Barry had been asleep in his hospital bed. There were guards watching him, he figured it had to do with his dear cousin's husband looking out for him so he didn't ask too many questions. The more he thought of it the more he wondered if he should though. He had lived a colorful life, maybe it had caught up to him?
He was about to get out of bed when Holly walked in the door. "Where do you think you are going?" She asked him as she walked over to make sure he stayed settled.
"What in the devil are you doing here?" Barry asked her, he was happy to see her but also confused.
"I'm here to bring you back home with us." Holly told Barry as she looked at him. "Jayne sends her love, she can't wait to see you."
"Are those guys out there because of Robert?" Barry asked as he laid back in the bed.
"Yes, what did you think they were here to get you?" Holly asked him, kind of amused.
"Holly, you of all people know I've lived a colorful life. It never hurts to be careful." Barry told Holly as he sat up in the bed a little more. "Now, why are you here?"
"To bring you back home with us. We appreciate everything you are doing here but it's too dangerous. Jayne and I need you." Holly was hoping Barry would see that she was speaking from the heart.
Barry would usually try to argue, he was making progress but to be honest he was starting to fear for his life. He was grateful Holly was here to help him. "I agree. I can try to help from there. I want to go home with you."
Robert walked in the hospital room. "Well I'm glad to hear that. We all want you there."
Barry held out his hand to shake Robert's. "I appreciate this. I wish I could finish up here but I think I will end up finished."
"There's no point in that, I know our family doesn't want that. I'm getting everything set up. They couldn't tell me much about your health." Robert went over and sat in the chair next to Holly's.
"I'm really okay, the crash scratched me up, gave me a concussion but I'm doing a lot better than I was the first day I was in here." Barry told them.
Holly immediately thought back to their crash all those years ago but quickly tried to push it out of her mind. She was sure the family wanted her to do that. "Why don't we call Jayne so that she can see you are alright, are you up for that?" Holly asked Barry.
Barry couldn't hide his grin as he nodded. "You know I'm always up to talking to Jayne."
Holly FaceTimed her and gave the phone to Barry as she walked over to Robert.
"I saw your face when he mentioned the crash, are you alright?" Robert asked Holly as he took her hand.
"Yes, I refuse to let them mess with my head anymore than they have. Do you think we can get Barry out of here soon and get headed back home?" Holly asked.
Robert nodded. "As soon as we can, luv."
