As I start to wake up with Bella snuggled in my arms I think about what happened last night. I am going to have a lot of questions for Bella as the feed got jammed once she walked into the restaurant, thank fuck I thought to put in a recording device that had no signal to jam so hopefully we have something and she won't have repeat everything!
Jasper and Emmett had to hold me back from running over there and kicking his ass for kissing Bella's hand and proposing to her! I was beyond furious! It was only when I saw the look on Bella's face did I calm down as it looked like she was going to puke at James' action. I can't express how much I wish there was another way, but I also can't deny that this is the best option as there are fewer variables to try and work out then having to go to another state, but why did she have to agree to marry him?
I sigh at this thought and run my free hand through my hair, this movement makes Bella stir. I hug her even closer to me, trying to reassure myself that everything will be ok and that this will work out, Bella is mine and she has already proved that by getting the tattoo so I know I don't have anything to worry about there, but I don't want something to happen that could harm her or get her taken away from me because it would kill me.
These feelings I have for this woman that I have really only just met and have been forced to spend the rest of my life with are scaring me, but I know that I want to keep feeling them and I didn't know I needed them in my life till I was feeling them.
"Edward?" I look to Bella and see she is looking up at me with a tender look that is full of love and reply "Yes, love?"
"I love you, did you know that? And no matter what happens with this mission, I need you to know that nothing can ever change that and I may have to do some serious acting in order to pull this off, but I mean none of it ok?" I look at her and I give her a genuine smile and reply "I know you do Bella and I love you too. I never thought I was ever capable of loving someone, but I want you to know that I very much do love you and I trust you more than anyone else. I believe that you are the most qualified person to pull this off and as much as I have been trying to take down the Volturi family and I don't want to let that filthy bastard touch you, I know we need to play this game to make sure that no one dies, but our targets and the Volturi crime family is broken once and for all."
I sigh and she wraps her arms around me and says "Edward, it's going to be alright. We will get through this and I promise I will do everything I can do to make sure he doesn't touch me and we can take them all down as quickly and efficiently as possible! I don't want to have to do this, but this was the better option we had available to us and we can pull this off if we work together." She pauses and lifts up her arm to show me her tat and she points to it and continues "This here Edward is my commitment to you and the marriage that will join our two families together and our businesses as well. I wouldn't have ever thought I would ever want to be married to anyone, but I am so glad our father's thought of this, but although it was them that brought us together I am staying with you because I genuinely fell in love with you and I know there will be times we have to do separate jobs and we won't like what we have to do in them, but as long as we work together and keep communicating with each other and stay 100 percent honest with each other, everything will work out ok?"
I look at her tat and then smile and respond, putting as much love and emotion into my tone as I can "I am committed to you and this relationship, both with you and our businesses. I know everything will be ok, but I can't help feeling protective of you and what I consider mine. This mission will be a challenge for the both of us, but I agree we will make it through this… we have too!"
She nods her head and then I lean down to capture her lips. We kiss for what feels like forever, but was more likely only minutes till we need to breath. "Anyway Bella, we need to get up and start to get everything organised for you to get married to a man you're going to kill on Saturday." I laugh at her whining groan and face of disgust. It was kind of cute.
I get a scowl in return and her reply that comes out in a sigh "If we have too."
"Yes we have to as we want to get this over with as quickly, effectively and as quietly as possible" I say with amusement in my tone while swatting her butt as she past me to go to the bathroom. She turns to look at me for a brief moment before going into the bathroom to shower.
As tempting as it was to go in there and fuck her brains out, we do really need to get ready for the day. After about 15 minutes she walks out in nothing but a towel and goes into her closet, I go to her bathroom and take my own shower quickly.
When I come out of the bathroom however I don't see Bella in her room so I call out " hey Bella, where are you?" I hear a sigh coming from her closet and walk in to see her sitting on the floor with her head in her hands.
I rush to her side and gather her in my arms and ask "are you ok?" All I get at first was a nod, I lift her chin up to make her look at me and I look at her with a stern look that says 'I'm not buying that shit' and she sighs again and finally responds
"I'm just scared and feel sick at having to be so close to that thing and the unknowns of what I may have to do or say to get our mission done and Edward, I don't know how I am going to pull it off as the very thought of him touching me makes me sick!" She takes a deep breath and then looks up at me with conviction in her eyes, making me fall even more in love with this woman before she continues
"But I will get my part done, just make sure your ready to go with your end and also make sure that as soon as this is over we will get married asap as I don't want to wait anymore to be your wife and to join our families and businesses as I don't want to do things on my own anymore"
All I could do was nod my head in agreement and then hug her and rock her slightly. I have no clue how long we sat there, but my phone ringing made me move.
"Yes?"
"Edward, are you two ready to get over here and discuss our next moves? Or are you too busy fucking each other like rabbits?" I roll my eyes at Emmett's comments but I reply that we will be there in an hour as Bella is just getting dressed and packing a few things she will need.
After hanging up I go back to Bella, she is now standing in the nude and I wrap my arms around her and realise that I am still naked too. We both give a small giggle as she leans up and gives me a loving, but short kiss and we both move to get ready for the day.
Thank fuck I thought to bring some stuff here with me yesterday.
An hour later
We are in my office at Mason manor with Emmett, Jasper, Alice and Rosalie discussing our next moves.
"Right this Saturday, I'll meet him at the restaurant at 9 in the morning with only two bags, one with clothes and a secret compartment for some weapons and meds to knock him out at night and the other will be with the fake box number 666, does this sound right?" Bella asks everyone.
We all nod and then Jasper adds "Once you get into his compound, and have gone through the ceremony and any other bullshit, make sure you know you have access to the security as was stipulated in the email and then all you have to do is bid your time til he lets his guard down and we can get all our targets in the house at one time so we can strike.
"Make sure though you always watch your back and as soon as you see an opportunity to get those security codes to us and then you can signal us when it's time to strike. Although once inside you will get a USB stick onto his laptop and any other computer system on that compound so we can hack in and get everything we need off of his computers without him knowing."
We all nod our heads and continue on like this til a call comes through on my desk phone letting us know it's dinner time.
The next few days pass in a blur and before I know it it's Friday night. Tomorrow I temporarily lose my girl to another man and I still hate it just as much as I did when that email was written to him. I am currently laying next to Bella in her bed as I am having trouble leaving her, but I know I need to because we don't know if he has anymore surveillance on her place or not and I can in via her father's car in the boot and also via a tunnel leading to and from her weapons building, let me tell you that shits cool!
As I look down to the woman whom I used to think of as an enemy, I can't help but be amazed at how my life has changed for the better and I can't wait for this mission to be over so I can officially call her mine.
I lean down and kiss her with all the passion I have in me and she wraps her arms around me. "I love you, Isabella Swan and I want you to be damn careful while your in that asshat's grasp so you can come home to me"
