Chapter 3: The Bard, Boboiboy's Elemental Power
Last time on Boboiboy x Genshin impact, Amber brought them to the high ground, she gave them the Wind Gliders as the reward for helping her. They're testing those out. Suddenly, the sky turned dark as the dragon appears and attacks the city with some tornado. They tried to avoid them but Lumine got pulled in. Boboiboy noticed and decided to help her out. They managed to defeat the dragon. They landing down on the high ground as someone clapping their hands. They turned and saw a man, who's clapping. It's Kaeya
He asked them that The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius Jean wanted to meet them. Once he brought them to Jean. Jean started explaining the mission that they have to deal with. So they decide to split up and go to one of the Temple. Kaeya told him as Boboiboy follows him to the Temple
Once they get there, they entering and dealing some Hilichurls. They continue walking until they found something, a red floating called Time Trial Challenge. Kaeya explained it to him so they are ready to challenge. Kaeya touched it as some hilichurls and few creatures called Abyss Mages. They are surrounding, but as for Boboiboy, he decided to use Splitting to deal with all of them. Well, he didn't want to use it but he has no choice. When he finished dealing with them, he decided to tell Kaeya about his Elemental Power except fusion
When they finished the mission, Kaeya told Boboiboy that Boboiboy should go, because he has some business to deal with. As Boboiboy nodded and left to the Mondstadt until he met Lumine and Paimon again. They decided to go the headquarters to show something to Jean and Lisa
Right now, they are discussing something
-Mini Timeskip before Kaeya telling Jean, Lisa, and Amber-
As three of them walking out of the headquarters. Paimon stopped and told her "There's something you didn't tell them. The dragon and the crystal weren't the only things we saw"
"I know. About the guy earlier..." Lumine said as Boboiboy answered with her "I don't think that guy is a bad guy at all. But it looks like he knew about the dragon"
"I agree with Boboiboy. Something is telling us that he knew about it"
"Yeah, and also. About the green guy we saw earlier. He looked just like that guy down there!" Paimon pointed at the guy, who is running
"Wait! It is him!" Boboiboy realized
"Huh! It's him?!" Paimon surprised
"He's running! We need to follow him!" Lumine told them as they jump down and follow the path that the green guy walking but he's gone
"That green guy disappeared!" Paimon said
"What should we do? Split up?" Boboiboy asked
"No need. Lumine, since you have Anemo, you can use Elemental Sight to track him down" Paimon told her. "Ok. Let me try"
As Lumine closes her eyes, and she focuses on Elemental Sight. She opens her eyes and finds the footprints
"This way!" Lumine told them and they followed her the path that she's walking. They continue following the footprints but the footprints stop by the wall
"His footprints lead to this wall. Did he climb up from here?" Paimon held her chin to think
"My guess is He's on the high ground" Lumine answered. "Let's go after him!" Boboiboy told them as they walking to the high ground until they found many people are standing and listening to the boy from earlier. He's playing the lyre and telling the story to people
A young boy with fair skin and a slim build. His eyes are aqua green which also resembles the sky and the grass. He has dark blue hair that borders on black, with short twin braids that fade into aqua at the tips
He wears a frilly white top with a corset-like leather midsection, along with teal shorts with gold embroidery, a matching teal cape held together by a deep blue and gold bow. He also wears white stockings with three gold diamond shapes along each leg and a beret-like hat with a Cecilia, which is his favorite flower. He carries a wooden lyre with blue strings and cecilias imbued with the power of Anemo
"What is to be sung transpired in days of yore. When the divine archons still walked the earth. A dragon cast his curious gaze on the world below. As he parted from the heavens that gave his birth. The dragon sought truth amongst common folk. But mortal trifles only fogged his mind. The windborne bard strummed his strings dolce. And the Holy Lyre answered his questions kind. The dragon was but a child full of wonder. The bard's songs invited him to sing along. For he yearned to let all perceive him fair. Enchanting legends the bard and dragon were. But the tides of despair soon engulfed the land. The lion fang perished and the falcon flag slept. As a vile dragon approached Mondstadt in lone stand. Over the Cathedral loomed death and his friends. Of the people's agony the bard soon sang. The soaring dragon heeded his grave calls. And amidst the windstorms a brutal war sprang. Blood of venom sent the sky dragon into slumber. Only to awake to be expelled in abhor. "Why do people in this age loathe me so?". But the Holy Lyre replied no more. Wrath and woe, vigor and venom. Poured from the dragon's bitter eyes. The dragon's curse sprawled in silence. But the Lyre could no longer soothe his cries" the boy explained as the knight shows up and tells everyone to go home. The boy puts back his lyre and notices three of them
"Wait, you guys are... Oh, that's right! You're the ones that scared Dvalin away" the boy referred to Lumine
"Huh? Dvalin? Who's Dvalin?" Boboiboy asked him
"I think is Stormterror's real name" Lumine replied
"Huh?... Oh, right. Most people seem to call him "Stormterror"" Paimon just realized and turned to the boy "Why do you call him?"
"Are you two knowing each other?" Boboiboy asked him with Paimon
"Oh, yes we're knowing each other..." the boy said nervously
"Hey, Lumine, Boboiboy. Paimon thinks this guy has a screw loose..." Paimon suspected him
"Paimon. I told you. He doesn't look bad guy at all" Boboiboy told her. "But Paimon still doesn't trust him"
"I'm sorry about Paimon. So you are...?" Lumine asked the boy
"I'm Venti the bard. Three-time winner of the "Most Popular Bard of Mondstadt" to be precise" Venti introduced himself and asked them "So, what do you need from me?"
"Given you recognize us, Paimon doesn't believe we need to explain any further" Paimon said with arm-crossed. "About what?"
"Of course it's about Stormterror" Paimon replied. "Storm...?"
"Hey! Cut it with the amnesia act!" Paimon said annoyed
"Paimon. Calm down" Boboiboy calmed Paimon. "Fine. Lumine, show it to him"
"Ok" Lumine pulled out the red crystal but the crystal turned into blue
"Oh! Isn't this-" Venti realized what is it but got interrupted
"What?! The crystal has been purified!? When?" Paimon asked in confusion
"We're not sure how this happened. The last time we checked, it was full of impurities" Boboiboy held his chin
"Dvalin, he..." Venti worried "The anguish he feels... has brought him to tears..."
"Tears?" Three of them asked
Venti held out another crystal but it's red, Venti started explained "He was once such a gentle child. Now so full of rage and suffering..."
"I also came across a Teardrop Crystal. Can you purify it?" Venti gave her the crystal "Sure"
The red crystal started glowing and slowly turning to blue crystal
"Ehhhh!?" Paimon titled in confusion
"You... really do have some wonderful abilities..." Venti commented "Someone like you is going to end up getting written into a bard's poem"
"Oh, a hero so bright, should he stand in the light. Though stand in the shade, and you'll be met by a blade..." Venti continued "Alas... I've really not the time to compose a melody for you at this moment"
"Anyway, even if Dvalin is not taken down, his life will still wither away in the breeze... He'll burn himself out in the flame of anger..." Venti said in saddened
"We feel sorry for Dvalin" Boboiboy and two of them felt worried. "It's ok..."
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Lumine asked. "I really must thank you for purifying the teardrop crystal, it has helped me greatly" Venti appreciated "But I've already come to devise my own plan"
"Oh? And what plan would that be?" Paimon held her chin and still suspected of Venti
"Seeing this tear has brought to mind a friend so dear" Venti replied. "Friend?"
"Hey, Paimon. That's rude" Lumine told her and Boboiboy nodded in agreement
"Heh-heh, one must be going" Vennti was about to go but got stopped by Paimon. "Hey! Where're you running off to!?"
"To the "Symbol of Monstadt's Hero." Bye-Bye~" Venti waved at them and walked away
"Huh... Lumine, what do you make of that?" Paimon asked her
"This "weirdo" as you put it - we need to keep an eye on him..." Lumine replied
"As far as he's concerned, you're a weirdo too ya know..." Paimon told her. "You know...". "Know what?"
"His voice seems familiar..." Lumine mentioned
"Familiar? You met him somewhere?" Boboiboy confused "I'm not sure but I guess I'll find it out later"
"Ok, back to the business. Did he just say "Symbol of Monstadt's Heroes"? What could that be?" Paimon held her chin and she realized what it means "Oh, Paimon knows! It's that huge tree"
Boboiboy and Lumine looked at Paimon in confusion until she says "You know, the gigantic one! You can't miss it, surely you still remember!"
"Yes, I remember it when we were walking back to Mondstadt" Lumine said. "He must be there! Let's go-" before Boboiboy finished the sentence, someone called him "Boboiboy!"
They turned and saw Jean, Lisa, and Amber. "Oh, hey everyone. Is something wrong?"
"Well, yes. We have some problems. Amber just found the hilichurl's camp" Jean told him
"They brought some Mitachurls" Amber answered with her
"We're thinking that we could use some help of you since you are fitting with this. Can you help us, cutie?" Lisa asked him with a smile
"Oh, sure! I can help!" Boboiboy accepted
"Huh?! H-Hey! What about us-" Paimon got interrupted by her stomach. She hugged her stomach and she felt embarrassed "Nevermind. Paimon is really hungry"
"I guess I'm taking you somewhere to eat" Lumine looked at her as Amber tells them "There's a food stall Good Hunter. It's from fountain plaza. Just go there and you will find it"
"Thanks, Amber. I'm taking Paimon to the food stall while you're helping them out" Lumine told him. "Ok. So, where is Hilichurl's camp?"
"C'mon on. We will show you where is it?" Jean replied as Boboiboy nodded and followed them
Timeskip to Starfell Valley
They continued walking until Amber found hilichurl's camp.
"There. It's there. Everyone get down" Amber told them as they hide from the bush and peek out a little. There are some hilichurls (a few with shield and wooden stick, a few with the bow), a few Mitachurls (one with the shield and one with the axe), and a few Abyss Mages (white and red)
"Wow, that's too many. You aren't kidding" Boboiboy said. "Told you, cutie"
"We knew we can't handle this so that's why we are asking you. They even brought Abyss Mages too. Are you ready, Boboiboy?" Jean asked him and he nodded "I'm ready"
"Ok. I count it on 3 and we'll start attacking"
"1... 2... 3!" they got out of the bush and started attacking. Jean summons the sword, starts slashing them. Lisa summons out her catalyst and sends out the purple lightning on them. Amber summons out the bow and starts shooting at hilichurls. Boboiboy starts using elements "Elemental Power! Boboiboy Fire!"
"Have some of this! Flaming Punch!" Fire released fire punch at Mitachurl with the shield but he blocked it and the shield got fire. He tries putting the fire down, the Abyss Mage and some hilichurls start helping Mitachurl out. The Abyss Mage sends out some ice spikes but Fire dodges
"No use! Rapid Fiery Punches!" Fire released many fire punches rapidly. That made Abyss Mage and Mitachurl's shield broke. Fire keeps releasing fire punches at them until they got knocked unconscious.
Lisa sends out purple lightning at Hilichurls and red Abyss Mage. And she starts using her Elemental Skill "Ara ara. You are a little shy, aren't you?" She charged up from the sky and released it. The thunder from the sky shocking them. They all get electric. She didn't notice there are some hilichurls from behind
Hilichurls tried to hit her but got stunned, they are on the ground and can't move. Lisa just noticed from behind, they are covered with shurikens-like leaves
" Ara. I didn't see they are attacking from behind. But they go stunned. Who's did this?" Lisa said and turned to Boboiboy, whose clothes turned green "It was me, miss Lisa. Are you ok?"
"I'm fine, cutie. Are you using...?" Lisa asked as Boboiboy answered "Yes! I am Boboiboy Leaf!"
'Ara ara. He looks so cute though' Lisa found out he looks so cute. "Let's help others" "Ok!"
Jean and Amber are dealing with Mitachurl and Hilichurls but they are in trouble
"We're surrounded" Amber looked around from them. Hilichurls with the bow started shooting at them but they got deflected back. "Leaf Whirlwind!" Leaf summoned some leaves around Jean and Amber to protect them and deflect the arrows back. They all got shot by their own arrows. They yelled in pain and got electric by Lisa
"Lisa, and Boboiboy?" Jean looked at Boboiboy. "Master Jean and Amber! Are you alright?!"
"We're fine. Thank you for defending us" Amber thanked him. "We're not done yet" Jean told them as they turned to Mitachurl with the axe. He is ready to swing the axe at them. "Huh? Take this! Itchy Leaf Blades!" Leaf summoned two small blades-like leaves and threw them at Mitachurl's both arms
Mitachurl got itchy, he let go of the axe and tries to pull the blades but. "Oh no, you don't! I'm tying you up! Woven Leaf Trap!" Leaf sends forth strands of weaving leaves to ensnare the Mitachurl."There! With that, you won't be able to move!" Leaf said and gave a warm smile (he was tied up the same way as Captain Separo)
Mitachurl is still feeling itchy because he can't pull the blades out. Mitachurl is sobbing and felt like he is being tortured
"Wow. So, this is his Dendro element" Amber felt amazed
"Indeed. But there is still one element left. *sigh* I will never get to study about the light element" Lisa felt a little bit of disappointment
"Well, look like we have clear their camp. We should get bac-" before Jean finished her sentence, they were surprised. There is one huge giant robot
"What?! A Ruin Guard?!" Amber shocked
"Where did this come from?! Perhaps is..." Jean was even shocked too
"Over there! It must be them!" Boboiboy pointed at the bush. And slowly revealed three different Abyss Mages (white, red, and blue)
"It seems they are the one who's summoning this" Lisa said as more Hilichurls and Mitchurls appears
"This is bad. We're trapped" Jean looked around that they're surrounded
"Look like I have no choice!" Boboiboy started using his split
"Boboiboy... Hepta Split!" The circle appeared with 7 logos elements as they jumped out with different color clothes
"Attack!" The leader of Element told them
Lightning summoned two swords and charged up his speed "Lightning Speed!" he sprinted and slashed some of them
"Have some of this! Rapid-fire Attack!" Fire jumped in the air and released all of the fire punches and kicks at them. It caused some explosive
Water got surrounded as he smirked and gathered the water around him "Water Pressure!" He slams on the ground and shoots out multiple columns of water to blast hilichurls at high pressure
"Hehe. Wind Spheres!" Wind summons the wind spheres and throws at them. That causes them to fly away
All of Hilichurl, Mitachurls, and Abyss Mages have been defeated. All left is Ruin Guard. Jean, Lisa, and Amber are taking it down but nothing work
Earth noticed and told his siblings "Guys! Help them!"
Earth punches down the ground with both of his fists "Earth Grab!". The ground is shaking as the earth comes out and grab two feet
The Ruin Guard tries to destroy it. "Creeping Vines!" Leaf summons some vines and grabs his hands. "Eeeuuggh. Do it, Light!"
"Maximum Light Finger Shot!" Light concentrates his light energy into his index finger and shoots the Ruin Guard, making it fall. Something is appearing in the sky, revealing Fire and Lighting
"Take this!" Both of them said
"Multiple Lightning Swords!" Lighting summons multiple swords and throws at it
"Multiple Fire Balls!" Fire summons a lot of fireballs and throws at it
The Ruin Guard got completely destroyed, every part of Ruin Guard are everywhere
All seven of them started glowing and combined into one. Boboiboy back to himself
Jean, Lisa, and Amber are shocked and surprised by his Elemental Powers
"... I guess Kaeya isn't kidding at all" Jean said
"Indeed. I have finally seen his Light element" Lisa felt happy
"Boboiboy!" Amber called him. "Hmm?"
"That was your splitting, right?" Amber asked
"Yes, it was... I guess I will have to explain everything about that" Boboiboy felt a little bit guilty
"No need to explain. Kaeya has already told us" Jean told him as Boboiboy was surprised "Eh?! He told you three about my Elemental Powers?"
"Yes, he has already told us. He even told us that you had evolved form" Lisa said with a warm smile
"May we see it?" Jean asked
"... Ok. Boboiboy Hepta Split!" The circle appeared with 7 logos elements as they jumped out with different clothes
'So this is his evolved form of elements' Three of them thought
"Care to explain about it?"Jean asked
"Well, all we know is they are stronger than the normal form. I take that Kaeya didn't tell you more about my split right?" Quake said
"Well, yes. Tell us more about split"
"Essentially the elemental split produces 'copies', but still pertaining to each form that is called upon. Therefore, the elemental forms are their own people, each with a unique personality that in one way or other ties back our original personality" Quake said
"During the elemental split, we also use our own elemental names too" Thunderstorm added
"That's a lot easier to differentiate us since you basically can't call the seven of us with Boboiboy, right?" Cyclone grinned
"Wow, so why don't you introduce yourself and others?" Jean asked
"Okay. Then I'll be starting first! I'm Quake! The leader of the elemental sibling" Quake, the topaz-eyed boy politely introduced himself
"I'm Cyclone! It's really nice to meet you!" The blue-eyed boy introduced while doing the 'Tehee!' gesture
Lisa giggled "That's pretty cute" Lisa noticed Thunderstorm, who is looking away with arms-crossed. "What's your name, cutie?"
"Thunderstorm" Thunderstorm turning away coldly after his simple introduction
"Hey, don't be such rude! Don't worry about him! He's just a bit edgy but it doesn't mean he hates you or something!" Cyclone explained
"Yeah! Thunderstorm is always shy as ever!" Thorn added
"You call that shy?" Solar sweat dropped
'He's a shy type, huh? This is going to be fun' Lisa thought evilness and started teasing him "Well, aren't you shy one?"
"What?" Thunderstorm confused
"How about I helping you with that?" Lisa tried to seduce him a little. Thunderstorm is shivering a little and felt a little bit chill from behind (Sorry, I don't know how to write about teasing)
"Ok ok. You can stop now, Lisa. You are making him uncomfortable. Continue introducing" Amber told them
Blaze marched forward, hands of his hip. "I'm the Mighty Fire User, Blaze-dono! Bow down before me!" The orange-themed boy said proudly. They were confused a little about his introduction
"His name is Blaze. He can be cocky in the battle but sometimes he gets angry easily. So be careful with him" Solar warned them and they nodded understand
"Geez, you guys are so loud" Ice whined "It's almost night can't we sleep now?" He asked
"NO!" The elemental sibling replied
"Fine— By the way, my name is Ice. Probably, you know me as Water back then. Nevertheless, I'm still sleepy in both forms" The aquamarine-eyed boy yawned
They sweatdropped at this and they have no idea how did he get the whale plush
"Oh! Me next! I'm Thorn! I like cats and plants! It's nice meeting you three!" Thorn smiled, giving off a pleasant yet childish aura
"OMG! You're so cute!" Lisa hugged him
"Hehe..." The spotlight was now on Solar as he adjusted his yellow shades. "I'm Solar, the most powerful among the elements" He said smugly, nose up high. "I'm bright, intelligent, and of course strong"
Krik... Krik... Krik...
They sweatdropped at this scene
"*Sigh* Said who the one is cocky" Blaze said
"Ok. Look like we have finished the introduction so we can go back now?" Quake asked
"Oh.. Y-yes. We finish here. Everyone can go back to your own now. Thanks for introducing, Boboiboy" Jean thanked
"Just call me Quake while I'm on this form or split" Quake told her "R-right"
All seven of them started glowing and combined into one. Boboiboy has returned to his original form. All of them started walking back to Mondstadt
-Timeskip to Mondstadt-
They are on their way to Monstadt. All four of them finally made it to Monstadt entrance until they found Lumine and Paimon, who is walking out and greeting them
"Oh, Lumine and Paimon, Have you guys done eating?" Boboiboy waved at them
"Yes, We've done eating. As for Paimon, she spent so much Mora on food. Now, we're going to need some Mora here" Lumine looked at her with blank-look
"Hey, Paimon is just very hungry! You know!" Paimon whined
"Hehe. Awesome (Terbaik)" Boboiboy gave them thumb-up
"So, you guys have finished with hilichurl's camp?" Lumine asked
"Yes. We have done with them. It's really hard" Amber replied
"Not only that, the Abyss Mages. They even summoned the Ruin Guard. And we got surrounded" Jean added as two of them were surprised
"But luckily, we are alive. Thanks to this cutie, he split himself and deal all of them even the Ruin Guard" Lisa gave him a warm smile
"HeHeHe. It was nothing" Boboiboy scratches his cheek, felt embarrassed a little
"Well, since he has helped us. Here some Mora" Jean handed Lumine a bag of Mora "We're going back to do our things. See you soon"
"Bye guys" Amber waved at them and running away
"I'm going back to the library. It was nice to know your Elemental Powers. And I hope we meet again, cutie~" Lisa winked at Boboiboy because you know Thunderstorm. Boboiboy blushed a little while Lisa walking away
"So, shall we going to the Windrise?" Lumine asked
-Mini Timeskip to Windrise-
Three of them are having a conversation until they reach the big tree. They saw Venti is standing there so they go to greet him
"Hi there, Venti!" Boboiboy greeted him
"Huh? Oh? What are you doing here?" Venti asked, "Though I was just wondering if you would happen to follow me..."
"We want to know more about the Anemo God" Lumine replied
"You speak of the God of Anemo, Barbatos? He already disappeared from Mondstadt a long time ago. Liyue and Inazuma's respective gods of Geo and Electro are still present, but Mondstadt has seen many a moon since they last saw their own god" Venti explained. When Wind heard this, he felt a little bit depressed that Anemo God has been disappeared. Fire and Leaf tried to cheer him up
"Why do you wish to know about the God of Anemo? Does it have something to do with Dvalin?" Venti asked them
"Oh... ahhh... It's because gods..." Paimon tried to tell him
"Yes, someone told me about Dvalin's past" Lumine told him
"Just how is it that everyone sees Stormterror? I'm quite curious. That said, there's no need to rush... I have not been back in a while, it seems there are a few who are unhappy with arrival" Venti told them
"What?" Three of them were confused, they turned around and understand what Venti said. they saw the ball-like wind and covered with some rock
The wind around the big tree starts blowing. Everyone cover their eyes because the strong wind
"The wind... I can't... open my eyes..." Paimon said. "What is a creature like doing out here in such a calm place?"
"We don't know what is it doing?" Lumine told her
"We need to deal with this thing. It's going to destroy us" Bobobiboy said and used his element "Elemental Power! Boboiboy Earth!"
The Eye of Storm charged wind up, covered itself with the rock from it. Eye of Storm does spin towards them. Earth notices and punches the with both of his fists "Earth Barrier!" The strong wall of earth protects them
Lumine jumped out and slashed it. But it takes only a few damages
"Take this! Earth Punch!" Earth punches the ground as the earth from the ground hits the Eye of Storm. The Eye of Storm isn't dead yer
"Damm. This thing cannot die. Not only that, it's hard to kill it from the air" Lumine said
"I guess I'll have to use this. Elemental Power! Boboiboy Cyclone!" His clothes changed into new ones. He came out with a Cyclone Hoverboard
"Boboiboy Cyclone is here!" Cyclone cheered loudly
"Ehh?!" Lumine and Paimon looked at his new form 'Is this his second tier of elements?'. As for Venti, he looked at Cyclone. It looked familiar to him
"Begone! Whirling Cyclone!" Cyclone used his wind force and released a strong wind towards the Eye of Storm. The Eye of Storm got pulled in and flew far away from here. "Bye Bye~!"
Cyclone flew down and reversed back to original form. Lumine and Paimon came to him
"That was amazing!" Paimon said excitedly
"So, that was the second tier of your wind element?" Lumine asked
"Yep, it is" Boboiboy answered
"Excuse me. Sorry for interrupting. What was that? You changed into Geo and now Anemo" Venti asked
"Ok. This is very long to explain..." Boboiboy started to explain everything about his Elemental Power except fusion. Venti is surprised that he has never met someone like him who can wield that kind of power
"I see. This is the first time I have met someone like you who can wield that kind of power. It's very rare. But if those powers are put into the wrong hands, it's a very threat for Tevyat" Venti commented
"Okay. Back to business. Seems the dragon wasn't the only thing affected by this change in the wind... Now then, you were saying someone had told you about the dragon?" Venti said as Lumine nodded and told everything
"Is that so? Quite the scholar I must say, that Lisa. She's not wrong. The conflict has reached this point, only because both sides have resorted to the use of force. His hate, however, did not arise from the people not making a tribute to The Four Winds. Nor was it born from his own nature, but instead came about as a product of his degradation" Venti explained
"Degra... dation?" Paimon confused
"The black blood flowing through his heart has been torturing him for years. That's what has allowed him to be led astray by the lies of the Abyss Mage" Venti told them
"Abyss Mage? Never heard of such a name" Lumine said
"Abyss Mage? Well, I saw a few of them back in Temple. They are a creature with staff that has on elements" Boboiboy told them. "Really?" "Yeah, I saw more of them in hilichurl's camp too"
