When she felt the Bounty moving Ava wondered if the others had won, but hearing the laughter of the enemy, she knew it was a failure.
'Are the others okay, what do I do? I have to help but I can't leave Wu.'
She looked down at the little Sensei who was taking a nap.
Ava would just have to think of something, and fast.
Ninjago
Back on the bridge as the SOG where celebrating having the Ninja tied up Jay whispered "What now?"
"We wait for a chance to escape." Kai frowns.
"At least Ava and Wu are safe." Cole sighed.
"Hey, where's that other ninja and the baby, we know you took them." Violet headed over with glare.
"None of your business." Cole glares.
"We'll just search the ship then, go find em!" Violet ordered as a few SOG members headed off.
"If you hurt one hair on his head…" Cole growled and Zane glared.
'Is Ava ready for such a fight.' he thought.
Ninjago
As Ava tried to come up with a plan, she heard footsteps.
'Drat, they're searching for us.' She looked at the sleeping baby and carried him in one arm.
Wu woke up and looked up confused as Ava took a battle stance.
Waiting was torture, she wondered if they would find her at all, but then the door began to open and it this she shot her powers at the biker, making him fall on his back.
Ava took the chance to run out of the closet and down the hall.
'Where to next?'
As she ran she saw another biking commign at her and she kicked him to the wall. Wu giggled at this as Ava then ran into the kitchen.
There, she found two bikers rummaging through the fridge.
"Get them!" one said as Ava jumped over them and then enveloped her fist in wind as she punched the two out.
"Hopefully that was the last of them." Ava sighs.
"What's taking so long!" Violet shouted.
"Forget it, we have our orders." Kilo yelled.
The ship suddenly stopped and she heard several people heading out.
'Did they find the mask.' Ava frowned.
She began to sneak towards the bridge, she needed to know what was happening.
'What about wu?' she looked down, she needed to protect him but if they failed there wasn't gonna be much of a safe place for anyone.
So she sighed as she held the little one close and said "Let's play ninja."
"Ninja." giggled Wu as she smirked.
Then they snuck off, going up she could see that several people were gone.
Only Ultra Violet, a thug, and the Ninja were on board.
'Vengestone, they're stuck.' she glared.
That's when Kilo called for Ultra Voilet, "What over them for me, will you. And if you see that ninja, call me. I wanna deal with her personally." she chuckled as she left.
'Great I have an arch enemy.' Ava internally groaned.
Once Violet was far enough away, she snuck out of her hiding spot.
The other looked happy to see th;em but she shushed them, Wu mimicking her as she snuck up behind the biker and knocked him out.
Wu giggled at this as she put him down and said "Okay how do I get those off."
"The keys are on the table." Nya smiled.
Wu then came over shaking them as Ava took them saying "Thanks kid Wu."
"Kid Wu?" Cole raised a brow.
"It'd feel too weird to call him Sensei at this age." Ava replied as she unchained them.
"She's got a point." Jay shrugs.
Ninjago
As the SOG where commit out of the caverns Kai held her sword to Harumi and said "Not so fast."
But a gang member drew a blade at him.
"Hey there's a kid present." Cole said as he walked up, wu giggling.
They stood their ground against the SOG members in front of them.
"Ha, ha. Looks like we have the upper…." Jay started but then more SOG members cornered them from behind.
"I thought I knocked most of you idiots out already." Ava glared.
Ultra violet came out at that nd said "Missed me Rave?"
"Like a rash." Ava smirked, making UV growl.
And finally E, who seemed to be glaring daggers at Zane and her.
"Oh, come on. Zane, I thought you said we had them outnumbered." Jay groaned.
"Uh….that was before I knew how many of them there were." Zane replied.
They all stood tensely for a while, till Wu giggled.
"Oh, ho ho. Oh now isn't this a lovely pickle?" UV askes as Nya shoves her away.
Kai then finally asked "Where's Lloyd?"
"The Green Ninja can't help you now." Harumi replied.
"Remember how I didn't care for her at first? Then she won me over with all that girl talk, and we started to really get to know each other? Well, now I hate her." Nya growled.
Mr. E seemed to try to make a move but Zane had his arrows at him "Don't even think about it."
"This can end one of two ways….either you hand the masks over peacefully…" Kai started.
"Heh. I don't even have to know the rest of the choices. I like that one." Jay added.
"Or what?" Harumi threatened.
"Or we'll have to get all ninja up on you." Kai replied.
"What does that even mean?" Harumi looked annoyed.
Before Kai could answer thought "It means this!" Ava shot her powers at Harumi making her crash into Kilo.
"That's for the headache!" Ava glared, ready to shoot once more.
It looked like a fight was about to start, but at that moment Lloyd shot out of a waterfall.
Thankfully Jay caught him and a fight was about to start once more, when a growl came from around them.
That's when they looked up to see something with large pincers above them and ran.
Running onto an island they had accidentally trapped themselves as the creature used the water to its advantage, swimming around them as it waited to pounce.
Soothe creature finally jumped and they scrambled for cover, but that wasn't an option for long as it would destroy the rocks.
Everyone threw what they could against it, Ava finally brought out her kunai aimed it at an eye.
This seemed to cause it to become distracted for a moment as others battled it.
Then the ninja did spinjitzu, all except Ava. She had done spinjitzu very few times and was nowhere near the others' lever.
"We have to get you out of here, Quite One." Violet called.
"Not without the masks." Harumi growled.
She whistled for Kilo and E to go to her.
Ava rushed towards them, 'I have to at least get one.' she headed for Mr. E but Violet blocked her path.
"Don't think so ninja." she laughed.
"Get out of my way Violet." Ava glared.
"That's Ultra Violet to you!" she banshee yelled as she headed at her, but Ava dodged and kicked her.
Violet though grabbed her arm and pulled it back "Ack!" Ava yelled in pain.
"Hahah! I'm gonna pull your arm off!" Violet smirked.
Ava growled as suddenly her eyes glowed and the wind around them intensified, so much so violet began to levitate.
"Wait, what's going on!" Violet looked angry as not only Violet went up but so did Ava's arm and with that she was able to pull it forward and smack Violet down as she stopped using her powers.
"Ack!" Violet shrieked with anger till "Stop playing around and get on the ship before we leave you!" Harumi called.
Violet growled, but ran off as Ava tried to follow but as Violet got on she had to cover herself from the thrusters, and with that they got away.
"No!" Ava shouted in anger.
"Hey, they're getting away!" Jay called, as they finally noticed the issue.
"I'm on it. Zane, I need an assist." Nya ordered.
Zane nodded as the two combined their powers to create a ramp for Lloyd who did spinjitzu on the ramp and threw himself up onto the Bounty.
"Nice!" Ava cheered.
"He did not just…" Jay started.
"He just did." Kai ended.
Sadly in the end Lloyd was captured by Kilo.
"They have Lloyd." Kai said with worry.
Cole then said "They have the masks."
They heard a roar and the creature escaped.
At that Zane said "And we have trouble."
Wu then jumped saying "Puppy!" as he tried to go near it.
"Not puppy!" Ava grabbed him and gave him to Cole.
The creature was about to go at them but turned towards Ava and she ran.
"It's mad at me for the eye!" she yelled.
The others rushed off to help her, but nothing they did seemed to stop it.
As she ran, the jasmine flower in her gi fell, and the creature stopped to smell it.
They all looked confused at this, till Ava got an idea.
'Jasmine flowers can help calm people so…'
"Guys get more jasmine flowers as fast as you can!" Ava called.
"What, why?" Kai asked.
"I understand, do as she says." Zane ordered as he rushed to grab some more from a nearby tree.
The other shrugged, but followed.
As this happened Ava noticed the creature step on the flower and then growl.
'It must have dried out.' Ava then started to dodge the attacks from the creature. She needed to keep it near.
With the others they had gathered armfuls of jasmines.
"Now what?" Kai askes.
Ava ran over with the wind calling "thanks," as she used her powers to float the flowers in the air.
As she did she ran around and floated the flowers around the creature.
The others looked on amazed at this.
"Wough!" Colel said.
"Yeah you said it." Jay replied as they looked on.
Zane eyes widened as he looked on mesmerized, the flowers flew around and around Ava moving her arms elegantly to make the wind flow in the direction she wanted as her hair flew slightly above her.
The creature growled and roared at her for a time but then it began to calm.
The scent of the jasmines wafting around it seemed to put the creature at ease, and soon it settled down onto the ground as it enjoyed not just the scent of the flower but the cooling breeze around it.
Soon, Ava stopped waving her hands about as the wind disappeared and the flowers floated to the ground. '
Wu giggled as he danced about trying to catch the petals.
Once she saw the creature was came Ava went up gently and slowly, once she reached the creature she patted its head and said "Hey, you good. Sorry about your eye. But in retrospect, you were trying to eat us."
It seemed to whine miserably and she said "Let's help you out. Zane, can you come over?" she asked.
Zane nodded as he came to the creature's eye where Ava's kunai had hit it.
"I believe I can fix the damage. And even help keep the pain at bay for now." Zane iced over the creature's wounded eye, making it flinch slightly but Zane patted it making it calme once more.
Ava had to smile at Zane's kindness as she saw him work diligently on the creature, while Ava scratched and patted it to keep it calm.
Once it was done the creature stood up and nuzzled them.
"You are welcome." Zane smiled.
"Glad to know we're friends now." Ava smiled as well.
"Hey, you think it could take us back home?" Jay asks as he and the others walk over.
"I think he can, he seems to be able to understand us pretty well." Ava smiles.
"How do you know it's a boy?" Kai asked.
"One claw is bigger than the other. That's a common trend with male crustation while females have equal sized claws." Ava replied.
"It is true, you are quite knowledgeable on such matters." Zane smiles.
"I like biology." Ava smirks with a shrug.
With that they all got on the creature and headed off to Ninjago City.
