Britney was at Rachel's house three days before New Year's for a pre-New Year's Eve party. The place was decorated with balloons and streamers. Rachel had just finished singing. It was close to midnight and even though it was not New Year's Eve Britney started counting out loud "nine, eight, seven."
Santana walked towards her and gave her a hug.
Britney said, "I was counting, I lost track."
Santana was just about to tell her that it was not New Year's Eve.
Instead, Santana said"" six, "five, four,3, two, one,"
They kissed.
Britney said, "happy pre-new year."
Santana just smiled and kissed Britney again.
Lauren took out her cell phone and took a picture of Britney and Santana kissing. She had been surprised she had been invited to the party ; she was not surprised nobody was talking to her. She looked around for Puck. She wondered if showing him the picture she just taken would make Puck jealous or if he would not care. Then she noticed she had a notification about Jacob Ben Israel's blog. She read it, she could not believe it, she had been out scooped. The blog straight out said that Sam is bisexual and was texting and flirting with Kurt Hummel. It also said Sam Evans was not the only football player who had a crush on Kurt. Somebody else did as well and no it was not Finn Hudson. Israel's said nothing about the identity of the other football player other than that he was not a member of the new directions like you might think. She guessed that probably means she could write whatever she wanted about Sam now. It just would not get the kind of reaction she was hoping for.
