Now that the Hexsquad was together in the afterlife, they decided to check in on loved ones.

Luz started with hers, first her parents would be checked in on.

"Hi mama, hi papa," Luz said.

"Mija, so nice to see you again!" Camila exclaimed.

"We are so proud of the woman you grew up to be," Manny said.

"Papa, I've been dreaming of the day I would see you again ever since your death. Given you passed in September, I began to relate to the Green Day song 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'. The writer of the song also lost his father in September," Luz said.

"How did you like the 'Good Witch Azura' series Luz?" Manny said.

"It was the best book series I ever read. I became a popular writer and artist in adulthood. And get this – I learned how to do magic in another realm called the Demon Realm on the Boiling Isles, allow me to demonstrate some of what I learned," Luz said.

Luz did some demonstrations for her father, who was amazed.

"Luz, I had no idea you went into this other realm, but you learned quite a lot there," Manny said.

"Mija, us being a family again in death will allow us to do a lot of catching up," Camila said.

"Yes indeed, but there are some other loved ones I have to check in on," Luz said.

"I know, Eda and King," Camila said.

Luz checked in on her adoptive family from the Boiling Isles next.

"Eda, King, nice to see you again," Luz said.

"Hi Kiddo," Eda said.

"Boo Boo Buddy! I've been waiting for this moment a long time!" King said.

"I've been waiting too. Death tends to bring out the best in loved ones who have been separated a long time," Luz said.

"Though I never got my magic back, seeing you learn everything possible in magic made me so proud," Eda said.

"And I served as a fitting successor to my father," King said.

"Who lives in the Owl House now by the way?" Luz asked.

"I think one of your descendants does. They are following in your footsteps and learning wild magic," Eda said.

"I will be so proud of them," Luz said.

Luz's wife Amity checked in on her family. Being the youngest of her siblings, both of them as well as their parents predeceased Amity.

"Amity, nice to see you," Odalia said.

"We are so proud of the witch you grew up to be," Alador said.

"Amity! Long time no see!" Emira exclaimed.

"We're a family again," Edric said.

"Yeah, I lived a nice life after the Boiling Isles were repaired. Of course I did make those visits from my homes in Los Angeles through the doors that magically appeared in the homes I lived in with Luz and our kids. We all did. Being the last of us five to pass, I couldn't wait to see you all again. But hey, 91 years is a long time to live," Amity said.

"Emira and Edric have descendants living on the Boiling Isles now. You should have the co-Guardians take you to see them sometime." Alador said.

"They would love to meet you any way they can," Odalia said.

"I'll see if they'll do it," Amity said.

Hunter had only one loved one outside of the family he started with Willow in adulthood. And they were quite an important one.

A small red cardinal flew over to him and perched himself upon his right shoulder. "Flapjack, it's been so long," Hunter said. "Losing you was the most devastating thing I went through. But now we're together again. I'm never letting you leave my side again."

Willow checked in on her fathers, Gilbert and Harvey, who adopted her after her birth parents died while she was an infant.

"Dads, I'm here finally," Willow said.

"Willow, bring it in!" Gilbert said.

"We missed you so much," Harvey said.

"I've been waiting to see you too. Me and Hunter raised a family together. None of our kids have passed on, but you should meet them when they do," Willow said.

"We are proud of everything you accomplished in adulthood," Gilbert said.

"And we are glad to have such a nice man as a son-in-law," Harvey said.

Gus checked in on his father, Perry.

"Hey dad, it's me, Gus," Gus said.

"Son, you have no idea how glad I am to see you," Perry said.

"I grew up to be a fine young man," Gus said.

"You sure did," Perry said.

"How have you been since your death, dad?" Gus asked.

"Fine, other than a long wait to see you again," Perry said.

"Well I'm here now, and that's what matters," Gus said.

Mattholomule checked on his half-brother Steve.

"Hi Steve," Mattholomule said.

"Hi Matt," Steve said.

"I've been waiting to see you again. We can be brothers again," Mattholomule said.

"I want that more than anything else in all of existence, wanna hang out?" Steve said.

"Sure thing bro," Mattholomule said.
