Read and Review!

I don't own pokemon (No crap!)

Ash was currently strollin' through the snowy landscape that is snow-point city and was looking around as if looking for something. "I hope that those two are here..." He mumbled, looking down to the ground, disappointed in himself. "I need to apologize to them... Big time..." Our hero muttered, mad at his actions back on the plane. As he wandered, he was thinking of what he could say. How he could explain what came over him. Hell... Even he doesn't know, fully, what went down, what went wrong...

Ash sighed as he continued to walk with his down. But, not for long...

"Ow!"

The next thing Ash knew was that he was on the ground, when he looked up, he saw another person. He put two and two together and realized he ran into someone. "I-I'm sorry!" He stuttered, trying to stand back up.

"Dammit man! What where... you... are... goin'..." The man Ash ran into, his speech slowly trailed off, as if he realized something. "Ash?!"

When Ash heard his name and got a better look at the man. "Gary?!" He screamed out in surprise and relief.

The two boys got up and, Ash looked to Gary's side to see Brock on the left and... A glasses wearing boy on the right. Ash smiled when he saw his friends and ran up to the two for a hug. "I'm so glad you guys are safe!"

Brock hugged back and Gary sighed and patted Ash's back before peeling him off of him. "We need to talk." Was all Gary said, with a serious face.

Ash groaned, but knew he was right... "Alright..." He mumbled. "So... Who is your friend?" He asked, turning towards the boy on the right.

Paul sat in the pokemon center lobby, waiting for his pokemon to be healed by nurse Joy, with his head held high! He was able to win his first of many pokemon league battles. Not just win, win by a sizable margin! "I can do this..." He uttered happily under his breath with a faint smile. "I can win..." He looked up to the roof of the pokemon center with a full grin, one he didn't even know he could muster.

"Look at you smile away."

Paul came back to his senses when he heard a familiar feminine voice. It was his one and only, first as well, travel companion, Dawn. "I'm surprising myself." Paul mused, his smile never fading.

Dawn giggled and sat next to him, with a carefree smile on her face. "I'm glad to see you smile like that." Dawn looked out the window, as if looking at the past. "You used to be so... cold and... mean.." Paul flinched at her words, knowing that they are right, but before he could utter a reply, Dawn spoke again. "But, now..." She looked at Paul with a beautiful smile. "You're different." Dawn giggled into her palm. "Good different."

Paul just stared, as if he saw an angel descend to the earth, it was as if he was watching a painting in real time. "Thanks..." Was all he could say.

Dawn smiled at him and nodded. "Thank you too." When Paul asked her with his eyes what she meant, she continue talking. "Going on this journey with you..." She looked his right in the eyes, which made Paul turn a little red, her eyes full of admiration, respect and more. "Was the best decision I've made in a long time."

Paul was once again stunned, it seemed this girl had an ability to do that to him. He shook his head, trying to find the words, and what came out wasn't what he was truly feeling. "Yeah, I've had a lot of fun with you too."

Dawn let out a carefree, bubbly giggle. "I'm glad!" She calmed herself down and sat one last thing. "I'll be cheering you on until the end!" After that she stood up and walked off to her room, one rented in the pokemon center.

Paul watched her go and waited until she was out of view to let out a heavy sigh. "Damn..." He closed his eyes. "I hate when she walks away like that..." He chuckled. "But I do like watching her go..."

"THERE IS NO WAY YOU ARE MAX!!" Ash exclaimed, falling down onto Gary's bed in the pokemon center room. "Like... How?!" He was in complete disbelief, heading his head in denial.

Brock put a hand on Ash's shoulder and said, with a stoney expression. "I felt the same way..." And then he busted into tears, pulling Ash into a tight hug. "I'M GETTING SO OoOld!!"

Ash was surprised by Brocks reaction, but patted him on the back regardless and said. "It's alright, man..."

Gary watched the two and sighed. "Are you two done..." He asked, trying his hardest not to bust out laughing. "I wanted to discuss some serious shit!" He yelled, combing his hair.

Max adjusted his glasses with a confident smirk. "I'm so grown up, I know."

Ash was able to peel Brock off and place his cryin' self next to him. "What is it?" Ash asked, but already having an idea of what needed to be discussed.

Brock calmed himself, wiping away his tears, trying to cope with his age and said. "It's about you, Ash." He said, placing a hand on his best friend's shoulder, his voice filled with concern.

"Yup." Gary said with a nod. "It's about love, pokemon and other delusions!"

"WOULD YOU STOP SAYING THAT!" Both Brock and Max screamed at the same time which made Gary fall off his feet and spin around like Charlie Brown.

"I don't get it..." Ash mumbled. "What's wrong with what he said?" He asked with a head tilt.
