When Ava awoke it was to the Bounty landing, she felt a bit dizzy from the water but was able to head up and see the shenanigans.
She faced palms, 'These are the heroes of Ninjago?' though she guess she was happy to see that even they were normal people.
She came up as Nya seemed to start up a meeting, Zane nodded to her as she smiled at him.
Seems like they were going to interrogate someone.
"Are you sure you're up for this?" Lloyd asked before they left.
"Yeah I'm rested and ready to go." Ava replied as they left.
First thing they did was come to some tea shop, she was weary when Cole mentioned magical tea and why they needed it.
As they entered they saw an elderly lady organizing the store.
"Is Mystake here?" Lloyd asked.
"Never heard of her!" the lady yelled then turned and said with a head bow "Oooh! Apologies, young Lloyd Garmadon. I didn't recognize your voice."
Ava mentally chuckled, she still remembered the day it dropped.
They exchanged pleasantries and found what they needed, the tea of truth.
'So, basically a truth serum?' she thought.
Lloyd and Jay decided to stay while Zane, Cole and Ava headed off to the police station.
Once at the station Zane made the tea and whispered to them "This cup contains the tea of truth, this other one if for you." he looked at Cole.
"Hah! Nothing like good old fashion detective work." Cole smirks.
"I have to say I'm excited, I always wanted to do one of these." Ava smiled.
"It is interesting, will we be utilizing the good cop bad cop routine?" Zane asked.
"Nah, the tea will do the work for us." Cole replied.
Someone then tried to escape but Zane stopped him by making him slip on ice but he also made Cole switch the mugs!
"Oh no, which ones which!" Ava panicked.
"It's fine I got it, aha I didn't even spill a drop!"
"Are you ready?" Zane asked.
"Uh, of course. Heh." then looked down at the tea, Ava whispering to Zane about the mix up.
"Cole…" he started.
"It's fine!" he yelled, switching them.
Ava groaned "Can you do a scan?"
Zane sighed as he shook his head, unfortunately mystical tea was not something his sensors could detect easily.
So they headed in and hoped for the best.
Zane decided to start with some intimidation, by getting the room cold.
"Who turned off the heat?" they heard the guy say as they entered.
"Ninja, hmp. What do you three want? Wait….never seen you before."
"Not really your problem at the moment." Ava frowns.
"Luke Cunninghame." Zane started.
"Otherwise known as the man in white mask." Cole added.
"Looks gray actually." they looked at her but she shrugged, she couldn't help it, facts were facts.
"We would like some information regarding who you work for, Luke." Zane started up again.
"Well, I'd like a pepperoni pizza, some chocolate ice cream, and a date with cuteness there, but it aint gonna happen."
"You bet it won't." Ava galred, Zane felt himself grow colder at that for some reason.
"We don't have that, but we do have a cup of hot tea that could warm you up." Cole smiled.
"I aint thirsty."
Cole starts sipping and Ava thought 'Oh no, please don't let that be the wrong tea.'
"Mm-mm, it really warms me up." Cole smiles. "Sometimes a cup of hot tea just hits the spot. Mm."
"Like I said, I ain't talking." Luke replied.
"Drink it!" Cole banged the desk.
"No!" Luke replied.
"Oh don't you get it, if you don't drink the tea of truth we won't get answers. Oh…"
"I knew we should have checked it." Ava groans.
"You trying to trick me." Luke asks.
"Cole, I think you drank the wrong cup." Zane says.
"I see that now. But in full disclosure, I'm trying my best to look like I didn't." Cole replied.
"Zane, get him out." Ava said, they needed to act fast.
"No, I can do this." Cole started off with Luke but "Aw, it's not working is it?"
"Ha! So you can't lie, huh? Oh! Ooh! You pee in the swimming pool?"
Ava covered his mouth "Zane, get him out of here! Ew!" Ava jumped off, Cole's need to talk had covered her hands in spit.
And Luke had the time to ask other questions, like where the princess was and Cole blurted it all out.
"You're giving away all our secrets!" Zane exclaimed.
"I can't lie!"
Luke then asks about Lloyd's powers and Ava jumps on his back and shoves his head on the desks.
"Sorry Cole."
The earth ninja rambles on until he jumps up, throwing her off, "Wough!" she yelled as Zane dropped the cub to catch her.
"Ugh Zane, knock me out, do something."
"I'll knock you out!" Ava was ready to hit him with her power as Luke laughed and said "Wait till the gang at Laughy's hears about this."
Zane then asked, "Laughy's? You mean the karaoke club on the south side?"
Luke stopped laughing when he realized what he'd said.
"Ha ha! Who's the sucker now?" Cole asked. "Good thing I didn't tell him about my fear of singing!"
At that Ava had enough and finally shoved him out with her powers.
As they left Luke called "Hey come visit me sometime cuteness, I'm sure there's plenty for us to talk about."
Ava glared at the man but just wanted to get Cole out of there, Zane though was not pleased with Luke's comments and froze the floor up till his seat where he was now stuck to the chair "Hey, hey get me out of here, hey!"
Ninjago
After leaving the police station they told Nya they were following a lead, on the way Ava made Cole drink plenty of water and do lots of exercise to get the tea out of his system.
Once that was over they headed to Laughy's.
"Our informant's intel has paid off. Two high ranking Sons of Garmadon just arrived. The one they call Ultra Violet, and the mysterious man with the swords. " Zane said behind a newspaper.
"Good. Then we're one step closer to finding out who's in charge."
Cole comes out of the garbage in his disguise, Zane looked over confused "Huh?"
"It's me, Zane, Cole. Or should I say my alias. Rocky Dangerbuff."
Zane just looked on still confused as Cole posed.
"Um Cole, I'm not sure how legit that name sounds." Ava came up out of nowhere.
She was wearing a teal tank top, leather jacket crop top, dark skinny jeans and high leather combat boots.
Finally her hair was in a messy ponytail and she had on some makeup, black lipstick and teal eyeshadow.
"Wough, nice job Ava, where'd you scrounged that up?" Cole asked.
"There's a clothes shop a few blocks away, and I had some extra cash on me."
"Oh um…anyway, what should I call you?" Cole asked.
"I haven't thought of a name yet." Ava replied.
"Why do we need disguises?" Zane asks, slightly unable to stare away from Ava.
"If we wanna infiltrate their gang to gain their trust, they can't know we're Ninja. Wait, how did you know about my idea?" Cole raised a brow at Ava.
"You told me about it while still hyped on truth tea, but you were busy jogging so you probably didn't notice me listening." Ava replied.
Cole flushed as he replied "Oh. Anyway Zane I even scrounged up a disguise for you!"
"A tin trash lid and a can of shaving cream?" Zane asked.
"Um, how is that a disguise?" Ava raised a brow.
"Don't forget you have to sell it." Cole added.
Ava groaned, there was no way that would work.
"Hm. that won't be necessary…." Zane activated his holoform and Ava had to look away fast, her face flushing red. 'That look is dangerous. Who knew he could pull off the bad boy look.'
"But you still need a cover, both of you." Cole pointed. "Something tough, something that says, 'I'm bad.'"
"In my estimation, Rocky Dangerbuff is pretty bad." Zane replied.
Ava busted out, oh man Zane cracked her up. And she knew for sure he meant it this time.
Cole frowned and then said "Ugh, do I have to do everything?"
He pointed at Zane and said "Fine you're Snake Jaguar."
"Wow, that's actually really bad in a good way?" Ava looked on.
"Snake Jaguar, hm….You were always much better at this than I was." Zane replied.
"Okay and you're gonna be…" he pointed to Ava but….
"I think I'll go with Rave, you know, like a wild party." she shrugs.
"That works quite well." Zane nods.
"Yeah not bad, now are you two ready?" Cole asked.
"It's basically like improv acting, we should be able to handle that." Ava smirks.
"Improve, I have heard of this method. It will be useful." Zane nods.
"Then let's go!" Cole started walking all tough to the club as Zane followed, Ava had to hold her laugh back at this but just decided to get into character.
Inside there it looked like a normal bar, it had a pool table, karaoke, and even a bar, except it had a bunch of SOG bikers inside.
As they came to the bar they found a biker threatening the barkeeper.
"Darreth? What are you doing here?" Zane whispered.
"Who's Darreth?" Ava asked.
"An old friend." Zane replied.
"Cole? Cole! You came to visit me!" the man exclaimed.
Ava shushed him, and he froze.
"She's on our side, and was my disguise so much worse than Zane?" Cole asks.
"Zane, is that you under there?" Darreth asked "You guys gotta help me. I bought this stink hole, hoping to hold on to the glory days when I was fighting side by side with you guys?"
"Side by side….Really?" Cole asked.
"Is he delusional?" Ava whispered to Zane.
"Slightly." he whispered back.
"Only now the Sons of Garmadon have moved in and made my place their dive. I can't get them to leave! You gotta help me!" Darreth begged.
She felt bad for him, 'Man what do we do, we need this place?'
"We can't. We need to keep our cover to get close to those two." Cole pointed to Ultra Violet and Mr. E
"You mena Mr. E and Ultra violet?" Darreth asked.
"Mr.E?" both guys asked.
"Wonder what it stands for?" Ava raised a brow.
"Nobody talks to those two, because he doesn't talk and she's off her rocker." Darreth explained.
"How are we supposed to gain their trust…?" Cole asks.
"Ugh! I said, "Where's my boba?" the thug called.
"Sorry, can't help. Gotta go." Darreth ran off.
"Maybe if we assert our dominance we can get some attention." Ava raised a brow, thinking of going over to the jerk and walloping into him.
"Let's try something more strategic. Okay Snake Jaguar, fire up those processors and tell me how we do this?" Cole askes.
"I've already ran countless simulations, and out of the 1,532 ways this could go, there's only one?" Zane replies.
"Really?" Ava raised a brow, surprised.
"But it's complicated…and dangerous." Zane added.
"Then it's a good thing my last name is Dangerbuff. Lay it on me." Cole took a sip of boba.
"You have to sing." Zane replied, making Cole do a spit take.
"You know he can't sing in public, that's what he said." Ava reminds.
"She's right, there has to be another way." Cole replied.
"I'll sing." Ava replied casually.
"What, but it is dangerous." Zane looked worried.
"Yeah you saw how they threw those other guys out?" Cole reminds.
"Just trust me, I think I have the crowd figured out." Ava smirked as she headed off.
They looked at each other with uncertainty but just waited.
As Ava took the stage most of the crowd glared at her while a few smirked.
Ava took a breath and then stomped her foot before sitting.

Zane and Cole's jaws dropped, Ava may not be professional but she could still sing.
Everyone seemed to look over curiously at this.

She walked across the stage and then began to pretend to fist fight and then pumped them in the air.
The crowd reacted to this, jumping up and down as they also fist bumped the air.
"Should she be saying that?" Zane asked, worried a fight might actually start, even though it was in his original plan.
"Don't know but it's working." Cole pointed to UV and Mr.E looking over at the show.
'This might just work.' Zane blinked.
"So, so what?

Ava jumped up and down and even banged her head to the song, the SOG members reacting.
Zane could see why, these people were angry and loud and Ava was giving them what they wanted.
'She is speaking their language.' his eyes widened.
Then he noticed it, UV was whispering to someone and pointing to Ava.
His eyes widened 'Did they figure her out?'
"Rocky…" Zane pointed to what he saw and Cole nodded, they needed to keep their eyes open.
"So, so what?

"Hey baby, what about me? You could have me!"
One biker went on stage and tried to kiss Ava but she punched him, making him fall off the stage.
Everyone was in shock at first then they cheered.
"You weren't there
You never were

Mr. E tilted his head at this, he seemed to be pondering the song some.
"So, so what?

Ava kept jumping and shouting, her emotions filling the crowd as they did the same.
"Na-na-na-na-Na! Wough!"
Ava ended the song and the crowd cheered, then an SOG member came up and whispered to her.
Zane and Cole stood ready but she just smirked at them and then followed the member.
Both of them looked on, surprised as she was led up to the balcony where UV and Mr.E resided.
"I can't believe it, she did it." Cole's mouth dropped.
"See Cole, if Ava can confront the stage to get entrance then you can be brave enough to follow my plan."
"You know what, you're right." Coel finished his drink and headed to the stage, they took a bit though as the SOG members were still riled up.
Ninjago
Ava was brought up to the second floor where the lead members were hanging out.
"Have to say I like your style, kid." UV smirked.
"I have to say the same, your work precedes you." Ava smirked wildly.
"Complements get you nowhere." Violet chuckled.
Ava laughed along and said "I can understand, you need more than just someone who can give a good time around here."
"Now we're talking, so what do they call you kid."
"Rave." she smirked.
Violet laughed, "Oh I can see why."
"What's life without a little fun?"
"Oh, what kind of fun?" Violet asked.
"A little mayhem here and there, but what do I know, you're the experts right."
Violet chuckles "At least she knows her place. Come here a second, you've never been here before, why come now?"
"We all have our stories, why should you know mine."
"Because I'll make you!" Violet growled with her weapon out.
"Huff, fine take the fun out of it. I got tired of everyone disrespecting me, pushing me around and thinking I was easy to get to. Being the goody two shoes, well let's just say one day I finally snapped and now I'm here to show everyone what happens when you mess with Rave!" Ava pants.
Violet seemed to examine her and put her weapon away and said "Hmmm, Mr.E what do you think?" she smirked.
E looked over at Ava, he scanned her vitals and they were elevated from anger. Also he remembers the song, the feeling of abandonment.
'Society abandoned her and now she wants to get back at it.'
E looked at Violet and nodded, at which Violet smirked and was about to say something when….
"Shine little glow worm. Glimmer, glimmer. Hey there don't get dimmer, dimmer."
'What is he thinking! Is this part of Zane's plan or something?' Ava made a face of confusion.
Everyone began to laugh as Violet tried to keep the song out and E just looked on.
The crowd got angry and began to throw stuff at him.
'Not good, but I can't break my cover, so close…'
That's when Cole slipped and his disguise came off.
"Hey! He's one of those Ninja!" a biker called.
'Busted.' Ava internally groaned.
"Grab him!" ordered Violet.
That's when they attacked Cole.
"Help me, Zane! Where are you? Aah! Ugh…."
'Zane!' Ava's eyes widened as he saw he was the one to knock Cole out.
"Find this Zane and grab him too!" Zane called as the other ran and shouted.
'This was his plan! You could have told us…' Ava would talk to him later, right now they had to stick to the plan.
E and Violet grabbed Cole as Violet said "Rave, come with us!" Violet called.
Ava nodded and followed, hopefully Cole would be safe.
Back on the Bounty….
"Why aren't they helping him?" Jay asks.
"Ava's gotten into the inner circle, she can't blow her cover." Lloyd sighs.
Pixal then said "Zane has blocked all communication. And Ava has not received a com device yet."
"This is our only lead. We may never get a second chance." Nya tells them.
The Ninja argued for a while before leaving.
Ninjago
As Ava followed Violet who was holding Cole, outside someone called "The Ninja's got backup! Get the bosses out of here!"
'Is this part of the plan?' Ava thought, getting a bit disoriented.
"We gotta split!" Violet said as she dumped Cole on the back of her bike and said "You with me!" Violet shouted at Ava as she hopped on.
She held onto what she could as the bike flew off, using her powers as gently as he could she was able to use the wind to keep her balanced.
'Oh man, what did I get myself into?' she was starting to panic.
That was till she saw Zane riding along with Mr.E.
'I won't be by myself.' she internally sighed.
"You're bringin him to The Big Man?" Violet asked E.
'Big man, their boss or just another high rank?' Ava thought.
It seemd E was saying yes with a nod and Zane looked at Ava and nodded as if saying 'We're in this together.'
That made her feel much better.
With that they rode off into the unknown.
