Eliza says. She then picks up a beaker with light blue liquid, "And then this…" and picks up a test tube with red liquid) And that should do it," Then she pours the red liquid into the beaker, turning the liquid in the beaker pink."
And soon, Brock comes over, "Don't forget my healing. Please mix me up some of your fragrance…" But as Brock talks, he gets pulled away by the pant leg by Max.
"You're mixed up enough already," Max says, annoyed.
"I'll be waiting!" Brock calls out and gets pulled away.
Soon, the liquid is poured into an atomizing machine, and with the press of a button, the fragrance comes out.
"A bit of rest while breathing in this fragrance and Skitty should be just fine," Eliza says.
"I can smell it already," Max says.
"I really like that. It smells great!" Mew says.
The Pokemon happily agree.
May then asks, "Eliza, is it okay if I stay here with Skitty?"
"Yes, of course," Eliza says.
Skitty happily meows in agreement before Eliza leads the others out.
"So, I'll give the rest of you a tour of the gardens while your Skitty recuperates inside and while your other friend finishes what he asked me if he could work on," Eliza says.
"Thank you, Eliza," Mew says.
Soon, Max notices, "Hey, it's those same Oddish again."
"We have our garden set up so that grass Pokémon can live as natural a life as possible," Eliza says.
Meanwhile, May is taking in more of the scent in the room Skitty is resting in
"It smells so good," May says.
Then pets Skitty, "Keep breathing deeply, okay, Skitty?"
Skitty meows in agreement.
Meanwhile, out in the sky above, Team Rocket hovers nearby.
"Hey, I think dat's de aromatherapy lab known as The Greenhouse," Meowth says.
"You're right. They make fragrances that soothe Pokémon," Jessie says.
"My Cacnea could use some soothing," James says.
And Jessie says, "My Dustox would adore it. And I'm sure Happiny will love to see the flowers."
"I think we should give dat sweet smelling stuff to da boss, got it?" Meowth says.
But James says, "But Meowth, Clarify."
Meowth visualizes his plan.
Meowth says, "Picture da boss waking up early in da morning."
"Pictured," Jessie and James reply.
Meowth continues, "And finds dat he's surrounded by a wonderful fragrance. Wit a sweet snootful of scent, he's ready start his day. An' wit another scent in da bathroom, he'll be brushing his teeth bettuh dan befawh, like we've been doin'. Then he'll head out into de garden of his mansion for his mawhnin' stretches, and as dat sweet aroma puts his mind deepah an' deepuh into gleeful ease, he may just say dis; "I just have tuh reward Meowth an' his teammates fawh helping ease me wit dese wonderful fragrances." Well?"
Scenario ends.
Team Rocket cheers, "Next stop, promotions! Then expense accounts! Yay, team!"
"Wooooobbu!" (Aaaaand how!) Wobbuffet says.
But James realizes something, "Wait a minute, Meowth. Those fragrances are meant for Pokémon, not humans."
"Okay, smarty-pants, if you've got a bettuh idea, lay it on me!" Meowth shouts.
"Who cares? Just healing our own Pokémon is enough for me," Jessie says.
"Good point," James replies.
And Meowth says, "Maybe I can test em out by healing myself."
Meanwhile, Mew and the others re-enter the room to check on May and Skitty.
"How's Skitty doing?" Mew asks.
"Still asleep," May answers, quietly.
Skitty soon wakes up.
"How was your nap, Skitty?" May asks.
"Feeling better?" Mew asks.
Skitty soon starts chasing its tail.
"What's going on?" Max asks.
"Just doing Skitty ways. Chasing her tail. My Skitty does the same sometimes," Mew says.
Then Skitty collapses on the ground.
"Well, that's pretty cute," Jen says.
Skitty soon starts playing with the drapes.
"I'd say that Skitty is feeling a lot better," Brock says.
"Let's see," Mew says, and gets out her Skitty's cat toy. Both her and the wild Skitty quickly start playing. Then the wild Skitty chases her tail again.
"What a cute little Pokémon," Mew says.
"Cutie," Molly says.
Eliza soon enters, "How's Skitty doing?"
Brock happily says, "Eliza, you did it! I could use a pick-me-up too, please."
"Hey!" Max shouts and pulls Brock away, "I think a calm-you-down would work a lot better."
"Eliza," Brock calls out and reaches out for her.
Soon, Both Skitty talk to each other and they both begin to play together, running around the room.
May then picks up the Wild Skitty, "You sure are energetic now, aren't you, Skitty?"
"I'd bet that Skitty was worn out from nonstop play," Eliza says.
Soon, Both Skitty is eating some Pokémon food.
"It's got an appetite," Tomo says.
"After running around so much, it's no wonder," Brock says.
Just then, May calls out, "Now, come out, Torchic!" and lets out her Torchic.
This worries everyone.
"Time to catch that Skitty!" May says.
"You want to battle Skitty in a laboratory?" Brock adds, stunned.
"It's too dangerous to battle in here," Mew says.
"Well, I'll just be careful then," May says.
Soon, the Wild Skitty soon darts in and tackles Torchic.
"That's one mean Tackle," Mew says.
May calls out, "Torchic, Quick Attack, now!"
Torchic recovers, darts in and nails Skitty, and Skitty is down.
"May, now's your chance," Mew says.
"You're mine, Skitty!" May says.
Suddenly, the window breaks, catching everyone's attention.
"Who are you?" Eliza questions.
It's soon revealed to be Jessie and James, wearing the outfits from the Salon Roquet incident back in the Kanto Region.
Jessie:
Prepare for some royally painful trouble.
James:
And make it formally double.
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie.
James:
James.
Jessie:
Team Rocket waxes poetic at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now or prepare to fight the good fight.
Meowth:
Meowth! Dat's right!
"Team Rocket?" May questions.
"So, what's with your weird costumes?" Max questions.
"Us royalty types know perfume," Jessie says.
"Gimme a break," Mew and May reply.
"Voila!" Jessie and James say, removing their disguises.
Jessie then calls out, "We'd like to introduce a new scent. Seviper, Haze!"
And with that, Seviper is let out and spreads the Haze, blinding everyone in the room, as Team Rocket begins stealing the bottles.
"Breathe deeply," James says.
"Do you like it?" Jessie questions.
Meowth laughs, "It's called Hazy aromatherapy."
The Wild Skitty soon comes up to Meowth.
Meowth becomes enchanted, "Oh my goodness! Be still my heart!"
"Skitty! Where are you?" May calls out.
"Maybe it's da perfume but I tink I'm in love," Meowth says, still dazed.
"All those fragrance bottles are worth a fortune!" Eliza cries out.
Meanwhile, James is running with the bag, "You'll never catch me! You'll never catch me!"
"Stop, thief! Come back!" Brock cries out.
"Fat chance, twerp-o!" James calls out.
"You're going down!" Brock shouts and tackles him.
James gets sent right into a shelf full of bottles of fragrance that quickly shatter either on impact with James or when they hit the ground, mixing together.
"Now what?" Eliza panics.
It's soon seen that the new aroma has a prominent effect on the Pokemon, but to humans, it smells terrible.
Jessie holds her nose, "What's that smell?!"
"Ordure odor!" James cries out.
"Wooooobbuffeeeet!" (It's heaven!) Wobbuffet says.
Max covers his nose, "What happened, Eliza?!"
"Too many fragrances got mixed together," Eliza answers.
"And now our Pokemon is dazed," Mesw says.
Jessie puts on her gas mask, "Grab any unbroken bottles."
"Right!" James says, doing the same.
"Oh, no you don't!" Mew says, covering her nose.
With his mouth covered, Brock is dragging Max, "I've got you now!"
"Brock, it's me! Max!" Max cries out.
Eliza panics, "My remaining fragrances!"
"My Skitty!" May panic.
And Meowth says, "My sinuses! They're clear!"
Soon, as Meowth speaks, the haze clears away.
"They've lost our scent, but we've got all her unbroken and bottled ones," James says.
"Time to pull out!" Jessie says.
Both of them leap out the broken window
"Behind ya!" Meowth says as he and the others follow from behind.
"Wobbu!" (See ya!) Wobbuffet says.
"Stop, you crooks!" Mew shouts and runs to the window.
Outside, Team Rocket reaches their balloon, out of breath.
"I'm so refreshed!" Meowth says.
Everyone but James leaps into the balloon.
"Anytime!" Jessie says.
"Oh," James says, and starts to climb in.
But Brock comes over, "No way!" and grabs and pulls James down, "I'll just take this," runs off with the bag.
"Seviper, get that bag back!" Jessie calls you.
Seviper darts in.
Mew then throws her Pokeball, "Go, Corphish! Bubble Beam!"
Corphish comes out and fires the attack.
James then calls out, "Cacnea, use Pin Missile!"
Cacnea comes out and fires the attack.
Mew then calls out, "Quick, Corphish, Harden!"
Corphish manages to nullify the attack before two Weepinbell appear.
This catches James' attention, "Weepinbell! Okay, change in plan, I want one of those Weepinbell!"
"Sorry, James, but we're not changing anything in the plan. We're leaving you now," Jessie says as the balloon starts to rise.
Mew then calls out, "Crab Hammer, Corphish!
Corphish pounds the ground with the attack, creating a shockwave powerful enough to send James and Cacnea flying into the balloon basket.
"Hi." Jessie and Meowth reply.
Mew then calls out, "Taillow, Wing Attack, go!"
Taillow then comes out and punches a hole straight through the balloon, sending Team Rocket flying.
"Not again!" Team Rocket cries out.
"Wooobbufet!" (We'll be back!) Wobbuffet cries out.
Eliza, Max and the others run up.
"Are you okay?" Eliza asks.
"We're fine," Mew says.
"But the only thing I could save was this one bag," Brock says, presenting the bag.
"Oh well. At least I got some of it back," Eliza says.
May soon runs up in a panic, "This is awful."
"Hey, May. What's the matter?" Max asks.
"I can't find Skitty anywhere," May says.
"You're kidding," Tomo asks, shocked.
"I wish I was. I just hope that Team Rocket didn't take it," May says, worried.
Elsewhere, Team Rocket had crash-landed.
James is still sulking from not being able to get a Weepinbell, "I wanted just one of those Weepinbell. We never get to do what I want to do."
"Well, at least I got what I wanted to get," Jessie says as she takes out a couple bottles, "And, not one broken bottle. See?"
"Yep. I want a sniff," Meowth says and pulls out a bottle, pulls off the top, takes a whiff and sighs, "It's a medical miracle! I feel all healed up already!"
Just then, the Wild Skitty pokes its head out of the bag.
"James, what's this?" James asks.
"That's easy, it's the Skitty that the red bandana twerpette was trying to catch," James says.
Meowth is soon lovestruck, "Hi dere, little Skitty-witty-poo!
Skitty immediately plays with Meowth's tail, and Meowth is keeping it entertained.
"Explain that," Jessie says.
"Well, Skitty likes to play by chasing things like Meowth's tail," James says.
Jessie picks up a twig, "Or this?" And wags it towards Skitty, "Want to play, Skitty?
Skitty soon starts playing with the twig.
Jessie becomes giddy, "This has got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life!"
"Wobbuffet." (And it's so adorable.) Wobbuffet agrees.
"So, I'm going to make you mine," Jessie says.
However, Meowth thinks differently, "Oh no! What's Jessie thinking? She can't catch my Skitty! Of course, it is the cutest Pokémon we've ever seen. But what kind of life would it have?!" And pictures Pikachu and Eevee landing a Thunderbolt on him, Skitty, Jessie and James, Corphish nailing them with Crab Hammer and Treecko firing Bullet Seed at them before blasting off, "Dat itty-bitty Skitty will be toast in no time flat! Well, dat isn't going tuh happen!"
But soon, Meowth says out loud, "So I just had a brilliant idea, let's give Skitty tuh da boss!"
"What's that?" Jessie questions.
"Translation?" James adds, confused.
And Meowth begins to say, "Picture the boss waking up in the morning."
"Okay," Jessie and James reply.
Meowth continues, "Seeing him wake up will make Skitty scamper over to say 'good mawhnin'!' And if da boss is dat happy, you can just imagine what he'll say. "Dis Skitty has brought me plenty of happiness and I have Meowth and his teammates tuh thank"."
Scenario ends.
"Think of it! We'll probably get expense accounts, huge promotions! It'll be a blast!" Meowth says.
"All very logical," James says.
"Woooobbu!" (Aaaand how!) Wobbuffet says.
But Jessie is not hearing it, "Hey, listen up! You seem to forget that Skitty is going to be mine!"
"But Jess, tink of how unhappy it'll be!" Meowth quickly says.
This has Jessie turn to Meowth, "What was that?!"
"Uh, I mean how happy. I'll tell you what Jess, how about I go get Skitty some fresh water tuh drink?" Meowth says.
"You'd do that? Why, thank you, Meowth," Jessie says.
Soon, Meowth heads to a nearby lake with Skitty in hand.
"Jessie won't tink of looking fawh us over here," Meowth says.
Then says ro Skitty, "Look, Skitty, you gotta scram, fast!"
"Nyaaa?" (Why?) Skitty asks.
"Only ting woise dan being Jessie's Pokémon is getting your teeth pulled out, and dat isn't as bad! I wouldn't wish dat on my wawhst enemy, much less a cutie like ya," Meowth says.
"Nyaa?" (Really?) Skitty questions.
Then Meowth says, "If Jessie knew I was letting you go, she'd lock me up and trow away de key! But I can't take dis horrible pressure no more! Scram! Get a move on!
But Skitty says, "Nyaa!" (Let's play!)
"But Skitty!" Meowth says, worried.
But then he picks up a pebble, "Now, beat it! Get outta here!" and throws it.
Skitty runs after the pebble.
"It's all fawh da best," Meowth says.
Suddenly, he hears Jessie's voice, "Meowth, who's the best?"
Meowth gets spooked by Jessie's appearance
"Anyway, where's the water for my Skitty?" Jessie questions.
Meowth remains silent.
Jessie then asks, "Tell me, where is my Skitty anyway?"
"You take your eyes off of em' for one second and they runaway on ya!" Meowth says.
This makes Jessie unhappy, "Runaway!" and begins beating Meowth up, "You good for nothin' lame excuse for a Pokemon!"
In tears, Meowth says, "It is for the best!"
Meanwhile, Mew and the others search for Skitty.
"Skitty?!" Mew and May call out.
"Where are you?!" Max calls out.
"Skitty!" Molly and Jen call out.
Soon, Taillow flies in.
"What's up, Taillow?" Mew asks.
"Taillow! Taillow!" (I found something! This way!) Taillow says.
"Taillow says it found something," Mew says.
"Better go and see," Brock says
Everyone runs in the direction Taillow is heading before they come to a stop.
"Hey look at that!" Tomo says.
"It's Team Rocket's Balloon!" Brock says.
"But no one's inside or around it," May says, worried.
"You think Skitty...?" Max asks.
But Eliza says, "I'll take care of this," And throws her Pokeball, "Okay, Oddish, let's go!"
And Eliza's Oddish comes out.
Eliza calls out, "Oddish, use Sweet Scent."
Oddish starts twirling around while spreading its aroma, which has a quick effect on any and all Pokémon in the area. Meanwhile, Team Rocket was looking for Skitty.
Jessie and James call out, "Here, Skitty! Skitty!"
"Skitty!" Jessie calls out.
"Guys, but give it up," Meowth says.
But Jessie says, "I don't give up."
Soon, Oddish's Sweet Scent hits Meowth and Wobbuffet.
"Hey! Isn't dat Sweet Scent?" Meowth says.
The smell promptly takes effect, causing Meowth and Wobbuffet to follow their noses.
"Where are you two going? Come back," Jessie calls out.
James says, "Wait!"
The two of them run after them
"What a good smell!" Meowth says.
"Hold on! Get back here!" Jessie says.
As Jessie talks, she and James come to a stop and Mew and the gang. And they soon spot them.
"There's Team Rocket!" Molly says.
"It's a while twerps entourage," Jessie says.
Soon, May demands, "Alright, what did you do with the Skitty I was going to catch?!"
"Have you lost it?! That Skitty is already mine!" Jessie shouts.
Speaking of Skitty, it soon appears right in front of both sides, shocking everyone.
"Skitty, yuh gotta get outta here! Meowth cries out.
This makes Jessie angry, "Come again, Meowth!?"
Meowth covers his mouth in response.
May then rushes towards Skitty, "Skitty!"
"Sorry, but it's my Skitty!" Jessie says.
"No, it's mine!" May argues.
"Forget it, twerpette! It's mine!" Jessie says and calls out, "Dustox, I choose you!"
Dustox comes out.
May calls out, "Beautifly, go!"
Beautifly comes out.
May calls out, "Use Gust!"
Beautifly's attack hit Dustox easily.
Jessie calls out, "Dustox, Tackle!"
Dustox surges forward
And May calls out, "Dodge it!"
Beautifly does so
Then Jessie calls out, "Dustox, Psybeam!"
Dustox fires the attack.
Then May calls out, "Beautifly, dodge again!"
Beautifly does so over and over.
"You certainly made a big improvement on her dodging," Mew says.
"Well, what do you expect? Practice. Practice," May says.
May then calls out, "Beautifly, use Tackle, now!
Beautifly darts forward and knocks Dustox out of the sky.
"Follow up with Gust!" May calls out.
Beautifly's attack sends Dustox right into Team Rocket.
"Pikachu! Eevee! Skitty! Thunderbolt!" Mew calls out.
Soon, all three of Mew's Pokemon perform Thunderbolt, and send Team Rocket flying.
"I guess aromatherapy is a bit overrated," James says.
"But the smell reminds me of Skitty," Jessie says.
"But ya want to know what really stinks?" Meowth questions.
"Don't say it," Jessie says.
And all three cry out, "We're blasting off again!"
"Wooobbuffet!" (Twice already!) Wobbuffet says.
May picks Skitty up, "Skitty, you're okay, right?"
Skitty meows in confirmation
"Well," May says and gets out a Pokéball, "I guess it's time for me to catch you."
Skitty immediately starts reaching for the Pokéball like it was a toy, causing May to drop it before it leaps out of her hands to chase after and touch the lock/unlock button with its head, instantly being sucked in, shocking everyone as the Pokéball blinks, warbles and wobbles.
"Whoa, it jumped right in," Jen says.
"Well, they battled before, right?" Brock says.

The Pokemon cheer, (May did it!)
May picks up the Pokeball, "Yay! I've got a new friend! It's Skitty!"
"Congratulations May," Mew says.
Suddenly, she hears a familiar meow.
Mew looks down to see her Skitty.
"What's up, Skitty?" Mew asks.
Skitty meows in reply.
Mew giggles, "I guess I did promise you it."
"What Promise?" Max asks.
"Well, Skitty said if she ever learns other types of attacks, a few actually, then she can evolve. And she had," Mew says.
Then she brings out a Moon Stone and places it down, "And this is for you."
Skitty meows as a thank you and touches the Moon Stone. Soon, Mew's Skitty begins to evolve. She grows, changes and when the glow is gone, Skitty has evolved. Skitty is now a quadrupedal, feline Pokémon with a mostly tan body. It has a pointed, whisker-like protrusion on each cheek. Its purple ears have three tufts of fur at the tips, and there is a purple ruff-like collar with pin-like extensions around its neck. It has slim legs with tiny, digitless paws. It also possesses a purple, flower-like tuft of hair on the end of its thin tail.
"Cool. Your Skitty evolved," May says.
"That's right. You were great, Delcatty," Mew says.
Delcatty meows with a smile.
Later, Mew and her friends are at The Greenhouse where they are ready to depart
"This road should take you all straight into Fallarbor Town," Eliza says.
"Great, and thank you for all your help, Eliza," May says.
"You know, I never would've imagined that fragrances could heal Pokémon," Tomo says.
"I know, pretty cool, huh?" Max says.
But then Brock comes to Eliza, "But I'm still waiting to be healed by, you."
Max quickly grabs Brock by his backpack
"Unfortunately, you'll be waiting a long time," Max says.
"Bye, Eliza," Brock says.
Mew and May say, "Bye! See you again soon!"
"Bye! And good luck in the Pokémon Contest, May!" Eliza calls out.
"Thanks so much, Eliza!" May says.
Skitty soon comes out of her Pokeball on its own
Shocked, May says, "It lets itself out?!"
Skitty quickly starts chasing its tail before May picks it up
"And so, with another new Pokémon to include in her act, May's sights are firmly set on Fallarbor Town and her next Pokémon Contest.
