The Alien Races,the Kree & the Skrull are at war with eachother & the Kree are determined not to allow any enemies flourish. In 1998,Car-Ell woke up from a nightmare. Her mentor,Yon-Rogg trains her to control her abilities. During the rescue an undercover operative,Car-Ell is captured by the Skrulls. Car-Ell learned about her memories of a man on earth. She escapes & crash landed in Los Angeles.
She meets Nick Fury & goes to the Project Pegasus Installment at a U.S. Air Force base. Car-Ell learned that her real name is Carol Danvers,a Pilot who was presumed dead while testing an experimental lightspeed engine designed by Walter Lawson,whom she recognized as a man from her nightmares.
Carol & Nick travel to Louisiana where she met Maria Rambeau,an old friend of hers. They were approached by her Neighbor,who revealed to be a Skrull named Anelle. She reveals that Lawson was a Kree Member named Mar-Vell,whom she's in love with. Anelle played the blackbox that was hidden,prompting Carol to remember the crash. Mar-Vell was nearly killed by Yon-Rogg for betraying the Kree. Carol destroyed the engine & absorbed the energy,but losing her memory. Anelle & the Skrulls takes Mar-Vell to safety.
They locate Mar-Vell's whereabouts. He spend 9 Years in the Cryo Chamber with the other Skrulls here. After being awaken,Mar-Vell reveals that the Kree attacks Anelle's grandfather & the war begins. He & Anelle are in love,going against the law. The Kree tried to kill them,so they went into hiding. Carol changes her Green Suit to Red & Blue with a Star Pattern,dubbing the name, & join Mar-Vell,who was dubbed as Captain Marvel.
The two confronts Yon-Rogg & battles. After defeating him,They sends him to Hala with a warning to the Supreme Intelligence. The Marvels depart to find the Kree a new home,leaving Fury a pager to contact her for emergency.

On the Kree Ship,Ronan the Accuser has Korath to locate the sphere before someone can. The monitor shows him a Heat signature of a dancing man.
