After talking to the authorities, the family went back to the hotel. Holly insisted Barry stay there in fear that someone in the family might try to hurt him. They were all in Robert and Holly's room. Holly gave Jayne a pair of clothes to change into, even though she was a little bit shorter than Jayne, they still fit good.
"You should have seen her, she knew where that room was, knew how to get out and asked no questions. Reminded me a lot of when we were younger Holly." Barry was so proud of how Jayne handled it.
"Reminds me a lot of her father, too." Holly smiled over at Robert, so happy that their family was alright.
"When I was trying to get her attention she didn't know who I was and told Barry to run, she went above and beyond to protect her family. That sounds a lot like her mother." Robert put an arm around Jayne, he was very proud of his younger daughter.
"Sounds a lot like you, too." Holly was equally as proud, she knew her daughter had a good heart but it still surprised her how far she would go to protect the ones she loves.
JJ sat across the room, admiring his future wife. "I'm very proud of you too. I forget how good you are at this stuff some times and then you remind me."
Jayne shook her head, not wanting all this attention. "I wouldn't have been able to do any of it if it weren't for you all, so thank you. I meant what I said dad, I am your daughter. You are the only father I will ever know."
Robert gave Jayne a hug. "I know that, babe. You know I think you could use some rest, we all probably could."
"Do you want to stay in here with your parents or with me?" JJ asked, he wanted Jayne to feel safe after everything she went through.
"With you." Jayne gave both of her parents hugs. "I love you both and I will see you in the morning."
"Count on that." Robert replied as the two of them left the room. Annie following shortly after. Robert walked over to Barry. "I want to thank you for helping Jayne."
"You never have to thank me. She's my family. I would do anything for her." Barry told Robert as he looked over at Holly. "The same goes for you."
Holly went over and gave him a hug. "You know the feeling it mutual."
"I meant what I said, what do you think about coming back to Port Charles with us?" Robert asked Barry, he wanted to get to know him better and he wanted him around for Holly and Jayne.
"Soon enough, I have to take care of some stuff here. Right now I need a shower and a sleep." Barry told them. He couldn't leave until he knew everything was taken care of here. He wouldn't.
