Chapter 16: Boboiboy Thunderstorm vs Raiden Shogun (Battle of The Lightning)
Two days after they helped Ayaka and Yoimiya
Lumine, Boboiboy, and Paimon are walking around Inazuma
"Inazuma's not such a bad place, Paimon's having a pretty good time! But... we should probably go and see about the "next operation" that Thoma and Ayaka were talking about, right?" Paimona asked
"As usual, it's the first stop, Komore Teahouse. Are you two ready to head over?"
"Yes." Lumine nodded
"I'm ready as ever." Boboiboy said as they went to Komore Teahouse
-At Komore Teahouse-
Once they enter the Teahouse, they greet the dog. The strange thing is the place seems empty
"Thoma. We have arrived. Are you here?" Boboiboy called out but no response
Krik... Krik... Krik...
"How strange... It's never this quiet here." Paimon said
"Woof, woof... woof!" Taroumaru, the dog, suddenly barked which gained the three's attention
"Thoma's playing his ventriloquist game again, huh?" Paimon sighed before calling him out "Thoma... Thoma..."
There was no reply as Taroumaru continued barking "Woof! Woof! ...Woof!"
"Hey, you can come out now... Paimon's seen you already..." Paimon frowned "Huh, not a peep... Ugh, so where the heck is he, then?"
"Thoma!? Are you here!?" Boboiboy called out again but still no response
"Woof, woof, woof! Woof!"
"Huh? What's got Taroumaru so worked up today? He's always such a good boy..." Paimon wondered
The three continue to look around until they hear rushed footsteps. They turn to the source, only to see Ayaka running towards them with a worried look on her face.
"Hello, have either of you seen Thoma?" Ayaka immediately asked
"No, we thought he'd be with you! Why, has something happened?"
"Then it as I feared... On the way here, I heard that Thoma had been taken away by the Tenryou Commission. I wasn't certain whether it was true, so I came right here. The fact that he hasn't arrived here as we arranged suggests that it is true.
The Raiden Shogun is holding a Vision Hunt Ceremony at the Statue of the Omnipresent God today, to mark the 100th Vision seized under the decree. And the 100th Vision bearer in question... the one who will have their Vision seized, I fear... is Thoma."
Ayaka told them which made them surprised
"Hold up a second... So the ceremony that Thoma said the Tenryou Commission was busy preparing for... that was this Vision Hunt Ceremony? And he was the target all along?" Paimon asked
"...I believe so. The shogun and the Tenryou Commission see the ceremony as a milestone. With the 100th Vision, they wish to mark the success of the Vision Hunt Decree to date." Ayaka shook her head and spoke firmly "This cannot happen. I must go and rescue him!"
Taroumaru excitedly barked "Woof, woof! Woof!"
"Wait, Ayaka. You can't go. You are the Shirasagi Himegimi." Boboiboy told her
"Yeah! Like it or not, you represent the whole Yashiro Commission. So if you go and pull a stunt like that, you're basically declaring you and the Raiden Shogun are enemies now, right? And by doing it so publicly, you might be implicating a lot of other people from the Yashiro Commission, too..."
Paimon reminded. Ayaka looked down in sad
"There is no other option... I must act with haste — the ceremony is about to begin. I will not abandon Thoma like this. He is my friend! To think that not long ago, we were... all eating hotpot together..."
"He is our friend, too. We will save him." Lumine declared
"But..." Ayaka looked shocked
"It's alright, Ayaka. We will be fine." Boboiboy calmed her down
Lumine softly smiled "You said it yourself. No time to delay."
"...Okay, I'll... wait here for your return. Get back safely." Ayaka said with a gentle smile
"Don't worry, Ayaka. A friend's life is on the line — we ain't about to mess this up!" Paimon said
"Boboiboy. Let's be careful." Ayaka said in worry
"Don't worry. I will be fine." Boboiboy said
"You too, Lumine. Be careful." Ayaka said
Lumine nodded while keeping the 'smile'. She is jealous
So they left and went to the Statue of Omnipresent God where the ceremony was taking place

When they arrive, they approach the crowd to see Thoma kneeling on the ground guarded by two Shogunate officers. They are all waiting for the Shogun's arrival to start the ceremony and claim his vision. Finally, the time comes and Raiden Shogun appears, quietly looking toward the statue and then slowly turning to Thoma
She uses Electro powers and Thoma's Vision sparks with electricity and detaches from his waist. Thoma shows a nervous face as he immediately looks down on his vision, slowly shaking from its place until it flies towards the Shogun frighteningly
Thoma tries to grab his vision, only to be held back by the guards.
Lumine sees this and then she immediately uses her Electro power to catch Thoma's Vision
The audience gasps in shock as they walk away. Raiden Shogun is surprised at this action. Paimon teleports next to her
Two guards try to arrest her but Lumine immediately notices this and quickly summons her sword then attacks the guards with electro. Once the guards are stunned, Lumine rushes to Thoma and tries to remove the bindings. Also, Boboiboy jumps down to help them too
Unfortunately, Raiden Shogun sends out a bolt of lightning to stop her. The three look at the Shogun who is slowly going down from the statue, a small platform of electro appearing on her feet with each step she takes
"Capable of using elemental energy without a vision... You are an exception, it appears." Raiden Shogun stated
'This is bad... Should I use Thunderstorm? But Zhongli told me that she would strike me If I used it in front of her.' Boboiboy is letting out a small sweat
She finally landed on the ground as she calmly looked at the three in front of her. "Exceptions...the enemy of eternity."
With that statement, she summoned her sword from her chest, rough lightning surrounding her
Lumine covers her eyes, blocking the brightness and flashiness of Raiden Shogun's move before summoning her sword, preparing to fight the god
Boboiboy is also preparing to fight her
The sword is slowly coming out from her chest
'What?...' Boboiboy (and along with Elemental Brothers) looked in confusion about summoning the sword
Finally, Raiden Shogun finishes summoning her sword she raises it with a firm glare
"You will be inlaid upon this statue." she announced and then slashed the air horizontally. Magically, the space between her and Lumine started to shatter as Lumine was trapped in a place of darkness. She tried to reach for them who frantically tried rushing towards her
Lumine is in an empty space until a giant platform appears beneath her. Once that appears, numerous giant torii, both broken and not, appear, surrounding the place in a circular appearance.
Lumine looks around warily until her gaze lands on a meditating figure with an eerie red moon behind her. Raiden Shogun slowly opens her eyes and looks at her with a serious look
"You are that which is furthest from Eternity. Exceptional. There is much to verify about you." Raiden Shogun said as the two started fighting each other
Meanwhile in the real world
"Huh!? Where did she go!?" Paimon asked in worry as Boboiboy and Paimon looked around
"Did Raiden Shogun just bring her to somewhere?" Boboiboy tried to recall what he had just seen
"Boboiboy!" Thoma called him out "Help me untie this rope!"
Boboiboy nods as he goes to untie the rope from Thoma's hands
The rope was almost untied but suddenly the Electro struck the spot where Lumine and Raiden Shogun
Revealing Lumine, who is unconscious. Boboiboy looks in shock and yells "LUMINE!"
Paimon quickly rushed to Lumine with a panicked look, shaking her awake "Wake up, wake up!"
Raiden Shogun's eyes glowed purple before returning to its usual dull state. She turns around and slowly approaches Lumine
She raises her sword to strike Lumine. Paimon is panicking as Raiden Shogun strikes
"Thunderstorm Slash!" suddenly the red swords blocked her sword
Raiden Shogun looks in surprise at this. Boboiboy changes into Thunderstorm and stops her strike
Thunderstorm looks up and glares at her "Hirrryyaaah!"
Thunderstorm pushes her away from Lumine but not far away
Thoma's hands are untied and rushes to help them. Thoma checks on Lumine's condition but they are fine "She's fine. Just a cut from Raiden's sword."
"Thoma. Get Lumine out of here." Thunderstorm told him
"Wait. What are you planning?" Thoma said
"I hold her off. Just get her out of here." Thunderstorm said which shocked the two
"What!? You can't! It's too dangerous!" Paimon yelled in worry
"Just go! Before anything becomes worse here!" Thunderstorm yelled back
"Understood." Thoma put Lumine's arm on his shoulder and they walk away
"Boboiboy..." Lumine said in worry while in pain
Now, just two of them.
"It appears you are holding something... Something that doesn't belong to you." Raiden Shogun then raised her sword to charge up Electro
And she starts slashing the air just like she did. The glasses break between Thunderstorm and Raiden Shogun. Thunderstorm looks around the area as he is teleported to the same place as where Lumine is. Thunderstorm looks in front of him and sees Raiden Shogun holding her polearm
Her face looks very angry. She looks at him with a glare
"You... That element... Where did you get it?" Raiden Shogun said with a venom tone
"... If I tell you a story, you may not believe me." Thunderstorm can guess Raiden Shogun won't believe him
"I see. If you are not telling me, then I will return it to the rightful owner." Raiden Shogun said and then summoned the Eye of Stormy Judgment behind her. Her polearm is covered with Electro
Thunderstorm raises his swords up and he is on his guard
Raiden Shogun then dashes forward. Thunderstorm also dashes forward. The two collide their weapons together as Raiden Shogun glares at him. The red and purple are coming out from their weapons
Two of them back away and then Raiden Shogun 'teleports'. Thunderstorm then quickly blocks her polearm with his swords because he can see her running fast.
"Surrender it to me. If you want to live." Raiden Shogun gave him a warning but "Never."
Raiden Shogun growls and pushes him away. She then quickly spins her polearm and slams it on the ground. The bolts of lightning from above strike down at him but Thunderstorm dodges them with his speed
Raiden Shogun then dashes forward him to give a slash combo but Thunderstorm back away to dodge it. But Raiden Shogun then sends him a strong Electro Slash
Thunderstorm quickly blocks it. The Electro Slash and his swords are colliding together
"Eennnggghhh!" Thunderstorm is struggling
"Evasion is futile." Raiden Shogun dashed toward him and swung her polearm to create bolts of lightning at him. She knocked him over and also knocked his swords away
"Begone." Raiden Shogun is in front of him and then slams her polearm at him but
"Thunder Spear!" Thunderstorm summoned the spear and blocked her attack
Thunderstorm back away and then "Thunder Spear Throw!"
He throws his spear at her but she knocks it
Thunderstorm summons another spear and runs up to her to give her a slash. She quickly blocks it
"You still have not given up that element, haven't you? It doesn't belong to you!" Raiden Shogun demanded
"Why do you want it back!? Is it important to you!?" Thunderstorm asked
"...It belongs to my dear friend. I was waiting for her to return but you are here with her element. You are the one that she must have told me about. You killed her for her element, didn't you!?" Raiden Shogun said
'She mistook me of Retak'ka.'
"I didn't kill her! You mistook me with someone else! I didn't steal it or steal the others' elements! I'm not the one they were talking about! I know who did it!" Thunderstorm yelled. Her face is covered with shadow
"I see, so you are making up? Well then. You left me no choice." Raiden Shogun said as her right eye glowed light purple and then she released her full power. The Electro surrounds her as her power bursts out. Her eyes also glow and release Electro
'Oh no. She is mad.'
Raiden Shogun starts summoning three Magatsu Electroculi around the arena while pushing Thunderstorm away from her
"Huh!?" Thunderstorm noticed and saw no way to dodge them
Three Magatsu Electrocuils explode violently knocking Thunderstorm over "WWAAAAHHHH!"
Thunderstorm pins his spear down to stop. Raiden Shogun wastes no time and 'teleports'
Thunderstorm notices and jumps away because she teleports next to him and slams her polearm at him. Then she sends out Electro Slash toward him when he jumps away
Thunderstorm blocks it with his spear but ends up knocking him away
Thunderstorm lies on the ground as he looks up and sees Raiden Shogun slowly walking toward him
"*groan* If this continues, she will kill me. I need to go all out." Thunderstorm stood up and picked up his spear. He starts closing his eyes to focus and then releasing his full power "Hiiiiyyyaaaahhhhhh!"
The red lightning burst out from him
Raiden Shogun covers her eyes because of his power. Once it cools down, she opens her eyes and sees. His eyes are glowing red and some red lightning comes out of his eyes
"Hmph." Raiden Shogun then charged her power up
Both of them dash forward to each other at the same speed. Both of them collide their spears
They back away and then start giving each other slashes. They keep fighting until
Thunderstorm jumps high up. Raiden Shogun saw "Huh?"
"Take this! Rain of Thunder Spears!" Thunderstorm summoned multiple Thunder Spears and threw them at her
Raiden Shogun sees this and then charges up her polearm with Electro. She knocks a few spears with 3 swings and then sends an X Slash toward him. The X Slash knocks all his spears
Thunderstorm quickly summons his dual blades. He holds his swords out in X to block the slash
"Ennggggghhhh!" Thunderstorm is struggling until
"ROOOAARRRRR!" His eyes start glowing more and red lightning comes out as he manages to deflect the slash back to her. Raiden Shogun deflects it
"Thunderstorm Strike: Maximum Speed!" Thunderstorm 'teleports' many spots at high speed to strike her. Raiden Shogun notices and then runs up at almost the same high speed as him
They both attack each other until they land down and look at each other
They both start powering up their lightning to the maximum. Until the images from both of them rise up the dragons. One of them is red and one of them is purple
They then run at a high speed to slash. Their weapons are colliding together. The red lightning and the purple lightning come out from their weapons
A few seconds later, they cause an explosion. That knocks them away from it
The two breathe heavily and feel tired. They look at each other
Raiden Shogun takes a look at him one last chance and then sends him out from her place
Once Thunderstorm teleports back, he sees Raiden Shogun holding her sword and didn't breathe heavily
"Huh?" 'Wasn't she feeling tired just now? Also, I saw she was holding the sword before she sent me somewhere. After that, she held the polearm but now the sword. What is going on?' Thunderstorm saw something odd in her
Raiden Shogun raises her sword and runs up to him but "Boboiboy Solar! Solar Flare!"
Thunderstorm quickly transformed into Solar and then sent out light to blind her
"Solar Leap!" Solar teleported away from here
Raiden Shogun finally can see and she sees he is gone. Two soldiers walk up to her
Soldier: Sh—Shogun... Who... was that?
Raiden Shogun: Seize them under the decree
Raiden Shogun: Next time, I will strike twice
Raiden Shogun said and left

Thoma and Paimon are waiting while Lumine is resting
Suddenly the light comes out of nowhere which scares them. It reveals Boboiboy Solar
Solar transforms back to Boboiboy as the two runs up to him
"Boboiboy!" Paimon yelled and she asked "Are you alright!?"
"I'm fine, Paimon. No need to worry. I'm okay." Boboiboy calmed her down as they sighed in relief
"What happened back there?" Thoma asked
"I fought Raiden Shogun but don't worry, I survived and managed to get away." Boboiboy answered
"Did you win?" Thoma asked
"Not so sure." Boboiboy replied which made them surprised and confused
"Huh? What do you mean not so sure?" Paimon asked
"During our battle. I managed to keep up with her but I don't know If she was still holding back. I should not underestimate her. If I did, she would strike me." Boboiboy answered
"*Sigh* At least you are okay now." Thoma said
"How is Lumine?" Boboiboy asked in worry
"Don't worry. She's okay. Just a slash wound from Raiden Shogun's sword. But she will make it." Thoma said "We should wait for her to wake up and I will tell you guys."
-Inside Lumine's dream-
Lumine woke up in the same place where she was taken
"I'm back here." Lumine looked around until the slash sound caught her attention
"Huh?" Lumine saw Thunderstorm and Raiden Shogun were battling
A few seconds later, Raiden Shogun performs the move which makes Lumine realize what she is doing
Raiden Shogun slashes Thunderstorm with a powerful strike like she did to Lumine. Thunderstorm was hit by numerous thunderbolts
Lumine's eyes wide at the sight
Thunderstorm let out a scream from the pain and lies down on the ground
Raiden Shogun turns around and walks toward him. Thunderstorm looks up and sees Raiden Shogun
Raiden Shogun holds her left hand up as the purple lightning gathers on her hand
Lumine doesn't know what is she planning to do to Thunderstorm until
Raiden Shogun slams her hand on Thunderstorm's chest as the red energy comes out and starts gathering on her hand
Thunderstorm is screaming in pain "AHHHHHHH!"
Lumine is shocked at what she is doing "STOP!"
A moment later, the red sphere comes out and it is on her hand. Raiden Shogun looks at it and turns to Boboiboy, who just got turned back
Boboiboy breathes heavily. Raiden Shogun raises her polearm and is ready to kill him
"STOP!"
-Outside Lumine's dream-
"BOBOIBOY!" Lumine woke up and yelled out which made the others surprised at her sudden burst
Lumine breathes as she looks around. She realizes it is just a dream... or was it?
"Lumine, are you alright? What's wrong?" Boboiboy asked
"...I'm fine. It's just a nightmare." Lumine said as she stood up
"How do you feel now?" Thoma asked
"I'm getting better. I will be alright." Lumine nodded
"Okay. Now that you are awake. There is something I want to discuss. I probably won't be able to leave again for some time. I'll have to leave the next steps to you." Thoma said
"What do you need us to do?" Lumine asked
"Go to Tatarasuna and find the resistance. The Shogun's Army is almost certainly about to issue a warrant for our arrest. There are very few parties that will be willing to shelter us... but the resistance is an exception." Thoma told them
"Paimon's pretty sure Ayaka mentioned them before... Oh yeah! Sangonomiya's group! The ones who came together to fight the Vision Hunt Decree!" Paimon said
"That's right. The resistance was founded by Sangonomiya Kokomi, the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island. Currently, it's her subordinate, Gorou, who leads them in their war against the Shogun's Army.
However, the Yashiro Commission is not on especially close terms with the resistance. So your dealings with us would normally be frowned upon. But you're different, so that shouldn't work against you... As far as I can see, the resistance shouldn't have any reason to turn you away.
The only issue is that we can't be sure of the resistance forces' current location. You'll have to ask around along the way. You'll likely pass through territory occupied by the Shogun's Army at some point. So, be sure to stay on your guard at all times." Thoma told them
"Be sure you do the same." Lumine told him which made him smile
"Don't worry about me, I can remain hidden when I want to. I won't make it easy for them."
"We should head off right away." Lumine said
Thoma nodded "Me too, well, I should probably head inside the teahouse now. I'll see you when I see you, whenever that is... In the meantime, stay safe."
"We gotta hurry up, the Tenryou Commission could be right around the corner! Let's get outta here!"
Paimon said that as they left to find the location

The group decides to find the resistance, starting at Tatarasuna. Along the way, they overhear a pair of Shogunate soldiers, Takayama and Ishihara, saying that the resistance is being pushed near Musoujin Gorge. Paimon suggests they verify the information before ensuring the resistance is based at the gorge. Continuing on, they find a pair of travelers — Sakamoto and Jiichirou.
Sakamoto wishes to go to Higi Village, believing it to be safer than the warzone, while Jiichirou had just been to Nazuchi Beach, complaining it was complete chaos there. Paimon then suggests they check the beach.
Once they get there, they find someone is under attack by Shogunate soldiers
"Hey, look! D'you think that's a resistance fighter?" Paimon pointed "Looks like he's in a tight spot... Let's go help him out!"
The group runs up to help him. Lumine and Boboiboy arrive and start fighting them
A few minutes later
Shogunate soldiers are unconscious. Lumine puts her sword away and Blaze changes back to Boboiboy
"Phew... You saved me. I thought I was about to die. Thank you so much for your help. I'm Teppei of the Gobious Platoon. I'm with the resistance.
I was sent to the front line just recently — I was looking forward to doing my part... Instead, it seems I fell at the first hurdle. So, uh... You aren't dressed like resistance fighters — have you come here looking to sign up?" the soldier named Teppei asked
"Yes." Lumine nodded
"Great! Just the other day I heard General Gorou complaining about how desperate we are for more people. Your support will make a big difference. I'll escort you back to our camp... But first, let me bring you up to speed on our current situation.
As you can see, the resistance are at a constant disadvantage when it comes to open confrontation. The goal of the Shogun's Army is to uphold "eternity." To this end, they have the support of the Tenryou Commission's general, Kujou Sara, who commands an exceptionally strong force.
As for us... Vision bearers are few and far between as it is, and because of the Vision Hunt Decree, they're rarer than ever. The fact we're even able to hold out is thanks to the brilliant strategic mind of Her Excellency, Sangonomiya.
We're also indebted to the great courage shown by General Gorou and the resistance troops. *sigh* If only I had a Vision myself... Not only would I be better placed to share Her Excellency and General Gorou's burden, but I'd be able to hold my own on the battlefield, too...
I couldn't help but notice that you used elemental energy when saving me just now. You two must have a Vision yourself?" Teppei asked them
"No." Lumine shook her head along with Boboiboy
"They are a special case!" Paimon explained. "They don't have a Vision, but they can control the elements anyway."
"Are you serious!? That's... incredible. And I guess that means you're immune to the Vision Hunt Decree?
You have to let me introduce you to General Gorou! He'll welcome you with open arms! Perhaps I can also make a worthy contribution, this way... Of course, I'd much rather prove my worth by the sword. If only taking down Shogunate Samurai was as easy as you make it look. Anyway, we shouldn't delay. Let's head off!"
Teppei led them to the resistance base with a cheerful look.

Soon, they arrived and Teppei approached a man with dog ears and a tail. His name is Gorou
Gorou saw Teppei come back with a few guests so he asked him
"This is what happened, General Gorou. I was surrounded by Shogunate Samurai, and they came to my rescue. They can use the elements without a Vision! The resistance could really use people with that kind of skill. We should bring them in!" Teppei reported
"Hmm... *clears throat* I presume you've heard that the goal of the resistance is to defeat the Shogun's Army and repeal the Vision Hunt Decree.
This is no easy task. Each who sets foot on the battlefield must be ready to sacrifice their life. Tell me, why do you wish to join us? The resistance cannot accept any who don't possess a warrior's will — you and I must be certain of your decision." Gorou told them
"Let me tell you about the seizure of the 100th Vision..." Lumine said
"You're referring to the ceremony to mark the 100th Vision seized under the decree, right? Yes, we received some new of it here, despite it taking place over in Inazuma City.
There was a disturbance, allegedly... Highly unusual, considering that the Raiden Shogun appeared in person...But why do you wish to discuss this all of a sudden? Unless you have some information to share?"
Lumine looked slightly awkward "It was us."
"...What?" Gorou blinked in shock
Paimon nodded in agreement "Yup, we had a fight with the Raiden Shogun and everything. Then, we grabbed the Vision bearer and whisked him off to safety. After that, they added us to the army's wanted list... That's why we came here."
"Now that you mention it, we did just recover bounty notices from a Shogunate Samurai defeated in battle. It read "Reward for the capture of a blond-haired traveler, an orange traveler, and their mysterious flying pet." Hmm... So, this refers to you three?"
"An orange traveler? Really?" Boboiboy looked deadpanned. They described him as an orange because of his clothes
"What! Who are they calling a "mysterious flying pet"!?" Paimon said angrily
"My apologies, I understand your situation well enough for now. On behalf of the resistance, welcome to our ranks. Her Excellency is currently away from the camp. We don't know where she went, but she instructed us to take care of everything in her absence.
I will ask Teppei here to should you around the camp first, and then dispatch you straight to the front line. If you are ready, of course." Gorou told them
"You got it!" Lumine nodded
"Yes sir." Teppei smiled
"I used to be in the Logistics Division, so I'm the right person to show you around — I know the setup like the back of my hand. I'll make sure you get a warm resistance welcome!
Let's start with the field hospital. Some of my friends are recovering there. Last time I saw them, I promised that I'd introduce any new recruits. When they're finally back on the battlefield alongside us, we'll all be brothers in arms!"
Teppei led the three to the infirmary and they met two soldiers who were injured
"*coughing* ...Is this a new recruit?" Tokuda asked
Masashi crossed his arms "Looks like a strong addition to the troop... Hopefully someone I can spar with after I've recovered."
But Tokuda stopped him

Tokuda looked amazed "Amazing work. Still, uh... I can believe most of that, but their facing off against the Raiden Shogun? I think you might be embellishing the story a little there, Teppei... I mean, we've all heard of the Musou no Hitotachi, right? Haha.
*sigh* Either way, to tell the truth, with all the losses we've sustained recently, I was starting to lose hope in our ability to hold out much longer. So the two start shooting several Blue Targerts and carefully not to hit the Red Targets. After that, they complete the training exercise
"Well, there you have it. I told you our latest recruits are pretty strong." Teppei said as all of them applauded
Shouji: Incredible! I think I understand what I was doing wrong now. My posture was off and I didn't draw back with enough force. Seems I also need to focus on keeping my grip steady and monitoring the external environment. If I can get those few down, I'll be hitting my mark in no time!
Hisahiko: Those "few," huh? Watching your demonstration was a great help. I learned a lot. At least this time I was able to observe some proper technique. "Well, we managed to hold them off... But what would the Shogun's Army be doing here? We have sentries and patrols posted all around the perimeter here. The enemy should never have been able to reach us this far unnoticed. Unless... we have a traitor in our midst." Teppei said with a serious look and then said
"They must have an informant feeding them intelligence and helping them to approach unseen. That's the only possible explanation. Our priority is finding the agent and protecting the camp. This is my chance to show what I'm made of!"
"Sir, if I may... I just returned from inspecting the perimeter. It appears that several portions of our defensive walls were already collapsed.
The Shogun's Army must have known about this vulnerability and made their way over from the cliffs nearby, before attacking through the gaps in our defenses. I suggest we repair the walls and double the guard. That should keep them from sneaking up on us like this again." Message-Runner suggested
"In that case... Understood, leave the repairs to us. We can make use of the wood and rope nearby to patch up the defenses. Why don't we make this more interesting, recruits! Kujou Sara sent out a second man - Kayama Tadao, the "bamboo-breaking tiger"
"You can take 'em!" Teppei encouraged
"There's more than one round! Keep it up!" Paimon cheered
Resistance Soldiers cheered as one shouted in excitement: "Look! That's two rounds in a row!"
"The Shogun's Army is not invincible! We can win!" another said
Gorou smiled at the scene "The soldiers are rallying... Your warrior's will is bringing them hope, Traveler..."
The last battle with Kujou's right hand, Takasaka Izumi, was also brief as the resistance cheered

Gorou shoots many Shogun Soldiers and he jumps on one and knocks one from behind. He looks around and growls
The Resistance soldier charges up to Samurai but ends up getting killed. The Samurai starts pushing and knocks two Resistance soldiers. The Samurai tries to slash another one but the Resistance soldier blocks it and tries to push back. It didn't work and got kicked by the samurai
The three stop and look around. The resistance is slowly losing
Kujou Sara saw them and noticed
"Now!" she shouted as the other soldiers with her charged
They start attacking. Gorou shoots many arrows
"Stand firm, hold the line!" Gorou ordered, obviously panicking a little and fearful
"Boboiboy, use it!" Lumine told him as he nodded "Boboiboy Triple Split!"
Boboiboy split himself into three (Blaze, Thorn, and Ice)
"Fireballs Attack!" Blaze summoned fireballs and threw them at Shogun's Army
"Ice Bow!" Ice shot many ice arrows to free them
"Thorn Lash!" Thorn attacked them with a thorny vine
A moment later. Suddenly, it rains as multiple bubbles rise up. The girl looks like a mermaid appearing with a graceful twirl from the sky to the ground. Her name is Sangonomiya Kokomi
Gorou was quick to notice and a smile bloomed on his face "Her Excellency!"
This caught Kujou Sara's attention and her mood plummeted down
And numerous resistance army, along with Kazuha and Beidou, quietly knelt and they are waiting for the sign
"The wait is over my comrades." Kokomi summoned multiple bubbles "Now is our moment!"
Her declaration was all they needed as the secret army charged with a large yell
Kazuha smirked a little "Heh, calm as the breeze, my lady."
With that statement, he charged along with the others
"I just hope you can afford all these mercs you've gathered." Beidou smirked as she attacked the Shogunate members who tried to defeat her. One Samurai tries to slash her from behind but
"Fire Kick!" Blaze kicked the samurai with his legs covered with fire
"Heh. Nice to see you again." Beidou smirked and kept attacking
"Hi, Captain Beidou!" Blaze greeted as he punched and kicked Shogun's Army
Kazuha is fighting them as he charges up to the samurai and kills him
"Kazuha!" Gorou greeted with delight
"We meet again, old friend" he said as Gorou nodded
More Resistance Soldiers appear as they push the line
Kujou Sara is struggling with Ice. They are shooting each other
Kujou Sara stops and scowls at the scene "Tch... All forces, retreat!"
The Shogunate retreated, having been overpowered
After a while, everything has become quiet
Kokomi slowly walks towards the group who is standing with their friends
"Greetings, Lumine and Boboiboy. This is the first time we've met, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Sangonomiya Kokomi, organizer of the resistance, and also the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island.
