The bank robbers were all hauled away to prison for their crime. At home, Lori was feeling a little... comatosed with slight trauma after burning the face of the lead bank robber who was going to kill her little brother. Sure, Lori was glad Lincoln was safe and sound, and that she saved his backside from being dead, but she never meant to do that to the lead robber, and possibly leave him blind with the wave of fire she gave him on the head. The teen girl did get a good look of the leader's face as his face was being burnt like that. She did remember seeing all his hair burn off until he was as bald as an egg, and how he was groveling in pain and agony as he was quivering on the ground.

Despite the day being saved by her, her brother, and Void, she had guilt from that little stunt she pulled.

Lincoln noticed her laying on the couch, staring at the ceiling with a sigh. Feeling concerned for his big sister's well-being, the white-haired boy went downstairs to check on her, looking his head over hers. "Are you ok, Lori?"

"Gah!" Lori clumsily got off the couch with a fright. Getting back up the ground and placing her left hand on the top of her head. "Lincoln! You literally scared me!"

"Sorry." said Lincoln. "You look down in the dumps right now and i want to know if you're alright. That's all." Then je made a gasp. "Wait, did Bobby break up with you?"

"What? No." Lori nodded her head sideways in a rapid manner like she was having a seizure. "Bobby Boo-Boo Bear would never break up with me. I'm literally too perfect for him to go do that. If he did, you would know. Me wearing my favorite sweater, couping myself in my bedroom,"

"Right. Good point." Lincoln realized. "So what's the problem?"

"Well i'm... worried that I might have killed the bak robber that almost killed you, Lincoln." She amditted at last with her eyes closed.

"Come on, Lori." Said Lincoln, "it was either me or him."

"But, I didn't want to fry his face like that. But... he made me."

"i'm sure you didn't." Lincoln brushed off. "You didn't use your fire long enough to kill him. "From what i read, the actress who played the Witch in the Wizard of Oz suffered bad burns in a scene, and later showed how she didn't look really affected by any scars or burns."

"Really?"

"Yeah i saw a video of what happened to her during when she first appeared to the munchkins."

"Well i think i did burn his hair own." Lori. "Didn't you see the ambulance picking that guy up."

"Yeah but i still feel guilty. And... i never wanna kill someone."

Lincoln frowned and said: "look, you did what you had to do, save me from being killed."

"I know Lincoln." His sister sighed. "Yeah I'm literally glad you're ok." She then held him close to her. "Nut i still feel guilty about burning him like that."

"Don't be, Lori." Said Lincoln. "What matters is that you saved me before he could kill me." Then he gave her a gentle pat on the back a few times. "You stopped them from robbing the whole bank and the gold bars and money are safe."

"yeah. That's true." Lori smiled.

"And at least we now know who sent those mercenaries and got Snow Flaker out of jail."

"Once again, literally true, Lincoln."

"Aye." Said Void, who was coming in the room with Farley walking next to him and wagging his tail. "Though the question remains: why did he even do this in the first place. I've read the few scandals he did in the past before, but what does his have against us?"

"we'll have to ask him ourselves." Lori sounded serious now. "If a billionaire orderee those men to kill us, then he has to have a reason."

"the police are already interrogating him and putting him in prison."

"i heard about that, Lincoln." said Lori. "He just literally lost his own fortune. Barrymore has nothing left now and no one will trust him ever again"

"That's my problem with millionaires." sais Void as he and Farley sat next to Lori. "All the money they make corrupts their own minds and to becoming people that only care about themselves." He then rolled his eyes in disdain for the upper class people on the pyramid. "Money can buy countless things, eh? Including power."

"Right?" Lincoln agreed. "Just look at some of the rich scumbags that populate our own planet."

Lori laughed with him. "Agreed. These people meed to focus more on bettering society instead of indulging all the money for themselves. That can literally do better good for the whole world."

"Well, we should question that Barrymore and see what his deal is." Said Void. His Bernese made a small bark of excitement after his master was done talking. "Ah Farley, you always know how to brighten everyone's day." Then he gave his large canine a few pats on his furry head, which he clearly loved receiving.

Another day had passed since the bank robery was foiled by the three heroes. After another successful session of training, the three kids decided to go pay a visit to Christopher Barrymore himself in the Royal Woods state penitentiary to confront him about these actions that he had caused recently to the heroes a while back.

Being escorted by four prison guards for their own safety, they met the former billionaire behind the glass in the phonecall booth in the visitor section of the prison, and the man was pouting after losing everything to the law. His assets, his credibility, his fortune, everything.

Sitting in the chair, Lori picked up the phone sk he can talk to the dastardly man. "Ok, Christopher Barrymore, I presume?" She asked him

"Correct." He smiled to her. "Tell me, Volcano Girl, what brings you and your superhero posse here to see me?"

"You know why." Lori narrowed her eyes at him. "Why i want to know is: why did you recruit Snow Flaker and Solar Flare to cause so much grief to me and my friends? What did we do to you?"

"It's not ahat you have done, my naive girl." Said Christopher, "it's what you will do to me in the future one day."

"I don't understand."

"What i mean is; you superheroes are slowly becoming popular. And sooner or later, you all will get in the way of my plans to make the world a better place. A world without any wars, conflicts, people fighting one another over the silliest of reasons."

"What does it have to do with us?" asked Lori

"Let me put it this way, Volcano Girl." said Barrymore. "Did they teach you about the Salem Witch Trials in your school?"

"I think they did. But what does that have to do with anything?"

"It's a very common thing for human beings to fear the unknown, or anything out of the norm. It leads people to mostly resort to fear, panic, and violence. Everyone loves you now, but one day, they might hate you for being mutants. In my world, there is no place for superheroes."

"Come on, I doubt everyone hates us."

"Sure, they love you three now, but one day they will treat you all like the world's most hated criminals. The reason why i did this was because so you would not get in the way of me creating a perfect world for everyone without any mutant interference."
