Everyone in the room was silent. Jayne finally decided to speak up again. She wasn't sure what was going on but she was determined to find out. "I'll ask again, what are you doing to my father?"

Alistair finally spoke up. "Jaynie darling this is your cousin Holly and her...man friend. They were just leaving." He had hoped this would make the two of them leave.

"Not a chance." Robert told him, he looked at their daughter standing in front of them. "Jaynie is it? I'm Robert Scorpio and this is Holly Scorpio." Robert didn't miss a beat calling Holly the name that had always belonged to her. He put his hand out to his daughter.

Jayne shook his hand. "It's actually Jayne but I like being called Jaynie. It's nice to meet you both. Did my father do something to you two?" She asked, she had been getting him out of trouble for years now. It was tiring but she felt since he was her father she had to.

"You could say that." Robert looked over at Holly who was still just staring at Jaynie, her resemblance to Robert and her was remarkable. She didn't want to hurt her, she actually hated the thought but as someone who like when people were honest with her she felt she owed it to her daughter. She handed her the papers.

"Jaynie, no!" Alistair shouted as he tried to get the papers away.

Robert stepped in front of him. "Not this time."

Jayne looked over the paper. Alistair had never even told her she was adopted. Did she give her up? If so why was she here now? "I'm confused, you gave me to your cousin and then decided to come check on me?" She asked, trying to sort this all out in her head.

Holly shook her head. "No I didn't give you up. I was in a coma. You and your brother were removed from me and both of you were given up. I didn't even know you existed."

Jayne looked over at Robert. "Did you know?" She asked him.

"No, your scuz..your family had made a deal to implant memories into your mother's mind to try to wreck us. She thought she had had an affair with my best friend and your brother was the result. I thought she was dead when she was in the coma." Robert told her, he could go more into detail and would later if she wanted but right now that summed it up.

Jayne's heart sunk, everything she knew was ripped out from underneath her. She looked at Alistair. "How could you do this? How could you hurt me like this?" She asked him, her voice breaking as she talked.

Alistair threw his hands up in the air. "You were much better off being raised by me than the likes of him. Besides I had never successfully pulled off a con before that."

Jayne was mad at those last words, that's all she was to him. A successful con job. "You disgust me, all of these years having me in boarding school, was that to make sure Holly did not see me? You know forget it. I don't believe anything that comes out of your mouth."

"Jaynie I love you, you know that you are my girl." Alistair tried to reach out to her but Robert stopped him.

"No I'm not." Jayne walked out of the room and Holly followed her.

"You see what you did to her?" Alistair tried to put the blame on Robert.

"What I did? WHAT I DID? I loved her mother with every part of my body, I mourned her, I would have been there holding her hand. Would have been the first person to hold our children but you stole that from me!" Robert was fuming, he didn't want Jayne to get hurt but he understood why Holly was honest with her.

"So you stole my daughter?" Alistair found the nerve to say.

Robert was mad, this man couldn't be for real. "My daughter. We let her see who you really were." Robert stated then went to go find Jayne and Holly.

Jayne had gone up to her room. Holly tapped on the door. "Do you mind some company?" She asked, not wanting to push things.

"Come on in." Jayne got her luggage out to pack up her things.

"I'm sorry you had to find out like that but I know I hate when people keep important things like that from me." Holly told her newfound daughter. She never wanted to hurt her but leaving her thinking she was Alistair's was hurtful too.

"Don't be, I appreciate your honesty. Obviously I've not dealt with it a lot in my life." Jaynie told Holly, she could feel she wasn't trying to be cruel to her by telling her. "I'm sorry I was stolen from you."

Holly put her hand up. "You had no control over that, you never have to apologize for that. Where are you going?" She asked her.

Jayne shrugged. "Somewhere far, far away from here. Any suggestions?"

Holly didn't want to come off as pushy, she wanted to get to know her daughter but she knew it had to be on her terms. "Well I live in Port Charles, New York with Robert and your brother, Ethan lives there too."

"I don't want to intrude on any of you." Jayne told her as she sat down.

"Oh you wouldn't be, not at all. I don't want to push but I would love to get to know you and I know your fa..Robert would love to too." Holly told her.

Jayne could sense she meant it. "Well I mean if you need a good lawyer then I'm definitely your girl."

Robert heard the comment as he approached the door. "Must run in the family."
