Shoto snorted as Denki and Katsuki sang back to back on the stage at the bar. Kirishima had his arm around Shoto while Izuku snapped pictures to show their drunk partner what he had done after one too many drinks. Shoto had told him to drink what he couldn't, and Katsuki took that to heart.
Shoto clapped for them while they sang, they came to the end of their duet and Shoto stood up. "Bravo! Encore!" He laughed as Kiri went to grab Katsuki off the stage, Shoto sat down and suddenly felt very wet.
"What the…"
Mina turned her head quickly picking up on the concern in his voice. "What's wrong?"
"I- I think my water just broke."
"What!" Mina was up on her feet quickly. She ran to his side and helped him up. The others were at the stage laughing and talking to Denki and Katsuki who were hanging off Izuku and Hitoshi.
Kiri turned and spotted Mina's look of panic and Shoto's worried look. "What's wrong?" He asked, making his way to their side quickly. "Baby?"
"I think my water just broke…"
"Oh.. oh that's early… alright." Kirishima picked Shoto up without hesitation, he turned to Mina who nodded and rushed to the others.
"Pack it up, party people, we are having a puppy!"
"Now?" Izuku asked. "Our due date isn't for another few weeks." Katsuki seemed to sober up fairly quickly at the mention of their child coming early.
They rushed out to the cars, Shoto was breathing heavily as he felt the contractions coming on. Izuku plopped Bakugo in the back seat and climbed in. "Drive Kiri."
"You're gonna be okay Sho…" Katsuki attempted to calm his mate while squinting at the lights as they drove.
"W-Will you call m-my mom an-and sister?" Shoto whined as he kept track of the time between contractions. He was in panic mode, they weren't due yet.
"I'm on it, snowflake, I promise." Izuku mumbled as he fumbled with the phone. Katsuki was holding his hand from the backseat, the alpha was slowly starting to sober with each whine that came from his mates lips.
Their packmates were following behind them, they knew they wouldn't be able to be in the room but they were going to be there to support them. Shoto continued to breathe and count in his head. The car window was icing over, small crystallized ice chunks were sticking to the door. "Sho, you gotta control that." Izuku mumbled noticing as he dialed his sister again.
"I-I can't!" Shoto sobbed out. Kiri turned to look at him for only a moment before he took another turn.
"For us Princess." Katsuki mumbled. "For the pup…"
"If you don't regulate you might start using flames." Kiri reasoned. "You need to regulate honey. Please."
Shoto concentrated, the ice on the car door was wasn't growing any further. "Good Sho, good job baby." Shoto bit his lip, they were all nervous. This was their first pup as a mateship and the pup coming early wasn't helping the nerves. "Almost there, I promise baby."
Shoto was lucky to have three strong alphas there for him and ready to support him with their child, even with Katsuki drunk he was trying to be careful with what he did or said. "You're okay 'mega…."
They pulled up to the hospital quickly. "Okay I've got Sho, park the car." Kirishima muttered as he tossed the keys to Izuku. They moved swiftly adjusting drivers, Bakugo was forced to wait with Izuku but he also knew neither of his mates needed him following them though the hospital like a drunk toddler.
Eijiro carried Shoto through the front doors. Nurses were quick to assist and got a wheelchair. "His water broke, we weren't due for another two or three weeks." He explained as he followed the nurses through the omegan ward quickly.
"I see, we will get him checked out your mate and your pup will be just fine."
Eijiro was trying his best to stay calm, his own hands were starting to harden without much of a say on his end. He did his best to will himself to grow calmer, he had told Shoto to do so and he was in active labor.
"Should we get a quirk suppressant on you?" A nurse asked as she read over Shoto's files. "Birth can cause you to lose control."
"Maybe…" Shoto admitted.
"I believe with your ability it may be best." The nurse smiled softly as she got a chuff on his wrist. He groaned as another contraction ran through him.
"Where is Izuku and Katsuki?!" Shoto cried as he was helping onto his feet, Kiri and the two nurses helped him into a hospital gown.
"They're coming love."
"You have three alphas?" The nurse asked softly.
"Y-yes!" He whined.
"Which of you three are the father of this pup?" The head nurse asked.
"We don't know," Eijiro admitted. "We all share his heat equally. It could be one of us, all three of us, or two of us."
"Split seed pups are rare but possible." The nurse agreed. "Do you wish to know? That's something we could do once your pup is here."
"No, we don't." Shoto said through gritted teeth as he gripped the bed. "All of them are puppy's dad regardless… We don't care."
"Understood," the nurse smiled at him. Kiri was rubbing his back while checking his phone to see if Katsuki or Izuku were trying to get a hold of him.
"Gender is to be kept a surprise right?"
"Yes." Eijiro nodded. "Ah there they are Sho."
Shoto looked up with a half smile as Izuku walked in the door, dragging Katsuki behind him. "Kacchan go sit down." Izuku ordered pressing a kiss to his forehead.
Katsuki nodded and sat, he hiccuped a bit as he watched Shoto be carefully placed on his back. "Is my mom… or sister coming?"
"They'll be here, your brother too."
Shoto whined again, and Katsuki was on his feet. He was kneeling beside the bed holding Shoto's hand. "Hey princess…. You're doing so good."
Shoto let out another whine but smiled happily, even drunk off his ass Bakugo was a great mate. "Is our puppy okay?" Izuku asked watching the monitor.
"Sometimes pups are just too excited to stay in their mothers wombs." A nurse replied. "Everything seems fine. Have you been doing anything strenuous in the last little bit?"
Shoto shook his head, to his dismay he hadn't even been allowed to patrol when he hit six months. He had essentially been trapped in the house since then. He was thankful his mates and pack were so good to him, while he was trapped in the house at least someone was with him. They seemed to take shifts at different times just to ensure he wasn't alone, but he hadn't done anything since he had been told he couldn't anymore. Patrols were a no go, and he even been told it was better to not do paperwork incase he read something that would put him onto a panic.
"We haven't let him," Eijiro remarked. "Most he has done is painted."
"Then your pup may just be ready now. I promise you, everything will be okay."
Shoto hoped they were being honest and weren't sugar coating anything. He knew how they could be exotically when an omega was in a panic.
Kirishima and Midoriya paced while Bakugo held Shoto's hand and mumbled about how amazing Shoto was and how strong he was being for them.
The rest of 1-A and some of their friends from 1-B were in the waiting room. Shoto's mother was the first to arrive followed by his siblings.
"Is he doing okay?" Natsuo asked.
"We don't know much, we were at a bar when his water broke." Mina explained.
"It is a bit early isn't it?" Rei asked, her brows were furrowed and lips pursed.
"Yes… but they haven't told us anything is wrong either." They were all hopeful everything was fine.
Shoto was being directed to push, his mates each needed their own quirk suppressant cuffs placed on once his labor began to take full effect. Black Whip nearly took a nurse out and Kirishima crushed the chair he went to sit in. Katsuki was mostly sober now, but when he heard people barking orders at his perfect pregnant mate and yelling at the handsome redhead he called alpha his anger sparked.
"Sorry, but it must be done." The nurse explained as they ensured the cuffs were secure. "Puppies bring so many emotions with them."
Shoto was cussing his alphas out. "I am… never letting any-any of you knot me again!" He screamed as he pushed. "No- no way!"
"That's right Sho, yell at us." Izuku praised. Shoto glared at him, he was always so cheerful and kind even when he was being yelled at.
Shoto kept pushing and yelling, each of his alphas got a good cussing at. Bakugo was the most hurt by it at the moment due to him still being clouded in the brain. If he had expected his mate to give birth today, he certainly wouldn't have been drinking. They thought they had longer before their pup would be born.
Tears were streaming down Shoto's face as he pushed, Izuku wiped the tears away as he continued to sob. "You're doing so amazing, you know that right?"
Kiri sent a text to the others letting them know he was in active labor. "Everyone cannot wait to meet our pup Sho, your mom and siblings are waiting too."
Shoto clenched his teeth, they had moved so fast he wasn't able to get anything to numb the pain. Bakugo yelped as Shoto squeezed his hand tightly. "Thats it 'mega." He mumbled knowing very well getting upset wasn't going to do anyone any good.
"Ah, there we are, you're just about done." The doctor smiled brightly. Shoto sighed as he pushed again. Izuku wiped his forehead again, kissing his face. Kiri was up on his feet, standing over Shoto watching as their child entered the world.
"Ahh, a beautiful little boy."
Shoto smiled, pride running through him. The others were happy as they heard the sobbing of a newborn. "Okay you will just need t- wait."
Shoto looked startled by the comment. Wait, what did wait mean?
"Keep pushing, you're not done." The doctor ordered handing the infant off to a nurse, Bakugo, Izuku, and Kiri popped their heads up in alarm. "Seems you had a hidden pup in there."
"TWINS!" Shoto shouted. "I am never, ever letting you knot me again!" He hissed but did as he was told. This labor was going far faster than he had anticipated, but that was fine. It made more sense why he had come early, there wasn't just one pup in there.
"Oh we need another car seat!" Izuku muttered.
"You will have time to do so," one of the nurses smiled as she swaddled their son. "Usually we keep pups and the birth givers for a day or two just to be safe."
The alphas sighed in thanks.
Shoto wasn't listening to them anymore, he just kept pushing. He was very done with labor, he was just thankful it wasn't a long or intensive one.
"Alright.. We have a head." The doctor smiled. Bakugo was fully sober now, having taken a look at the actual birth process. Two pups would be a lot of work, but there were four of them and their whole pack he was sure they would be fine.
Shoto kept pushing, and cussing. None of them had ever heard Shoto use half of the words he was spewing at them. He squeezed his eyes closed as he continued to push, tears running down his face. Kiri and Bakugo kissed his face, Izuku moving to check on their son.
"One more push and you should be good." The doctor said softly. "You're just about done."
"You said that last time!" Shoto yelled.
"He is usually very sweet," Kiri mumbled an apology. The doctor nodded in understanding, birth wasn't sunshine and rainbows, even a quick birth wasn't an easy one.
"You're okay, I understand that must have been upsetting."
Shoto groaned as he pushed again. "There you are, all done now for sure this time. A little girl."
Shoto smiled, breathing heavily but happy to be done. They brought the male pup over and placed them both on his chest. Shoto cried as he held them both, Kisishima, Bakugo, and Midoryia were crying too. Photos were snapped while Shoto nuzzled into the newborn pups.
"Wh-what should we name them?" He asked. The two of them were perfect, he didn't care which of his mates had fathered them or what their quirks would be if they even had one. He would do anything to protect them, he already adored them so much.
"Ren for our son?" Izuku asked.
Shoto nodded, he liked that name. The others agreed.
"What about Saika for our daughter?" Bakugo asked, running a finger softly across her back.
"I like that name." Eijiro smiled.
"I do too." Shoto mumbled as he gave another kiss to each of their faces. The nurses and doctors did the rest of their procedures, taking the pups to do their normal tests. Shoto was given some time to rest.
His alphas made their way out to the lobby with smiles plastered across their faces. "Has he had the pup yet?"
Bakugo grinned, leaning into Izuku some. "Yes."
"Healthy? All 10 toes?"
"Twenty." Kiri smirked.
The others' eyes widened a bit at the comment. "What?"
"Do they have a mutated quirk like myself?" Shoji asked curiously.
"Actually, no. There was another pup hidden in there, we had twins."
Everyone was excited at that comment, twins? That meant there would be two little Shoto's running around mixed with one if not all three of the alphas dna in there. "Is Shoto okay?"
"He is very fine, just resting, it was a quick labor. Didn't have time for anything to quell the pain."
"I see you three have suppressant cuffs on your wrists, did one of you try to punch a nurse?" Ochako asked.
"No…" Izuku mumbled. The others laughed, it was clear someone had attempted to do something but they woudln't pry.
"Can I see him?" Rei asked.
"Yes, all of you are welcome to come and visit, the pups are down at the nursery. I can show whoever wants to see them down there while the others can go see Sho." Izuku chirped.
"Oh I better call my mom." Bakugo said.
"Oh.. Me too." Izuku muttered, grabbing for his phone.
"You didn't tell your mothers!" Rei asked in surprise.
"We were a bit focused, we only called you because Shoto asked us too."
The others chuckled, they supposed they should have called the others parents but here they were now. Bakugo's mother was heard yelling in excitement for the twins, their usual exchange of insults wasn't being passed between them. This was a celebratory moment. Shoto smiled as the others appeared in his room, his mother and Fuyumi were quick to snuggle into him.
"Twins." They smiled excitedly.
"Yeah… that was a surprise." Shoto smirked. "I am so happy though… I couldn't decide if I would have wanted a son or a daughter more.. Now I don't have to decide."
They laughed and snuggled into him more. The others were excited too, those that followed Izuku to look at the twins through the glass. "They are so darling." Mina chimed as she looked towards them. Saika had more hair then Ren, one half of her hair was red like Shoto's while the other half was light brown. Ren had faint dark hair from what was visible but they couldn't really tell.
"Who pupped Sho?" Denki asked curiously as he examined the pups who were sound asleep.
"We don't know. We don't really want to know, we may find out as their quirks present but we do not care which of us did it." Izuku explained. "We are just happy they are healthy and here. It put us through a scare when they came early. We had no idea there were two. Oh speaking of that, can I give one of you my card? We need another car seat, stroller, and other stuff like that."
"Leave that to Auntie Mina, Jiro, and Momo." Momo exclaimed. "Keep your card."
"Momo…"
"You four should keep the funds, I've got this."
"We will be back."
"Oh, can I come with you?" Asui asked.
"Of course."
Asui smiled. "Ribbit. Thanks."
"Thank you four." Izuku smiled as he looked over his pups dreamily. He couldn't believe there were two of them, but he already couldn't imagine his life without them.
The pack split, either heading to the store or up to the waiting room or to Shoto's room. Another hour passed and the pups were placed back in Shoto's arms to eat. Shoto looked them over with a soft smile. "I can't even tell who they may be a mix of, I see Saika has my hair split with someones… Ren's hair is so dark, I cannot tell if it's black or green."
"That's sort of the fun." Izuku mumbled as he hovered over his mate and the newborns as they suckled and whined. "Not knowing is one of the best parts, we all have equal claim. Some of our quirks may mix in a way that is hard to tell too. Plus one for all isn't passable like that, so we know they either will not have a quirk from me or it will be fire or telekinesis from my parents. So if I see any fire, I am claiming it."
The others laughed a bit, between Shoto & Bakugo the flames were more than likely going to appear in one of the two pups. Kiri smiled as he ran a finger carefully along his son's cheek, Shoto smiled as he looked at his mates happily. Inko, Toshinori, Mitsuki, and Masaru finally made it to the hospital. Rei was still there, Enji had come but was in the waiting room with some of the young pro-heroes. He had been trying to do better since the war, but he knew not to be in the way, especially with this situation.
Enji was invited in by Katsuki after Shoto gave the okay.
"Two strong grandpups…" He smiled, rumbling in pride. Shoto side eyed him but said nothing. "Do we know what their quirks may be?"
"No idea, if they even get quirks."
"Between you four I wouldn't be surprised if they are very strong and powerful. They will be amazing future heroes like their parents." Shoto did smile at the idea, but he didn't mind if they didn't want to go down that path, being a hero wasn't the only profession they would be pushed towards.
Shoto snuggled into his pups some more. Inko and Mitsuki were already planning future birthdays for the pups and outfits that Mistuki wanted to make for them. Katsuki stepped forward with a smile on his face.
"We didn't expect this to happen so quickly, or this early so thank you all for being here. With that being said. Princess…" Katsuki smiled big. "Izuku, Kirishima and I wanted to ask you a question."
Shoto looked towards his mates, his head cocked in curiosity. "Will you marry us?" Kirishima asked.
"Wh-what?"
"Will you marry us?" Izuku asked again. Kirishima pulled a ring out from his back pocket. Shoto's eyes widened in surprise.
"Yes.. Oh yes.." He sobbed harder.
The young heroes smiled, Bakugo was quick to kiss Shoto's face. Izuku and Kirishima followed suit. They were so excited to continue building their family and making their mateship more official than bond bites. They had been graduated for four years now and now with their pups they wanted to make it official. Shoto smiled happily as the ring was slid onto his finger. Shoto examined it carefully, it wasn't a typical wedding ring. It was a gold band with four stones.
"This is beautiful."
"Each gem represents one of us." Kirishima smiled. There was a ruby, emerald, an orange calcite, & an opal that made up the ring. Shoto was looking down at it with tears in his eyes.
"Thank you.. All of you."
"Which last name are you taking?"
"We will figure that out when we get there. Or hyphenate." Shoto smirked. "The pup's birth certificates have all three of their last names now though so I may do that."
Rei, Inko, and Mitsuki were now mentally preparing a wedding, they were so excited. Enji, Toshinori, and Masuru were mentally preparing for wedding costs though between Enji and Toshinori they could easily pay for hundreds of weddings without much concern.
The pups were sound asleep in Shoto's arms, Bakugo and Izuku sat on either side of him and Kirishima sat at the foot of the bed. This was honestly the greatest day of their lives, they had two beautiful and healthy pups and they were officially engaged.
Life couldn't get much better than this, they couldn't be happier. Shoto had given them the world with their children and accepting them as his mates.
