"yea though i was lucky that the last truck stop had some and you guys were a good distraction for the old man" Kevin said as he gestured to a bag near the rustbucket which had the decorations
"now we just need to wait on Naruto" Gwen said as she looked around for said blonde
suddenly a blue blur zipped by and left some tall out boxes which had the label the Rising Tide on them
"I'm back with the food for the party" XLR8 said as his visor lifted up showing his grin
"You went all the way back home to get food from your moms place?" Kevin asked taking note of the restaurant logo on the take out boxes
"Of course, where else would I go? Big Belly Burger? besides my mom eqs distracted talking to some kid with green hair so i swiped some food before she could catch me " XLR8 said with a shrug
before Kevin could respond to this Gwen's phone went off causing her to look at it
"it's for you moron" Gwen said as she showed XLR8 the phone who's caller ID was showing a image of Kushina
"you talk to my mom?" XLR8 asked curiously at this
"just answer the phone" Gwen said as she hit the answer button and shoved her phone into his hands as she looked over what food he had brought for the party
"Hey don't answer- Hey kaa-san how are you doing?" XLR8 was saying before he saw the call had been answered
"don't Hey Ka-San me! you think you can steal food from my restaurant?! If you weren't my son I would rip off your arm and beat you with the wet end!" Kushina yelled loudly over the phone

"it's for a surprise birthday party for Oji-San Ka-San so lower the volume will ya?" XLR8 said into the phone lowly so they wouldn't be overheard
"you forgot the cake" Gwen said as she looked up from the food containers XLR8 had brought
"oh jeez" XLR8 said with a groan at this
"You forgot what?! what kind of example is that going to be for your new sis-" Kushina was yelling over the phone before she was cut off
reason being that a bright yellow portal had opened in front of the three teens before what looked like a cloaked figure flew through it and towards Gwen before the figure grabbed her with a purple energy construct and pulled her towards the open portal
"hey! what the heck?!" Gwen yelled as she was pulled through the portal with the cloaked figure
"hey!" XLR8 yelled as he threw the phone away and sped after Gwen and the figure barely making it through the portal just as it closed
"oh great" Kevin said as he caught Gwen's phone before it fell to the ground
"hello?! you better not be ignoring me you brat!" Kushina was heard yelling over the phone

in a big futuristic city that had flying cars and what looked like both humans and aliens living amongst each other suddenly a yellow portal opened and XLR8 sped through it and smashed into a wall nearby
"Ow… Uh… either I just got sent to another planet… or I'm in cyberpunk" XLR8 muttered in awe as he looked around before what looked like a hover car with some teens riding in it stopped to hover over him
"Hey Uzumaki! keep up the good work!" one of the teens yelled with a grin as they waved at XLR8 before the hover car took off again
"uh thanks?" XLR8 asked as he waved back at this before he noticed Gwen who was confronting the cloaked figure nearby
"OK why did you pull me here? I have something important to do!" Gwen yelled as she made some mana charge in her hands
"yea we both do you- Oh come on!" XLR8 yelled as he sped over buy as he arrived the Omnitrix went off and in a flash of red light he was Naruto again
"Figured you would time out by now and you just got grandma's grimoire so should you really be using mana?" the cloaked figure asked as they raised a hand and snapped her fingers causing her cloak to change to a outfit that was very familiar to them, more specifically Gwen
"W-w-wow" Naruto said with a blush at seeing the older version of Gwen who lowered her hood and smiled at them
"you're me" Gwen said as her eyes widened in surprise as the mana in her hands faded away
"well you 25 years from now" Future Gwen said with a grin at her younger self as she put her hands on her hips
"25 years? do I get a doctorate? please tell me I at least get a college degree" Gwen asked as she smiled at this
"what about me? I'm still a hero right?" Naruto asked with a grin at this
Future Gwen smiled as she turned Naruto's head to show him a statue of himself but older

"Sorry can't say, spoilers, time travel rules" Future Gwen said kindly
"Dang it." Naruto said as he snapped his fingers in annoyance
"why are we here? I mean would you wouldn't have brought us here if there wasn't a reason" Gwen said as she looked at her future self
"I need your help, more specifically future you needs help" Future Gwen said as she looked at Naruto
"Me?" Naruto said surprised as he pointed at himself
"Yes, but we should take this somewhere else" Future Gwen said as she waved her hands and caused some mana to form a sphere around the three of them before it quickly disappeared along with them

the mana sphere appeared in what looked like a high tech base before it faded away revealing the two teens and adult
"nice to know I actually get better with that" Gwen said with a smile as she looked at her future self
"oh wow is this my future base of operations?" Naruto asked as he looked around seeing that there was many displays showing live footage of city's all over the world
"well your personal base" Future Gwen said as she shrugged a bit
"I have multiple bases?!" Naruto said as his grin got bigger
"focus" Gwen and her future self said together before Gwen looked at her older self surprised
"Sorry, sorry, it's just amazing to know how far we go. I mean we go from the Rustbucket to this, it's amazing… wait I thought time travel laws say no spoilers" Naruto said
"Hence why I'm not telling you anything you don't need to know to help me now let's get started" Future Gwen said as she waved her hand causing the floor to open and what looked like a meeting table and several chairs to lift out of the floor
Gwen counted out each of the chairs and noticed there were six of them. "Are we expecting more people at this meeting?" she asked curiously
"no the rest of the team is off looking for leads on the enemy" Future Gwen said as she gestured to the table for them to sit down
"I have my own team?" Naruto asked with a grin as he sat down in a chair
"focus" Gwen and her future self again said together
"oh great now I have this in stereo" Naruto said with a pout as he crossed his arms
Future Gwen chuckled at this before she waved her hand causing a large computer screen nearby to turn on and show them a image of what looked like people dressed up as snakes
"Who are they?" Gwen asked as she looked at the group
"meet Kobra they are a dangerous cult, and currently they have you captured and unless the government releases their leader within 12 hours…" Future Gwen said before she trailed off and frowned
"How did they capture me?" Naruto asked curiously as he didn't see how if he had so many aliens now that he would get captured
"Well you were going to a meeting between dimensions and they closed the portal catching it, catching you in between dimensions, they won't free you unless they get what they want" Future Gwen said as she crossed her arms
"meeting between dimensions?" Gwen asked raising a eyebrow at this
Naruto chuckled nervously at this as he had a good feeling what that was about
"grill him later we have less than 12 hours to find where they are keeping the device that is keeping future you trapped In between dimensions" Future Gwen said as she stood up before a buzzing sound went off which was coming from her ear
"we still have earpieces?" Naruto asked curiously
Future Gwen ignored this as she walked over to a different part of the room and tapped her ear causing what looked like a holographic image of a younger woman with short green hair appeared in front of Gwen
"Ah tatsumaki have you found any trace of Kobra?" Future Gwen asked the Holographic image
"I have I am sending you the locations of where I'm heading" Tatsumaki said with a emotionless tone before she looked behind future Gwen spotting Naruto and Gwen
"oh heh say hi you two" Future Gwen said with a chuckle as Naruto and Gwen approached
"…..really? were doing this instead of me dropping a meteor on them?" Tatsumaki asked as she looked at Future Gwen with a cold tone
"I'm sorry, dropping a what?" Gwen asked surprised at this while Naruto's eyes widened at this
"you know we don't do that to earth born threats Tatsumaki" Gwen said with a firm tone
"fine, and I'm guessing you pulled those two from before they met me hence why you're using my hero name?" Tatsumaki asked as she looked at Future Gwen
"well they met you but not after the hair change" Future Gwen said with a nod at this
"so no master control, great a handicap, whatever, just meet me at these coordinates so we can save Naruto" Tatsumaki said before she ended the call making her image disappear
"that one has a attitude" Gwen said as she crossed her arms
"yea but she's the world most powerful psychic and yes I'm including Martian manhunter" Future Gwen said as she looked at Naruto who raised his hand to ask a question but stopped and looked shocked at this
"OK so what's the plan?" Gwen asked her future self who was obviously the one in charge for this mission
"we meet up with Tatsumaki and take a look at this base" Future Gwen said as she waved her hands and made a magic portal appear in the room
"you can pull a doctor Strange now? cool!" Naruto said with a smile as he approached the portal to take a look
"get moving were on the clock" Gwen said as she shoved Naruto though the portal before following after him

in the outskirts of neo Gotham Tatsumaki was looking over a cliffside at what looked like a massive warehouse which had several guards surrounding it and a few on the rooftops
a portal opened up behind her and a second later Naruto fell out of it slamming onto the ground
"Oof! what a rush" Naruto said as he shook his head from being dizzy after using a portal for travel
"you had to get a version of him pre him getting drafted?" Tatsumaki asked Future Gwen as she and Gwen came out of the portal with closed behind them
"hey this spell is new, I haven't perfected what point in time I'll end up" Future Gwen said
"uh huh sure, you just want to reminisce about them being- mppph!" Tatsumaki was saying before mana appeared around her mouth thanks to the older Gwen
"No spoilers, big mouth, timeline issues remember" Future Gwen muttered firmly
"Wait, what about us?" Gwen asked with a raised eyebrow at this
"Not important, so what's the situation, Tatsumaki right?" Naruto asked as he approached as the mana around her mouth faded
Tatsumaki hesitated at this before she saw a look future Gwen was giving her and sighed after doing a mental sweep of the warehouse down there I have found out that they are keeping the machine that is keeping……Naruto trapped between dimensions under heavy guard and if we destroy it then he should be free to return to this dimension" Tatsumaki explained pausing before she said Narutos name as if hesitating for a moment
"so we go in find the machine and destroy it" Gwen said as she nodded along with her future self
"sounds easy to me" Naruto said with a grin as heblooked down at the warehouse
"don't be a moron, they have high tech weapons and a few of them are spliced so expect them to hit hard" Tatsumaki said with a firm tone
"spliced?" Gwen asked while her and Naruto raised their eyebrows inquisitively at this
"it's a illegal procedure that splices animal DNA with your own, I'm assuming that they are spliced with different kinds of snake DNA" Future Gwen said getting a nod from Tatsumaki
"So like Man-bat back home?" Naruto asked curiously
"Basically just different things than bats and more reptilians and serpentine" Tatsumaki said nodding at this
"ok let's do this then" Naruto said as he activated the Omnitrix and went to pick an alien

inside the warehouse legions of cobra cult members were stationed inside the warehouse, more specifically they were guarding what looked like a massive machine which looked like a metal gate which was keeping what looked like a sphere of light contained inside of it

"What was that?" one of the cult members asked as the front door of the warehouse shook violently leaving a massive dent in the door as if something big had punched it
"Maybe it's the pizza guy?" one of the cult members asked trying to lighten the mood
"Shut up Bob" one of the other cult members said before the door was smashed open as Humongosaur smashed his way inside
"wow doors in the future can take a punch" Humongousaur said with a smirk as he cracked his knuckles
"it's Uzumakis brat! frag him!" one of the cult members yelled as they all took aim at Humungousaur with their blasters
"I have a kid?" Humungousaur asked his eyes widening in surprise at this while Gwen future Gwen and Tatsumaki flew in behind him
"focus!" Gwen and future Gwen yelled as they both had mana in their hands ready to fight
The Cobras lined up firing off Laser blasts at the heroes, Gwen waved her hand forming a barrier of violet energy blocking the shots fired.
Tatsumaki's hair flared as her eyes glowed levitating their weapons from their hands but suddenly she turned to her side as gun turrets became trained on her shooting off rounds forcing the green haired psychic to fly across the sky evading the shots.
Humongousaur rushed towards the machine but was blocked by two large muscular cobra splicers they changed Humongousaur punching him with a hard uppercut then followed with a heavy blow to the gut the saurian brushed it airside striking back with a barrage of his own blows punching one back with another charing in he lunged ensnaring the alien hero in his grip applying strong pressure around his midsection.
Humongosaur began to grow in size flexing his body pushing the cobra splicer off another thrusted his his head down ready to bite into him with his fangs when a golden aura covered body levitating him from the ground and smashing him into the nearby wall.
Naruto looked up and smiled at Future Gwen hovering, giving him a finger salute before floating back to join the girls in the fight.
A Cobra came at Gwen but she easily kicked him in the jaw followed with another strike to the neck to another.
Several Cobras armed with laser lances opened fire on Tatsumaki striking her in the chest causing her to scream out in pain as she fell to the ground Gwen waved her hand creating a platform catching the young psychic.
Future Gwen raised her hand up unleashing a surging bolt of light in from her palms shocking several cultists.
Humongasur heard a familiar beeping and looked down to see the Omnitrix flash reverting him back to his human state.
"shit!" Naruto yelled in frustration before what looked like some betal plates that was glowing green suddenly ripped themselves off the roof and blocked some blasts the Cobras sent at him
"you really need to go down that list of codes that nerd version of you sent you" Tatsumaki said as she held her hands up using her psychic powers to keep the metal plates in the air so they would block for them
"You know about that? wow future me must trust you a lot" Naruto said with a grin at Tatsumaki
Tatsumaki said nothing to this as she glared at the cultists who continued to fire on them. "I think you can get to the machine if I give you an opening?" she asked Naruto
Naruto nodded at this as he was ready to help even without the Omnitrix
Tatsumaki nodded at this before her body started to glow green before she shouted and sent a invisible force at the cultists which not only sent them flying but it destroyed the wall behind them sending them out of the warehouse
"woah I get the feeling worlds most powerful psychic is not just you bragging" Gwen said as she was surprised at this show of power as Tatsumaki spin kicked a cobra member in the face and sent him flying onto a wall thanks to her attack being charged with psychic energy
Naruto made a run ducking under a Cobra's blade sliding down picking up a discarded rifle taking aim her fired off a blast at the control unit blowing it to pieces
"no!" one of the cobra cultists yelled as the gate around the sphere shut down
The sphere began cracking as massive green light erupted from each crack before finally shattering apart revealing a taller more muscular version of Heatblast flames surged from his shoulders like burning torches, his eyes narrowed at the Cobra cultists, he held up his arm forming a mini hand cannon as he took aim forming a sphere of fire before unleashing it in full force blasting the cult members away.
The splicers roared charging at Future Heatblast, the pyronite's flames surged, he stomped his foot to the ground causing pillars of fire to engulf them he turned to his left as the flames of his left shoulder formed a spiral shield blocking off shots fired by the gunmen.
Naruto's flames blazed higher as he took a running stance narrowing his eyes towards them before shooting off like meteor knocking them away shooting several of them into the roof and the wall.
Heatblast smirked as he turned back towards the group lightly tapping the front of the Omnitrix emblem on his chest revealing a man with long blond hair reaching down to his back a cross shaped scar on the top of his shoulder his whisker marks were thicker his body having more muscle covered by a tight black tank top with a short red vest with black flames on the bottom with blue jeans and black boots, five blond bangs framed his face showing his icy blue eyes on his right arm was a different version of the Omnitrix resembling a gauntlet
"Whoa..." Naruto uttered gazing upon his smirking future self
Future Naruto smiled at Naruto before he looked at Future Gwen "didn't expect you to test out your new time travel spell just to save me Gwen he said as he waved at her and Gwen greeting them
'W-w-wow' Gwen thought with a blush as she looked at the older Naruto as while she thought her Naruto was cute, this older Naruto was something else entirely
"well we didn't have a lot of options, I told you not to send so much of the league off planet in case someone pulled something" Future Gwen said as she and Gwen approached
"Yea your right future" Naruto said with a sheepish chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head
"wait the league? as in-" Naruto asked as he looked at his future self in awe before he was cut off by Tatsumaki
"no spoilers, now let's get those two home before they find out something they shouldn't" the psychic said as she looked at Future Gwen and crossed her arms
"right, give me a few minutes" future Gwen said as she crossed her legs and started to hover in the air as she channeled her magic
"aw man I had some questions" Naruto said as he pouted a little at this
"you don't need to be ruining the timeline now let's go we have a birthday to get to" Gwen said as future Gwen finished her spell and a portal opened up for them
"ah right here as thanks for the help" Future Gwen said as she waved her hand and made what look like a small box with a button on top appear in Gwen's hands
"Wait hold on, I've got so many questions.." Naruto said to his older self who simply gave him a warm smile and gentle hand in his shoulder
"All you need to remember is to always believe in yourself, trust me after all...I'm you." Future Naruto said as the two shared a smile before the duo walked through the portal
"finally now I can stop hiding this" Future Gwen said as what looked like a diamond ring appeared on her ring finger
"hey your the one who decoded to be nostalgic and bring in our past selves for backup" Future Naruto said with a chuckle as future Gwen hugged him and kissed him
"ugh spare me" Tatsumaki said with a scoff as she floated towards the warehouse exit
"oh come on sis your the same with -" Naruto was saying before he ducked as a metal plate was thrown at him by the psychic

as Max ran over to where Naruto and Gwen had just disappeared to ask Kevin what had happened, a portal opened up and Naruto and Gwen stepped out of it
"OK so they aren't missing" Kevin said as he raised a eyebrow in confusion as the portal closed
"you kids testing out a new spell or something?" Max asked Naruto as Gwen pushed the button on the box her future self had given her
"sure you could say that" Naruto said with a chuckle as the box In Gwen's hands turned into a chocolate cake which Gwen put on the picnic table nearby
"happy birthday grandpa" Gwen said with a smile at her grandpa, glad that her future self had helped them out
Max smiled at this as he gave Gwen and Naruto a hug before he went to the RV to get. knife to cut the cake along with the other dishes
"so what exactly was that?" Kevin asked his friends as he knew there was more to this then Max thought
"Would you believe that was Gwen 20 years from now?" Naruto asked with a smile
"your kidding" Kevin said as he looked at Gwen for confirmation of this
"yea apparently she needed help saving this idiot, looks like I'm still keeping him in line years from now" Gwen said with a sigh as she sat down at the picnic table
"hey I'm not complaining if your watching my back I know everything will be perfect" Naruto said with a smile as he walked towards the rustbucket to help Max

before Crush could respond/ threaten the alien prisoner the alarms on the ship started to go off and a holographic image of Vilgax appeared in the room
"who is the one in charge of this pathetic ship?" Vilgax demanded as he glared at the
"That would be me, the main gal! what's your deal, squid face?" Crush demanded as she approached the image of vilgax
"A Czarnian? interesting, I heard that there was only one of you left, a bounty hunter I believe Vilgax said as his eyes focused on Crush
"that's my dad l, but I'm just as good if the price is right, but I'm not interested in taking any jobs not until I find the planet earth and track down my man!" Crush said as she slightly scowled as she thought about Kevin and how he had effectively ditched her
"oh? you wish to go to earth too? I just so happen to have a job that needs to be completed on that planet, and I'm willing to pay handsomely." Vilgax said as a plan formed in his head
