Episode 55: Fight for the Meteorite
Our next adventure as Mew and the others have reached the cable car station.
"Look guys, we made it," Mew says.
"There's the cable car!" Tomo says.
The group continued making their way to the station.
Jen notices, "Look guys, there's the cable car," and the group sees the cable car is at the station.
"Great. We can catch this cable car and get to Lavaridge Town in no time," Mew says.
The group then reached the station and boarded the cable car.
"Looks like we made it," Mew says.
Max sits on the ground, "I can't wait to see the sight."
"Me too," Molly says.
Soon, two familiar figures run in.
A familiar female voice calls out, "Wait! Don't let that cable car depart yet!"
"Three more going up!" James calls out.
"That's right, so stay put! After all, one of us is an elderly old lady!" Meowth says.
The threesome, who are actually Team Rocket in disguise, climb aboard.
Soon, someone else runs over, "Hold on, wait for me!"
The group soon looks to see a young woman rushing over as well.
She has fair skin, medium height, and a somewhat thin build. She has chin-length satin black hair and crimson red eyes. Her attire features a ragged white cloak with black shoulder pads, gray short shorts with a red rope around the hips serving as her belt, a tight black top with two red crescent lunar symbols on her chest, a pair of knee length gray socks and open toed gray boots.
The girl soon climbs onto the cable car and it begins moving up to Mt. Chimney so Mew and the others can make their way to Lavaridge Town.
Up on Mt. Chimney, someone is using a scanner device to look for something. The man has fair skin, spiky brown hair, a yellow long sleeve shirt with a teal vest, and wears a backpack. He is also wearing dark pants. He is also wearing clear glasses.
The man says, "This whole mountain is made of rock, but I can't find the one I need. Well, technically this is a dormant volcano, but either way, I'm between a rock and a hot place," and laughs.
Meanwhile, in the cable car, our heroes are taking in the view.
"Whoa. It sure is a long way down from up here," Mew says.
"Yeah, but what a great view," May says.
"And I bet it's even better at the top," Max says.
"You know, they say this mountain is actually a dormant volcano," The girl says.
"Dormant...?" Molly asks.
"Like a volcano?" Jen asks.
"That's right," The woman says. Then introduces herself, "By the way, my name is Zinnia."
"Nice to meet you, Zinnia," Mew says.
Everyone also says, "Hello."
Meanwhile, Team Rocket whispers among themselves.
Jessie quietly says, "Look how close we've gotten to them in the meantime."
"These disguises seem to have worked," James quietly says.
"From dis range, it'll be a cinch ta grab Pikachu and Eevee," Meowth says.
Then Jessie says, "It's time for us to begin phase two. Just follow my lead.
Roger that," the boys reply.
Then Jessie calls out, "Everyone, please gather around me now so we can get started. We're the official tour guide crew for this cable car, and we're here to make sure you get the most out of your Mt. Chimney trip."
"Tour guide crew?" May questions.
"That's right. You can ask us anything," James says, "We'll share all the sights and sounds there are to be seen, and heard."
"We didn't order anything like that," Max says.
Meowth then says, "You lucked out, too. Because today, we're givin' em it, all for nothin. I mean for free."
"Well then, I guess we accept," May says.
"have you been tour guides for long, ma'am?" Brock asks.
"Why yes sonny, I'm surprised you haven't heard of me since I'm a pretty famous tour guide," Meowth says, "It all started in.
But then Jessie interrupts, "If you'll turn your attention to the port side of the cable car…"
But before Jessie can finish her sentence, a red helicopter flies past.
"And what you just saw was a helicopter, red in color," Jessie says.
"I think we all can see that," Jen says.
Jessie ignores her and says, "And now, please have a look at those big rocks over there."
Zinnia mutters, "There's something weird about those guys."
"I have to agree," Mew replies.
Meanwhile, the gentleman from earlier had managed to find something.
The man says, "Aha! A reading, at last."
The man follows the signal until he finds where it's strongest.
"Right here," The man says and spots the source of the signal, "I thought it was a meteor that hit, and I was right."
As the man picks up the meteorite, the helicopter lands behind him.
"Uh oh. Looks like I've got some competition," The man says, worried.
The helicopter lands with Team Magma, led by Homura.
"Okay, team, fan out. If you spot the target, secure him," Homura says.
"Grunts: Yes, sir!" The Magma Grunts say.
In no time, the grunts have the man surrounded.
"Just who are you lot, why do you want me and what are you doing here?" The man questions.
Homura says, "We're Team Magma and we're here for that meteorite you just found, Professor Cozmo. Give it to us."
"No way!" Prof. Cozmo refuses.
Meanwhile, the cable car continued on its way up
"As you can tell, our elevation is nearing 30,000 feet," Jessie says," And what you see on your left…"
Suddenly, another helicopter flies by.
"Is a large gray helicopter," Jessie says, "Well, looks like there's a few helicopters out and about in the sky today.
"They're both heading to the mountaintop," May says.
"Something's going on up there," Brock says.
"I have an idea. That's Team Aqua and Team Magma," Zinnah says.
"What?" Mew asks, shocked.
Back on the mountain, Team Magma still has Prof. Cozmo surrounded
"Hand it over and we won't have to use force," Homura says.
Prof. Cozmo refuses, "Nonsense! I need this meteorite for my research, I refuse to let you have it!"
"That meteorite has greater properties than you can ever imagine," Homura says.
"What are you talking about?" Prof. Cozmo asks.
Soon, Team Aqua's helicopter is heard and seen looking for a landing space.
"What's this?" Homura says.
At the Team Aqua helicopter, Shelley disembarks.
Shelley says, "A Squad, secure the cable car station. B Squad, follow me and keep your eyes open. Our target is Professor Cozmo. Let's move out!"
"Yes, ma'am!" Aqua Grunts says.
In no time, A Squad reaches the station, and the operators notice them.
Operator #1 asks, "What are you doing here?"
"This area's off limits," Operator #2 says.
Aqua Grunt #1 calls out, "Crawdaunt, Bubble Beam attack, go!"
Crawdaunt comes out, and fires the attack while the grunt's partner shuts down the cable car.
"Hey, why'd we stop halfway up?" Tomo asks.
"The view is good, but enough is enough," Max says.
"I've got a bad feeling about this," Mew says.
Brock turns to Jessie, "Excuse me, but do you have a phone to reach the station at either end of the line?"
"What do I look like, a cable car engineer? I'm a tour guide," Jessie says.
"In other words, no," Meowth says.
James soon notices, "Actually, there's one here."
"Perfect," Brock says and tries to call.
However, due to Team Aqua's interference, no one answers.
"Bad news, no one's answering," Brock says.
"Maybe someone can just send someone out here?" Max asks.
"I don't think they can, we're like 25,000 feet off the ground," Mew says.
"And if they can't reach us and have no idea we're up here, then we're trapped!" May panic.
"Trapped?!" Team Rocket cries out.
Soon Jessie tries to talk to someone on the phone, "Hello?! Anyone there?! This is a code red emergency! Answer this phone, right now!" and bangs on the phone until it blows up in her face," She then cries out, "How are we gonna get off of this thing?!"
"But aren't you supposed to know what to do in this situation?" Zinnah asks.
"Something's fishy going in here," Brock says.
Mew demands, "Who are you three?"
And with that, Jessie begins the motto,"Glad you asked. Looks like you're in trouble on this scenic tour.
And James says, "Make it double trouble, that's for sure."
But Meowth cries out, "STOP! Do we got to do da routine every time? I'm too tired to do dis all over again."
"Team Rocket!" Mew exclaims.

Now, on with the show!

To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
Meanwhile, Homura discovers who was in the other helicopter.
"Team Aqua," Homura says.
Shelley says, "A pleasure to see you again, Field Commander Homura."
"Of course, Commander Shelley," Homura says, "Always showing up fashionably late to the party."
"Actually, from where I'm standing, I'd say I'm just in time, since Professor Cozmo is about to hand over that meteorite, "Shellby says.
Homura then says, "The altitude must be affecting your brain."
And then Shelley says, "Well then, if it's a fight you want, then it's a fight you'll get.
The Magma grunts turn their attention towards Team Aqua.
Homura calls out, "Mightyena! Golbat! Go!"
Both Pokemon of the Pokemon come out of each of the Grunts Pokeballs.
Shelblby then calls out, "Go Crawdaunt! Walrein!
Both Pokémon materialize from each grunt's Pokéballs.
Magma Grunt then informs the commander, "Commander Homura, Professor Cozmo is escaping with the meteorite!"
Homura takes notice, and informs, "A Squad, after him! B Squad, stay and fight!"
A Squad Grunts says, "Right!"
The grunts run off.
"We'll have to split up. Four of you go after them while the rest of us stay and fight," Shellby says.
"Yes, ma'am!" Aqua Grunts respond.
Soon, the remaining grunts and their respective leaders are ready to brawl.
"Shall we get this started?" Shelley says.
"If you insist, but you're going to regret it," Homura says.
At the same time, in the cable car…
James (V.O.):
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie (V.O.):
Jessie!
James (V.O.):
James!
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!
Meowth: (removes his disguise)
Meowth! Dat's right!
However, they realize that Mew and the others are ignoring them.
"Any ideas, guys?" Brock asks.
"Well, first thing's first, we have to get down from here," Mew says.
"And then we need to figure out what's going on," Zinnia says.
Jessie angrily says, "Hey! Pay attention! We're trying to make evil threats over here!"
"We're da bad guys of dis show!" Meowth shouts.
"Show some respect!" James adds.
"Sorry Team Rocket, but we have more things to worry about," Mew says, "Besides, you're trapped up here like we are, so why don't you save the motto for another time?!
And Brock says, "And also, having a battle up here would send this entire cable car crashing to the ground."
"We'll be flatter than pancakes if that happens," Jen says.
Team Rocket realizes that Brock is right.
"Not good," James says.
"I suddenly feel queasy," Meowth says, feeling sick.
Mew then notices a storage door, "What's in here?" She then opens a storage cupboard under a seat and finds a rope and hook, "I got an idea!"
Soon, some of the group are up on the roof of the cable car.
Worried, Max asks, "Are you sure about this?"
"I vote not to go first," May says.
"It might be too dangerous," Brock says.
"We don't have much choice," Mew says.
Mew then tosses her rope and hooks and grabs the support tower ahead of them.
"Got it!" Mew says, "Brock, tie these ends to the car."
"Okay," Brock says.
"Alright, here's the plan, Zinnia and I are going to crawl across on this rope, and then climb the rest of the way down," Mew says.
"Wait, crawl? Across those ropes?" Max asks.
"Maybe I'll just wait to be rescued?" May says
"The ropes are tied!" Brock says.
"Alright, Zinnia and I will go first, and we'll try to help the rest of you get down," Mew says.
The two of them start making their way across as Team Rocket pokes their heads through the hatch to see the proceedings.
"Hate ta say it, but I'm quite impressed," Meowth says.
The two continue to crawl across.
Jessie cries out, "Wait! What about the rest of us involved in this monorail mishap?!"
Jessie makes a leap for the rope, but ends up getting into a more dangerous situation.
Jessie panics, "Someone, help me! I overshot my jump! James, Meowth, help me off this thing!"
"Well, here goes nothing, Meowth," James says and leaps for it.
Meowth leaps as well, "I'm comin', too!"
They, too, quickly realized the perilous situation they found themselves in and caused the ropes to start snapping.
"The ropes are breaking!" Brock panics.
"It's too late!" Max cries out.
Right on cue, the ropes snap, sending Mew and Zinnia towards the tower while Team Rocket swings back to the cable car. Thankfully, the two girls stop themselves in time.
Mew calls out, "Everyone, wait there! We're going to get some help and come back!"
With that, both Mew and Zinnia begin sliding down the rope.
"Sounds like a plan!" Brock says.
"Good luck!" Molly says.
"Hurry back!" Max calls out.
James calls out, "They'll likely save us, too, right?"
"Guess we'll wait here," Meowth says.
Meanwhile, the battle between Team Magma and Team Aqua was intensifying as Bubble Beams and Hyper Beams fired every which and where.
"Golbat, Air Cutter, go!" Homura calls out.
Two Golbat launch the attack, nailing the Walrein on the other side and knocking one of them out.
Aqua Grunt says, "Commander, the battle's turning in their favor."
"I can see that. Retreat and regroup. Recall your Crawdaunt and Walrein!" Shelly says.
The Aqua Grunts do so.
Shelly calls out, "Everyone, fall back!"
Team Aqua does so.
"Leaving so soon, Shelly?" Homura says, "I was hoping you'd put up a better fight than that," then turns to the Grunts, "Get the equipment set up and head to the summit, I want it ready for when we get Professor Cozmo back with that meteorite."
"Yes, sir!" Magma Grunts say.
The machine that Homura specified is soon set up and ready to function. Meanwhile, Mew and Zinnah are on their way up the mountain slope, only for Professor Cozmo to run into them.
"Ow," Zinnah says.
"That really hurt," Mew replies.
Prof. Cozmo says, "Yeah, it did. Sorry about that."
"What were you running from?" Mew asks.
"Not what, who. I'm being chased by a group of strangers," Prof. Cozmo says.
Zinnia notices, "Someone's coming. Hide."
They do so, letting the Magma Grunts run past them without even noticing.
"Team Magma?!" Mew says.
"So it's them after all," Zinnia says, "Which means that Team Aqua are here as well.
"So, you've seen them before?" Prof. Cozmo says.
"We've met them before, and they're up to no good in regards to Groudon and Kyogre. But the question is, what are they doing here this time?" Mew says.
Back on the cable car, the rest of the gang are waiting.
"You think Mew and Zinnia will be okay?" Molly asks.
"I'm sure they're okay," Brock says.
Then May asks, "Is anyone else getting hungry?"
"No! How can you even think of food at a time like this?!" Max angrily says.
Soon, Max's stomach starts growling.
"So, not hungry, huh?" May says.
"Luckily Mew and I made some sandwiches before we left," Brock says, and brought out the sandwiches.
"Alright," Tomo says.
Soon, the sandwiches are brought out.
Molly then asks, "What about them?" and points to Team Rocket who are eager for a bite.
"Guess we should share," Jen says.
"Yeah. Even if it's them," Max says.
Meowth refuses, "That's true. We may be hungry, but we are still Team Rocket."
However, Jessie and James take a couple sandwiches
Meowth cries out, "What are you two doing?! Don't you have any bad guy pride at all?!
"No, not a shred," Jessie and James say.
"Well then, neither do I," Meowth says.
Meanwhile, Team Aqua had halted.
The Aqua Grunt says to Shelly, "Search leader reporting, no sign of either Professor Cozmo or the meteorite."
"Continue your search," Shelly says.
"Roger," Aqua Grunt says, via radio.
Elsewhere, Mew and Zinnia are getting acquainted with Professor Cozmo.
"So, you're a professor?" Mew asks.
"Yep. The name's Cozmo. I've been studying asteroids and meteorites for years," Prof. Cozmo says.
"Relly?" Mew asks.
"Yes, and this is my latest subject of research," Prof.
"That fell to Earth from space?" Zinnia asks.
Prof. Cozmo explains, "It was part of a much larger asteroid, but it burnt up when it entered the Earth's atmosphere. Many pieces have scattered across the world and this is the only one I know of that landed in the Hoenn region. And obviously I'm not the only one who wants it."
"So Team Magma's after it?" Mew asks.
"And no surprise that Team Aqua are after it too," Zinnia says.
"That's right, but I can't figure out why they want it so bad," Prof. Cozmo says.
"Something bad, that's for sure," Mew says.
"Possibly, but I don't know. All I want is to study it," Mew says.
Then she asks, "Can I hold it? I never held a meteor before?"
"Sure, now's your chance," Prof. Cozmo says and passes it to Mew.
Mew takes it and notices, "It feels pretty heavy."
"I wonder why?" Zinnia asks.
"Good question. The universe is chock full of questions and mysteries," Prof. Cozmo says.
"Like what?" Mew asks.
"There's so many mysteries to solve that I don't know where to start," Prof. Cozmo says, "I guess I chose to study asteroids and meteors because they're the only things from space that we can actually feel and hold. At the end of a very long journey, several asteroids have landed here on Earth, including the one that wiped out most prehistoric life on Earth. As for the shooting stars we sometimes see at night, those are also meteors speeding past the planet, getting smaller and smaller. By the time this one landed here on Earth, including Mt. Chimney, it covered unimaginable distance in both space and time. They are quite the travelers, wouldn't you both agree?"
"Yeah, it's pretty awesome when you look at it that way," Mew says, and gives Prof. Cozmo the meteor.
"Which is exactly why I don't intend to let those costumed creeps take this one to use for their evil purposes," Prof. Cozmo says.
"I agree. It seems too important to allow it to fall into their hands. " Zinnia says," But you know, the meteorite reminds me of an ancient legend that's been passed down by my ancestors, the Draconid."
"Really?" Mew asks, curiously.
"Yes," Zinnia says, "Last millennia, a huge meteoroid impacted on the surface of the planet. The land cracked. Natural energy poured out from deep beneath Hoenn. Thirsting for that bounty of power, two Legendary Pokémon, Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, fought in a series of endless, furious clashes."
"Primal Groudon and Kyogre?" Mew asks, surprised.
"Yes. They are said to be mega evolved forms of Groudon and Kyogre," Zinnia says.
"Amazing," Prof. Cozmo replies.
"What happened after that?" Mew asks.
Zinnia then explains, "My people could only watch as disaster upon disaster swept over them. So they made a wish for salvation… that Rayquaza, the Legendary Pokémon, would appear, clad in emerald light. This wish was able to bring people and Pokémon together, enabling the Legendary Pokémon to completely change its appearance."
"So Rayquaza mega evolved as well?" Mew asks.
"According to legend," Zinnia says.
She then explains, "Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre vanished into the depths of land and sea. Peace returned to the world. My people constructed the tower called the Sky Pillar, to hold the Rainbow Stone that had granted Rayquaza its power."
"Do you think the Rainbow Stone could be a Mega Stone or a Key Stone?" Mew asks.
"Maybe," Zinnia says. She then explains, "But they foretold that a meteoroid would fall on this land again. One far greater than those that had come before. Great enough to break the world forever! I spent a long time thinking about how I, someone who holds both the knowledge and the power, could protect as many people as possible."
"Oh my," Mew says.
"Yes. Of course, who knows if the prophet will be true or not, but I wait until the time comes, when one day, the meteoroid will return," Zinnia says.
"Still, that is quite the tale you have," Prof. Cozmo says.
"Thanks," Zinnia says.
Suddenly, a Golbat swoops in and snags the meteorite. The group soon turn to see the Golbat reaching Team Magma.
"It's them!" Mew says.
One of the Grunts asks, "What do we do with them?"
"Leave them. Let's go," The other Grunt says.
Then Team Magma takes their leave.
"How dare they!" Prof. Cozmo says.
"Come on, we've got to get it back, Professor," Mew says.
"I agree! We can't let them do this!" Zinnia says.
"Right!" Prof. Cozmo agrees.
Meanwhile, Team Magma finished prepping their machine.
Magma Grunt informs, "All systems are go, sir."
"Good," Homura says.
Magma Grunt 2 walks over, " Commander, a report just came in from B squad. They've secured the meteorite and are returning here."
"Bring the laser online and calibrate it," Homura says.
"Yes, sir," Magma Grunt 1 says.
"If this experiment is a success, we'll be closer to succeeding in our plot," Homura says.
Meanwhile, back in the cable car, everyone else was waiting.
"Wow, is that the wind I hear?" Max asks.
"Yeah. Sounds like it's picking up," Brock says.
Right on cue, the car starts to sway.
Max clings to May, "I'm scared!"
"Me too!" Molly says.
May comforts them, "Don't worry, I'm sure Mew and Zinnia on their way back right now."
"Our lives are passing before our eyes!" Jessie and James cry out.
"And eight of mine are, too!" Meowth adds.
Brock says, "Come on guys, hurry"
Meanwhile, the meteorite was placed into Team Magma's laser machine.
"Meteorite set, Courtney?" The Magma Grunt says.
"Check," Another Grunt says.
"Is the compartment sealed?" The Magma Grunt asks.
"Check," The female Grunt says.
The man grunt says, "Volcano System ready. Let's report to Homura."
They both do so
Homura asks, "What's the status of the Volcano System?"
"Since it's still in the test phase, we'll have to switch to manual when we hit critical mass in order to maintain control," Magma Grunt says.
"Very well. Initiate," Homura says.
"Yes, sir," Magma Grunt says.
The laser points right into the cauldron of the volcano and fires as Professor Cozmo and the girls look on from nearby.
"What's that?" Zinnia asks.
"It looks like a laser," Mew says.
"I think you're right, and I bet they're using the meteorite to give it power. They're aiming that laser right into the lava flow in the mouth of this volcano," Prof. Cozmo says.
"Right into the lava?" Mew says, shocked.
"I think you're right. It's been dormant for thousands of years. If they succeed, they'll cause Mt. Chimney to erupt," Zinnia says
"Why would they do something like that?" Mew asks.
"I don't know. If we don't stop this, they'll make the volcano erupt and everything in the area around Mt. Chimney will be in danger," Prof. Coszmo says.
"Well, we just need to sneak up to that laser and steal the meteorite out of it, and destroy the laser," Mew says.
Prof. Cozmo says, "Right. If I can create a diversion, it'll give you two the chance to pull this off."
"It might be crazy enough to work," Zinnia says.
"Then let's do it," Mew says.
The trio splits up.
"Power output at 82% and climbing. Approaching critical mass. Activating control system," Magma Grunt says and presses a button.
"Yes. Soon, the very creature that forged this volcano will awaken and be in our control," Homura says.
Meanwhile, Mew and Zinnia are in position.
"Critical mass in 20 seconds," Magma Grunt says.
Prof. Cozmo shouts, "Hey!"
All of Team Magma looks back.
"Give me back that meteorite!" Prof. Cozmo says, and throws a rock that misses hitting Homura
Homura commands, "Someone, take care of him.
Cozmo runs off, prompting Team Magma to give chase, giving Mew and Zinnia their signal.
"Here goes," Mew says.
"Let's be quick," Zinnia says.
The two two move into position while the chase continues.
"You bunch of fools; you're letting him escape!" Homura shouts.
While Homura and his admins were distracted, Mew and Zinnia peer into the machine and find the meteorite.
"Almost to critical mass. Switching control systems to manual. Power output stable, all systems go," Magma Grunt says.
As for the girls, they are having trouble opening the compartment that held the meteorite.
"It won't budge," Zinnia says.
Mew whispers, "Pikachu, try to open it with your Thunderbolt.
Pikachu does so, but the explosion catches Homura's attention, followed by an alert from the control console.
Magma Grunt notices, "We have a malfunction! Something overloaded in the control center! Power output is climbing rapidly!"
Homura soon spots Mew and Zinnia trying to break into the compartment, "I see, it's that kid again!"
Zinnia notices Homura looking in their direction, "They see us."
Homura calls out, "Stop them!"
Some grunts leap into action.
Zinnia then calls out, "Aster, I choose you!"
And with that, a Whismur comes out.
Mew calls out, "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! Eevee, use Swift!"
Zinnia then calls out, "Aster, use Shadow Ball!"
All three perform the attack and they all land at Team Magma.
Suddenly, the laser starts to go haywire due to the thunderbolt's electricity.
"We've lost control! We're in danger range!" The Magma Grunt cries out.
Meanwhile, the wind continued to pick up, swinging the cable car more violently as the passengers panicked.
Soon, Homura leaps down to the level of the girls.
"At least I'll save the meteorite," Homura says.
But before Homura can reach them, Professor Cozmo shoulder tackles him.
"Professor!" Mew says.
Prof. Cozmo says, "You're welcome, now let's go."
"But the meteorite," Zinnia says.
"Better that no one has it instead of it being used for evil," Prof. Cozmo says, and starts shoving the machine towards the lava.
Mew and Zinnia look shocked, but nods to each other, knowing that it must be done. So they help the professor push the laser towards the ledge so it will fall into the lava.
Homura cries out, "No, don't!"
The machine soon goes sliding into the lava, causing an explosion, destroying the laser and the meteorite in the process.
"Let's move out!" Homura informs the Grunts.
Then turns to see Mew, "Listen kid, or should I call you Mew."
Mew is shocked to hear it.
"I thought you seemed familiar, you're the girl who can talk to Pokemon, and made quite a name for yourself, especially dealing with an organization in Kanto. But mark my words, you will pay for this," Homura says.
Team Magma retreats.
Elsewhere, as all this is happening, Team Aqua are at the scene to see and hear what has happened.
"Commander, the meteorite is gone, along with the lazer," The Grunt says, "I guess we failed,
"Not completely," Shelly says, "We may not have gotten the meteorite, but at least we managed to slightly delay Team Magma's plan. And of course, that Pokemon speaking trainer, Mew, was proven to be useful this time around." Then turns to the Grunts, "Everyone, back to the helicopter!"

Meanwhile, Team Magma's helicopter was taking off.
"It's a shame that the experiment failed, sir," The Grunt says.
"Not as long as there's knowledge to be gained," Homura says, "We learned the limits of our Volcano System. And not only that, but the meteorite is also now permanently out of Team Aqua's hands."
Soon, Team Aqua's helicopter was taking off.
"Well, a loss for Team Magma of any sort is a win for us, the way I see it," Shelly says.
Later, the entire gang is reunited who managed to ride the cable car up the mountain.
"Glad to be on solid ground again," Max says.
"I'm glad you both are okay, too," May says.
"What exactly went down with you two and Team Magma, Mew?" Brock asks.
"And what about Team Aqua, Zinnia?" Jen asks.
"Well…" Mew says.
Prof. Cozmo says, "It's a long story, but the girls can fill you all in."
All the while, Team Rocket watches nearby.
"Well, now that they got us off of that cable car, Pikachu and Eevee are within grabbing range!" Jessie says.
"Right! It's time for Team Rocket to achieve victory!" James says.
"Dis one's going to be a landslide!" Meowth says.
"Wooobbuffet!" (You said it!) Wobbuddet says.
But thanks to Wobbuffet popping out on its own, the ledge underneath them began to crumble, sending Team Rocket sliding down.
"Guess Team Rocket's heading back down the mountain," Mew says.
"But why that way?" Max asks.
"Maybe they thought it was safer than the cable car," May says.
"Well after that, I don't plan on riding the cable car anytime soon. I'll stick to flying with my Salamence," Zinnia says.
And then the group begins laughing.
Sliding, Team Rocket cries out, "Team Rocket's sliding off again!"
Later that evening…
"Just follow Jagged Pass and you'll reach Lavaridge. And, Mew, good luck in your gym battles!" Prof. Cozmo says.
"I'll win those badges; I know I will," Mew says.
"I'm sure you will," Prof. Cozmo says, "And don't worry, your secret identity is safe."
"Thank you, Professor," Mew says.
Soon, the group departs as they say their goodbyes to Prof. Cozmo as they travel across Jagged pass.
Zinnia asks, "Hey Mew, are you and the others sure that I will accompany you for a while?"
"We don't mind at all, right gang?" Mew says.
Everyone agrees, even the Pokemon who become friends with Aster, Zinnia's Whismur.
Zinnia smiles and says, "Thanks."
With a new companion, Zinnia, Mew and the others continue to make their descent down Mt. Chimney, Mew's thoughts are only on his battle in Lavaridge Town.
