I look at her looking at me shocked at the fact that I was here with her. I put my finger to my lips and move to lock the door so we don't get interrupted by someone just barging in. Not that I am expecting that though.

Although I am not happy about the fact that she looks like she was about to move when I told her in my text not to move. Then again I guess I surprised her so I may be able to forgive her…. maybe.

I walk back over to her and sit on the side of the bed and just wrap my arms around her. I have missed her so very much, much more than I have missed anyone in my entire life. She looks so pale and more vulnerable than I have ever seen her, after being so strong and deathly lethal not too long ago she is looking so small and tiny laying in this big ass bed.

I am glad that everything with bubs is going ok and that she is ok, but I worry about her mental health and I have been so tempted to pull the plug on this mission, that is till I heard Aro wanting to name her as his daughter and heir as well as our baby.

When he asked for her opinion and views I almost spat out my coffee because Aro is old school, like my father, but unlike my father Aro never learned that females have more worth in our world when trained right then just being a good house wife and cook, clean and help to raise the babies.

Bella totally just rocked Aro's world with her charm and how well she holds her own and it just made me love her even more. We need to play this right and we can almost get Aro to do our own dirty work and maybe even force him into 'retirement' early and take over all of the Volturi territory rather than just James' part.

I pull back and kiss her deeply before saying

"I am so proud of you for the strength you shown today and I was worried for both of you, but you're so strong that our baby must get that strength from you to still want to stick around to meet us. I saw and heard everything via the cameras as they are everywhere. How are you feeling?"

She looks at me with unshed tears in her eyes and replies in a tired tone

"I feel relieved you're here, but I am so scared to what will happen next, while being thrilled at getting rid of that bitch! Are you really here? And as much as I have missed you and I love you, but is there food on that cart as I am hungry as all fuck right now that I could eat a whole cow!"

We both giggle at that last part of what she said and I get up, move to tuck in the covers back around her and then grab the cart and pull it to her. I then spent the next half hour just feeding her. Bella breaks the silence by telling me that she is full and letting out a massive belch that would have Emmett running for his money.

We both have another round of giggles and then she asks

"So what is going to happen now? Aro seems so eager to have me join him and to name me his heir, but is that something he is just saying, yet is he really just going to keep me around till I have our baby and then off me in my sleep? Am I ever going to be able to come home to you? How am I going to ke…"?

I put a finger to her lips to stop her rambles. I smile sweetly at her to try and give her some comfort before she stresses herself out with her overthinking ways. I take a breath and let it out in a soft sigh while I gather my own thoughts of missing her so much I just want to end this and bring her home, but I know that we need to see this to the end.

"Bella, love, just calm down. Everything will work out better than we planned it, ok? We just need to play this for a little longer as you have got Aro wrapped around your fingers now that if you keep playing things the way you are and start slowly showing everything you have worked hard to become we can actually get everything Aro Volturi has and make him and his family go into retirement and we will never have problems with them ever again.

"Before you say anything, Jane could be a problem later on in life, but we can keep an eye on her so don't even worry about that right now. I just want you to focus on the main goals;

Killing James and the Danabar brothers and getting Aro to go into retirement. Anything else I will handle ok? I have already gained most of the control of this compound and as long as you can make it to stay here, then we have them!"

She nods her head and then asks

"How much longer till I can come home? I miss my dad and even though I didn't get to spend much time with her I miss Alice too and I miss being able to be with you and train with you and all of that and I just want to come home.

"I am so scared for mine and our baby's safety here, I don't trust Aro or his wife's niceness at all. Please give me something to go on otherwise I am just going to keep over thinking things and that will stress me out more."

I just hug her and then tell her in a tone that basically says 'Don't worry you got this shit' without saying it as I doubt she'd listen to that as she is clearly not thinking straight because of either her changing hormones or her insecurities.

"Bella, just run this place like how you want to run your home. Don't worry about if Aro finds out about your training as he thinks your naturally gifted and just play that angle while being yourself. Think of everything you have ever done and know that it has lead you here and know you can do this! I believe in you and I am here behind the scenes helping you wherever I can.

"You. Are. Not. Alone. Here!" I then kiss her with everything I have, careful to not put too much pressure on her stomach as I don't want to hurt her after the stressful day she has had, but not being able to hold off having her against me any longer.

It's been so long since I have been able to kiss her, to hold her that this kiss, one that I intended to be loving and gentle, quickly turned into a heated one. I have to pull away, but I don't want her to think I don't want her.

So I just tone the kiss down a fraction at a time till I am placing a quick couple of chase kisses to her lips and then I place my forehead against her's and tell her

"I love you so much and I have missed you so much. I do want to go further, but I don't want to push you too hard after the day you have had. Don't fret though, when we have a bit more time I plan on loving you fully."

I see that she looks a little sad at learning that we won't be going any further tonight, but I see that she can see the logic behind why I am not going to take things further. I kiss her deeply again just to show her that I do desire her, but I know that I must go as the butler will be back soon for the cart and I have to go when he does.

"I have to go Bella, but know that I will be around and you're not alone. As soon as James, the Danabar brothers are gone and Aro has gone into retirement you can come home. Look after yourself and our baby and know that I have every faith in you and that I am doing my own part to make this work."

I kiss her once again, quickly lift up the covers to kiss her stomach, tell our baby to hang in there and be kind to his or her mum for me, replace the covers again and then make my way back to the door, unlock it and then get under the cart. I look up at her and say "I love you" then I let the cloth fall covering me as I hear a knock on the door and Bella say "Come in"

Next thing I know, the cart is moving. It is being taken to the kitchen where I have been 'working' since Bella has been here as I don't trust anyone else to cook for her and I just couldn't be away from her.

Luckily this compound isn't as well fortified as mine and Bella's homes are and that the Volturi's don't know what I look like, but during the day I have Esme cooking for Bella and I go sit in the attic space where James has a secret room set up for his private security room which we found out was where the master security system is controlled and the one that Aro knows about is just more for show, so myself and Jasper have been controlling everything from here.

I can't believe just how stupid and naïve The Volturi's are. I always thought of them as a very successful crime family that has been around for a very long time, like my own. My father would always talk very well of Aro despite our family's rivalry.

Then again it is thankful to us that they are or this would be so much harder. Thankfully Bella is all ok, and I so wish I could have fucked her brains out after what she did today because that was sexy as, but I didn't want to stress her or make her strain any more than she has today.

I know that if she wasn't pregnant then she more than likely wouldn't have acted the way she did, but the hormones running through her system just went into over drive or something like that from when Carlisle explained.

I didn't want to let Bella know that I was here, but I just knew she needed the comfort of knowing I wasn't too far away if she needed me. Anyway I make my way to the attic from here via a secret staircase in the kitchen, apparently James liked to come to the kitchen at night to grab some beers and snacks and then go and spy on his own staff rather than doing actual work.

When I get there Jasper looks up at me and then says "Check out what Aro is doing to James." I look over at the camera that is in the playroom/ torture room and see that James is hanging from the ceiling by his wrists and is shirtless and only has these black briefs on.

His head is hanging down and he looks like he has been badly beaten with whip marks all over his body, well all over where we can see from the camera angle. Aro is walking around his son telling him how pathetic he is and what he is planning on doing with his affairs and that he is going to be giving them to Bella and his grandson.

I almost laugh as James tries to plead for his life and then my hands curls into fists as he tries to tell Aro that Bella is nothing but a worthless female that wouldn't be able to handle the businesses and I really want to just run down there and pummel the fucker.

I don't though as Aro actually defends Bella, which surprises me though, then again just goes to show just how charming and loveable Bella is and how smart she is. She has wrapped Aro around her little finger and I am even more amazed at her then I am right now.

"Oh my god, how stupid is Aro? I can't believe this has gone the way it has, also I can't believe Aro is ok treating his son like he is." Jasper says patting my shoulder. I nod my head as I am actually speechless.

"Anyway I am going to go home to Alice. Call me if you need me."

"Ok, thank you Jasper. See you in a few days." And he left. I settle down for the night and look over at the camera for Bella's room and see that she is still awake and reading on the bed.

I pick up my phone and send her a text

Good night my love Xx – E

I watch as she grabs her phone and she smiles and quickly texts back.

Same to you Sweetie XxX – B

I smile as well and chuckle a little, then I look at the time and text her

Go to sleep, Bella or I'll send someone in with a sedative to put you to sleep. You need your rest, for both you and bubs. – E

Yes, Sir… Love you – B

Love you too – E

And then I watch as she puts the book and her phone on the bedside table, plugs her phone into its charger and turns off the light. The camera goes to night vision instantly and I see as she curls on her side facing the camera with one hand under her cheek.

I so want to be in there with her, but I know I can't be in case someone walks in. I make sure that everything is locked down for the night, well everything but what a normal home security system would so the owner of the house can come and go if they need to, but protect from break-ins.

In case you're wondering, this space is sound proof and so is every room in this building as long as it is locked, so as you can guess James and Victoria got caught because he didn't lock the door.

It's the weirdest thing I have ever seen and heard about and I have no idea how it was executed, but I think I need to find out how. After this is all over I'll be able to have this building inspected to work it out.

The next few weeks are going to go by so fast and they will be interesting to say the least with Aro's confession to Bella and tying up loose ends.

Next Day

I wake up to my alarm at 5 am to get started on the plans for the day. Jasper and our IT team have looked into everything our targets have been up to prior to us starting this and what Bella told Aro was true, The Danabar brothers have been doing deals on the side with The Volturi's drugs, alcohol and weapons to rivals.

Most of their deals have been with proxy's and we discovered that we have been one of the rivals that the brothers have sold to without even knowing it. So what we have done is put in more of a paper trail making it look worse than it is so that when Aro looks into what Bella told him, he will see that they have been very naughty indeed behind James' back.

I looked at James' finances and he is in a really bad financial situation. With all his drinking and paying hookers and buying gifts for Victoria, he has dwindled his fortune away. I hope that Aro takes Bella's opinion to heart as that would work out very well indeed for us.

Once I am dressed in the uniform that James' employees have to wear, which is similar to the uniform of a bell-hop in a really fancy old fashioned hotel. I hated it, but it is a great disguise. I have to wear this hat that I hate, but it hides my hair colour as most people in our world only know of my unique hair colour and I don't get looked at if I have to walk around while the Volturi's were around.

Mostly though I am in the kitchen or in the main security room or the attic space. I make sure I don't go near Bella, as hard as that is. Alice and Rosalie and my father are taking care of business at home while I am here, but they have the number of the burner phone I am using just in case they need to get a hold of me. I know that if Aro does take Bella's opinion to heart and calls me, my father will tell him I am busy and he will pass on Aro's number to me so I can call him back, to make him sweat a little deal he can't refuse.

I go about my 'duties' in the kitchen, which is mostly just lunch prep work and making of breakfast foods such as pastries and freshly made breads and so on, as well as cleaning. Yes, you heard that right I, Edward Mason is cleaning, but hey It's for a mission and my aunt made sure she taught me how to do so.

Today we would find out how Aro chooses to take what Bella told him and see if he actually contacts me about a deal. We should also find out what he intends to do with the Danabar brothers as well.

As the day goes by I get more and more anxious about what will happen next and I am trying to strategize different possibilities so I am prepared for anything. I don't like being caught off guard.

By lunch time my chores in the kitchen are done till dinner so I go into the security room and talk with James' men that have turned to our side and ask them how things are going. They tell me everything is going good and that Aro has the brothers in James' office telling them off.

I thank them and leave to go to the attic space to listen in. Once settled down I bring up the camera and audio for the office on the main screen and watch as the brother's sit shit scared of Aro's wrath as he tells them what their fate is.

"Now the both of you have done some very naughty things behind mine and my son's back. Since yesterday afternoon James is no longer in control here, I am, that is until Isabella is properly trained to take over until my Grandson is old enough. I have been going over everything you both have done and I have decided that my son should have taken care of you from the beginning and he hasn't, which has cost this family so much more than money."

I see him get up out of his chair and walk behind them and over to the book case. I wonder why for a moment until I see him pull a book towards him and then suddenly there is a doorway in front of him.

HOLY SHIT! THAT IS WHERE THE ENTRANCE TO THE BASEMENT IS! We knew there was a basement, but couldn't find where the entrance was, now I know. I search through the cameras while Aro is telling the brothers that it is time for them to take one last walk and they need to cooperate or go the hard way, but it 'could' work out for them if they cooperate.

But hearing his tone I could tell this was just a ploy, one that I have used often and he didn't mean any hope that it sounds like he is giving them, but their dumb asses believe his 'or else' and cooperates with him and they get up and follow him into the basement.

I am trying to look for any camera's down there when I see a message pop up telling me there is movement down there and the cameras are now turned on. I click enter and see as Aro walks the brothers into a bare white sterile room that hasn't got anything in it and for a moment I am again confused till I see him type a few things on a panel next to the door they just walked in through.

The room seems to morph into a mixture of the room that James is currently tied up in and Bella's hi-tech Weapon's room. DAMN THIS SHIT IS SO COOL! I so want this room in my sub-basement.

The brother's look at each other and seem to click now that they are not going to be leaving this room breathing and walking. They look at each other and without being asked to they walk over to the back of the room and stand on this section that seems to look like it is the floor of a bathroom, but smooth with no tiles and yet not concrete. It has a drain in the very centre of this section, underneath and in between where the brothers are now standing.

I see Aro press a few more buttons and these clear as glass walls come down around this section and lock into this raised barrier that's maybe about a metre high. Aro walks over to the wall and tells the brothers if they have any last words, to which they look to each other and say 'good bye, it's been a good run' and then say 'fuck you' to Aro and the Volturi's.

Without wasting a moment longer after this, Aro presses a button and what looks like water is falling on the brothers and again I am confused until I see them start to strip and try to run towards the wall, but end up slipping and dropping to the floor in agony and just ends up crawling back toward each other and holding onto each other trying to comfort themselves while crying and screaming out in severe pain as the 'water' like substance falls onto their bodies.

I assume now that the water is actually some type of acid and I can see that their flesh is falling, no melting away from their bones with a small amount of smoke coming off of them and they are now laying in a puddle of their own blood. I see Aro just staring at them with this blank look, that makes me question Aro's sanity and worry for Bella's safety around him, but then I realise that the look he is giving these two men who have betrayed his family is the same look I have been told I wear when I am disposing of my enemies and I suddenly wonder how safe is Bella with me and how could I ever be a good father.

As soon as this thought enters my head however I hear as voice in the back of my head, that strangely sounds like Bella's, telling me that I am an idiot for thinking that and that how I am dealing with my enemies is different to how I am with my family and that I am a good person.

So I shake off that awful thought and go back to watching the monitor. I see that all that is left of the brothers is a puddle and the acid has stopped making the smoke and the sizzling sound and the puddle is going down the drain with what now looks like actual water washing the mess away.

Aro presses a few more buttons and then the section seems to clean itself, which is very amazing by the way. He walks back out of the basement and back into the office. Once he sits down he presses an intercom button and calls for Bella to be brought into the office.

I watch as my baby mamma gets pushed into the office in a wheel chair, at least they are looking after her and keeping with Carlisle's bedrest direction – well, sort of - with her head held high, her back straight and her adorable baby bump showing under a simple blue maternity top that has a simple neckline. I think Alice said once that this type of neckline was called a sweetheart neckline or some shit, either way this top looks gorgeous on Bella.

Aro walks around the desk to gently hug her, dismisses the maid that brought her into the office and then ushers her to the desk and asks her if she'd like something to drink, I worry for half a moment that she may take him up on the offer, but she is smart and declines and asks what he needed as she was just about to take a small nap before dinner with his wife and daughter.

He apologies and proceeds to tell her that he has just finished dealing with the brothers, they are now no longer an issue and that he has decided to make Bella his heir and that once 'his grandson' turns 15 he will be trained to take over from her at 18.

I shake my head at this because he is playing right into what we want as well as at his idiocy at being so assured that the baby is a boy. Thankfully Bella points this out and tells him that he must think of something just in case the baby is a girl and Aro basically dismisses this by saying that he will think of something if that happens.

Again all I can do is shake my head.

Aro continues after a pause "Now I hope you have thought about accepting my offer to take over from me till my grandson is old enough to take over from you as I have been looking into what you said and found them all to be true. You could have just said nothing and let me be ruined, take your share and leave, but you were honest and I feel like I can't trust anyone else of my family other than my wife, so please Isabella, please take over from James and let me train you!"

Wow this fucker is really desperate! I know Bella and I talked briefly about this and I know she knows to accept this so we can get her home sooner, but I see that she is pausing to look like she is thinking.

"Aro, I accept your offer and I agree to be your heir with honour and I won't steer you wrong. So what is next 'Father'?" Bella replies. Her emphasis on the word father was a little forced, but still a nice touch and I can already see that she has made his day just by saying this.

"Well first things first, you need your rest. From tomorrow, if you're up for it of course, I'll be bringing you James' paperwork to sort out for me because you're on bedrest for the rest of the week. Then starting on Monday I am going to be training you on how to deal with those who are disloyal to us, starting with James. Don't worry he is going to be given some care before then so as to make it fair for your training and plus my wife wants some time to say good bye to him."

I stare open mouthed at the screen at Aro's words, like how the fuck can someone be so cold towards their own child? I know that James fucked up and he was a menace that the world needs to be rid of, but like damn.

I then think back to how Bella was with Barty and I know Aro is in for a rude awakening when he sees her in her element. James won't know what hit him as she will get her revenge for her mother.

Aro continues after taking a deep breath in and sigh out "I have quickly glanced at the paperwork and I am so angry at the few things that I have seen, which is why I want you look over them and give me your observances. From what I can see I am going to have to do a deal with the Devil and contact Edward Mason Snr and his son to try and salvage whatever is left of my family fortune. What you discover will tell me whether my wife, daughter and I retire comfortably or not and also if the Masons can let bygones be bygones and help out an old friend.

"I can't believe James; my own son has done so much damage. I wish that your parents had followed through with their end of the deal sooner and maybe things could have been different. Even with the contents of the security box that you brought won't cover what James has done anymore." Aro is walking around the office by this point and I can see Bella is not liking this, he better not be stressing her.

"Father, could you sit down please as your making me dizzy." She tells him

"Oh sorry, Isabella. I'm just rambling and didn't mean to pace. I sometimes do that to calm down." He sits down and leans back in his chair.

"It's ok, I understand. I'll do my best when looking over the paperwork and maybe things are not too bad once I look more into things as they do at first glance." Bella says in a calmingly sweet voice, I can tell she is only saying this to try and make it look like she is being the perfect heir to the family to wrap Aro around her little finger more.

'Oh nicely played, my love. Remind me never to cross you.' I think to myself, my chest swells with pride at how she is handling herself and I am glad she is actually on my side.

"Well yes, I hope your right on that, Isabella. Anyway I will take you back to your room so you can go have your nap and rest up. Don't want anything to happen to your or my grandson, now do we?" He replies to Bella with a big smile on his face as he walks towards her and grabs the handles of the wheel chair.

"Thank you, father." She looks up at him and smiles back as they leave the office and head towards her room. Once he helps her to the bed and leaves the room, I watch as Aro makes his way towards the room that James is still in since yesterday. I look at the camera that shows the torture room where James is chained by his neck and hands to the roof pulley system.

I can tell that he can move around in the room and he can hold his hands by his waist, but he is limited to how far from the bed he can move around. He can get to the very small washroom/ ensuite attached to the room that is right next to the bedside table, there is no door to this room so at least he can go to the toilet and wash himself, but he can't really do much else and he can't get to the main door either.

He looks up when Aro enters and he tries to rush Aro, only to basically choke himself and crumple to the floor. Aro picks him up and drags him back to the bed by his hair. He throws James down and clips his hands to the links on the bed. He goes around and does the cuffs I can now see around his ankles to the links at the foot of the bed so that James is now spread eagle on the bed.

What the fuck is Aro going to do? Once this is done, he steps back and gives a sad look before going over to the wall next to the main door to the room where there must be another intercom and whomever he calls he tells them he is ready. After about 3 minutes a big mountain of a man, Bigger than Emmett, comes in. I see James try to thrash around in his restraints when he sees this man.

"It is no use James, you brought this on yourself." Aro says to James before looking at this man and says "Have fun, but please remember that his mother still needs her goodbye and I don't want her to see her son with too much damage, well more than there already is from yesterday and also he still needs to be able to handle me training my new heir on him. Make sure you get someone to clean him afterwards as well."

With a nod of the man's head, Aro leaves the room and goes towards the office. I see that this guy is stripping while walking over to the draws that is next to the main door. Holy fuck this guy is a dominant in BDSM and James is his new sex slave. Shit, I got to take my hat off to Aro, he is breaking James and torturing him without harming him too much for his wife's sake and until Bella is up for her revenge.

Damn I think I have to add this to my list of torture techniques. I go about getting ready for my next lot of duties around the house as James screams start. I turn off the sound and leave the attic space, making sure it is locked.

The next few weeks will be interesting.
