KARR often contemplates the value of life, the connections he has formed, and the meaning behind his actions since his resurrection years ago. This new perspective has motivated him to seek redemption and to make amends for his past mistakes.

The two-tone black and silver Trans AM has already made up with his younger brother KITT. He even gets along with KITT's driver and soulmate, Michael Knight.

"I suppose I have to accept 'him' in my life, little brother," KARR said with a hint of resignation. "After all, we've both come a long way, and it's time to embrace the bonds we've created instead of dwelling on our differences."

KITT couldn't agree more.

KARR is alone in the garage since KITT and Michael are away on assignment, and the technicians have left. He is incredibly bored until his optics center on the car lift nearby. His CPU suddenly sparks with an idea. He may utilize the lift as an amusement park ride.

KARR carefully centers his chassis onto the lift and automatically switches it on. The lift ascends slowly. Finding the speed too slow, he hacks into the automatic controls to increase the ascending rate. "Ahh, much better," KARR murmurs as he reaches the highest point. The lift suddenly descends much quicker than anticipated, but KARR is thrilled.

"WHEEE!"

KARR repeats the process over and over until—

A swoosh is in the air, and KARR's optics spot a disapproving KITT with his Anamorphic Equalizer flashing solid red repeatedly.

Michael stared incredulously at KARR with his jaw dropped. "Really, KARR? Is this what you've come to?" Michael exclaimed, shaking his head in disbelief.

KARR paused momentarily, the thrill of the descent still coursing through his circuits, before responding with a defiant whir, "I was only trying to enhance the experience!"

Michael left the garage after giving KITT an affectionate pat on the roof and a last-minute glare at the two-tone Trans AM.

KITT can only watch in silent understanding. After observing his brother's antics for another minute, KITT realizes he might also want to indulge in some fun. "KARR? Do you mind if I have a turn?"

KARR laughs mockingly, his digital voice echoing through the garage. "Oh, what's this? The ever-righteous KITT wants to join the fun? I thought you were above such childish pranks." He lowers the lift to allow KITT to roll forward.

KITT's circuits buzzed in response, eager to prove he could let loose, even for a moment.

"Have fun, little brother," KARR said amusedly.

KITT's headlights playfully flashed as he ascended and descended on the lift. "Sometimes, KARR, even the righteous need a break from being serious," he replied, showing that he could enjoy a little mischief without losing his sense of duty.

The two exchanged places all night until early morning when they decided to recharge.

The two parked side by side, recharging peacefully when the first technician arrived later in the morning and found the lift needed an overhaul of its systems.

The lab technicians never figured out why the lift operated without an operator that night, but they couldn't shake the feeling that something extraordinary had happened.
