Cryptid Hunt

Danny soon arrived to Lake Eerie.

Gwen asked him here, saying she had to talk to him and it was too important to be done on the phone.

He landed near the lake, standing and waiting when he heard the engine of a vehicle. Turning his head, he saw an RV.

Is that the Rust Bucket? He thought.

It parked in front of him.

The door opened and he saw his pretty girlfriend, along with her cousin and their brooding friend.

"Hey, Gwen...guys..." Danny greeted.

"Hey..." Kevin went in his usual unfriendly tone.

Ben ribbed him for it, slightly wincing due to Kevin's current condition.

"Hi, Danny..." Gwen said, happy to see him.

"Best explain it to him, we gotta get going." Max, at the driver's seat, called out to them.

"Right…" Gwen said as she gestured for Danny to get in.

Nodding, he hovered in.

As Ben closed the door for him, he had a question on his mind.

"So... Lake Erie?" Ben asked. "I thought that it was near Detroit."

"No, this is Lake Eerie, with two E's at the beginning." Danny explained.

"Oh... well, I guess the extra E is to avoid getting sued." Ben joked.

Danny raised a brow at that, before turning to his girlfriend. There is a reason why they are here, so he decided to ask about it.

"So, what's the big emergency?" Danny asked as the Rust Bucket started moving.

"You see Danny, we need your help..." Gwen said.

"What happened? What's wrong?" Danny asked.

"It's like this-" Ben began to explain the situation.

"There's a monster thing spotted online and nobody knows what it is." Kevin cut him off, ignoring the glare from Ben.

"Are you serious?" Danny asked.

Ben nodded.

"Yeah..." Ben said.

After a moment, the ghost boy sighed, as he knew that he had to help them. He knew since they asked him directly, that this really is big, so he decided to agree.

"Okay, I'm in. So where is this monster seen, anyway?" Danny asked.

"Oregon..." Ben explained. "Haven't been there since our summer vacation 5 years go."

"You guys used to go around the country all Summer in this?" Danny asked.

"Actually, this is a new Rust Bucket 2. Last one was taken apart… had a lot of fond memories in that." Max said.

Danny noticed the sad look from Gwen but chose to change the subject.

"So, why's your grandpa coming along?" Danny asked.

"The creature seen doesn't match anything in the ALDB, the Alien Lifeform Database. This "cryptid" that people saw seems to have powers… ghostly powers." Gwen said.

"That's where you come in." Kevin added in a slightly annoyed tone.

Danny rose an eyebrow at that but ignored it.

"And… for Max?" Danny asked again.

"He has his reasons…" Ben added.

Danny decided not to ask about that but he still didn't get something.

"And… how do we get there… in this?" Danny pointed out what they're inside of.

"We're not. We're loaning a ship from an old friend to get there." Max said.

"A ship?" Danny questioned.

Meanwhile

While Danny was busy with Gwen, Jazz took Danielle to the mall for female bonding.

The two Fenton girls did things like shopping, arcade and even ice cream.

Danielle was really enjoying herself and so was Jazz.

"Thanks, Jazz..." Danielle said sweetly.

Jazz smiled at that.

"My pleasure." She said nicely to her cute little sort-of sister.

Jazz smiled again, finding her adorable.

"So… any idea when you might… y'know…?" Jazz said.

"No… it could be any day now… but, I'm sure Danny and Ben will find something for me." Danielle said.

I hope they find something to help her soon... Jazz thought, hoping for the best.

However, the red-haired girl soon saw something that made her stop. Danielle looked confused.

"Jazz, why did you stop?" She asked.

Her sister figure did not answer, she just looked mad now. Danielle then saw what caught her attention.

It was Tucker, who looked like he was having lunch with Sam.

Huh? Danielle thought.

Jazz, on the other hand, looked livid.

"What is he doing with her?!" Jazz asked, sounding angry.

Jazz started marching towards them, pulling Danielle along the way.

"This won't be pretty." Danielle muttered

The tech geek in question saw the redhead approach and realized what this is about.

"I'll be back." Tucker said as he got up and started walking towards Jazz, who Sam still did not see.

"Where are-" She saw Jazz. "Oh…"

She saw Tucker go to Jazz, no doubt to talk about why they're seen together.

They were far enough that Jazz didn't have to speak with Sam, but close enough to glare holes into the back of the goth girl's head.

"Tucker, have you forgotten what Sam did?!" Jazz exclaimed.

Tucker sighed.

"Look, I know what Sam did was wrong... really wrong, but I think she deserves a second chance..." He said to her.

"Excuse me?! You cannot be serious." Jazz said in anger.

Tucker sighed.

"Jazz, I know how you feel but like it or not, Sam and I have been friends since kindergarten and we have been through a lot. I know she made a horrible mistake but she regrets it. I know Sam and I know she regrets what happened. I can tell that she means it..." Tucker said.

Jazz did not look convinced.

"That doesn't exactly make up for what she did." The redhead said before turning to her little sister figure. "Let's go, Danielle..." She said as she tugged her arm and left.

Danielle looked over her shoulder and saw the look on Sam's face.

She saw the very guilty look on Sam's face.

While she didn't know her very well, Danielle knew that look on her face. It was one she had after leaving Amity Park the first time.

Jazz thinks what Sam did is unforgivable. Danielle, however, had other thoughts.

"Jazz, I think we should forgive her..." Danielle said.

That surprised Jazz and made her stop there.

"What?" Jazz questioned.

"You're forgetting, Sam's not the only one who hurt Danny in the past..." She explained.

The older girl realized what she meant but shook her head. She then frowned.

"That's different… you were tricked." Jazz pointed out.

"But I still made the choice…" Danielle responded.

It didn't change the fact that she had hurt Danny too and she regrets it ever since.

Jazz sighed.

"We'll talk to Danny about it." Jazz said.

Knowing that Jazz won't budge on this, Danielle nodded.

The two soon left to continue with their time together.

In the skies

Danny was jumping in his chair, grinning.

"I can't believe I'm on an actual alien spaceship!" Danny said, fidgeting with excitement.

Gwen smiled at how adorable he was acting while Kevin rolled his eyes.

"Newbie…" He muttered.

Grandpa Max then decided to try put the ship in autopilot as he got up.

Putting on a disguise, he then pretended in order to speak with the person who made the claim and took the photo.

"I'm going to need to wear an old suit of mine..." Max said to his grandkids and their guests before heading to the back.

"Suit?" Danny asked.

"Grandpa has to pretend he's with the FBI so that the person who made posted the image online will believe him." Gwen explained.

The ship landed somewhere in the woods, a clearing large enough to fit the ship.

It was a remote area too, so they don't have to worry about someone seeing them.

Max pressed the button on the keys, turning it invisible.

"Everyone, remember where we parked." He said.

''Sure Grandpa..." Ben said as they left.

After a few minutes of walking, they saw where it was they were going. It looked to be an RV, one that was familiar to Danny.

Is this who I think it is? He thought, confused as Max knocked on the door.

"Coming!" A teenage girl's voice called out.

"Wait… Grandpa, isn't this Nigel Thornberry's RV?" Gwen asked.

"Right. It's his daughter who sent the message. Her father thought it was a hoax, but we weren't convinced as I had this place scanned and ecto-readings were found." Max said.

"Debbie?" Danny asked. "Uh…"

He turned invisible, much to everyone's surprise.

"Huh?" Ben asked.

Soon, a blonde teenage girl came out, one that Danny knew.

It's Debbie Thornberry.

"Are you the Government guy who responded?" Debbie asked.

"I am." Max said.

"Perfect, about time. My mom and dad think it was a hoax, but I'm serious when I saw it." Debbie said.

"Right, can you tell me where the creature went?" Max asked.

"Right… uh, who are they, by the way?" Debbie asked, gesturing to the three she can see.

"My grandkids and their friend, I kind of promised they'd get to hang out at the nearby town of Gravity Falls…" Max said.

Gravity Falls? Danny thought.

As Debbie began explaining, Gwen hid behind Kevin and whispered.

"Danny? Do you know her?" She asked.

"Uh...she's a... past date..." Danny said awkwardly.

"Figures..." Gwen muttered under her breath.

Meanwhile, Debbie had finished speaking with Max.

"Thank you." He said.

"No, thank you." Debbie said, glad that someone responded to her.

"Let's go, everyone…" Max said.

As they were about to go, Gwen heard Debbie.

"I wish I was in Amity Park…" Debbie muttered

"Oh, you've been there?" Gwen asked.

"Yeah… I met this great guy on a blind date, Danny Fenton."

"I know him. Third date, he's my boyfriend now…" Gwen added.

That surprised the blonde girl before she got a good look at Gwen.

Debbie sighed.

"Figures, you're real pretty…" She muttered.

The two girls felt awkward and Danny remained silent until Debbie went back inside the RV.

"Door's closed, you can turn visible now." Kevin said.

"I'd rather wait until we're far enough…" Danny said.

''Whatever..." Kevin muttered, much to his annoyance.

Once they found the location of the creature's sighting, Max turned to face the teens.

"Okay… spread out. Find that thing or at least a hint of it." He ordered.

"Where will you go?" Ben asked.

"I gotta get something from the ship, so get in touch with me when you find it." Max said.

"Okay, Grandpa..." Ben and Gwen said.

Once Max walked away, the four were left with themselves.

"We should split up." Ben said.

"Okay, Danny and I will take this way." Gwen said, pointing away.

"That works." Ben said.

"Sure…" Kevin said in a grunt.

The two walked ahead as Kevin pouted while walking the opposite.

Ben just stood there, staring in disbelief.

"What just happened?"

Danny and Gwen were far enough that they could use their powers.

"Let's look for the monster, our way." Gwen said.

Danny morphed before hovering into the air.

"I'll check from a higher angle." He said.

"Be careful." Gwen said and he nodded.

That's when Danny stopped.

"Do you hear that?" Danny asked.

Gwen tried to listen in and heard something. They realize it was chopping wood.

"I hear it too…" Gwen said.

Danny got closer and tried to see what was causing all this noise. Once he saw what it was, his jaw dropped.

No way… Danny thought.

There, by a tree, he saw a familiar face.

It was Wendy, who finished her climb as she used the axe to chop off the branches. She then landed gracefully on the ground despite that it was an 8-foot drop.

Danny and Gwen were both surprised.

"What's that girl doing?" Gwen asked.

"Wendy…" Danny was heard muttering.

Gwen rolled her eyes as she knew where this was leading.

"Blind date, right?" Danny nodded and Gwen shook her head. "Again?"

''Hey, I didn't plan this..." Danny shrugged.

"Huh?" Wendy asked out loud.

Panicking, Danny turned invisible.

"What did you-"

"Sorry, Gwen. But she doesn't know I'm Danny Phantom either, best she not see me at all right now." He said.

That is when Wendy noticed and approached Gwen. Danny remained invisible.

"Sup." Wendy went.

"Uh… hi." Gwen went.

"My name is Wendy, Wendy Corduroy." Wendy said, wanting to be friendly.

Not wanting to be rude and figuring she must not draw attention, Gwen responded.

"I'm Gwen Tennyson, we're visiting from Bellwood..." She said.

The invisible Danny just watched, feeling awkward.

It's like the universe wants me to suffer for some reason…

Wendy looked interested by what she said.

"Bellwood, huh? What are you doing here?" Wendy asked.

"Uh… family trip." Gwen responded.

Wendy looked mildly intrigued.

"Cool. Closest I ever got to Bellwood was Amity Park." Wendy said.

"I know that place, my boyfriend is from there." Gwen said.

She regretted it, realizing Wendy might ask about it.

"Huh… is his name Danny Fenton?" She asked, curious about it.

Gwen blushed and nodded.

"Yeah… black hair, blue eyes, cute dimples?" Gwen asked.

"That's the guy." Wendy said.

''So, I guess you are the one he picked from the dating service?" Wendy asked.

"Yeah." Gwen nodded.

"I see…" Wendy said, crossing her arms and having a calm smile.

"I hope you're not upset about it." Gwen said.

"He's a cool dude, I'm glad he met someone." Wendy admitted.

Gwen smiled at that, glad that she is at least is nice.

"So, what are you doing out here?" Gwen asked.

"Day off from work, getting ready for the Lumberjack Games." Wendy answered.

''Lumberjack games?" Gwen asked.

"Yeah, they-"

"WENDY!" A burly man's voice shouted out.

Danny and Gwen were actually stunned by the sound as Wendy groaned.

"Ugh… it's my dad… I gotta get going." Wendy said in embarrassment.

"It's… okay…" Gwen said as she looked around. "Uh… where is he?"

"Back in town… he's… loud." Wendy admitted.

Danny and Gwen actually looked surprised by that, and Wendy had another embarrassed look on her face.

"I can tell he's embarrassing… wish I could help you, but I gotta get back to my cousin." Gwen said.

"Thanks… anyway, laters. Let Danny I know I said hi." Wendy said as she walked away.

"I will…" Gwen said, waving to her.

Once she was gone, a certain ghost boy groaned as he became visible.

"Why are we encountering girls I met?" Danny asked.

"No idea…" Gwen said.

Before Danny could speak up, his ghost sense went off.

"Uh oh…" Danny said.

Gwen saw the mist and got serious.

"Where's the ghost?" Gwen asks.

"It doesn't work like that, I can only detect when the ghost is in the area." Danny says.

Before Gwen could ask about that, someone called for their attention.

"Danny! Gwen!" Ben's voice called out to them.

They both hurried over in the direction of Ben calling to them.

After heading in that direction for a moment, they saw Ben and Kevin standing there.

"There's the ghost!" Kevin shouted as he pointed ahead.

Danny noticed the figure running through the trees. He noticed that, although a silhouette, it looked familiar.

Something tall and muscular.

"That kind of looks like-"

"Stop there!" A voice that Danny found familiar was heard.

He turned around and saw her.

Alex... He Thought.

She was there, in her spy catsuit, along with two of her friends.

A blonde girl in a red spy suit similar to Alex's, and a redhead in a green one.

The two other girls were surprised to see him.

"Oh my gosh... is that... Danny Phantom?!" Clover asked as her eyes turned into hearts.

"Wow... that's him..." Sam said, her face turning red.

Danny was surprised.

"Whoa... I never met her friends directly, I didn't think they were fans..." Danny said under his breath.

Gwen heard this and a had a bad thought.

"Okay... which was a past date? The redhead, the blonde or the girl with the tan?" She asked.

"The third one. She doesn't know I'm Danny Phantom, though." He said.

"Let's keep it that way." Gwen said.

''What are they doing here anyway?" Kevin asked.

"I think Grandpa Max mentioned something about an agency named WOOHP." Ben said.

"That does look like the kind of suits they'd wear." Kevin said with a smirk.

Gwen sent him an annoyed look for that.

Just then, Clover approached Danny, pressing her back into his chest, much to Gwen's irritation.

"Like, I guess there's no monster as far as I can tell..." Clover said, trying to hit on him.

"Uh... hi there… miss." Danny said awkwardly while Gwen crossed her arms in jealousy.

Kevin, who is still in disguise, shook his head while Ben is mildly annoyed.

How does he attract so many girls and not me? Other than Ami, that is... He thought, somewhat jealous.

Sam, while slightly crushing on Danny, cleared her throat.

"So, are you here for a sign of the creature?" She asked.

"Why are you looking for it?" Danny asks.

"We got word of a monster, with one person noticed odd claw marks and a weird energy pattern around here." Alex explained.

"We wanted to make sure it isn't some genetic monster made by the supposed crazy scientist said to live in the town of Gravity Falls." Sam added.

"So… are you here for the monster? We can discuss notes over a chai latte…" Clover said as she gave Danny bedroom eyes.

Danny pulled away from her, much to her surprise.

"Well, you see. My friends here and I have reason to think-"

"Excuse me…" Kevin said, pushing Danny aside. "Ladies… we got this covered. Go back to WOOHP… unless you want a ride in my car." He says with a grin.

Sam and Alex didn't seem so keen on that, but Clover, seeing how tall and buff Kevin is, immediately turned her attention to him, smiling almost as madly as she was with Danny.

"Two hotties in one day? Best mission ever!" Clover said.

"Clover! He knows about WOOHP! How is that possible?" Sam questioned.

"Relax, Sammy. This just means he knows where to find me…" Clover said.

Kevin grinned while Danny was just glad to get her attention off of him. Ben, on the other hand, felt annoyed that he was being ignored.

"It's like I don't exist…" Ben muttered with his arms crossed.

Danny chuckled at that. However, before he could say or do anything, Alex approached him, looking curious.

"Hey, I just realized you look weirdly familiar…" Alex said.

Danny flinched.

"Uh… really? Because I-"

Danny didn't have time to speak as a howl was heard.

"A wolf?" Alex asked.

"Wait… that sounds too large to be a normal wolf… we should check it out." Sam said.

"Oh… do we have to?" Clover whined, looking longingly as Kevin and Danny.

Danny looked uncomfortable while Kevin only shrugged.

"Sorry, we can't let you girls go." Gwen said, getting in their way.

The spies looked to each other.

"Look, we're here on this mission for a reason… step aside." Sam said.

Gwen sent her an annoyed frown. Normally, she'd find a more peaceful solution but this is important.

"Sorry about this but…" Gwen rose a hand and created a wall to block the girls.

"WHAT?!" Sam and Clover went.

"Cool…" Alex said, earning glares from her friends.

''ALEX!" They yelled.

"Sorry..." She said sheepishly.

While Danny, Gwen and the rest made a break for it, Ben turned to the spies.

"Sorry, ladies..." He said before pressing the watch.

He then turned into Spidermonkey, much to the girls' shock.

"What the heck?!" Sam exclaimed.

"Spidermonkey!" Spidermonkey said before sending webbing at them once Gwen's construct disappeared.

"Whoa!" Alex shouted.

The girls were too late as they were hit with the webs, sticking them to the trees.

"EW! It's in my hair!" Clover shouted.

''YUCK!" Alex yelled.

"I think I can pull out the laser lipstick!" Sam shouted.

Spidermonkey heard this and scoffed.

"Laser lipstick? Pfft… and they say a watch that turns the wearer into aliens is weird." Spidermonkey says.

As he dealt with them, Gwen, Danny and Kevin went to the source of the howl.

"Hopefully, Ben can distract the girls long enough. He can ask Grandpa Max for help in getting in touch with their boss…" Gwen said.

"So, let's find this "cryptid" that people are talking about." Kevin said.

The others nodded and hurried but they were too late as the "cryptid" was chased into the trees by another trio.

Some who were familiar to Danny and Gwen.

"Darn it! It got away!" Martin went.

"That's what happens when you're impatient…" Diana scolded him.

"Oh no…" Gwen muttered.

"What?" Danny and Kevin asked.

That's when the trio noticed each other.

"Who that?" Java asked.

"Gwen? Gwen Tennyson?!" Martin asked excitedly.

Gwen cringed and looked annoyed.

"My least favorite date…" She muttered.

"Is that… that Danny Phantom guy?" Diana asked.

Danny looked to see a familiar female and cringed too.

"I... hate to mention this now but-"

"Diana is a past date too, right?" Gwen asked, exasperated.

"Well... yes."

Gwen rolled her eyes at that.

''Seriously, again? I'm surprised Alex's two friends back there didn't go out with you too." Gwen said sarcastically.

Danny sent a sheepish look before going back to problem in hand.

Martin took a moment to recognize who was with Gwen and grinned.

"Danny Phantom?!" He asked, rushing towards him. "Hey there, Martin Mystery! Big fan… you here for the creature sighted?"

"Yes…" Danny answered.

"I knew it!" Martin went eagerly.

"And… why are you guys here?" Danny asked awkwardly.

"I'm a paranormal investigator. I bet whoever you picked as your match isn't as cool as me…" Martin said to Gwen.

"You'd be surprised…" Gwen said.

"I am very sorry…" Diana said to her.

"So… you here for the monster?" Kevin asked.

"We are." Martin says.

"Really?" Danny asked.

Diana, not recognizing him as her past date, answered.

"At first, I thought it was a guy in a bad costume. The green jacket kind of hinted at it, but I guess monsters have bad fashion sense…" Diana said.

Danny heard that one part.

"Green jacket?" He asked under his breath.

He started to realize who this monster was.

Is that... He thought before his eyes widen with realization.

Just then, the monster appeared from the trees.

However, this "monster" did not attack and it's one that Danny recognizes.

"Wulf?" Danny said, surprised.

"You know him?" Gwen asked.

"He's a friend..." Danny said.

"You got weird friends..." Kevin pointed out.

Once the howl went off, Danny looked to Gwen and Kevin.

"We need to distract those three…" Danny said.

"I got this…" Kevin said.

He then went to the trio of paranormal investigators and took his ID mask off, much to their surprise.

"What in the world?!" Diana asked.

"Cool…" Martin said.

"Let's hope he doesn't go too far… or worse, hit on Diana and distract her too long." Gwen said.

"Yeah… after the blonde, I'm sure he'll do that." Danny said.

"I'm gonna ask you not to go any further... especially you." Kevin said to Diana with a grin and wink.

"I don't believe this… you're actually still handsome despite looking like a mismatched statue…" Diana admitted, both terrified and in awe.

"Thanks… I guess." Kevin said. "Still…" His hands turned into hammers. "Unless you wanna fight, I suggest you back off!"

While Kevin distracted them, Danny and Gwen went to go find Wulf.

Once they were far enough, they saw him.

"Wulf!" Danny called out.

Wulf stopped in his tracks and turned around.

"Amiko?" Wulf asked.

"It's me." Danny said.

Wulf then rushed to Danny and hugged him off the ground.

"Dankegon! Mi sukcesis foriri de Walker post kiam li denove ĉasis min. Mi tute ne sciis, kie sur la Tero mi alvenis." Wulf said.

"Walker's at it again, huh?" Danny asked.

"Who is Walker?" Gwen asked.

"A control freak warden in the Ghost Zone…" Danny explained as Wulf let him go and approached Gwen.

Wulf sniffs Gwen.

"Kiu ŝi estas?" Wulf asks.

"Oh, she's-"

"I'm his girlfriend." Gwen answered, much to Danny's surprise. Gwen shrugged. "I might have learned Esperanto as a hobby in Freshman year."

Danny smiled.

"Why did I not meet you sooner?" He asked.

Gwen chuckled at that.

"We should get him to Grandpa Max..." She said.

Danny nodded before turning to his friend.

"Ni povas fidi ŝin kaj ŝian avon. Venu kun ni, mio amiko..." Danny said in Esperanto, impressing Gwen.

"You got the pronunciation right too." Gwen said.

The Ship

They had brought Wulf to the ship and after giving Max a quick explanation, the veteran Plumber nodded.

"I see. So this Walker is a rule fanatic..." Max said.

Danny nodded.

"Yeah, Wulf's not a bad ghost, so I'm hoping we can keep him safe for now..." Danny said.

"Grandpa, since he's a friend of Danny's, we should help him." Gwen said and Max nodded.

"Well, I can't see why not. We can take Wulf someplace away from prying eyes for now..." The old man said.

"That's a relief…" Danny says.

"I'm impressed, kid. I think you definitely have what it takes to be a Plumber..."

Danny stopped in his tracks.

"Huh?"

"Why do you think I'm here? I've been monitoring your actions... you thought fast and handle the situation pretty well."

"But, Grandpa? That ghost was a friend of his." Gwen pointed out.

"Even so, we could use a Plumber to keep an eye on the Ghost Zone..." Max admitted.

The ghost kid raised a brow at that.

"Wait, so this was a test?" Danny asked.

"More like an entrance exam, one of many..." Max explained.

"Really? So… when is the next exam?" Danny asked, somewhat eager since it means he and Gwen would work together.

"You'll find out when you least expect it..."Max said.

"I get to be a space cop? Coo!" Danny went with a smile.

"So… where are Ben and Kevin?" Gwen asked after noticing how quiet it is.

"Oh… right… I should get in touch with them. But first, I better get in touch with WOOHP and The Center…" Max said.

"Whoa, you have access to those groups?" Danny asks.

"Pays to be in the business for a long time." Max says as he started typing.

On the monitors, two faces appeared. One is Jerry, the other is MOM.

With Wulf gone and no more sign of any "cryptids" around here, the spies were forced to give up.

"Sorry, Jerry... whatever that thing was, it's gone. Danny Phantom probably took care of it." Sam explained.

"Danny Phantom? Out there?" Jerry asked. He pondered. "Bad enough that Kim Possible beat us to the rescue of that ambassador, now other heroes not from Deeceecom or Marvelcom are overshadowing us?"

Clover, meanwhile, was pouting.

"I can't believe such a cute super guy was here and I didn't get a selfie!" She whined.

"I know what you mean..." Sam said.

Alex shrugged.

"He's cute... but I knew an even cuter Danny..." Alex said.

Before her friends could comment, Jerry spoke up.

"Spies, I just managed to get in contact with The Plumbers."

"Your sink is clogged?" Alex asked while the other two looked confused.

"No... The Plumbers are a sort of police force meant to deal with extraterrestrial threats and other strange anomalies." Jerry explained. "They say that they will be handling the situation now."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the forest.

Another team of agents were informed that they were no longer needed.

Only one of them was a bit down.

It was Martin.

"Darn it, I really wanted to speak with Danny Phantom..."He said, since he was a fan.

His stepsister, however, was deep in thought as she recalled the ghost boy.

Weird...why does he seem...familiar? She thought.

Before she could ponder on it, she and Martin heard a grumbling sound coming from Java.

"Java hungry..." The caveman said, clutching his stomach.

Martin sent him an equally hungry look.

"Yeah, I guess we can grab a bite. I think I saw a diner in the town around here." The paranormal investigator said.

Diana sighed in annoyance but since they are no longer needed, she left with them to go get a bite.

All the while, she still wondered of that strange ghost boy.
