I know this chapter is very short and quick but as I focus a lot on my own original work in November I don't have too much time to write and edit this one. However I didn't want to leave you hanging too long, so here's a short and simple little reminder that I love all of you and I want to make you happy. As always my own insecurities on this chapter are out in full force so I'm sorry if this isn't up to my usual standard. Please forgive me as season 1 comes to a close!

Reviews:

UndercookedCookie- THANK YOU! Sorry about the confusion, I uploaded a lot more in October than I normally do, ut Season 1 is coming to and ends and I want it finished before Christmas lol. I know Eleazar took his time, but he was waiting for Edward confirmation that he couldn't read Mare's thoughts, sorry I didn't explain that well, I have failed you, forgive me! As for what this means for Bella well...we will have to see. Thank you for your kind and interactive review I love responding to you my sweet friend! Have an amazing week!

KEZZ1- Thank you luv!

EtherealSoul456- Omg, Thank you so much my sweet sweet friend. You're wayyyyy to nice to me seriously, I don't deserve all this praise you give me, I just don't! I happy reading my responds make you smile because reading your review always makes me smile seriously! You are too nice! I promise all of Mare's hardships are almost over, I just have to throw in a few more before we introduce Bella and she kind of takes over everything! Thank you sooo much for the comment about Aro, I was really nervous because frankly the man is freaking NUTZ! and I don't think I'll ever be able to completely show that! I also love that you love Carlisle and Esme in parent mode because I LOVE writing them that way so I hope you never get tired of it! You have seriously honored me Etheral! I am so freaking honored to be someone that you follow! I hope I can continue to make you happy with my updates and this story. I do have to apologize for this one, it's quite short and not as fleshed out as I wanted but I hope you enjoy it anyway! Seriously thank you so much for being my friend and for being so kind, you are AMAZING! and I'm so glad you're here!

agabriellafigueiredo- THANK YOU SO MUCH! that is honestly the kindest thing you can ever tell someone and I send it all right back to you my sweet, sweet friend! I really hope you like this next chapter although it is a bit short, it's hard working on two stories at the same time, but I'm trying my best. Things will get better eventually I promise. We just have to flesh everything out before Bella comes, wink wink!

Guest-I agree! Honestly, I didn't even think about that and I THANK YOU! so much for bring that up, because now I can add that to future chapters! I also wanted to mention that Victoria is just a name it has nothing to do with the actual Victoria, I'm stupid and forgot when I typed common Italian names! I'm so sorry!

Guest- I have to confess something...I never finished the gender bender fanfic...honestly wasn't a fan so I'm not taking anything from that story, I'm sorry lol

Bright Anarchy- AHHHHH you got me! I was honestly editing so fast I completely missed that! Thank you so much for bringing it up, I quickly went in there and fixed it right up! I was honestly worried about the Jane part because for me..at least how I kind of read it in New Moon is that she's very possessive of Aro, she gets jealous really easy and when Aro showed more interest in Alice than he did her, she clearly did not like that, so that's kind of how I wanted to write her. When Aro seemed to be interested in Mare it kind kicked her reflexes in gear and she quickly acted out. I also wanted to show how heavily Jane relies on her powers, because of what happened with the villagers and how powerless she was in that moment, I like to think that Jane would never want to feel that way again, which is why she lashed out so easily and quickly when she couldn't feel her power inside. I'm sorry if none of that makes since, it's just kinda how I've interpreted her, because I don't see Jane as completely bad like how a lot of fic's portray her. She had a hard life, "died" young, changed young...anyway sorry for the long responds lol, I get carried away. Thank you sooooo sooo much for pointing out my mistake and for leaving a review! I really, appreciate it!

InNekoLexi- Omg! you honor me with your tears, seriously! I always hate leaving cliff hangers so I like to kinda show teasers for the future and do it often, in fact some more are coming up as we end season 1 and move into season 2 which finally starts with Twilight! I promise you I try to be very good at uploads and letting everyone know when I'll be updating next! November is kinda iffy, because I work on my own original work this month, but there will be another update sometime this month, usually on Sundays. I love family pics and didn't find enough of them so just decided to write them myself lol! I hope you continue to read and let me know what you think! As for the food allergies I actually took that whole chapter from a real life experience a friend of mine had, I'm so happy you mentioned that because I wanted to make it as real as possible, and you've honestly made me cry, thank you soooo much!

Ooshnish-Oh my sweet, sweet Ooshnish, you always have the nicest and best things to say. Seriously you are too nice and I honestly don't feel like I deserve it. I am always in aww of the things you notice in these chapters and how you always catch on to what I'm doing! My sweet, sweet Ooshnish I think you too have a writer inside you, because nothing ever gets past you! These chapters are really hard for me, because there is nothing after Italy, that's actually the end of season 1, so I feel like I'm prolonging these chapters and there getting boring..seriously there not great and I'm so sorry. I promise I won't make you wait till December but have to be honest working on two stories at once is hard and I feel this chapter shows it, but I promise more exciting things are coming! I very much don't deserve the nice things you write especially this month! My sweet, sweet friend thank you for support and kindness, you are truly one of my greatest friends here! As for the bonus chapter, you are right, those injuries didn't occur with the Volturi, though they are similar.. wink wink, don't worry you'll find out soon. I also feel like I have to tell you that once season 1 is over...soon, more sneak peaks are coming ;)

Guest- I'm so happy you like these little bonus guys, because more is on it's way ;)

Random Canadian- First off, LOVE the name! Second of all thank you for your sweet words and review, third of all...I think you're in my head, because right before I posted that chapter I was like "Jesus why do I keep letting her get hurt" lol. I promise I'm only trying to get this out of the way, because once Bella and her clumsy ass enters the story, Mare will be fine, I've just had these things planned and wanted to get them out of the way before Twilight picks up, I PROMISE!

Triage and Gelato

"Marceline sweetheart."I feel chilly fingers brush my bangs back, their nails scratching my scalp all the way down, stopping before they get to the bump at the back of my head,

"Mmmmm," I growl, this is the fourth time Esme's woken me up. After getting home, all the adrenaline and endorphins had completely worn off leaving both my mind and body exhausted and in pain. Carlisle quickly ushered me upstairs and "triage" as he told me. First, he restitched my reopened wound and wrapped it back up with ease. Esme had me laying on her lap and pillow under my head during this, her fingers gently brushing my hair, careful of the bump at the back of my head. His fingers were soothing and all I could think about was drifting to sleep. Thanks to the lidocaine Carlisle somehow had in his bag, and for the fact that he jabbed me with it when I wasn't looking.

"It's really concerning you have that," I mumbled to him only to receive a chuckle in response,

"It doesn't hurt to be prepared."

"That's for the Boy Scouts...not a doctor, how did you even get that past security?" Carlisle chuckled before gently reaching forward to give my ankle a light squeeze,

"I'll never reveal my secrets."

After that he forced me to sit up and popped my wrist back into place, but not without a bit of arguing,

"Take a deep breath"

"Can't we just leave it?"

"Mare, honey you know we can't"

"I don't want to do this."

"I promise that as soon, as it's back into place, it will feel much better."

"That's okay, it doesn't hurt that bad."

"We all know that's not true."

"Please just leave it."

"It's alright sweetheart, we'll do it on three alright?"

"Okay"

We did not in fact do it on three and it's something I've decided never to let go of. Ever. Carlisle had everything in his bag, but he didn't have a wrist brace, however he already thought of that having Rose find and bring it back only a little an hour later. He checked my mouth making sure the bleeding had stopped and then moved on to the large goose egg in the back of my head. I've had plenty of concussion tests before and Carlisle's version was no different, which brings us back to right now and the fact that Esme has been waking me up every hour.

"No one did this the last time," I mumble turning over, the now-melted ice pack sliding off. I feel Esme caress my cheek and I open my eyes to her sweet motherly smile,

"We didn't have too last time," She whispers leaning down to kiss my forehead,

"Ready?" she asks and I nod, reaching up to stretch my arms, waiting for my elbows to pop,

"Pain?"

"4"

"Where's the worst pain?"

"My neck." That's a new thing that I only discovered the last time Esme woke me up. It's a weird stiff pain that I can't figure out if it bloomed from sleeping on it wrong in between the wake-up calls or if it's migrated down from where I hit the back of my head. Esme frowns reaching forward to gently grab the towel from around my neck and replace it with another warm one.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, until the pharmacy opens and we can get a heating pad this will have to do."

"You don't need to do that." I watch her drape the now cold towel over her arm before grabbing the melted ice pack and replacing it with a new one,

"I'd feel better if we had one. I yawn, letting my eyes drift close,

"You're hovering," I mumble feeling her cold fingers push my bangs back,

"Am I?"

"Mmmmmm Carlisle still out?" I feel the edge of sleep creep back in,

"Yes." I can only guess where he is, but I refuse to ask, deciding to leave today..or technically yesterday behind me...until we have to visit again..who knows if that will happen.

"You didn't go with him?" My words come out more garbled, my lips barely moving, but somehow Esme still understands,

"Someone needed to stay here with you?"

"The house is full of people."

"Shhhhhhh, go ahead and sleep." Her fingers card through my hair in a cool and soothing rhythm that quickly and effectively lures me back to sleep.

The rustling of paper is the first thing I register as I start to wake up. I pinch my eyes open finding Carlisle sitting in the corner, similarly to how I sometimes wake up back home. The only difference is the chair he's sitting one looks much less comfortable.

"Morning," I mumble, Carlisle looks up from his spot in the corner and smiles,

"Sleep well?" He places the paper down and stands,

"The parts you let me sleep." Carlisle carefully lowers himself to the edge of the bed, sinking it on the side causing me to slide closer to him,

"That wasn't me." He winks and I can't help but smile,

"Just your orders. You can read the newspaper?" I glance back to his chair where he's left the reading material behind.

"Ah, Si, e bello leggere un articolo che non e del tuo paese." I raise an eyebrow, and Carlisle chuckles, bending down to kiss my forehead just as Esme had done the night before. "Yes, I can read the Italian newspaper."

"Anything good?"

"More talk of the blackout."

"The what?" Carlisle reaches forward brushing my hair back,

"It doesn't matter, how are you feeling?" The ache in my wrist isn't as bad, and my headache is gone from last night. The familiar sunburnish feeling in my leg is back, although it doesn't bother me.

"I'm okay."

"Wrist?"

"3"

"Head?"

"3"

"Leg?"

"1"

"Are you being honest?"

"I did just wake up," I yawn,

"That's fair, are you up for something to eat?" I shake my head, "Maybe just some juice?"

"Can I have orange juice? Carlisle nods,

"Of course, I hope you don't mind, but Esme packed for you last night, I would like for us to be in Rome by dinner."

"How long does it take to get there?" I watch Carlisle as he gingerly takes my injured wrist. The swelling has gone down considerably from last night and thanks to the brace the pressure like feeling has gone down too.

"Around 3 hours," He gently twists my hand, "Any pain?"

"A little,"

"It's a mild dislocation, I think you might only need a brace for about four to six weeks," I roll my eyes,

"Wonderful." Carlisle smiles and sets my arm down,

"Esme said you had neck pain last night, how is that?"

"It's gone, my head's just a little achy, honestly you don't have to fret over me."

"Fret? Is that the word you're going for?" I nod. "Alright, then I will try not to "fret" as you say, do you want me to get you some juice or do you want to take it in the kitchen." I think for a second,

"The kitchen...did you and Esme go to the markets this morning?"

"We didn't, did you want to go?" I shrug, Carlisle reaches forward grabbing my good hand and gently clasping it,"How about this, we go downstairs have some juice maybe later something to eat, we'll pack the car up and go, by the time we get to Rome it will be nice and dark and perfect timing to walk the shops if your feeling up to it?" He finishes with a raised brow,

"Can I get gelato?" Carlisle's face breaks into a smile,

"Gelato?"

"I saw it on Jersey Shore." Carlisle chuckles pulling me up into a hug,

"Yes, you can get gelato."
