After a shower and a sauna Robert and Holly still were staying in their own little world, comfortably resting on the bed in their robes. "You know I was going to suggest we take a day or two away for you and me time but this? It's even better." Robert said as his arms rested around Holly.

Holly smiled as her fingers ran through his chest hair. "It is, I suppose our kids, Annie and Tiff know we need some time." Holly placed a kiss on his chest.

"I know they do. I love our family time but this connection, I've just missed it. Just really missed being us, having that special person who makes me whole." Robert kissed Holly's head.

Holly's heart melted, she absolutely loved this side of him. "Do you remember all those promises we made each other in Australia? All those happy homecomings? I think that's what we have to hold onto from that time and of course when we had Robin there and conceived our children. I hope you know that Christmas when they had me believing I was with Luke I really was with Uncle Frank." Holly remembered all of that as clear as day now. She wanted to fly to Port Charles to join Robert but she stayed back to take care of their home.

"I know you were, none of that ever made sense. Even if Luke would have done it I know you never would have, we were madly in love." Robert told her, he was so relieved to know it was all a lie.

"Were? I was thinking are." Holly teased him as she kissed his chest again.

"Always have been, always will be." Robert lifted her chin to kiss her. The two of them were getting lost in each other once again when Robert's phone rang.

"I'll try to make it quick." Robert told Holly as he reached over to grab it.

Holly rested her head on his chest.

"Yeah...no it's no problem I can come in for a little while...I appreciate that but I knew what I was getting into when I took the job back." Robert ended the call and looked at Holly. "I promise I will be back as soon as I can." He gave her a kiss before getting out of bed.

"You don't have to promise that. This is a huge job getting this town back into shape. We will continue this later." Holly got up and started to get dressed herself.

Robert finished getting ready and gave Holly a kiss. "I love you so much."

Holly kissed him and placed her hand on his heart. "I love you. Be careful."

Robert nodded. "I always am."

As he left Holly couldn't help but smile at that sparkle in his eye, she never saw it when he was the DA. He loved being the police commissioner and she was just so happy for him. She went downstairs to see what everyone else in the house was up to.

"Holly! Just the person I have been waiting to see." Tiffany pulled her into a hug.

Holly laughed, she loved how Tiff was and that she never changed. "Is something going on?" She asked her.

"I have a few outfits I needed to return, the sizes are wrong. You up to coming with me?" Tiffany asked her, truth be told she wanted more one on one with Holly. She had genuinely missed her best friend.

Holly's eyes lit up at the thought of spending some time with Tiff. "That sound wonderful. Let me get my purse and we can go."

Holly went to get what she needed to while Tiff got ready to go.
