In the main security room in Dripwoof Dome, Neue had his phone to his ear while sitting down. "We have some news for you, boss." Seymour said through the phone. "The Green Ninja's with the girl."
"Then we get them both." Neue replied. "Like killing two birds with one stone. I'm sending a group your way."
"And once they get here, they'll be yours by lunchtime." Clara said through the phone.
"No, we wait." Seymour replied to her through the phone before sighing. "Clara is getting a little antsy."
"You will both wait until tonight to get ready with the plan." Neue said, angered at Clara's impatience as he stood up. "And tell Clara that her pay is now cut by 10 percent."
"Yes, sir." Neue soon hangs up before heading out of the room.
In the sketch room at Delinquents Reformed, Lloyd was looking at a sketch of himself as the Golden Ninja, taking down the Great Devourer, as Irina, wearing a green silk bathrobe, came up to him. "That one's my absolute favourite." She said as she also looked at it.
"Definitely amazing." Lloyd replied before looking at her. "So, are you going to take a shower?"
"No, late night swim." Irina soon ran out.
"What?" He puts the sketch down and runs out after her. "Irina!"
Outside, Irina takes off her robe, revealing a grey bikini as Lloyd comes outside to see Irina dive into the pool with a splash. She soon surfaced and turned to him. "Irina, you cannot do this!"
"5 minutes." She soon points to a nearby shed. "There's a few swimming trunks in there, there should be one in your size."
"What? No! I cannot grab some trunks. Are you kidding me? No."
"Join me."
"No, I'm not gonna join you."
"Why not?"
"We're targeted by a group of people who want us for their 'new' world."
"I'm not gonna stop living my life. I'm just not."
"Irina, I'm begging you. Will you please get out of the pool?"
"Really, Lloyd. You gotta live a little."
"'Live a little'? I've only known you since yesterday, I feel like there is something going on."
Irina scoffed as she moved around the pool a little. "I can't be that bad."
"Yes. You are that bad."
Irina soon swam close to him. "Fine, will you help me out at least?" She holds out her hand.
Lloyd kneels down to take Irina's hand before she soon moved back, dragging him into the pool, creating a splash and she laughs as he surfaced, completely drenched, and started to move his hair back to clear his vision. "Yes, very funny." He sarcastically spoke. "Laugh it up, Irina. Hilarious." He then felt his sword's handle on his elbow as he lowered his arms. "My sword's wet, that's just great." He heads over to the edge to remove his sword and scabbard, and placed them there while Irina laughed a little before looking at himself. "My suit!"
"You should've worn the trunks." Irina soon brought Lloyd before they soon locked lips.
On the roof, Blake looks through some binoculars and silently chuckled. "Told ya." He said into his communicator as he watched them kiss.
"I will make a mental note to give you 5 Ninjagins." Zane replied through the communicator.
"You better."
By the pool, Lloyd and Irina move back. "This is completely inappropriate." Lloyd said as they look at each other. "I mean. I'm a Ninja, I'm supposed to protect you."
"Then keep me close." She soon pulled Lloyd close again and they lock lips. Suddenly, he soon backed away and looked at her, catching a quick glimpse of Harumi. "What's wrong?"
"Uh, I can't do this." He turns to swim to the stairs.
"What?"
"I'm sorry, I just can't." He soon walked up the stairs as the water started coming off his wet gi and Irina looked on as he left and frowned.
A few minutes later, Irina was out of the pool and drying herself with a towel as Zane came up to her and hands her robe back. "Did I do something to upset Lloyd?" She takes it and puts it on.
"Before you, and after the Teal Ninja, there was this girl." Zane said. "She was the daughter of the Royal Family. Well, adopted daughter."
"Wait, you mean The Quiet One?"
"Before she revealed who she truly was, we all thought Harumi was truly the right one for Lloyd, even Gewuji thought so, until we found out about her being in the Sons of Garmadon. Turned out she was using him to get the last Oni mask so she could resurrect his father."
"So, he's the one who..."
"Yes. He did take Blake's arm. But he has forgiven him. And from what I had heard, Harumi died saving a family. The only good deed she truly did."
"Do you think he'll... move on?"
"He has. He just has not felt this type of feeling in a while." Zane soon walked away as Irina watched him leave before heading inside herself.
By the shed, Lloyd sighed as he shook himself to get the excess water off of him before squeezing the top part of his gi as Blake came up to him. "Had a nice swim with your girlfriend?" He asked, teasing him.
"She's not my girlfriend!" Lloyd replied, blushing in anger. "I, uh, fell in."
"I'm sure you did." Blake sarcastically spoke. "Zane and I actually had a bet that you would kiss Irina."
"No, she kissed me."
"Sure she did." Zane sarcastically said, teasing him as he came up to them.
"Look, just go get me some clothes. There should be some in the donation bin outside the place."
"We'll do just that." Blake said as they walk off while Lloyd picked up his wet sword and unsheathed it before turning the scabbard downward to let some water out, places it on the ground, and prepares to try and dry his sword.
Several minutes later, while his gi was getting washed, Lloyd, wearing a black unbuttoned shirt, dark green t-shirt, black track pants, and white and blue trainers while having his sword hanging from his left shoulder, was walking down the hallway before he came across Irina as she was coming out of her room while she had just put on a white t-shirt with her jeans and boots before she notices him. "I'm sorry for bringing you into the pool." She said.
"Don't mention it." He replied.
"You know, you're actually the first guy I ever kissed." She grabs a nearby brown jacket and puts it on.
"Zane told me about Harumi. And how she made you break off your relationship with the Teal Ninja. I'm really sorry."
"Don't be. I thought she cared about me. But in the end, she was the one that got away."
"So, do you know why those guys want us?"
"I'm not sure, but apparently it involves something about a new world."
"I'm sure you'll find out." Door knocking was heard by the door. "Now, who's that at this hour?"
"Be careful." Lloyd goes into a corner, got out his sword, threw the scabbard away and pressed himself against the wall beside the door while Irina went over to it.
Irina opens the door to find a parcel held out to her. "Parcel for Miss McVurti." The delivery man said.
"Uh, I didn't order anything." She replied.
"I'm pretty sure I got the right address." The delivery man lowers the box and gets out a Taser X3 before firing it and the barbs hit her neck, causing her to fall back and shake on the floor. "Find the Green Ninja, now!"
Some men and women in coloured kimonos with masks on, as well as Seymour, who now had orange fingernails, and Clara, soon came in as the fake delivery man picked up Irina. "Let her go!" Lloyd yelled as he came out to them, holding out his sword.
"Grab the Green Ninja!" Seymour yelled as the fake delivery man took Irina outside.
The men charge at Lloyd as he quickly moved down and kicked a man in a yellow kimono by his legs, knocking him down while putting a hand to his communicator. "Guys, they're here!" Zane and Blake immediately show up and put their hoods on.
"Ninjago!" Zane and Blake yelled as they ran at them.
Seymour and a woman in a black kimono charge at Zane, Seymour had limped over, as he immediately spun around before doing Spinjitzu and come at them. The woman gets knocked down before Seymour manages to get his foot into it to kick Zane, knocking him out of doing Spinjitzu and get on the ground. Blake slides underneath the legs of a young man in a grey kimono and raised his legs up over his chest, kicking him in the back and rolled back to get up and see Seymour about to stab Zane with a knife. He immediately held out his left arm, firing a gust of Wind at him. But as soon as Seymour was knocked down, a woman in a green kimono comes at him with a knife, swinging it at him, only managing to tear the front of his gi as he jumped back before raising a leg to kick the knife out of her hands. She then quickly grabbed hold of him while his leg was still raised and pushes him down. Zane, who quickly recovered from the push and the diversion that Blake made, got up and struck Seymour in the left leg, knocking him down and causing his mask to slide off as he got up, showing his face, and orange eyeshadow and lips. "Seymour Geminus-Crucis?" Zane asked, recognising the erstwhile Royal Guard, biker from the Sons of Garmadon and Kryptarium Prison escapee, despite his new appearance. "You're supposed to be in jail!"
"And you're supposed to be in the scrapyard!" Seymour sarcastically replied as he went to grab hold of his legs and forced him over him, making Zane land on his back.
