"Alright docs, I have some announcements!" Said Bugs. "After what Cooper did during the Christmas party, he has been suspended without pay for three months."

"Good riddance." Said Plucky.

"Yeah, who needs him?" Agreed Buster.

"Furthermore, the planner for the New Years party is Calamity Coyote!" Added Bugs.

Calamity pressed a button on a controller that made a balloon appear that read "yay".

"Well, Calamity is a genius with inventions so I wonder how he can host the party." Babs said.

"Perhaps by blowing all of us up along with his inventions." Said Plucky.

"Like, don't be like that, Plucky." Said Shirley, causing Plucky to look confused.

"Hey, you're... not moping around because of me anymore." He said.

Shirley sighed.

"I'm totally over that just as I am over you." She explained. "Besides, I found someone new."

"Who?" Asked Plucky.

"Don't worry about it or some junk." Shirley replied.

Calamity's party was being hosted near the desert. He got the permission from Wile E and Road Runner to host it there. He used his ACME membership card to order plenty of decorations, food, and fireworks for the party. He even ordered a firework launcher for the countdown. It was delivered by Little Beeper of all people.

"You didn't fiddle with it, right?" The sign Calamity held up read.

"Dude, this is a FanFiction." Read the sign Little Beeper held up. "You can speak if you want to."

"You're right." Calamity replied.

"And no, I didn't mess with it." Little Beeper said. "Want any help with the party?"

"Any help is appreciated." Calamity replied.

Within a flash, the decorations and food were prepared by Little Beeper. Calamity gave a thumbs up in approval. Later on during the party, Hamton was telling Plucky about how New Years parties go.

"New Year's kiss?!" Plucky exclaimed.

"Before you say anything else, remember that Shirley is over you." Hamton replied. "And besides, it's not like it's an obligation or anything."

Suddenly, two large muscular men stepped over.

"On the contrary, we are the special occasion police, and it is law to-" Began one of them.

"Get out of here!" Plucky yelled, launching the two men away by stomping on the ground then using a baseball bat to knock them away. "Say, I wonder who Shirley's new man is."

"You think it might be Furrball?" Hamton asked.

"Furrball?" Queried Plucky.

"Yeah, they have been interacting a lot these past few months." Hamton replied.

"If you two are done chatting, it's almost midnight!" Said Buster.

"Already?" Asked Plucky.

"The author wants this chapter to be released before the new year." Explained Babs. "Now get ready because it's time for the countdown!"

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The firework launcher launched the fireworks with high speed. Calamity was expecting it to explode, but mich to his relief, it didn't. Shirley took Furrball by the arms.

"Like, ready for this?" She asked lovingly.

Furrball smiled, gulped, and nodded. Shirley started holding Furrball's cheeks before the two of them shared a kiss, much to the surprise of everyone else, especially Plucky.

"Wow, I guess you were right, Hammy." Plucky replied.
