Yo friends of fanfiction, I'm back! I know it's been a minute, but, I can explain, I was reading the whole Love Is War manga, yeah, that took a bit so... Anyway! I'm back now!
RR
Enjoy the story!
"Pikachu! Thunder bolt!" Ash commanded with a wild smile. He was currently fighting a Salamence owned by, what looked like, a top goon of, uh, actually Ash never caught the name of this villain group. 'Whatever. They're bad guys, I'll stop them.' Ash thought with the simplest mind set.
Team rocket was fending off what seemed to be lesser members and, surprisingly, they were winning! It was Wheezing VS Marowak, Arbok VS Machoke and Meowth VS Rattata. If you look at the pokemon they use, you can easily tell they were once team rocket. "Alright!" James cheered. "We're kicking their ass!" He in shock, usually he would be blasting off at this point in a battle.
"Don't get cocky!" Meowth yelled as he dodged an attack and countered with one of his own.
"Aww, let him enjoy it a bit." Ash said, his battle dragged him all the way to the trio. "Pikachu, IRON TAIL!" The mouse jumped into the air, tail glowing, and slammed down upon the Salamence.
The admin gritted his teeth. "Damn!" He cursed. "Salamence, DRAGON TAIL!" The dragon type roared and their tail glowed purple.
Ash had a wild smile, so did Pikachu. "Meet it head on with volt tackle!" He commanded, throwing his hand forward in a dramatic way. Purple and yellow clashed, both pokemon gritting their teeth, trying to over power the other. "Come on, PikaCHUUUU!" Ash cheered, his nails digging into his palms.
"Don't falter, SALAMENCE!" The admin growled.
"Is this pointless farce still going on...?" It felt like the whole world froze, everyone looked to see the source of the deep, low, voice. They all saw a tall man with dark, purplish hair, covering most of his face. He wore a long tan open coat, that reached his knees, a plain black shirt with a blue sash wrapped around his waist, gray pants and red and black shoes and a purple necklace around his neck, with what seemed to be a locket at the end of it. "Or must I end it?" He turned to the admin, no doubt glaring at him through his hair.
"Forgive me leader." The admin bowed in apology.
Ash was confused briefly by the new arrival, but quickly smirked. "So, you're the boss?!"
The man looked his way and flinched. "What are you-!" He cleared his throat. "That's right. You are?"
"Ash Ketchum!" He introduced with a smirk. "You heard of me?" Our hero gloated.
"I believe I have." The man walked towards Ash. "So, tell me, Ash Ketchum, why are you disrupting my operation?" He was now face to face with the boy.
Team rocket looked on at the two. "Should we do something?" Jessie whispered.
"I think we should leave them to it..." James whispered back.
"Well..." Ash began, not intimidated by the slightly taller man. "I heard from an anonymous source your group here are former team rocket members." He shrugged. "I can't let that slide. Can I?"
"Heh, I suppose not."
"So, we gonna fight?" Ash asked, eyes full of fire.
The man let out a brief chuckle. "No." He then snapped his fingers. "We're leaving!" His men began to pack up everything. "See you around, Ash Ketchum." With a flick of his coat he walked off into the forest.
"WAIT DAMMIT!" Ash tried to run after him but Pikachu got in his way. He then sighed. "You're right. It's not worth it..." He ran to where the beam was and found, "It's empty!" Nothing.
The rocket trio rushed over. "How can it be empty! We all saw the weird beam..." James said in disbelief.
Paul was currently in a very crowded Johto stadium, so crowded he was touching shoulders on each side of him. Why was he in such a crowd you ask? Well... "C'mon Dawn, win..." He was watching the Johto grand festival of course. Cheering on Dawn was his job for today, just like tomorrow was Dawn's job to cheer him on in the league.
"Go, Piplup! Bubble twill!" Dawn commanded, wearing her moon, lunar themed dress. Piplup spun around like a top, using bubble beam all the while, and it formed what looked like a tornado, which drew gasps out of the judges, "Break it!" Dawn yelled, she too was spinning. Just as its trainer said, Piplup broke the tornado of bubbles and it looked like it was raining crystals, it was beautiful.
"So pretty..." Paul mumbled with unfocused eyes, he could barely tell which part of what he saw was so pretty to him. Dawn's face became as bright as the sun when the judges gave her a 10, 7, 9 and 8. Paul couldn't help but smile seeing her so happy. "Damn..." He mumbled. "Who am I?"
Many rounds passed along with the hours and, despite what he'll tell Dawn later, Paul enjoyed watching, he even got a few good ideas for his own battles. But, now it's the final two, Dawn and some dude named Mashina, Paul tried to suppress his laughter, 'It sounds like a girl's name!' He hated thats what he thought.
"I've heard much about you, Dawn." Mashina said from across the field with a bow. He was dressed as a typical prince. Blond hair and blue eyes to boot.
Dawn rubbed the back of her neck, something she picked up from Ash no doubt. "Um, likewise." She flashed a smile. "T-that's a lie, sorry."
The prince laughed. "No need, I understand." He smiled, pulling out a pokeball. "How bout we get this performance underway?"
Dawn eagerly nodded. "Yeah! Let's go." She too smiled and pulled out her pokeball.
"Go, Quilava!"
"Staraptor, do it!"
They both yelled at the same time.
Paul was on the edge of his seat. "C'mon Dawn, you've come too far to lose now, stupid..."
The two Coordinators stared each other down, seeing who'd make the first move. Mashina decided to take the stage. "Staraptor! Dancing brave!" The Predator Pokémon nodded to its trainer and flew up to the sky. The bird started to glow gold and then silver.
"Whoa..." Paul mumbled, he had to admit, it looked cool.
"CRASH!" Mashina yelled, giving a thumbs down. Staraptor flew down, the gold and silver now alternating, and charged at Quilava.
"Quilava! Dodge." Dawn commanded, sweating a little. The Volcano Pokémon moved out of the way just in time, gracefully.
"Heh..." Mahina chuckled under his breath. "Rotation!"
Dawn's eyes went wide. "What?!" She watched as the flying type rotated, still glowing, and nailed Quilava. She looked up to see that did a number on her points.
The prince had a condescending grin on his face. "Oh, come on." He flicked his blond hair. "Is that really all you can take?"
The blue haired coordinator gritted her teeth, his pokemon was stronger... But! She put on a bright smile. "I'm not done yet!" She's got experience!
"YEAH! Don't lose to this dick-wad!" Paul screamed, he was getting into this shit.
Pretty much everyone in the stadium looked at Paul, who was blushing in embarrassment. Dawn giggled and flashed her brightest smile and gave him a thumbs up. "NO NEED TO WORRY!" She had friends too, people looking out for her.
The purple haired trainer sank into his seat and muttered. "That's when I worry the most..."
"That doesn't sound like Ash at all..." Max mumbled, cleaning his glasses.
"Yeah." Was all Gary could say.
"Do you guys know why he acted like that?" Max asked, putting his freshly cleaned glasses on.
Brock shook his head. "No. I've tried to let him do what he wants, but, it's gotten more and more extreme." He said recounting Ash's actions.
"I may have an idea." Gary chimed in, pulling the other two gazes at him.
"Really?!" Brock was surprised.
"What is it?" Max was curious.
"Well... It starts with love, pokemon and other delusions." Gary said in the most dramatic way possible.
Both Max and Brock sweat dropped. "And that means?" The glasses wearing boy asked, unsure of what Gary means.
"Y-you don't get it!?" Gary was shocked, "I sounded so cool too!" He complained, mumbling curses under his breath.
Max face palmed, "How are you older than me...?" Brock just laughed in the background.
"S-shut up!" Gary stuttered. "You!" He pointed to Brock. "Stop laughing!"
Despite Gary's wishes Brock's laughter never ceased. "Sorry, sorry."
"Can we get back on topic..." Max groaned. "Gary, what do you know?" He asked, fixing his glasses.
The spiky haired boy calmed himself with soothing breaths. "Fine." He grumbled. "Let me start with...
AND THAT'S THE END! I know you must hate these damn cliff hangers. But, I love em. They give me time to think about what's next. For those of you who haven't yet, please check out my other story, BFTH. It's good, I think... It's got longer chapters! And a more serious plot if that's your thing. Maybe just read some of it? Or all of it? I'd love you if you did! Well, after that pathetic display... I'll see you later, friend of fanfiction!
