The tea party went a little longer than planned, but JJ and Robert still were able to fill Holly and Jayne both in at the PCPD before heading home. Robert and Holly desperately wanted to enjoy a sauna tonight.
The two of them changed into their towels and went inside, Robert uncorked the bottle of champagne while Holly got some caviar out.
"You know, I think you'd always choose that over me." Robert teased her.
Holly laughed. "Never, darling."
"That tea party lasted a while, I see our granddaughter got your knack for pouring tea." Robert went and sat down next to her, handing her a glass.
"She was so adorable. Tiff and I told her that hat was huge on her, but she wore it with such pride." Holly took the glass. "Thank you, darling."
"It's nice that Rosie did that for her. I think we all needed a little fun. Why were Sasha and Celia there?" Robert asked.
"Monica was going to spend time with them, so they had plans. They did get an invite from Rose, though." Holly informed Robert.
"Ethan said Grant was holding up okay, I really think this should all be over soon. I just want to make sure there's a period at the end this time." Robert told Holly.
"Totally understandable. I know that Celia, Grant, and Sasha all appreciate it. I do, too. You've done so much already as our Police Commissioner. I'm very proud of you." Holly gave him a loving look.
Robert was blown away by all the love he saw for him in those eyes, he always was. He pulled her hand up to his mouth and kissed it. "You get a lot of credit, not only do you help me out, but you give me so much support. We make good things happen together."
"Oh, yes, we do." Holly sat her glass down and leaned in to give him a kiss. It quickly got more and more passionate as they tossed their towels.
"I knew you were trying to seduce me." Robert teased her as he laid her back.
"Always, darling." Holly looked up at him with fire in her eyes, pulling him to her.
Robert slid inside of her as the two found their rhythm, getting completely lost in the night.
